but who doesn't use wet wipes to clean their dishes.

You just, you're giving them a one so with a wet wipe.
Well, here's, we'll move to on the radar,
because I've got a few things in front of me here that I've brought in,
because I'm gone away.

So tomorrow I'm leaving.
It's why we're recording in here on a Sunday.
And that's actually been a week since we last saw each other,
because we recorded on a Monday last week.
So it's almost been a week since we've seen each other.
Weird though, doing it like a few days after all,
like normally we're sort of just crunching it in before we have to put it out.
So we're pretty much live.
So I've bought a few things in,
because I'm packing the car at the moment,
and I've taken a couple of things out of my car that are pretty much always in there.
So if I go away at any point spontaneously,
or I just want to go away for a week or anything,
like I've still got my stuff in there.
First thing I've got is a kitchen sink.
So a 10 litre kitchen sink from Sea to Summit.
Folds up really small, like what's 10 centimetres by 10 centimetres,
it's pretty small, pretty tight, folds up real nice and really good.
That doesn't leave the car.
It doesn't leave the car, stays in the car, because it's so compact, stays in the drawers.
I've got a spot for it, just sits there, doesn't do anything.
Hot water goes in this, bit of soap, let everything soak in there,
like the dishes and everything, and then you get it out and you dry it,
and it's just so easy.
Yeah, that makes it that.
Especially with a jet boil.
So I'll just use the jet boil to put up a bit of water,
put some warm cold water in there first, like some non-boiled water,
and then fill it up with a little bit of boiled water,
so you're not just going straight on to the PPC, whatever this is made of.
I've had the more rigid ones, they collapse, you know, the collapse ones,
but they stay, yeah, the hard plastic ones,
but the soft part I found of those tears, does it?
Yeah, quite, I've had it tear, whether it's been on itself as you're collapsing it,
if it isn't sort of perfect going down,
like the actual hard plastic part tears the rubbery part,
or the soft plastic part.
So I think that makes a lot of sense, and that packs up way smaller.
I found that hard to, it was hard to find a place for it.
This is more when I had the drawers, so especially if you leave it out,
it kind of just gets dirty itself, whereas like that's in a bag.
Yeah, and it does get dirty.
Yeah, but like, if I'm camping near the ocean,
or like I'm on the beach, I'll just go and rinse it off in the water.
I just use sea water.
Yeah, I'll use the environmentally friendly dishwashing liquid and stuff,
so you're not harming anything.
That's actually a good tip in itself.
No, it's not a train time tip of the week, but...
No, but people don't go shampooing and washing,
or all the rivers up, or wherever you go,
and with normal, like, that sort of have a bit of a bushwash if you do it.
Yes, you do need it.
You don't actually want to be putting shampoo, soap,
all the stuff that we're using in our normal shower,
in to river systems.
No, no, no, no.
Once in a blue moon, maybe if you need to.
Definitely not, but like, these are good,
because you can just go down, you can fill it up with sea water,
or whatever, like you want.
Sea to summit, mate.

So these are really good.

The next one I've got,
because we'll move on from this,
but this always lives in there,
an adventure king's light.
Strip light.
Strip light, and it's not a hard rigid strip light.
It's a flexible one, rolls up real tight.
Obviously it goes in this bag here.
This lives in the same drawer as the kitchen sink.
So I've got two drawers,
one of them's got my cooking stuff in it,
like my Coleman fire night,
and gas bottles, and a couple mugs and stuff.
And then also this bag here,
which we'll get to in a sec.
But this, you've got two ways to connect it.
So you've got the cigarette lighter,
or you can just hook it straight up to your battery.
Obviously close your bonnet,
and then you can hook it along.
So I hook it along the awning,
and then tie it.
It's got velcro straps on it,
so I can just hook it up there.
You can dim it.
It goes brighter,
goes quite bright,
goes quite dim.
I find these really handy,
because you don't have to have
a whole bunch of rigid lights mounted on anywhere,
and it doesn't take too much.
I think that's the way,
I think those as well,
especially if you can just
seek socket it.
And they kind of,
they can almost be like a bit of a fun
feature party light, that camp.
If you wrap it around the awning,
and you've got two of them,
you can sort of make it a bit like a
stressful lighting sort of style to it, I reckon.
They are good.
There's plenty of brands out there
that do similar things.

obviously I know like King's
do a lot of cheap gear and that kind of stuff.

that I've got,
that we used on the canning.

because this is all gear you're
about to use to.

This is all gear that I'm using.

literally lives in my car all the time.
So I've got a,
this is a camp cover bag.
And it's the same material
that you have on your swag.

With a little plastic top on.
Omnit.
C3 plastic top.
With a zip.
So pretty well waterproof,
water resistant.
Yep.
And then you've got your canvas bag
around the outside.
Yep.
That's lived in my car for
Gs 5 years.
Looks like it's seen a few trips.

And I use this for my hoses
and inflator deflaters
for the tyres.
So everything you need for tyres
is in that bag.

And it just sits in the drawer.
It's a perfect height
so I can still close the drawer
with it on top.
And it just sits there,
keeps everything there.
So all I have to do
when I'm inflating
or deflating my tyres
is just grab this bag
and it sits at the front
of my drawers,
grab my drawer,
grab this bag out
and I'm done.
They are worth their weight
and gold, those things, I reckon.
So many people
when you see them doing
how they pack their car,
videos and all that sort of thing.
I reckon the best,
not in saying the simplest
and most convenient set ups
have that because you just,
like you could mark one
that you can't see on top of
but it's just,
it's so handy having like,
all right, that's bang,
that bag out, tyres,
done, back in,
same spot.
See where it all is,
easy to get to.
So I'm not going to be out.
There's no sifting through.
Even if it's not a clear top,
I think just having them in,
having them organized.
If everything's floating in the drawers,
you'll spend five minutes
trying to find it every time
you go in there.

I probably wouldn't go

just because it's a little bit,
just the design of it is a little bit older.

is very, very well designed.

back in New Zealand into a suitcase
and not ready to buy one over here yet,
so keen to ask the locals.
