Emily BB11: Oh, I, yeah, you guys Rose just took not one, not two, but three ibuprofen and she's not one to casually take pills or take more than two Ibuprofen. So she is really, she's over there. She's in a world of her. She's smiling through it. She's got a beautiful smile still.
Rose BB11: Well that's, you know, I can, I, yeah. I told them, I was like, I can do it. So.
Emily BB11: a year now. Yeah. How long did the other one last for? How long have they been lasting for
Rose BB11: Yeah. But um, yeah, we just did it out the window real quick and it was perfect.
Rose BB11: This, yeah, the seat everybody was, my door and my seat were fighting I used that. I made inch spacers at the front and three quarter inch at the back. So it like. It kicks you back a little bit. It's much more comfortable.
Rose BB11: Yeah. Seriously, that glass has been traveling with that van for 58 years and I fucking broke it. I'm so pissed.
Rose BB11: Got an oil change done. That was great. Got that off the list. But yeah, I'm gonna, I wanna make my rocker, I've got some sheet metal, but I'm patterning out the tops for the Model T, the top sections of the body.
Emily BB11: Yeah. That looks cool.
Rose BB11: So then they called back and Haggled and they were like, what do you need? He's like, I need a front door. I drive this thing every day. And they were like, fine, what's a front door? And he was like, gimme 800 bucks. And they were like, fine. So they gave him, they gave him the money. He didn't get a door continued to drive it.
Emily BB11: Okay. That's not too bad.
Rose BB11: really didn't give a shit about what I, I had to say this week.
And then, you know, Bart opens the door and hits it, Emily BB11: You traitor. What?
Rose BB11: Yeah. Um, you know. So it's out there. It's been out there. But I like the answer that you have. I don't, I don't. That's the question I want to hear. Yeah. But it is, it is ornamental.
Rose BB11: That's why the whole thing about you can have whatever color you want as long as it's black. Because that's what they could do quickly. They could build the car, uh, in days, but it took like three weeks to paint it. They could build the car basically in a day.
Emily BB11: My specific question was just where did Pinstriping come from? Like you said, it was very broad.
Rose BB11: thing. And if you guys don't know what that is, what that story is, there's a really cool VHS video on YouTube of Ed Roth interviewing Dutch. And he's like, tell him the story about how it started. And he was like, well, you know, people would lay down the primers and their fillers and they wouldn't give it enough time to shrink.
Rose BB11: and if you don't know what tracking is, well it's, Rose BB11: you. I know, but I know what my question
Emily BB11: Wow. Damn. In the commercial, he's a movie star. He's a commercial. Star's, a ditch digger, and
Emily BB11: Oh, no.
Rose BB11: Just like Millhouse, Rose BB11: That's, yeah. I mean, you know, day in, day out, you gotta laugh about
Emily BB11: It's kind of rude. It's kind of rude. So I'm a little bit rude sometimes on Facebook. So she was like, are you taking guesses? I would say a and w because of their whole vintage Americana thing for a flavor, I guess Cream soda. So, you know, she had a good guess. Yeah,
Rose BB11: I don't know. So they had Jean do it, and so Jean was like,
Rose BB11: think that the guy steps out or something and is like, I use this. Condom. Just giving it the old in, out and out, I guess.
Rose BB11: Yeah. And every week he loses more hair and looks more disheveled. And he is like, if you're calling about cats, that is next week's show. Right now we should be talking about city planning.
Emily BB11: Yeah, because we, we only have four days for you to answer these questions. Otherwise we'll have to read 'em on the next episode. 'cause we record on Tuesdays and this comes out on
Emily BB11: Okay. Did you, were you this like surprised by me jumping in and saying that? Yeah. Okay, good.
Emily BB11: Mm-hmm. Does
Emily BB11: Mm. Okay. Cool. That's a good idea.
