Electric next year in 2027 have confirmed an electric M3 and an electric X3M.

They say that both cars will sound like existing M combustion cars.

The CEO, Frank Van Meel, says acoustic feedback helps drivers feel bonded with the road and connect with familiarity.

SEAT and CUPRO will launch a series production of the CUPRO Reval soon.

It'll be the first of the urban electric models from Volkswagen Group that includes things like the VW ID Polo and the Schodder Epic.

They've spent 10 billion euros to 11.8 billion dollars in Spain updating their facilities and they're now ready to start making production cars.

GM Energy wants to lease you their vehicle to home hardware and even their home battery system as well.

Because purchasing could be up to $27,000 if you spec the battery and V2H kit as well.

There's a quarter of a million GM vehicles on the road right now which are vehicle to home compatible.

But the hardware is so expensive that they will lease you the system to reduce the upfront cost.

That exact cost though hasn't been defined yet.

Audi's unveiled the new plug-in hybrid version of their RS5 Sportback and the Avant version which is one of the most beautiful things I've seen.

Yes, it's silly and stupid with wide wheel arches and gaps cut into the thing for air flow.

Yes, it looks ridiculous but the estate version, I'm a sucker for a wagon, looks really nice.

It is 500kg heavier than the outgoing version because it's added a 26kWh battery pack WLTP range at 52 miles or 84km electric only power.

That is confirmed for the US, maybe not the estate version, the Avant version.

IONITY has opened up a new 600kW charging station in France on the A7, very busy travel corridor.

This is actually an Alpetronic 1000kW, a megawatt system that will dynamically split the power over 6 dispensers.

But if you're the only one there and you've got a car that can take 600kW and you haven't by the way, but it can dispense it.

Maybe you've got a car that will charge quickly like a Lotus in Maya, X-Pung G9, new X-Pung G6 Porsche McCann, Audi Q6 forthcoming Cayenne.

They'll all take big power, IX3 on Neuerklasse, Mercedes GLC 400kW, you still won't give the charger a workout,

but at least the hardware's in the ground that'll give you 600kW of power.

Mercedes teasing the new VLE, that's their people carrier, with a 115kWh battery.

That is significantly bigger than the 75kWh packs found in other people carriers like the Citroënne Space Tourer

and the Vauxhall Vivaro that'll shift 7 or 8 people or 9 people around in comfort.

Whereas the Mercedes-Benz VLE will do it in style and luxury.

It's an entirely different class of vehicle to the ones I just mentioned.

Pricing, they want to keep around the EQV area, $80,000, $90,000 starting price, that's $110,000 equivalent.

And the BYD Seal, I've mentioned that's being updated for 2026, at least in the UK model year,

by the way, and that is getting more space in the boot, a bigger frunk and some new colors.

But underlying, it's the same vehicle, so 82.5kWh battery, 354 miles WLTP range

and pretty slow charging by Chinese cars standards, at least in the sedan segment, 150kW peak.

And Rivian, now rolling out their dedicated Apple Watch app for R1-S and R1-T,

gen 2 owners to make that more useful with the vehicle to lock-unlock and do vehicle functions.
