A fully electric heavy lorry. Two versions of this with battery packs up to 392 kilowatt hours

and range up to 186 miles or 300 kilometers. Options include rear wheel steering, electric

power takeoff, and jobs like refuse collection and hub to store deliveries in mind.

Now, a bunch of stories all about Chinese cars coming to Europe and the small car sector.

Firstly, BYD, and their small ATO2 is going to launch in Europe before it does domestically in

China in plug-in hybrid form. When it comes to the UK, it'll be probably in the late 20

thousands and something, but it'll quite easily be the smallest and cheapest plug-in hybrid that

you can buy. The larger version of that will have an 18 kilowatt hour pack and 90 kilometers

of electric range. Also talking small cars, Leap Motor, which is the Chinese EV maker back by

Stellantis, will sell the new compact SUV, the B3X. Now, the small one they sell is the T03.

It'll be bigger than that. This will go up against things like the Ford Puma,

Renault 4, and Citroën EC3. That'll go into production in spring 2026 in China. We don't

pay any tariffs on bringing those cars in from China and it'll have 378 miles of range on China's

lenient test cycle. Think 300 when it arrives over here with its 67 kilowatt hour pack costing

around £25,000. A NEO bringing their compact hatchback, the Firefly, should launch in Great

Britain before the end of this year. It's already being made in right-hand drive versions

for Singapore. That will, we think, start around £26,000 because it's on sale already in the Netherlands

for 29,000 euros and it does have battery swapping. Although when it comes to this country,

we don't have a battery swap network here. But I guess you could always take that to

mainland Europe and swap your battery. Germany's EV sales have been surging.

Plug-ins are now one-third of the market in October. Purebevs, around 22% of the German market,

being led by the Skoda LROC last month, then followed by Volkswagen's ID7 and the ID3.

Range Rovers Evoke continues to be developed for a 2027 launch. We do know it's got an 800-volt

platform, but it could be different than the combustion and hybrid Evokes. They might

stick with the second-generation vehicle, and the third-generation Evoke be only electric. But

Jaguar Land Rover's saying they haven't fully ruled out using a small petrol engine as a range

extender. Nissan's LEAF has secured the top UK EV grant. Most of the EVs on sale. In fact,

there's 64 of them or so. Get the lower £1,500 grant. But the new Nissan LEAF, alongside cars

like the Ford Puma Gen E and the Citroen EC5 Aircross, get the full £3,750 UK grant off.

BYD's Shark 6 is a plug-in hybrid slash range extender, kind of a hybrid-y thing,

but it goes on electric power most of the time, is going to be offered in Australia

as a cab chassis, with otherwise exactly the same vehicle, but with chassis rails

for operators to put whatever they need to on the back for their use case.

Walmart is rolling out its 400-kilowatt EV charging hubs, this time adding them in Florida. They want

thousands by the end of the decade. And IONNA unveiling their beacon fast charging hubs,

much like the grid-serve ones over here, with a lounge, with toilet, shower facilities,

refreshments and amenities investing big in California. That's briefly.
