Well, the only one you can get, by the way, they're getting rid of the standard Wagoneer

and they're going to put an e-rev powertrain into it. Now, this comes from the old Ram 1500

Ram Charger, which is no more, that's been officially cancelled. I think it's now been called

Ram 1500 REV or Rev, which is annoying because it's an e-rev, e-R-E-V, Extended Range Electric

Vehicle, quite popular solution in China in the last 12 to 18 months. This uses an engine as a

generator, never drives the wheels, 92 kilowatt hour pack, we think, going into the Grand Wagoneer.

That'll be coming in 2026. Mercedes have been showing off their new vision for what EV should

look like and it looks awfully like a 1930s Mercedes Coupe, huge bonnet, just an enormous hood.

That's not what you would make an EV look like if you were optimizing for the EVs strengths.

So I wonder what they're doing here, but either way, they've talked about how the

inside will be a lounge for autonomy and all the things that they talk about with concept cars.

Genesis is launching the GV70 with an Extended Range EV option. There they say it'll have a

total range of 620 miles or a thousand kilometers when the small combustion engine charges the battery.

Electric motors drive the wheels again, GV70 getting an e-rev variant coming in 2026.

Apptera say that they have secured access to $75 million ahead of a NASDAQ listing.

It's not an IPO or an SPAC that we've seen before, we've got a SPAC listing, but they say it gets

them closer to making that all-electric, kind of weird, funky looking vehicle that has its fans

online and has plenty of detractors as well that say the whole thing is never going to come, but

we wish them the best. Obviously good luck to Apptera. That thing's been going on for about

a thousand years and they haven't got a vehicle out yet. The US is cancelling $7.6 billion of clean

energy projects which were due to happen in 16 states. I'm sure just a coincidence that all

16 states are those that voted for Democrats and Harris in last year's election. The White House

saying that there will be no more money available to fuel the left's climate agenda.

It's being cancelled, says the White House. All 16 states have 30 days to appeal. I wonder

if that'll make any difference. California reached a record in Q3 this year, fully electric

vehicle sales 29.1% over the quarter new car sales. Actually September was even better if you

look at the monthly data because well the tax credit was ending and many people brought forward

their EV purchases. Siemens is introducing their DC fast charging system for the megawatts era.

This is a 1.68 megawatt cabinet and that can be 300 meters away from the dispensers

and it distributes power in 80 kilowatt chunks. This is for heavy duty electric transport. Can use

either the megawatt charging system or CCS-2. Nissan has expanded the safety recall for the

second generation leaf. Now 44,000 vehicles involved either the 40 kilowatt hour or 62 kilowatt

hour pack. They're asking you not to charge on Chatham-O DC fast charging whilst they work on a

solution. The average you new car in the United States is now over $50,000. It hit that threshold.

Kelly Bluebook says sometime in September that's the average price of regardless of fuel type new

vehicle. General Motors is ending their hydrotech hydrogen fuel cell development program. There is

a joint venture which is still going on with Honda which will make fuel cells for things like power

generation or data centers but putting hydrogen into road going vehicles is a spectacularly stupid

idea. Tesla will raise production at its Shanghai Gigafactory in Q4. VW is testing

quantum-scape solid state cells in Ducati two-wheelers and the Lucid SFI is the German
