Here, the MG4 is quite a big deal, actually.

The MG4 is a small family car, but sells really well.

50,000 sold so far.

Now they're adding a new one to the lower end of the range.

Actually, it's an entirely different car.

In China, it's not rear-wheel drive, it's front-wheel drive,

and it's a different chassis, but they're still calling it the MG4.

And it sort of looks a bit similar, and they're not taking the old one off sale,

but they are refreshing the interior with new tech and calling it the new MG4.

Meanwhile, the cheaper one, MG4 Urban, which does look different,

starts at £23,495.

There'll be long-range versions of this as well, and premium versions, too.

MG will have something to sell you from about £23,000,

up to about £33,000, if you want the full fire-breathing X-Power version.

That's very cool.

MG's website wasn't updated as of when I recorded at mid-date, did it?

Rivian has put $4.6 million behind a new Colorado measure

to try and protect EV sales direct to customers.

They want to write this into the Constitution,

make an amendment that EV makers can sell and service,

direct and avoid the franchise dealership model so far,

the strong dealer groups, and lobbies haven't responded.

Eight cars have made the UK car of the year shortlist,

and guess what? All of them can run on electrons.

Like five of the eight are pure EVs.

And so whichever one wins car of the year in the UK this year,

in February, we know the winner will be an EV.

What does that tell you?

Like all the award ceremonies, the winners are always EVs now.

When you ask car journalists, what's the best car?

What does what does that tell you?

I think you know what it tells you.

BMW have very quietly started shipping the first customer IX3s

to BMW owners in Munich.

Well, that's home turf for BMW.

Doesn't affect the European rollout to dealers in early March.

And I'm sure they won't make a song and dance about it.

But if you see an IX3 on the road, that Neue Klasse platform in Germany.

Yeah, their customer cars, they're being delivered.

I don't know, maybe staff members or something.

KGM, the new name for Sang-Yong, South Korean KGM.

Musso EV is their pickup truck is coming to the UK,

starts at 45,000 pounds without VAT.

We can say that price because it's a business vehicle, 73 kilowatt hour pack.

But it tows three and a half thousand kilograms, payloads of thousand kilograms.

And and it's really well appointed inside as well.

So we'll see if I need to get any takers for that.

The KGM Musso EV now coming to the UK.

Volvo have said that our next big earner is going to be all electric.

They've been talking about the EX60 launched last week

and just adding a few more details to it.

They said the way that we've done all of our investment in new systems,

new ways of building the car, sell to pack integration of this new Volvo platform

that's a Volvo Swedish thing and also the giga casting of the whole row rent

means that we can sell the EX60 and make more money selling electrics.

Than one of the existing XC60 plug in hybrids.

They can make more money going electric.

That is something that many of the existing car makers in their competition

still can't say.

It's why many of the American car makers have got themselves so tied up

and are moving back to combustion after all the EV investment.

Volvo say we've done the hard yards and now they call the downward slope.

They're reaping returns.

Tesla's semi done a big deal with pilots.

Now there are loads of pilot stations, travel centres,

nine hundred off them across forty four states and five Canadian provinces.

It's a really big tie up.

Going to add Tesla superchargers or mega charge ready for the Tesla semi trucks

to those locations.

Forty six of them by twenty twenty seven here.

Grid serve have opened two hubs for electric HGVs, one in Exeter,

called the Electric Freightway and one in Bullock on the A1M.

And Nissan have shown off a Nissan Aria covered in solar panels

for Clean Energy Day in Australia as Australia bakes in summer temperatures

right now at about twenty three kilometres of solar range a day.
