SK, the battery energy company, is expanding LFP capacity at their Georgia plant in the United

States with a new four-year deal to supply a Colorado-based firm with LFP packs.

It'll mean that LG and SK have both dual chemistry facilities in the US.

They can make both NCM and LFP for EVs or battery energy storage systems.

Great Wall Motors is going to reboot their European push with a revised strategy around

their Havel brand, plug-in hybrid and all-electric SUVs.

The EV incentives in the US seem like they're continuing.

Lots of people, very, very high-profile people, like the CEO of Ford,

have said that the market could collapse into the dark ages of EVs from a 10%

market share down to 5%. Jim Farley said,

let's wait and see because the car makers are all doing their best to keep the sales going.

And whether it's Stellantis General Motors, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, all offering,

whether it's 0%, over five years, whether it's 7.5 grand up the vehicles,

lease discounts, cashback as well. There's so many good deals on EVs right now,

even though the federal tax credit has gone. I'm not sure we're heading for the cliff edge

of EVs in the United States. Let's just wait and see and we'll get the numbers at some point.

But pound for pound, you cannot get a better deal in the US right now than going for the EV option.

So I'm optimistic. China is seeking help from the World Trade Organization.

They say India isn't playing by WTO rules. Of course, China over the years has done its fair

bit to subsidize their own EV industry. EVs in the UK cost £350 a year less to run,

according to some new data. They were looking at insurance, tax and fueling compared to the

equivalent size electric vehicle compared to combustion. And that didn't factor in

servicing. And of course, an older vehicle gets the more a combustion vehicle will need

service. And that's when it can really start to cost you a lot of money to not be driving an EV.

Now, the new factory in the factory in Romania that's owned by Mercedes Benz is now making the

new electric drive units for the all new all electric Mercedes Benz GLC. As that approaches

its series production, the fact they're making the drive units. So that is the electric motor,

the power electronics, the gearing and all that kind of stuff. They make them in Romania. They

ship them over to Bremen, I think where they produce the Mercedes Benz GLC all new. That

means that project is getting closer. New York State is investing another $80 million in seven

regional transit providers to go zero mission with the buses in the area and the infrastructure

needed around it. Wallbox, the company that makes EVSEs, the Quasar 2 bidirectional charger is

finally rolling out. These ones in California are hooked up to people who own Kiri V9s to provide

power back to the home bidirectional charging. Oregon is rolling out solar storage in DC fast

charging with X charge of North America. And congratulations to the everything electric team,

aka fully charged show. They're showing Farmer last weekend had a new

Tendon's Day record and that's briefly.
