Automakers are recalibrating their strategies in heart incentives and leasing deals to cushion the blow. The industry is staying committed to their electric future, finding creative ways to keep prices as low as possible.
Ford and GM have got an innovative way of doing it. They've been buying back dealer stock and then selling them or leasing them on which means the dealers can advertise them at the lower lease prices.
It's unclear if more than Ford and GM have been doing this. They said they did it in cooperation with the IRS. Talk the Turkish EV maker is showing up in Germany with prices starting at 35,000 euros for the small battery at two competitively priced EVs.
