Bienvenidos a The CarPro Show.

Free unbiz car advice.
No te preocupes de hablar en el radio.
Es solo yo y tú.
Y vamos a resolver tu problema.
No tengo cuestiones mecánicas,
pero además de eso,
no te preocupes de comprar o despedir.
No te preocupes de comprar
nuevos, usados o certificados.
Si no tienes problemas de crédito,
hay cosas que puedes hacer.
Vamos a hablar.
800-926-7777-7777
Todd Jambliss, mi cohost, está aquí.
Sí, sí.
¿Cómo estamos, señor?
Estamos muy bien excitados
sobre el sábado y, por supuesto,
el año anterior para todo.
Te has mencionado,
si tienes algunos problemas de crédito
o tal vez estás intentando
poner tu financiamiento en cuenta,
hay algunas cosas que puedes hacer.
¿Tienes que encontrar
cuando eres un dealer?
Y tal vez las cosas son diferentes
ahora que,
cuando estuvieron en el pasado.
Pero, cuando en diciembre
llegué, ¿tienes que encontrar
que las personas,
las empresas de rendimiento,
las bancas,
los de todos los,
fueron un poco más lenientas?
100%.
Eso es lo que voy a decir.
Entonces, si piensas,
no puedo comprar un carro,
porque,
mi crédito no es tan grande.
Bueno, puedes ser sorprendido.
Sí, realmente no.
Porque,
ellos tienen números,
ellos están intentando también.
O sea,
ellos proyectan cuántos problemas
van a aprobar en un año.
Sí.
Cómo muchos problemas
van, más importante,
a un libro.
Sí.
Cómo mucho tienen en los libros.
Y así,
ellos llegan solos
este año.
Y si eres un dealer,
algunas personas están afraidas
de que voy a ser malo
en el car dealership
porque tengo créditos malos.
Sí.
Déjame decir algo.
Los car dealership son
gente inteligente.
Sabía que,
en el día en el que
nací en los car dealerships,
me decían a mis personas
mil veces,
te dices el mejor care
de todos los que
caminan en la puerta
y si ellos no tienen
gran crédito,
te traes el red carpito.
Sí.
Porque,
si podemos comprarlos en un carro,
cuando vienen aquí
pensando que no pueden comprar un carro,
tenemos un cliente para la vida.
Y van a hablar
de todos los que
saben.
Sí.
Y es un buen idioma.
Y eso es lo que
las personas miran.
Ellos quieren
gente que,
el amigo de mí
fue a este dealership
y ellos fueron tratados
muy bien
cuando hemos tenido
malos tratamientos
en otros lugares.
Eso no va a hacer nada,
pero solo ayudan a tu dealership
y van a tener
una gran historia
para decirlo también.
No,
eso es lo que
siempre llamé un customer de oportunidad.
Los
personas con gran crédito
que te han aprobado,
ellos eran geniales
y el otro customer de oportunidad
para mí,
eran mad people.
Mad people.
Sí.
Mad another dealership
y mad of you.
Mad of us.
Alguien se ha caído
y alguien se ha creído
algo.
Y el hecho
que como el colectivo
estaría en la puerta
y escuchar a ellos
y decir
que estás bien.
Vamos a verlo.
Ok.
El
customer
era
uno de mis mejores amigos
de hoy
empezó
como mad customer.
Es interesante.
Sí.
Smart dealers
piensan de esa manera.
Y tenemos
muchas de ellas.
Una oportunidad
de carpro.com
que está todo ahí.
Vamos a hablar
de Stuart
en Hollister, California.
Stuart,
bienvenido al
show de carpro,
Merry Christmas.
Bien,
Merry Christmas
a todos y Todd
gracias
por tomar mis calles.
Bueno, gracias.
Y estoy en
Folsom,
no Hollister.
Oh, ok.
Folsom,
sure.
California,
pero un poco apart.
Así que
tengo una pregunta de 2-part
para Jerry.
Sí.
Mi hija
está dirigiendo
el 2016
Accura TLX.
Estaba
99,000
kilómetros.
Ella es
un peripeligio.
Y como carros
han sido más
seguros,
la altura
de la puerta
y la altura
han aumentado.
Y así,
es difícil
para ella
transferir
en el carro.
Sí.
Y
buscando un carro
que es
un sedán
que es
más bajo
para la tierra,
una entrada fácil para ella
y tal vez
algún tipo de
incentivo
o lo que sea
para controlar
el carro.
Sí.
Yo estoy
dirigiendo
el 2001
Toyota Sequoia
292,000
kilómetros
y
es el momento
para obtener
un nuevo carro.
No puedo decidir
entre
el
Toyota Tundra
y
el Dodge Ram
o el Ford F-150.
Ok.
He tenido 6 carros.
El último
de ellos
es un Chevy
Blazer
265,000
kilómetros
Datsun
250
y este
292.
Ok.
Bueno,
aquí es
lo que
recomiendo
para ella.
Creo
que el Camry
va a ser difícil
de meter
porque
es
un buen carro
y
no tendrá
problemas
en y fuera de ello.
Los incentivos
para el diciembre
son
increíbles
y
Toyota
tiene un
programa
de movilidad
donde
van a
dar dinero
para ella
y
controlar la mano.
Y
están muy buenos.
Ellos tienen el mejor programa
que sé de.
Todas las manufacturas
tendrán que hacer eso
pero no tienen nada más.
Así que
vamos a enfocar
para ella
en el Camry.
Ahora,
para ti
voy a tomar un brazo
y
voy a
regresar
después de el brazo
y vamos a hablar
de tu carro
si tú lo entiendes.
Y bienvenido
a el show de CarPros
con Jerry Reynolds
el CarPros
y me Todd Chambliss
Jerry continúa
con Stuart
y Folsom
Stuart,
bien,
estamos buscando
para tu vida
un carro
que está por la policía
y
yo
recomiendo el Camry
si tú lo has
dado
a ese vehículo
y
pensé
que
si
si
si
si
si
si

Así que, si yo were you,
You, you will absolutely love her.
Everybody I send to Elk Grove loves Rachel.
And she just.
Her on the radio all the time.
Yeah, she's just amazing.
So let's get you fixed up.
I have a particular trim.
I'm sorry.
Well, the best.
You have a particular trim.
You know, it depends on how loaded
the truck you want, but I think the XLT
still is the best value out there.
It comes well equipped
and it's the most popular truck
that they've got.
And that's where they put their incentives.
If you're not towing anything,
I'd get the 2.7 EcoBoost.
But if you want some more power,
the 3.5 has been a great engine
for a whole lot of years.
So, you know, either one of those,
I definitely get one of the two EcoBoost engines.
The the the long term reliability.
Those engines have just been so good
and the fuel economy is really good
with both of them for trucks.
You know, no truck gets great gas mileage,
but these two get, you know,
as good as anything out there
unless you go to a diesel.
With that, my friend, we got a run,
but I hope you and your wife
have a wonderful, wonderful Christmas.
I appreciate the call so much.
If you would like to talk to me
like Stuart just did,
call thechase.com
carpro hotline and that phone number is 800-926-7777.
We had all of our lines full
just a few minutes ago,
but a couple people have dropped off.
So if you want to pick my brain
right now is a good time to do it.
Don't typically have open lines
during the show,
but we do right this second.
800-926-7777.
And congratulations, Mr. Chambliss.
Oh, thank you on what?
On making the top five
in the most click list this week, but.
I did make the top five
as you said earlier,
you eat your way in
like by the skin of my teeth
is how that worked out.
Yeah, it did.
You were number five
right above my advice column,
which was the very best month
to buy a new vehicle,
which of course, as you know,
it'd be right now.
Right now.
Yeah, sure.
And it is.
But our top click story
in yesterday's free newsletter
was the 10 best and 10 worst
times to buy a used car.
Hmm.
I read that it was interesting
as to it with the weather.
A lot of it does, yes.
But I will tell you
if you've got a trade in
the used car prices right now
are through the roof
and continuing to go up.
I just keep.
I'm surprised by that.
So it's so unusual
yeah for prices to go up
this time of year on used cars.
Now, if you want to buy a used car,
if you're just in the market
for a used car,
typically January and February
are the two best months
in my opinion,
because there's a glut
of used cars
from all the trade ins
in December.
There you go.
There you go.
Say some dough.
Call the car pro show
one eight hundred nine two six
seventy seven seventy seven.
Next up on the car pro show,
Salvador y Houston.
Welcome, Salvador.
What can I do for you?
I think we're taking my fall.
My wife, my wife
has a twenty eighteen Chevrolet
Traverse.
I think we have about
nine thousand left on it.
And he has this hair
in there about looking
into getting a new vehicle
sometime next year.
And she's been talking
about a Kia, but I really
want to convince her
to stay with that Traverse
or maybe get another one.
What are your thoughts?
Well, I love the Traverse.
I think for the money
it and the Ford Explorer
are two of the better buys
out there with with roomy
third row seats
and that's the key.
There's a lot of midsize
three row SUVs out there.
But some of them,
the third seat
are just not usable.
Traverse,
you got plenty of room
back there plus
a pretty decent cargo area
in the back.
I love the features
that you get on the Traverse.
There's just some
really cool things the way
there infotainment system works
and value wise,
it's a great buy.
You know, I've just had
the Palisade from Hyundai.
It was great.
I like the ride and drive
of the Traverse
actually better.
I think it I think it
handles better
and I think it's quieter
on the inside.
You know,
Quality wise,
Traverse has been great.
How many miles
does she have on hers?
She has 98,000 miles on it.
Yeah, she needs
y all need to do something
before it hits 100.
Because that's going
that's going to devalu it.
And you know,
if I were going to do
anything, I'd certainly take advantage
of these December incentives
if you can talk her
into moving her timeline up
to now
because between
what you'll lose
when the Traverse hits
100,000 miles
and the incentives going down
after January 5th
man, right now
just seems to me like
it would be the absolute perfect time
and I've got some
really proud of my Chevy dealer line up
in the Houston area.
I got some great ones.

Buenas personas.
American Made.
Me gusta.
Vamos a hablar de Johnny
y Katie Texas
en el área de Houston.
Hola Johnny, bienvenido.
¿Qué haces para ti?
Buenas tardes.
Hola.
Buenas tardes.
He escuchado un show
esta mañana
cuando primero viste y
dices que los incendios
están ahí en de diciembre.
Sí.
En de junio y febrero
está tan temprano.
Mi pregunta es
estoy intentando
hacer un F-350
y un F-150.
Y
¿Puedo esperar
hasta de junio
cuando los incendios
siguen en de junio
y en de febrero?
No.
No.
They will not.
They will fall dramatically.
And here's
Johnny, I was in Detroit.
When I was the Ford
National Dealer
Council Chairman,
I was in Detroit
three years in a row
for over a hundred
nights a year.
And I learned
I learned
what the factories do
and that was
a good education for me
because I've
been in the retail side
of the car business
my entire life.
So
what they do
is they will save up
incentive money.
A certain percentage
of revenue
goes to incentives, right?
So they save up.
They don't spend it all
and throughout the year
they save it up
for December.
Well, when January rolls
around
the incentive bank
is empty.
The money's gone.
So and plus
everything that they do
works on a yearly basis.
So they're
they're not worried
about hitting their
2026 numbers
in January.
So they start
pulling back.
They pull back immediately
on incentives.
It happens every
single year.
So if you want
the incentives
which are excellent
right now
you need to do something
by December 31st.
Now what year
is your F 350?
17 2017.
Is it a diesel?
Yes.
So with 130 miles
on it.
Which is very, very low
for a diesel.
That thing's worth.
It's in good shape.
It's worth a lot of money.
It's a great trade in.
And when you trade in
for a new one
then you're going to get
a massive
tax savings
on sales tax
on the new truck.
So I would
I would tell you to get
with one of my dealers.
I've got great Ford dealers
in the Houston area.
Jorge Lopez
Tom Balford's been with me
forever.
Mark Collin
at
Planet Ford and Amble.
Great guy knows his trucks.
Both those guys are
truck experts.
And if you'll talk
to one of them
they'll just
they'll roll out the red carpet
for you and either
one of them
is going to want your trade.
They're going to step up
and pay top dollar for it.
OK,
that sounds
like a winner.
All right,
brother.
Merry Christmas
to you
and you take care.
Terry League City
also in the Houston area.
What can I do for you?
Terry?
Hey, Jerry.
I just heard
that you had some open lines
and I just wanted to comment
on how smart you were
dealing with the angry customers.
I waited tables
for 20 years
and
when I was young
my manager
would have me go
take somebody's table
after the people had waited
a long time
and they were already mad
and I was like,
well, why would I do that?
I'm not going to get a tip.
You know that man.
Yeah.
And so I figured out
as I as I got better
at it,
I figured out
when my manager
told me to go do that
I'd go up
and I'd say,
hey guys,
I noticed y all were waiting.
You're not in my station,
but if you want me
to go ahead and take care of you,
I'll be happy to do it.
Oh,
those
those would be some
of the best tips
I ever got.
Brilliant.
Wow.
I love that.
You know, Terry,
I think back
and I love
remembering stories
from when I owned car dealerships,
but the typical
and the car business
has its own language.
Our language for somebody
that was upset.
We called them heat cases.
I don't know why.
I don't know why.
That's it.
But it was around
the way before I was,
but my assistant
would come in
and her name was Judy.
God lover.
She was the best
and she'd say,
oh,
you got a heat case out here.
That's okay.
Send them in.
And the ones I loved
were the ones that came in
storming into my office,
right?
They were fuming.
You could see the smoke
coming out of their nose
and they almost
always said the same thing.
I want to tell you
right now.
I will never
buy another car
from you
as long as I live.
That was a challenge
which prompted me
to give them
the exact same response
I did every single time.
Well,
I'm sorry to hear that.
You just took away
any incentive
I have to help you.
Oh,
and I stood up
like showing them
the door.
Yeah.
And every single time
well,
you know,
I might buy another car
if you help me.
Oh,
how funny.
Okay,
then tell me your problem
and what we'd sit down
and like adults
we'd talk about it
and I'd find out
99% of the time
that they were right.
Somebody screwed up.
I had 400 employees
in my dealership
and guess what?
They were human.
They made mistakes.
They had bad days.
Their spouses
pissed them off in the morning
and it showed
and there's nothing to do
with the human element
except when those things
come along,
you fix it.
And I,
you know,
I told my people
so many times
if somebody comes
to my office,
they're going to get
whatever they want.
So you might as well
solve it
and be the hero
and that was the way
I ran my dealerships
and the smart dealers
today still do it
just like that.
I loved your story.
Thank you so much
and that makes so much sense to me.
You too, kiddo.
Wow.
Thank you very much.
Merry Christmas to you.
She didn't say what she's doing now.
I assume she's not waiting tables anymore.
Maybe not,
but still,
still a good job to have.
I'm famous for tipping
when the service is good.
Oh, absolutely.
I just,
those people work so hard
that they do.
For a living.
Take a lot of abuse too.
Oh my goodness.
There's
there's just some people
that you can't,
you can't please.
No,
it's absolutely right.
We got lots of time left here
on the car pro show.
Whether you want an SUV,
a truck or
what is it called?
Oh yeah,
a car.
Get free expert advice
from Jerry Reynolds,
the car pro
at 1-800-926-7777.
Yeah.
Well,
November,
US auto sales
as a highlighted
and this week's
free newsletter
that dropped yesterday,
which you can get
sent to you immediately
if you go to car pro dot com
go to the bottom
and click that link.
You can have it done
within just mere moments,
but the US auto sales
in November
looks like
it's the same as the month
before I guess
hybrids are hot
and the EVs are not
basically.
Yeah.
And there was
there was more automakers
that were down
this November
than up.
I was surprised
by that Ford especially.
Yeah.
And Toyota was up.
Ford was flat.
Yeah.
But Toyota
opened up
a pretty good distance
in November
between them
and Ford
for the year end
sales numbers
to see who's
going to sell
which car company's
going to sell the most cars
for the year.
So that
that was close up
until November
and Toyota
up about a 30,000
unit lead
in November.
And we'll see where it goes.
Ford can turn it on
to and with their incentives
right now.
That is a strong suit
for them.
Yeah, they're going to be
a player.
Some of the
I mean Toyota's
just got a great lineup
though.
That's really competitive.
The forerunner,
the highlander,
the grand highlander,
the Sequoia.
They're all
doing great
and even the EV's
they're struggling
but at least
they're kind of helping
support the whole thing.
Yeah.
And I think that's
one of the reasons
that November
some of those numbers
were down
because of that rush
of electric cars
that we saw
yeah
before the
$7,500
went away.
That was a big deal
when that went away.
It was.
Let's talk to
Simon in Arlington,
Texas,
Dallas,
Fort Worth area.
Simon,
welcome.
How can I help you?
Yes, hi.
Good morning
Jerry.
Hi buddy.
Doing good pal.
Merry Christmas
to you.
Same for you.
Happy holidays.
Thank you.
I've been following
your show
for the last
couple of years
and I am in
Arlita,
California,
not Texas.
Oh, I'm sorry.
Yeah, it's all right.
I've been in a carburetor
business for 41 years
and I got into a glass
business.
I do shower doors,
mirrors,
stuff in Arlita
and Los Angeles area.
I bought a 2013
Ram
pick up
with the
4.7.
I put a
glass rack on it.
I was happy for a year
but now I have been
a lot of problems
such as
the
transmission go out.
I've replaced
the radiator,
the rear end
racking pinion.
M.A. Miles
for me to look
M.A. Miles
it got on the salmon.
I got
I got 84,000
miles on the truck.
Wow.
I am I am happy
with the truck
because it gives me
the best gas mileage.
You know, I could drive
all the way to Long Beach
and back.
I still got more
than half a tank gas.
Yeah.
The problem is
the truck
is breaking down
little by little.
So I was looking
for a better truck
something like a Chevy
HD 2500
which I look in California.
You can find nothing
less than 80,000 miles
for no less than
$30,000.
Yeah.
They hold their value in Texas.
Yeah.
I found one in Texas
with 43,000 miles.
They're asking 22.
So I think
or you have a different
brand of truck.
You could recommend me Jerry.
Well, there's so many more trucks
in Texas
and there is in California.
I mean the
the market here
will always be cheaper
just because there's a glut
of huge trucks
at all times.
So it might be worth
shipping one from here
to there
if you find one down here
one of my dealers
and I've got some really good ones
in DFW.
I suspect
that your issue
with your ram
is you've overloaded it.
I would guess that that glass
knowing that's heavy
you probably put too much strain
on it
and that's caused your problem.
So going to a three-quarter ton
makes good sense
and I'd go with a diesel
I'll tell you right now
it'll last you a lot longer
but look at my website
carpro.com
and you can search for trucks there.
Hey, don't believe all the ads
you see
call the car pro show
1-800-926-7777
It's that part of the show
where we talk about
some happy listeners
the folks who have taken
Jerry's advice
and they've gone through
Jerry's system
and used his dealers
and had great results
from it
to and the Dallas
Fort Worth area
first of all
partplace Lexus Plano
where Chris Bruner
was the one taking care of Cody
who was interested in a car
I think you review the 2026
Lexus TX500H
F Sport
550H
yep 550
ok
it was in yesterday's newsletter
that's right 550 ok
Chris apparently connected
Cody with
two of the folks there
at part place
Blake and Nick
did a phenomenal job
will definitely use them
again the future
I'm a customer
you are
you've bought there before
I haven't
I can attest to that
they do a great job
and Sandy
was looking for a
Hyundai Palace 8 Hybrid
another vehicle
I think that you
had that in
that was not long ago
two weeks ago
yeah Alliance Hyundai
where Mike McLeod
was there
and he was friendly
and knowledgeable
communicated often
about where the car was
in transit
after the cell
followed up
to see if she had any
questions
after driving the car
for a few days
and I know
that's a trend
because I got the same
response from a
quite a few of the
deals I've done
through your system
you should
get that follow-up call
and
they want to know
that make sure
that you're happy
and they don't want you
getting a hold of me
saying they weren't happy
so
that's what keeps
that's
that is the part
of the system
that makes this work
and that's why
your Costco's
and Sam's clubs
and things
that dabble in cars
they don't have that
because they don't hold
anybody accountable
and I do
so keep that in mind
plus they charge
big fees
and
I don't
I don't make a penny
if anybody buys a car
we got two more hours
to go next hour
we're going to be talking
about the new
MPG standards
for cars
in America
so don't go anywhere
go to carpro.com
and sign up for that newsletter
that's where everything is
you know what you want
but not so sure
about which brand
so call the carpro show
