So stay with us.
We've got lots to cover today with the end of the year deals that are going on out there.
This coming Friday is Black Friday.
I talked about that in our free weekly newsletter yesterday.
The Black Friday deals that are out there are amazing.
These are the absolute best deals we have seen since 2020.
Why is that?
Why is that?
I knew you were going to ask me.
It's because the dealers are overstocked.
And it's also because this happens every year at this time.
The dealers and the manufacturers are trying their best to pad their numbers and finish the year.
And at the manufacturer level and all of them, I don't care which one,
there is a ton of bonuses that are riding on the performance of the entire calendar year.
That's what's going on.
That's the main thing.
So they save up, they squirrel away incentive money all year long.
And then they bring it all out about this time of year through the end of the year.
So that's what's happening.
If you've waited, you were smart.
You waited until the best time.
And we're going to be talking with you today and what's the best thing for you to do.
The way to reach me is on thechase.com carpro hotline, which is 800-926-7777.
800-926-7777.
Todd Chambliss is with me as usual.
14 months, you've made it.
Is it been 14 months now?
Already.
Holy cow, that's greatness right there.
I didn't think I'd make it past 12.
I was just happy to make the year mark.
But here we are.
And on the cusp of the very beginning of the holidays, Thanksgiving, Black Friday,
I think it's called Super Saturday, where you're supposed to shop like mom and pop stores.
And then Cyber Monday.
Right.
And then it's going to be a big, big week.
And like you said, this is the time.
And I think you mentioned on the Dallas show just a few minutes ago,
yeah, you can wait till the end of the year.
Incidents are not likely to go any higher, any better.
I mean, you may get a little surprised, but it looks like they're at the best they can be.
And why wait?
Why not do it now when the selection is better at this point?
Yeah, that's the thing, especially if you've got specific needs.
And if you're trying to take advantage of tax code 179
for the self-employed and business owners,
I've got a write up on that done by me and the CPA that you can get in yesterday's free
newsletter and you can get yesterday's.
It's not too late.
You can subscribe right now at the bottom of the page at carpro.com
and you'll get yesterday's immediately.
And you can read about that.
But if you've got a company or if you have any kind of specific needs,
start now because it may take the dealer, especially if you're looking at something popular,
like a Toyota or a Lexus.
They've got a ton of cars coming in still for this year.
And they may have to put your name on one of those that's coming in in December.
Well, start now.
Don't wait until December to do that.
So we've got great dealers at carpro.com.
Near the top of the page, if you look, it'll say find a carpro certified dealer near you.
Click there and then put in the brand of vehicle that you want.
You can use it as many times as you want to.
You can you can see the closest dealer to you.
You can email them.
You can see my contact.
If you email them from there,
you will get a VIP certificate back in your inbox that you can print out.
And it'll ensure that you get the very best possible deal in the shortest amount of time
because the dealers are busy.
They're going to be busy between now and the end of the year.
They're going to be busy till January the second nonstop.
So get in there.
Black Friday is a great weekend to get yourself a deal.
So if you're thinking about it, you're not sure what you want.
Call me 800-926-7777.
And I promise you this.
If you get a busy signal, wait till we go to a break or wait until
someone hangs up and then hit that number.
Have it ready.
800-926-7777.
That's thechase.com carpro hotline.
To the phones we go and in Reno, California, Patrick.
What's going on my friend?
Thank you for calling first.
Hey, thank you, Jerry.
I emailed you about two days ago and you responded back to me the same day.
So thank you about that.
Sure.
I'm heading over to one of your certified dealers, Rose E. Toyota Sacramento.
The carpro representative is not going to be there today.
So I'm going to work with someone else.
Yeah.
Any referred?
Okay, go ahead.
I have a trade in and I've never traded in a car before.
Is there a special carpro service for trading or a special deal?
What kind of car are we talking about here?
Toyota Prius has 120,000 miles on it.
Okay.
I didn't have time to review.
I read one of your articles regarding shopping around for different prices,
but I didn't have time to see if I'm getting the best traded deal.
No, you've got to get your opinion on that.
I was hoping you didn't have a junker of some kind because you've got a valuable trade there.
Used Priuses are always in demand.
They're going to want your car, so they're going to step up for it.
Now, let me give you a secondary name since Dan's not there.
Uh, if you run into any issues, talk to Tony Bernasconi.
Yes, that rhymes.
Don't, don't look down on the guy because he's got a rhyming name.
He's a good guy.
He couldn't help it.
Tony Bernasconi, he's the general sales manager.
I've known him for a lot of years.
If you run into any issues, just ask for it.
Tell whoever you're talking to, go get Tony Bernasconi.
And I want to talk to him because Jerry Reynolds, the car pro, told me to.
And whatever it is, he'll straighten it out.
So no, you don't need to do anything else.
They're going to be fair with you.
They always are.
They're going to give you top dollar for that Prius.
They're going to want it.
And it'll be a quick, simple, easy deal.
You watch.
I hope you have a great Thanksgiving, my friend.
I appreciate the call.
800-926-7777, carpro.com.
I had two cars for review this week.
And we'll be talking about them as we go on right here on the car pro show.
Before you buy a car for your teenager, talk to Jerry Reynolds, the car pro.
Here's the number.
1-800-926-7777.
And welcome back to the car pro show with Jerry Reynolds, the car pro and me, Todd
Chambliss, 100 cars a year on average is what you say that you normally will go and review.
Yep.
And certainly this week has been no slouch.
No.
A couple of cars this week.
What are you driving these days?
Well, I had the 2026 Chevy Equinox RS Electric.
Oh, and how is that?
It's nice.
It's nice.
I love the Equinox.
It's just a great SUV overall.
Journal Motors wised up.
The plan was to make it all electric.
All the Equinoxes were going to be electric.
And luckily with the shift in the market, they backed off of that.
So you can get either a gas engine or an electric engine.
If you're in the market for an electric, this is a very, very nice SUV.
319 miles of range.
Oh, wow.
Quick charging.
You can charge it at the Tesla super charging stations.
But a very enjoyable car.
And no hybrid on the horizon for them yet.
No, no, not now.
GM's, they put kind of put all their eggs in the electric basket, which turned out to be a mistake.
Maybe they'll change their minds.
Well, they will.
They'll come around.
All of them have.
And then I've also had the 2026 Toyota Crown Nightshade, which is a really good size sedan.
Okay.
Rare to find those.
It's rare for them to send me one, any kind of car for a review.
But they did.
And I'm thankful for it.
Very nice car.
$50,000 on the Windows sticker, just barely.
That's competitive.
40 plus miles per gallon in town and in town and highway.
And it's all wheel drive.
That's a good deal right there.
It's a hybrid.
Yeah.
I love that.
It's the Toyota hybrid.
All wheel drive.
Nice size car.
Good looking car too.
Those, those two reviews, both those will be in this Monday's free weekly newsletter.
Monday's going to be the day, right?
I did say Monday, which is normally on Friday.
But because of Thanksgiving, we wanted to get it out early.
And you'll get our Thanksgiving edition, which includes our prayers for our military
and our prayer for our first responders.
Kevin's Thanksgiving recipes are there.
How to safely transport food.
That's kind of a big one.
If you're making food and bringing it, yeah, that's going to be important to them.
You got to, you got to go, you know, get right to grandma's house.
Exactly right.
Without spilling things.
Make a mess.
And coming up at 35 minutes after the hour, that's going to be 14 minutes from now.
The car pros 12, 12 days of Christmas where I've incorporated with Todd's help.
I've incorporated 12 of your favorite automotive taglines, such as December to remember.
You're going to hear that 12 times.
You'll be very familiar with it.
You will know all about it.
Absolutely.
But that's coming up here pretty quick.
And if you want a copy of that song, it will be in Monday's newsletter.
And you can download it forwarded to whoever you want to.
And we're not selling it.
We know we're not selling it.
We had a great, great response to it on the Dallas show earlier today.
Mike in Hawkins, Texas.
Welcome, Mike.
I'm going to help you.
Hey, man, I really like the show, but I'm frustrated.
What's going on?
Well, I have a 2012 Ford Taurus.
It's got 180,000 miles on it.
The controller for that does the air conditioning, heating, all that stuff, it went bad in it.
Yeah.
So I got it up at Toliver Ford and many older and they've checked it out.
It's got to have a new controller.
Ford does not support that at all anymore.
So it's tough and they're going to send it to a place and this place is going to do something
with some radio something.
And I'm happy about that.
It's going to cost $1,500 to fix it though.
And, you know, this car is only like what, 14 years old and 180,000 miles.
It's been a good car.
I drive it very little as you can keep the mileage down on it.
But, you know, I'm seeing more and more of these patterns where Ford or GM or anybody else,
I guess they just decided at some point they're not going to support these vehicles anymore.
Yeah.
They're not that old.
The cut-offs 10 years.
They have to give you, they have to make parts available for 10 years.
After that, they don't and none of them do.
Now, have your dealer check ebaymotors.com.
And you'll be shocked what you'll find there.
There might be a used one.
There may be a brand new one in a box.
But I bet they find one there and that'll save you a lot of money, my friend.
Buying a car that isn't right for how you drive is a mistake.
So let Jerry Reynolds the car pro help you.
Call the car pro show at 1-800-926-7777.
Hey, Robert in Flint, Texas.
Welcome.
What can I do for you, Robert?
Yeah, I've got a 2020 Silverado extended cab LT that I bought brand new.
It's got 35,000 original miles.
Oh, wow.
Never been wet.
And I've also got a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta with 72,000 miles.
It's never been wrecked.
And I want to trade both cars in for one new Equinox.
What's the best dealer to go to?
Where is Flint?
I'm not from I've only lived in the Dallas, Fort Worth area my whole life.
It's just south of Tyler.
Okay, come into the Metroplex and let's get you over to classic Chevrolet.
They're the number one Chevy dealer in America.
Okay.
And talk to Jason Troutman.
Jason Troutman?
Yep.
He's the general manager.
Dear friend of mine, you'll love the guy.
And if you want to call him in advance, it's 817-421-1200.
817-421-1200.
Tell him I sent you.
They'll have the biggest selection in Texas, possibly in the United States.
Okay.
Because I'm looking for a gas-powered one, not a new one.
I'm going to venture to say they'll have 100 of them on the ground.
That's normal.
So you can pick the colors you want.
The whole deal.
And Jason will take amazing care of you.
So there you have it.
Simple deal.
And I promise you he'll make it worth the drive.
And I appreciate the call, Robert.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, my friend.
Remember, coming up right after this next break, we'll be going to our
12 Days of Christmas Car Pro Song.
I have incorporated it into a song thanks to Todd.
Oh, okay.
This started out as a poem.
And then last Saturday, he opened this big trap and says,
you're going to make that a song?
Little did I know what I was getting into.
Yep.
So I've incorporated December to remember from Lexus.
Happy Honda Days.
Toy Audathon.
Subaru share the love.
The Stellantis big finish event.
The accurate season of performance.
The seasons of Audi event.
The BMW Road Home.
Unwrap a Jaguar, which nobody's doing.
Light up the holiday sales event and VW sign and drive.
That's coming right up.

And welcome back to The Car Pro Show.
Jerry Welles, The Car Pro, me, Todd Chambliss.
We had an interesting week or so.
We're talking about this brand new Car Pro Christmas song.
And I think you recounted this pretty well.
You said you had written a poem version,
and you came up with all of the tag lines
of some of the big car manufacturers out there.
And you...
Yeah, someone didn't rhyme very well.
You had to really work, because, you know,
you had to be inventive and do 12 days of Christmas.
Had to be 12 of them and all that fit in that framework.
And you presented it to me, I guess it was a week
and a few days ago, like it was on a Thursday
when we record.
And I said, this is pretty good.
And so we did the show.
And then as you said, opened my big mouth and said,
wow, this would be neat to be a song.
And I thought that was the end of it.
So fast forward to Wednesday of this past week
when I get this long email.
Okay, you're going to hate this,
and this is going to wreck your day.
And well, it took...
Let me be transparent.
It took some time because there was a mixed communication
probably on my part where I couldn't get into
the actual thing you were working on to find this jingle.
And so I actually came up with one of my own.
And as you call it, it's the He-Ha version.
It's a little peppy.
I tried to like it, but you know how it is
when you get this vision and it gets in your head
and you know, that's what you want.
And I was this close.
This is radio, so you can't see it,
but I'm holding my two fingers.
Yeah, really, really close together.
I was this close to having it.
And I couldn't get the ending.
And I said, the subject line of the email I sent you was,
how's your day before I completely wreck it?
And I did.
So I did my version.
I sent it back.
As you said, you tried to like it,
but then you came back within an hour and said,
okay, I had this version in my head.
The one that I had, I want that version to be warm
and ballad and Karen Carpenter feel.
And so through a lot of hacking, basically,
into your account, and now I have all your passwords.
He has every password I have.
Every swinging password I've got.
He can get in my bank account the whole day.
You know, I'm not going to do that.
Well, we finally got it all figured out,
put together, and really it's a neat little labor of love.
It is.
It's fun.
I hope that you'll enjoy it.
I hope so.

merry christmas from the car pro show
well i hope you enjoyed that if you would like a copy of it
it will be in monday's free weekly newsletter and you can subscribe today and you will get it
yesterday's in your inbox and the top click story yesterday
and vice column that i wrote and i've been intending to write this for a long time
and honestly i just hadn't felt like diving into it because it's a complicated issue
and its title is why your car's mpg readout is seldom correct
yeah back in the day you used to have to do the fancy map for it and now supposedly
you've got a display that shows you what you're getting yeah and people take it as the gospel
it's just like getting on the internet you know it's on the internet it must be well it must be
true sure and i know my car that i love wouldn't lie to me of course not yeah i will
yeah it will and it can lie either way it could be better or worse the the actual fuel
mileage could be better or worse than what it's showing you on the dash yeah so i finally got
into it all and i explained it so y'all loved that you clicked on that the most number one
number one my video was number two the toyota engine recall for tundra and sequoia
the 3.5 non hybrid twin turbo engines a hundred thousand of them were being replaced there's another
hundred thousand coming at us so if you've got one of those you need to know about that
it's a full replace too yeah it's full replace wow 2026 hunday palisade calligraphy i had last week
the hybrid version yep you love that too that's a good car all that was there yesterday including
todd's video that didn't come anywhere close you don't need advice to buy the wrong car
but you can get free advice about what car is right for you call the car pro show at 1-800-926-7777
every single week we on the car pro show have a car pro classic car of the week and it's on our
facebook page easily found if you go to car pro dot com you go to the bottom there's a link to our
facebook page go there and check out the key the current one we have boy it's a beautiful
classic car guess the correct year making model you'll be amongst those who will be in the
i guess a big hat that will draw from on monday for you vary on auto heat shield that's good for
really the entire year not just the summertime yeah boy it's a nice one you can bring that heat
in when the winter's out there you can keep the heat out during the summertime again
all starts on our facebook page the link at car pro dot com there you go and let's talk to
robert in los angeles robert what's happening hey good morning jerry thanks for taking my call
you bet buddy we're gonna help you with trying to see if i can get a car that's gonna be suitable
suitable for him he's 18 he's been driving for a year he's driving a used 2017 ram truck single
cap yeah and uh he's okay with driving but uh that car is giving a lot of issues and the
the amount of money i spend on repairs is going sky high but a new car but something compact
that's suitable for a teenage boy at 18 and just in case if you get into some fender benders
also uh i don't break it well i tell you what i typically recommend for young drivers
is the Subaru products because of their safety system the biggest problem with kids
and and you know 16 to 20 years old is distraction it's huge it's the number one killer of young
drivers because there's so much going on in a car especially if they've got other kids in the
car and they've got their cell phone and they get a text and they know they're not supposed to look at
that text but guess what the curiosity gets to them and they pick up their phone and they take
their eyes off the road and they read their text they'll tell you it don't happen but it happens
so what the eyesight system does from Subaru is it will bring the car to a complete stop
without them even looking and it's a good lesson for them because the first time that happens
they're so freaking surprised that you know they don't want they don't want that to happen again
but i it has literally saved listeners lives of mine through the years that i've recommended that
and it's a game changer i think the cross track would be perfect for him it's a compact SUV
it's all-wheel drive not that he needs it but it's there and it comes standard with the
uh eyesight system and i don't think i i'm telling you the way i'd put it
if i had a kid driving today and he was within the first five years of him driving and i was
getting the car it'd be a Subaru okay that's a very good suggestion i really appreciate it
thank you very much you are welcome my friend and i hope you and your family have a wonderful
wonderful thanksgiving and everybody stays safe and healthy and all that i don't know
what part of uh LA you're in but i have a great dealer in Santa Ana uh Subaru Orange Coast
gentlemen their name Jim Parsons if you'll talk to him he'll take good care of you and look
if you want to go with a one or two year old
Subaru it's just as good and will save you some money uh so i would think about that as well and
you might even look at lisi just to get that cheapest payment because probably at 18 he's not
going to put a ton of miles on the car so a lot of choices there jim could help walk you through
that or you can go to carpro.com on my faq page there's a leasing section look at that and see what
you think happy thanksgiving to you my friend if you're buying your first truck or suv let jerry
Reynolds the carpro help you call the carpro show at 1-800-926-7777
it's that point the show we talk about happy listeners folks who have taken jerry's advice
on the best way to get a brand new car and some great stories a couple from houston this
is kind of interesting first of all uh we got a fred has toyota world there in houston where ryan
bullock is the carpro contact and mark was looking for a rav4 sent a request in for uh information
sunday afternoon within an hour ryan called him back on sunday made an appointment for monday
10 in the morning when uh mark got there the two cars he wanted were out front and ready to be
driven and uh that that seems to be a common theme and that happened to me too when we were
looking for the bronco they had the the bronco out there ready to go and all fired up and we just
