So it's been a it's been a couple of weeks for me having the frickin best time
of my life. I got my E46 M3 and I immediately got after it and it's been
fun it's been good and I'm gonna have you more time I just finish up my my
business course I just finished that and I'll talk a little bit about what I'm
playing in here I'm going into full car collector mode but a big announcement
we're gonna announce on the OG channel but I'll tell you guys here I woke up
the other day in like 3 a.m. and I said I've got it you know I got the car
capsule outside I've got the trailer outside but you know that's not ideal
for the summer coming here because it's really frickin hot out there I don't put
and I'm going to put in three PL 6000 DC's those are parking lifts from
BendPak and and so I'm gonna be able to fit six cars so picture the on the left
on the left side if you're looking at the Levrack on the left side is the
sonic array on the right side is the garage door and so one two three lifts
will go between you know from say left to right from front to back you know
facing in towards the scissor lift and to post it's gonna be sick so I'll have
the ability to fit six cars there and then I can still fit four or five cars
in the other section I'm not losing any space there and then that'll kind of
lead into come you know maybe fall we'll build the wash bay the indoor wash bay
and the outdoor wash base we'll kind of get rolling on that but I'm pretty
pumped about about how that's gonna look feel and all my cars are gonna be
there and luck should have it I have two cars at home I have five cars here but I
have six parking lifts so I got some space the two things I've been looking
for the 46 is happening fast I've got that thing pretty well dialed I'm doing
oh the other thing I'm gonna do is Matt Rutledge and I were working on this
yesterday there's this company makes a two-post portable lift but doesn't lift
very high it only lifts like 60 inches high and then you'd be like having to
crouch down to do dry ice cleaning I want to go to dry ice in the in the
parking lot or underneath in my wash bay so I'm gonna get a HD 7W from Bend
pack a four-post wide which weighs the exact same amount as the narrow as the
regular it lifts to 86 and a half inches so it can lift really really high you
don't need a bolt down a four-post so it has casters or wheels that you can put
it on so I'm gonna move that thing around in the parking lot and move it in and
out of the wash bay when needed so that way I can do the dirty stuff outside and
keep my cars under up you know the the underside and that the engine bay and
everything just totally dialed all the time it's gonna be sick so I've been
looking for a 1M and I've been looking for a EK9 I just don't want right hand
drive but that like Civic DX hatch is no no good I I did find my Civic SI and
asked the guy if he'd sell it to me he said no he's keeping it forever so it's
an attorney bought it and he says you know this is I'll let you know if I
want to sell it but I don't want to sell it so anyway let's see what you got
here Steven says what's the best way to polish your car over the course of a
few days if it stays in the garage you just wipe down with eraser before
starting on the new day yeah I mean unless you're in some particularly sandy
or dirty or you have a massive amount of pollen you probably don't even need to
wipe it down just keep the door closed you know maybe throw a you know throw a
sheet of plastic over something like the you know light painters plastic you
know but yeah you can just wipe down each panel just treat each panel separately
and that's all I do it and then just wipe it down let's see so yeah no problem
for you Steven JBI shop 98 says Matt any recommendation on ceramic coating for
matte carbon fiber I probably just coat it in the normal stuff CSLXO I mean same
thing with matte wheels usually just use new normal use a normal coating you
don't have to worry about it as much the only disadvantage is you can't like
polish it off later but really shouldn't matter it'll soak it up and I would just
use the same coating that you're using on your paint and trim Brian's car stuff
Anthony at the right company sounded disappointed you weren't at TST or CMA to
try out the new gun and foam cannon the others seem to like it no they're that's
things junk I told them it's junk there's no business making that I don't
know anything about that stuff but for their audience it makes sense but yeah

GT4S the bus driving Porsche you ever owned I mean I need more time with it
but I think yes it's it's pretty freaking awesome I only drove it once so
give me a little more time but yeah it's it's everything I wanted it to be I
loved my GT4 but you know we took the GT4 to the mountains and I just kind of
went around the same roads over and over again I was there and the GT4 was
kind of a let down in comparison to the GT3RS in the mountains and just doesn't
have the same kind of appeal to me and so I sold it and but I love the way that a
GT4 feels you know the mid-engine it just feels right to me let's see where
were we e46 is looking killer yeah it's um it's pretty nice I mean it's I'm
making it really nice it was it was a nice car it was a good I said in the
video that I'm shooting I'm actually rendering a video right now for Matt
Mormon channel so we put up the introduction on the obsessed garage and
then we'll put the I'm doing more long form just sharing with you all the
things I'm doing to it but I'm literally like somewhere between an average of
six hours a day for the last two weeks up to 12 so over the weekend I was here
you know 10 hours Saturday 10 hours Sunday the past two weekends just playing
with it figuring out what I need fix and paint polishing it cleaning it I've got
it all put back together now I ordered all every basically every underbody
panel plastic like the fender liners and all that stuff I got all kinds of new
like frame braces and stuff from rogue engineering I've got a new strut tower
brace and stiffener from slon out of Moscow I decided it go all in on it so
I just added it up this is why you know when I do a car it's it's freaking
expensive but it's why I didn't buy a hundred and thirty thousand dollar car
because I'm a hundred and thirty thousand in buying all the crap I needed to buy
the brakes this the suspension I did order all in CTX anyway I don't want to
spoil it for you but I've got the car is is coming together and it's looking
really nice if it comes together the way I think and if I like it the way that I
think then I'll probably repaint it but the paint is better than good it's like
for a fifty thousand mile you know 20 year old car it's it's it's like for most
people it would be perfection for me you know it's got some some stuff that I
would want to fix and make amazing but I think those little imperfections gonna
make me like the car even more in many ways I like my LeBons that had been
repainted a bunch more than this because more than my Interlagos in any two M3

765 you'd want the 880 and yeah any word on when Swiss tracks is going on sale
mmm I don't know of anything but yeah I'm not sure

prices I don't really have a take you know it seems pretty clear to me that
you know Trump's goal in this kind of stuff is like look you just got to rip
off the bandaid and get this thing fixed and deal with the short-term pain in
order to just get this out of the way I mean from what I understand we've kind
of created Iran and installed that regime you know what 30 years ago the CIA did
that and so it's like our problem that they kind of have to fix but I don't
freaking give a crap I mean it's short term because we have tons of oil here
and so you know it makes sense to me what he's saying is like you know we're
not going to deal with this straight because other I mean we don't need that
oil we got our own oil and so I think that prices will come down pretty swiftly
here and they're not too distant future but I I keep my head down and I'm aware
but I'm unattached to any outcome I'm beyond draft age my son's a little too
young so don't worry about it too much yet let's see any update or timeline on
the closet solution and powder-coated garage tracks and rails I'm abandoning
the closets sorry I'm out I'm done I'm the garage guy it's taking me a long time
to get here I feel sad because there isn't a quality solution that exists
that I found but when we do the design studio which you know the balls in the
villages court I'm doing just the garage whatever it takes be the best in the
world at one thing and so it's gonna be the garage period so so that means I
should give us more time to get the garage tracks and stuff like that done
so we're launching the wash station here the high-flow wash station and once we
get through that then we can start adding that you know next round of products
like the the jacking pad for the Swiss tracks and stuff like that Matt will
ever be a GT2 RS in the collection I think so I think someday maybe I'm just
not in the position maybe that would change it's the same way with watches
or there's like a certain threshold of comfort for me and so the sub hundred
thousand dollar you know for the the cost of the car range seems to work for me
and then once you get into you know so the sub thirty thousand dollar range for
watches you know really it's sub twenty thousand dollar range is where I feel
comfortable maybe that would change if we get to this operation I just made a
video for inside the hex operational and financial excellence the pursuit
there so maybe if we if we nail that down and and we you know we we we're
still grow we're growing substantially but very efficiently maybe that would
change I'm sure it would but I mean there's a lot of other cars I would want

was hurting man I always had to push really hard I think I only made like a
721 or something or 717 I think is what it averaged out to be for 2 miles and
then a three-quarter mile you know at a conversational pace back today I ran a
3.75 or 3 point was it yet 3.75 mile which was just a steady run it I think I
ran an average like 825 or something like that I was supposed to be at a
conversational pace Sunday after runs six and a half it's past Saturday I ran a
six and a half which is a progression run those are really hard where you I
started it like it was a 8 minute 737 minute and that was hard and I don't
think I made it I ran the whole thing but I ran out I couldn't hit those those
targets I was probably 20 seconds 15 seconds off of that but I run in
Socconee Socconee I think it is ride 18 I have like eight pairs of them so the
goal would be mid to late July to run a sub 25k and I'm gonna do it have you
tried the new Rupees polish that pairs with white pads I'm pretty sure I have
but I don't think it's great if that's the one you're talking about I forget
what it is they're finishing polish six or four Brando hey Matt how do you think
your life would have been if you ended up staying in wealth management man it

meet with these not that I know of I don't think there's any consideration here active 3.0 versus
ar635 the active I mean I have it I need to test it I'm sure it performs okay but it's just that
so cheap looking they just skimped on design I just don't like it it looks great from like
10 feet away but when you're like anywhere near it you see like weird screws positioning like
cheap weird spots and the the pump head looks like it's like it just you know and it just looks like
they threw some some brass in a pile and sort of buttered knifed it together it's best way I can

I'm kind of done testing pressure washers I've tested a hundred of them so I'm not really looking

edition of the 635 here this summer which is going to be a billion dollars and carbon fiber
and be awesome looking stainless polished stainless steel probably be 30,000 bucks I don't know
but I'm you know concentrated on I think that the new max flow stuff is the way
and because they're doing new stuff and I think that the AR Krenzla I hope Krenzla
I think you're gonna have to feel some pain first but I hope Krenzla wakes up

wash interior you know maintenance watch when not filming do you find yourself coming back the next
day to wipe any water runs my wash probably takes like an hour and 10 minutes if I was doing the
interior as well just like normal maintenance if I'm not using the camera but then I'm usually
piddling around so it's usually a two hour or never in the ordeal but if I'm moving you know
an hour ish hour and 10 some between 50 and an hour and 10 and I don't ever have leftover water runs
because I blow everything out you know really robustly and if I did I mean I'm using the ionized
water so it really wouldn't matter it would just dry up you know without any spotting

three weekend cars and two dailies like Bronco 4 or Tesla a good ratio I think would be one daily
