part of the world which we know is the Western Australia, mr.
Adam made explored how hard I'm crossing?
All. More accuracy across the little
boys. How you?
How you got out of bed, goodnight your cell phone, I'm doing. Well, not too much Corona, free
still. Well, I'd like to say that you
could join the club but I so I copped it.
I am officially out of lockdown. Now had my week of watching
Netflix and doing nothing and they're not watching narcos which was actually kind of pretty good.
Mac is awesome. Yeah and I was going to say well
LM you got a you got a bit of a the same beard as as Pablo, Pablo. Yeah.
Yeah. Dress for the job.
You want drug billionaire, mr. Gold chain that gold shade and
missing a 9-millimeter in your back pocket, but that was it was good. It was it was good but I've
recovered now like I'm fully recovered.
Now I'm going to go, I'm running a marathon at the end of the year and my training stole over the last two, and a bit weeks, because of because of this, and it's made me feel constantly coughing and I've kind of lost my how would you explain my will to live? It's a live.
That's a pretty good night. So we open the borders since
last We spoke. That was the big divide between
you guys and US was we had a big lock down and kept all the sick taureans out. Yeah, I think two or three days
after we open the borders, we just got swamped when it smashed with Grandeur cases. Say, at the start of this year,
we had a total of nine people died from Grana and as of today, it's 215 West Australians which is pretty, pretty sad, really when you think about it. But yeah, we could only The
Border shop for so long. Yeah, it was starting to become
a issue in you can only spend so much time.
Just around, Western Australians, you know, the buffer, it a little bit to be fair, though, like, you know, you guys did very well in the end, like, you know, we didn't have to do with a busily lockdowns.
We had to do, didn't have to do all that sort of stuff, so, you got no. Now, we had masks for a little
while when they open the borders and that was weird for us because we never Did the masks in 2020 or 2021 it was to 2022 that we had a mask mandate but yeah, everyone seemed to play the game. So yeah, not too many psychos or
Farrell's or whatever else going on.
So we're pretty lucky it's good to see you're doing well mate.
Yeah I mean after two years of me dodging and weaving it and it was like I was expecting to get it in term 1 of this year.
But most to get halfway through term to so I will happily happily take that on. I'm excited to the guys at work.
I could have had it two or three times and never fucking know man. What were they saying?
In the start, you can get quite a few drink VB and then, that's yeah, virus beta. But it's good to have you
onboard night. It is a kickback.
So we are we are live on Facebook.
If you do any any things and sorry, any questions or comments? You wanted to ask, you can put
them through in the comments Below on this, on the live feed here on the the Facebook's. And but Alan, how are you doing,
man? What's happening with you?
I am. Well, I thought I was doing okay
just today, I have had a couple situations where my voice is kind of gone a little bit and yeah, feel a bit worried.
I've got a little box of write tests here so I'm probably going to end up doing that after this. After sure.
Maybe I'll do it ordering, the sure, whatever, do it live.
Yeah. As you have covered or not, you
know, playing the game because we can for money betting.
Man. I remember a certain HSP if
someone didn't get a Trixie. Yes, it's back.
Correct. I was reminiscent when you guys
had your 400 episode three or four episodes back, now brought up a lot of old things, the LTD song, always remember that.
Yeah, I dreams carrying on about whether it's a Supercar or not and then shal the potential. He needs to understand that.
What is deemed a Supercar, is well, a Supercar, but made it to the new title intro music, right?
It did, I think you need to get into that an editor and make it like you're talking about. Now, you Falcon and him try to
argue that. It's not a Supercar.
Well, I mean, we do mention it. That, that Perfection comes into
letters a and you, you know, there's there's a reason why.
It stands for gold. Love it.
Absolutely love it. I love well, what will you do
with yourself? A new item know what's happening
in your car? Lawmakers feel awesome.
Yes, the festival. When we last spoke, the motor
had been the motive popped and and you were like okay what do I do now? So what does that?
Because I see it in the background it looks to be all there. Yeah it's got another motor in
it. I bought another Festiva for 300
bucks, the four-door version of it.
So that was twice. What I paid for this.
One because that yeah, yank the motor out while I had the motor out, I pulled the gearbox apart and welded the definite.
So that's interesting. And I think there's too many
other front-wheel-drive cars that have a world of death.
So, makes it interesting to drive.
I'll put it that way because there's no power steering or anything in it. So, yeah.
So motor swap, I bought a supercharger for it, but it's actually sitting on the desk in front of me.
I haven't managed to put that on.
I The I am are 500 eBay, 300 dollar job.
So I've got air con brackets that I can mount it into.
So, that'll go on at some point. I'm just, I haven't quite
decided whether I'm going to put the supercharging front of the cabbie, or behind the car be. So that's, that's where I'm at
with that at the moment. But now she still runs.
Give rise to the few times. I actually got to race it at the
Motorplex in Perth, which is where I drag strip and everything else is so out in the Speedway track, they set up some cones and we get a few laps around there which was pretty crazy. The big problem there was just
after our world with the DF and went out, there didn't twig that the pits and the scrutineering sheds and everything are all on concrete bitumen. So I was doing 20-point terms
everywhere to try and get the car to turn around because the look definite, so yeah. But now that's all good.
Thanks. Same old, same old still, got no
indicators on it, so I don't drive it all that often, took it to work and back for my birthday last month.
That was pretty cool, but put it in the shed with all the Lamborghinis and Ferraris and then this ratty old thing packed in the middle of, it was kind of funny, got in trouble with following day because it left a bit of an oil patch.
So the get out there with the Degreaser and give it a bit of clean, but still good fun until the had not met its It's you're leaking horsepower. It's fine.
It's all, that's it. That's it.
Yeah, yeah. It's all good.
What else are the Mercedes? So hit a get another fucking
kangaroo with the society. So that makes eight this year.
So bit, the bullet went down to the Ford wreckers in Bayswater and bought a bull bar for an AE Falcon and made it fit the W 2o 3. So it's the only Mercedes with
Aruba on the front of it. It's gonna be one of the only
ones ever and puppy. The only dad is right.
Yeah, yeah. Go kicked off the Australian,
Mercedes Facebook page to put pictures of it up.
Well, let's say yeah yeah. But I got very upset about it
saying it's illegal because the it wasn't just went for that car but bolt straight up. You know how they said that
Mercedes stole a is headlights. I think.
Stole the whole front end, because V up perfect.
It's like it's weightless and fits.
They must equip, you know, should head back there?
Tell them to let you back in. Yeah, I should but I am not
two-faced about the Mercedes Club, really?
Yeah. And then the gate still doing
new things. Hasn't missed a beat been pretty
lucky not to get any more yellow stickers on that one for a while. Now, which is good, they come in
a mile. Dad.
Probably they are the the officer returns of mr.
Anthony Falcao is bad, boys. Just just got you on speaker at
the moment on the way, back from boss, couple.
So hopefully, the noise isn't very bad.
Now you're out, man, that's totally fine.
And how are you Anthony? What's happening with you, man?
Yeah, not too bad. Might just plodding along but
Adam you keep going because I'm interrupting at the moment.
Gonna come back to me when you're done talkin about here.
Yeah, you front end. Police officer interrupting me.
That's a first. I'm actually not exactly.
He can't talk at the same time. I've heard that before too.
It's true. Total Global moral of the story
is just pop it on the chin and They're trying to find a big deal. Yeah, you end up losing?
Yeah, police officers will always work, right?
Yes, please. I could disagree with you and we
could both be wrong, but yeah, but you'll be more wrong people wrong. Yes, that's good, that's good
night, it's good Alum. How you doing?
Sorry, I updates carpets with you man on your end.
What's happening with your vehicle's?
The Euler casserole, roughly the same looking forward to going to Subaru cameras, launches a new WRX.
It was so what is that? Is that there's I think it's
Thursday night or Tuesday night and they decide to invite me.
I thought, why not? Okay, I'll hum inherit the car.
If they, let me test drive it on test, drive it and then I'll say now my is better and walk away but it'll be it'll be good opportunity to at least check out the car.
In the flesh. But Allah says, we floated the
idea of possibly keeping the Str little more sa say it, a fun drive car. So I would need something as a
replacement of as a daily and since I was already looking at GTs for my sister and she wanted to go for.
I thought, what if I just got to go far and just rub that in my face? So, like a Mach 6, someone's
considering a few and I could be a reasonable day.
Ali, I think, but I'm open to anything as long as it's fun.
That's the most important thing. I think I found a lie.
Yeah. There's like you need now.
You think I can? I think I would be would be a
great idea if I can have it with a manual transmission and a welded if yeah. Yeah.
And even if you really want to go to farm over there and turn into a convertible for you to soft-top, are you So, you do that. And then you also be the one
pulling me over and effect by putting a sticker like.
Yeah. Like, but you did this.
This is what the operation time. It's like that all tripe with
the broken taillight, he hit the ground police brutality.
Anthony Boy Scout stuff on the front.
No, real new new adventures, yet any updates with getting the territory Turbo with more boost. Look at the, the savings is
building. I have been Have been building
that that OT fund the moment in my current department.
So things are in the works. There has been a withdrawal from
said fun due to purchase of a dog.
Oh so I mean I think that's a valid trade off.
But other than that one there, the next thing will be obviously the Terry Awards. Yeah but again no no real car
updates just yeah, driving them as normal nothing's broken so I can't complain. Actually one little bits and
pieces on the Terry. So, the around the roof turrets,
there's been some paint bubbling and going south on both drivers and passenger side. So, I thought I would do some
inquiries about getting that respray and redone and also getting the roof redone too, because again, there's a couple little bits and pieces, at the end of the day, the roof gets the most amount of sun damage. Image 2.
Yeah, so not exactly the cheapest amount.
But again, given it is the Terry and there's no plans on moving you don't anytime soon as money towards it that I guess feels like it's valid. At least that's what I tell
myself, you know. But yeah, you still looking at
like 1,200 bucks for it. So it's yeah, definitely not the
cheapest thing but definitely could be much worse.
It'll make it look a lot better. Oh yeah, yeah, there's no Daddy
Mom on and it. Be going to be hates better.
Once everything's said and done with it but yeah, that's probably bad. As easy as it interesting and
exciting. The the charity gets the moment
other than filling up with a hundred and fifteen dollars worth of fuel to get me. Where are you 440 case?
Well, it could be worse. You could be running, E85 and
getting like 150 case from from them, from the much money.
I drove the tank to work and back from a birthday and that was $80 worth of fuel. Yeah.
Yeah, yeah. It's ridiculous.
It's ridiculous. But yeah, other than that boy is
the same old stuff, really, still working away in the lovely. moment that I am and Right on your sarcastic at all.
Revenue-raising. As some would say pay for your
territory, others would say yeah, right.
No jokes. If there was a 1% fucking
commission that I had, I would have a territory done said and done a long time ago sounds like a great idea.
You know County Commission staff offices will writing tickets.
Hey hey I am promoting Road Safety.
Thank you very much. Sounds like a rule.
Hey go down enough to do 45k is over that's on you.
Yeah like no I agree. If your If you do that kind of
stuff and being caught by, you know, an actual cop, you kind of deserve it. Yeah.
It's okay. Our isn't fast enough to outrun
them then. Yeah.
Yeah. Well look when we're in x5's and
by 30 days it's a little bit more challenging to get away from. I have here in Canberra, not
seen a single like, I guess Chase style car or however shocker having said that because camera soldiers Circles, they did stop. And why is he to come back
around right? They just all they have is the
Subaru XV these. Yeah well I can I can outrun
that easily but not that I tried not that I tried but yeah just makes you think is there a you know, it says, the AFP actually have a kind of chased division na nana.
IFA is not not interested in how I stuff.
So they just call the New South Wales highway patrol.
Is it like jurisdiction issue? Not I?
So like in my instance, I can be sworn in as a special special constable and basically be working in New South Wales or South Australia, for any sort of Border related stuff.
That's in vic. If somebody goes and crosses the
border that I can go and still deal with them.
That's pretty good. So let's just say hypothetically
speaking, I was hypothetically speaking, of course speeding in New South Wales. Yeah, and this is like somewhere
in Albury. Yep.
And cross the border. You got away with a cross the
border, like, as the New South Wales, Highway Patrol, get to come after me, or do they have to ring one of you guys but do not write. They thinking college senior as
they making the phone call saying quick.
Yeah. Definitely obviously before it
over there to begin with because obviously the grounds for it.
Yeah, it'd be basically brought back over to Victoria and the scream of back over the board of them extradited, but it depends on what's going on. There's too many different, you
know, two major variables that come into it.
I'm just I'm just picturing like getting chased from from Victoria to in the South and as soon as you hit like like the new south of Welcome to do something else, I'd like the police had just slammed on the brakes, it comes to a halt and then he just like, you know, take a step
over and then all of a sudden my uniform walls from Victoria, it's New South Wales. I've got you now.
I always remember. I used to go when I was living
in Sydney used to get in the camera for some minutes and got done by a camera. This is the early days, the
cameras and copter fine and just never paid it and then got a letter saying you're no longer welcome in Canberra.
Yeah. Have you been back since not
really? There's no other feeling this
left. There's not a lot to do.
Yeah, I don't know if some of that.
So I'm not really too concerned about coming to Camp.
Oh really? I mean, you can see I'm famous
politician mr. Mr. Allen deep seeing who's is
doing big things in the in the political world.
But I also ask you gentlemen, in terms of like for example, moving forward with like with cars and everything and everything that's going on in obviously we're we've got we've come to a point where cars are just like ridiculously fast me.
Like I went in a Modified Audi, RS3.
The other day yesterday, actually and it has like a stage 69 bullshit tune and all that. And all these things that you
know, that come with it was like a three second card or a hundred and he really launched it and it was it was Bloody quick or I'll get us, pull you up on that. But that's a big graph of mine,
especially in these days of Tesla's fast and quick.
He's two different things. Yeah, yeah, I completely agree.
You can be fast without being quick, and vice versa.
Absolutely, like, I completely agree with you there.
Like, like this thing was missing as fast and quick.
I just kept pulling like, like, like all the all the way, you know, well, over the speed limit in Mexico, but I was gonna ask you guys. Do you think that with, I mean,
obviously, we've reached, I think.
Yeah, ultimate combustion. If they make sense with all
these new restrictions and things coming into play, With everyone's, you got to go, you got to go green or eat, or in.
Let's go EV powered by by 2030 all these mandates, and Europe, and stuff, would, especially with the new marketing, whatever, what's coming in, like all these electric cars that are they're about to hit the market and that I, they coming in cheaper and cheaper and cheaper every day.
It's gonna get to a point where I think that petrol cars are going to be so expensive to run with, because particularly, because I'm going to keep checking Your blood cell because there's gonna be a lot more Evie's on the road.
Do you think that will be when you guys make the change to EV?
Or do you reckon? You guys will be, will be Still
rocking a combustion engine even if it's like $3 or L?
I think I would do both so lucky for the daily.
I think there's that have to be a cap of petrol like this.
Going to be a point where making your own skin to be cheaper.
Yeah. Having you field of Corn and
making your corn juice is going to be easier.
But I mean, we know what's happening.
It's going to be exactly the same as when they converted from horses to cars, right? It's going to be the same thing.
So rather than petrol cars being every person's thing, it's just going to be the Enthusiast things like horses are.
Now the people still have horses, they can still technically take them out in the road.
I mean, not all the roads but they can still take them out.
I think it just be the same I'm kind of thing.
Yeah, I'd agree with that. Again, same situation would be
easy for you daily, which even of once the petrol price and i stuff for it, like two dollars twenty I was considering whether I just feel like screwed, getting novated, Leasing and getting EV is the daily car, and then some of the territory is a once in a blue moon and the crown in the same situation at things because it's just no longer becomes financially viable. So unfortunately driver
combustion, vehicle Yeah. And we were having this this big
shift from working at a place to working from home.
You know the last couple years of proven and work from home is a viable think. So a daily may not be a
necessity word in Australia were to spread out to have public transport to cover everything, you know, as much as we have now, it's Everything is going to move out and once they divest from cities and cities no longer become a real necessity, and everyone's working from home, I think Dale.
He's not going to be as much of a requirement.
So, just having your fun car for going and doing the shopping once a week or just going out and having fun.
It's viable. Even if the petrol is five bucks
later. Yes, it's just, it's just, it's
kind of this kind of Because like, you know, like every car company is pretty much coming coming out with hybrids or what with the yeah, but this saying that, I mean Tesla's, set the precedent, right? You just say, whatever makes
people happy and then three years down the track.
You roll it back on page, 5, where no one's ever going to read it and no one fucking cares.
It's just the same thing that all these companies that are going. Yeah, we go and green, getting
all the Press at the headlines. And then, just Let it fall over
later on and no one will remember, you know, like them saying in 10 years time, we're going to be fully electric.
No One's Gonna remember that. 10 years time that they said it
today. Yeah.
I personally, I'm looking forward to some things like that, the whole self driving cars and getting people out of cars that don't like cars is going to be a fantastic thing.
You know, when you've got cars that are driven by computers and the predictable, I can't wait to be out in this thing, just weaving through them. Knowing exactly what they're
going to do, where they're going to go and just go out and have fun. Yeah, it's the best of both
worlds. Those people that just see cars
as transport and a to be and hey, Driving don't have to.
Yeah and people like us that do you admittedly with him?
And I already can, it'll be the best of both.
I'm an optimist sir, I do definitely have to agree with them there that it's the kind of increase in electrified cars over in the industry and the Adventist self-driving.
It's probably going to benefit at least the car enthusiasts more because we're still gonna be able to do the things we want. Again, they'll be lower.
And for petrol. Overall, I think the cost won't
goes that significantly higher. It will probably still be are
going to probably be shown what it is today, like two dollars later or more, but it won't be like, you know, you're paying $100 later because if nobody wants it, there's also no demand for it. So if everyone's just driving
electric cars, a daily, and a car that drives itself, you know, you can go to your office, everyone's on their phone anyway. Most of the time, as Adam said,
most people are just a to be people that don't care that, you know, if the car's got 10,000 horsepower or not, they just do they'd rather care about, you know, bro.
Tick-Tock on a red light or doing the makeup or something.
So, self-driving car for that kind of crowd or even, you know, as my parents are aging, they won't be capable of driving rather than them having to wait on taxis and stuff, just hopping in their own car, and getting to where they need to go without worrying about, you know, crashing in in a shopping center or something, that'll be like the ideal thing.
And then, as I'm said, like, you know, instead of horses will have our internal combustion engine vehicles that don't follow the rules. But But we're allowed to use
them in a more, I guess, controlled kind of situation, you know? Yeah.
There's always gonna be race tracks and stuff like that.
So here's an interesting thought just had like, you were talking if the vast majority of people are in self-driving cars, and there's just that odd car enthusiasts drawing by themselves. Do you think the police would
shift their efforts to other things, and there'd be less people policing those You people that are still driving i.c.e.
and driving themselves. Well, that's a great question
for anything. I mean, what would happen there?
Anything that is when he tells you your job, what would that be leading for you? Someone stupid being improper
crimes? Just means no commission for me.
No in all seriousness, though, people still do stupid things regardless. Whether it be automated driving,
or Otherwise, there's always going to be somebody who's behind who's going to be, you know, drug driving drink driving distracted, driving, whatever else it is unlicensed, you know, whatever else they may be. Whether it be in an EV or
whether it be something else, you know?
Once we start getting to, you know, fully automated cars and whatnot, where everything is all controlled, and you know, in place then, you know, if it completely removes the human factor from the driving ability that everything is all automation. Well, then, That would be
obsolete obsolete department, but until that happens, you know, there's always gonna be somebody doing something that's going to be stupid or wrong or illegal and you know, I agree.
I just wondering if they scale you guys down.
Look, I wouldn't I would imagine if it did come to this case where everything is automated and again, removes the human element to it. Then yeah, it'll be a big scale
down. Yeah.
So maybe not everyone but say Eighty-five percent automated, do you think the player isn't still be as big or would they also scale that down and shift you guys to something else?
I'll look here. It's hard to sort of say because
I mean there's still going to be, you know, Road collisions is going to be Road, trauma, caused a, not just the matter of cars.
We deal with, it's also bikes. It's also trucks.
It's also, you know, trams public transport, you know, all those other sorts of things that come into it.
So I mean it's not just a soul. Mode of Transport that we look
into. But yeah, I would expect some
level of scaling down, as to, how much of a percentile that is, is a whole nother story. You know, but, you know, I
wouldn't expect something drastic where it's like, I never going to shave 50% about work crew.
Now down because of automation, it would be, you know, very much. Yes, that would be a political
thing too. Right.
I think there was enough people pushing the And saying, look, we don't need so many people who don't need, so many police on the roads anymore, we need them, you know, looking after domestic violence and break-ins and stuff like that.
Yeah, that's obviously who makes the call on how many people are laid out rather than yeah, like yourself or your immediate boss?
Yeah, because like, I don't think there's ever been a time where you could argue that, please have been over a sourced to help with every single sort of crime.
And so having less of a burden on them, in terms of at least Road crime, we'll probably just free up police resources to take care of the other areas that are under server right now.
So that'll probably be, I think overall, be a net benefit to Society at the very least. So, here we go.
Here's another interesting question for you Anthony, if the police Road division is no longer a thing because it's all automated. Do you still think you'd get the
same amount of people signing up?
To be a police officer. Yeah, that's still going to be
the case again not not everybody.
Looks forward to join the job today around cop.
Yeah, I mean it's still going on schools.
They got exactly exactly. I need something so I can pick
on other people and get revenge. No, no, absolutely not.
I don't think it would have really drastic impact on on on recruitment or anything like that because again, Road policing, it's not everybody's cup of tea.
Most people don't like, When people over and giving them tickets, at least for people who I work with, it definitely comes to people who recognize and acknowledge that this is a part of the job. That's also an aspect of it that
we need to enforce and be holding people accountable for just as much as you know, stealing a coffee from the 7-Eleven, you know, the end of the day these people are in you know two-ton death machines and can do some serious damage and probably more damage than you know, making a Kit Kat the couple of comments. First of all, mark Appearances
by God's help, you will help you doing all night.
Bruce England's, like Bruce England and and Rob.
As he's touchy Bruce, yeah, I can find him on YouTube and Tick-Tock and Instagram. He's actually at a photographer
as well. All right, okay, love to after
Employee Services, is easy in your part of the world, or do you see ya? Yeah, he's actually been on the
pot Fields podcast as well. We did an interview with dodgy
Rob says, first first always like no need for cars in the future will have personal drones and Bruce responds with.
Can't do burnouts, what drag races, endurance endurance so that you can do drag races insurance.
There is drone racing. As long as you can line up, you
can do a drag race, maybe that'll be the new police division and there's already drawn division.
Yeah. Are you trying to say pigs would
fly on shit out to the place where we used to serve coffee still. I made that joke once and only
ever once we have flying pigs. So yeah, so basically what we'll
turn that kind of point, you know.
It anyway, some good points, you know, in terms of, in terms of his kind of, I guess you would say where that's going.
But in terms of like, for example, where we stand as a community right now, do you think there is a massive shift?
I put it this way, while speaking with Edward earlier tonight and he was saying, you know, obviously he works with the lad that with all data and stuff and and he said, I'll give you some cars like you know, sedans over 60 Grand between 60 and 100 Grand. So you've got your C-Class
Mercedes, you've got your 3-Series Beemer, you got your A380 Lexus IS and a Tesla Model 3, right?
And he was something like the amount of cars of this.
Each of them have sold this year.
So for example, he was like, it's like how many do you reckon the beam of song being with calling, I think was like 1,000 cars or something. And and Those are like 500 cars.
Mercedes was like a thousand of C classes and Audi was like 150 or something a class. Anyway, he's like to me, guess
how many tears like song in the same the same in the same token and I'm like I'll probably a grand to Granny's eyes like he's like all is like over 3,000 or four or three or four thousand of them. I think he said so hang on hang
on. Hang on.
Wasn't there a lot of controversy about this just recently that the Tesla numbers were incorrect.
Yeah. Well, pulling the wrong data.
That's what I read as well. But this is, this is actually, I
believe inverted. Commas, inverted, commas,
rectified data. All right?
But basically, he said still like, it's showing the shift out. Like, why would you spend 90 K
assert like to 85k on a base on a base, get three series and as soon as you put one thing on it becomes a nineteen ninety thousand dollar car, but he's a king at all, any all that ticket and be be modernized with an EV system in a Tesla.
Of 68 on the road, you know, I mean, yeah, so there's a couple of reasons for that. Like if you lived where I live,
you couldn't get a Tesla. You wouldn't be able to make it
to town and back without having to have it sit for a few hours in charge. Yeah, yeah, you got to remember
wa or well, Australia is a very spread out State and we don't have that infrastructure that we have in America even if there's a great you know, it's still A lot better than what we've got here. Thanks to dieselgate assume.
You guys already know that Volkswagens paid for Electrify America as part of their Penance for the correct dieselgate.
So that's why they've got so many stations little stations.
Although if you listen to Matt Farah from the smoker Tower, the smoking Tire podcast. Every time he goes to an
electrical charging station, he has issues, they never work and that's kind of Because that the companies that make the Tesla of the electrical charges just want to have the numbers.
Yeah, they want to say that we've got 50,000 charges, they don't care. If any seven of them work, they
just want to be able to say that they have that many.
So the back end of it's not very well looked after the infrastructure is an issue and I definitely think that is.
That is very, very confronting and and hard to kind of deal with With being being that that, you know, they're pushing it.
A new technology with the infrastructure is not there and I think that counters and stuff like well we started to read about. This language is the EB guy and
he knows his stuff like the front and he's like he's like yeah it causes of realizing now that they have to pull your finger out otherwise it's just going to be too late.
Yeah, and I'm kind of surprised to know more people, I don't know. I know coming across this, the
Tesla hater, but I mean, I'm an electrician by trade and I driven quite a few Tesla's now with my new job.
Yeah, I I can't see why like a load of tourist towns, don't really invest in it. Yeah, okay.
The Tesla guys. Yeah, they're very close-knit
community. And they, yeah, they begging for
some way, to go for a day, or a day trip.
Yeah. So if you had a winery and you
put in a Tesla charger or a couple of them that all be out there, it's a, I think, as a tourist destination putting that in would be a big thing. All, I could be wrong.
No, no I think that I think having dedicated zones for that would be would be would be a really really good thing.
I mean like I do a lot of places here like in in the great nation that is that is Victoria Victoria Victoria.
You know, like it's a republic of Dagestan.
All right. Main ones, you know that like
Tesla Supercharger supplement, the white Tesla has to be like anyone can go there in the Tesla ones always seem to work from what I read don't know, hang on. You can only take Tesla's to
Tesla charges in the EU. It's different because they
mandated that they have to let everyone use it.
Not here. Well, from what Riza to me?
He's like he's like well that's and they want everybody.
Everybody can use it. If you have, you download the
Tesla up and that way they can promote their Sales of products while you charge your car at a given us on a Tesla Tesla car supercharged, what the see, the research on that because the physical plugs are quite different as well as the current that come out of him. My work we have a high-voltage
charger that's a universal and a Tesla charge and the reason we have the two separate ones is because the Tesla's we're only going the Tesla charger. Nothing else will.
Okay. Well that's That's really
straight off the spa after our sus, there were you look good?
Because I've had a few European, a few different like varying varying things. It'd be interesting to see
obviously, he's he's perspective, but I mean, it's a smart way for Tesla to get to get more, I guess more branding and more and more more sales by saying you want.
You want to charge you? Yeah, you can charge but you got
to, you got to use our, our Network to do it.
And if you do it, we're going to say, I'll look you can buy this model model wife or for this Ice today, you know, and then try and try to suck him in that way. It's kind of subliminal
subliminal messaging as as they. Yeah, it's a USP unique selling
point. So yeah, if you, if you want to
use the network, you have to borrow one of their cars.
Yeah, I mean if you guys are going to go electric, oh can I go on my hot? Swapping rent again.
So we did a whole episode of this in it.
Didn't do very well in my car. So I might as well tell you all
one down as well. My grand plan, my vision was to
convert petrol, stations into hot swaps.
So if you've ever seen, how you pull a battery out of a Tesla, it's the whole floor pan with about 100 bolts, all the way around it. You take them all the way out
and the, the batteries actually on a prong.
So, just like pushing into a PowerPoint on the wall.
He's got two prongs the positive and negative that slide in and out. So I think Tesla at the early
stages, we're considering hot swapping.
In fact, there's a whole web, holy go down or out where they tried to do a hot swap thing and it failed in front of all the media. But anyway, it's the batteries
were able to quick disconnect and drop out of the bottom.
So, imagine you've got a decommission petrol station, so you've pulled the tanks out of the ground.
And you've got this, dirty, big hole where all the fuel?
Used to be in that hole. You build later racks that are
automated that carry, all these batteries and then you drive your car onto the top of it, it pulls the battery out from underneath and put another one in.
Okay, so that's the concept of hot swapping.
So it's as quick, if not quicker than filling your car with petrol at the moment. Now with that when they're
pulled the batteries out, they'll put them on the rack and start charging and right. If you've only got Yeah, at the
moment you've sometimes you really got 20 bucks to put into the car, you can afford a whole new tank, a full tank.
You can say, right? I just want 20 bucks worth of
battery and you get a battery that's only half charge, just like you've got the different ranges of fuel.
Your top end, your high-end stuff, your premium would be a brand new battery where and be cheaper to buy a battery has been in surface for three or four years as just whatever they've got on the rack and you can You can choose.
Yeah, this could be automated from your phone, just like the Tesla Network. So you drive on you, open up the
app. It tells you what batteries are
in the hole and you can pick which one you want.
You make the payment on your phone.
Yeah you stay in the car the whole time.
It just tears the battery out from these put the other one in means that all these petrol stations are becoming but will become obsolete once we go to Electric, get a new lease of life. You know the holes are already
there they're just going to dig Get the tanks and put in the racks. Well, I like that concept.
I just I just think I think the the issue with that concept is is like you were mentioning before.
It's like are really, really good enough to get me like just ten dollars worth of fuel or two nails with a charge and it's you know that kind of logistically would be a little bit harder but the whole idea of hot swapping was especially great idea.
It's what you do with RC cars, right?
Yeah, great. Issue with RC cars?
Well, I mean the good thing about us because it is that the source is that they're so small and easy to kind of play with.
You can just use make it happen. Where's where's with these cars?
It's you know it's a bit more work.
It is a bit more work but you've also got to think of how much work it is. At the moment.
Trucks to come out with petrol and load up tanks, and then get out of the tank into it. I mean, it's safer, hot swapping
batteries. He's then transfer and flammable
liquid. And yeah, it doesn't stop there.
You could have a flatbed truck with that same kind of capability in it. So if a car was ever to run flat
out on the nullarbor, you pull up the flatbed truck, pull the car up onto it, let the battery swap thing happen and back it off again and you're good to go. And maybe that's the next
Evolution. If you have hot-swap, is you no
longer go to a service station, when you're getting well, you're getting out, you call one of these.
Flatbed trucks, that has the capability, the hot swap in it, it'd be called the RAC be for Batteries.
Well, you can imagine, like if you're parked outside of work and you call them and the flatbeds got a higher but could just pick your car up, put it on there, swap the battery and put it back where it was without you having to get into the car or anything now. So you haven't stopped working
and your battery's been swapped out while you're working.
Vote for me. I can save the The world, I like
Rd Adam overall, but I think it's got to be probably realistically, a joint effort between the companies that are selling EVs and the government, it would be a government mandate. The way that the batteries
connect would have to be set by the government.
Just like, petrol, Bowser's are now, right?
That was a universal government initiative to make everything standard same with the way cars operate.
You know, if you have a look at the early early, Also I had flavors and all kinds of stuff and I standardized how they operate. It's just we've got to get in
now and standardize. How the batteries connect?
Yeah, and it's like, for that reason.
I think we, I mean, we just got done having a government who had sought, you know, bring a piece of coal into following house a smart. So maybe they'll be some change.
Maybe you think, Albert, he's he's going to bring a battery maybe, but like you said, if you live Further out of town or you live in a more remote area. You'll travel distances are just
massive. Yeah, I think the idea in terms
of Battery Tech and Battery suppliers got to be getting to a point where the majority of people would in that range stop and take a break. Anyway, so I'd say as just a
ballpark figure, a range of 1,000 case you be able to capture. Most people to say this car will
give you 1,000 Is and within 1000 case, you're most likely going to stop for a break. And by that time hopefully they
would be a charger on the road until we get to that kind of thousand K range. As like your average.
I feel people still have that hesitancy.
Even though, again like you don't drive out of your driveway with a full tank of petrol. But if you have an electric car
with the proper charger at home, you could be driving out of your driveway with a full charge. It's just, if you're having to
just do long distances, there's got to be, I guess a sufficient range in the car. Are, you know, you're you're
going to be taking a break anyway and then you probably charged up around that. And I think, I think most people
are thousand KS will probably ought to cover it.
There's gonna be a Tipping Point, right, whether it be range or Battery Technology, like charge technology, and it's coming all the way back Teresa getting updated so quickly.
And the technology is moving so fast.
Yeah, and this is where it differentiates from the change from horses to cars. Is this is going to happen real
fast. It's not going to be like that.
100 years, it took to phase out horses and bringing cars like some of the some of the charging Tech depending on the car.
They can go from twenty eighty percent in about half an hour and a half hour compared to committable five-minute pump of the petrol. Bowser, it seems long but again,
let's just say you're on that thousand km trip.
That's yeah. Half-hour breaks.
Not particularly significant like you would want to stretch your legs for a little bit either, you know, you're probably missing still It's still less convenient, right?
Definitely less convenient. That's and that's the big issue
is but the mass adoption is going to be when it's more convenient. Yeah.
And when people have to, I think come to terms with the idea that again if you're living in the bush, it's much more important to you. But if you're living in letter
saying the outer suburbs or little bit further out of town, what do you got 1,000 cases, range, you know, on you.
It shouldn't be like you will feel comfortable heading out.
Universal testing you so UK and EU have it mandated, but Tesla must open it up to other people attend, if you people.
So, it's only EU. And UK that have that ability.
Rob's like a pull up to a Tesla Supercharger.
Started when I had dominoes the car was charged from 30 to 90 percent in twenty minutes. Wow.
And there was like Mercedes, everybody got a car that does 1000 que a mí mí que vea to to your points gentlemen, it's electric powered, right? So what happens if the you're
out driving and you go to a certain service station and is like a power outage at the place?
Yes. Isn't that the same as going to
a petrol station and they're out of petrol?
Ugly, but the chances of that happening are both happening and we have like a, you know, like a system goes down.
People can't people come by with anything besides cash, you know.
Like so you know and it does happen and it's an inconvenience. So this was another thing I was
thinking about with my retrofitted, service stations is for them all to have wind generators and solar panels on all of them. Because you've got that big
apron and the big overhead that could be loaded up with solar panels and then a decent sized Winter by like you see out the country, especially in South Australia because the addition of having that wind turbine would be, you know, whether the surveys are right, you'd be able to see them from a long way away. If you're driving through the
bush and you see a wind turbine, you go right?
That's the survey. That's where I'm going to go.
The way they tell me more straight on Because it's pumping that much electricity and current into a car like it's just it's going to it's going to be it's going to be really big cable if you know your Vault over current and resistance, you'll be over. It's but at the same same time
Eddie again like like Adam said, they've got his big ol, giant tanks of, you know, fuel that underground, they could be replaced with giant Banks of batteries.
So the each Pump It If is also having a large reserve of energy for any time and that that'll be if you were going for an electrified future, most homes again, if you've got solar panels, your next step is to get a battery system.
Same would be for the pumps if they're providing.
You know, instead of electric energy they will most likely be also holding more energy in battery storage, that sort of thing that would be the hard the overall progression of time.
It's just you can't do everything at once I'm feasible but it's just going to be like, you know, Early adopters a program have to suffer the most but you know over time whenever and transitions cigars. Yeah, the kind of things that
happen. So, how cool would it be if you
could hot-swap at home. So you have two batteries, you
have one at home during the day. Charging off your solar panel,
when you drive the car into the shed at Night, that stops the battery over and put the other one on the charger, just like the Seeker. But then also, why not just like
you do with your phone plug it in every night because your solar, Not making your videos better.
He's armed because any doubling up on batteries, right?
You are. But you have it on top of that,
there was actually, there's actually an article I read.
Not that long ago. There's a couple of all these
that have began a harnessing actually, the lunar power of through Sulphur and whatnot. So that is something which is
actually coming out to, we have all that.
That's all thing. At the end of the day, anything,
when it comes off the moon, it's just a reflection of the Sun.
So you know, That's another thing.
No, no, no, absolutely not. But that's not the point, still.
The fact, there's still something which is coming back through the system through the grid, and that still giving you some level charge, does make a difference.
Yeah. Yeah.
It's all collection its efficiency, right?
Yeah, that's that's what it all boils down.
To is how efficient, I mean, we already know an electric motor is far more efficient than I ca. Because you don't have the heat
losses and all the rest of the losses that are associated with a nice. A so let's just talk.
Instant talk, isn't it? Like there's just, there's no,
there's no, there's no lag. This, you know, waiting for you.
So that's, that's a better derogative factor for an electrical car. When you have a look at how they
programmer mode, is they have to restrict how much torque comes on so early, otherwise, you just fry.
Oh, the tires. I'm waiting for someone to do an
electric burnout car. Just hacking into the back into
the BCM and yeah, turn off the talk restriction.
Say, you've got ya as everyone says, yeah. 100% talk at zero.
If you could go edit the software so you actually get that it would make for a killer burning occur.
When they launched the Ford Marquis Like a monkey, like a drift car. And I was spinning all four
wheels. Smoking them up like crazy.
I'm like, I'm like, well, yeah, it's it's kind of putting everything else out of business really isn't like, it's just like, well, I mean, especially with the way, the Battery Technology is heading in and how fast it's going, it's just, it's just, it's going, it's going, it's going great.
Yeah, I mean, it does also depend on what you want out of a car as well. I with the Tesla's that we've
had at work, after you do five or six pulls through They're fun. They then you start getting sick
like it's a one-trick pony after you've done it for a little while you get over it pretty fast.
Yeah. I mean it's like what would I
want with? When I went with risen he took
me any his vanity and he gave it a couple of hits.
I felt like my my, my insides had been your testicles, wearing your throat. Yeah.
Yeah. Pretty much it.
That's exactly right. And it's, you know, it's it's
scary because it's how quick Um, they just get up to speed and it's just it's, it's talk which just feels like it just keeps pulling while it's on me. It's not, it's a weird.
It's a weird sensation. I mean, I don't, I don't know
where where, where we're heading, but from what I see it's different than looking at electric.
So yeah I mean there's so many variables there.
It only takes one step you know. Hi Joe.
Jim to take over and everyone recoil.
As a moment, hydrogen electrical is like VHS and beta.
They're both really good at the moment and it's some point.
Someone's, similarly, you guys next cars.
Like what like, theoretically. And let's say, five years time.
I'm not the right person to ask this question.
Remember that I've had yeah, 80-odd cars.
Every single one of them has been on the five grand.
But theoretically speaking, right?
So like, you know, the Chinese are here and there and they electric cars, are costly, coming, Cheeba, Cheeba, Cheeba, Cheeba Cheeba. Do you think that in five years
time, you guys, like, and be honest, you think you're that you'll have your own or would be looking at purchasing a electric car. So under 5 grand.
Absolutely look here either, right?
Well, anything's possible. Abel.
Yeah, I've got no problem with doing electric.
I've got solar on my house and means.
Yeah, I would have to get a battery to store that solar and in charge the car, but maybe I do both.
Okay. So, here's here's what I'll do
is, I'll have an electric car and I'll drive it every second day. One day you'll be sitting on the
solar on charge on its own dedicated circuit.
So it's not pulling any heat from the grid and then Then the second day, I will drive the you or the Merc to work and just swapping between him and say that I have my field cost and don't increase my electrical bill.
Yeah, that's it. If I could get to electric cars
around 25 Grand, I'd be set. And then I mean that that would
that would make a lot of sense but also like my you know what my thing is. Like I don't think they're going
to come to that price anytime soon within the next 10 years.
I think I also every car by is damaged so maybe I can get for that are written off to the have front-end in vexin to the every room lately and like two good ones out of it.
It's know, I'll put it this way. Right?
For example, were doing when you as be Sticks, came out like USB flash drives very well. I got my first one ever.
Got my dad took me to Clive Peters when I was around.
And if you guys remember, Clark Peters, no, because I'm not Victoria Victoria. It was a, it was a Superior
Solution which is was so Superior.
Was it better or worse than dick face?
Well Dick, Smith's story, I'll put it that way.
Like, that's kind of scary, isn't it?
These online now, but I bought a 256 Meg USB stick with us trouble. You want to call it, right?
And that was like a hundred and seventy bucks.
And this is, this is when I was young, just that escalation of Technology, right? Yeah, I feel like it.
I saw a Micro SD card right, like the tiny Market that tiny SD cards with a terabyte on there and I'm like, I'm like, oh my God, if that's It's a and I was, I mean getting that USB was what 2006, 5, 2005 2006 like in 15 years old 17 years, or whatever, whatever it is, the progression was insane.
So, just about the progression from from electric cars.
I think we're going to get electric cars and they're going to have the battery packs are going to be so good.
In the next five years that they're going to give two thousand cows out of them. So you're not going after what
you don't have that range anxiety, you can drop them here to Sydney and you will not have any issue.
I just think it's just it's just a matter of time till we get that technology. But is the question is will
hydrogen get there first? Correct, and but things are
hiding or something that we haven't even thought about yet.
Just coming out of the blue and taking over, correct.
It's like Blu-ray taking over from VHS and beta.
This came out of the blue, I was going to say for myself.
Yeah, I love already had an A car by now, if something listens, he came my family but it will most likely end up being next year. So, next year's purchase God.
You guys must have a hell of a lot better charge network over there than we do here. We've got no word of a lie of
this, probably eight Tesla's, my work at the moment across the different ranges, the S, the a the exit, the whole lot.
And people that chose swap in a minute trading.
I mean, just say, Yeah, they can charge at home, but it takes hours, and there's nowhere else. Yeah.
They'll go to a hotel and run an extension lead out the window to charge it on the thing. There's just no network.
Yeah. But thankfully like our I guess
daily travel would probably not exceed. 150 km.
Yeah, yeah. The new house is going to have
three phase power for the charger as well.
So, well, you should say even three phases enough for a suit.
The charger, you've got to have high high, current three phase.
So, but 44 only did like driving at most 150 days in the day.
Come and plug it in in the evening.
You should be alright by the morning.
Not, you may not be at 100% but yeah, like most of our traveling isn't that extensive every Mammy the around town kind of car.
Yeah, it's and what your electricity bill like, thankfully, we're going to have solar panels and battery pack or two. So hopefully it'll be not not
super high but we'll see see that what a burst your bubble that you can't do three phase from a solar panel.
What? Three, so, I don't know.
We're just going to have solar panels for throwing the house electricity and charging up the batteries.
Yeah, I don't expect the solar panels field of charge up the Tesla. Frankly that's a bit too much,
but yeah, I'm looking forward to this challenge because like we've got so much sun here computer.
Anyone else? Yeah and yeah we're talking
about how it's not viable for people to out in the country.
The further Inland you go the more sun they get you know over the whole Center of Australia's desert, I forget his name but that bloke that's trying to buy a GL wants to build that superclamp. The super solar farm and then
run a cable, all the way up to Singapore and Asia and charge them for the electricity. I really hope he Was that cuz
that he would have to supply us before he starts applying it on else, that would be the way to go.
I think, one of the German higher-ups who are working on their, I guess, green energy plan, they rule the fact that they don't have weather like us in Australia.
Yeah, 10% of German energies done by solar.
And if I don't know, it's a lot higher.
I think like, 90% of German businesses and homes have solar By all the, all the solar technology and the improvements in solar technology is all out of Germany.
Yeah. But unfortunately, they don't
get enough Sun. Usually still here alone that
Russian gas but still if they had the kind of climate we had, that's what they were that they were kind of ruling that wheat.
They would have basically all nearly all their energy supplied by solar. Yeah yeah, especially for over
here in wi all our money comes from Mining and you know you can only do so much, there's the whole can do.
Go so deep that we really, really need to start looking at solar and Alternatives because I mean we've had a have happened twice now where the morning bubbles burst and it's just fucked everything could wa because we're so reliant on the lining. I mean, even the last Bubble
Burst, you can still go to auction houses and there's thousands of my lose and jet skis from all the guys that used to do 50. It was the first thing they had
to get rid of. So Before you enter kind of the
week. Rob says, I have three phase and
Tesla and a Tesla charger at home, but can they charge of 15 amps Max? Yep, yeah.
It's all about it. So yeah, three phase and high
voltage V phase, two different things to it.
Can be done. I've seen a couple places now
that will run high voltage. Three phase from the power lines
down to the house and into a Tesla Bank.
Or the Tesla powerwall, whatever they're called the super charges. But yeah, it costs a lot of
money and both installation and the ongoing charges are very, very high. So rather he listening.
How much, how many kilometers of chart arranged you get per hour of charge 15 ends? Yeah.
I mean, I saw your spiky might installing these Tesla charges and things and every one of you heard from there, now look to be honest, a job. And how do you know my rights
ended up installing any of those.
So I couldn't really tell you. I wouldn't tell you.
That's the kind of a subset of Sparky's that are doing.
Yeah. Yeah.
It's not every night Sparky that are doing it.
A lot of them are actually like employed by Tesla.
All things just like they hold charging Network.
They don't want anyone replicating or using so yeah, it is quite tricky. But I'll actually my car awake
in the group chat so Matt can read that one.
But keep it keep an open mind given the fact that the transmission He responds with is like you get about 100 case for an hour of charge if that's full for my kind of household usage.
In town would be easy again, I wouldn't be road trip in the car unless that's a planned route. If you have charges I could take
the once I get the D-Max in which I think Tesla does automatically, right? You tell it where you want to go
and it'll tell you how to get there via the Chargers.
Yeah, I'm sure. It'll say can't find it.
A route if you're going somewhere towards I think me and the Tesla I've got something common but you should have chosen a better. You know, it's over GG.
Thanks to Anthony. Alma believe you sent yours as
well. Yep, first and foremost
gentlemen, now I want to preface this Japanese.
All right, here we go. When you professing, it means
this shit. Yeah, it does Japanese
performance cars right from the from the Golden Era of like the early late 80s, 90s and early 2000.
What what what do we think of NSX?
That's what, that's a good choice but that's the way.
You've got my wizard. Okay.
It's what series? It's better than all those cars
put together make this. I got no you fucking I wish I
was from the Golden Era of Japan.
Now this is Hello happy. It's just not funny.
I've heard that they are quite a handful in the wet as well.
This one is, it's a fan of it, as an ex, hundred forty thousand cases. Probably clock back, but it's
Anna. I know, I say this every time
but your, your your tab game is just ridiculous.
You've got so much so that we can actually read them.
Well, the good thing about this one guy's is, right.
It's not just a normal three numbers.
X, it is a throne as a nice twin-turbo two-seater.
So it's an automatic saying exercise.
Six turbo swaps for Super X sleaziest.
It's just had a full respray and you can see, it's putting putting the car back together because there's another door handles on there, just yet daddy dear.
But it's got the electric seats. As you can see God, look at the
steering wheels have better days.
We will have seen better days. That is true.
But I'll save that a days. No, it's had a sprage.
These got to put their lights in the few little.
That's a backyard sprays you bravely as make Merry in the Yeah, I think some pedals watching this.
Told him about it. I look up heddles tape over your
location. Please give us a location.
It's in better heights. Yeah, I always remember.
Do you guys remember when Adrienne put up the car that was stolen still here. That was just hilarious.
That was probably the last time I was on but yeah, they never played San Alan. Read the number plates.
Okay. That was for a completely
different car. That was that, that was actually
one of the funniest probably moments of the show.
But looking at this car, guys, it's not that bad.
It's clean. Look, it's actually okay.
It looks like it's kind of had a fresh battery of some description. Okay, strong word.
It's still a little, the heavy lifting in that, it's a genuine, it's an order. Best place to buy a car.
Dennis some. Well, I'm hoping so he says
recent response on the bumper to the front Court up.
Give it a roll of electrical tape Sunrise.
Oh God, it says here recently, recently sprayed down in the booth, not top-notch, but not. All right, when washed up.
So, in other words, if this code for his backyard, see those two old men in the back there, they've got the original motor.
Noisy power steering. Pump might need a new belt or
top up. Now you need a new pump
exhausted. Well what is the noise that
Central potentials are going to be honest, it doesn't even have potential potential. AJ has lost.
All right let's let's bring in the ausa first car.
Well let's see if any of your comments.
What it's that good that people have.
Is a 2006 BMW. Is it had new gasket?
Remind guests in combination with the 1-series new?
That'll solenoid. So he's just advertised that.
It's going to keep blowing remains, pretty much pretty much, it's days ago. They're straight season.
How many? How many cases he got on it.
230,000. So basically, it's probably not
ideal to as fruit do for a rebuilt.
Being a BMW, I'm surprised of going.
However, It doesn't quite tidy. It looks highly organized.
It looks like it's been punched in the face.
That's so much better than what Maddie presented.
It looks like a bulldog this case the parked car so that's like saying you told in a midget so you know like I'm huge in Japan. Well I'll get into your car loan
and now let's go. Let's go for Adams I'll go last
okay. Oh, what do you want to get lost
cause Here, I'm going to win. So we're just going to sear.
Here we go. Bruce says telling these
dreaming. I am.
Yep. What a car?
Yes. Yes, so thank you for allowing
me to win this one quite easily. Yeah, so in the vein of foot
Festivus is the mighty Master 121 bubble.
So actually know these guys first answer already Cruz they've been on my podcast. Yeah, they're very well known
from the race Wars. Series in.
Wa the the guys that do a lot of the social media for it.
And yeah, this cars got a bit of a reputation on their YouTube channel. If you ever so Adam, if you have
presented us a rolling defect, it's only a defect.
If you get caught, so did you miss u's on the show earlier?
Yes, yeah, Abby's not there. Now, this is why we're doing
this. So it's a it's a bottle 121.
So basically, these were A woman's derriere to be to be, which is, which is very, very hard.
I love the graphics of the wheels.
It's got a tramp stamp, it has a kind of Trance have Anna.
It's got sleeve, tats down the sides, it's everything you want in the west Australian, right? This is center link the car.
It's was it by septic so we don't lose anything wrong with anyone. That's on suddenly question.
Hey I am I'm still posted. Okay, here's my little rig.
It's a little Messier 121 bubble.
This car has been a lot of fun to our own and I'm reluctant to let go of it. Well then why is it on sale
buddy? But I have too many cars the
incorrect to but still. That's right.
I bought this bone stock in a bit.
Ruff. It was originally a 1.3 with no
power steering. Now it's a 1.5, the power coil
overs in the rear unfortunately, chop.
He's in the front, but I have added a few degrees of canva to the front sitting on 15 by 8 rotor, Arby's with semi slicks on the front and no idea what tires on the back.
Good, this thing better is front-wheel drive.
This thing has no suspension travel.
So you come for a test drive, brace yourself.
Because it's rough. The body has funny of mocks and
bumps, but it presents well enough and gets lots of compliments. It will come with, at least
three months of registration and sticker right here, canaris States. Royalties the shed again, if
anyone watches them on YouTube, you'll know all about it.
The police are pretty wild. This car is awesome.
It is. It is eye-catching.
I'll give it that it is. I think, I think the color of
the wheels With along with that costly chatter?
Yeah, I think it is fantastic. It is the epitome of nineties.
It's not, he's since six pack and I thought was missing and how much how much they want for. It's under 10, princely sum of
35 Hundred Rolls by 5, you can have three of them.
So that's the cheapest car. We've had in today's
competition, correctly phone. Yeah, excellent.
All right. For you to these that is a good
good suggestion. And I will say, in fact, you
could buy it and by the proper suspension for it to still be under. I think it looks great.
I can buy it. And you heat clear through
yellow stickers. Oh yeah, well, did I wouldn't
want to buy it and drive it home.
I want to do it across the table.
Oh yeah, mi casa su casa. I've said many times that
everyone to come across, I might have a proposition for you, but Maddie, if you will get well and have a look at this.
If you get the chance, look at, I think it's dodgy Garage on you. To definitely go check his stuff
out because yeah crazy. Well Ellen will get to yours
now. Yeah, we show winning car, it's
not going to be okay but it was a close second.
Nice, Aroma 1985 Corolla in manual, prevent driven only 98,000 case. It is a one owner family car
always garaged original Wheels Hub, character exhaust in stereo. He just needs tires too far.
I've never heard of anyone selling a car saying it's got genuine rubber. It was General window, General.
It's got the AC and the economy. AC looking is a oh it's a party
of it. It's not the dolphin one.
It's a tiny car super responsive and all right look it's a good look. You can sell them to the
Americans for Millions. Australians with the ID ones.
And the guitar plays believe is, look, I'd say arguably, it's one of the cleaner cars presented today, what time, do they take a colleague? Come with your original wheels
and hubcaps, dude, if you don't go for this car, I'll tell you what this car. 6500 dollars your cost $3500.
We could technically bind them together.
This your proposition. That was my proposition.
This is improperly to do win against that but it's never going to win. Anyway.
Nah, I'm going on behind, right? I like it's very clean.
Like, I'll give you that. It is very clean.
However, Ellen, you know what I do?
Always Garrosh. Yeah, I kind of believe that,
but I don't believe it was a 1-owner.
I hate his, he painted the drums, on the back of it red, the red Mane 6 been raped drums, Oops, this car was like a one of us looking thing. It seems from the original
Toyota dealership that is patina God.
It's is your further. You get the fireworks and then
hookers special a spray painting stuff.
Is why is it coming from? Repairers, that's what I wished
and fix. And this this year, they've come
together. God.
If this was 1999, I would be so keen on this car that they are.
Look, you are all down Chapel Street in this thing.
Yeah. Everyone would be leaning in
your window saying, hey, that's got a lot of potential.
Yeah. Hey if you're all down, the
struggle Street and your thing, your car would be On a tow truck and taken away Adam with a canary on it.
Well, no because it's really red coat.
Like he put these years. Where's my husband?
Yeah, the toys are that the low-profile tyres would cost me too much to swap a lot, my hubcaps back.
That's what I would be saying. They would be saying you know
it's a good cow when it comes to the load of space where's that where's the hot? And we got a tie breaker.
Do I need to start looking for a tiebreaker because the forecast see which way this is going before cuz we got so far we've got we've got Adam Adam, we've got your R12 on Bubble.
We've got a Anthony's 130, ice manual.
We've got my, obviously, the best guy here, say gonna Calhoun Ramona was 300ZX twin-turbo, automatic ordering, I can paint job. Not even put together properly
and fuckin side of his body. She's electric, right?
He's from the electrical letter of Booth.
Yes, it did. He mix the paint inside of a
booth rest. It was done.
Stole the painting, the paint gun from a booth to be fair.
He said, the key is there's no clear coat peeling but he's covered the whole thing water, so it's because he never put a clear coat on after, it's just straight fine.
We've got alumns Corolla that that that that's grandma spec masterfully kept clean as hell. Hell very low case.
You also claiming original original stock, he's and then there's got six. Maybe it was an option at
Toyota, you don't know. Joe, where is your hard-earned
dough? Readers gone.
Okay, so last chance Adam. Well, I think the roller could
be an epic sleeper if you go over, not apart from Japan, don't you dare? Don't you fucking dare.
Don't fall for his bullshit. Like I wasn't even a few minutes
300 ceilings. In fact, I think Denny my
brother / co-host is on here and he knows what happened when I drove that 300 cynics. Other customers and we won't say
any more than that. Well I'm going to say, I don't
know. I my money is going going for
the one-to-one model. I like the one-to-one bubble.
I think the one-to-one model is is hilarious.
So 90s, you can just hear the rude Sandstorm coming out.
You can either get habit of repeat it's just yeah and 90s baby. Darude Sandstorm mixed in with
scrape scrape scrape scrape scrape from the gods, because they've just been mounted, but I'm a Gemini is what I would do.
I would buy proper suspension for it and pop it in, and then I would just enjoy it. I think that'll be a cracker,
Adam. Where's your money on?
I've got to know when to hold and when to fold them, I'll go with the one who won. What are ya?
Well, it looks like. Always mentions the fact that he
beat me on what I mean. I've come to the office to come
to the fact now that I pretty much I virtually lose every week in this in this. I'll tell you, man, just a the
Falcons you ever gonna find. I had a clean as though, you had
his own a supercharged that you see how many you can get for 10K. If you can get like, six a, you
Falcons for 10K and post them up.
That's Going to we could be able to, I think maybe that's going to be the new episode is just how many a you Falcons competition and going off now. So it's getting harder.
How many acres? I think I told you once before I
want to do the quiz and do the. I'm actually I don't know if you
guys have seen it. Yeah, I'm actually On YouTube is
really good. Its Ned's preserve culture.
Yeah, so they say something that's incorrect on purpose and you've got a buzzy in and say, I'm actually because being a car, guys, wanting the being a car guy, correcting, other people is the ultimate, but it's the best.
It's a flex that, that, that we all know too.
Well gentlemen, I think that's a podcast.
That's so sorry. Thank you, mr.
Adam water. Thank you, mr.
Anthony Albanese e. I'll be seeing ya.
Unless cops. Mr. Adam please.
The whole reason why podcast started with kids, I would rant and Rave about cars and no one would listen to me.
So I thought I would throw it out to the internet and it turns out that even the Internet won't listen to you.
When I write right so that's something I'll just drag Daniel.
Once I have this into pretty much all your episodes actually and virtually vice versa. I think I'm one of the very few
people that is listen to the 400 two episodes of yours back catalogue. I did my back end does quite
well like it's quite the light from what I see.
Mr. Ward It gets gets quite good on on.
Someone's some like, are treatable and iTunes ranking.
So I wouldn't, I wouldn't tell you.
It's a cracking. Sure, people do listen, but I
think a lot of our stuff came from toy drive, really, but it's all good. Well, I want to try get the
Sunday's back pretty much every week so you definitely definitely. Well, count me in for every
Sunday. Yeah, it's good to have you on
board for that. We should get Adrian back next
week as well for Sunday show just don't tell him.
I'm on. Yeah, okay tell him Tyrone's or
little mr. Dave sing.
Yes, you can check out our good friends and they system podcast Auto Retro by David prints. And Edward one thing where they
have a guest who talks about I guess they call history history here. We definitely don't know saying
it was so weird. Sinan to Matt being on there and
no one giving him a hard time. Very ciose.
It was it was just weird so weird, I just great show baby wrong, but I was shouting at my stereos, as Anthony said is it even a show from that isn't being insulted?
So I'm gonna guess no Sunrise, no, no Sunrise.
Like it's been retired then maybe politics, sure starting.
Oh, Hey guys. Yeah, car politics.
There's a niche. Hallelujah.
Anyone's doing capital T it was activated using Castor.
Get that guy from the motoring Enthusiast fighting back on.
Yeah. Hi Daddy.
What I said, my sister link if you're interested in buying a new car or interested in the electric space really Ross from a colleague accompany you is you man so go check him out.
I'm out. Did you get his wheels for you
stories? Not yet, not yet.
We have to exchange the 350 for the tile.
So they want to sit with us. He's going to sign over the
looking for me. And then you get Stars, so much
stuff with this show. Just happens behind the
background and no one ever talks about it.
It's so hot like I listened to every single show and when I get on this, just so many things I want to ask you ever like that.
The first time I was on the show when I came out, Well, I just wanted to desperately know what HSP was which is it.
Sony Victoria that has a chest. CT is just so many things that
you don't explain. This is this the reason why
Victoria, you know, it's the it's the, it's the wonderful land that it is. And you know, we respect and
acknowledge our hsps as one of the the overarching foods.
It's a delicacy here. It really is a delicacy and
We're happy to show on The Americans, you just assume over on those Wicked here in Canberra and Sydney.
So it's all the same.
Area of town. Let's just say in Melbourne,
that may or may not have a slightly more racist demographic called them hungry, snack packs. Yeah, there's I was going to
say, I think that the H is the issue.
I think that's why they don't call them HSP over here.
There are quality nutritional meal, that are awesome.
They're the best thing I've ever eaten in my life.
Yeah, I can't wait to get back to Victoria is always open for you as you say. If you're coming over, you're
going to have to bring them because of some kind.
I'll tell you this quick story with the day being over in Sydney. So like between the pair of us
we used to travel two or three times a year that to catch up.
Yeah, just half my family's over there, half a year and the tradition for the longest time was, he came to Sydney to wa you brought Krispy Kremes because they never had them here.
And if you went over that way, you would take lat.
Is spamming milk. Which Probably sounds disgusting
to you guys but believe me, it's the best thing ever.
So you know how you have chocolate milk.
We have we have a spearmint flavored milk.
You guys are weird. I reckon, I can get behind that.
No, yeah. You've got to try it but the
only judge us like Arrow a little.
Yeah. Yeah.
It tastes a little like The Arrow bars.
Yeah. I can get behind that.
No, I do. I have this.
I have this. This theory that people that eat
minced chocolate or chocolate with like spearmint or anything.
Without like it's you've got like an evil on the tone light mint, its it, it tastes like it too.
It is basically, you just brush your teeth and you've eaten chocolate like, well, why would you do that?
It's like one of the worst things.
It's different, dude, it's a sin.
You shouldn't be putting chocolate with chocolate.
With me, it just doesn't work. I mean it's a valid.
Argument, but not from you. Is anyone else tired that I
might take it? Seriously.
We also have. I do you guys call it Devon?
Yes, yes. I hear it's called bologna and
it's because they've seen how bologna is written and decided to call it plenty. It's only wa it's called
polanyi. Not the oven.
What the hell? Yeah it's weird that I didn't
lie as we. It was such a culture shock may
even from wa to Sydney. It was it was a lot of things
that were very very different but it's really fun.
I will die on my heel. That Spirit milk is good.
You just going to try well if I'm over there I'll try I will I'll get it. I'll have it for you at the
airport when I'm here and if you don't neck, the whole thing in one guy, then I'll lose new at this.
Looks like he hasn't anything because what if you get addicted and then you can't get it back home?
That's it's a tough proposition. It is a tough proposition.
Are you have to make a right and straight as a go-between smuggled across the border? Well, join.
I will let you guys go. It's like and share our Facebook
page. It's car talk to you.
