I figured, I didn't want to be mean and get him full sick.
We'll just go half sick.
Right before the fork.
Yeah.
And then he can deal with bullshit later.
I deal with bullshit every time I see you.
That's true.
I had to get that one out.
Nice.
Nice.
Professional.
We're professional around here.
That's how we do everything.
Hopefully, everyone had a good week and weekend.
It's been interesting around here, unseasonably warm and dry as we get into fall, which is
supposed to start.
Except for Mom Pillar and Janice.
Yeah.
It's not dry there.
Ironically enough, one track we talked about having a big race.
The only place like in the Midwest apparently got rained on Saturday was Montpelier Speedway,
which Dwayne will tell us about here in a few minutes.
This is only Montpelier, too.
Yeah.
I don't know how many times I've been there and gotten rained on.
Seriously.
Yeah.
Yeah.
For our buddy Ryan had good car count and everything looking good looking for a good night and Mother
Nature just did not want to cooperate.
She thought it was March or or something or something or something.
But before we get into too many details about everything happening, we got sponsors
to talk about.
Our first is our friends over at propane.com.
If you haven't already head over to the website, learn more about what propane can
do for you.
Propane and renewable propane reduce carbon emissions while reliably meeting energy needs
in homes, businesses, farms and on the road.
That's why propane is the energy for everyone.
Wow.
Look at the evening.
That sounds very professional.
I know.
I read it right off the website.
So I didn't come up with that propane clean, safe, reliable and affordable energy.
All kinds of different uses for it.
We talked about, you know, last week, the world 100 lots propane being used
down at Aldora this coming weekend.
We got the four crown lots propane probably going to be used down there again.
More likely.
Lots of propane.
Unfortunately, I may cheat it on propane.
Last night we put the stakes in the oven in the broiler way to go instead of using
the grill.
So propane gods are going to kick your apologies to propane for cheating on you.
But easy over there.
Jesus.
Striking me down already.
Look at that.
See?
Propane God speaking.
Instead of listening to us babble on about propane each and every week and probably doing
a subpar job of relaying of how awesome and how helpful can truly be to you.
This email and I'm telling them we're awesome head over to the website propane.com to
learn more about what propane can do for you because as they say propane is energy
for everyone propane.com.
Yep.
Jingle is back.
Tell me we do jingle too.
I know.
I wonder if they ever got one email that says hey we hear about John Dirtner.
Let's just say what I should do is record it just you saying it and then mix it with music
and then get it to the appropriate people because I know it can get to the appropriate
people.
You can do a mixer.
Propane.
Propane.
Propane.
Propane.
Propane.
Propane.
A rap.
Slim shady.
Some rave music.
Yeah.
Stealer suck.
Propane.
Propane.
Propane.
Propane.
Propane.
to watch it, too, because I don't know, like, you got to be
shit. Of course. They're good. They're coming back and
getting ready to leave and coming back. Oh, it's gonna be good.
That's like, like deflated. Okay. We are bill. Check please.
Time to go. It's like, what the hell? It's okay. I got to
watch 41 year old quarterback just throw darts to the
sideline on third down left and right. So he was he was
close. Yeah. It was real close. Somebody. Yeah. It
wasn't anybody on the field. I think I think he was
aiming for the guy holding the clipboard on the
sideline every time like, Hey, I don't want you to run
for the ball. Just throw it right to you. So yeah, we had
a good day for Cleveland. So I see that because that game
was right on near their stealer one. So I was watching
like, you know, it'd be cool if the stealers actually
win and the Browns beat the brave is like, what's
the chances of both of those? Yeah. Well, miracle
world are you living in? Someone who also probably
had a bad Sunday because lots of Bengals fans down by
our friends at the whistle stop. Yes. Bar and Grill
whistlebar and grill.com is the website. Many Bengals
fans down there, Joey, Joey touchdowns. Yeah. Might be
out for a few weeks. I haven't actually three months.
I saw surgery on his toe. Yeah. So it's something
that I like for I see. I see like six to eight
weeks. Yeah. They said possibly up to three
months. So our friends at the whistle stop
Sundays may not be as glorious for them, although
their backup did lead them to a touchdown or, you
know, game winning drive and whatnot with, you know,
all the good stuff. So Joe Burrell is overrated there.
I said, uh-oh. Our friends down at the whistle
stop may not agree with that. That's okay. They're
they're poll tabs are overrated. What's not
overrated is their awesome pizza. They're great
sandwiches, burgers. They got all kinds of other
you know, dishes and dinner dishes. They have
fried chicken some days. They got awesome meat
loaf. Everything I've had there's been for now.
I have. I had dessert there last time. That's right.
You said you got the cookie that was not meant
for two people. Yeah, it was definitely meant
for you. You definitely have to share it. Yeah.
Well, I thought it was meant for like four.
Yeah. Well, it's funny because she's like, oh,
it's just one of those little ones we're
thinking of. Yeah. She goes, it's not that big.
So we ordered two and it's like, holy shit.
Yeah. So now you all got to go to whistle
stop, get some dessert to make sure Duane is
not bullshitting you're right. So this weekend
coming up, four crowns coming up. So three day
show this year. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Yeah.
So right down the road from Odora, seven miles
south on state route 118. Be sure to hit
up the whistle stop. You can order online,
pick it up at the drive-up window. Yeah.
Dine in, carry out and there's even
door dash to the race track. Right to your
camper. So seeing the main camping lot is sold
out. Oh, not surprised. What across the
street is race haulers or the one north
north lots for race haulers, but the one
across the street. Yep.
Village. The village that said the first
like eight or 10 rows is sold out of that.
Wow. Yeah. So it sounds like a hell of a
crowd. Four crowns been gaining popularity
the last decade for sure.
So well, it's a little different again this
year. Yes. Because you got high limits
360s. Yeah. And 360 has never been there.
Yeah. But they're doing it different Saturday
and, you know, because people can't read
everybody's talking about, well, it's Saturday
it's a long Saturday song. People's already
bitching. I was going to be two AM while
they're changing it because they're going
kind of like one of the big late mile races
like every lap matters. So there's no
qualifying on Saturday at all. Oh, that'll be
nice. So they're going the Thursday
Friday or the Thursday usex sprint midget
race. However, whatever point system they're
doing is going to seed the qualifiers
for Saturday and same thing with high
limits on Friday.
Then the actual only thing that's going to be
qualifying is Silver Crown Silver Crown.
That's Friday night. And if they haven't
been made, that's Friday night to Saturday.
There's no qualifying qualifying races
based on points from your qualifying
nights. Yeah. So
different format. Yes. High limits
may be qualifying on Saturday, but I know
none of the usex is qualifying. That's
sorry. So if you have one division
qualifying, I mean, I don't know how many
high limits they'll have. I mean, the
outlaws are the all stars. Yeah, that's
true. Well, in all stars used to get like
40 cars showing up and the all stars are
done. Yeah. So you
outlaws will be in California still.
Yes. They come back for the following
weekend. Yeah. So I'd say you probably
pick up Caleb Henry may get a few
travelers.
Yeah. But when you're in a break between
races, be sure to head down to the
whistle stop. Yes. And enjoy some awesome
food. If you're in the area, head a little
further south to downtown Greenville.
No bus trip this. No. Nope. Just
dirt track World Championship, right?
I don't know if they're doing that one.
Maybe not. I think so. But I thought
he was just doing three this year, but
maybe not. Yeah. I think he said the dirt
track World Championship one.
Yeah. Kind of flop flash. But if you
go to sure shot, they got 46 actually
50 adult beverage self poor taps.
So you could go check it out. You check
in. They give you a poor card in your
charge by the ounce. There's all kinds
of awesome, awesome beverages to try.
They got all your regular domestic type
beers. They got IPAs. They got seasonal
stuff, local stuff, stout's porters,
couple ciders usually and usually
assaults are on hand. Again, it
makes it nice. You could just try,
you know, a basic or not a basic
but one of those fancier type of
beer. That's right. You may not
want to pay for the entire pint for
and you can just try it by the ounce.
That's right. And if you do, you
get a little squirt. If you like it,
go ahead, finish off your pint.
Otherwise, you can rinse out your
glass, go on to the next one till
you find one you like. So it works
out real well and you can have a
little more fun if you go up to
the bullseye game lounge. They got
24 arcade games for duck pin bowling
lanes, all self serve. Awesome
time to be had up there. Go with
your friends, have a little
challenge, have a little fun.
There's Papa shot. There's the
Jurassic Park games. Pretty
intense. They got Motorcycle
Race. They got a pretty cool
shooting game called Big Shot.
That one's a lot of fun too. So
check it out. Reloadable cards
available at a kiosk upstairs.
Take your drinks up there. You
can take a pizza up there if
you want and have some good
times if you have a fall
time, winter times coming.
Sometimes you want to do some
of those group outings,
corporate outings, things like
that. They got some venue
spaces, the Butler room,
Oakley Lounge, two game lounge
rooms and a few other things.
They got packages available for
catering and all that stuff.
So right now, if you go, you can
get a nooner. That's right.
Oh, that's by the ounce. Yeah.
Or a full pint. Yes. Yes.
Speaking of the banquet rooms
and stuff, I know for a fact
one of our sometimes listeners
but a loyal area sprint
car fan. He supports
AFCS quite a bit, but our
buddy. Well, I don't know.
I don't know if it's a surprise
or not, but there's going to be
a part party there over the
weekend. Nice.
The one day. Yeah.
I don't know if it's a surprise
party or not.
Yeah, better keep your mouth
shut on it. Yeah.
Case somebody's listening.
Yeah. I'm not sure.
Sure shot taphouse.com
is the website.
You go to the drink and eat
tab. Go to tap wall line up
to see what they got.
And if you want to look into
the more
games stuff, there's games
activities tab, venue spaces
tab for all the rooms and areas
available to have your events
at. So be sure to check them out.
Again, four crowns going on.
I know a race fan taken advantage
of having, you know, a little party.
Yeah, so you could do.
That's right.
I wish we live closer or I
definitely would because I got invited
to the party, but it's Friday.
During the day, probably.
Yeah, and you'll be working.
I thought actually we was looking
at renting one of those campers
just for sits and giggles because
they had some and I had to spend
a little bit of money for work
for my taxes and I thought
that'd be perfect.
That sounds like a company outing.
Yeah, but I forgot.
I got two people off on Friday.
Ah, so it's like, well, shit.
Adult life hits again.
Yeah, it sucks.
Sucks being an adult being responsible.
Yeah, damn customers.
It could be all right.
Yeah.
Oh, well, is what it is.
I could say Friday night and sorry,
but it's like nascar at that point.
Yeah.
Not getting your money's worth.
No.
All right.
So a little racing happened this weekend.
Few things in our area going on.
Few things.
Not in our area going on.
Delaney made his way to Indiana.
Got was one for two on hitting race.
Well, two for two on hitting the races,
but one for two on seeing the race.
I wasn't sure.
I can't believe one guy rained out.
Yeah.
But yeah, I went to Circle City for the
Ashley Albertson Memorial race.
Third one already.
It's hard to believe, but it's cool event.
I mean, they have her last race car there
and they do some fundraising for different things.
And, you know, and they put up like a hundred bucks
and win a heat race.
It was so much for hard charge.
You know, they do extra awards and it's all open wheels.
You sack sprints, you sack D2 midgets
and then the all star circle champion TQ midgets.
Good car counts.
I think it's 32 28 and 22.
I like Circle City.
It's becoming one of my favorite.
One of my most favorite Indiana tracks instantly.
I mean, every time I've been there, it's been excellent race.
Seen one of my best late mile races.
I've seen a long time there a couple of years ago.
Facilities nice.
The food's nice.
Restrooms are, you know, I mean, they just keep it nice.
And if that race wasn't a contender for race of the year,
Friday night, I'll kiss it because that was a hell of a battle
up front.
I mean, there's four to six guys just battling out.
I mean, two wide, three wide slider for slider.
The cushion, I mean, it was one of those turned for the
cushion had to be eight, 10 inches tall, if not a foot
tall, same deal on three or one and two.
And here comes old gimp, you know, old camp, you know,
on the crutches and racing with one foot.
And it's funny.
He would really want that big of a factor until last towards
in and I mean, he's bouncing off that cushion bicycle and
popping one wheel and he did get cast off.
But Justin Grant pulled off the win.
I mean, him and Mitchell Moles was just this slide for
slide every corner and Mitchell, like he said, it was
just like a chess match between those two.
Then Chase Stockin was in there at the end, KTJ at one
time, I mean, four or five times the last eight, 10 laps
they was coming three wide off turn three or turn four,
you know, and it was just spectacular.
And Justin Grant, I tell you, you know, I've, I've been
on him for years about crashing into people in that,
but I think he's gaining a lot of respect to people
of just the toughness of, I mean, like he said,
he goes cast is off now.
But he says, so now it really hurts to apply the breaking.
He says he still can't only reply at about 70% but so much
tough.
I mean, yeah, he's out there still doing a cage stand
even after he wins with broken foot still.
And just, I mean, yeah, it was, it was a, and I didn't
see him hit one car.
I mean, which is amazing.
He's driving better with the broken foot and he is not
crashing into shit anymore.
Maybe learning his lesson.
I don't know.
Justin Grant, Mitchell Moles, Briggs Danner.
Yes.
Danner came up on the end too.
He's Stocking Gunner Setzer, your top five.
And Danner and Chase started it because there's a big
lip while during the cautious Chase was driving in
then Danner and find, well, then they'd go above
and then come shooting down.
Chase was the first one.
Well, then, you know, Mitchell slid Grant three
or four times and then, you know, Grant had the lead
lost the lead.
So then Grant started doing it at the end and, but yeah,
I mean, Stocking started came from pretty far back
and so Danner and they was just, I mean, right up
on the fence.
I mean, like, then shooting down off the cushion
popping wheelie down the back stretch.
I mean, it was just spectacular.
Then in the D2 midgets, Jacob Boxle, which
telling you he's probably, he's got to be the
most improved driver of the year.
And the D2's and, I mean, he's been running
great in the national midgets.
18th, the first for the win for Jacob Boxle.
Thanks.
Had trouble all night.
It card didn't want to run in hot laps.
Didn't want to run really well in a heat race.
So started 18th in one and then Logan Prickett
won the TQC.
He's part of the Boiler up program that
Laila's in.
He's on the well funded Purdue because they
actually funded his sprint car and his TQ
bench on the well funded Purdue engineering
team.
Nice.
You sec made their way down to Hobstot Saturday
night where Logan CV got to win for $20,000.
Yes.
And he was bound with the grant.
And then again, I mean, it was, I watched
that on TV when I got back home from out
pillar.
Yeah.
That's CV.
Somebody's been kind of, I want to say
off his game, but not the year.
Logan CV's been wanting, you know, yeah, few
years.
Well, and it's weird because we talk about, uh, I
feel like we've been talking about Justin
Grant winning races every freaking week.
Oh yeah.
He's won a lot.
But Kyle Cummins is leading the points.
Yes.
Mitchell Walls, the second, Logan CV, third
and Justin Granson fourth.
Yeah.
So it's kind of wild how the points
have fallen into place.
I know Cummins had a lot of success early
in the year, which helps.
But I mean, he's still running good.
He finished, which is weird tri-state.
Kyle Cummins finished fifth and he started
first.
That doesn't happen.
He missed the race from his injury.
Well, actually almost two because he did the
provisional and start and parked basically
then he missed the next one.
So he's down there a little bit.
Yeah.
And that's, that's a hell of a battle right
now.
And there, those guys are tough.
I mean, yeah.
It's weird.
They only got 26 cars for 20 grand
to win on Saturday down at tri-state.
I know it's a little bit out of the way
for quite a bit of people.
Well, you had Lincoln Park racing.
You had, uh, Montpelier, which I think
there's close to 30 some Montpelier
and some of the guys that was racing with
them on Friday night, didn't want to go,
didn't go clear down there and just went
to Montpelier one time because it paid
six grand to win was going to pay six
grand to win till mother nature
decided to not leave Montpelier.
Yeah.
Me and it rained and rain and they,
they worked their ass off.
I will say that he milked me in and
so I see he was getting some shit
because he kept posting, we are going
to get it in.
Well, you know, they had the track
sealed and it was what letting it run
off and it rained after it was supposed
to be out of the area that it rained
after well then five o'clock is done
and I looked at the radar.
Nope.
Nope.
No 10% chance 10% chance and they
started working it in was watching
them with the tractors and that working
in then all of a sudden it rained
and rained hard after they opened
it up basically working it in, which
that's the one that killed it.
I mean they try and they even tried
for 45 minutes after that and it was
just, you know, as overcast, never did
get sunny as a little chilly and it
just, it just wouldn't dry.
Yeah.
And they had 6000 to win like they're
one of the biggest sprint car races
ever.
Yeah, there.
Yeah.
And they had some good modifies,
which surprised me because Butler
is paying high dollar for modifies
and but Sherman's or and all them
are there.
Dalton Lane was there.
Tony Anderson.
Yeah.
I mean, they had the, you know, a lot
of super tough modifies too.
Yeah.
So bummer.
And like I said, it's we're in
drought conditions here.
Yeah.
I was surprised.
It's one place that basically
ran.
I mean, yeah, Anderson got ring
delayed and I think Lincoln Park
got ring delayed because there's
a little shower came through Indiana
that kind of popped up out of
nowhere that day, but it just
would not leave Mount Pillar.
I was sitting there.
So we got there about
four when the pick gates open
and it started raining
then it quit.
And I kept it rain three
times after that.
Yeah.
I mean, it just wouldn't leave.
Yeah, it's wild.
Like just as Mount Pillar.
Do you know I've been caught
in a tornado there?
I've been caught in a high
windstorm there.
Well, it was like the world
100 Friday night.
We're sitting around after
the first feature
and it started raining.
And it was like, no chance
of rain all weekend.
And it was like, what in the
you look at the radar.
There's one little cell
that moved over Aldora.
Luckily, it wasn't that hard
or anything.
Yeah, we slowed us down
for like 10 minutes, maybe,
but it really didn't do
anything to impact
like Mount Pillar got.
And it's just like, what in the hell?
You know, we're in total
drought conditions up here, at least.
It's wild this late in the year.
Yeah.
But yeah, we're still
having 80 plus degree days.
Yes.
And we're supposed to be in the
high 70s, the low 80s
for it looks like next 10, 12 days.
Yeah.
I think Monday next week
is the start of fall
and it's supposed to be like 86.
Yeah.
Which it's like, what in the hell?
Yeah.
Global warming.
I'm sorry.
Climate change.
It's not global warming.
That would that would assume
it's a problem for everybody.
Climate change.
It's just our problem.
Right.
Remember?
Right.
So but it'll make sense
because sometimes in July
and June it was cold.
Yeah.
I was wearing a hoodie at the dream
and a hoodie at the world.
Yeah.
Go figure.
It was cold world with a hundred
weekend.
Yeah.
Well, I was I bore short
Saturday night with a hoodie
thinking I'll be fine.
And I regretted it.
I should have wore freaking jeans.
It was cold.
But fun.
Nonetheless.
Yeah.
So other thing going on
kind of close to us,
so close to us.
One of our local tracks
Fremont was hosting
the All-Star Circuit of
Champions for two nights
for the Jim Ford Classic
Friday and Saturday two nights
two races finale
two nights two races
one winner one winner craziness
Cap Henry.
Yes.
Both nights Saturday night
and look like he was going to
win then all of a sudden he
yeah him and kill Thomas
came in if you listen
to everybody in the pits.
Yeah.
Kill Thomas had a hell of a
charge with like
I mean coming to the checker
it was you know
unknown even yes and Cap
was able to get off of Ford
just fast enough.
Gail made made the past
but it just didn't stick.
Yeah.
But yeah that's his last four
All-Star races he's entered
he swept he swept the attic
ambush.
That's right.
He did not go to the Wayne
County race.
Yeah.
So he's won four or last
five All-Star races
and the one he didn't win
he wasn't there.
Yeah.
And yeah look sells just
to highlight from Saturday
but look like a Jim Ford
type of track.
Yeah.
Back in the slow motion for sure.
Yeah it was wild slick
black slick surface Jim Ford
always liked it like that.
Yeah.
You know love it hated
whatever but it just seemed
maybe fitting you know
maybe not a lot of people
happy about it but hey
you still got a good result
at the end of the race.
So yeah.
Yeah.
Came down to the big battle
and then John Ivy speaking
of old style Fremont
won the 305s.
Wow.
The one a main
because they did double a
man's in such Snyder
won the other one
but the one was
one Snyder was in our
buddy Chad Wilson
charged from 12th the third.
Yeah.
The trucks Craig dipman.
Gotcha.
Got a truck win
and Steve Miller.
Oh it was like Oak Shade
reunion night.
Yeah.
No kidding.
Good Lord night.
Geez.
Yeah.
So yeah.
Cap one what five grand
Friday night.
Yeah.
Ten grand Saturday Saturday.
So like you said
pretty good.
Couple weeks of racing for
Cap 17 or 18 wins.
I think it's 17 though.
Yeah.
18 wins on the air.
Yeah.
Pretty cool.
I didn't hear much
otherwise.
Well the points for the
All-Stars
was settled
which is kind of
an interesting arrangement
will say different
because they do this split
the new car owner points
and their championship there
and there's the driver's
points
and I don't know
how they split it
because I think it's
25,000 to win
but I believe
that it's split.
I think each one
pays 1250
and if you win both
this holiday but
two different ones
Kale
Thomas
his team
the 49 team
won the car owners one
because if we remember
right trade Jacob started
the year in that
didn't last
and Kale Thomas come in
so that team won
the car owners one
and the drivers one
Caleb Henry
took the drivers
the championship
because Kale Thomas
wasn't in first few races
of Kale
at the start of the year
in 49
he would have been
champion
yes
but yeah
so split
I
it used to be 50-50
or close to 50-50
I don't know how it is now
I'm looked
I didn't realize
is doing two car
two points
or maybe
and I don't know
maybe it's the whole
points deal too
I mean
because I did read
I think I read somewhere
where the points
championship
so it was going by drivers
or car owner points
not driver points
I don't know
yeah
I'm not sure
but
but I know the crown
Caleb Henry
the drivers points
champion
so I mean
there has to
I would think
there would be some
type of split
yeah
sure
yeah
to be
determined on that
I guess I haven't
heard specifically
and I'm looking at
post right now
nothing really says
one way or the other
what what it all means
but
yeah
congrats to
both teams
I guess
but
you know Caleb
had a hell of a year
Kale
and obviously
kind of not starting
the year off
with them
and
losing a ride
which
opened them up
for
jumping into
you know
into that car
right
we know
Kale's always been
looking to race
with a
kind of full-time
series
yes
or more so
so
yeah
interesting
interesting
stuff
yes for sure
yes trying to read
the rules and see
what the points
but it doesn't really say
interesting
I was a
okay
there's a guy
yeah
there's a guy named
Joseph Saldana
who got arrested
in Putnam County
but it looks like
he's got a lipstick
Ohio address
oh no
sorry
I just came across this
and I'm like
Putnam County Ohio
Sheriff's office
did I look at it
so Saldana
and I was like
what
and I said
Joseph Saldana
I was like
because he was just in
Fremont
right
it's not
Putnam County Indiana
is it
because Putnam County
Indiana is
where he would live
Lipstick Ohio
is what it says
the address
where they went to
serve an arrest warrant
so
that's why I was confused
because I was like
oh shit
Joey was just in town
because he was at
they did like
an all-star reunion
yeah
which had a lot of points
yes
looked like
a really cool time
I saw Joey was there
was Frank Kerr there
Frankie was there
yep
Jack Hewitt was there
Jack Hewitt
obviously check coming on
yeah
champ is there
looks like a really cool time
actually
Rob Cheney
seeing him there
yeah
so
yeah
if the all-star circuit champions
will award team owners
owners
question mark
or
quotation marks
and sprint car drivers
drivers
quotation mark
points based upon
question mark quotation mark
yeah
what a difference there
that same thing
points based upon
their finish
in each series race
event as set forth
in section 8
of the rule book
we're getting official now
at the end of the series
at the end of the scheduled season
the all-star circuit champion
shall announce one
all-star circuit champion
owner champion
and one driver's champion
posted championship prize money
will be awarded
solely to the car owners
based on the final
end of the season
owner's championship standing
is based upon their cumulative point
total for the series
tiebreakers for owner points
and driver points
will be
in the following order
number of wins
number second place
number of thirds
and so on
until the tie is broken
so sounds like the owner's points
is what matters
it's kind of what it sounds like
they have a driver's points
Anna
or section H is
but
we'll see section H
I see
it's numbered
it's numbered
interesting
yeah
it's numbered
so there is no section H
because it's all numbered
it's like
section one
three four
okay
I gotta ask you
I'm not just doing it
to be a dick
although it's a little bit
of what I'm asking you
are you sure
it's the current year
deal
it's not
yeah
twenty twenty five
okay
that's not but everything
yeah
it's like
dude
this is Arctic
can at the top
that's like five years old
yeah
no
no ball star
it's a section H of this
there's no H is all
two point four
two point five
nice
interesting
so
that would mean
section H
there's
three point six point four
section H
but that's at
as a nothing new
championship
so if you go to owner
Roodsick would be one
yep
and racers for life
is number two
that's
that the one on one
yes
okay
and then
Lane racing is three
Brian Grove is four
so
interesting
yeah
I don't know
I guess we'll
Dwayne
Dwayne knows
who to talk to
to get the official answer
on that
so
yes
I don't know
we'll
we'll see what
out split
but
there is a driver's champion
I don't think it's paid
but
just upon the finish
she was at four
so there's actually
H
words
posted championship prize
money will be awarded
solely to the car
owners
based on the final
end of the season
owners
champion
standings
so
that sounds like
sounds like the owners
what
gets paid
that sounds like
the drivers
championship
you just get a title
trophy
cool
but also
maybe not cool
depends who you are
I guess
I don't know
that's for others
to battle
we won't worry
about that
right now
no
what else is going on
we had
so that's kind of
butler
raced
yes
Tyler Gunn
Tyler won
that's right
Knox County
raced
last night
yeah
Tyler Gunn
Tyler Gunn
won there too
that was a fast race
yeah
they were done
by like
930
at 18 cars
and it looked like
they took a bath
but
I don't know
from
some of the videos
I seen
there wasn't anybody
in at least
the bottom half
for the stands
anywhere
got you
so I'm not sure
I've never been there
and I don't know
what all happened
but I know
I think
they just kind of came
from the healer
was not happy
I know that
got you
because he had a picture
driving around the track
with one finger
sticking out
saying
I had so much fun racing
with fast
last night
nice
somebody's like
yeah
I don't know what the rule
is this
and what the rule
and
so evidently there was some
I've done some controversy
I
I don't know
I don't watch it
I didn't see
but
Tyler Gunn
two wins
two different cars
last night
was his family car
the
one car
and two big wins
because it paid
thirty seven
hundred and twenty five
dollars to win
at Butler
well
that the
Reeves Memorial
well okay
and his four thousand
to win
at
so he
knocks County
yeah
yeah I think
Knox County
kind of came back
from the dead
a couple years ago too
so
I hope they didn't lose
their aspect
time
yeah
excuse me
we're keeping you up
Elliott
I was past my bed time
now it's probably the
Angels N.V.M.
sipping on
kind of local
but also kind of not local
but in the state of Ohio
Jim Dunn Memorial
yes
Muskegum County
a bunch of late
a lot of guys
went there
yeah a bunch of late
model guys
even the
team Dirtner cars
that's right
they were there
in attendance
in the big big
blue boat
bull bulldozer
bulldozer
was there
yeah
I'm
interesting enough
Devon won
Devon Marine
okay different
not your Devon
not our Devon
yeah
now our Devon
ended up pulling off
with 10 laps to go
so he overheated
was running top five
I think to start the race
but
had some contact
those those boys over
in Zanesville
can be a little rough
sometimes
it sounds like
sounds like racing
an oak shake
yeah pretty much
well
just bigger
and dustier
I think
if that's possible
so I told Devon
I'm taking a drink of water
they don't call it
duskegum
for no reason
but anyway
yeah Devon
ran got the win
hometown track
hometown track
home home backyard
yeah
literally
legitimately
probably drove the car
from the shop there
but kudos to him
10,000 the win
think they had 34 cars
on hand
so pretty good car
that's a big one
Jerry Bowersock
was there
yeah
Eddie Carrier
I think
yeah
Eddie Carrier
Junior was there
Tyler Carpenter
Tyler Carpenter
yeah
yeah
so good
good car count
quite a ways away
I know for our buddy
Devon
so
I see Brayden
made the feature too
provisional
for Ironman
so
still
no
nope
he's a kid
got to keep him honest
let's
let's
got to keep him honest
got to keep him on
I don't like provisional
so you know that
I know
so tell
tell Brayden
he shouldn't have started
the feature
yeah
so he parked that shit
put it on the trailer
where it belongs
got to keep him humble
man
got to keep him home
yeah
anyway
a word of outlaws
were also in action
I guess I should say
one more
Lawrenceburg
Speedway raced
yeah
Northern All-Star
Northern
right
Northern All-Stars
yeah
Northern All-Stars
yeah
the whole series
James Essex
brought back
which whatever
Josh Rice
won
I believe
he did
and one
his brother
a second
yeah
as I say
I figured you'd have to
bring that into it
yes
but I believe
that was also
the championship
it was
and he won the championship
I think he's won it
two times
already
paid I think
what
it's five or six
I think it's five
grand to win
the other night
yeah
yeah was
they only had like
21
or 24 car
yeah they're like
23 24
but
like a pretty good race
yeah
and I know
to be honest
Lawrenceburg doesn't really
advertise what they got
going on a lot
very well
so
I didn't even know
what was happening
the new people at
Lawrenceburg
are bad about
getting out
what's going on
yeah
so
may have ended up
with more cars
somehow
because it's really
not that hard
for guys
up this way
to get down
that well
and
you'd think
all the Florence guys
went
which most of them
were
I mean
Trevor Landrum
and
yeah
a lot of those guys
obviously the rice
Josh Rice
Florence car
so
they had a lot of those guys
but
yeah
it's definitely
not as much
as I would have thought
but
Crystal Michigan
also race
their
finale
Great Lakes Nationals
they call it
I believe
looking to see
who I want
I cannot
freaking remember
no Kurt Spalding
won the Modified's
a butler
so he was that butler
ah
yes
of course
they don't post
results
everything
they even have like
late models
yeah
oh yeah
that day
yeah
that was their
oh
McCallier one
I know
the one night
I guess
I did see that
or maybe
they just race
Saturday late months
I can't remember
but
I think it's one of those
deals
where they do
practice
one day
I call
or he
is one day
features
one day
which is stupid
yeah
that's
the Michigan way
of
doubling
now can you
have for three days
yeah
it's doubling
your back
back gate
pay
pretty much
which
I've had this conversation
with Michigan
people
will say
well
they're flagmands
no
smarter than that
me and
TJ
sideways
actually
back when they were doing
thirty two thousand
for the
merit race
and all that
and that's exactly
what they did
right
and
and he said
yeah
they wouldn't be able
to pay a purse
right
in Michigan
without doing
that
because
that's just the difference
in racing
up there
so right
but anyway
I know
McCallier one
Saturday
Friday Saturday
just said
I don't really know
get better results
Crystal
sorry
and
my race up there
this we can do
a Mount Pleasant
Mount Pleasant
yeah
it's paying
pretty decent money
yes
word about
lost
print cars
in action
out
West
Cali for
you
Bakersfield
but Kofo
getting himself
the win
and then
the following night
North Pole
nightmare
the
Alaskan assassin
the snowman
Bill Balock
to
got a great winners
got to win at
Paris
pretty awesome
that was what
Paris's first
their first trip back
in a long time
or so
yeah
quite a while
so
because there's only
getting like
1518 cars
and they had 20 some
they started
24 in a feature
they had 20 something
the other night
so
yeah
Balock
gravel second
of course
can't
just count him
but
buddy
Kofoid third
Garrett
Williamson
fifth
but he's been
great
that'll
fifth
yeah
he's been killing
the same deal
gravel started
out hotter
in helm
buddy
started out slow
but
he's really closed
the points
I mean
yeah
I don't think he's
gonna win
I mean
they have some
races left
but
144 back
buddies in second
yeah
he's closed
it a lot
but think
about this
he's
raced
56 races
they both started
56
gravel
has 13 wins
buddy has
11
that's
pretty close
yeah
gravel
has
48 top
fives
buddy has
35 top
fives
which
was bad
that's seven
that's only
seven different
top
10s
gravel has
54
in 56
starts
and buddy
has
48
top
10s
that's just
like
it's not
much of a difference
like you said
it's
those races
where you're
outside
top
10
that you salvage
just had friends
a shitty night
buddy
yeah
it's just
you know
at one time
he's like
man
maybe I
maybe I'm not
good
or you remember
yeah
in the
you know
like
may
like
maybe I
ain't good enough
to do this
you know
I mean he was
doubting himself
and
whatever they
come to Jesus
meeting
they had
I mean
maybe
Jesus did come down
to him
and talk to him
because they've been
yeah
they've been
gelled
I mean they've
what
whatever
they was
missing
they found
in there
which is great
I mean
we all know
buddy
had talent
anybody
don't think
he has talent
don't
know that much
about racers
yeah
I mean
hate to say it
but
but he's
one of those guys
that
everything he said
and he's been
fast in
and
so
it would have been interesting
to see what
it started out
as hot as
gravel
but
hey
you never know
they're still
still a month ago
should happens
gravel had a
terrible
into the season
and gravel had
bad luck at the King's Royal
so you'd finish
wasn't bad luck
but
yeah
to start his night
didn't end so well
yeah
you never know
I mean
you got
Pennsylvania
that's why the race
and yeah
yeah
but I think the national opens
just show up points
that's the thing
I hate about it
as some of those
are just show up points
and
any special format
it's just show up points
so it's the
champion of the regular
season
yeah
champion of the
of the year
because
King's Royal
Knoxville
those they throw at the
points
because
they don't give
provisionals
which you hate
if they give provisionals
so I don't know
I don't know what the
right answer is
it should be
I know what you're gonna
points for every race
yeah
full points
honestly
at that high of a level
why wouldn't you
I mean you're the best
in the world
right
right
you should make the
shit
sorry
exactly
I'll give you a shivers
inverted or not
get your ass to the
front
I mean
Donnie shots
and have any problem
for like what
10 or 11 years
in a row
getting the front
knock
yeah
yeah
I mean
Ryan Tim
so you didn't have
a problem
getting to the front
no
and he's not
even a wall
driver
yeah
he's supposed to suck
yeah
he's a kid
what's he know
he's supposed to be
terrible
it's not a wall
for a high limit
not in the high
limit room
he's not even old enough
for the high
limit
that's right
Christ
that's a question
if I limit
series
what's the youngest
your drivers
can be
because technically
they can't be
in high level
there's laws
chase
Randall's
ain't it
somebody's breaking
the law
fastest chicken
in the West
or something
quickest chicken
quickest
chicken
all right
anyway
people that aren't
chickens
light model
drivers
word of
outlaw
light models
in action
down
in
the southeast
to believe
both were Georgia
I know the second
I need more
need more is Georgia
right
yeah
I believe so
need more
geography lessons
I guess is
what I would say
but
Nick Hoffman
more cowbell
gets his fifth
win of
2025
he did
and need more
and then Saturday
night
a little bit of a surprise
Air Force
Ashton winger
that's right
we took the lead
like seven
eight laps
in
and
I think you led
from there
so
I saw a little
bit of a replay
on that
was a
was a
great race there
for
a few laps
but was early
in the race
and then
yeah
looks like he was able to
take about the race
on Thursday
I did
what is it
Castro flow
and I
are not cast
right
and where
but flow night
in America
that's right
it's got
Blumquist Memorial
yes
thank you
I did forget
about that
I watched
and I forget
who I know
was an
RTJ
yes
I believe
shit
I don't remember
it was
Davenport
wasn't
yeah
it was
Davenport
Davenport
was I think
an RTJ
I watched
it on and off
and
I watched it
and I had
I had
think
who I can
I could say
whatever
no one out
there's gonna
fucking
believe me
anyway
so
yeah
yeah
that's right
cause O'Neill
and
Marlar
Cameron Marlar
was coming
on O'Neill
and you thought
maybe they're
gonna do some
but just enough
lap traffic
dot
lap traffic
dodging
and
Davenport
got the win
so
yes
yeah
they had
41 car
show
so
they had some
good field
yes
good field
yeah
I didn't watch
much of it
Vic Hill had
a tough
week
I think
he lost
a nephew
like
in the middle
of that
like
the day
or two
before
I think
that race
and he's
obviously
kind of
in charge
of bull's
gap
and
track
prep
and all that
so
I'm sure
it was
a tough week
on him
for sure
did you
have it on
when the
street stock features
on before
the big
no
I did not
had cops
and victory lane
Oh is that
the one
where they
disqualified
the guy
yeah then
then they
re-qualified
them or something
yes
then
made the final decision
what was the cops
for it
I guess I never
heard
well
security
because
security
because
I guess
you know
second place guy
was all
pissed off
because
I guess a rule
something about
you can't
have an open
back in
I think
Oh
or you can't
have a covered
back in
and I think
he did
then they're
like
well that's
I don't know
we's getting
bits and pieces of
it then
the winner
was the winner
then he wasn't
then he was again
then he wasn't
then third place
thought
both is going to be
disqualified
so cops
and they literally
had the cops make
the final decision
to look at the
rule book
and make the
which I've never
heard of a
local
what the
fuck
yeah
I've never heard of
the local
police
department
making a decision
from the cops
to be like
top three
come here
yeah
fight
walks away
the winner
in front of the grandstand
let's go
whichever one
you can stand up
and take a taser
is going to win
no biting
no kicking
take your one
two
foul
and let's go
no checking the oil
no shots to the nuts
otherwise
game on
it's like
yeah
I don't know
it was
it and
that was tennis
we did that a
bull's gap
on floor racing night
yeah
it's funny
oh Jesus
the announcers
were just
I mean
they was
just laughing
like
okay
well
well
but they're
just trying to get
the guy to
interview the cop
and they're like
yeah
it's probably
not a good career
move
why'd you
pick him
as the winner
yeah
well
maybe as his cousin
or maybe as his
brother
and had a
fucking doesn't
doughnut
sitting off to the side
going
hey over here
somebody probably paid
for somebody's campaign
before it's like
hey remember
what I donated
your campaign
were you
down at the
local hall
were you voted
in a share
if that's what
I thought
I remember
down at
pancake supper
with a rinse
yeah
so was boss
hog there
with the fucking
cat
and everything
Jesus Christ
oh
geez
out
you know
who should have been there
you know
what's his name
be for
D justice
should have been there
that's right
what is it
got my
charge
geez
six pack
yeah
I love that movie
but yeah
so I don't know
it was
it was quite entertaining
yeah
sounds like
everybody was
laughing
it was
very fun
I
I bet you
if you look it up
in the record
book
there's
not too many races
that a cop
had to determine
yeah
the rules
and who
is going to win
I did not
yeah
I didn't
know
I saw
like
a clip of it
and I thought
someone said
someone from
South Carolina
so I thought it was
oh yeah
it was
is somebody
that run
usually run
there
yeah
so I thought
it was like
down in
the Carolina
somewhere
and I was just like
oh
it was a regular
fucking Saturday
night
Carolina
whatever
oh no
is during the
Castro night
okay
yeah
yeah
let the cops
pick the winner
well
hey
it happens
High limit
racing at
Lernerville
this past
weekend
was it
was this the
Don Martin
they call it
now
or
no
remember
no
Don Martin
was during
Commonwealth clash
that's what this one is
yeah
Don Martin's
usually after
the royal
right
yeah
two nights
racing
Mr.
I'm sorry
two nights
racing
two first time
winners
oddly enough
doesn't seem like
they should be
first time
winners
but
I guess
technically
first time
points winners
because
it sounds like
Tanner Thorsen
I think
I saw that
was the disclaimer
like
first time
points
winner
or maybe
it was personally
I don't know
but
anyway
I suppose
it was
both
first time
winners
I didn't know
if they won
some kind of
kind of
I suppose
they like
four nights
four
last
four races
suppose
it's first time
winners
with Highland
that's right
because
Ryan
Tim's one
and
yeah
well
writes a one
the night before
so
yeah
or
the night
before
the Tuskey
so
last three races
have been
three different
one
three new winners
but
$30,000
and I
I watched some
of his
it was
kind of
like
well
he started up
front
yeah
is leading
then
he dropped
like
fourth or
fifth
yeah
and it was like
okay
where should
he run
because
he was
trying out
lines
and he found
this thing
on the
bottom
that was
yeah
then all
sudden
he came out
nowhere
well like
sweet
came out
nowhere
on the top
side
yeah
and they're like
okay
sweet's
going to blow
by
Rico
and win
then all
sudden
Rico went
from first
to fourth
and
a turn
yeah
and
on something on the
bottom
and he is
hooked up
yeah
he started
on the
pole
and
looked the
part
for a while
but
yeah
ended up
like
Dwayne said
going back
a bit
coming back
and taking
the win
yeah
it's cool
another guy
who's
having a
lot of
success
and
in a car
everyone
knows
Ryan Smith
yes
finished third
but
he's had a lot
of good runs
in that
69
K car
he led
a lap
to
and he's
only been
in that car
a handful
of times
this year
yes
so yeah
actually
it's pretty good race
I watched
mm-hmm
yeah
and I had a
decent car
how
yeah
like Schaefer
was
stayed there
didn't go
the all-stars
yeah
which I
knew he was
I mean
yeah
it's his
backyard
yeah
probably has
to at
that point
yeah
so their points
just kind of
interesting
right
so is
only night
I'm sorry
ridgid
sons
because technically
it's
owners
19 points
behind
Rico
and
Brad sweet
25 points
behind
yeah
is
so pretty cool there
I'm
in Eldora
this weekend
yes
well
speaking of Eldora
did you see
Jason
personally
what he's
taken on
everything
everything
race and everything
he is
racing
literally
he's
gonna be the
GQ
to the
four crown
this year
yeah
midget
sprint
silver crown
non-wings
print
and
a 360
is around
362
I don't know
who's
yeah
because they've been playing musical drivers a lot in that car
so
or I was thinking
maybe another
horseman
one
because horseman
has to
know
because I know
mason
hanging
and supposed to be racing
I talked to mason
actually came up
and talked to me
a Kokomo
a couple weeks ago
and said
he was racing
Eldora
well
and that
but
I know
hanging in
or
I know
horseman
got another sprint car
but
the
that was
based in
Archibald
Ohio
a couple weeks ago
nice
a cow
is sold out now
okay
sold out to horseman
because horseman
like
hey
if you want to come
drive it
you can drive it
just let me know
when
that cool
so maybe be
that one too
I don't know
yeah
I don't know
but yeah
it could be
51
yeah
I'm not sure
I don't know
sure
it's probably gonna be
a fast one
yeah
horseman
stuff's
usually
no slouch
so
but yeah
you
you could be right
it definitely
could be the
51
yeah
but days
and personally
taking on
all four
main classes
and the
360 class
he'll be in
five different classes
all weekend
yeah
pretty crazy
so
he's a wheelman though
he's
is he's
pretty talented
he's been known
to race at all
and just
you know
he had pretty emotional
win the other night
I think
like his dad
was there
I mean
you just think
where he was
a couple years ago
and
I mean
you're still talking to
a kid
and he's still a kid
but he
might be 20 now
yeah
I don't even know
you're still 20
that
you know
a couple years
know
wasn't even sure
he's gonna live
let alone
never walk again
yeah
I was diagnosed
to not
really walk again
that
you know
just
was determined
and
did therapy
big time
and got lucky
you know
got blessed
enough
that
he did walk again
and move again
and
yeah
you know
so that whole story
is just
amazing
and still be
that talented
yeah
still get opportunities
and still not
lose the stuff
I mean
sometimes
when you have
a bad injury
like that
you just
yeah
let it get to you
yeah
I mean
like
physically you're fine
but your head
may not be
yeah
all the way back
from it
and like
you just
can't face
one
going as
as hard as
maybe in the past
right
yeah
so
Google's them
and it's cool to see
I mean
every time
I've seen him
before
and after
I mean
he's always been
super nice
you know
good kid
I think he's
you know
I think he's
always respected
his stuff
and
where he's came from
type thing
not like
some of the
yeah
really being one
you think of
wrecking
shit
no
I mean
he's always been
really respectful
very polite
when I've seen him
before
and after
and
it's cool to see
you know
situations like
that
be good
yeah
back when
like he said
earlier
in the deals
like
yeah
I want to come back
to race
but
right now
we just got to get
the
moving my
you know
his side
he couldn't even
move the
one side
for a while
so
I mean
yeah
the news thing
I have
you see
Mike Marlar
walking away
yes
immediately
from
Skyline Motor Sports
Tyler Brunning's dad
Greg Brunning's team
sounds like they're
still going to be
yeah
they're so
sponsoring
yeah
he's going back
to Ronnie Delk
who's
starting up a
team again
or maybe never
fully closed
this team
probably going to
do a hidden
miss schedule
not going to run
a full-time
national series
is going to
but supposedly
Greg Brunning
still going to be
involved
sponsoring
them
and in that team
so yeah
it's kind of weird
that it was like
a
immediate
departure
but we're still
working with
them kind of thing
but
I don't know
maybe that's
just
how it works
and then
that's kind of
the question
is
a burning
going to
keep two
cars
or just
go back down
to one
and
with Tyler
and then
the sponsor
Marlar
and say
well
at least I
don't have
right
all the
shit to pay for
I could just
pay for
a portion
of the shit
right
so
I don't know
interesting
yeah
which
Marlar's
kind of
always been
more
that guy
anyway
but
yeah
I guess
I forgot
Davenport
Mars
raced at
Davenport
two nights
Jason
Fager
won both of them
and then
Quincy
on Sunday night
we're Tony
Jackson
Junior
one
what else
am I missing
Dwayne
I
I don't know
I don't know
if you've seen this
did you see
we haven't heard
when
Pittsburgh
is what
oh yeah
yeah
supposedly
we've heard
you see
who's
who the video
hinted
is going to be
at Eldoror
for the
dirt track
world
championship
yeah
I can't remember
who though
Ben and Steel
Oh
in the
master book car
yes
got you
yeah
he started
at Brown
still down
oh yeah
well they did a video
on it says
one's
one's
71
come back out
and
they had
one of his old dirt track
world championship
trophies on there
wiping it off
says
we think
this race looks good
Oh
okay
I didn't see that
I
I think I saw
maybe
a clip
or a
a caption
but I never
watched it
or
yeah
they're past
so
dusting off
some of the old dirt track
world championship
trophies on the hood
saying
well this looks like
a good race
to go to
well that'd be
I mean
it's like Don O'Neill
is it going to be racing
against his son
and oh yeah
I mean
that's a hell of a race
to bring out
kind of a
I mean
I know masters
will
spin around
but they're
trying to get on the
the current
curve of
chassis
like it's
that's
the hell of a one
to bring it out
when I don't
feel like
they've had a lot
going on
but
I mean
he had some
decent races
in that car
at Brownstown
and such
but obviously
very
very different track
right
yeah
so
yeah
I thought
I didn't
figure you've
seen that
or else
you would have been talking
about it
because I know
yeah
they can't buy you guys
at the world
100 and such
are used to
or
yeah
oh yeah
still there
son
Don was on his golf cart
with their
puppy
Rotweiler
couple of times
so supposedly
supposedly is going to be
running the dirt track
World Championship
yeah
that'll be
wild
here's one that just
popped up today
522
Tazwell, Tennessee
Brian Smith
longtime late model
competitor
at Tazwell
has
agreed to
purchase the track
from
Gary Hall
hmm
not our Brian Smith
that we know
correct
oh dang it
correct
but
yeah
I know
Tazwell has been a
it's 61 year old track
super
super high banked
it's a
you know
popular place
but I know
that times
they have trouble
getting cars
because it's
so banked
and high powered
it's
kind of a
did you see
as opposed to
Pettensboro
still going to race
this year
I guess
I gave up on it
never heard
anything else
mostly came out
last week
or s
srx
or s
whatever
XR
XRS
XRS
whatever they are
srx
X
srx was Tony
Stewart's deal
yeah
not that
whatever
whatever
XR
XR
XR
there it is
sorry we had too many letters
yeah
no I
XR
crook
is that what it's called
I mean
sorry
he's gonna be
not emailing
he's gonna be
emailing
the thing again
he commented
I think
send all emails
to Elliott
Aldridge
but all he said
was it was
so amazing
and
great
but I don't think it was
yeah
anyway
but anyways
yeah
he's got 14 different
Facebook pages
none of them
are fucking
updated
to say
anything
Mansfield
officially scheduled
race
yes
yes
thank you
for
I shared it
on Dirt Nerds
but I did
forget to
yeah
forget to put
our notes
that's right
supposedly
from the Great Vine
I heard
rumors that's
first of
several
fast races
there
in
2026
got you
I heard a number
I don't know
how true
it is
but the rumor
mill
is
you'd
put
about
one a month
there
okay
yeah
I mean
I don't
hate it
um
from April
to October
yeah
that's
that's a good way
to break it
in
get started
yeah
what about
I know
this
the here's
where we
walk
the little
tight rope
of
the Dirt Nerds
Jacksonville
Illinois
oh yes
I
I
watch
that clip
and
I saw
did you
see the post
today
I did
that Kenny
put out
I thought
it was
it was
I mean
it's a great
good way
of handling it
yeah
it's great
that he owned
up to it
but
yeah
why in the hell
if you're
the only
eyes
are you
leaving
if you're
running the
radio
yeah
to go get
sportsman
payout
checks that
I mean
that was
that was that important
what if
that's coming
Newton
that flip
laying there
three laps
upside down
yeah
and from
I heard
it was pretty
nasty flip
and his
bell
was wrong
Oh
yeah
I didn't see
like
I didn't see
the flip
but
you couldn't
see it
from
because of
how the tracks
people saying
that
it
wrong
he's
bell
my thing is
what if
we would have
caught on fire
yeah
yeah
the announcer
was
and yeah
the announcer
so
who
and
and I get it
he had ownership
but
this is something
okay
it's great
yes
but
that's great
and everybody's like
while you're human
like anybody
this is too big
of a mistake
to go
well
sorry guys
we'll do better
next time
there's guy
flipped over
for three laps
upside down
the possibly
could have been hurt
and God forbid
thank God
he didn't
catch on fire
yeah
and the announcer
yelling
why aren't we
throwing
somebody
yeah
which
it sounds like
now
it says
well
now people
know
they can
get on the radio
and call
red flag
when I'm not there
nobody's smart enough
to do that before
yeah
I mean
come on
yeah
I mean
you can
you can have the whole
laundry list
of excuses
that you want
and I get it
and I'm not trying to be
too
because I like
Jacksonville
and
here's a big enough
man
come out
I screwed up
but
you can
not have
I mean
unfortunately
somebody lost their
life there
a few years ago
mm-hmm
because of
not good situation
not
that it was that
I mean
they're just
the infield
was open
and
guy come flying
through there
you can't have
major screwups
all the time
because
next thing you know
the more
issues
you have
like that
you know
lawyers
ambulance
chasing
lawyers
are going to be
Oh my God
and you know
your insurance
is not going to get cheaper
and it's
live on
a streaming
deal
and
you
what
if you start
losing cars
and sponsors
then
it's going to be
the internet
problem
because
everybody's
giving crap
for
screwing up
one time
and you're all
human
and we all
screw up
which
I get
you do
that's a major
screw up
that's
that's one of those
that's like
so literally
you know
again
I don't want to
pile on
because I really
like Jacksonville
and Kenny's
done a great job
yes
but at the same time
like
you don't have
one person
watching the race
yeah
like
the one person
watching the
race
that
should say
something
wasn't
like
that's him
he wasn't
got checks for the
sports
if you go to
Attica
if you go to
Fremont
if you go to
Half their tracks
there's
14 people
in the tower
yeah
all watching
the race
well he said
most of
people had their
backs turn
and he
give us reasons
why and they're
all excuse
well
which
sounds like
now
they have
dedicated people
which
why on earth
would you not
have dedicated
people before
on a quarter
mile
track
yeah
of
if it's
a quarter
mile
yeah
being
that the
things in
infields
there has to be
one person
watching the
front stretch
one back
in the back
stretch
and all
times
that's
capable
of saying
hey
there's
car upside down
yeah
let's
I mean
thank God
it wasn't on fire
that's my thing
I mean
yeah for sure
I mean
yeah
and then the
now sir
which
he was
doing his
job
it sounds like
he's
pretty upset
about it
yeah
um
doing his
and nobody
do anything
about
they're
like well
they
wasn't sure
that they could
get on
the radio
and call
a red flag
there's
a guy
upside down
yeah
I mean
yeah
I don't
there's
a lot
of common sense
not being
common senses
yeah
don't get me
wrong
I hate
to bag
on him
because
I like
to place
and
the guys
done a lot
of work
and he's like
hey
I'm the one
screwed up
but why in the hell
are you going
and getting
sportsman
payout
checks
they're
in the middle
of the
Sprint car
feature
yeah
I mean
they can
wait
10
minutes
yeah
especially
when the
scenarios
like that
like
obviously
I wouldn't
say that's
normally
an issue
like
at
Attica
or something
if
you know
because
I have
runners
yeah
yeah
people
that do that
and
but like
you know
the fact
that it's
like
well
this one
guy
who watches
the race
to call
it
accidents
out
isn't
going to be there
to do that
there needs to be a second
third fourth
backup
yeah
needs to be
somewhere
yeah
like that
was pretty
pretty
wild
for that
to happen
kudos to the
announcer
I mean
and that's one thing
you know
like
it wasn't
I mean
give Kenny
respect
you know
some
respect
in his post
he said
you know
hey
I got
nothing wrong
with the way
the announcer
did anything
like
he had every
right to be
oh yeah
he was this
what
should have been
yeah
I mean
what she should
I mean
it
I know you're
wrong
yes
he's done a lot of
great deals
and he's
taken ownership
of it
but
that's one of
those mistakes
is like
that can't
happen
yeah
I mean
that's one of
the things
that
I just can't
yeah
that's pretty
pretty big one
of
again
came out
admitted
fault
yes
you know
which
gonna fix it
they're fixing it
which is good
last couple days
they fix it
but
yeah
I mean
damage
I mean
I hope it
don't hurt the car
guys
you know guys
are going to start
about
man
yeah
you know
I mean
and it's a
small track
but it's a
fast little
track
so yeah
it is
you know
and there's
a few kind
of
not
blunt ends
but
you know
turn one's
a little sketchy
if you go
in high
I saw Zach
Hampton flip
a mile
into the air
just Brady
Bacon
that time
yeah
that's right
you know
some of those guys
yeah
I mean
I liked
place
and it's
but it's like
I love that place
let me put it
that way
if it comes to watching
Sprint cars
you have to get
Jacksonville
it's awesome
as neat
as this
awesome
and they do
a great job
but
six
like that
you cannot make
I mean
yeah
so we
would
we dog on them
a little
but again
we love the place
don't want anything
bad to happen
that's why we dog
on them
because it's like
we know
how shit
can happen
in this industry
yeah
so
things are fixed
the fault was
owned up to
all good
but
yeah
we'll see
how things go
in the future
hopefully
we never
worry about it again
yeah
put it that way
hopefully all their
bad
mojos
out of
the
system there
for a while
yeah
because they've had
some bad
luckily
yes
I've had
string of
interesting
the first one
wasn't their fault
I mean
every track
in Illinois
has an open
infield
yeah
that's one thing
I've noticed
going there
I mean
there's not
one track
that
all of them
got open
infields
well
hardly any
protection
for anybody sent in there
and half of them
have the flagman
in the infield
yes
exactly
um
yeah
the
pensboro
thing
it just
it was a post
that says
see you soon
but there's no
date
or anything
there's talking
about
I
I read somewhere
somebody's
article
where they said
they was
United
I think the
ULMS
probably have
something to do
with that
they said
Pennsylvania
it is
racing
it's going
to be in
October
still
blah
blah
blah
blah
I don't know
probably be night
let's
probably do it
October
11th
right
they'll do it
against
freaking
West Virginia
most
supposedly
they're supposed to
work with them
got you
I would imagine
if you want
I mean
honestly
West Virginia
motor speedway
is going to have
a better shot
at this point
the pensboro
will
just because
of the size
of the track
but
mm-hmm
if you want
a shot
for both
the work
well
then I would
yeah
supposedly
they're supposed
to work together
yeah
but yeah
I seen it
at some
article
yeah
um
I don't
know did you see
Danny
Dietrich's
little
rant about
track prep
no
that he posted today
I thought
it was interesting
I did not
um
kind of gave
Ohio
some credit
which was
weird
not that
weird
because
he likes
racing
here
we all know
that
but
uh
we know
there's going
to be some
dust
in Ohio
so
ten hours
ago
he posted
let's
talk about
race track
surfaces
apologize
that this is
long
because
lately
almost every
tracks
in this area
sucks
there are
a few exclusions
at times
what happened
to old-school
track prep
what happened
to using
a disc
to tear
the track
up
what happened
to progressive
banking
what happened
is we have
a dam
lay-lay
tiller
that scratches
about two inches
off the surface
if we're
lucky
and I watch
a track
lay-lay
the other week
and not
add water
during the
daylight
the old days
of prepping a track
must
must be
too far
gone
10 inches
held maybe
14 inches
of curb
cushion
would be nice
if it's
high enough
up the track
make it
technical
make a cushion
that will
make a car
get upset
the style of racing
we had
where we have
to drive
straight as an arrow
through the middle
rubber down
from the left
rear
it's getting old
tracks around here
suck
75% of the time
it's amazing
when we go to Ohio
how things change
we go to Ohio
and all of a sudden
it's a driver's race track
it's no wonder
P.A. tracks
don't have full grain
stands for
semi-regular show
then we turn around
run time trials
10 lap heats
and long
A mains
more laps on our engines
raising costs
for owners
just because
there's a name
on the program
for tonight's event
doesn't mean
we needed more laps
and don't get me
started on
planned fuel stops
do we want to get started
with the fact
that more laps
mean more rubber down
at the end of the night
have you ever seen
someone scratch
the surface of the clay
and throw the clay away
because I haven't
so what do we do
mix the rubber into the clay
after so long
what do you think is
going to happen
more rubber
built into the clay mixture
then rubber
comes up faster
100%
at the end of the day
do tracks realize
how important it is
not to have rubber
put down
on the surface
he says
tracks I challenge you
all to fix it yourself
do something
tracks with a crown
reverse banking
lack of water
get rubber down
some of you have rubber
on the straight aways
and for the love of God
Williams Grove
don't smash down
the damn cushion
when you actually
get one forming
rant over
happy Monday
you filthy animals
he's not wrong
in a lot of it
yeah
I'm just surprised
he said
I go to Ohio
and it's changed
I'm like
what the hell's going
are we living
in reverse
world now
or something
I mean we do
do track
probably
I mean
everybody complains
while it gets
a little dirty
well that's just
the dirt
it's not
the red clay
or stuff like
some of the places
are
you know
I mean
yeah
how dirt's
a little sooty
and sandy
yeah
it's a
it was a
yeah
I didn't
think anything
obviously
it sounds like
it's a
Pennsylvania thing
you know
for me
I go to
well
I've heard people
complain
about Williams
Grove all time
but I've
every time
I've been there
it's been decent
yeah
and I
I mean
going to Port Royal
they seem to
kind of
really do
a really good job
so maybe I'm spoiled
because that's
where I've been the most
you know
the time I went to
Williams Grove
I don't remember it
being
terrible
but I don't
think
the cushion
was pushed up
it was like
middle of the track
kind of thing
there's late models
and sprint cars
and
late models
were pretty much
on the bottom
the whole time
but
I don't remember it
being
terrible
so
yeah
but it's kind of weird
usually we hear
about
bitching about
Ohio track surfaces
and
yeah
last few years
it's been
quite the opposite
I think
so
pretty wild
yes
for sure
and I always love
D&E D trip
for speaking
his mind
whether you like it
or not
you're going to hear
about it
that's right
and most time
he's not far off
yeah
he's
he's one of those guys
that say
you know
I don't agree
with everything
he says
but he's
he's never completely
off base
with a lot of things
right
so
all right
well
you got anything else
comes to mind
I'm missing
I forgot
sure
sure there is
can't think of anything
cool
not that I can
know
not sure
but I don't think so
okay
yeah
I got nothing new
so
I guess
she's Sheldon's video
kind of teasing
had a video
on Twitter of
all the different hats
one
a
five
then he had a thing
going
high limits
outlaws
and he'd
put one on
shaky's head
put one on
and be like
well
well maybe
put one on point
point high limits
yeah
point outlaws
yeah
then the last one's
93
puts it on
and he's like
yeah
interesting
yeah
hear any more
gossip on that one
biggest thing
I keep hearing
is the
teammates with a gravel
but I
I don't know
yeah
doesn't see like that be
yeah
I don't
I don't see that
how
I mean
that's been a rumor
for a few years
I was gonna get
a second car
you know
suppose is
gonna get one
for Donnie
and then
there's gonna get one
you know
so
yeah
I mean
that's before Donnie
that's gonna
for all this
now
if you're looking
you get Donnie
shots of chance
that's who I would pick
but a second car
I mean
nothing in Sheldon
but
I would think
I was wrong
Sheldon's wife
is not from Iowa
I was told
gotcha
so sure
tell me that
after our episode
of course
but
but Ripper's living out there
and
that's why I think
the KCP ride
I do too
but
I don't know
maybe it'll go high limits
I don't know
yeah
maybe you got some big backers
get the 93
I don't know
go high limits
don't you have to have a charter
or something to make any money
or is that
yeah
does that start
does that start
let's buy one
let's start next year
or this
or this year
because first five
then next five
so it's
it's
over the next
okay
start next year
all this year though
no start next year
but so you'll have your 10
no you have
because they have five from last year
Oh they already
okay
so do I
fucking
yeah
you got five from last year
and five for this year
okay
so there's your 10
so yeah
you can't really start
join that series
and
make any good money then
unless you're going to
pay for a
charter
I guess
or drive the 49
nine car
Brad sweet retires
like everybody's saying
yeah
I don't know
I don't think Brad sweet
retire
but you know
it's been the hot rumor
yeah
I don't see it
I could text him
I guess
I don't think
I mean just to be frank
I don't think that series
is
well enough established
now for him to retire
and just be an owner of it
no
like I don't know
I mean
obviously we know
flows involved
but it's not like
Brad's cashing a huge check
off to the side
they're
they're involved
to support the series
how long's flow going to stay on
yeah
on board of it
yeah
because they're showing some of the numbers
the tusky
you see that
I did not
um
what's his name
dirt tracker had it on
no fielder
yeah had uh
the world 100 was like
400 and some thousand
and tusky was up there
but it was
nah I think it was only
it wasn't 400 and some thousand like
yeah
and it tapered down
I think it wasn't even half
I think it was
so make sense
I said
chili bulls
still been the all time
highest that
like
660,000
or something
really
I didn't expect that to be
higher to be honest
so
now
it green
it's depending how they
we had
because of Saturday night
when it always
switched to mav TV
to
well
more so because
like
is that how many people
are watching it
at certain times
because it's just Saturday
I think it said
well yeah
but I'm saying like
even if you're watching
a Saturday
Saturday start to
10 in the morning
so if you only
watch for two hours
in the morning
versus two hours
and not like
yeah
how they capture that
right
that's
right
there's a way
they factor that
so
so I was talking
you know
that oh
this race was less
this race was less
and
it's not like
the all stars
was like
one of the least
I would imagine
um
so it's like
so
where's the regular high limit
shows setting in
if that
I mean
if some of these
are only
30 40 thousand
is that making them
enough to keep
flow is that making
flow enough to keep
yeah
fun and a lot of stuff
you know
and not to mention
if you're
I mean
not to pick on high limits
too much
but we've
we've all seen
some of those races
in the stands
yeah tracks
got to make money
to and
trust me
I know
I know what the
flow people say
they act like
they give these tracks
a dump truck
full of money
it is definitely not
so
you know
some of them
they'll only do
like Fremont
is 50 50
they Fremont
put money
but they wouldn't
so
they're only making
50 feel like
to pack ones
but
some of them
uh
high limits
slash flow
do the whole
person
the whole
you know
give the track
X amount of money
just the least
kind of deal
yeah
and some's
50 50
and some
the tracks are
no
we're doing it
because I know
I know
Fremont is
50 50
and they're like
no next year
we get 100%
or not
is what they tell them
yeah
high limits
because like
you know
Fremont is
home run
for them
and flow
did absolutely
nothing
yeah
I mean
yeah
so it's like
then they
wanted to limit
the employees
and then
all that stuff
they want
you know
crazy stuff
yeah
so
I mean
just from
what we know
of dealing with
our local tracks
and how they've
portrayed
how
things get transferred
and monetary
monetary side of things
it's not
let's put it this way
if you see a track
have a high limit
race on
and their grandstands
aren't full
more than likely
that track
is
losing money
in some way
shape or fashion
right
right
it's not a
10,000
win show
it's a
20 plus
thousand
to win show
with the
$80,000
total purse
plus the
sanctioning
feeds
probably costing
that track
100 G's
to run
a high limit show
so when the stands
aren't full
needless to say
that tracks
not going to make money
especially if
it's
you know
people stayed home
to watch it on
flow
instead of actually
going out to the track
right
hey
I'm not one
they're going to say
streaming's
killing racing
by any means
because
I was just
at the largest
crowd
did the
history of
Eldora
yeah
to me
streaming is a way
to get people
to get to your
track
exactly
it's just a matter
of how
you do it
yep
and
how you run
the program
right
yes
I think
Attica does
a good job
of that too
it may
if it's hurting
anything
it may hurt
a few local shows
when the weather's bad
yeah
but
it's not hurting
the crowds
I mean
there's been huge crowds
a lot of places
this year
that were streamed
yeah
I just don't think
it's like
a huge moneymaker
kind of like
it's not
like the stream
people kind of
make it sound
like
yeah it's not
you know
by any means
I mean
that goes for
both of them too
I'm not just
saying flow
I mean
dirt vision
it's the same way
it's a good way
to promote your
facility
if you do it right
but
yeah I know
depending on the deal
you know
some tracks get
X amount of
a year
and it's
not that much
yeah
like you say
oh
it seems like
a good chunk of money
and it is
but
until you factor in
like
oh
if I just
if you got
24 shows
and you're only getting
say
$10,000
for the year
yeah
it's like
really like
12
8
like
6 pit passes
a show less
and you're
out that money
like
it's
crazy
how it adds up
because it seems like
there's really shitty
and rainy
and
and you say
a whole lot of people
yeah
you see that
like on a regular
show
I'll just stay home
and watch it on
flow
yeah
track
you know
if the track
loses 400
people
and they're
only getting paid
basically for
10
yeah
in their contract
that's where
you lose
money
exactly
that'll happen
much
but it does
happen
and that's
more of a regular
show
thing
but
exactly
um
yeah
it's
it's an opportunity
to
that's
why
I would
tell track
track
well I've heard it
I mean
trust me
there's so many tracks
in the south
I will never
fucking go to
because every time
I turn
flow
we're watching fucking
compacts
qualify for
an hour and a half
then we're watching
super stocks
and we're watching
604
late models
602
late models
526
late models
limited late models
steelblock
late models
sportsman
late models
limited late models
then
super late models
yeah
so
guess what
topless
late models
and
yeah
I'm not going
for a wheel
late models
qualifying for
three hours
before the races
actually start
thanks to streaming
I will not go
when I was
sitting under promoters
thing at
Knoxville
last time was
Knoxville
and there's guy
in there
going
hey
I'm from
Texas
and I would
never even
know
Attica
Raceway Park
never in her
at
Attica
Raceway Park
I turned on
dirt
Vigency
and
we're planning
on going
to Attica
Raceway Park
just because
man
they got awesome racing
and we
always
wouldn't come to
Ohio
to a trip
and
we can go to
Eldor
and Attica
or you know
or Attica
whatever
yeah
you know
and
as long
as you do
a good job
like I said
you're not doing
four hours of
qualifying
and
well like the other night
well
I
that's why
I
didn't end up
watching the
rest of the
main
for the
late models
because
it was
10 30
I think
and we still
had
two B
mains
and a
two
I think
stock car
B
mains and another
a main
before the
late model
a main
yeah
and it's like
this is
during the week
dude
yeah
no kidding
those people
didn't care
no
that's the thing
doctor
our friends
from down south
and I said
people sit there
don't want to
in the morning
that's just
the way
they like it
like
yeah
well
we're a little different
up here
in the north
so
yeah
anyway
we got stuff
to do
streaming rent
over
I guess
sorry
yeah
I don't
think
streaming
pertinent
just
yeah
I just get
I get
hurt by
how much
some people
portray
like
we're
paying
tracks
all kinds
of money
it's like
yeah
I know
you're not
because I know
some of the tracks
that
you've dealt with
and
they tell me
you're not
paying a bunch of money
so
yeah
I'm sure
all doors
making a shit
lot of money
yeah
you know
yeah
depending on
tracks
and
Port Royals
one that
some of their
events
yeah
making them
some money
yeah
and then
there's like
Lincoln Speedway
and
in Pennsylvania
who literally
just was
last year
said
you know
we're only
gonna show
eight
eight races
this year
on
flow
because
they thought
streaming
was hurting
their revenue
right
so
yeah
there's
there's strategies
to play on
all
kinds of sides
so
just got to figure out
what's going to work
fast
now
and basically
I don't know
what this power
I've
fast one
is
but
yeah
start your own
yeah
Fremont
and
G.L.S.S.
is
and I think
Berlin
up the
Berlin
Michigan
might be
the same way
yeah
there's another
one
I saw
to
uh
that
uh
I can't remember
what it was
but I was like
oh
there's another
track
kind of
doing it
on their own
so
yeah
multiple ways
to skin a cap
so
yes
all right
before we get too
fired up again
I guess we'll call
this
episode
Dwayne
how about that
I like it
you got more fired up
and I did
I know
well
I didn't
I got fired up
on the car
sit upside down
with three laps
yeah
see
there you go
we both got fired up
our buddy Honeycut
knows my feelings
towards
qualifying
yes
he's talked
about it before
uh
and yeah
it's fun
listening to some
of those guys
different
it's fun to hear
the difference
experiences
across
dirt racing
that's why
you go down south
you gotta drink
cause you gotta be drunk
because the only thing
you can do
is either sleep
or drink
for four hours
yeah
get drunk
you pass out
then you wake up
and time to watch
the features
probably
that's probably how it works
anyway
thank you everybody
for listening
thank you
for tuning in
as always
four crowns
coming up
yes
be sure to get there
you do
high limits
are at
uh
supposed to be at
Lawrenceburg on Wednesday
for the
out deal
got you
are you going
four crown
all three nights
yes
okay
that's a plan
got you
then
Clyde Street
races Sunday
yep
forget about that
um
yeah
all three nights
El Dorre
yeah
I think
Wayne County's
uh
fall
was it
dirt blowout
yeah
weekend
is this weekend
yeah
four grand
for Sprint cars
three grand
for Sprint cars
and two
grand for late models
uh
Butler
Butler season championship
like a couple more races
but yeah
they got you
set coming in
two weeks
they do
27
so
yeah
good deal
I won't be at
any races
I'm shocked
there's the
what
reaction
I was waiting for
holy crap
we got family trick
to treat it
campground
big fella
you could not
steal all the candy again
actually had to
turn down a
cigar trailer event
because
this is a
big weekend
for the kids
for the family
and the nieces
so
I'm
I'm
I'm fucking
the awesome uncle
do you even
have a cigar
trailer anymore
I mean
you never take it
anywhere
I know
that's in the driveway
yeah
hey October 4th
F and W auto supply
will be there
car show
Dwayne Prime
won't be there
but I'll be there
you don't go
any dang races
you think you'd
be selling
cigars
and now
I spoke them
all myself
that doesn't surprise me
yeah
get high in your own
supply baby
that we do
where you should pay
for your stuff
if you get it built there
yeah
not everybody does
no
best friends
with the owner
since I was a
kid so
yeah
fun types
racers
screwing over
parts suppliers
go figure shocked
doesn't happen
does it
no
it's never happened
me over the years
anyway right
that'll do it
for us
as always
thank you for tuning in
tell your friends
tell your family
probably all said
all this
can't remember
what I said
already
but anyway
I guess
that'll be it
for us
till next time
as always
stay dirty
bye bye
