The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is a small, fancy car made by a well-known brand. It's designed to be stylish and fun to drive, making it a popular choice for people who want a nice car without going for something too big or expensive.
An engine builder is a person who puts together car engines. They make sure all the parts fit well and work together to make the engine run better, especially in racing cars.
Bored over means making the inside of the engine's cylinders bigger. This can help the engine produce more power, which is why some people do it when they want their cars to go faster.
Ceramic bearings are special parts that help things move smoothly. They are made from a hard material that lasts longer and works better than regular metal parts, especially in fast cars.
Brake pads are what help your car stop. They press against the wheels to create friction, which slows the car down. There are different types made from materials like ceramic or metal, which work in different ways.
Metallic bearings are parts made from metal that help things move smoothly. They are used in many cars but might not be as good as ceramic bearings when it comes to performance, especially in fast cars.
OE replacement parts are aftermarket parts made to be just like the ones that originally came with your car. They are designed to fit and work the same way as the original parts, so you can replace broken ones without changing how the car works.
Suspension is the system in a car that helps it ride smoothly over bumps. It includes parts that keep the car stable and help the tires stay on the ground while driving.

get on it check it out tell them the dirt nerds sent you yeah they'll be like who
yeah most of them will be like who but don't worry about it just go check it
out yeah all right on tap for today well me and Duane are talking a little we
both did not keep up well with the Tulsa shootout but help watch some of it I
watched some there was a little bit of drama on the final night it looks like
but there's some good racing for what I say I mean yeah those heat races and I
watched the heat race day quite a bit and then the qualifiers yeah some of the
sea mains and qualifiers I watched a few of the B mains yeah well on Saturday I
watched quite a bit of it up till I watched most of the B mains and we took
off before they got you but just to go through it Colin
yeah a lot of flips some flips one guy ended up in a dumpster yeah yeah right
by our buddy Chase Schaefer I think by Chase Schaefer yeah but Colin
Hutchinson won the non-stocked non-stock I'm sorry the stock non-wing yeah
Jax Whitmer won the junior sprint Jason Persley got himself another win at the
shootout good battle with Kyle Larson with five laps to go yeah I was seeing
that it on a cell phone setting at sports bar at the casino in Toledo yeah
Frank Floyd ended up the winner following a post-race disqualification of
the a-class feature event Braxton Vesconcelos I'm gonna say like and
restricted Jonathan Beeson non-wing outlaw I watched his first heat race he
was pretty tough what's that third win in 10 years or something well in flood
that was his what 700th and like 43rd or fourth career win yeah yeah I said he
too micro win our career wins yeah he's definitely one of the most known the
micro I think he made all four the amines that he tried I think he's the
only one made all four yeah wouldn't doubt it that's for sure but yeah the big
one was the disqualification that Frank flood got the win engine tech there's
been a lot of chatter about it and I know Dwayne you kind of mean you were
talking before yeah I mean it sounds like something was broke and they fix it
with poxy putty and the engine builder should be okay but it is like a quarter
inch bored over yeah that's ceramic bearings in the transmission and like
well rules say it can be OE bearings and these are OE bearings but I guess it
can't be ceramic bearing so and and it isn't one of those you and I don't know
how about the transmission of many sprint that well is it ceramic bearings
could be OE but it's kind of like the parts that I have I mean brake pads you
can get ceramic OE or you get ceramic or you can get a metallic OE as well you
know is it one of those deals that it's it sounds like it says OE bearings but
they cannot be ceramic and they're like well it says OE bearings or it just says
OE bearing I don't know it sounds like there's a little bit of yeah area there
too well and from my understanding it's it was a great area in the in the rules
that and this was some people have said I haven't seen this where it doesn't say
you can't use ceramic bearings but it says must be factory stock parts yeah
factory stock parts so and they're like well this is an OE replacement yeah you
know yeah that's where the gray area to me is like you know can you I don't
really say I think you know ceramic but like well it's not OE and they're like
well this is an OE replacement which technically being in the parts was it
could be I just can be an upgraded OE replacement exactly so sounds like to me
probably gonna be another rule written next year yeah and I mean the end of the
day they probably take more than the winter and if no one else had them and
then hey I mean yeah so it's a bummer from what I understand the Anas family you
know not really the cheating type and not not you know not in their realm to
really operate like that not to say they knew or didn't know what they were
doing like we said if it's only on part and they just assumed and threw it in
whatever but yeah yeah bummer that I had to happen I know another suspension
suspension DQ we talked about before we started recording was it Kale Drake yep
tires tires benchmark didn't pass and they had some super new special technology
they were using there it sounds like yeah to get tire results yeah like a
super sniffer or something on site so they can pass or DQ yeah quick instead of
waiting two weeks or whatever it is sounds like some weight model series
might be implementing some of the same technology for the regular season from
what I see so there you go while they cheat a lot so yeah a bunch of cheat
in assholes but yeah the pay personally win over Larson was a pretty pretty good
one you know I was five laps four laps to go and then Larson got sideways and
fourth but yeah made it made it so personally got himself to win
shadow or shades of last year's chili wall yeah so that was personally's first
golden driller looks like this is accomplished a lot in his career one
trophy has looted him is the golden driller so I thought he had other wins
but apparently I'm wrong which shows you what I know I thought he did like in
the shootout maybe not I guess not yeah so I don't know it's always kind of a
tune up for some oh yeah you know was it two thousand and seventy entries let's
talk about that a minute yeah they only had like 1939 pre-entry then by time
they have to park outside too I know one of us was what most of those days were
13 to 14 hour race days yeah what was it I just saw one had like 292 entries in
the class or someone had 400 yeah just wild we know Kyle Bush and his son were
racing Owen Larson and Larson's daughter were racing so you know good
family event looks like you see here about that the track off of walk with
Clinton boils I did I saw they did one but I never did watch it so you know
Owen and Aubrey's both been racing Millbridge a lot then Aubrey's actually
been winning in the whatever it is the kids junior sprints or whatever while
Clinton you know races and was a racer did you know quick crew chief and last
year did a little bit of racing well he is taking Owen and Aubrey on the road
full-time Larson's hired him he's taking them and going to run their mini sprint
program and I got 99 races wow that Clinton I guess so I was like Clinton
wanted to do like 40 to 45 because maybe he could race a little bit and Larson's
like no I got 99 I want him racing as much as I can so Clinton boils is gonna
be the new basically driver coach team manager of Larson kids well that'll be a
pretty good gig we'll see yeah work I'm sure he said they've been in the shop
working already and stuff so I think I mean Clinton's been around I mean he
grew up in sport his dad still races and now he's raced and yeah obviously been
crew chief and think they'll be interesting yeah that'll be cool I mean
hey well I mean Caitlin's been doing a lot of it you know here and there while
Kyle's on it so you know and I mean she can yeah obviously got people working on
the car in that too so yeah so they got Clinton boils going full-time with Larson
kids yeah that'll be cool hey nothing like 90 races is a you know eight-year-old
or whatever she's out I don't even know if his daughter's eight yeah like the
10 maybe and the daughter's seven or something yeah yeah yeah I mean that's
kind of I want to say that's what it takes because I wouldn't necessarily say
that's the avenue right but if you have the resources and you want to get some
seat time it's definitely a way to do it put it that way all of it yeah okay so
Oans 11 and Audrey seven because Cooper the youngest is three yeah yeah taking
11 and a seven-year-old around the country for 99 races this coming year
it's a hell of a hell of a schedule very ambitious schedule for 11 and a seven
year old mother racing going on since we last recorded the high limit in
Australia deal happened with a lot of USA people in tow to race down there is
three nights was like midweek shows yeah that culminated with what a hundred
thousand hundred ten thousand when but Corey day I watched I believe was the
opener Corey day got the win pretty hand-to-leaf I remember correctly yeah
I got it got good there for a little bit but then I think there was like a leak
well in someone break I think yeah yeah that was kind of the end of it and
Corey day got the win buddy cool for it got the second prelim night over a good
year in King shot and then the finale goes to back-to-back winner Kyle Larson
hundred thousand that's pretty good race I seen most of that a main on my cell
phone at work yeah I was watching because I forget what oh I was off I must
have been off to watch the Corey day one our guests so yeah and I watched some of
the speed cars midgets down there yeah pretty cool racy little joint yeah you
know we know we heard a lot about Perth it's a good facility and pretty good
racing so and what 40 some cars yeah all night one I think so good good car
count for those guys and Australian almost one yeah it's right there yeah
Larson beat day King shot and Kofoid in a thriller a King shot was right there
and buddy buddy look good for a while that he kind of faded yeah so yeah I'm
sorry I'm just looking like you'll be back in next year with 120,000 next year I
think isn't it yeah I think they're out there yeah 20 21 prelims and 120,000
main event for this year now because we're in 2026 which this year the hundred
and ten thousand was like seventy seven thousand something US dollars so got
you spend it while you're in Australia I was gonna say then you get text on it
once you bring it home and that's a whole nother mess to deal with so I'm gonna
bank account there that way when you go back next year you just got money yeah
that's pretty much all you can do Larson King shot Kofoid Cole Macedo and Luke
Oldfield we're your top five but yeah Carson Macedo on hand Xerfoss on hand
right soul Corey day McFadden who's obviously Australian Rico Brad sweet so
you go miss the a main the first yeah I saw that I was like I started believe I
brought up the B main I'm like Rico's in the B main what's going on there but new
track new car I mean not a new track for him but track you don't race often well
it's one of those it seems it gets slickers and that goes to it's one of
those seems like it falls off a lot in qualifying so better be sooner than
later yeah just some announcements that have come about Lucas Oil announced
their bonus program yeah instead of doing the playoff you know thing they've
done last few years they're going back to the traditional points which we talked
about but they're said they were still have some bonuses going on throughout
those end races so look I thought it looked pretty extra $275,000 awarded
across the final five Saturday events of the season so top five drivers and
standings following Port Royal in August will qualify for miniseries style
points battle across these five events the top points earner receiving an
additional hundred thousand second to fifth or in 40,000 30,000 20,000 and
10,000 so and that's just for the Saturdays yeah I thought that was pretty
cool yeah that's a good good idea so yeah I mean you can't argue that bonus
yeah so if you're the you win the points that's 250 grand if you win the
miniseries that's another hundred grand that's 350 G's yeah for your season so
mm-hmm that's a pocket change you know yeah well it doesn't last as much as
you'd like but that's true yeah so it's a pretty late season deal so cool there
Lucas oil handing out some extra bucks yes other news northern all-star late
models set their 12 race schedule now it's been modest bringing it back but
one of their first races is actually at Montpelier Speedway in Indiana yeah and
April for 7,500 to win so sticking to their normal Brownstown Florence
Ponderosa they go to Mudlick Montpelier Paragon in Indiana that's a cool one
Brownstown then Bloomington for two nights so that'll be a cool
Bloomington Speedway in Indiana for light models yeah Lawrenceburg in June and
then they go to Circle City and Brownstown in August so most races 7,500 is
the least amount to win everything else yeah right in April so very cool
there you better have the dirt nerds a mile tuned up we will see don't bury it
under a snowdrift like snowmobile yeah other news speaking of Lucas oil was
announced this week Freddie Carpenter the fastest ponytail gonna be joining the
series 55 year old rookie of the year yep says he wants to finally able to kind
of follow his dream took him how many years and don't didn't really say you
know extra sponsors anything like that but you know gonna give her a shot so so
he's gonna build trip the night's wise yeah I don't know other news Randall
Edwards did you see that news joining Josh Rice racing yes our Justin Ratliff
racing with Josh Rice as the pilot they put out looking for a crew chief Randall
Edwards was with Carson Brown the last three four years I think kind of
developing him as a driver races everything you know they race pavement late
models and everything but going back to full-time dirt late model racing with
Josh Rice I think that's a pretty good fit I think it will be to be honest I
mean pretty cool to to see Josh get a good resource behind him not to you know
Ratliff racing is damn good as rice and Freddie Carpenter will be battle out
for rookie of the year I'm gonna say damaged rice yeah for sure and I know
Edwards has experience with the Rockets and Longhorns it sounds like Rice is
starting out with Longhorns but if they feel the need they can go back to
Rockets because that's what he's always kind of has success with so that'll be
interesting yeah I like sure I like that move Randall seems like a good dude and
yeah I think it'll be good parking next to them a few times it's yeah smart guy
knows his stuff other news Cody Overton announced he'll be back on the
word of outlaw tour but this time as a quote-unquote owner as well the Dave
Steini tri-star motor ride sounds like is gonna be dialing back but some of it
going to Overton to still race he's gonna have Steini still at his you know I
don't say Beckham call but support from Steini and then Bruce Kane out of
Maryland the 15k car and then Texas racer Alan Murray also helping out so
don't know how it's all breaking down necessarily but he's gonna have decent
amount of support it looks like so but gonna be responsible for his own team
so he's had some debt you know it's had some success and yeah probably not as
much as he would have liked but he's toward the shit off some things too yeah
he's he's only crashes this usually not a small yeah he's but that's you'd rather
have someone like that than too conservative so especially when you're
on the road like that so might not always paint the bills he might yeah yeah
might fire yourself might might chill out a little bit might hire his brother
yeah that's all I have for news Dwayne anything else
I did not have that on there but Logan Zarin announced he'll be going the
outlaws Western Pennsylvania guy the first rookie we've heard I don't know for
sure on outlaws I think so yeah but that'll be another about it was a Sam
Searight the one East or an Ice Bowl yeah so I was just gonna say the Ice Bowl
once Sam Searight looks like they had some weather issues there on and off fog
and stuff did you see all that see Tony Jackson Jr.'s car this new car wasn't
wasn't new afterwards he flipped yeah yeah yeah not good
K Diller won at Arrowhead Speedway in Oklahoma a thriller K Diller yeah pretty
good feel the cars for a kind of had that race scheduled on a whim it seemed
like it was kind of after the fact but yeah Kate was just getting ready for
shaking things down for Wild West shootout coming up and got himself a
win so which starts Saturday night yes that's already started part of it yeah
did you see and I don't know if you've seen this I mean I'd say it's in the
news part we're always talking about streaming uh-huh numbers yeah you see
flow published that year in review I didn't but I saw the Gateway Nationals
was the most streamed thing ever so we talked about how can flow afford this
money for Lucas oil high limits so and it doesn't really say how many
subscribers but this is flow
flow sports so this just isn't the racing I guess this is flow it says flow
sports so I I assume this is all flows yes so it says two two two thousand twenty
five year review flow sports social media social video views two point eight
billion plus live streaming minutes four point five billion live minutes
streaming that would definitely be all of it total social media impressions five
plus a billion reaching more than 200 million new fans and so here's here's
where I think they messed up and I don't know I mean can we estimate it says
time spent per viewer 105 minutes so does that tell us we take the four point five
billion minutes stream and divide it by 105 because it says time spent per viewer
now are they calm per viewer are they zoom in that's per subscription are
they figuring more than one person's viewing at the prescription that's why
I want because if you take the four point five billion and divide it by the
hundred and five minutes that's forty two forty two point like four seven eight
million subscribers if that's the case I can 150 dollars yeah a year so if you
take forty two million times 150 bucks yeah so here a lot of zeros yeah I was
way too many zeros for me four hundred million bucks oh yeah 120 million six
point three billion dollars six hundred million no six six then that'd be three
six point three billion dollars if you got forty two million subscribers time
hundred and fifty bucks I don't that don't make sense I just say you're not
why I don't make sense yeah this is our math section six point three billion yeah
so yeah six point three billion yeah so I guess if they're making six point three
billion now maybe I'm maybe I'm thinking outside the box this is four point five
billion minutes then that averages a hundred and five minutes per viewer yeah
I mean I know I watch it more than a hundred and five minutes yeah I'm thinking
because you go get a factor in like there's us that may watch it for three or
four hours right but then there's you know like I watch rugby matches on it
which are two hours right quick hockey games two hours so I don't think there's
forty two million subscribers but I don't know because the average so that
means some people don't watch it at all yeah hardly or they watch their kid when
they're on yeah whatever gymnastics or whatever but yeah so I'm trying to figure
out you know does that give us a rough estimate because they put that average per
viewer a hundred and five so yeah I don't know if they'd have forty two
million subscribers or not I mean that seems high to me but like said it's not
just racing and it's not just us I mean like me I'm watching rugby matches over
in England South Africa Ireland very well it could be forty two million yeah
subscriber was a six point three billion so if they're making six point three
billion off their sports granted that I mean obviously got operating costs and
I don't know anything hockey there's a ECHL and HL on there now so that's a lot
of minutes and all the college sports college sports like I said anywhere from
gymnastics wrestling I know a lot of people that watch wrestling okay even
let's say we're off by half even if they're making three point one billion
dollars on subscriptions it's probably not cost them that much and I'm sure they
play whoever at these rugby matches and the hockey games you're off their feet
or something you know well what a right for it and say what you're paying is the
rights you know the broadcast at which I'm sure is not cheap but you know for
rugby it's probably a few hundred grand like it's not gonna I'm sure the ECHL
yeah anything yeah ECHL has been struggling to find a home a central
home forever yeah so I'm sure it's you know so I mean but still you know you're
probably talking I'd say a couple hundred million maybe and broadcast rights by
timey factor in college and everything right so let's say even if it's oh you
even okay even if they make a billion dollars off subscribers yeah and a
couple hundred million so there's profit still might be 500 to 600 million a
year yeah oh yeah so now we know how they can afford mm-hmm yeah I mean and but
it's a matter of how's how's the bucket broken up right there's racing get their
own money does I don't know but just saying that that's part of it yeah yeah
cuz I could I mean 4.2 million seems like a lot but when you factor in
worldwide and then you fight white you billion well I'm talking million well
subscribers always say I have 42 million 42 million yeah seems like a lot and it
is a lot but when you factor in like I said college is doing sports every kind
of sport you know wrestling hockey racing rugby cycling gymnastics so that
can't cost him much to do yeah some of that you're just you're buying a feed
right and we know racing really isn't that like most tracks in series it's like
you get a guy with a camera right just to show up and that's really all they do
it's not not crazy you know some events yes it's a little more produced but right
a lot of them it's just like a dude or two with a camera and you're paying them
an hourly rate and that's it so I think racing is pretty cheap for them and
obviously Lucas oil like right on it so they're not paying right there they
own it they're not paying rights there so maybe that's how they got some money and
they don't pay track shit so you know that that helps right but yeah interesting
numbers no I didn't see those so yeah so bringing that up yeah I thought I thought
it was an interesting conversation and I may be reading it wrong but it says 4.5
billion minutes streamed and that says that's an average of 105 per viewer but
I think you know it might be skewed a little bit because per viewer are they
counting that as a viewer just one subscriber or they think okay that count
four people in a room yeah yeah four people watching or two people watching
average household 2.2.3 people or you know yeah so it could be but even I said
even if we're a third of that yeah so you're at 20 million right and you times
that by or divided by what we're doing so yeah 42 million four times 150 bucks so
you do 20 million times 150 yeah you know you're still at $3 billion yeah
I mean even for a third of it we're yeah or half here in your third you're at a 1.2
or 3 billion then you take your couple hundred million then of course you got
your spend if you got a couple hundred million fees and 300 million and expenses
you're still 500 million yeah profit profit yeah yeah and those expenses and
stuff would be the high limits and Lucas oil yeah that would all be part of
these expenses that's not even you seem to added 277 for those 250 to the last
Saturday night races or 275 the last five Saturday races yeah 27 well that was
Big River Steel and an ARP supposedly but yeah so you're getting sponsors too
yeah I mean also they got headquarters they got employees but like Dwayne said
if all your expenses are covered yeah all your expenses are covered you're
still bringing home a bill or 500 mil like still pretty good home 50 mil
mm-hmm yeah I mean you got to pay back investors though so there's right there's
some things there but yeah you know it's interesting maybe my explain some good
walk is everybody asked where's this money coming from well yeah well and then
like I said I'd I'd want to look deeper into it which you know we'll never know
that's broken up yeah per event or by series or even like their thing per
viewer I mean does that mean yeah that might only mean like I said 20 million
or 15 million yeah but when you factor in across the world not just US that you
know the numbers not so crazy average per viewer that tells me to get your
average you take your amount of viewers divide it by the number of minutes yeah
get your hundred and five so you just reverse do it figure out your number of
subscribers yeah yeah I mean and I mean if they're using common math it's a
factor factor in I know like rugby stuff like the Gallagher premiership rugby
right that's England's you know main rugby entity but that's not on flow but
the urc is which is Ireland South Africa Scotland and stuff and that's a big
deal I don't know if that's on other services right abroad or not so I don't
know how worldwide it really gets now that I think about it but I still feel
like you're gonna have some world obviously people in Australia are watching
our racing in the winter right just like we watch there so yeah interesting
numbers thanks for bringing that up that's a yeah it's a good guy's like I
think good answer some questions yeah yeah if you're still money's there yeah
that's probably how high limits doing it I'm sure the money would be there yeah yeah
how long do you want to do it well and like I said how's it broken up what's
really bringing in money you know flow started with usack that was all the
brother racing yeah it was a good they have usack sweet that three series that's
150 bucks right there but now you got all their shit so yeah so and they've
backed down certain series and not doing every track and you know they they've
consolidated a little bit but yeah pretty cool yeah I just thought that was
very interesting yeah some big numbers thrown around regardless so yeah when
you're talking billions like said that's flow sports so it's not just racing yeah
um only thing I got is talking chili bowl racing chili bowl yeah try I think
schedule did you have that I did not but yeah I forgot that came out 18 races yeah
so they got some nights off which that's what they's playing in mostly AFC has
four 10s it looks like yeah Attica is not released yet but it sounds Attica is
gonna be pretty standard there's don't sound like there's gonna be any many
weeks off so I know when I talked to Rich he wants some time off because as we
said this local Sprint guy racing is getting more expensive more expensive
and now if you're down to 18 well it's not alms 410s there's some nights 410s
are off so I think there's only gonna be maybe 14 15 410 races of the wing 410s
and honestly I think that's how you're gonna keep it alive you can't ask these
teams to do 4550 local nights between these two
tracks just because it's not many can afford it right yeah so yeah I mean
schedule is pretty standard no you sack but the steel block late models are back
with the D2 midgets mm-hmm $5,000 to win 305 show I don't know if it's
anything increased from second to 20th but I know it's 5,000 to win double down
deal where they split the features in to 40 to 20 lap features split the purse
fair race yep yeah which that's not a 410 night no October race on there yeah
notice yeah no October race so that may get added then durable again yep see
different it's not gonna be 12-hour durable it's 500 laps so I know the
winner did like 1700 or something something like that 1600 yeah so you're
basically talking force I mean basically about a quarter of a third so four
hours maybe mm-hmm so yeah which I think would be better yeah I think it'll my
guess is employee wise gonna be a lot better kids try to get employees yeah
gotta be open before the races so you're talking 14 15 hours being at the track
my guess is that was party so not that you need a ton of employees for the end
Earl I think it'd be a better chance to get a crowd yeah of hey we go out and
you know for 10 bucks watch Billy bullet Joe Bob or whoever you know go out there
for a few hours yeah so yeah I mean you know of course Jim Ford classic what
about the $20,000 to win all-star show on a Tuesday night yeah hey in between the
let's race to our right before the let's race to right after high limits are at
like Kokomo and that may 12th yep then a high-limit show the Monday of Kings
Royal yeah thousand to start to yeah so a couple big shows yeah I got the high
limit show like you said yeah on the Monday of Kings Roy yeah I know they got
like the crown battery remembering the 2000s they kind of have some themes with
their night so it'll be cool to see how that goes 50s night 60 70s you know stuff
like that it's pretty cool double down format like you said there in May but
yeah it's pretty much AFCS all-stars and then a couple of you know track 410
races it looks like so like you said they back her down hey try it I mean like
you said local teams are finding it harder and harder to operate 40 to 50
nights even though they're half hour apart well not only that fans there's
some nights they took some huge bass yeah oh yeah but I know like that late
model race with the steel blocks is a cool cool one I wish they'd get the
Iron Man series there they tried the one year and the rain out but I wish they'd
get those guys back but well then I know you sacked I'd seen a lot of people's
like man no you sack new set you know you sack I straight from the horse's
mouth they lost a little over 10 grand at that show last year yeah so do you try
it a couple years but I mean how many nights you want to lose over 10 grand
too yeah oh yeah and then Butler has them back so yes and the middle stream's
gonna announce on that Friday before of wait sounds like it sounds it's not
official well it's not officially announced yet but instead having the
Sunday the day after butlers it hasn't been announced yet but they're gonna
have the 26th of June the Friday before yeah which means field has fast and
boss that weekend as well and so you see Fremont that's when the $5,000 win
through a five show is yeah not sure what Attica is doing for sure that weekend
because they wanted me that AFCS like there's way too much stuff going on you
get you take a bath that that's one of those weekends you've took a bath we
have done it seven years because it's a week after Speed Week you have the
lowest car count the lowest crowd count of the year mm-hmm so Fremont's not
running for 10 set yeah bring in the steel block late models do 5,000 win
for 305s and do the trucks and I'm not sure I mean Justin would be 100% because
I said I personally think you should run a special 305 show as well mm-hmm with
your regular late models and bring in the trucks yeah and do you know double
header weekend kind of like that I mean obviously it's not steel blocks yeah they
could run it Attica if they wanted to mm-hmm cuz some of them are yeah and some
of them are some of them run good some of them would be competitive exactly you
got some money in those things exactly so I don't know what to do because he's
like makes sense to me this guy convinced John you know because I mean I know for
fact there's some nights there wasn't six seven hundred people in the stands
some of those nights after speed because everybody goes speed week the car cars are
wore out you know fans are worn out local teams want that weekend off and
Mainz field has things so not only not only do you have Attica race on that
Friday Mainz field will have fast and boss for two days and USAC will be at
middle stream on that Friday yeah so if Attica in for I you already have a thin
crowd that night every year I mean it's just proven facts it's no make believe
no it's proven facts that's the worst attendance night of the year mm-hmm and
your lowest car count maybe do something different that night yeah yeah
definitely some strategy and scheduling right it's not like it used to be no
be a little more yeah now you gotta now you have another track Mainz field it
seems just be they don't care what they schedule on they're scheduled yeah so
it'll be interesting how that plays out to yeah and man Milstreet or Mainz field
you know track surface and all that still questionable but you know
question mark I should say well but like they had trouble getting cars there
before well and another big question marks track service but how they run the
show I mean I mean we know announcers been at places and had some issues and
some people loving some people hating we've already went through a couple of
track or you know GM's or whatever yeah I want to want through you know we're on
our second or third one of them and so as Matt Tiff can be run the show as his
track promoter the general Mainz run show or we at getting a series or you
know yeah race day and how's it gonna run yeah we're gonna be there two in the
morning yeah I mean you know especially if they're all new or you know
anything takes a minute to gel yeah then if you throw some people like you know
Matt Tiff he's doing great I mean he's bringing a track back that was dead and
put millions dollars in it but just cuz you put millions dollars in it doesn't
mean that's gonna be successful if you don't run it right yeah oh yeah so you
know there's a lot of question marks mm-hmm of you know yeah how it's gonna go
but yeah and then we'll see what time I mean hopefully it's a home run and yeah
I mean they took dirt in so hopefully I think the track service will be addressed
I mean I think that already was and it's same dirt as that I had it in pre-mott
yeah so as long as they put it on right which I assume they did mm-hmm I think I
don't think there'll be an issue there I think track service will be the best that
we've seen since it's reopened yeah dirt wise yeah yeah a lot of a lot of
questions for the Ohio racing scene this year I guess I didn't think it didn't
seem like it but now we're talking yeah yeah there's yeah nice are gonna be
interesting because there's gonna be three four sprint oh easily four or five
track and sometimes on Friday night when Attica you know Attica is 410 deal
in line with a 360 deal there's some nights you're gonna have three four
other tracks you know there's some nights are gonna be five six tracks run
sprint cars yeah yeah and I mean we know we there's a lot of cars running in
Ohio but you know it's hit or miss as to oh Gage Garcia officially in the 16 car
I did as you were talking to Fremont I was like oh yeah I forgot to mention that
officially in the Burmeister car yep so another California kid coming Ohio I
knew that for a long time so just couldn't say anything because they get
some sponsorship deals worked out and didn't want to jinx anything well yeah
and it was one of those I mean you don't want to do anybody's thunder but there
was some deals going on and you know some of some people don't like that one
there hey wait a minute I'll this see her get leaked out yeah so but yeah yeah
it'll be interesting another California related to the Macedo's so I know should
I think be pretty decent be interesting yeah we know it's Caleb Henry back in
the 101 he is gonna be running the all-stars and then around here hitting
DJ Fuse and a brand new 410 team oh yeah with the well I shouldn't say brand
new because Brian Sabito did run yeah for that team last year it was Brian
Sabito back to the 305s and DJ Fuse and what was the 01 I don't know if I don't
know what the number will be to be honest yeah DJ was always 11 wasn't he his own
car yeah I believe so man it's been so long since I don't car yeah 11 off I
believe let's say because Matt runs 11 so yeah well I know we've heard of rumor
we won't say who or what but maybe a Sprint car driver interested in driving
some late models or something there's there's been that going around and yeah
locally we'll put it that way yeah don't get your panties and a twist out there
locally here we'll say don't know where that what David gravel is not going to
teammate with rocket house car damn it Elliott did we break that early damn it
Elliott Sheldon that was the big one Sheldon's not racing Ward of Outlaws next
year he's gonna be yes we're not all late models yeah yeah still weird with that
we haven't officially heard yeah and but it's kind of the worst-kept secret it
seems like yeah unless it's not yeah people are saying well but who would they
get yeah and yeah it's not it's not a ride you want to just throw anyone in
right like you want someone with some tenure and traveling I mean everything
after it's done deal and there's already building cars and that comes from people
that supposedly talked to Sheldon because Sheldon was getting these Chinese
pilots license to fly I won back a little bit too and so I don't know maybe
yeah but it is sprint car racing and I could go home and change underwear and
I could try out do just a quick change as I as that you know I mean sometimes and
did you sometimes a thirst sure thing the sprint car racing is a sure is nothing
yeah well did you see we we talked about down in shots getting the ride with
CJB but that means Barry Jackson will be on the road with Donnie and I forget who
is the crew chief gonna be with Crouch now well and Barry came off the road was
in the shop you know last year and a half or whatever so okay yeah Barry removed
himself from the road so they've had you know Brendan seems been out there so it'll
be Donnie's lovers with Donnie Barry and yeah I saw that but I was surprised that
you know Crouch was kind of the primary carbon out of Donnie's coming they get
you know Barry on the road again with Donnie and Brennan Crouch is I hear
Barry's hard to get along with on the road so yeah may not and we all know Donnie
he can be yeah grumpy so it may not be that match in heaven as everybody's
yeah the only thing is Donnie flies back and forth so he doesn't travel at least
yeah I don't know if I can I don't know if I'm a liberty to say to be honest I
haven't seen any press releases oh swank that's just going with brown crowd yeah
yeah well she jumps around a lot too so yeah yeah there's a team that hired a
very popular driver coach team manager mechanic type thing too in our region but
I I won't say anything yet because I don't know if they're doing a press release
I was told by a driver's family member so I won't steal that funder yet too but
not verified yet oh it's verified it's just not not public knowledge yet no and
I won't say what team I won't say what guy but it's one of my not so favorite
people in racing nice guy that got hired I don't think I was like yeah but I was
talking to him I guess who we hired I'm like really it wasn't the one guy from
that was supposed to help out the one team that had the drug issue and all that
it wasn't him maybe okay I think what's how team you're talking about California
driver yeah oh yeah wasn't that guy no no no okay no no no no this is a famous
famous right on well Sprint car hall of fame oh okay well we'll talk about that
off air how about that yeah but while we're on air let's talk chilly bowl yeah
yeah that's right we're gonna talk to it to 385 entries as of yesterday and half
of them are racing on Tuesday go figure no hunts for Wednesday
one's days a day that's got more than any today Tuesday has like but by the
walk a PDA graphic oh might be there's like 10 to 12 more drivers one's he's
got a lot to yes one's a stack field Monday Monday's the week is the week
filled with Larson and cannon Macintosh race Jerry Coons juniors in there Tanner
Carrick's in there but still kind of a question mark as to why it's so light
Monday night versus well I know they have the race champions at night so some
guys are a race of champions don't don't obviously not don't want to qualify that
night but Larson does because then he has NASCAR testing but yeah yeah I mean I
looked at it and Monday if you really stretch it there's maybe nine guys but
really there's four mm-hmm Larson cannonball yeah cannonball and Tanner
Carrick and Goldblatt yeah gollybix but I mean you got guys like Justin Peck yeah
he's made I think one Saturday night a main Nick Hoffman he's great but he's
never made a Saturday night a main so that means he don't make you know he's
not in the top you know I mean Leary's in there but not necessarily a super
successful chili ball driver yeah I mean you got a few guys like that that could
possibly if the things fall yeah Jerry Coons juniors probably one of them yeah
he's a guy that made the most amains in a long time Gary Taylor's not all those
guys that quietly makes a main a lot of chili bowl so you know he has to have a
good run but I mean you're stretching to find a lot of okay this guy can beat
Kyle Larson yeah yeah on that night Joby Miller's another one of those that's
made five or six chili boy mains on Saturday night that runs in knows the
place because he just ran you know a bunch of shootout cars and we know he's a
gasser so I mean if he gets but still he you know he hasn't been up front in a
main on Saturday night so be be interesting but yeah I think well I had
if you really stretch it you got about nine guys every night to go in except for
Wednesday and then there's like 13 or 14 because everybody in their brother seems
to be running on Wednesday night that I mean just personally an ax them right
there you know I'm not talking I mean there's a ton of ton of good guys that
yeah Tuesday nights a pretty crowded night Christopher Bell Parker Price
Miller JJ Yalie who has some chili bowl magic Jonathan Beeson who's been tough
Kayleigh Bryson buddies racing that night Pickens who comes over from England
as well Zach Dom Hank Davis Hank Davis has made the last two years out of his
pre-alarm night almost well already know yeah Caleb Henry's racing that night so
amongst others but Drake Troutman will be a rookie but obviously a successful
late model racer RTJ has RTJ's in that I'm yeah I mean you know there's he's a
solid midget reason Gavin Bachel who you know came a chilly boy main yeah and
he's a mini sprint guy ran the shootout and his head success in the Brooks want
to qualify night last year yeah but there seems to be like 10 to 12 more cars
that night than there is Zach Weigel's racing that night yeah wrestling one I
think Sheldon Creed yeah I saw that Ty Gibbs is also racing that night but you're
saying this Larson or you say Larson or Macintosh on Monday what do you think the
Larson Larson and then let's cannonball cannonballs in yeah then who do you
think Tuesday Tuesday I mean got C bell in there but he hasn't done a lot of dirt
this year yeah I mean he's still C bell so tough day he's tough in that building
I mean I don't want to see either one win to be honest because I want to see I'd
love to see somebody new win every night what about buddy yes buddy buddy's gonna
be tough he's got his midget legs back under him there I think pickings will be
tough I'm gonna say I think buddy's gonna be tough on that night okay then we go
to Wednesday night tonight Jesus Dwayne was talking where you have how many
Knoxville Nationals wins there with Sammy and Ryan Tims yeah you got Jason
McDougall who has been out of the seat but he knows he knows the chilly ball
Emerson axum Corey day yeah yeah day some purse Lee have purse Lee's in there
right him yeah like you said Colby Copeland yeah and he's got Mitchell
moles Kevin KTJ a lot of a lot of start so local guy Cap Henry taking on kill
Drake who's been tough Jake Newman got some starts Sammy who's old
J I said KTJ yeah Mitchell moles you didn't hear me say Sammy's is old
washed yeah I heard I just know he's still got the most chilly but Robert Bell
oh yeah he's gonna be good to be about 12 seconds off Blake Han probably have
his Joe Biden flag wagon from his car kid on his Facebook page he's that's how
much a fight in a war every day yeah no thanks I think an interesting one and I
can't believe he's a chilly bowl rookie unless maybe this is his kid but I didn't
say junior anything Jordan Herman Seder from California he was good in
California in midgets for a long time Alex Bright yeah he's in there too yeah
Alex Bright's another one that's had good a mean Blake Han did you say him yes
yeah I mean yeah Wednesday nights I mean it's off the wall I think
he's one of my picks for the whole chilly bowl because they say you have to
lose one before you win one I think personally is gonna be tough but I
also Ryan Tim's this magical right now yeah and Cory Day we know what he can
do in a midget I mean I honestly think I honestly think your chilly bowl a main
winner on Saturday is gonna be racing on Wednesday nights program got you I
really do mm-hmm and I'm gonna say that's either gonna be Jason Pursley
Ryan Tim's or Cory Day gotcha and that I love seeing a new winner I'd like to
see a new winner every night but you know yeah I think that I mean those three
are just tough and personally you know basically I don't want to say gave away
last year but it was his the lose I mean you have an ax I'm in a swindall car
too yeah that's right the swindall team boosted up a little bit this year yeah
so it's like I didn't screw up I said Pickens earlier thinking England he's
he's New Zealand Tom Harris is England who has had some good success there as
well so yep yeah Thursday Thursday get Basin Carter Sarf yeah I think that
could be you know he's in a briscoe car which they've been they've always been
tough I think he could be a surprise for sure mm-hmm I don't know if it'd be a
surprise I mean it would be to all the NASCAR fans I have no clue some of those
guys are but yeah Brady Bacon that running that night Kyle Cummins Danny
Sam's who's kind of a local guy yeah his rookie Briggs Danner who's tough Denny
Jake Denny and the Keith Coons up you know numero uno ride Frank Flood will be
racing who we all know he knows his way around around the Tulsa Expo center
Ryan Bernal Thorson Wyndham Kyle Cummins Kyle Cummins so Danny Stratton a lot
of people I mean he's been a tough car those cars haven't been there last few
years and they're back in the bendito car yeah so another tough night but who
you think on Thursday night I'm gonna say on Thursday I think I also think if
the cards fall right we're gonna have a first time Thursday night winner and it's
gonna be Carter Sarf yeah I'll say Thursday nights another one of those
nights where it's a lot it's up for grabs yeah Denny yeah Jacob Denny he's tough
Danors yeah Tanner Thorson Briggs Danner yeah Tanner yeah I mean between Sarf
Denny Tanner get Kyle Kyle Cummins yeah Wyndham which we know he's had a lot of
success in the non-wing stuff so he just has terrible chilly bull luck yeah
then local Ohio driver Abby Hobines making her yep see she's on there so
brand of 10 Ohio drivers this year yeah so I'm thinking I'm gonna say Jacob
Denny for there you go night it's not a bad pick at all yeah not a bad pick at
all and then a Friday yeah Friday you know you're gonna have Justin Grant Logan
CV yep CV let's see who else Pittman Schumann Michael Vicento Vicento
ace McCarthy Gavin Miller who's been tough
Pittman yeah so Centino Frucci I like Frucci but hopefully he's not upside down
Matt Westfall Ohio guy Matt Westfall on there Billy Weas Indiana fella yeah
another good night but definitely not stacked like some other ones it's gonna
be hard to say no on Justin Grant that night yeah well CV and Grant yeah he's
there too yep I'm gonna say it's gonna be between those two but I think you know
obviously Gavin Miller races hard and sometimes guys around him end up upside
down so he could he could pull one off maybe a bit of a sleeper that night we've
just seen him excel the last year year and a half Kale Coons or Hayden
Ridebolt yeah Hayden Ridebolts yeah right bolts he's finally broke in the
victory lane and all those kids that you see very and I tell you another sleeper
that night that ran good and a main and had one get taken away because he had
some aggressive driving to make an A main the year before Stephen Snyder
junior yeah I'm gonna say he was one I I saw on there as well remembering some
success so I mean it's that's what's awesome about
Shirley Bowl I said there's a good at least nine drivers any night that's kind
of for grabbing stuff for Tuesday Tuesday's kind of but then Wednesday you
got 13 or 14 so I wish they'd put a few those Wednesday guys on Monday just to
make it a little more but that's it's been the same forever Mondays usually the
weakest night because like I said you got the race of champions so I get it some
of the guys want to use that as a test session mm-hmm like and I know this year
Caleb Henry's running it yeah I don't know if cap is but you got Sammy runs it
Larson runs it Bell usually runs it CV run it you know yeah you know I'll have
Ricky Sunhouse junior this year usually he's a Friday night guy yeah which we
could always have some late-dealers and cars no RFM cars that no Rico yeah he
hasn't ran a couple years but I'm surprised this year there's no gravel
no sweet no you had misitos yeah none of them of course there's this in
Australia mm-hmm so you got a lot of your big I'll say but yeah of some of your
bigger wings for our guys there's a handful of them missing this yeah yeah
and I know sweet kind of backed out of it but he didn't do it last year yeah did
it I know he's had his opinions on how much it costs to go and you know the
whole money side of things which is obviously changed a little bit but yeah
Tony Stewart named Grand Marshal yeah 40th annual yeah he's got two wins I
believe or three two I know he's got at least two I think he's got two one in
a Coons car one in the zone car but yeah I mean it's packed house again I know
Wednesday or Monday and Tuesday they still have tickets but Wednesday through
Saturday has been sold out yeah now you can you know there's open seating on the
back stretch be aware if you'd never been there in quotes because you know
it's the only place in the world that you can have your blanket taped down and
that don't mean shit to 90% of people because they're well it says no reserve
seating that means you're reserving the seat I've seen that argument already on
Facebook you know if that blanket there you can't put a blanket down because that
means no reserve see and people's like yep soon somebody stands up you and
leaves you can sit there because there's no saving seats even if they have a
blanket there and the code or whatever then our people's like no people will
respect that well I haven't sat there for a few years because each year it got to
be a bigger and bigger fight if you don't have somebody from your party sitting
there garden you're blanking that people be sitting on it when you come back and
being a quote I don't mean shit because yeah everybody's brain don't work there
but I blame the track on some of it too because they say any open seat doesn't
say and and as well as races some of these people that's one race they go to
all year or they hear about it like oh we we got to go there cuz it's gonna be
neat and they don't know yeah you know I should say you know let's say hey if
there's a blanket or something there but you know that they always tell me any
open seat I've had it well they told us any open seat doesn't matter if it's
like that or not any open seat you know so you know yeah and there'll be probably
5,000 people sitting lawn chairs watching on the big screen and the pits too yeah
as I say it always amazes me the it's even hard to get a seat in front of the
TV screen up on the stands because it's so packed so yeah it's good time I mean
it's we I hope you know it's always great racing so it's always great racing
you know it's some of the best if not the best of the year that's why we keep
going out and you know 300 plus cars and no rain outs and I'd like to see you know
I don't know I think like I said I think it's gonna be personally day or where else
I said Tim's mm-hmm I think it's gonna be one of them but you never know I mean
definitely can't count large enough said Bell yeah he's probably a little rusty
but that building is like yeah some about it once you've been once you've
mastered it it's always there with you yeah it's not like he's gonna forget how
to drive yeah it's just crazy when you you got some names you like it's them but
then you're like wait there's Logan CV oh wait there's Carter Sarfa wait there's
Jacob Denny oh wait there's Tanner Thornton like well I like about the last
few years there's been five or six guys that's made the amane for the first time
yeah you know that's the uniqueness of the chilly bulls you have like last year
Lane Brooks when in a qualifying night and so you get these guys that and that's
what we need you know yeah I mean gotta have hope yeah I mean if you if you go
they're expecting the names we're saying just to beat everyone's ass when
every single one for 10 years you know and yeah everybody's like why Jesus
crime me you know I mean you know that's why there's 300 and some cars there
almost 400 cars because you know you got some guys pulling some outsets you got
some guys making the main for the first time that you're not expecting to make
the main some names and that's what I like to see you know you know as we know
a few years ago Larson Bell pulled out because it wasn't paying enough or wasn't
and all that controversy stuff and you know what as just as good as racing if
not better if they was there or not you know so I think I think it's cool and
I mean obviously you can't count any of them out but I do I just think it's gonna
be one of those young guns that you know upsets the crowd yeah but the thing it
sucks is like don't really suck why aren't you running on Monday night I
mean you have a choice to pick Monday night you know everybody's like well
it's kind of soft cuz Larson well some of the guys is fault for not picking
Monday night yeah I mean you see a lot of rookies if I was a rookie I'd run on
Monday night cuz it's usually the lowest car count and like we said there's four
really solid guys and then you know another four or five that gets the right
breaks that could win yeah but then there's a lot of rookies a lot of you
know those names and but if one of those have a good run that's how they sneak
in there yeah and do it so yeah I mean in circumstances are always there like
with get an accident what if you get a flat time in like when he came back
first year he came back after the big protests of not gonna be flipped yeah you
know I mean he worked his way through there but you know two of guys are locked
into the main for Saturday already so you know you know it's probably gonna be
Macintosh and Larson but you never know I mean that's why they're up front a lot
in the chilly bowl but it's like people have a choice you can pick Monday night
and go against them mm-hmm you know yeah and it's like if you think about it if
you're saying those two are the top dogs while you can still finish third and
set yourself up good for Saturday and if they hit cup or you have a good run
because I mean you can't carve out a few of those guys yeah you know there's like
said with the right circumstances there's another five six guys that could win
and that's saying chilly bowl you have to be good but you gotta have some luck
too because the heat races are passing points and finishing spots and it puts
you so you run a heat race which is draw there's no qualifying you run your hot
lap then you draw for the heat race and and starting on the pole the heat race
could screw you to yeah because if you don't win you're screwed yeah oh yeah
we don't win you're really screwed but even if you win and there's guys that
start you know fourth fifth sixth and seventh that run up the second you know
you could be 14th 15th and points and not starting on the front and work your
way up there so you gotta have a little bit of luck you gotta have a good draw
and everything's passing points if you get a flat tire if somebody spins in
front of you with a lap to go or something you're screwed yeah so there
is a little bit of luck to it but you gotta put yourself in the position to
have that lock too then you have your qualifier so it's it's it's just not a
give me I don't care if it's Kyle Larson Chris Rebell Sammy Swindell whoever
it's not a give me yeah anybody so we talk about the event and whatnot but I
guess for anyone out there listening who's maybe going for the first time the
city of Tulsa I don't know shit about it I know you get out in Gallivan what's
like some things to do or things you need to do while you're there well and
think about Tulsa it's pretty easy to get around even you don't so all the let's
see would be east west streets are like 21st 22nd 23rd 24th then I'm gonna say
north south because that's I believe that's what it yeah that's what'd be or
like Yale Sheridan Memorial and stuff like that so it's like so that's how
you know because of the the fairgrounds on the 21st and right there by Memorial
and Yale and stuff but some of things depends do you want to party do you want
to go to casinos do you want good food there's a ton of good food places so one
thing that I like that we've done the last few years is so historic route 66
goes there so we've been going to some different places each year on the
whole story about 66 I mean there's some things in town like the Marigold ice
cream thing then there's some little shops but there's just different things
around routes but you got to go the hard rock casino one night even if you don't
gamble they have music a lot of nights but that's where a lot of the race teams
are at a lot of bigger teams and there'll be out having fun hanging out
having a good time there's a good buffet there at the casino there's the pet
like said depends if you want to drink there's some unique bars like the drunk
monkey sutures course you know then you the elephant run used to be a big thing
that's not really a thing anymore there's somewhere else there's a lot of good
barbecue places like smoke steakhouse is a real good place I think we're gonna go
probably five or six years ago but that's a really good one I mean there's
just a smoke wood fire grills what it is it's a steakhouse that's a tallies tallies
is just like a it's just a popular diner right close to racetrack they've
always sponsored the races usually they'll stay open after the races you'll
see a lot of fans and drivers in the tallies rib crib rib trip barbecue I think
it's excellent now there's like four or five rib trips around town and I've been
to every one of them and they're different like some won't have the menu is the
other ones and I think the one on the south side of town is the best I really
do I think the one on the south side is the best out of all of them I've been to
River City Spirit casinos another one if you like casinos they've sponsored the
racetrack it's a little more laid-back than hard rock
looser slots if you're in the gambling mm-hmm they have what is the marker or
Jimmy buff but margaritaville yes margaritaville bar there yeah I mean
there's just a lot of hot spots I mean hard rock a lot of people go there like
said there's just there's so many little place town pump every place has a town
pump yeah it's kind of changed it's changed a little bit I don't know I
forget the name of the haven't been to it since one bartender she started her own
bar and the thing is some of them change like Cattleman's Country Club used to
be the hot spot like on Thursday night mm-hmm well then it closed then there's
another country bar though then it closed and the one we went to the started
being people getting killed there so it was like no point going there so you know
sometimes it it changes per night and like said it just depends what you want
but I'm gonna say the rib crib if you want food good barbecue definitely got
to go there if you want some fun places says sutures is a good place the drunk
and drunken monkey is a pretty good bar not surprised you go to a place called
the drunken we've only been there a couple times that there's we tried to
hit a couple different ones each year that we haven't been to like last year
one night we end up in a Dallas Cowboys bar which I'm not sure then we was in
the Kansas City chief bar so you know you got to watch it there's some weird
bars like that there in town start playing Taylor Swift or something yeah yeah
never good yeah that's going on speaking of that are you gonna be the
Browns new head coach there you know they said anyone off the street should
apply so how many AFCS north titles if they want price zero that's good
because Pittsburgh one again did the AFCS title you know yeah and you're bitching
about your coach who hasn't had a your team hasn't had a losing season since
I want to play off game in nine years yeah well hey at least it's time in six
years at least you get there man we'll see what happens yeah I honestly don't
agree with it I think Stefansky isn't a bad coach I think when you have no
fucking offense of weapons you get what you pay for so I'm sorry should do our
Sanders is I don't know if he's a quarterback of the future or not but
he only had what like eight nine games to even try so it's like yeah he's not
gonna be worth a shit yeah I don't know just whatever another Browns
dysfunction and I think our owners an idiot Jerry Jones Jr. you know right
kind of guy so yeah if you're in Tulsa back to that if you you know if you have
family there's the aquarium there the Tulsa zoo is pretty cool I hear I've
never been there they got a botanical gardens there's a lot of things like that
I think we're gonna go to the center of the universe this year gotcha I think
downtown as a place it's really developed to now when we first started
going and there's a couple places but downtown there's a lot of a lot of food
places and stuff I know there's one that's a rooftop barn grill now we've
never been that but there's tunnels of Tulsa I mean there's some stuff like
that too I mean if you're into I says it just depends on what you're into like
there's the Bob Dylan music center museum you know so I mean there's
literally one thing our list this year that we haven't done yet because a part
of Route 66 we're gonna do that Route 66 historical village this year gotcha
that's kind of on the southwest part of town mm-hmm and there's a restaurant down
there we want to hit that there's just some like I think it's Arnold's burgers
just like a 50s school yeah 50s burger shop old school decent prices there's
some awesome places like that too like said you can and we try to do a mix of
all that stuff you know I mean the Marigold district we did that last year
there's some neat neat little things there as part of Route 66 some nice
restaurants just some knick-knacky places and you know like some sculptures
and some just some neat little things along the way there and stuff too so I
just depends but yeah if you're like said tallies that's a hot spot there's we
kind of mix it up but see I haven't stayed right in Tulsa we say in
Catoosa now out by the hard rock so we haven't we sit all the hot spots and then
it kind of changes because if whatever hot spot of the night it gets so crowded
anymore because you know it used to be but now yeah you get more and more people
there and some people just go to town and don't go to races for a couple days
they'll go to town all week and maybe go to race a day or two and just go all the
parties and stuff too so you know you have some of that so and then you have
locals that know hey all the race people is gonna be here we'll come here and
party to and then you know so some of those places I've gotten away from a
few of them last few years and have some really neat places that we go to
Dwayne Hancock Tulsa tourist expert so we can get you some places like there's
there's that's crazy because like I said they kind of change per night or per
year too because some of them there some of them's not but I tell you there's a
good food a lot of places have good and like I said there's some some unique
places that's what we like about it there's a retro bar downtown that has
all the old pinball games like all the old drinks mm-hmm all that we've been
there a couple times some of them I think is free to play some of them's just a
quarter you know but it's they're usually playing you know 80s music type
thing and but all the older beers you want hams you know stuff like that they
have you know just just some weird places like that too yeah that's cool yeah
well there you go if you're going to Tulsa there's your your guide to Tulsa to
try out a few things at least and go make sure you go the track early at least
one day and go through the trade show a lot of neat things in the trade show you
know a lot of neat things and a lot of times some of the drivers are out doing
autographs at certain times yeah even the big shots right on it's 20 bucks if you
go and have a seat you can upgrade for 20 bucks some night go the pits if you do
that don't do it on friday or saturday yeah no shit to it one of the days
before do it on the first few days get there early walk through because even if
your driver is not racing that night a lot of times they were there because a
lot of them have teammates and they'll be watching them or helping work on their
car just hanging out selling merch or or what it's actually a pretty good place
to get an autograph or a picture or talk to long as a lot a lot of the bigger
teams have roped off area but as long as you stand there and don't be an idiot a
lot of them come over and talk to you and stuff so like I said if you do that
that's definitely some advice do it early in the week yeah because Friday and
Saturday's pain in the ass get around the pit yeah we've been seeing the earlier
days in the week you know with their highest attendance yes every year yeah
before long every day is gonna be sold out yeah so I think Tuesday sold out
last year on that night got you Wednesday did not but it's it's literally
getting close yeah yeah for sure all right on well I got nothing else RC
deal that's the other thing if you go on the Chile Bowl you want to have some fun
if you like remote control cars RC the mini Chile Bowl is behind the Chile Bowl
there's a barn I think it's the Ford barn so it's on state fairgrounds there'll be
signs there's thousands of I don't know a thousand four or five hundred I think
there's almost a thousand last time RC cars I think they race for 10,000 to win
geez and I mean like there's guys with like midget haulers full RC like six
800 tires yeah and all that stuff and it's free to get in so you can go there
and the best in the world of our remote control car dirt track racing is back
there too it's free get there early get a good parking spot go there best around
for a little bit walk may like they day you walk through the pits a little bit
too and yeah that's another thing you never seen it's kind of cool yeah cool
to check out taking all the sights and sounds about it that way all right well
I got nothing else to cover Dwayne anything we're missing comes off your dome
can't think of anything next time we'll talk will be the Monday after the Chile
Bowl being that Dwayne doesn't have the Chile Bowl flew and just feeling up for
it after a long drive back on the sun before but I always think Chile Bowl
flu is a myth I mean knock on wood I did get sick last year out there so I don't
know that's one reason we get to put pet pass every day because you know having
a reserve seat we get down and walk and get out of fumes I mean the stage that's
the only bad thing is sitting on the stage that's where all the fumes go so I
don't know you know first time I ever got sick out there I mean I had to flew
one time on the way out there so I didn't catch it before I went but yeah so
we'll see I'm actually doing airborne this year started today I'll probably
take a little face thing because sometimes it's supposed to be in the high
50s to close to 60 every day out there so ventilation should not be a problem
this year it's usually not but sometimes you know on Saturday if you
they're all day yeah so we'll see I still might be horse because you know you're
talking in the fumes all that you know how it is oh yeah I'm just going to
rumble you get a taste of it go there for six or seven days yeah quite the
difference I'm sure but yeah we'll see all right thanks for listening everybody
thank you for tuning in yeah if you're going Chile Bowl hit me up we'll try to
meet up I've met some dirt nerds fans out there before there you go
or whatever the bacon fans are bacon the bacon bits George and Ramon yeah
Bill and Ted yeah yeah yeah get ahold of the Wayne if you're going out there to
say hi and maybe he'll have some stickers on him even who knows hopefully
hopefully but yeah next time we'll talk to you it will be after the Chile Bowl
and go Steelers we'll see what happens hopefully Steelers will lose and we
don't have to worry about that anymore but of course they're playing on Monday
night when of course her harsh field give me shit because when Michigan was in
the national championship he missed the race that night and I gave him so much
shit he so he messed with first thing so we're gonna miss a race on Monday like
no but I'll just be tuned in from the racetrack hopefully yeah then rush to a
bar afterwards but of course Monday's usually longest night because you have
the race champions to why don't they all do hot laps that day too no Sunday
that's on Sunday yes so yeah hopefully I switched that a good Chile Bowl event
and a Steelers loss and we'll talk about it the Monday after we'll talk about you
know prior Ryan Tims or Jason personally win in the Steelers yeah we'll see
thanks as always for listening thank you for tuning in tell your friends tell
your family till next time we appreciate you stay dirty bye bye bye
