whole lot being off a week. Mother Nature decided to be a giant pain in the ass and continuing to
be a pain in the ass. Into this week, it looks like we'll see how the cards fall. But yeah,
it's been a moist spring so far this year. So trying to get some races in when we can,
but yeah, the bitch up in the sky is not a fan of racing specifically this year, we'll say.

that weekend. That weekend was supposed to be the word of outlaw weekend coming through Ohio,
Attica, Friday, Sharon, Saturday, cold temps forecast weather, all the above just kind of put
a damper on that for the whole weekend. So the outlaws pulled the plug on that. Understandably,
so I think the weather did get pretty crappy Friday and obviously where Attica is was probably
pretty frigid, but yeah, kind of a bummer. But like we said, Mother Nature is just not being
friendly this year. No, no, and Eldora was cold. Yes, trust me, it was cold, but they did a great
job of getting everything done. Yeah, they moved up their start times and everything to accommodate
the weather. But I had a good day for it. Otherwise, it was pretty clear, looked like most of the day,
just a little chilly at night. So it was. But yeah, Eldora raced a family fun night. A friend
of mine from work actually went and took his young daughter because he's been dying to go down there
and hadn't been. And I was telling him a family fun nights are great because all the extracurriculars
going on and all that kind of stuff. So he he made the trip down and had a lot of fun.
Daughter loved it, loved the drone show, loved the fireworks, you know, all the fun stuff that
kids love bounce houses, face paint, did the whole nine yards. So it looked like crowd was
actually better than I thought it would be with the weather the way it was. Yeah, the crowd was
really big. It came in a little later while we didn't get there till literally right before hot
laps. Yeah, I mean, the autograph session, all that was done when we got there. There's this
pulling away. So we got there right for hot laps. Yeah, it was turned out to be a very, very nice
crowd and good races. And they did a little different format. They kind of did. Okay, we're
doing a shootout format. Yes. Yep. So that made it interesting. And then then they end up the
the only, I'd say the only drawback was that 33 stock cars and a couple of scratch. So they
said put, I think it started 28 or 29 in the main. There's reason you have a B main sometimes.

only ever raced Eldora once in an Arca truck. I had a real good shot. I went in the A main and
would have definitely been second. Maybe had a shot at Rob Trent at the end, but
he's passing for second when the last caution came out. But the top four or five guys is really
battling out all night down there and the stock cars for sure. And like you said, Rob Trent got
the win in the stock cars. Luke Hall won the midgets in Evan Taylor, I believe won the mods.
Yes. Yep. And Evan came on at the end and yeah, my buddy Porman ended up third for his first time
down there and very impressive for, you know, it's hard to just go into Eldora and act like you
belong the third quick second heat. And so it would have been second A for sure is just passing
for second when the caution came out. Then might have had something for Trent the last two laps.

know those are D2 midgets racing down there. It's quite a big track for them, but it still
looked like the tracks looked off enough to have some decent racing. Yeah, it was pretty good.
I mean, the first half of it was really good. I mean, then Luke, you know, even the first
couple laps after Luke, I think he took the lead about half way and he didn't really run away until
he had to lead for 34 laps and he started running away once they got into
traffic and that. But yeah, I thought it was pretty decent for, like said, a big track and
such. It was pretty good. I mean, and the D2 is getting like that where you got,
you know, it's about like a pavement wing sprint car race. You got four or five really,
really fast, good cars with all the best equipment, the best engines and you got, you know,
you know, 10, 15 mid-pack guys and you got some of your guys just learning and slowing and
buying the $500 engine from the junkyard and putting it, you know, and so, but yeah, I mean,
it was, it was good. The good guys, I mean, and, you know, and you've seen people grow through
that division, you know, like Jacob Boxle, you know, Zach Weigel, some of those guys that's,
you know, racing on the national scene now, Jacob Denny, you know, so, and, you know,
you see some of these guys a couple of years ago that was some of the slower guys starting,
their equipment gets better and better. And yeah, I thought it was good. I mean,
like I said, Paul, it wasn't a give me to talk about halfway before he got in the lead. And
matter of fact, there for a while, I didn't think he was going to get the lead. It's like, man,
he's good, but then then all of a sudden he just kind of took over and
but yeah, I thought it was a good race. Yeah. Well, it was about the only thing going on. It
seemed like anywhere around. Yeah, that or Florence. And we kind of thought about Florence for a hot
minute and I was like, yeah, it's hard to beat Eldora and I wouldn't see poor man race anyways and
worked out pretty good, especially with 10 bucks to get in and all that stuff too. So,
yeah, and it was done by nine. I mean, the racing part was done like court after nine.
So yeah, good show. Another good job by Eldora. As always, they have been tuning those shows in and
August, I got another one with 360 sprints on the card. So it's another good show to get to if you
can. Yeah, I think I think there's gonna be a ton of people from our area going down to that one.
Well, at least from Brian because a lot of people want to see poor man race and I told them, like,
there's the time to go and I know it sounds like there's three campers going or two campers,
there's a priority going full people and so that should be another good one.
Yeah, about the closest thing locally. Well, I have it kind of as number one because it was
kind of local, but it was also a big, big stage. The High Limit series was at Kokomo this weekend,
highly anticipated return of Wing Sprint cars coming back. You know, they've been there
the last few years and seems to be a decent show, but supposed to be a two night show. Friday night
got rained out, unfortunately, but Saturday went on as planned. I actually caught a lot of this
on the feature at least on flow racing. Aaron Reitzel kind of got the lead and stuck with it
didn't really have a lot of crazy contention, but man, the battle from second to sixth was
pretty gnarly. Most the frickin featured, wouldn't you say? Oh, 100%. Yeah, and they changed the
purse too because, you know, it's supposed to pay, I forget, 10,000, 15 and that. So they made it,
but it ended up paying 20,000 to win, I think. Yeah, I think I saw 20 grand. It was the Brian
Kloss Memorial race. Yeah. It was 1800 to start then on Saturday. It was co-sanctioned with the
All-Star. So, you know, you had some of our guys that we see here in Ohio a lot over there too,
because it's co-sanctioned with the All-Stars, which must have been some type of All-Star points
because they seem to All-Star points changed. So it must not just been show up points, but yeah,
anyways, yeah, right. So like you said, he, I mean, it really wasn't a give me, but it was kind
of, you know, I mean, he didn't get challenged a lot, but yet there's close enough at times that
once you're there two or three times, he put it right in the fence, you know, I mean, hit the
law and turn, come especially coming off turn four. He thought, oh, he's going to give it away. But
yeah, but oh yeah, a very intense battle from like said, second to sixth, seventh. I mean, that was
super intense. Yeah, poor Brady Bacon, man. He was running whatever fourth or third, making a charge,
and then got, had to stop for a caution or car spawn or something. So he stopped on the track.
So he had to go back to the Dale. Yeah, he kind of, well, it looked like to me, is there's Courtney,
which I don't know what his deal was. He was, what, three or four deals. Say his Kokomo luck
turned around big time. Yeah. And, uh, they, it was Madsen and, and, uh, Courtney, uh,
crash or spinning. And, uh, it looked like to me, Brady called out of Courtney's eye,
and he was just there in the corner and got up and thick cushion and hit the brakes and just
killed the engine. He hit them too hard. And because it looked like there's going to come
shooting up the track. And I think he, I don't think he meant to get on the brakes that hard,
but he's in that big fix, fix stuff and hit the brakes and just must have got on them too hard
and locked her up. Yeah. I was a bummer to see that. I was hoping he would be one to maybe give
him a shot, but, uh, unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Um, but, uh, sorry, looking for
top results here. Cause I can't remember second place. Justin Peck, he was kind of, he looked
finally good this year. Yeah. And he runs good there. Yeah. He's always good at Kokomo.
But Rico and third having a good start to his season, I think, uh, Brent Marks actually had a
pretty good showing and he's been up and down the last few, uh, weeks, it seems like. So,
um, yeah, another good show. I know Wrights will set it and I don't, I guess I never thought much
of it and paid attention, but, uh, Wrights will said, you know, feel like you didn't get a,
they, the series didn't get a fair shot at Kokomo the last few times because the weather,
oh yeah. Cause it's been hammered down. I mean, it's been, that hasn't even been halfway up the
track. Yeah. So, you know, this was kind of the best Kokomo experience they've had, uh, in a while,
uh, since coming there. So, uh, yeah, it was good to see another, another, uh, Chase Randall,
he was another one's finished sixth, our 21st, Joe Myers Jr. Yeah. Yeah. That was another surprise
too. Yeah. They had a real good battle and yeah, that's another track Randall's good at. And
you know, who says wing sprint car racing, don't draw a pack crowd. I don't know if you've seen
the crowd, but look like to me, it was standing remotely. Yeah. Looking at the high shots, uh,
you can see parking a lot. Look like every spot was taken. I mean, no parking there can get fun
sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. And front and front session, back stretch both look like to me,
standing remotely. So, uh, if you were on some wing sprint car races in Indiana with the Wright
series, uh, I think you get, get some people there. Yeah. I retract my statement about Brent
Marks. He finished 14th, but he was running good. Yeah. But he got one of those late race cautions.
He got in, I think it was the one with two to go or three to go. Yeah. He was running good. You,
you was right. He was, he was running up there. One of the late race cautions, I think is one of
the four or five that Courtney was in. You tell you how bad of a night cause Courtney wanted to
win that race so bad cause he's, you know, carrying the closet and deal. And the after the last one,
he just got out of car and screw it. I'm done. Cause I don't think he's car. I mean, it was on
the record, but it didn't look like it was that much damage. And he's next, no.
Final meter was pegged. Yeah. Yeah. But Brady Bacon had to go to the tail. Like we said,
he started third, was running up front. Uh, had to go back to the tail, but ended up ninth. So
still a decent run for him. Uh, obviously having to come up through quite a bit of traffic kill
Thomas finished seventh. Uh, I think he was the highest all star guy to finish. I think so him
and Caleb Henry is fighting it out for the highest all star guy for quite a while, but I think
Thomas ended up beating him by two spots. I think a few cause Caleb was credited with 11th.
Caleb was seventh. So ended up a little bit more of a spread, but yeah, another, another good, uh,
good show at the Kokomo with the wingspring cars. We'll see, uh, where it goes in the future. I know
it's, it's been a demand for a while. So glad to see it's become more regular. That's for sure.
Oh yeah. 100%. Um, other news, word of outlaw sprint cars were out
in Williams Grove. Like we said, it rained out the weekend before here in Ohio. Um,
but had two nights for the Morgan cup on Friday and Saturday. This past weekend,
the Friday night was a bit of a surprise winner. Uh, I didn't realize his first ever
word of outlaw when Casey Kane in the Mackery 39 car. Yeah. And it's funny because when,
you know, Mackery, they said, oh, Casey came in and drive it because Casey hasn't drove all year.
And, uh, you know, uh, it was kind of didn't race a lot last year and everybody's like, oh,
Jesus, he's going to suck. Why'd you put him in and blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, I guess he
showed them. Yeah. 10, 10,456 days after his outlaw debut, he finally got a win that, you know,
what is it? Six times series car owner champion of the outlaws, five of sweet and one with Pittman.
You know, one time high limit car owner champion and won all star races and USAC races. But yeah,
first ever, uh, outlaw race and it was no give me. I mean, uh, he was highly pressured by Sheldon
Onschild. Um, you know, especially right at the end, Sheldon was beside him a couple times and, uh,
I thought it was awesome to see the emotion. I mean, uh, this is one of the,
probably one of the most emotional. I've ever seen Casey King had, you know, because he's always
kind of calm, cool, collective and don't, but I mean, he was, uh, very emotional, very happy,
just showed what it meant to him to finally win a race in it and with the outlaws. And it was
cool. Even, even the Anthony Mackery, I don't know if you've seen any of it or not, but it's
funny. Mackery's interview goes, you know, a lot of people thought he wasn't getting, goes,
matter of fact, I ain't gonna lie. He says, I was singing it too. It was like, man,
he ain't gonna be that good. And he goes, uh, you know, he goes, but he's taught me a lot
so far. And he goes, I taught him some things, how to get around here. And he goes, he's just
been amazing so far. And, you know, he's gave, he goes, he's just a true professional. He says,
he's helped me and I'm not even driving and I've helped him. And it's just,
so it's just awesome because I was like, well, what are you thinking? He goes, well, I can't
really say what I'm thinking because it won't be appropriate for a dirt vision interview. But
it's just awesome. He goes, bad ass. Yeah. And then he followed up Saturday night. He didn't get
the win, but he did start on the pole, but ended up fifth still. So I'd say a pretty respectable
weekend for him, regardless of, uh, you know, going back a little bit on Saturday, but still
hard to stay in the top five spot with the outlaws and the posse guys up there.
Well, especially when, yeah, I think they said it was six or eight months since he's a racist
brand car. Oh yeah. I wouldn't doubt it. Every bit of that. Yeah. But Saturday's, Saturday's win,
going to David gravel, little different podium, had a couple of PA guys on there with Justin
Whittle and Troy Wagamon, Jr. Sheldon fourth. So he finished a good weekend as well.
That's Casey Kane. So, uh, well, then Whittle's card, I just see it's a rod gross. That's part of
Tanner. It's kind of a spin off of Tanner Thorson. That's who's, you know, in with Tanner Thorson
is a rod gross. And that's this car is a rod gross entry with a widow. Yeah, I saw that.
Yeah, that one threw me off to a little. I was like, wait, that's the,
that's, you know, Thorson's guy, but, uh, yeah, good, good car count. As always,
you expect with the posse coming to town. I'm sorry, outlaws coming to posse town and all that stuff.
I didn't hear of anything crazy or unexpected other than obviously Casey Kane taking the
win Friday on the weekend though. I didn't really hear of much controversy.
Um, just guys, uh, you know, uh, the teams that get guys that got fired or teams that
cut shut. No. Yeah, we'll talk about Lincoln on Tuesday. Yeah. Yeah. That was kind of a
last minute rush for a few guys, but Buddy Koford got the win Tuesday night over at Lincoln
with Carson Macedo, second chase deets, third. So another, you know, gotta have a posse guy
up there every once in a while. So it worked out well. Yeah. Um, yeah. Close the tab on that one.
Other stuff going on. Dwayne mentioned Illinois speed week, which is three nights of flow racing
night supposed to be in two nights of Lucas oil racing out of whatever the five shows they only
got in two spin river on Tuesday night, I believe, or Wednesday night, Wednesday, Wednesday. So,
yeah. And then, uh, Fairberry, the finale on Saturday for Lucas oil. See you're doing dyin'
over there. Um, yeah. Yeah. So Bishop won both of them crazy enough. They tried to get Lincoln in.
They got so far and then, uh, mother nature showed up and rain. Yeah. Well, they get
one heat race or two heat races in. Yeah. So they, uh, they're rained and they're like,
okay, we're going to try it again and then it rained again. I was like, nope. Cause that'd
occur for you there. Yeah. Right in town. Been there. It's a cool little bowl ring. 1030 cure for
you. Yep. Um, but Bishop won $30,000 at Fairberry, which was a well attended race, but 48 cars on
hand. I watched a lot of that on flow racing and the feature for sure. Again, another one where
Bishop was kind of out there, then kind of started, you know, then guys kind of got close to him,
but then lap choice kind of got player. So it's beside him. Yeah. He ended up eighth, which
is crazy to me. Uh, you know, he was up there running well and fighting the whole time. Yeah.
Looked like he might have a shot to win. You know, I mean, he was side by side with him for
several laps, came out of deep in the field to our deeper in the field. Yeah. And I think his
problem was he was running that bottom line and lap traffic became an issue and just couldn't
get off of it. Yeah. But Bishop won Nick Hoffman second, Brian Shirley third, I believe he started
on the pole, uh, was hoping for a big Lucas oil race win there, uh, over 10 fourth and Bobby Pierce
and fifth. Uh, but man, just another crazy freaking track, uh, by Fairberry. It's just
a hard place to beat when it comes to late mile racing. Oh yeah. It's like the Kokomo for
sprint cars that 100% is. I mean, um, and, uh, Attica social media, uh, guy, uh, Jacob Hoard,
our friend, uh, was over to Fairberry on Saturday. Good. Good to know. Taking, taking in, uh,
Lucas oil, eight models. Yeah. That's a big, big event for them. It's their second biggest one
of the year, obviously, besides the PDC. So, uh, good, uh, good shot. You know, good race to get
to if you can. Uh, yeah. Hudson, Neil, Devin, Moran, both having some crummy nights. Ricky
Thornton Jr. Same. Just, uh, couldn't get the whole show together. It's tough. 48 cars on hand,
especially it's not easy to, uh, to come back from starting off slow or having flat tires and
heat races and stuff like that. So, um, well, RTJ had a crappy night at, uh, Spoon River too.
Yeah. Yeah. He's, he's had to fight through some things this week. 21st or 23rd or something.
Yeah. He was 25th at Fairberry. Yeah. He's a little, he's having some issues this year. I mean,
and we've seen this, you know, I mean, you get somebody that wins 30 races, you know,
234 years in a row like he has, then all of a sudden it's like the switch flips and,
you know, like a Davenport went through the same thing for a little while, you know?
Yeah. We talk, you know, one, one's going to happen to Pierce. I don't know.
Well, and the thing we talk about is that, but, you know,
Lucas Oil had a doubleheader the weekend before at Circle City and then the Ralph Latham at Florence,
where Thornton won at Circle City on Friday night. Yep. Uh, and then Hudson went on to win at
Florence on Saturday night. So, um, you never know how the chips are going to fall sometimes.
No, for sure. Well, the late model deal, it's so competitive right now. You know, I mean, there's
obviously the, well, the last few years you've had
RTJ and Bobby Pierce, some of the majority shows. Now this year it's Bobby Pierce and Hudson O'Neill.
You know, RTJ struggled a little bit, but there's still, there's a ton of guys that just like said,
I mean, there's a lot of movers and shakers that seems like need to trace us like at Fairbury. I mean,
here come Clay Harris, I know where Shirley is up there for a while. Neither one's won the Lucas Oil
race. And that, you know, I mean, he hits the ultimate competitive right now. Yeah, crazy stuff.
Hudson leads the Lucas Oil by 35 points over Devon, B-Shep in Overton, Ricky Thornton in fifth,
just on the outside of that top four. But, uh, yeah, another couple weeks for Lucas Oil getting
in. Farmer City was supposed to be their big race Friday night. That got rained out, unfortunately.
Um, yeah, so everyone, like I said, didn't matter where you were, seemed like everyone was fighting
whether one way or another. Oh yeah, one, we talked about Williams Grove. They wasn't too sure
Saturday was going to happen there. I mean, the guys even talked about Friday night in the interviews
like, well, we hope we get tomorrow in, but it's not looking good. But somehow they missed it. But,
some other tracks in PA got rained out too. So yeah, it's, that's the thing is so widespread.
Justin, uh, this guy from Attic and I was talking about that Friday. He's like, well,
now you got a chance to go somewhere, which Friday I was not feeling good at all.
So I wasn't even, you know, you know, me, I have, you know, A, B, C, D, E sometimes F option.
And like I told him, I said, I was looking before Thursday night, I was looking
before I felt like shit on Saturday or Friday. Um, it's like three, I mean, my E and F options,
it was all rained out too. I mean, there was, I mean, it was Michigan, it was Indiana, it was
Illinois. I mean, there was, cause Farmer City was, uh, if Attica canceled early enough and
Farmer City was racing, that was my first choice. And then, uh, I, uh, Hartford, I could have went
to I-96, but I didn't feel, it tells you how bad I felt. I didn't go up there. I, that was like my
F option because Lima was one of my options. And you know, there was just, uh, pulling
me through Indiana was one of my options. I mean, you know, it was widespread. I mean,
and everything was canceled except for I-96. And I just, I was like, no, I ain't going. I
did something I rarely do, especially on a weekend. I sat on the couch wrapped in a blanket Friday
night. Yeah. And speaking of, uh, results, uh, one, another race I got in, uh, was far further.
So Atomic Speedway had the Iron Man late model series. And, uh, our friend Jerry Bowersock
got himself a late model win. Been a while. Um, I know he's been, you know, trying to, uh,
get everything in line and, and get his late model program kind of back. I think I overheard
at Montpelier. He was racing his mod, but he said late model wasn't ready yet, waiting on some stuff.
So he, uh, he was able to, uh, shake the car down with a win down at Atomic for five grand. So yeah,
I know he had to go to rock and get some things because he called me a couple of weeks ago,
bought some things and I think he was going to rock it. I think that day to pick up the late
model, I think when he called me at what, and, you know, yeah, it was a great one that he won.
And, you know, we have a group text with our buddies, you know, Missler and Devin Shields. And
I know why they haven't won because they don't have a door that they gave me to hang in my garage
like Jerry Bowersock did. So that's why they won. Shots fired. Gotcha. Well, if it's any
consolation for you, I've had a bunch of parts at Devin's I'm supposed to get and I still haven't
got them. So, uh, don't feel bad. Well, you know, they're hanging your garage. It's not going to
give them away. I mean, Jerry, see, you know, I gotta miss, I gotta miss a rough in my garage. So
I got a Missler's poster sticker. Uh, but yeah, they, uh, I think Cole Duncan won the sprint cars
down there. Surprise there. He did. Yep. With gladiatorship him and him and Corey Crabtree look
like they had a pretty good battle actually. I mean, it looked like it don't look like Cole kind
of, you know, Cole usually dominates at the time. It looked like, uh, like Crabtree,
kept him pretty honest most of the race from what I heard and seen. Yeah. Um, the I-96 race,
as Dwayne mentioned, Rusty Schlinke got the win over Cody Bauer, Donna McCoyer, Logan Nickerson,
and Eric Spengler, our buddy Devin and his son, Braden were up there. I think they finished like
six and 11th or something. Um, looked like a pretty long night, uh, actually up there. So, um,
yeah, they had five divisions because they had the boss slash Great Lakes, uh, traditional sprints,
uh, combined show. Yeah. And Ricky Lewis won that. Yep. Gotcha. Sorry. I'm looking at results,
but their page is a little goofy. So yeah, yeah. Ricky Lewis won that. Um, I know Jacob
Boxall made his 410, I think non-Wing sprint card debut and, uh, Matt Westfall entry up there.
I think he ends up seventh or eighth, maybe.
And so not bad for a debut in the, you know,
running the Westfall or four Kings part of Westfall midget team. And, uh,
looks like he's going to run the 54, I think it was B or S or something, uh,
teammate, uh, Matt Westfall in the non-Wing cars, I handle, or I don't know exactly how many times,
be honest, but Friday night was first one. Um, other news stuff to talk about any other race. Oh,
I'm sorry, USAC, uh, the, uh, national Silver Crown was in action. That's what I meant to say. Well,
the week before, I should say first and second of May, uh, the national sprint cars were in action
at Bloomington and Hobstot. Kyle Cummins won at Bloomington and Mitchell Moles won at Hobstot.
Silver Crown was, I believe Hayden Reinbold got himself the win.
And it's first ever Silver Crown race. Yeah.
At a last lap pass over Justin Grant.
Sorry, coming to the white, uh, it's coming to the white, I guess, or
right at start finish, like you get the white, he took the lead and, um, going down the back stretch,
Grant ended up, they thought maybe he was running out of fuel because he ended up getting past,
he ended up third or fourth, I think, I think third.
Yeah. Um, yeah. Hayden Reinbold first, uh, first start. I think they said it's been since
I had, it's been, I mean, several years since somebody made their Silver Crown debut on one of
their Silver Crown debut. I forgot, I've seen the stat, but yeah, that's cool. Hayden Reinbold's
another, uh, you know, kid that he's, he's got to be, last year, I want to say he's the most
improved driver in USAC. Um, and, you know, he just keeps growing and growing. You know, I mean,
that's, uh, another one that started off kind of rough, but he took his hits and didn't quit. And,
um, now it's being dividends. Last time someone won their first USAC Silver Crown start 1984.
Yeah. I guess I, I was thinking it was 87 or 84. I couldn't remember. I knew, I knew what said 80
something and yeah, that's a few minutes ago. Yeah. Only eight drivers ever pulled it off
on that list before you was born, Elliot. Yes. On that list is AJ Foyt and Danny Smith actually. So
yeah, pretty, uh, pretty crazy way to go Hayden. Yeah. Like you said, been, been improving behind
the wheel for the last few years. So yeah, to see some, uh, efforts, uh, follow through out in
Kansas too. So pretty far out there. Yeah. Um, yeah, other news we got a little some ride swaps
happening, uh, unexpectedly. I saw the, uh, a tweet, I think our buddy TJ Slideways put on
there. If you're a sprint car driver today and you, uh, see your car owner calling, you might
just want to ignore it. Yeah. Yeah. I'll forget the call today. Yeah. Um, but, uh, we know Scotty
Field and the Wheeler 16 parted ways. The speculation was Wheeler was going to be, or the car was
coming off the series, but they since, uh, named a, another driver to stay on the series with
Skyler G back behind the wheel. Yeah. Which had, uh, I think if you go back and listen to one of our
outlaw preview episodes, I think I predicted that ride was going to be done before May and
it was pretty damn close fit for the combination. I was more surprised that I was more surprised
that they found another driver and are staying on the series, to be honest. My guess is Skyler
brought some back. Yeah. I had imagined. Um, the other one, uh, where is it? Oh, the 1A,
the shark racing 1A car, Ashton Torgerson, uh, announced that they were parking it, uh, after
last week or two weeks ago. No, after Lincoln on Tuesday, after they crashed with,
they crashed with shoe heart and logie bear. It looked like he was a little upset at the 1A
and the next day it's parked. So yeah. Yeah. Sorry. Timeline was off on that one, but Torgerson
did get a ride in the Kyle Moody 99M for the weekend at Williams Grove to try to stay in
some decent status with the outlaws. But, um, yeah, the 1A is parked for the foreseeable future,
I'm guessing. I didn't, they didn't put a timeframe on anything, but, um, no, nope. And they said
there's just a lot going on behind the scenes that Jacob, you know, sounds like he's having a
makeup is, uh, Emerson Aksum's crew hired him, uh, at least for last weekend. It's not like he
might stay on for a little bit. Uh, he's helping out the, the 27, uh, Kloss Meyer, who I don't
know who Kloss Meyer's partner is. There's two partners in that team. Um, with Emerson Aksum
helping. So I mean, that's, that's cool. Um, the other one I saw today's was, I just saw it today.
Don't want to have him. It's Scott Boguski. Uh, yeah, a couple of days ago. Yep. Three days ago.
Racing. Three Stooges racing. Uh, what else? I feel like there's another one I'm missing, Dwayne.
Um, I don't know. Three Stooges with him, which there's no replacement driver, which,
you know, that is going for rookie of the year too. So, you know, speculation is maybe Targerson
will end up there before the next outlaw race, which is this weekend in Eldora. Maybe not. Um,
I don't know. I don't know if there is another one that, um, I don't know. Nothing's coming to my
mind. So, um, kind of, kind of the big, I say a bigger one, uh, not driver swap, but another
bit of news, uh, coming out of I 75 Speedway in Tennessee. Uh, it was the crate division.
Greg Martin was handed a two minimum year suspension from the 604 racing series that
was under, uh, sanctioned Saturday night at I 75 Raceway. Um, originally Corey Hedgecock got
disqualified because his dad was actually the one, um, Mr. Martin decided to drive into the hot pit
and hit another car, which was actually being worked on, uh, by some crew members, sending
one crew member, both of them tumbling, one of them further than the other, but supposedly
needed some stitches after the fact. Yeah. Each staples in his head. Yeah. So, uh, Hedgecock's
dad got arrested then too. Yes. I saw that. Uh, but her Hedgecock's dad ran over to hit the kill
switch on the dude's car and they thought he reached in to hit the guy, which was not the case.
Yeah. Um, I don't know what happened with Hedgecock situation. Obviously all the video showed
exactly that. And, uh, that's when the series said this gentleman needs some more, uh, attention.
And, uh, yeah, it was quite the, quite the interesting affair. What did you think, Dwayne?
Oh, I think he's a big pussy. It's like, get out of a car and fight like a man if you're
that pissed, you know, I mean, yeah, you're hitting, you're hitting. I mean, you know,
I kind of post the deal. I mean, you see him too much to shit every weekend somewhere. I mean,
a lot of it's pavement racing, but then the Southern tracks like this, you this year about
every weekend, you're seeing this as Southern track. Another guy using his car, you know,
now most of us have been on the racetrack, you know, a couple of weeks ago, there's officially
that got drug at one of those tracks down that way that, you know, it's trying to stop the guy's car
and he took off with a dragon and shits like somebody's going to get killed. I mean, I, I
100% agree with this two year suspension and the rest of this dude. I mean, the only thing
that needed to happen yet is I'm dragging him out and beating his ass before he went to jail.
Because I mean, I mean, especially when you're in the hot pit and while you're in the hot pit,
you're getting worked on and everybody's like, well, he didn't know those people are there.
Well, yeah, you didn't know, uh, you know, it's like saying, well, I didn't know the bull was
going to come out of the gun when I pulled the trigger. You know, I mean, you know, it's like
if the guy's in the hot pit, he ain't just sitting there to go get a bag of popcorn.
You know, I mean, uh, and you know, I, this is an innocent person that yeah,
he was on the other dude's crew, but you know, ended up getting eight staples and he said,
well, what happens if his arm would have been, you know, up in the tire well and then, you know,
I mean, could have lost his arm or the car falling and lose his leg or something. You know, I mean,
it's just, it's just getting way out of control, especially down south and you know, I know they're
stealing each other's, uh, blowing money for the next week, but man, come on, you guys got to do
better than that. I mean, it's somebody's going to get killed over something stupid like that. And
that's like, like I said, how much does it pay to even win? You know, I mean, it's like, uh,
yeah, I, I mean, I thought it was absolutely ridiculous. And I, I think, uh, you know,
it's one of those, you know, you get a guy that suspended a year for a track for saying the F word
and victory lane. And then you take the look, well, this dude only got suspended for two years. And
you know, of course, he is getting it for attempted vehicular or whatever.
Activated assault or whatever. Yeah. So, so that's going to be a bigger problem for him
than a two year suspension from that track. I mean, I'm sure, but, uh, because they said,
supposedly it's a felony. Um, yeah, dude got hurt and so Hedgecock's dad was just,
Hedgecock got disqualified because his dad who was helping Henderson, the guy that
was the other end of that accident, um, whose crew members got hit. Um,
Hedgecock's dad was helping Henderson out that night. He touched Martin's car. So that's why
they disqualified him right or wrong is what it is, I guess. But, uh, yeah. And that's funny because
Hedgecock's dad wasn't even helping Hedgecock. He was helping another guy,
but Hedgecock's the one that got disqualified for it. Well, then you see people trying to stick up
for this guy. They're like, Oh, let's Greg Martin's a great guy and he's this and this and this. Okay.
No, no, let's, but, okay. Let's say he didn't know those people were there and maybe he didn't. But
then after there's in his car and stuff and he knows what he did because people are over there
saying, Hey, you hit these guys that, did you see him take off? Yeah. I mean, there's people
staying around and he's hitting the throttle, spinning shit all over. And you know, somebody
could have easily still been hanging on these car. And it's like, well, you know, there's acting
like, well, he didn't know and he is really sorry and all that. Well, then why do you pull out like
he is a dickhead yet too then? I mean, yeah, I have no use for people like that. If you can't tell.
I put it this way. First impressions are everything. You hear the saying, Oh, I've never heard of,
what's this guy's name? Greg Martin before there's one that raced at Oak Street for years,
but he's from Michigan. So definitely not this guy. But I've never heard of this fellow before.
Now it's always going to go through my head. Anytime I hear or see that name, if I ever see
this guy race, all I'm going to ever think about is, Oh, he's the one that ran into the car and,
you know, nailed the crew guys. That's all I'm going to think of. Yeah. Maybe I'll be thinking,
Hey, there's that dickhead. That's an idiot. That's too big of a pussy to fight like a man.
Yeah. And the other driver, Matt, sorry, Matt Henderson said, you know, I accept he accepted
responsibility for the contacts that he bottomed out and hit Greg getting into into turn one.
What I understood if you wanted to fight me or tell me unhappy was, but obviously,
you know, didn't necessarily care for the contact made in the pits and
hurt his guys. So I had the one guy that got the stitches or eight staples
had injured his ribs as well. Then the other team member was Bruce scratched and broke his
glasses. So, you know, not not seriously injured, but still not how you want to leave the racetrack
that night saying, Hey, I need a new pair of glasses all of a sudden. Yeah. And we know that
ain't cheap for people that wear glasses like myself. But one, and here's the other thing,
you're pissed off because he spun you out. Neither car looked too damaged. Well, then
you're going to pile into him and do damage to his car and your car. And some of these other guys
that's done it this year is totally demolished. Your car is like, you're pissed off, but yet
you're stupid enough to do a thousand dollars more with a damage or more to your car afterwards
or a couple thousand and most of these cases, it's like, yeah. Like Jimmy Owens always said,
I get mad until I think about how much it's going to cost if I do something. So then you just let
it go. Right. Yeah, my guess is he probably drives for a car owner and he don't pay his own bills.
51 years old though, you'd think you know better.
Well, as, uh, as on my post I put on Facebook, somebody replied, well, the mug shot makes him
look guilty. That's all I got to say. But yeah, I suppose he's a great guy, which, uh, I don't know.
And I get, you lose your time, but don't go in the pits and I don't go in the pits anywhere.
And anybody I don't care if it's hot pit, somebody's pit area, because I mean,
there's kids around, there's people around and it's always the innocent people to get hurt.
You know, I mean, these guys work on car, had no clue that he was going to come in there.
And well, one guy's like, well, they hit up four miles per hour. Well, it doesn't matter.
Yeah. You know, which, you know, one dude went to the hospital. I mean, if he would have hit it
harder, I mean, they already got eight staples. Well, what does, oh, what about mattered if it
got 20 instead? You know, I mean, it's like the people, the last one gets me, the people
is trying to make it right that he did that. Well, he did get taken out. It's like,
okay, how about you go stand in front of car and let us hit it. And you go flying through there
and see how it feels. Yeah. Not, uh, not the way anyone wants to finish their weekend. We'll put
it that way. No. And it's just all, yeah, all over, you know, probably, and I wasn't even for the
lead, was it? It was like, there's running, I think like fifth or sixth. So, you know, it's like,
you know, five or 300 bucks or like you, it says makes 125. Yeah. Yeah. Those crates don't use a
race for a whole lot of money being a series race. Maybe they're racing for like two grand
to win. But, uh, yeah, still not worth hurting someone over. That's for sure. No. And could have
been life altering, altering to somebody if, you know, just lucky that, you know, wasn't anything
real serious. Yeah. Yeah. This is a interesting way to end the weekend, needless to say.
Um, yeah, Jonathan Davenport swept Batesville. They had the bad boy 98 down there. That's where
his car owners from or their shop is. So he stayed a little more local to his car owner
to get another win. A couple of wins we'll say. Oh, he's cherry picking if you read the internet.
Oh, I know. Just like Overton was, you know, early in the air, but there were some good cars there.
Yeah. I mean, any, any bigger, like my race, there's always a handful of really good cars.
Yeah. Uh, Mike Marlar, one down at Ponderosa on Friday, I believe. Yep.
And then Zach Mitchell won a spring nationals race at Lake Cumberland Saturday night. So
some, uh, regional racing going on, but those are both Southern all stars, aren't they?
Uh, yes. And then Lake, Lake Cumberland, uh, wait, that's Mitchell. Sorry. Yep. Yep. Yep.
I don't know what the hell I'm looking at. Yeah. So, well, what else? What else you got to talk about
the way anything is funny? Cause our, my buddy, you know, that's the, the Southern all star official
set me a picture and he's like, Jenna's brother's here.
Like heck yeah. Uh, but she did pretty decent Mason Ziegler. I think you finished second Mason
Ziegler won at Outlaw Speedway in New York over some of the ULMS regulars. I believe he's a regular
this year too. Um, I know, uh, Pinkers, I think, uh, had some issues. Oh yeah. Yeah. With, uh,
Demetrius, uh, when Demetrius, uh, the dude come from big blocks. Um, I can't think of these.
Derelos. Derelos. Derelos. Yeah. Yeah. Demetrius Derelos. But Pinkerton, I mean,
look when he came to the Attica, he had everything but the pace truck. So
not too sure if it's Pinkerton. It seems like it's Pinkerton and it's always everybody else's fault,
but I don't know that night at Attica. Pinkerton. Whatever his name is. Pinkerous. Pinkerous. Bam,
bam. Yeah. Pinkerous. Yeah. Well, he's got a damn right good nickname. Bam, bam. Cause it's every
damn thing but the pace truck. So see why he got this nickname. He did that night at Attica. I mean,
I don't think he was there. Well, you on the Attica when he was there, was it? No, I wasn't.
But yeah, I remember you saying he had everything. Oh dude, he did. I mean, he, I mean, I can just
think of, you know, Dave's Thunder, go out there and hit the pace truck because that's about the
only damn thing you haven't hit so far. Yeah. Um, but he's young, you know, I mean, he's all these
what kids that started racing late miles and he was 13 or 14 and while he's 17 now. So yeah.
So where are you going this weekend? Dwayne? I think we know the answer.
Uh, well, the plan right now is to be at Fremont Speedway tomorrow. I was going to say, I guess
we should talk about kind of another big race weekend for sprint cars in Ohio. Huge race weeks.
They had tomorrow Fremont, a 75th anniversary or 71st birthday bash,
$75,000 first, $20,000 to win. Um, for the All-Star Circuit champions tomorrow. We already know
Aaron Wright's little Brady Bacon and Tyler Courtney is going to be there. A rumor is cold
Macedo and Lane Crawley and a few of them are in town as well. Then they go, Attica has the John
Borers 20th anniversary non-sanctioned show on Thursday, $20,000 to win a $68,500 purse.
And if one driver wins both, they get a $10,000 bonus. So between those two shows, if you sweep them,
you're not going to take home 40 grand. You're going to take home 50 grand. Yeah.
And that's even before we get to Eldora on Friday and Saturday for let's race two with
usex prints and we're allowed also my plan right now is hit all four tomorrow, Fremont, Thursday,
Attica and Friday and Saturday Eldora. There you go. We all, we were talking before we started on
air to Mansfield's supposed to move their opener to Friday night. They were originally supposed to
race Saturday, May 2nd, Saturday with Mother Nature didn't work out. So their makeup was
scheduled for Friday. So that's Ironman, late models and fast four 10 sprint cars with some
modifies. And then also on Saturday heart on the ultimate heart of America series is at
Montpelier Speedway for five grand to win for late models.
Yeah. And I think the Ironman goes to McSkeagum County, I believe in the fast sprint cars go to
atomic. Great Lake traditional sprints are at Hartford Speedway on Friday and Butler motor
Speedway on Saturday, which Butler got in with your neighbor, Archibald, Ohio's Max
Stamball taking the late model wind. Urban's late models, the sprint cars. Sprint car win.
No, there's late model guys in the crowd complaining there wasn't any late model races, but
yeah, but yes, Max Stamball took the win. Yes, we got some racing going on this week.
Hopefully Mother Nature plays nice, but yeah, hopefully a few of them can get in without any
issue. Yeah, knock on wood right now. Don't look too bad, but we'll see. Yeah, huge sprint car.
I think it'll be interesting because we already know who all comes to Attica and especially
Attica on Friday because, uh, you know, we're not sure or I don't know, but maybe it's been stated,
but you know, we know the outlaws going to race four shows, but they can race, you know,
Knoxville, Hewits and Williams Grove without one of their deals. So does that apply for Attica
on Thursday? And someone will have to use it if they want to race tomorrow, but I think Colmecedo
will. I hear Carson's in the area maybe for one of the shows, maybe Buddy for Thursday. So,
you know, we know they started at Attica and Fremont. So I think we're going to get a mix
of high limit guys and, uh, outlaw guys, maybe especially on Thursday, a few of them tomorrow.
If it's open on Thursday, I would think Sheldon would race it too. I would think
and maybe Garrett Williamson and Casey Jeterzak. I can't believe he won't try to race
somebody's car. If not the Bill Rose car, uh, I heard a rumor and maybe in another car. So we'll
see. Yeah. And that connection is dirt vision is a, you know, the, the track pay-per-view provider. So
outlaws have had that deal with, you know, word of outlaw approved tracks pretty much,
more or less any track they run at. Yeah. But it's not, it's only the day before an outlaw event,
not an open weekend or a midweek show, you know. Yeah. I don't know how Attica has worked since
it's a day before the outlaw event. Yeah. So I guess we'll see. But the capitane, well, I guess
capitane is a couple of days for the Knoxville. So yeah, it'll be interesting because I'm pretty
certain Attica didn't have, because I know Jeterzak was going to be in a car on a show that got ringed
out. Um, because Bill Rose car only runs outlaw shows, but I think I would not be surprised
if Casey uses one of his four on tomorrow in a car and then maybe a car on Thursday too.
Yeah. And we'll see. If you think about it, the, you know, the King's Royal weekend, those guys
run the high limit nights right before the outlaw nights. And yeah, counts as, you know, one of
their events, but we'll see. I guess I don't know for sure. Yeah. Yeah, it'll be interesting. I don't
know. Anything else to talk about? Oh, what you got? But we know Wright's little sunshine and
bacon is going to be there. Plus, you know, all of our locals and, you know, will it be any PA guys?
No, no. Yeah. Maybe. Yeah, we'll see. But I got nothing else on my list. Anything I'm missing
