We just have telepathic
Understanding the way are adding it from the podcast drinking Josh. Oh, yeah. Yeah
Which by the way, we want to say thank you so much for the support over the past couple weeks seeing the level of love and with coffee orders
We'll entire packages suspension intakes exhaust
We've gotten to see a much larger variety of things come through the website over the past couple weeks is sick
We obviously specialize in wheel and tire packages at the lowest price ship to your door
So all you got to do is throw them on but we help people modify their car
Which means other stuff too and includes exhausts down pipes intakes things like that
So with that being said if you need help with building your car or you're looking for a specific part
shoot us a message at martiniworks.com hand be or
Caruso be happy to help you. Yeah, because believe it or not. There's a lot of freaking parts out there
Yeah, it's kind of hard to get them all on the website all at once
Well, some of them are junkie so we don't want those ones that too
so it's like if you're looking for something specific and
You don't see it on the website. Just shoot us a message odds are we can get it
We are doing our best but when certain Japanese brands provide us their data in the form of the fucking facts
And not in English. It's it's tricky not even that far off. It's insane. It's not it's it's horrible
We actually had one where we we we went to translate it and we couldn't translate it
So then we tried to use some tools to translate it and that got us nowhere
And finally we got to a point where I actually just sent it to my friend in japan and asked him to translate
What the hell this sheet was supposed to be and uh, yeah, it's sometimes just how it goes it ended up saying wheels
Crazy enough. Yeah, this kid was weird. Dakota. Where are we starting off with?
We're starting off with you buddy. You just got back from the other side of the damn world
The land of kim chi in a spot. We've never been south korea north which one
South there's south korea. Okay. Let's set the record straight. Yeah. I spent a week out there in
Seoul, uh, which was which was very fun with genesis. We got to to try out the new
Genesis gv60 magma and what is that for us peasants?
It's genesis has a new line of like performance luxury vehicles that they're calling magma
Sick the gv60 is a kind of an all-electric suv that they have
The gv60 magma is like that taken to like the 10th degree. So it's it's a really cool car
We got to drive it in all sorts of different areas
Um, I got to drive to look at the road, but it's 600 and one horsepower
all will drive two motor
um, it's like this
super bright
Orange and lava looking magma and then I like that name
Black two toned and then it's got 21 inch forged wheels. Jesus 400 millimeter front brake rotors
God damn the stock wheels probably cost more in my fucking teas. They're huge. They're they're properly massive and I honestly have to say
Uh, obviously they they
Brought me out there, but it's a really good looking suv. Yeah, you were sending us photos. I was like dead
It looks like that's what like a performance ev should look like it doesn't look like it's trying to do hard
Yeah, like the front doesn't look
shitty
Yeah, you know which is contrary to popular belief a very hard thing to do with evs. It seems like apparently it's the hardest thing
Um, but no, it's really cool. Like it has it has grill intakes. It has like a three-hole snout. It has um, a really fun
Interior, it's got like plaid double stitched alcantara with orange stitching. What is a three-hole snout?
It's got like three like holes in the center like right underneath the emblem. They kind of give it like a
Like a like it like it has arrow. You know what I mean?
Like it has arrow to make it like push down on the front
So it's not what I'm trying to say is like when you look at an ev like a tesla the bumper is just plastic
It's just it's just flat. Yeah, this doesn't have that this has like a whole bunch of design and and grills and things like that
So the front looks
Like a normal
Ic e-car good and it looks sick. It's got factory canards that are functional
Oh, and it's an scv
So i'm really excited to see what the price is but we got to drive. I got to drive it around with uh parker
So you got to spend a bunch of time in it. Yeah, what what do you think the price is going to be?
And what do you think the price?
Should be oh, that's a good question
I said I said this to genesis is genesis face
That's multiple. Yeah, I don't know. Anyway, I said I said
Because of import fees and things like that, right?
This will make a very competitive
car
sub or suv sub 75
okay, this will make a
fun, but like
You really need to be a genesis fan if it's 85 and it's not competitive at all at 95 like that was kind of like the tear
That's a cut off. Yeah, but they said
I think in so they gave me the price in korean won and it came out to be
I want to say it was
62,000
No way. So in korean won it's 62,000 for a gv 60 magma
But then that obviously doesn't have a tariff right in any of it everything else. So I think it'll probably come in at like 74
That's really it's a lot of money
It is a lot of money. It's a lot of money
But with everything else that's been coming out lately. I'm I'm not mad at that price
Well, I was like I sat in the back and then I sat on the front
I drove it and then like this the silliest thing in the world is
Sometimes just having to admit
Maybe the gimmicks are a good thing. Sure, you know, I was driving around and has flappy paddles
Right and when you drive it in sprint mode or gt mode if you
Shift it wrong
Like you you shift it too low and you and you get on it. It'll actually bog down a little bit
It'll give it like a little bit of feedback that it's not you're not in the right gear
The same right right, but you're like
Oh, hey, you're an ev you should be able to do this in any gear
But the whole point is is that it's like this interaction when I test drove it
The entire time I didn't have it out of the flappy paddle gearbox mode. Sure. I never once turned it off
I constantly it felt good and it felt normal. It felt like I was driving
A normal it felt like I was driving honestly
Like I was driving a better version of a sports car that has an automatic with the with the flappy paddles
so
EV flappy paddle transmission better
Then actual ic e sports car flappy paddles when you described driving the z with the flappy paddles
This was leagues better than that. I would put it closer to experience. I wouldn't call it a pdk by any means, but like it
It's like it's fun. It's got a little blip. So when you go it's like
It's got like this one noise
Yeah, so it's got interior noise and exterior noise the gv60 maga has a speaker in the front and the rear external
Oh my gosh, okay. Does it sound it's like a noise? No, so
Not like a whirling. So the exterior the exterior's got a noise. I I don't think it's that it's got like a good wood
Yeah, I'm sure you could do that
The interior emulates a v6 with a 9 000 rpm red line
We should so that's you know take it however you want
I enjoyed I'll tell you what I did enjoy and I'll tell you two things. I liked and one thing
I did
The two things I really liked about it
It was the closest thing I've ever driven that was fully electric that had the right tendencies to feel like ice
Where I could get into it and it just felt
Normal, okay
The only other vehicle that gave me some level of that feeling way back when was the mach e
But the mach e felt really heavy because you could feel that it was an eva
All of the gv60 stuff is all intended to try and get rid of that as much as you can
But it's still the luxury performance. So it still has a ton of sound deadening
It still has a bunch of like luxury stuff. So you still feel the weight. You can't get you can't get rid of it
I don't care how many pinch welds they add you can still feel it
But I really enjoyed that I think the second big thing that I loved is the exterior is gorgeous
Like I don't care if new cars look different if new cars that are coming out are original and are authentic to itself
Like genesis made an ev suv that doesn't look like shit because it still has the two headlight stripes the two tail light stripes
It still looks like a genesis. Right, right, and I really enjoy that. Um, I think it looks super sick
I think the one thing that I I'm not a huge fan of with the new gv60 magma is
Um, I don't I don't think I'll ever quite get into like this huge crystallization of the center knob things
Crystallization so genesis has like a crystal ball that when you turn the car off it flips
For the the prindle selection. I'm looking at a photo right now. It's weird
Yeah, I'm not I can't get behind it because I just don't know how something like this is gonna age
Look at it. Let me see
What the fuck is there?
I'm not sure how I feel about that
Crystallization I didn't know where you were heading with that. I mean that was that was the last scribe
That was the last thing I expected
But volvo did it too like volvos volvos shift knob is like a solid piece of crystal and has like a volvo
Logo in it and it also looks equally like kind of out of place
It looks so out of place
Everything in this interior is like super sick black and like stitched and nice and dark
And then there's just this bright ass ball in the center council. He's magic ball. Can we go into drive? Yeah, please
It is uh, but yeah, I mean I I really enjoyed it the car from a production model from the concept
I mean I like the wing on it. Yeah, it's it's the wing is like very like 2000s tuner
Can we replace the crystal ball and get aftermarket like can I put like a fushigi ball in it?
Because I was thinking how like yeah, we got to figure out because we obviously we all love
You saw that you saw the bumper thing though, right that I was trying to explain like those three
Yeah slots like the whole lower challenger grill, you know like they didn't need to put that in there
But they did but they did could you imagine what this would look like without the grill without the grill?
I feel like it would look like a maki. Yeah. Yeah, it looked like just another evious. So I like it
Um, is it only coming in that color? It comes in a charcoal gray
I really like the magma name it makes me think of pokemon ruby and sapphire and then you had to fight against team magma
And they're they're bad. They're like that. I feel like it's a bad bad bad boy
Yeah, I didn't really like the name when I first introduced. No, I literally remember us talking about it on the podcast here
And I'm like that is the dumbest shit I ever heard but it's really grown on me. I like it and it's like they're doing
Properly cool shit with it. So like it just makes it that much better. Yeah, I we got to drive that
We went to the ulsan factory which
Um, was pretty interesting because I watched this huge video this tiktok
Did talking about byd factory and talking about how they have all this vertical integration and it allows them to make a car
Every I think he said minute. Holy shit. Holy shit. That's super cool. You want to hope as the ulsan factory can do it
9.6 seconds
Every 9.6 seconds a car is coming off the factory line at the ulsan factory
Where are they putting them why these things 70 grand they should be like five bucks. You ready for this? Yeah, so
The ulsan factory that's owned by hunday motor group is one the largest in the world of its kind number two. Yeah, it has its own
Fire truck its own hospital its own everything its own port and its own ships
So hunday owns the ships the the ro-ro ships
And so what happens is is they come off the line, right? They get inspected. They literally drive. I'm not kidding you
We saw they drive
250 feet to a pending dock lane where they wait
Then they green light it they notify everybody on the can they say all right. It's time to load and like 100 people come out of
Fuck-ass nowhere
Hop into these cars and they drive them like mad. I am I have never seen cars
In such a controlled tight area go as fast as they're going
And then they go and they turn and they're doing like a 90 degree turn onto the the ramp onto the ship and the ship ramp
Is a 115 ton
max
Like max weight limit on it, right
The whole thing is coming down and you're seeing like 50 cars go on at a time and they're screaming up into this boat
And then all of a sudden you see 100 people scurry off the boat and then another hundred cars go
I mean, I'm trying to imagine this. I really having trouble like it sounds absolutely insane. It sounds made up
But that's crazy
And they all the cars have to go in in a very specific order
Because the cars have to roll off in a very specific order in different countries for different orders. Oh my god
What sounds like a lot to keep? Yeah, that sounds like a lot to keep track of for how chaotic you just explained
But the craziest thing is is like the the the car rolls off the line
I don't know how long it spends maybe a couple days and it is immediately going on to the ship
For it to leave now these ships are huge, right? We're talking like 16 floors of cars
Whoa 16 floors of cars. They have I think they said 9800
Cars or so that can that that will safely fit in
and they will
disembark
One every other day
They own 180 of these
Ships that are going back and forth to different places. Yeah, holy christ
So they're loading up a ship and it's disembarking every other day
I can't fathom this. He is a looking
This is the craziest thing in the world. They're they're cooking over there
I watched I watched them put together a car and it just made me feel more
Emasculated about my own ability to like do the most basic
maintenance with a vehicle that they're like
Is that south korea's like number one export is vehicles? Yeah, yeah
Okay, wow that and kimchi probably
How was the kimchi? Yeah, what was the best and the worst food that you tried? I felt pretty I kind of felt like a bad
A bad traveler at the beginning of this trip
I had my own preconceptions on what I thought it was going to be and I was wrong
And I don't know why I ever thought I would have these own preconceptions of it. I've never been to south korea
I should have gone in with no
Concept and I kind of did but there was part of me that was like I wonder if it's like japan
That was like my thing
I was like I wonder how much of this is is like japan and I shouldn't have done that because then I started comparing
And south korean food is much different than japanese food
Oh, yeah, the kimchi is a huge thing over there, which is essentially like fermented vegetables and various types and shapes and cabbage and
Um
They I did have like these jalapeno kimchi pieces. I could have ate that stuff for that's all that's lunch and dinner
But it was different super good. I would say my favorite thing that I had there
I had authentic korean barbecue. Oh, um, they brought the coals out on like this like tray
And they just put it in there and you just eat that sounds fucking awesome
And we had a type of of meat that's only available in korea. It's like korean
Version of wagyu
steak beef. Okay. Yes, but it's not called that. It's called something called han
Why are you looking at me like that?
What kind of animals?
It's beef. Okay. It's cow. You're freaking me out a little bit. Is that what they said? Did I make something up?
You're just like, oh, it's only this meat that you can only allowed in this country
I was a little scared. What are they eating?
Korean barbecue
Alex is trying to make sure you didn't eat something crazy. Yeah. No, I did eat some crazy stuff
The one thing I didn't like uh, the one thing I didn't like eating there was
I'm I'm still a softy with animals. Right. Uh, and they have this
Ah hanwoo hanwoo korean beef. That sounds good. Give me some. That sounds great. Um
I'm still a softy at heart and we went down to the street venue or street eatery and and the big thing there is
Fresh, you know, like freshers better, you know, they had these fresh baby octopus
And these little bags and they were alive
And then the 90 year old grandma made them unalive and then they put them on a plate and they still move when they're dead
Yeah, and so it's a constant reminder of did you eat that? I tried it. No way. Yeah, I tried a small piece
Um, but it was already dead. No, right. I know I'm not I'm not guilt. You're already dead. That's that's intense
I don't know if I would try that. I did. I've had octopus, but not that fresh
Um parker did too and and he said it was an interesting feeling. I I don't know. I didn't like that part. Um, but that's just a cultural
That's yeah, there's just a cultural difference, you know, we don't have octopi in wisconsin really
I wouldn't mind if it was I wouldn't mind
If it was in a better environment, you know, if they were hanging out in a kiddie pool having fun
And then like old grandma old gma just pulled one out and just
But that's not the the situation that they were living in prior to
The dismemberment. I know what you mean. We saw some of that in japan, too
Yeah, yeah, it's it's I think for and this is obviously not car related
But if you guys and gals are learning to travel one of the things that you really have to
Prepare yourself for if you go to travel as a traveler and not a tourist
Which is like a big anthony bordain thing, but like if you go as a traveler you really have to
Put aside as much as you can until you're until you don't want to like
Animals and people and things are just treated differently in different places and in america for the most part
I would argue a lot of of how we treat animals in america is
Way different than than other places. Well, good news is you got some kim chi
Kim she was banging
You know, there's a big study on that apparently that cleans your body micro plastics
Does it really cabbage and everything? Yeah, I know kim chi is really good for your gut
Yeah, that's yeah, apparently it like
Is there was like a huge study of like all the micro plastic talk of like kim chi is like it'll
It'll scoop it all up out of there
There was there was a really fun dish that we had I'll have to look it up
Where you get served this really hot bowl of rice
And each one each person gets their own rice
And then you take the rice out using you know a rice spoon
You put it onto another plate and then you take a teapot of water
And you pour the hot water into the bowl where the leftover rice is and then you put the cover back on
Then you take your meat and you make like your food and you can do it with like a lettuce roll
And you can kind of have that you can do with kim chi essentially like it's a
Meat and rice dish
But then when you're done with your main meal you go back to the bowl that the rice came in
You take a spoon and you scrape
The rice off the bowl and then you take all of that you can either eat it or you can drink it
Or you can make it part of a stew and then you put meat into that and you kind of have like a
Like a beef stew with rice interesting and I thought it was really interesting because it was it was actually really good
But it was almost like having two meals. Yeah, it's like oh now the other part of the other
And uh, I found that very very interesting. Yeah, so it was it was a good time had a blast
I was like the the city
Good big one of the things that really messed me up was
Like japan trains everywhere trains fucking everywhere. You can't turn a corner without you can't you can hear trains
Everywhere
I was in korea and I I saw maybe two really the whole time. Oh, yeah, like everything is underground
And not just like a floor underground
Like 10 floors down in there like 15 floors. I went I think I was 7 7 f
Basement I was walking around
And I like turn a corner. I'm like, what does that smell? It smells nice turn a corner. There's a full solar forest park
Just in this corner of one of the the sole like transit stations
There's like trees and and bushes and greenery and it smells nice and a little fountain and I'm like
I don't feel like I'm seven
Stories underground. Yeah, that's right. It was it was absolutely wild. Well, definitely worth going to
um, we I spent a lot of time doing I did my old man thing where I went to the
the
Kind of like the heritage museum
So I spent three and a half hours and read every single thing about korean heritage
Which my wife would kill me for then I went and walked around the parks and then I think that's cool
Yeah, did some shopping. Nice. Yeah. Yep. Oh, I forgot to bring chris or her gift
And then I did a lot of skincare buying at olive young. Okay, olive. Yeah, you look glowing. Thank you
There's a hundred dollars. I'm pretty sure it was like a thousand dollars worth of stuff
Yeah, shout out to annam and amanda for helping me buy stuff because I don't know what to buy
Because I just never bought that. Yeah, right. I wouldn't
Yeah, so I picked up all my stuff and I picked it up 100% via packaging
You know what just looked the coolest and then annam who was she's part of genesis hq. She looked she's like, oh, okay
You got cleanser. Okay. Good. Good. Okay. You got another cleanser
Okay, why did you okay? It's all cleanser. She's like, why do you have six cleansers?
I'm like, I don't know. Do I get other stuff? She's like, yes, you need toner
You need you need uh, uh this and of that. I'm like, I need your help
I need your help. So I was very very thankful and we got some face masks too
Very nice. That's it. That's the whole trip worth it
Yes, long trip
Airports really cool. Okay
The one in soul. It's always nice when there's a good airport. Yeah, good airports are underrated. Yeah, I can make or change a trip
Well, we're shouting people out real quick. I want to give a shout out to beard resells
Uh, very random person that I still don't know who it is, but they're in canada
They reached out to me and they said, hey, I don't really know a ton about cars
But uh, I seen your car and I resell vintage shirts
And you just need to have this so I'm gonna send it to you and he sent me this harlequin
And it even has
Hella green tails. Yeah, and there's some lore to this shirt. I don't know what it is. I tried to do research
I tried to find like another one for sailors. I can't so if anyone knows let me know. I just thought that was really cool
I really like uh the community
Caller me red and it's spelt calor. Yeah, and it must be euro. That's how you know it's not from america. Which is interesting though because it's a golf
I didn't do the polo
But I don't know regardless uh speaking of which we went to elderly euro this weekend, uh, which is a euro show here in
Wisconsin
It's like right in our backyard nina, which isn't far from the shop at all and uh, man, we seen some crazy shit it always
always
Comes with some great builds and utterly euro some stuff
You're not used to seeing and uh, you guys will be seeing content. Maybe by the time this comes out
You'll already have seen some of the content from that
But it was a good time. It was good to get out to a show. That's right
Like you said, it's like right in our backyard and dude. Yeah, some of the caliber of builds and stuff that's there
It's just
blows me away that
We have any of that even remotely close to where we live. So yeah, it's it's pretty European car culture is insane
It's on the next level. It is so nice when something's in your backyard, too
Oh, yeah, you can go to the meet and then drive home like 10 minutes and you're just back
You california folk. You got a you got it going on. You got like shit every 12 fucking feet in wisconsin to have like a
Good show. It's it's insane. It's a rarity when I was 18
I was driving two hours to a show like I felt like every weekend. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah cars and coffee. It's in minnesota
Yeah, also sick. It was hilarious
Uh, the euro show how many cars were just leaking coolant or oil
It was almost it's like a joke that wrote itself. It was stereotypical. It was it was 100% the most stereotypical
You'd walk you just see cool fucking running down the road
Yeah, it was that the exit line like people would pull out you literally just see
Oil trails coming from every single
I'm like, dude, this is insane could not make it up could not make it up
But it was a really good showing really good caliber vehicles there, too
But we do want to say a huge shout out as well to motegi racing wheels for being a partner of the martini works podcast

All right, so what do we got going on for the second segment of today's podcast dakota
Yeah, I want to talk a little bit about being a car enthusiast in your 30s versus your 20s. What's that like?
I'm 26 still. That's not true at all. Yes, it is
I think you're the closest to 40 out of all of us. No, I'm not prove it
I think you're older than me barely. No, I think so. Gels the youngest though. Yeah, I'm baby
Gels is still in his 30s. Gels is 23
Yep, that's right. Where are you stuck in the past?
I don't know. I think it's interesting because it's like I'm so excited to watch avengers end game
I feel like there's this weird in-between stage for a car enthusiast because like I feel like
At like car meets and shows it's either like really young guys and gals or really old
But we're in the in-between. Yeah, you reach a point where like if you
You reach a point in your 30s where if you show up with kind of a piece of shit like people look at you like dude
That guy's washed up
Like you better show up with some some either either a car that has money or style like you you kind of have to know
No, it's in good shape or just in good. Yeah, like yeah, it's got to be something good, you know
So yeah, I think that
My my tasting cars has definitely shifted
At least like internally over the past a couple years say a little because you're still driving the same car you had when you're 19
That's to keep me young
I would say if I didn't
If I didn't do content, you know, and we didn't you know try building cars and racing cars
Like I do feel like this garage would look a little different like I do love the r34
The s15 kind of fell in our lap the arc say definitely
Literally just showed up that got put in your pocket. Yeah, and then the s2000 was kind of a
hopeful dream
Um, but like still is still is but like I would say it would probably have more
There probably be more shooting brake cars in here
I would I would probably go go that way. I probably go more wagons. I probably have more like weird funky wagons
I definitely I've tried everything in my power to convince my wife
Um to to allow us to get a like a Volvo wagon. Oh, yeah, she just she just says no
I like okay, but
How did you like to modify cars in your 20s?
What was your style then would you say and then let's compare that to now and see if anything has changed
I don't that's a really good question because
when I think about it
Everything I liked when I was young was always like the one off of the popular thing
So instead of getting the b5 s4. I got the c5 a6
Um, well, everybody was buying 350 z's. I got a 280 z
um
When people were going big into
The e92 I got an e55 amg. So like I always tried to get like the thing that was just like slightly off
Like same recipe. Yeah a little just a little off meta
I think was the the term like when I played runescape. I always did off meta builds
I just try to mix it up. You know, yeah
Didn't always work the obby mall pure did not always cultivate the best pvp, but when it worked
That shit slapped. I get it and I would say now is
Probably a little bit of the same
Not not all the cars in in the sea, but the Datsun's kind of like that and you know the our goal with the rx8 is
It's kind of a niche niche car
um
I shouldn't say it like that, but it is it is a more niche car and then back and I like we want to get the
The sport turismo because it's a shooting brake wagon and then my dream car is a Ferrari ff
So hopefully we'll have one of those at some point. So yeah, I would say I don't know more functional
But still funky. I think yeah, that is like when I look at my function
Functional is like the biggest thing it's like if I'm if I'm gonna go take the car out somewhere
Or just having like something built for like a specific purpose and not trying to do it all
um
I look back at like when I first started getting into modifying cars
It was so scatterbrained of like what was done and what went on it and what order it went on just because like
I didn't know better and uh, I think you know, it's been the last 15 years of just learning
What that process is and like what actually is good and isn't good and learning from people and talking with people and
Getting inspired from other builds and things like that. So I mean
Yeah, I look back at like my neon and like my eclipse back in the day
It's like Jesus christ, but it's like a time like it made sense
Um, and then I think I went to you know, I went to the frs and I was like, okay
I did all the ebay parts the cheapest shit I could get
I finally had a career set in
Uh, I was finished with college bought the frs. I'm like, I'm gonna I'm gonna make sure that
This part this time it's gonna get the good shit
And so like, you know, I bought like the gretti parts and I bought the n-keys and I bought like proper coilovers and
and went that route
Kind of went back to the craziness with the rx-a for a little bit, but then I got it refined
Uh, you know kind of did like a v2 version of it now
it's like
I want I I'm like I craved that like nostalgia a bit again
You know, it's like I went and got like the new stuff tried that out for a bit and it's like
I really I really find that I like the older stuff. So it's like that's why I went and
Um, tried to find a an old rx-7 and I did and dude like that thing in its stock form right now is just a freaking hoot
Um, so it's like, you know looking at what I'm gonna do with that. It's
keeping things
Functional but like just quality solid stuff keeping it like kind of like period correct of like what's gonna go on with it
And I think I look at where
How my my taste in style has changed for my 20s my 30s like it makes sense with with everything
It's like I feel like in your 20s
You're like so go and your 30s you kind of like take that stuff up a little bit and be like, okay
Well, what what am I really doing this for?
And it's like that kind of transfers over into like how you work and build on cars
It's like, okay. Well, what am I really buying this part for?
Yeah, what am I, you know, what is my goal of get out of it?
It's like do I need it right now?
Or should I actually save up or try to find the really like rare version of that or try to find like, you know the better version of it
Um, because there's no rush. It goes from like
Look at me
To look at that. Yes. I feel like yes
That's a good way to when you start growing up in the car scene where it's like when you're younger
You want everybody to look at you and whether you want to admit it or not is entirely up to you
But you do. Yeah, you're boy. You got the testosterone. car. It's what you want to do
Um, and so some people do that by taking out loans against their FAFSA and buying a BMW and other people decide to throw a
ginormous wing on on the back of their car and ankle cutters, you know, it's it's different for everyone
Um, but I think you reach a point where you're like
Nah, like I'm gonna I want this one for me and I want people to just be able to like look at that
Like look at that rx7. Like that is sick. You know, look at I think you nailed it with that
Look at the harlequin. Like it's not a look at me more than it is. Like look at this thing. It's so interesting and and you you kind of like, uh
You embody what the car makes you feel versus maybe when you're younger you try to make the car
Exclusively representative of who you are. I don't know. I don't know
It goes from like a selfish thing to a selfless thing for sure
For me, I would say in my my 20s the big thing I wanted to do is I was never super brand loyal by any means
And I wanted to experience as many platforms as possible
I went from ford to chevy mitzvah bishi to subaru and everything in between trucks and to cars to wagons to all of that
And I think as I hit my 30s, I finally got to the point where it was like
I'm still going to try different stuff
But I know what I'm getting myself into and I know the brands that I've enjoyed out of like experimenting
So sticking with toyota sticking with volks wagon
Um, I went back to those brands because looking back at my memories. That was some of like the best memories and stuff
There are certain things about those vehicles that I enjoyed and I like about that brand
Um, so I think I mean similar to both of what you guys were saying, but just really like I feel like I got to dial
Dial it in where I was kind of shocked and blasting trying to figure it out trying different
Modifications and pairing this stuff which made for cool stuff. Like my focus st
It was like I kind of combined like track and show
Um, like doing a bunch of aero, but begging it and putting on multi piece wheels and stuff like that
But that was also like the style then too. Like, you know, you look back at like, you know, like the mid 2010s
Like that's that's where it was every build was like kind of going that route. Um, so I think it really does depend on
Where how old you are at the time and like what year it was to that's a yeah
Obviously huge influence on that too. It's like, you know, you look at
The the teenagers and like, you know, people getting into their early 20s today and like the impact that social media has made
In the car scene and you know, how that affects
The way the cars are built and the mods that are done and the way that they're gone about
Um, you know, that's I think a little bit different from even when we were getting into it
I think that's why it's such a buzzkill sometimes to see people try to start at the top so quickly
Uh in cars, you know, I give a lot of shit to like g80 owners, but
It's it is very much a car where it's like you start at this level of performance and
quality and
And this and that in and so you start like
God damn towards the top of the hill already as like your first or second car and it's like
Where do you go from there? Like everything you get after the fact is gonna kind of be shittier or kind of be slower or kind of be
Kind of be not as good
But do you think like in in five to ten years though?
Like that that will be kind of like the new meta of like oh well
I don't want the brand new thing. It's like I I got the taste for that now
Now I want to try, you know, it's kind of in reverse. It's like I want to go get the old car
It's like I want to get the the thing that I actually have to like
Open up and build to like do like get crazy power or something like that
I think so I've already seen it a little bit on some of the like what I see on the internet is some people picking up older cars
But I think most of the time, you know people are into cars for like two reasons
They either love the fact that cars are a thing you can like interact with and drive and enjoy and race and
Or they like the the result of owning said thing
They like the attention and I think if it's the latter of the two like those people don't last and so I think a lot of
And like a tension in the automotive scene right now is really built towards the latter
It's like built towards if you have like the newest brightest flashiest thing and you're doing the craziest loudest quickest thing
Then you get the most attention and so people constantly, you know, strive for that
I watch a dude that has a brand new m
literally do a burnout and and whip tail in it and absolutely
destroy the rear end of his car
And then proceeded to make like six shorts about it
Talking about how how it wasn't him and the tires were cold and he's gonna get it fixed and he doesn't really care
And he really likes the car and it's like
When have we gotten to a point where it's like we're okay with people literally destroying shit
And then like blaming everything else but themselves
Here's here's the difference if they would have done that
in
let's say
a fucking
Like a 350 z or if they would have done that in a fucking
I can't a crown vic of all, you know, like something goofy to like fuck around with when you are, you know
Crazy shit like that and learning that hey when you whip a car like that
It's gonna actually roll back before it hooks up versus, you know hundreds and hundreds of horsepower brand new
Yeah, $70 $80 billion BMW
You know, there's a there's a learning curve there because I did dumb shit with
Oh, yeah, and a clips back in the day that like you should glad I did it with those cars
Versus like things that I've had since and also maybe not filmed it. Yeah, maybe that go go on the back road and try that
Shit. Yeah, be dumb. Don't
Do it in front of a ton of people for your first time. Yeah
I don't know. I think there is like a there's learning opportunities there that make more sense
That could be the thing that I've learned the most from from 20s to 30s. It's just like
that that idea of you try not to
You don't want to come off as
Like not gay keep you don't want to come off as like don't do this. Don't do that. Don't do this. Don't do that
But at the same time you're like, man, I really wish we weren't going in that general direction of
things
You know, like I love seeing people
Go to the track and and learn how to drive on the track and that's a super fun experience
And that is is such a humbling thing
And then you watch people that have taken kind of the ladder of that and they've decided
I'm going to go to the track to make content and to go viral and to prove I'm a really good driver
And then they crash or they treat an hpde day as like a as a wheel-to-wheel racing and they curse people out for
For driving their car on the track and it's like that's like not the right
Way to look at it. It's it's it's not the right way to enjoy a car
Otherwise, you're just like you're building it for the wrong reasons. My opinion
My opinion
Dakota, what have you learned?
um
I've learned that you don't like a single color
social media
Can like dictate a build really quickly. Um, and I think it's a lot better to pull inspiration
From going to
Meets and car shows and traveling than it is
Watching your favorite youtuber and I don't mean that in a bad way towards any content creator whatsoever
I think you know the big automotive youtubers are killing it and I think they build gorgeous vehicles
And that's part of the reason they are big the problem with it is though is you have a million people or
200,000 people watching that influencer or creator
And now they all have the same idea for the build and what they want to do with their car
Uh, and then suddenly now you have a lot of cookie cutter and similar builds happening
And that's where you see these trends and styles
I've had a lot of fun when we like traveled and have gone to japan or gone to germany or even to tennessee
And we go to these shows where people are coming together from all over the world
I've met multiple people now that had some of the most jaw-dropping builds. I've ever seen they don't have social media
Yeah, and um
I've seen such cool and unique ideas from people
That just don't consume content or are just chilling in their garage and that's how they they work on their car
They're not looking for outside influence and I think that's where a lot of like the creativity and stuff spawns from so
I would say like for your next body. You don't always have to
Like google it
You also can go out to your local meets go to cars and coffee
Go for a cruise maybe travel and while you're traveling look at stuff while you're out and about and get pull inspiration from that
Uh, and I think that's a a really fun way to mod your car too is to pull different inspirations
And maybe it's not even in the car scene. Maybe you figure out a mod
That isn't even related to the car scene at all
And that that can be just a really cool way. I've had fun
Piecing together like nostalgic pieces
I want my car to be a place where I get in it and I'm happy and I like the things I'm surrounded by
So I think if you can
Do that and try to listen to less of the comments like I recently posted a piece of content
About doing the wing is just the biggest controversy right now
If I should have painted it yellow or pistachio green and I would say majority of people
Did not like what I did with it. Yeah, and I'm okay with it
Actually, I'm I'm not saying this to be a dickhead or be fucking conceded
I actually like that because it's like good. I'm not doing like what the internet want
I wanted to do what I liked and what I thought about your reasoning made sense. Yeah reasoning made sense
It was like it wasn't random because what did you say it was it was the front fender
The front grille and then the fender on the opposite side all had a connecting color and that color was yellow
Right and then on the back you had the same thing, but it was the pistachio green
So you chose to mirror the front to the rear
So it was green on the back and then yellow on the front and people didn't like that you
Matched it the green right there's too much green and that's fine
Because I had the same thoughts when I originally did it
I rendered it out in yellow and I just didn't it brought too much attention to the part
It made me feel like when you looked at the car you only saw like that part sticking out where I wanted to be cohesive and
Flow and I get that the harlequin is blocky colors
But that doesn't mean that there isn't method to it and it's not symmetrical and it had designed to it
So how I perceived it with my own two eyes and how I thought about the car was painting it that way plus two
It's a pistachio green base harlequin, which i'm proud of I like that
We didn't get pistachio green
Golfs in the united states so the fact that I have one essentially that got different panels from another golf
That's fucking cool to me
I want to have more pistachio green on it because that is such a unique color to us
You can't get anything with that color
Uh, so I like that so that's why I did it and when I started seeing the comments from I was getting pissed at first
I was like dude like these people there's not even thinking about it and it's like
Exactly they're nothing they're doing their first thought they haven't walked around the car. They don't own the car
They don't see it every day. They're doing their first thought. It's like. Oh, it should be opposite
It should stick out and um and as soon as they get two other people to agree with them
Well, that's the right or yeah, they scroll they read the first comment
Oh, it should be yellow now. That's their thought process and they're like, yep. Oh, they're right
There's definitely a chasing opinion on the internet where if somebody makes the one smart ass remark
Uh, everybody will follow it not trying to distract from car talk, but I saw this just the other day where um,
The new super girl movie came out. Okay, and there's a bunch of controversy about
The song that plays at the end this like end song, right? So it's it's it's an end song
That's what it is. Yeah, and it's a montage song and whatever and people are getting really upset
But they're not calling it like end song. They're not calling it like montage song. They're calling it needle drop
And this is the first time like across pretty much any major publication of content on tiktok
Where almost every single person that has reviewed this point of content
Which almost looks like there's somebody behind it orchestrating this huge push
Have called it a needle drop and so now
Everyone is referring to every song that's interacted in every movie ever
As a needle drop. It's the new buzzword. buzzword and people like well
No, I mean if you if you watch cinema like I do we've always referred to it as a needle drop
It's the same person that has said they've always used m dashes before chat you be
We know you're lying. You're lying. We know you're lying. You know you're lying
But you're right
It's like when the first thing comes up as a comment that people can say like
Well, I don't want to agree with the poster because that means that I I rip I align with the big guy
They they pick the very first thing that a commenter picks and they go along with it forever and ever and ever
Yeah, the first three comments on a post can dictate the how the entire post goes for the rest of it
And I would love to see a social experiment
That if you could have the same video go up and you post three positive comments
So you post three negative comments on each you could watch those comments
That should be completely different and the perception of the video be completely because like I hate to see but
People are sheep, dude. They they see it
They see a thought and they let that thought be theirs
Immediately and then they run with it that that is fact that is true
That is how it should be and it's and it's just thinking for yourself
It's it's tough though because that's how like it's all created and designed to be so it's like I understand why it happens
I catch myself doing it sometimes and it's like fuck. No, I don't actually
Think that like maybe a a show or a movie comes out and it has bad reviews
You're and you go into it and how you're like, oh, yeah, this show is shit. I totally get it too
But that's what I do. I like avoid like any sort of that type of stuff before I even see it
Like I don't want to go into something and have like a weird like mentality for it already like and the thing was too like with
Painting the wing on my car. I was open to and I still think yellow could be an option and it would look good
but I was happy about it because it was like
It was almost like a breath of fresh air like yes, okay
I'm doing it different because what you realize too with the harlequins
It's such a unique and weird car to modify everything you do feels slightly off or wrong about it
But because of that everyone kind of mods them the same too. So all of them have the same mods. They do like the same wheels
They do the
momo bonneton
Steering wheel that's all colored and then everyone does the black horse industry shift now and like
Certain things all start to be the same because that's just the unique parts that go with them
So to do something and then do it differently than how most would perceive it made me happy because it's like good
You wouldn't do it that way. Good. I don't want you to I want to do it the way I want to do it
It's okay to not do it exactly the same. There's no rule book
Yeah, so that that's my advice is like don't let social media dictate your build if or even your friends or anything
You know just if you have a vision for if you have reasoning for something in your mind
It makes sense and it's cohesive. I say 100% go for it and do it and that's what I've learned
And if you mess it up you learn that's like the coolest thing the the one thing that again going back to the g80 talk
Because I'm just on a fucking run about this
It's like you can't make that mistake when you spend $90,000 on your first or second fucking
Exactly, you can't exactly you can't you because you can never give yourself the chance the reason
That all these g80 g80 owners cope with buying alibaba wheels and alibaba this and alibaba that
Is because they can't afford to buy the real thing
So then they buy what they can but it's a it's a chance in and of itself
But they don't want to admit that they want to start at the beginning
They want to start at the top
They want to start as close to the top as they can they buy the fake te's or the fake bbs's
And then they get the g80 and the green with the with the brown interior
And then they do all this stuff because they never want to be perceived as ever making a mistake
And if they ever get called out they chant well, you're you don't even you're a sheep
You don't even know what you're talking about it's like no like you can't cut corners in the learning of
Of finding your own style and finding your own taste the same thing on things outside of the car world like
You go to design your your first living room in in your college apartment
It gonna look like shit no matter what you do
You're gonna look back at it in two years and you're gonna be like that was the ugliest thing
I could have ever done in my entire life
But that's what teaches you for when you buy your first house
And then when you buy your second house and your third house and you start doing these things where it's like
You build upon your own
taste
When you try to skip the whole thing and you just go to the what you get the bbs's because that's what goes on the g80s
And you skip everything in between
You you you miss all the like little learning points
That maybe the conics taught you or the the teddy bears or the shift knob to all these little things that you're like man
I'm never doing that again. That was a shitty ass decision. You know, it's like I have so many of those when I was a kid that when I
Cut a hole in the hood of the the Datsun to fit a big old intake cowl. I look back at that. I'm like jesus christ
I
Thinking but that back then I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. You know, yeah, it's I think it's important
To have those fuck ups are like early on or even like every now and then but it's like it like you said it hits different
When it's on a $5,000 car versus a $90,000
Because if you fuck up your $90,000 car
You're gonna get a lot
Of shit for it
And you have to like you were going to stand by the fact like oh no what I did was right because I don't want to seem like a fucking idiot
If you do that out of $5,000 car people like
Yeah, that sucks, but yeah, it wasn't you know that bad
I'm glad that your all-black car now has lime green brakes. It's a cannon moment
I'm excited for you when I when I tried to placid it my stock
Eclipse wheels with lime green placid it but negative 10 degrees in my garage. Yep. That was a learning moment
We need learning moments that stuck with for a long time. I still think there's over spray on the floor in the garage
We do want to say thank you to continental for being a part of the martini works podcast as well
They've been with us for a very very long time and they make some absolutely incredible tires the dwso6 and the ecso2 are two
Ultra incredible options for you and if you're looking for something that's a little bit more budget
We've actually seen a lot of people also switch over to the general gmax rs and the general gmax
The aso7 both all summer or ultra high performance summer tires great choices
Whether you're choosing continental or general
But the good thing about them both is that they're in stock. They have fantastic pricing
They both have warranties and they come in a plethora of sizes. I talked about this last time
But uh, my wife had the joys of taking two tires out at a roundabout and I happily was able to replace them
With 255 45 r 21 continental dwso6 plus is
Which is insane tire size
Um, and so i'm very very thankful for continental for being a partner in the martini works podcast
They care a lot about what they make which means we care about that partnership
So thank you guys and if you're looking to get a set of tires you can head over to martiniworks.com
And hand it over to continental type
Started her off final round show me what you got for the build threads
I got a really cool. And so this one actually uh came in kind of recently. We have a 1999
Mazda rx7 type rs
Oh
Initial jb. This is his
damn
99 maza rx7. So the story here is absolutely incredible. It is a long story, but that's exactly what I love seeing come in
Uh, it if you guys
Want a good little read about this car. I definitely recommend going and checking this one out, but essentially
dsm evil guy starting off always wanted the fd figured they're not getting any cheaper
Might as well as just scoop one now
Felt get I got it, you know
Um
Was a set obsessed with initial d. So originally I was looking for a yellow one wanted to do the whole r e
Amaya stuff to it. Uh,
Memia me. Yeah, sorry
Came across this 99 type rs
Which was the last one sold in japan or last generation of the fd sold in japan was clearly tracked prepped had a bunch of
Suspension upgrades and bracing everywhere had a rebuild the engine brought it over
Essentially had to kind of re go through it a little bit ran into some issues with some things
But turn into this
Awesome awesome build. Uh, and it has been quite the trip with this car, but it has
So much done to it. We're talking
Original cr kais. So 17 inch cr kais, which is pretty neat
Handcooked tires hks suspension a bunch of gretty stuff
Haltech boost controller. We got a bunch of radium parts
am
Gretty gretty gretty gretty just it's it's an entire list like this is like this guy's gotta be
Huge list. It's gotta be like the biggest
Like build thread list. I think that we've seen come in and uh, yeah, this car is freaking gorgeous
This is a gorgeous car white rx sevens, dude are they hit different?
Let me get some prints of these photos dude. The first like three photos are
Incredible. What mountain is that? Is that like Mount Rainier?
Is that an Oregon plate?
I don't know. I think so. If it's an Oregon plane, I think that's Mount Rainier
Oregon or Washington
Either way
Gorgeous
It's
No, this is uh arc sevens and carbon fiber go together just like
French fries and arrow. They they look so good. I always fuck that up. Yeah. I only I only
As the guy I need to know that
Well, the only reason I know is because I did a video in front of the president of aria memia and I said it wrong
Like three years ago. Oh, that'll do it
And then he told you to say it right and he told the the person that was next to me to tell me
That how it's pronounced because it's like his name. Yeah, I was like, well, I didn't know I kept asking
And he's like, it's Ari. I'm memia. I've heard it pronounced in different ways
It's like like the whole moogan thing. So you gotta have the guy that made the whole thing come out and just be like
This is how you say it. Oh good. I need that for like unless they're wrong like the gift guy because it's not gif
No, it's good. It's gif. Yeah, I agree with gif gorgeous car
Absolutely spectacular of the cr chi is great great look on it. The arrow sick colorway is awesome stock body sill which I
Honestly appreciate
Absolutely gorgeous. Yeah, go check out this building if you haven't submitted your car yet
Do it top three cars that look better stock body than wide body number one dots in 240z number two
fd rx7
number three
Honda s2000
I don't I I agree with that honestly. Yeah, sorry
I might be biased because I think I own two of the three cars dude
It really depends on the kit though because some look really good
But some they're just I have yet to see a kit and I stand on business with this and if you're a supplier
You can get mad at me if you want. I have yet to ever
ever
receive install
prep
inspect
visualize or
otherwise paint
A body kit that was not in fact a giant pain in the ass ever in my entire life
I've never had something where it's been like man. That was so
Easy and painless and simple and the bolts line right up and the headlights fit perfectly and
Everything cleared nicely. No every time it's like, well, you know, the mold is old and like yeah, but I still spent nine grand on it
Yeah, give me the old price or something
Yeah, I've been I've been seeing a bunch of like reels and tiktoks and stuff about like like the origin lab stuff, dude
It's like how you hear this switch up and dude it is crazy
Yeah, switch up happens like a week if you're not running origin lab like you're not, you know
You're not real
Yeah, it's like now you go from running like those to like you're talking thousands and thousands of dollars like bn sports
and like
Kbd is it kbd and origin lab and the last like two weeks have gotten like the most kbd's always been like
Yeah, but now people talk a mega shit about it. Yeah, they've always have but honestly
I ran a kbd bumper on my 240 that thing has been through hell and back like for someone who just needs something to like
Take an absolute fucking thrashing of a beating
Yeah, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg and honestly
I've had my kbd bumper fit better than my origin bumper because it
Can flex like enough to get where it needs to be
uh, I mean
I get like the whole because it is kind of like the whole like rep wheel debate kind of thing
But it's like
You kind of getting thrown into like the body kit realm of like oh well who had that design first and who gets to keep
Doing that design kind of thing. I mean, I don't know it
That's that's a whole another realm. I I had good experience with my kbd stuff
I will say I think uh, when I got the apr s2 gt wide body kit for the s2000. I remember I was working with apr
Yeah, um great guys good folks
Actually, nothing nothing bad to say about them
But I remember actually dealing with one of the or you're talking with one of the the reps there
And I remember he was just like straight up honest with me. He's like, okay, Alex. I'm gonna be real honest with you
He's like we don't sell a lot of these kits
Yeah, okay, and this is a kit that was specifically meant for
Like certification into certain racing series so that you could run a 285 series sire
He goes, but we do not sell a lot of these which means they've sat for a long time
It's a nice way of saying you're fucked. Yeah, and he's like so you might have some
You might have to deal with some fitment issues. Did you? Oh, yeah
I remember I remember we were put that on we're like is this for the right fucking car
one thing I did realize though is um
The biggest tip I learned actually putting together s2k, which helped us with so many other car builds afterwards
Was how much heat helps with some of that stuff?
Like the front bumper of the z that's carbon fiber that didn't fit very well
And then you just had to heat it to piss so then it fit just fine. Yeah heat does a lot for those things
Have you guys had uh experience with like some like body kit parts that have actually fit well though?
Or has it all been
Not great. Let me think really hard. Yeah, I I definitely have I've had good ones
I remember like my fly one lip that I had on my super. Oh, yeah, that was just like fucking suction cup fit
I almost I ran next to no adhesive
On that thing which was insane the adro the adro stuff fit good on the m4. Yep. Yep. That's right
Again, but that I mean, I guess I don't know yours was like but like that was brand new
That was like a brand new right, you know, a lot of times people are buying
Uh part 165 out of mold set one and that's the problem. Yes, that stuff gets older
I wonder hopefully the quality will keep up
But there's definitely some yeah, like I've had some good luck with some carbon fiber pieces and stuff like that too
But I've been on both sides of it. I've had it's so tricky. It's like too dude. I remember I bought um
I bought that carbon trunk for my frs. It was a vis racing carbon trunk and had like the molded in like yuck bill
Stuff I absolutely loved it. But dude. Yeah, it was like the one side like just sat like a little bit closer
um, I had to
Dremel the absolute
Fuck out of the where the license plate lights went because it was just like here's a spot
Yeah, and it was not nearly the size that it should have been
Uh for those license plate lights. So I'm out there
This freaking thousand dollar carbon trunk that I bought just absolutely shitting bricks as I'm taking a dremel to it
Um, there was like like where the the frs has had like that little trunk garnish
It's like the little where the emblem goes
Um, like that wouldn't fit properly. It was just like some weird shit
And I'm like, dude, I paid a thousand fucking dollars for this trunk
And I'm like having to like redrill holes and do all this shit. I'm like, this is crazy. Sometimes I've
Uh, bought an apart looked at it and said this isn't gonna work and I just never installed
He's done that before yeah
And as much as I've wanted to say that like I never made that mistake
But I make that mistake all the time. There's some stuff that came with the z when I bought it
Um from like z part store and and and things like that that I look at I'm like
also now also we need to
You're spending all the time right to design and I'm not saying like newer companies aren't doing this, but like
You're designing like side side skirts are like the biggest pain in the ass always all the time
Because they don't utilize any sort of oem mounting. No, they never do. They're always just like good luck
Figure it out. Yeah, there's no instructions. No
So you tell me you you set all this time to design the side skirts design the body kit
To make it fit the car built the mold did all this stuff did all the marketing for it put it out there
but you couldn't take
A couple extra hours of r&d to be like hey, can we just whip up a quick bracket for this that maybe goes to
A spot on the car so they don't have to just figure it out
Right, come on dude. It was the thing with the the liberty walk eventador kit that I remember we installed a few years back
It was it was a $70,000 kit that took $40,000 of labor pretty much to get it all done because
Every single time we put the kit on and we would test it and we'd flex it
You know on itself
It would find a new weak point or like we wonder if there's a bracket
Nope
So you have to find a bracket build a bracket fabricate it then you have to find a mounting point
Then once it works then you have to take it off
Then you have to rerun it and then you got to oh paint it then you got to do this and you got to do that
I remember there was like 30 brackets on that thing by the time it was done. It was a goddamn Christmas tree
Yeah, dude. It was like the the side skirts on on the frs too. It's like I don't want to drill into my brain new car
like
To put a little side skirt extension on
I'm like it should it should do something and there was just absolutely zero hardware with it
So it's like I made like a kind of like a clamp bracket and I used some like j-nuts
On like the back of the wheel well to like at least make a spot that I didn't have to drill
And then and then like 3m'd like the inside where it went along the door
And dude, it's like every fucking week. It was like oh the 3m's popping off
So I got a fucking, you know, you hear it rattling. It's like dude. This is so janky. I hate this like
Only problem is is that you have to do that regardless, right?
Any any side skirt spoiler bumper euro is you're gonna end up drilling a hole
And depending on if you have like a rib nut gun or not is is how well it's gonna go
I was gonna say if you uh
You make you know looking for a business venture and you can make
Four-piece body kits for cars that don't feel like absolute dog shit and uh don't cost $12,000
I think there's something there. I'd be willing to say that whoever can just integrate quick releases
Into the body kits and still make them look nice. You get an automatic pass. Yeah
