you do get you now they're just check my temperature.
I said do I have a temperature? I was like nah just my throat.
Feels like shit. Yeah.
Well the main man's recovered. Yeah.
So you have for a while man, like you were like kayode, how long would like did you have to get to stay home and stuff or nah? I just kept popping pills.
Just as the main man does Johnson Speck.
Never say die. I'll just keep going get through
the day. He's like he's like I'm Mike.
He wins all the rounds and still calls it a drawback because he's like, I am that I am that good. I am Patti.
How are you gonna stop being super busy with stuff, you know, got a Ford car parts and Mods for my casa is somehow.
So, you know, just been, yeah, just on the grind non-stop.
So yeah, that's the way it goes. Man, will get the carpet soon.
And Ricky Ross, what's happening with you?
My man got the initially background going sideways.
It looks like the Cerrado there that it is exactly, man, it is its case spec it's KTM, it's kkt.
And that's what it's all about. Not much man.
Just, I guess things are starting to open up.
I've been to the city being under the bolte not jumping off the bolt. He but under the bulky, just
having a Quick Squeeze, what's going on, you know, taking the streets of Port Melbourne, but now, apart from that, just just the usual man, got a few. Well, go one car update, it's
not really an updated system, another Milestone, because our rack up so many kilometers. So nearly up to swell up 60,000
now, what? Yeah far out a year and a half?
Well, might as well use it. That's exactly right man.
Like I didn't go up down on ranges.
This this weekend. But you know looking forward to
the car talk team heading up there in an MR2, maybe even a brand new STI. If if the driver hasn't caught
any STIs, you know, I'm saying he's hardcore into his auntie is hustling and you know, that's how the mr.
Allen works, man. He was, he was on the show a
while ago. He's like he's gonna get the
plate, mr. STI will dr.
STI on. He would be very very strong
especially if that goes that's exactly right.
Couple of comments Ghetto Boys from Adam.
Ward, from the pot for the podcast, great to you.
Get a boy, says Heath power is out an area.
So, I'm watching by candlelight, it's very romantic, or about.
I'm glad, I'm glad we're making you feel very romantic.
You boys. Killing the mood feeling the
love. Maybe just a little bit.
Haven't done on your car, which is, which is going to be interesting to see to see that, but will crack on straight away with some car updates while we're being romantic and can light for Heath really Ross, your car of theirs first, obviously the big milestone, 60,000 K, what else?
What else happening to me? Fear, not much on the car, front
of sort of put a pause on my classic car hunt at the moment.
And yeah, just really. This monitoring the market to
see what sort of what sort of pops up in the meantime.
I gotta get in touch with Scotty.
J the main man, been missing him.
We got to do some JD him import discussions on what's going on.
And we got to get some cars down here.
JDM specialist, he's made monies that are 34, he is Godzilla himself, so we gotta get that going.
And let me just read my shirt and I'll show you how Godzilla I am. He's like, which window do I
pick? Freeze Candlelight romantic
session. I'm going to say Scotty because
he's got the guns guns out. Sun's out guns out.
So zoom in zoom in the Scotty Scotty was things.
We're talking about. You can't basically what's
happened. It's been a while since I've had
you on. Not too much.
I do have one thing. I just got it down here.
One sec, let me see them there, okay?
Yeah, finally. You know, I was up with an air
bag as well. Yeah, came by ship.
That way you could come with the air bag and everything in it.
All right. Wait, no explosion and there's
not a mark on it or anything the third decide to replace the one in Europe. You're the one on the Subaru and
the Liberty. It's mint.
Yeah. There's no like where marks or
Anything. I don't know.
That's weird. Yeah.
Does that is on the steering wheel?
Pardon. Oh yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Just like mine. Yeah.
There's no marks or anything on this.
Like, they've never really been used.
I don't know, maybe the person always wore gloves.
That's what it looks like, it's there's no marks on it.
That's it. That's a great.
Pick up all down. When did that come like this
week that just passed that just last week here so not too long ago. Also got these.
Let me show you. Oh yeah, the became the coins.
Yeah, sweet. Nice.
I got the Bathurst set but I also forgot that I ordered I swear on you and I got for this. So yeah.
You'll you take it. That's awesome man.
That's two dollars, you know?
Chasing us. You know, we don't want him to
go I'll be 26 on us so we better send them for sounds about, right. Anything else in the 31 we close
to rid your yet that's on the 31 year.
All I know is I need a new battery for it so I can finally do that and just figure out the super squeaking this happening in the one of the back wheels that I think might have something to do with the handbrake, but just let you know, if you ever get bored of it, I'll happily pick it.
Off your hands. I really can't take my Subaru if
you want Apostles, real man, Patrick is working hard.
But he's, he's got the future. He's he knows what he wants.
He's gonna get it. So, somebody get it ready.
He's good on the control. So I'm looking at parting with
the Subaru soon. Okay.
Just got to wait a bit longer to find out something that's locked in for next year. And then I should be able to
start Hunt, but you just got to steer roommate.
What are you doing? Yeah, well, I mean it'll help.
Sell it more. Yeah, better than the original
one. That is true match cleaner.
Couple comments anyone find it. Ironic such moronic that Tracy,
that channel nine has Street Outlaws on Rush, and Tracy, Grimshaw gets wet over hoons, we the irony between great racing in and having old mate. All right.
Tracy apart from like what funny?
He's like, why does my head look like a box?
That is your question. I don't know.
Excuse me. It's a camera angle.
It's all right. Funny that that street racing
show. Technically was just full street
racing and then they have a non-toxic out of here.
Patrick, let's say so nothing much but the Mazda Mazda has just been great. No complaints that I have been
thinking about doing the muffler.
Delete honest, so taken to an exhaust, exhaust shop and see, hopefully at some drone too much.
Because I know my mates SP 23, drones quite a fair bit but I'm still deciding I'm on the fence whether I'm supposed to go full catback system or just muffler delete.
So that's that regarding my masdar as well.
I've been looking A reason why our Scotty for his 31 because I'm looking for a project Calicut restoration to do on the side. So I found a s13 shell.
Complete rolling show, missing motor the Box, hood and front bar needs to be painted by complete interior and everything was asking. Um, I think to all the way up in
New South Wales and I'll fill those are pretty good still, yeah. Complete interior as well.
We obviously need to be painting right now.
But, you know, it's a good stylist for me who I'm really worked on much, especially, take tackling a big project like that so I was looking at that thing, considering it thinking, oh yeah, if has no borders re-open, we can go and, you know, possibly have a look at it. But yeah that's that's that's
pretty much it with me or and as well for the Godzilla King, I've updated my massive hot girls collection of is not going on.
I've now have all the skylines with latest one.
I got was a 34dd are costing me a lot and I've got all the Sylvia's as well. So are you happy with that?
That sounds good. This one is the shell.
Okay, cool. So I'm gonna try a couple weeks
ago. Turk, Turk a squat team actually
because like I was just evening, shells alone.
I think I seem like 5 6 grand. I've seen popping up for to is
maybe I value know it sounds probably something dodgy or, you know, he just has so much crap. You want to get rid of it.
Who knows, you know? So we'll see what happens.
But like I said Scott, you know, if ever get bored 431 giving you, too many headaches, know what come to a good home. 30
ones are going for like, you know, ten Grand now, I stayed codes activate, yeah, exactly, right.
Speaking of speaking of covid, tax and everything that's going on. Now Scotty just proves just
mentioned to us that he's looking at something else.
What are you looking all you going to keep it a secret and no, no real secret. I was looking at xa5 turbos.
Oh yeah, the prices are pretty good.
Yeah, they are. They're pretty good in there.
Is your leadership pretty good car.
So are you working a plane to any power to it or just keeping it stock? I can't keep it stuff.
Yeah, make sure you do a block mod.
If you know your, your jewelry text two point five five cylinders, you gotta do a block mod on them.
Do shaves. You put in the cylinder heads,
make sure you look into that if you go power otherwise, yet that fantastic. Cosmonaut.
I've been in a few and they rip man, they rip even stock alone.
All right, get that one chance. Yeah, they definitely go.
Well, I mean, you can you can open, you can have grown a little like a like a fair bit. If you want to go massive power,
gains then they do do engine liners.
So you want to that's we gonna do the block mod and then then you can just keep just pounding them full Boost.
Yeah, but yeah. Okay.
I'll spin a few weeks ago, about on the show, about I drive ac30, I modified see, 30, which is the same car essentially and then that, that had been strewn and maybe you're right, Patrick, it rips like it. These are things were rip, and
you'd like every year just, you just pulled like a train.
They got tons of talk and they see out or non real.
So, here are some sick. Yeah, that fat talk.
Oh yeah, it was just, it was really fat all through the rib rage and just like that our rev super hard.
But but Jesus saying, good, he had a muffler delete on his, as well as it ascends a tough. And it was like, you know,
popped and crackled and, but not like that stupid bullshit, you know, pop and crackle like that other happening with this one's.
This one sounded is instead of mint, the real Pop and crackle.
Yeah. So so yeah that that was that
was with that and you know, I was like geez, I gotta get one of these before with my I don't know how I'm gonna be able to get one now because I'm not just your cars going in my ass.
But one day, one day, Scotty one day.
Well Scotty I think it's a good choice man.
The only thing is without doing like a proper issue tune or anything like that to get significantly, more power and torque. The only thing you could
possibly do is put a Momo steering wheel on it, if you do that. I reckon 50% increase in power.
All right, she's for the heads up, that's just by doing that especially ones off Subaru before.
So I think, I think the Subaru, Ford Fusion works.
Exactly, man. Like and anything.
Anything goes anything else? It's good.
He's like, oh, you guys really? Are you gonna go for nearly one
or an LV? She say I have to go for the
later ones. I can't.
I just don't like the front headlights of the early versions. No I agree. 100% go with the
alvey's a much better. Yeah just I don't know just
doesn't look smooth enough or something.
I'm just not a huge fan. They're cheap obviously but what
color's the big question you're going to go all out with it.
Get the get the the super crazy orange or you're going to go.
I mean if it popped up at the right price here I would I'm not Fast cars, they look good in white.
I really like them in white. They look amazing with like
white with. I can write nice, nice, black
rims, I can black lip. Hey, yeah, tough.
He's like, gotta run. Guys.
Have a grocery. Thanks teeth.
Trimmed to the podcast, will speak to us.
Speak to you next time, you're on, thanks for jumping on.
Ya know, it's a great choice. Thanks of October is a great
car. I know a lot of people that have
that have had them. I've been in a few I want in
them when they were new. And yeah, awesome.
Bit of fun. Just like like real talky little
motor that just and they and you're right Patrick, they just play pool and yeah can't you can't go on one of those like an interest for. It's like a daily and just a bit
of fun car, hilarious, one whole areas.
From we are joined by the man the myth the legend LM seeing the sto this room Hustler. People with STIs.
That's right. He's not the ass man from
Seinfeld. He's the STI, man.
How are y'all? Good, good.
Just was a bit busy or I was out.
I was out of the household. So I apologize for being late to
the show, but I am here now and ready to roll as I say and it was Ruiz has got the 86 to a nice Drifter Cerrado 6.
You mean so write a six year 2006, it's his card to Cerrado.
That's what I mean. It's not initially, its post The
first day. Yeah it's it's it's the paper
cup. It's everything that like
personifies you know that AE86 not the popped in have the pop-up headlights so it's a little went for was it 46,000 dollars? Geez.
It was on options. I'm not sure if you bought it,
there could have been someone in another country.
But right, well, cool role of you pay for, yeah, that was for the car, that's not for getting imported to whatever country yet. That's just how much for let's
see. What I would buy another.
Have a ton, more fun, all right, hands down, hands down the çiçek legend telling your partner that you just spent 40 Grand on a 1986 or 87 Corolla. Clearly she would own apartments
or if they do. They also import because you'll
be spending that kind of money, what kind of coin on the, you know, that kind of a car unless you could be really, really incredibly stupid but it's usually on a somebody that's got a bit more coin to throw around. I feel ya that mean when Integra
Type R like this, you two are going to put 90 grand on, you know. Bring a trailer in the states
and like, we looked at their a cool car, but 90k, and then you've got 40K for an 80s Corolla with the live rear axle.
And it's very, very basic. I think the world's going mad,
but that's just me. I maybe, uh, maybe I'm getting
old and then appreciate the Finer Things in life.
But yeah, but if I follow thinking, life is a 1980s Corolla that's got its roots dating back to you know, the 70s. Sure if that's your thing go for
it I don't really feel LM wearing car Ablaze at the moment. It's your turn.
Okay, the STI has four hundred and six kilometers on it, really not enough because I'm going to basically come to one month since signing the car and I have to go do that one month.
The Subaru. Peace of Mind inspection,
whatever you call it probably should.
Put more hairs in the car. I did do my first fill up the
car panic and said, oh you're running out of fuel better, get to the pump. The large songs.
Give me a bit of a beep, so and filled up and I still had about 16 liters in the tank and the thought you really like you're really getting me to the the fuel station right now.
End up being I did about 49 L for 406 km.
I came to about 12 litres per 100 case and that doesn't include Kind of, when actually filled up the fuel tank this time the gauge went above full. So when I got it, it was just
out for. So clearly, it had already used
a few leaders where I got it with the 11 case I haven't.
So I'm assuming they left the car started quite a while and they probably were on a hard hit when they brought the car right into Australia when they did their little pre-inspection.
So and obviously, I've been breaking in a properly doing predominantly like, you know, low mileage driving, like a better. Stop stop breaking the clutch
and everything else. So In with that.
And what they did getting quality?
Is 400 K is I was initially again, as I said to Matt, like, worried that obviously the car probably, it's not again, unbiased, coverage, fuel economy, so Cleo, be an idiot.
If I did by the cup of fuel economy is more about.
I just don't like the idea of having to go to a petrol pump like every three days. It just kind of like looking at
stuff like the older generation like m6 and stuff.
They'll terrible cars for like they're great fun cars.
But again, you just be quiet. See spending all your time at
like, you know, a petrol station.
I'm not about that lifestyle and it's just, I can have a car that expands a bit more petrol. But I'd want to be a tank that
kind of thing, but, like, given given the economy, I just got now, probably as 400 case on the break-in, I reckon the way I drive, it's probably closer to 10 liters battery case, which, if that's what I'm getting out of this car, I'm absolutely happy. Like, I'm over the moon with
that kind of economy today is because I still left a little sticker at the front at the end. I still don't feel that off.
It says 11 .4, L fuel economy and then it says extra-urban is
15 point something and unfortunately my mother's eyes went to that figure where it says 15 liters /. 100km she was
quite unhappy with that. Also dont worry.
Yeah it's I drive better than that but I said look out the further figure but below that 8.7 you know explains why Alan
was out of the house just before.
Yes, his mother wasn't happy with a man.
No, no it's will get you. No matter what I do, I'm
actually driving her car more gonna be driving the sto, which is the perks of having the Str in the garage is since it's two cars are parked in front of it. I'm less likely people, the STI
out. If I need to be doing, you know,
some carpooling or not coupling, I should call it the carve a laying around, you know. So her car least like that.
That's been going a bit better. I'm I'm getting better economy
on that. Then we used to I'm beating that
you know ten liters / 100km. So, which is horrible when you
think for a Suzuki, but also nervous.
Because on the one that has to take care of it, times were down to 26 PSI. So a pump those up, you know,
what kind of piece I would? You be a danger of like the car
before the tire? Pulling off the bead in, like a
hard cornering situation? We saw her, I was like 12.
The 12, it'll be very, very flat at that point.
Yeah, I've never really tried to cause I was just kind of just just look at the specification is it's, you know, 30 PS, I'll put keep it at that. I've never been never been going
up, but having said that there I didn't have a flat tire in my laser once in it and then the side will actually crack an exploded so said it didn't go off the bed the whole time just just just anybody and I got myself a trade customer of the local. You know Automotive retailer the
SEO using that 10% use that IBM as soon as I start spending more money allegedly or get even more.
Yeah which yeah it was a long I really think I should.
I just go like over the years I spent I would say in the thousands of dollars because he worships her and technically I do have one of them maybe answer muscle.
Yeah well as well it's nice to have a trade account, you know, get to know that trade respect. I'm a Trader, you know?
Like, I'm sure dr. It's like, yeah, we're trading
hooked up. Yes.
Yeah. It's gonna be good.
The booking for the details coming up, basically, not the end of another side of this week, starting next week.
So I will be going away from me for seven days, getting all corrected in a ceramic coating and hopefully a good Now I'm actually thinking about like how I'm going to wash it in Canberra and I've decided I'm just going to break the break.
The rules of the local coin car wash where it says no bucket washing on my, take my own bucket and your lord.
So affirmed on, the car will have basically a smaller bucket with. I only have like four to six
microfibers with a washing liquid.
I'm just going to use like one my truck over the roof, one on a couple of the panels and then just use their water to hose it down. So I'll spend, I'll still end up
spending probably six to ten dollars just on Rain water at the car, wash, and I think they'd be pleased with that, but I'm definitely using the airbrush.
I'm losing their chemicals. They can forget about that
because none of that stuff's good.
But I do want to cut the car clean and you know, maintain that protection. But it sucks being in an
apartment with like a just a what do you want to call it?
Hey, what do I have Maddie? Is my garage.
It's a couple. It's cardboard or a car whole?
Yeah. Sorry if I got it sucks but I
come not rich enough to afford a house in Canberra yet.
But when I do, I'll let you know.
Well, yeah, I guess you got a point there, you know, just just to make sure you don't get caught or do it at weird times when I was, you know, I'll go like past 11 p.m. when ever I
go. I look I look at the camera
giving a bit of a one-finger salute and it still holds true hustling. So hopefully they'll right ones.
So they're going to be popped in hopefully sometime this week.
Hopefully, I get fingers crossed, get the car in the road this week, which we call because we done Diner, take for a good drive. That's being done with that.
And that'll be it together to get on the road, new tires as well, and it needs a set of rear tires.
So I'm just getting some cheap, he's put on there until I can get a, get a good set. So that's what that I took the
sr2 frig off today for its first driving like a month because Mom has been drawing, has really been going anywhere but now she's gonna start driving again. So I was like I want to make
sure it's all good so I took it for a drive when I go to, we're going to shake and yeah. Came back and was like, yep.
It's perfectly fine. That's being pretty much my
comments. As you know II, hope my brother
yesterday album was there we upgraded the steering really needs his Muse of 6. So the carbon fiber F6 F PB
wheel. Yeah.
Look, look quite nice. Yeah, it got really good.
Nice, chunky wheel with carbon fiber and really nice.
Really nice padding. So so he should enjoy.
Enjoy that. So there was a bit of fun.
Did you think there's any right as well?
Yeah, and there was a low boost. I was like, okay.
So, um, yeah, we were taking it easy but it was very, very nice feeling that when you got the good displacement and some nice boost, it's always a solid time. Yeah, we just cook on it for a
walk 3000rpm. Always, you know, keeping it
within speed limits. Of course, I'll just feeling a
nice talk, surge back and then it coming back and realizing it.
We were on the move. Motors, plenty of power left on
the table, which one we laugh. Now it also by you laugh is like
the surge tank. I think.
I like, who you like? What the reason, you know what
it is, that's ascertain. Just in case she runs out of 84
that fresh ethanol. But it's interesting today
already really really expected but my brother would like an ethanol read out in his car, obviously, to share the ethanol content in the fuel and he's just been running straight ethanol for Close to close to a year now, I think.
So, what's been interesting is seeing that even with straight E85 that's been running. It's never like 100% stable,
like full 85% ethanol in the in the actual the actual tank is usually hovers around the 82, 83 percent ethanol, which is, which is a quite interesting, especially the only one place sells it and they still call it. E85 you guys heard of that
before I can stop being proper like ethanol.
Like full 85. All right, that's not my
understanding was like the guarantees actually quite low tier like they promised it could be, you know, any way above e70, like it can, or they can go as low as 70 percent ethanol then 30% regular petroleum. And that's just, that's the,
that's the, Max still kind of guarantee that will get you up to about 70% anything more, unless I greatly, which I think is a bit shitty. I think if you're saying you're
selling E85, We'll be close to the 85 at the earliest.
Well yesterday he's conversely on 70.
I was a so, sorry 81%. He was 81 here.
Yeah. So I was like, okay, well but
the cool thing about the flex fuel sensor on it is like it makes it was adjustments automatically for you know for whatever that snow comes in. So he's like these like me are
83 the other day and I was like oh that's pretty good least.
As close to 85 but he's like he's never ever had 85 in the whole year he's been running the car and ethanol.
So it's been interesting Carla week time Gentlemen, let's get into it. Who would like to start?
I'll go cool. Let's do it man.
So let me just send it to you guys in the chat.
Now, this vehicle, I think it's the greatest of all time.
It's a good car. It's the best that ever came
out. It's great because that's what
it's called. It's the Great Wall X 240.
This vehicle were talking about were talking about luxury with leather seats, were talking about the electric seats through its the were talking about it. It's a sports manual.
Like I said, it's big if you've got, if you got one of those, you get recognized on the road. For being a smart Savvy
performance vehicle driver. This particular example has done
hundred and four thousand kilometers.
It's got a powerful 2.4 liter 4, cylinder engine.
We won't go into the details of how much power it actually produces, but it's awful and it's only done hundred thousand kilometers. It's going to rank up safety,
rating of four stars, probably back in 2010 when it was made.
So it's probably - four stars at the moment.
Yeah, but it's got ABS brakes. It's, it's got everything and
anything for anyone looking for a great family car.
That's luxurious and produces ample power 2010, Great Wall.
It's just surprising had cheaper 2010 car.
He's been great. Wall.
X 240 4x4 5950 guys. Don't look at the thing at the
stats. How quick do you think it takes
to sing to get to 100? 11.
Is it five business days? They haven't reached yet.
They'll tell you when they get there.
Patrick, I don't know if you've heard the news man, but I just getting it in now directly from Beijing, the pulled a, the put a tariff on you. 20 seconds to 100 look.
It's like, it's like Like the Great Wall itself, why did they build it? Keep the rabbits out now that
they've built this, not to win any performance performance, lap times, they've built it to keep the Aussies out so that we could be driving this vehicle around as a family car.
I know, one of the first, very first ones that came into Melbourne, a guy, I knew back in the day bought one of those and it's pretty good. I mean, Seats themselves were
probably as thick as a cardboard box, but they have a leather but yeah, now overall, they're not bad.
They're still quite a few running around my mechanic, just bought one in diesel and he paid 3 Grand for it.
They're just shows. Like, I mean, they were very
cheap. New weren't they look there?
They weren't a lot of money. 25, I think new.
So, I mean, look, this got alloy wheels as a large, sort of car.
It's got the space. I haven't heard any reliability
issues with those. I think they were using.
An old Mitsubishi based diesel motor.
Yeah. They are 4G 69.
Yeah. So yeah.
Not a lot of, not, a lot of issues with these cars, but yeah, like for the money, I mean, they're pretty good.
So that's my car. The week, I like hers are good
for value for money. He's the one that's a proper
food drive to because it's a proper form.
It's called Low Range. Allowing these new.
Yeah, it does. You don't even going to get up
someone's incline on their Drive.
One here. Flooring it.
I like how it says the exciting features.
This car has the first exciting feature is front cup holders.
So, you know, you know, there's exciting.
He would have, it's got a remote Central locking.
It's God, it's got rear cupholders.
It's a liger is now the car the color Patrick is show.
Phone is in the hot hatch segment.
So Patrick taken away. I'm just sharing in the chat for
you guys and I'll pop it in the oven, right?
So by the time you click on anti anyway but much better than the Great Wall. The one will get that piece of
garbage out of sight, but for like of the week we've got a fiesta exile for now if you some of you who are into your hot, hatches were know that these are very big especially in Europe, UK Um, I believe they have it that yet.
There, I'll become the specs there.
A duratec 2 liter motor. They produce 110 kilowatts.
So of course, much more powerful than they are great walls.
So, you know, you'll get 200 a lot quicker, something powerful more powerful by ten kilowatts really more power, but I think ye 10 kilowatts is 10 kilowatts. But this, this example, you
know, it's pretty Clean. It's for, um, for what it is.
It's got a relatively low case, 165,000.
This one's comes does come with the K&N cold air intake because we all know that gives you another 100 horsepower.
So, you know, you know, I know the great cause.
I remember once I was out with my brother once in his, when he had his, I'm proton Satria on the GTI when one of his mates had our, an xl-4 and we'll just racing them.
And you know, they go, they go. Quick, you know, for what it is,
you know, they're very nippy and I was talking to my mates, my mates, looking for a car, I told him up these see once you get a new car and told him, look at these and even just looking at the pictures and I you can tell it's got like you know why body flares and the car looks prop by looks mean, you know, for a fiesta at least as well and honestly our I think I think that the tough cars, you know, the answer unexpectedly.
See many of them on the road as well.
You see more? Exile 52.
Turbos than you do of these. So, and their three door hatch
design. I love that thing, looks sick,
my opinion. At least, I think all, I think
we are shaped like the GI Yaris. I like, how it's the same as
that, you know, three door hatch.
Yeah, I know, they are Exile. Fives in the Europe, they're
called the St 25s. 225s and there are three door hatch as
well. So do ya say it honestly, but,
you know, this is this is a sick car, you know, Or so it says almost six, eight six and a half red line, you know, like they're the Ripper cars it. Like if you I know I know Matt
knows because I know he has his hash but if you've been in one or with you seen them, you know about them then you know how much of a great car. These are when they came out
they were called a handling Revelation like they were real cool, little car to drive. This one in particular, has had
a couple of little little goodies put on.
To it as well. It said, it said some
aftermarket wheels which I'm not a fan of because I actually like the original wheels on these but it's got some semi slicks on there. D, be 82 rotors with brillo pads
Racing for 24 to 21 extractors directs exhaust, Monday or throttle body Momo pedals. So he had, you know with Android
auto and apple carplay which is all you need.
Really these days that a Rockford Fosgate amp and the front speakers and a Pioneer sub.
So 7500 or all that hot hatch - I Target is a great choice, sweet. All right, I'll go next.
Scotty do for you all out of the water.
So great wall, this car that I've got does it in half that time. 0, to 1, speaking of our churches this can't beat it.
Okay everyone the a Class Mercedes A-Class flying out the door right now. It is popular great-looking car.
Well once you get the one before it was even popular.
Oh here we go. 1995 what a 160 classic manual module where we
go? That's awesome.
Check out this little thing. Steven got root front.
So ugly, my God. Yeah.
Well, all you have to do is tell everyone.
Yeah, I've got a Mercedes A-Class.
Don't tell them what you hear anything?
Yeah. Not all of the Bands.
You're still broke to. You got one.
That's exactly right. Yep, it's still a bins.
Last, that looks cool. Oh my God, was that carbon fiber
before? Go back to the dash.
There's this carbon fiber in it. Performance Brabus Edition.
What's it say on my favorite comments, this one passenger and resets can easily be removed to turn into a minivan.
I just I mean it's not enough power.
Yeah it's got no power a hundred and ten point eight seconds but it's quick don't want. This is the Great Wall demolish
it. Well what are they covered?
Say the? Well he reckons you need to
replace a cat converter because it runs a bit sluggish but it'll cost more than actual card, self doesn't bite.
Test pilot. That's it.
That's pretty cool. You get all this for 900 bucks.
That's right. It's, you could be driving an A
Class, Mercedes for 900 bucks. Scott, it can you go back to
episodes? Just like clutches manual.
Yes, What is my new clothes? Awesome.
That's like a sequential box. Yeah, it's a, it's an amateur
pretty much a race car. Minivan.
And you turn it on. Yeah seriously these are about
to go up in price is because people can't go overseas.
They'll be driving around one of these around Australia as a minivan. That's awesome.
You have to leave the apostles. That's ridiculous.
I suppose we'll be getting on them.
I think they're already ditching the poster boys for these.
I'll let you go. Patrick, you know, you've got a
chili tomato, right? You're 25.
Well too little money in your in your chosen car either.
Yep. You know that Kyle had a big
umbrella. Do you know what that car was
baby? Well I'm sticking on the hot
hatch theme and my theme in particular is one of these.
So we got three hot hatches. Now, your ties in a hot hatch,
forget it, it's rubbish. It is a 0.
I saw one of those on castles. The first warmed up hot item for
that carries in else. None of us St.
Bow. So if you want, if you want some
St, Heritage, here's where it is.
He's Genesis gentleman. He's Genesis.
So it is a suggested only approximately 100 years.
These were sold in Australia, new, the turbocharged Mark 1 RS.
We never got here but it's they is 3D 3D body, which looks good.
The naturally aspirated engine, which was developed with Cosworth, a six speed ratio, a close-ratio get regular box to get dragged. So you've got a, you got a
Forgive looks like you find. Yeah, you could totally give us
more than the car is worth. L mean your sports tournament.
You know that she says will exhaust system find out of factory. Sounds little girls, that's
pretty cool Goodyear. Eagle F1 say symmetric tires
hydraulic assisted power steering mechanical, throttle control, Imperial blue metallic paint and made in Cologne Germany, these were a problem german-made car for a cups, safety rating to own a vehicle. Genuine low Kay's has had Clutch
and your most loyal, replace 15,000 case ago.
Turned out not due till 2020 for 10 years.
Early, you got it done. So like this is an exile 5xr for
Clear. When it to eat in only 7 EP 3,
1973 or alternatively as you put that in there just for the, for the, for the views. But that is My car.
I like nice. Yeah.
Almost as good as my not bad. But can you be turned into a
minivan? That's the thing.
I think that's pretty good with you.
Over a stereo. That was worth more than that.
Like that's okay. It's almost going to go have an
but decided against it. So I'm instead going to fight
the good fight in the full drive section.
So with that, I will a screen. I would have won this another
day. Guaranteed. but today after
represent after ribs and the patches, You know, it is a 2002, M Superior top-of-the-line exceed, so it has liver seven seats or several leather seats. So, you know, you can see the
whole family including the grandparents, or if you have for some reason, have made terrible mistaken.
Out of five kids. Those five kids, it's stronger
petrol Engine with some other behaviors, cruise control side steps, you know, for the shorter.
We'll all the kids to get in power windows.
Remote Central locking a major service has been done there.
New time about I knew what about it runs very well and it's being sold with a roadway certificate and three months, overdue stration. And look at these pictures.
Ain't that one of the cleanest pages?
I mean there's been a scuffing here, but relatively close Excuse me, sir, instrument cluster because which doors open, surely, I know what that shows, you where the wheels, but Joe's, something you can see the life's little cruise control stock. Yeah.
Instrument cluster, some more outside picks leather seats.
They're a bit worn, but nothing a little bit of, you know, a little of the liver solution can't fix up.
I think, somewhere around these. You're right for Drive selector.
Erase. It's nice and clean and yeah, if
the VIN and stuff you're going to check up and I'm sure this from the back, you probably lift up some part of this to put the seeds in and it's plenty of room for your fishing gear and everything else. And like, you know, in
competition with rize's automobile, this will make all the climbs, you know, that you need to make.
It'll go quite well up. The driveway Scott, any like I
said, fun for all the family. One.
And yeah, in an accident I think they'd Crush all you little hot hatches. So that's what I'm going with
and yeah, Presley some a 5.9. You can talk them down, it comes
with whatever the and, you know, three months of registration.
So you've got the car on the road.
That's pretty. I didn't check because I don't
think it needs one. It's great.
I generally feel if they put It's a road with the included it's a not including because that's usually a selling kind of bonus. Hmm well put it this way, your
car is eight years older then mr.
Rose has one there and there is still get full drive.
He still gets leather seats. He still gets 104,000 case on
the clock. He still gets everything that
you've got, but cheaper and better, but but there's one, there's one key difference. When they were making the Great
Wall, they store this stole a Pajero engine from 30 years ago and chopped it into it. So it's actually it's actually
an ancestor. It's like it's like it's like
the great-grandfather of the Pajero even though it's new of maybe that's why they call Great Wall as in as in great like great great grandfather. Because that's that's really the
part being special. Speaking of which I know this is
The week, Mary, but we'll go to talk about the Great Wall Motors. What we, what we saw earlier
this week, so anyway, that's down the track.
Yeah, we'll talk about that after after, after this, which is quite impressive. Actually, it was a good-looking
car. Well, I think Rizzo's PG here.
Mate. Just just putting it out there.
Yeah. So what's included asked, if you
asked a wide public, would they rather have a great wall or their other have, you know, this page and I see Mitsubishi most people would say The Mitsubishi. Okay.
Well, alright. Well, put your money where your
mouth is. Well, what are you going to go
for? And why?
I'll just go for the patch because funny, I want to win one of these has been a while since I want.
So I'm going to the page look. It has all the utility the car
comes ready to go on the road. You know, it's got four-wheel
drive, everything else. You'll see, like I said, we're
in the northern suburbs. Everyone's got seven kids here
so you know, quite a useful car. And it's got all the full drive
utilities and everything else. I'm gonna go with that.
Sorry stuff on. Almost go for mine.
Especially when I'm looking at through the other two, hot hatches as well and my hot hatch.
It's tough. But Patrick's like pad.
You like about the radio. It's a lot of hats.
That's the lose it. Maddie's.
I like it choose do. Thank you, thank you.
Ricky Ross. So we've had hot hatches, we've
had practical practical cars with lots of space.
I've obviously got to go with the one that is practical because I look after the families and that has a lot of space. The a class for the a class.
Now it's still a bands, it's got carbon fiber, Scott Brabus Heritage its. If you use you broke to, you got
one for 900 bucks, literally, they're giving it away.
Yeah, I got to go with that here.
It's a manual. 5-speed H pattern,
Patrick. Honestly, I think I'm gonna go
with the focus. They are, they are rare to find
in the fact you found were and he looks clean as well.
So, again, the mentalities is not a just honestly, whoever this is line that or whatever needs to, just be revaluation, check on the life like I'm paid 900 but man, I'll actually I'll pay you the unpaid there, but a hundred bucks to burn the car.
I'm not even joking. G ugly looking thing.
Ugly looking thing. I don't think we should be
talking about Germans and burning things on this cheese.
First, firstly, we are afonya. Patrick, what's going on?
Scotty It is a popular when you think I'm in a class. What do you think of?
I'm aside their Messiah but my flesh.
I give up. Honestly, I do.
Radiosity fucking asses. What a fall from grace.
Yeah, awesome. Because it's Pajero life because
Pajero life, Scotty's a class because that comment or you can take the seats out. Becomes a delivery van.
Yeah, that's a that's Top top of USP right there.
Top USB. I'm going to go with the focus
because I think it's I think is probably like in terms of like a haunted house rule called Luke hard drive.
That would be the one I'm gonna go for.
So that's so it looks like the ST1. 70 wins who?
Thank you. Thank you.
Thanks, Sam. Speaking of Great Wall or is
have you, did you boys do what they've announced and what they're, what they're about to drop for their latest s?
Not SUV. It's more of a full drive like
And you to the Ranger. Yeah, that's that's a good
enough intro. If I don't even know if they've
actually read, we see it. Because it was like, well,
what's it called? The Kenan Kenan Kenan?
Yeah. Well, it was all.
Basically, what this is, your forward Rangers, your Toyota Hilux. Is this Nevarez?
You got to watch your man because this thing is coming for you. And it's a, it's basically going
to going to rewrite the game, they reckon.
Now, I've shared a link, guys, and I think look a stuffed up.
I know I'm saying this thing. It's just been launched.
It's there it's there. It's the next generation of the
Ute. I can't think of many people
that would think that it looks crap for you.
It's really good. We've been trying so hard to
work with her all and you know, we very much appreciate a press, you know, applied in the car. That's right.
Take on and we take it over some rugged terrain.
We told boat or something similar, we'd give it, you know, A full world and give it a solid review.
You know, we've always been pretty positive about her vile and we welcome to reach out. They've seven wonder why?
But these two legitimate get up. This is where we're going to be
getting out there. We're going to hustle harder and
we're gonna get out there and we're gonna get these guys to, to, you know, give send us one for test drive.
I reckon that typhoons up for an upgrade and it's what better success at the typhoon. Then is this one called the
Canon. It's just called the GW mute.
And it is a little bit. So and that's about 34 Grand
drive away. That's with all the bells and
whistles like a 4x4 system. Everything else.
Yes, seven year warranty, man, that was hard to compete with.
So it's got every gwm you to comes with equipped with a night. Large 9-inch entertainment,
touch screen featuring The gwm is intuitive, Automotive management, software apple, carplay and / Android Auto lane, keep assist, it comes with it's a Roots as a real step up.
You know, let's like I'm not I should love to test her when in Oregon and this would be a to be a really cool.
Cool. Cool Cobra.
It looks good. Like a look at the pictures and
it's got its got cameras everywhere.
Yeah, it's it looks like it's actually put together okay and from all accounts, Chinese cars now are really starting to like become really hard decent. So I think It's definitely one
of the thing. But what do you guys think of
the looks of Arnold's? Great.
Looks like it is called the Canon.
Yeah. It's like to build my own and
then you've got the specs, you got the cannon, the cannon, L, and the cannon X, the can Excel. So you can set my going to excel
Cannon. So so the cannon X is 4990 Drive
Away. Alright, that's that top of the
range. But you know what, for for 3390,
you're getting 18-inch alloys. Is Comfort Tech seats, which is
pretty Killer Android auto car. Play a be with petitioned
detection Lane. Keep assist active cruise
control, reverse camera. That's, that's a lot of car for
the money and then, from there from that, you get the can tell, which is 18-inch Alloys getting comfortable seats.
Same thing, Sports bathtub liner, 360 degree view camera, heated front seats, adjustable power, adjustable driver seat, Auto, climate control, and the kind of X using the premium interior leather. The seats touchscreen instrument
cluster. Well, that's also a 7-inch
technical engineering class, star wireless, phone, charger, and power. Adjustable front driver and
passenger seats. So, I What will their mind that
actually? I think that's from 39 on.
I do. Right by you do you don't need.
You don't need a ranger anymore. I think any one of these I think
just, you know, there's a, there's a market for them and I think given the price increases across the rest of the market and people wanting, you know, these four door youths.
And this one doesn't look too bad.
I reckon it would see it will sell.
All right, like, x-class came into Australia, and it was basically a Navara, and then they sold and then the left.
So, you know, given they didn't have.
Have some level of success. I think these guys might do.
All right. Just breaking into that you
market. So yeah, I think it's not too
bad. Let me see that.
What do you guys see the cushioning on the seat was about Nathan? That's enough.
And what exactly, you know, safe either and you know, I think they went through that kind of period of.
Well, we can't sell pieces of shit here because people in the market, generally would rather spend more to get a little bit of extra goodness. And, you know, I think they've
come to come to the challenge especially in recent news and they've been throwing down with incredibly good value cars.
You know, like I said, we'd love a test drive will oppress car.
I think we'd get some excellent. Courage just that they've
they've they've kind of seen had their Growing Pains.
I've kind of seen, you know, what the market wants particularly around here and what they have to kind of deliver. And they've done it much faster
than I think the Korean cars. All the Korean companies ended
up doing when they started out. This is its I think with mg.
Great Wall syak lbv. And potentially a couple more
Brands into, you know, they've got the money.
They've got the ability, they know how to launch cars and Australia. Now they know who to partner
with, there's going to be a couple more bland Brands coming in and they will have cars that, you know, we at the moment we haven't seen around here and people will want them.
It's especially when it starts with the electric car.
Cause people will want them. Well, here's the thing, they
they're just kept trying. And at the bottom line is they
getting better with everything they produced and how many like, how many mjz you guys seen the right now?
I'm seeing them everywhere. Yeah, they're pretty good mg3
that, you know, that small car market, it was dominated by The Pecan toes. It was dominated by the Swift's,
they will increase their prices and the Rios accents are gone.
They've they've all increase their prices and these guys are just this this selling them and they're not then they don't look too bad. Have you guys been saying when
the Rangers MJ's? Go to a tree?
No. Yeah actually I sort of feel I
shall saw one today going towards - I was impressed in Austrian and German robot little hatchbacks and even like SUVs the same, the popping up everywhere.
I've noticed. Yeah, they look rather nice as
well. Yeah, they're not too bad.
Yeah, like a name G3 order or something like that like as just a little run about You know, will have no qualms about something like that around. It looks quite nice.
As long as I see, it comes with the goods required, you know.
But they all do have that kind of carplay, you know, nice kind of equipment, good safety and everything else that you kind of need. Like I don't see you know like
the the call is what 16 690 with navigation and 17 and then the excite is from 18 690. That's got your only you know
you 16-inch two-tone machine alloy wheels like a six-speaker audio system with a Yamaha 3D sound field.
Yeah. It's got those got the Elvish
Heritage, you know I'm saying? Yeah.
Interesting. Stuff that you need and walking
it as I do. More affordable, more affordable
price. So I think it's only gonna be a
matter of time till they really start to kind of take control of the of the thing. Scotty's Scotty says he's like a
real real nice mg mg 3 which is a soft rifle isn't awful, Isn't it? It's modified version of it in
g42 adapted. To fire 7.62.
Mm, Nato round. Rounds.
It's called the German Army on stage and I typed in ng3 and I'm having to look at images of them.
There's quite a few like mg3, machine guns popping up in between the cars. We've got a comment from Pamela.
Pamela asked, can you get an electric car with a turbo and no. You can't--no say they run
purely as like, with two electric motors.
Who had that don't have forced induction that I have exhaust to make that force in action. So you cannot sum of the
electric cars. We have.
Do they need a turbo. The model S we drove Maddie
thousand. Sign like that was ridiculously
fast. So I mean going back.
What how long would we test driver and two years ago?
Two years yeah probably longer than two years, they just talk and that's I guess that's where where it all comes to comes to play. But yeah, getting back with
this, this whole Market. Do you think guys that they are
going to take over eventually in terms of price, Sharon and market share? Because everyone is jacking up
their prices and they're just staying real low looking forward into the, you know, into progression like I'm just checking out the z s EV you know the M.G.'s
electric vehicle for what is it? 4390 Drive Away.
Hmm, you've got, you know, a five year unlimited km warranty and eight-year 167 called a warranty on the battery like that is like 44 Grand or 45 roughly.
What you're looking at for a nice, you know, SUV esque, kind of car that's fully electric. That is very attainable for, you
know, like, An average family purchase.
Yeah. Whereas when you're looking at
something like a Tesla, the cheapest thing you can get is a model 3 even that you'll got 60 plus.
And you know I think questions can be made about the fit and finish the turtles. I don't think it's up to scratch
yet for what they charged me still growing, pains like these guys they have you're not just in the petrol cars because obviously they actually put there as well.
But even the electric cars that they're doing their best to be incredibly competitive pricing. I think the way things are going
they will probably be able to kind of cement themselves assaulted like place in the really see Australian automotive industry. But possibly, you know else,
other Global markets as well like it's either key was always going to be. Who can provide especially going
to the Future Evie's for the best, you know, price to, you know, regular consumers right now.
He's our still they coming down but there's still very much a call. It a wealthy persons game where
they've got a couple petrol cars at home and the going to change one of them. 20V, this is more of that.
Push to you can change your primary car, the primary family automobile 20V. And I think the companies that
can push that the fastest will probably see the most growth in the future and can I quickly say there's we haven't seen anything in Australia yet in terms of what's about to come the biggest manufacturer of electric cars in the world.
It's not Tesla, it's a company called byd.
And they are huge and electric buses that I think Victorian government's about to trial a fair few electric buses.
They, this is the Beav IDs car page that I'll share with, you have a look at the vehicles that they currently sell in China.
It's and they have the money, they have billions of dollars to invest. They have researched R&D centers
in u.s. in a whole lot of different countries and they
will be coming to Australia where Very, very soon.
They just they just completely like to discuss.
Yeah, completely electric be Mardis, though.
The history of that company, they started off on making batteries for Nokia. Well, now they do anything and
everything, it's a juggernaut this company and then what about geely? That owns Volvo, right?
So they've can clearly easily learn from what what Volvo Engineers have been doing. And you know, they know how to
manufacture And they've got the capability to produce, huge amount of electric batteries, which the companies are pyd.
That's all they specialize in it.
They will come very, very soon. So yeah, we'll see a whole lot
new cars, whole lot more affordable.
The only competitor to that mg's that is EV was the Kona.
Hyundai Kona EV and high-end has just recalled 70,000 of them globally. And how much is it?
How much is that? Currently by the way, it's I
think mid He's okay. Yeah, will be interesting
actually, because to get your hands on an electric vehicle.
They are pretty expensive. I'm not against them or
anything, that's fine. But yeah, if they could come in
at all, definitely, I could see them selling quite well.
Good question from Stephanie. She asked, do you think hydrogen
is a threat to Evie's? Probably not.
Now, they did have hydrogen in America and it's, it's should have been the answer and to me it still is the answer, but they kind of well, no, one really supported it.
And Honda was really down when I was kind of doing anything with it and they pulled out with it. So, predominant, I think issue
they've had is Storage of the fuel itself.
Yeah. And transport.
It's been a situation where most times the pumps that have had hydrogen. Don't you just produce the
hydrogen on site, basically. Just repeating it.
So those sorts of issues scaling them up, and making them more efficient, I'm sure it's possible.
It's always possible. The moment you start getting
these things rolling, but I think just the stronger push that electric cars had, and that has skewed the market.
I think if we were, you know, if somebody had pushed hydrogen in a similar manner, We may be saying the same thing about electric cars like battery, powered electric cars right now saying they don't, ya know, was going to invest more in Battery Technology because not worth it Hodgins.
Probably just doing fine that kind of thing.
I think just the Pioneers in the market just kind of went and pushed hard, or battery-powered electric and just at this point, it doesn't make a lot of sense to diversify those Technologies.
If your own just focuses on, you know, improving Battery Tech and then just running these electric cars.
That's probably the way to it. Almost like Only go.
So I don't think it's the worst thing in the world.
You know, for me, you know, a combustion engine in tow combustion engines where it's at.
But, you know, I also need to recognize that we are not the owners of the world we're simply here, you know, kind of taking care of it for the future Generations.
Well we're trying to also have a live our lives through so we have responsibilities like the generations before us.
I think they did a number on the world and a number on the We we want to, you know, kind of on a different kind of look with hope then. It's we probably have to do a
better job them them and kind of going down electric wraps going that sustainable route. It's going to be and like,
having a nice TV just as like in the family car that we take only worried about, you know, petrol. It's already plugged in charge
that kind of thing with the other Tech that are frequently.
Would you come with just? Yeah, it's nice.
It's not the worst thing in the world.
It's just for When I'm actually driving for the sake of having a drive, then I need myself an internal combustion engine and that'll get more and more difficult as he is gone.
But I think at the very least for transport, I think going electric going in that kind of green energy, path is certainly good and I was just checking the the corona electric launch edition is like sixty, three and a half drive away.
That's a cheap one. So mg's definitely undercutting
them for forty, four and a half drive away, massive on the car.
And just to put into perspective couple of years ago, Mitsubishi launch The Outlander the plug-in hybrid, the, whatever is called the phev, and that was close to 50 or 55,000 dollars drive away.
They whole lot of government departments bought them, but they never really went anywhere. They weren't that much
efficient. Anyway, so to get SUV, probably
not the same size and out. Line a bit smaller for Mid, 40
thousands, I think. And that's before, you know,
deal is probably taking five percent off that price and sort of selling it to you for about forty two or three thousand.
Forty two, forty two thousand dollars.
I think that's a lot of car. The batteries themselves are
probably worth more than what they're selling the car for.
So I get this, whether giving you that that warranty, it's time to get into some what would your hours will seem We haven't done this in a while because what was your others?
One of my favorite things to do. Now, first one of the evening
you're in 1980s and you're looking to buy a new car gets a 1990 and you've got a lot of money and you're a rich executive, you can either buy an SL 600 which is a V12 Mercedes SL Or you can buy a BMW 850 CR which is a V12 BMW Grand tourer, both V12, both ridiculously expensive, both ridiculously powerful. What would you go for and why go
for the Mercedes? It's got yeah.
What were you guys going to say is it's just looks more classier. I mean they've been doing those
types of cars. For many, many years and I'm
just a sucker for an SL or thing.
Yeah, you know my theory on Ben's is you broke to you got one and I reckon that look at the 3 star.
That's the way to go the bench for me, can't, you know, Senator V12. So I'm also and I'd say out of
the other two car companies, I am more partial to have been so as well. So that's fair.
We think that the look of the The bins for me, with overall better than the BMW. I don't know, but that's just
pretty subjective. Next one, you've you come down
off your high, from your multi-millionaire, ask 80s, cocaine, run to the 90s where you swear you need to get with your need to downsize and you to buy a hot hatch.
Now your choice of very limited because you've got Toyota Corolla GTI you've got which Is the hundred kilowatt Chanukah Jana kilowatt hour for a GE version of the, for aga.
You've got Nissen Pulsar Triple-S in 14.
You've got Ford takes 3, Turbo, front-wheel-drive not all dry, or that's been in the works. You also have the Suzuki Swift
GTI. What would you go for and why
also also also, It's not 20 life, easy one.
We all know they pull a premium one week before race was.
That's just, that's just the unwritten rule, which pulses on a friggin and 14 Triple-S. Yeah, I'm going on us so I can
give it to my people to Sun later on and you can be the coolest kid around as well. Look, it's 15s Other king and
SR20 Pasa. That's that's that's where it's
at. These are was gonna policy.
I got the pulsar and we'll just keep on going on forever.
I'll just keep on going. Yeah, that's it's funny though.
Out of all those cars, the one that's really kind of you can still kind of find is the Triple-S pose are because like the the Suzuki Swift, just didn't survive.
The laser takes trees, got all just thrash.
Destroyed the Corollas. I haven't seen a GTI in so long.
The other ones you can still kind of find Triple-S pulsars.
And I think the whole new SR20 kind of backing in performance-wise with them, just kind of kept them going.
So yeah. Triple-S Pulsar definitely the
differently the win for that. Last one and gentlemen, before
we finish up your after interesting sports car and you gotta buy one today. Now you've got money, is money
is not an option. But you want to be an
unconventional and you want something from the 2000's.
So you know you'll be looking at either.
And if the series to RX-7 twin turbo or you're going to go for a run, are you speaking to winning?
No, it is the 300ZX. Twin Turbo, what would you go
for? NY If D Arc 757 like is nice in
isolation and it's also use a relatively rare car unconventional. It's got that the twin turbo
engine. And but when you have on option,
an RX-7, you know, take the RX-7 like even today like you see when you see them on the road and you see both are very rarely on the road, 300 It's usually trashed.
It's easy puttering and it's not looking clean anyone that's gone RX-7. Usually it is one of the cleaner
cars going to see and if you know if you've been taking care of that by the owner and it's still like they're both they're both of joy to see but I think the RX-7 puts a bigger smile on my face when I see one in the world so I definitely have Derek so don't worry. That real-life a pic seals as
you said you jumped in there quickly with RX-7.
Why would you guys have been straight away because as father, The day I got into cars and loving cars and everything.
The FDR Excel has always been in dream car of mine that and the S15 Silvia, but the RX and FDR 07 has always been top Pinnacle.
Like, topless that to me, that is just everything about the Kaiser. So unique and pure like the 13B,
no, to Road engines and sequential twin turbos that like nine grand, Red Lion like that, like And the cars just so different like unconventional. You know what a Pistons is got
literally true Doritos in a Pringles can and, you know, like and this is probably bias but me personally, I think it's probably one of the best sounding cars out there as well, the rotary well. You know what it is?
It is the RX-7 itself. Also change that background.
He's got one and no I really do like him, I think.
Yeah, as the guys are saying earlier that it's the owners that I've come across, they've kept him real clean probably to compensate for how dirty the engine is itself.
But apart from that. So I reckon the engines been out
so many times that they had so much time to just keep everything else clean. That's exactly right.
And, you know, they it's the visual appearance that they want up and this so rare, like, you know, I mean to get a good one.
Now, what are they? I mean, we've got the main man,
the Godzilla himself, he would know.
What's going on there? What are their words?
40 50 on the 6th? Not 100% sure and it really look
up. If days that much tell you this,
like 60 Grand. Yeah.
It's gonna s. Probably asking why you look in
the 60 Grand. Yeah, it's yeah.
Grocery guy. He knows them, but they're for
that pretty. Yeah, rare.
So she bestowed found a 57,000. Yeah, so they've got the covid
tax. They got the initial D.
The Takahashi casket tax. They've got to sell me, his 420,
just like five years back, maybe six years, diagnose her, so 20 years, like now you're dreaming. Everything.
It is a sports car, that's the definition of a sports car.
To me what's a sort of initiative, a sports car.
What do you think? Would you take over that?
In terms of that price range because for me and FDR exhibit is just it's got perfect weight distribution.
It's got plenty of power, very trainable, they look good, they sound good, they go, they go good, you know, everything about them is really good and unique, I mean, look, the rotary engine to have it, do have issues, but in terms of, in terms of a whole package, I mean all road test and everything at the time were saying like, you know, these kinds of put up against pretty much everything, you know. The 300ZX twin-turbo, the the
R34 GT-R, the what else, what else, was there?
Any other? The time, the Supra, my for
supers and stuff, in terms of it handling package, I think they are pretty much the best. And like, as a package in
general, they are probably the best sports car that Japan produced in the in the 90s 2000s.
I still have, I still think so today, unless you guys disagree, I agree. Yeah, I I agree 100% like going
there. They do say no, the FDA was
competing with in our Porsche 944 Turbo is and like and all that other stuff. You know, like there were a
serious car back then, you know, they were like they over engine like despite the rotary engine and all like the kind self now the aerodynamics and the balancing, the white.
The everything that went into consideration, the like the full curves of the whole car is like when you can like what handling is ice. That is to me like, as you know,
you guys said that is for, I see as a true sports car.
You know, it outranks, it wouldn't normal car can do but more like you'd like for the time and even now you know like there's so much but needed to me.
The car has so much potential, so it like it's unbelievable.
What you can do with them and what were you saying?
I was like, you know, there is the, the GTRs were also built in Japan and that time, period. Hmm.
And they also, I think similarly had that aspect of over engineering and to some extent, unnecessary over-engineering, you know, that all drive system, the rb26dett engine itself.
Like, I think it's, I'm not gonna say one is better than the other. This is, you know, keeping the
Fanboy at Bay, but I would say they are they in terms of what was done, All those cars. Feels pretty comfortable.
Yeah, back-to-back safe will grr. 7ft, what would you think?
Would be a good idea? I'm sorry.
Yeah, my nature. Do I even need to answer?
Yeah, let's go. Do the man?
Yeah, it's lie to me, if they were pugna switch R34 GT-R, RX-7 twin-turbo, like, every day I would probably go to the RX-7.
First, I'll be like, I'll be like, yeah, this is it's an RX-7. It's, I think very soon looks
better. Arguments cooler.
Okay. Yes, it's not as reliable as an
R&B 26, but at the same time at the same point, it's still a as a package, I think it's just it's just a is a is a perfect car in its own, right? And so that it's starting to get
the love that it's really deserved.
But having said that though, RX-8 where do we do?
We actually see them ever increasing in value because they're there at like they're worth nothing now.
You're going to come back up or know, they don't like the engines. That's what failed them.
They look awesome. I really really like them.
Yeah. Resist, posting something.
What the hell, how are excited for 25 Grand?
330,000 case, though. So yeah, to bring your car
pretty much so to manual. I think like I think the price
is, will probably reach a bottom and they're close to that and probably rebound from there. I don't think I'm going anywhere
ridiculous, just because Again, they don't have that level of following, but they are like a rare car, then, you know, this certainly rarer than your average car and they have some, they still have the, the RX badge, you know, even though most people, a lot of people think it doesn't matter deserve it. But they are an RX unitbatch
car. They do have the spirit of their
predecessors, even though it's probably disrespecting scrivener processes and I still have it. So, I think the whole some level
value. No, I need to watch.
But you know, the RX-7 or yeah, anything else previous would have, I mean this is a more inexpensive end this particular car. But I mean the RX-8 that I've
shared but then at the same time, there probably are the last our exes or ever will be made given Mazda had to borrow close to. What is it three billion dollars
just to get through this year? Interesting especially when they
took the pain for one but I don't think they're going to bring it back so you know. You know what you guys are
taking me. I'm just so if they are some was
on my dream College, that'll be would be something.
I would I hold dear to my heart. However, many you can be wrong.
