Put the fuckin' mic on!
Fresh off, eating something we shouldn't have eaten.
It feels so delicious.
Feel like shit.
Feel lethargic.
Here's the dealio.
If you have not partaken in this, don't.
And it is, I don't eat them anymore back when I was much heavier, well over eight years
ago.
I didn't care what I ate, and since then, and I lost a lot of weight, I try to keep that
off.
And one way you can keep that weight off, Lurch, is not eating a chicken bake from Costco.
I didn't know what they were when it was brought up.
I was thinking of a bake, which is normally like a pasta bake, you know, kind of thing.
It must be chicken and bacon and, you know, pasta and all that.
I had no idea what this thing was.
This is a Costco chicken bake.
Oh, you're looking it up.
That's not as bad as we thought as far as calories.
High in sodium.
It's less calories than I thought.
Here's why we ate it.
All right.
So I felt obligated.
Okay.
And I do splurge once in a while.
That's all you need to.
Yeah.
And I did not eat the whole thing.
I ate half of it.
That is it.
But if you all know what I'm talking about is the chicken bake from Costco when you
go to their little cafeteria.
And I don't think there's one good thing in there for you.
It is a complete dopamine hit.
Chicken's healthy.
It is.
You put all the other shit in it.
Yes.
A lot of things are healthy until you fuck them up.
And I'm sure it's the highest quality chicken Lurch.
Oh, absolutely.
Farm raised, you know, free range chicken is what I should say.
I'm sure.
No steroids.
Probably the worst chicken in the known demand.
Big ass bread, cheesy, but every bite's delicious.
Anyways, our new assistant store manager, Javon Burke, his wife stopped by and
she's Katie sweetheart, Katie.
And she brought those for us and Javon's out working right now and
we're podcasting in the office, but we took a break and I did partake.
And then on top of it, she got us paninis.
I could not even, even after a half a chicken,
there's no way I can indulge in the panini,
but we have them for backup for another lunch sometime.
So we're very appreciative.
It was awesome.
And it gave me a reason to splurge here on this Friday and have a half a
chicken bacon Lurch got introduced to the crack cocaine.
Yeah, I never had one.
It was delicious.
Yeah.
And I can only do three quarters of mine.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Which normally I could crush pretty much everything,
but it's a lot of bread.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
It's very filling.
That's for sure.
So if either of us passes out while we're podcasting here,
that is the reason, but we're very appreciative.
It's a lot of fun.
Yeah.
And it was delish.
That is why I stopped eating them because I just know I'm like,
Oh my God.
I used to love to get to Costco dogs,
but man, you burp those things up for another horrible thing.
And there's some channels that break what they're using.
Okay.
It's all lips and assholes.
Once in a while, once in a while splurge, but now I might have to
splurge on the chicken bake.
Now they know what those are.
I haven't had a Costco dog in probably 10 years.
And I haven't had a chicken bacon eight years.
I just backed out of the Costco pizza.
Backed out all that stuff, but it is delicious.
There's no doubt that it's delicious.
All right.
So we got some business to take care of hog works.
Of course builds motorcycle parts.
The way bikers want them clean fit quality finish and customer
service that actually answers.
We run their gear on our hearties because we trust it guys.
Check out our full selection of hog works products and the
law-abiding biker store.
Remember, if you don't see it, we can still get it for you.
And no tax to feel outside Washington free shipping over
$100 savings to be had.
You just got to hit us up on the contact form and throw
us a part number and what you want.
And we can get their lickety split to you.
We're trying to add more of their products to our website,
but that just takes a lot of time.
We are getting more custom orders.
And oftentimes when somebody asks us for something,
it then spurs us to make the listing right there.
And so yeah, let us know.
Hog works making some really, really cool stuff.
One of the new things alerts that I saw in my feed last
night and I want to get one for my bike is the,
they're making the color matched radiator covers.
Yeah.
I just saw that.
Yep.
We need to get those added.
We're going to add those, but if you want one,
it's that big plastic piece on your 24 and newer that
covers your radiator.
It just pops up in rubber grommets.
Super easy install.
They'll paint match it color.
What a way to increase the aesthetics of your bike.
And we can get it for you.
All you got to do is tell us what color and we'll
get it ordered up ASAP and get it to you.
You'll be supporting us.
And of course, we may spur us to add it to the
store quicker.
So there you go.
That's what's, that's what's going on.
You want to ride longer?
You know it.
Tired of a store naked ass?
Always.
Fix it with a high quality butt buffer seat cushion.
Head over to lawbindingbiker.com for such
store.
Check out our full line of butt buffer seat cushions
and hopefully adding some new models here soon.
Just some different colors, a few extra options.
The lurch has got something out here,
which we'll talk about here in a minute.
Hey by colleagues.
So 3d has a wide variety of innovative products for
your early Davidson and a brand new line for the
all new Honda Goldwing named gold strike quality,
affordable chrome lighting and comfort products.
Gold strike are the motorcycle LED lighting innovators
for campus plug and play system compatibility.
Head over to lawbindingbiker.com for such store.
Check out our full line of zero 3d products.
And I will say we just dropped this morning.
It's out in the wild.
It is a very thorough video on zero 3d wiring.
And we basically go over if you're new to
the zero 3d ecosystem, especially on the 24 and newer
because they changed the wiring, new BCM and stuff like that.
There's just some considerations when you're shopping
in the lawbindingbiker store for zero products that you
want to take into consideration such as,
am I going to want full functionality and programmable?
What do I need for that?
And then there's some different products discussed,
but I'll give you a really good understanding when you
go to order like, okay, how do I want to build this
out?
Do I want expandability in the future?
Do I want programmable features via my smart phone?
Very detailed video, very thorough.
And it dropped on the YouTube channel.
So I head over to the YouTube channel.
Lurch will also put it in the show notes.
And I suppose it'll probably be embedded in the store
under the light strike commander and standard adapter.
I suppose under those particular products,
if you scroll to the bottom, but it is out in the wild.
And so, yeah, go check that out.
Lurch has got some new, adding products rapidly to the law
bindingbiker store.
You want to talk about a few things here.
Yeah, as of the recording of this video,
we just released a live on our...
Recording this podcast.
What'd I say?
Video.
Oh, well, thank you.
But I know what you meant, I think.
Yeah, thank you for correcting me.
I didn't know when I said that.
At the time we're recording this podcast,
we just released a video on this item.
It is a brake fluid tester.
We, in our maintenance video and in our video,
just on how to flush your brake and or clutch.
We have two videos, one for clutch, one for brake.
We show you a tester, but we've finally sourced them
and now we've got them ourselves in our store.
We're selling a very good one that has everything you need
and none of the shit you don't need.
So if you're not aware,
your brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air,
even though that's a sealed system,
you don't think that liquid can get in there.
It does over time.
And so you don't want to over, I think, four...
3.7% bivalve in moisture.
And really, honestly, if you start getting over 2%,
you really should think about changing your fluid.
What happens if you get moisture in your fluid
is that fluid can expand,
get hot and expand, turn into gas
and it softens your brake pedal
and you can get complete failure too.
So this thing is a very reasonably priced tester.
Sub 10 dollars.
Yeah.
And it's one of the best things you can do for your safety too
on your bike when you're doing maintenance
is make sure that all your fluids are,
your brake fluid is working so that you can stop, right?
So we've got that in the store now.
One more thing on that is on the brake fluid tester guys
is it's super simple to just pop your reservoir cap
and you just stick two probes in
and it has a light, a dummy lights that tell you
whether you've changed it or don't change it basically.
Yeah.
Based on what level.
And there's a lot of knockoffs on Amazon and eBay.
They are not the same.
That's the difference between our stores.
We vet, we try stuff.
It's the one we put in our toolbox.
And yeah, it makes it,
even if you're not going to do your own maintenance,
we show you how to,
if you go to that brake fluid tester
on the store scroll to the bottom,
there's two videos there.
One very detailed how to flush your brake fluid
and one on your clutch.
Because the clutch side,
if you didn't know the hydraulic clutch
is used the brake fluid.
It's the same exact dot for brake fluid.
So, and they flush the same way.
That's what we do different than everybody else online.
And the different stores and stuff is
not only get the tester,
but you got a video.
And if you can't do your own maintenance,
at least you can test your fluid yourself.
And then when you take it in the shop,
you know, they're not fooling.
You can say, yeah,
I actually tested it with my own tester
and it definitely needs to be flushed.
So go ahead and flush it mechanic.
You can tell them that.
And with that,
what it just skipped to the last one.
I don't want to promote the other one yet
because we do,
those are about 40 days out.
Okay.
Perfect.
Yeah.
Axel nut covers.
And actually we're sitting in the law
biting biker store in Ryan's office right now
doing this podcast.
We do some from down here
and just looked over on the shelf
and saw these bad boys.
And they are figure,
Roddy Axel nut covers
and they're coming all the colors.
That's all the other stuff comes in.
Of course,
I'm looking at some gold ones
because Ryan like it to gold
on the newer bikes.
They're pretty slick.
They just pop in.
So there's really no install.
You pop it over your actual net.
It goes in.
Yeah.
It goes into the space on both sides.
Yeah.
Cause the 24 newer is a little bit different.
But man,
that is sexy.
What we'd expect from figure,
Roddy guys.
And this is so sexy.
These are going to my bike.
I'm currently at the front wheel off it.
But as soon as I get it back on these,
we're going to do a video on it.
But yeah,
it's not even a beer install.
I would make it a beer install.
But,
Well, of course,
you got all the different seven colors
that match the dipsticks.
Of course.
And the figure,
Roddy dipsticks,
magnetic dipsticks,
which we highly recommend.
Then we just pop the oil filter video,
which blew up and we're selling the bejesus
out of the reusable magnetic oil filters.
So you can coordinate.
You can basically coordinate Lurch.
And so I'm going to coordinate with
gold axle nut covers.
I've got my gold reusable magnetic
figure,
Roddy filter.
I've got my gold engine,
magnetic oil dipstick from figure,
Roddy.
And then of course,
my PSR Anthem pro adjustable lovers.
I've got the gold ends on those.
So yeah,
she's looking like some bling,
bling bike going down the road,
high roller style.
The ones that we're looking at here in
the store and we're talking about are
for the 24 newer bikes,
but we also,
and they're available in the performance
aluminum so you can get all the colors.
But fear not,
if you've got a pre 24 bike,
there are axle nut covers
for those bikes as well.
But they're just stainless steel.
And they're either black,
nor old or silver,
because they actually go over the nut
and then you use a set screw to hold them on.
Roddy.
Nice.
Nice.
Yeah.
Awesome stuff guys.
Way to dress up your bike.
And with those are purely aesthetics,
of course,
but the oil filters and the magnetic dipstick
are aesthetics is just the first
part of them.
Their functionality and the way they
protect your motor and grab all those
ferrous metals out of there
is just the icing
on the cake,
I will say.
Lurch,
why don't you go ahead and talk
about the,
are we coming up to the deadline of the
patron member meetup?
We still got another month.
Yeah.
Well, let's go ahead and tell the folks
all about that.

Yeah, buddy.
I got mail.
This is from James Nash.
He's talking about the stealth port
and it's simply put.
Now that I have one, I don't know why I ever lived without it.
Well said, man, a few words
and I appreciate that very much.
It's just right to the point.
I agree very much.
I love products like this that just solve a problem.
Yep. Easy peasy.
Solve a problem and they just work
and they're affordable. That's why we
shipping an assload daily.
We just got a buttload of...
A few new models too.
We'll be working on that here shortly
and we just got several hundred of them delivered
yesterday.
Nice. We've got them in stock, guys.
Get them. Solves the problem.
Letting that fricking charging
SAE connector to dangle around
everywhere and get corroded and nasty
and melt on your exhaust.
Go check them out in the store.
We did a video on it too.
If you're new to the stealth port, it's something that every biker
now that knows about them is like, yep,
there's some products that are just like,
yep, that's definitely
no brainer. One of those
no brainer products
for sure.
Welcome back
you freaking biker holics. This is the podcast
for the Motorcycle Majority.
The big M.M. also known as the 99%
large
charge and motorcycle scene by being here
by listening to part of what we call the hashtag
biker revolution. We have one question
before we get started.
What are you waiting for? Bike holics, mount up
and let us take you on another wild-ass ride.
Ryan Urlacher here, host of the law-abiding biker podcast
and your high-tech redneck
couple new free videos coming out
crazy like on the YouTube channel
putting out more content than ever
to help as many bikers as we can
worldwide and what are some
of those new free videos lurch?
What are the ways to make your Harley Davidson cable clutch
great again?
And we go through all the different ways
that you can improve your cable clutch.
Harley in 2018 on the soft tails
and 21 on the touring bikes went back
to the cable clutch and it is
it's lackluster to say the least.
We both are coming off
of Rushmore Bikes
and had that both had the hydraulic clutch
and man what a superior system
a hydraulic clutch is.
It engages at the same point all the time
you don't have to adjust it you just ride it
until it wears out then you put a new clutch in
but Harley went back
to the cable and on these newer bikes
they have
a plastic Bowdoin connector
in the pre
14 bikes with 13 and older they actually had
metal cable housings
clutch cable housings and metal adjusters
this new one it's plastic
so the cable housing is plastic and the adjuster
is this auto manual as we call it
adjuster that you
pull a pin basically
a button and it releases tension because there's a spring
in there sets the
the adjuster on the
cable and you don't really
it's really difficult to customize it
meaning you know make the
clutch engage where you want off the grip
so there's options
to replace that cable housing
and that metal adjuster we've got
fat baggers options
and what it does is it just smooths
your cable clutch out makes it much
more linear and
feels a lot better and you can also adjust it
to get it to engage right off the grip
if you want and then we have
an upper clutch cable if you want to do that
there's another option and then you can go with like the
Mueller if you want to the Mueller 2.0
or the original Mueller
and the 2.0 version
you replace the clutch ramp
and clutch facilitator which reduces
the pull force needed
to pull in the clutch by about 45%
unbelievable it is amazing
it almost feels like it's not working at first
when you first grab it it's that big of a difference
and then that 2.0
comes with a metal clutch adjuster
and cable housing so
Ryan goes through all those options and shows you how you can
make your clutch cable
your cable clutch great again and we are the
preferred
reseller of the Mueller power clutch
in North America we work
directly with Mueller because we understand
that we know it we answer questions we install it
we back it and
we're also not only the preferred but the
number one reseller of
the Mueller power clutch in fact for the past
almost year we're the only ones in North America
that has stock of them and we always have
stock of them a lot of the other
stores list them online even the big boys they don't have
them we do because we are the preferred
reseller and the
next video is Krause easy shift for Harley
Davidson the ultimate fix for hard to
find neutral this is another one
of those really cool products it seems so simple
but it definitely solves a
problem
especially on the newer bikes in the M8 bikes
you'll find that neutral can be really hard to find
and what this does
is it's a device that mounts on
to your rear shift lever
and puts the
shift linkage in a little bit
better
Ergon, not ergonomics
just better position
kind of flattens it out so it's not moving at an angle
and it not only does it
make it easier to find neutral
and shift through the gears much
smoother it's a crazy
it's crazy all I can think is it just
makes that linkage
move back and forth better changes the leverage
point yeah it's just amazing
and yeah it just makes the whole
shifting experience premium we've got it for twin
cam, twin cam bikes and
M8 black or machine finish
we are the number one reseller
of those in North America too
because we know them we use them we back
them it is a one beer install
go over to the easy shift
this is directly the article and video
but if you're just listening
and you just want to go to it you can just go to
easy shift, Krauscare
a US easy shift
in our store scroll to the bottom of any of those listings
and there's the detailed video not only
at the amazing
piece of hardware that it is
but also how to install
anybody can do it takes one
tool and a beer made in America
yeah with American
aluminum built aluminum
very nice we love back in the USA
made products and Kraus is making
some great stuff and we're proud to
we're proud to be the number one reseller
of the easy shift
now we love our
you know
everybody that shops in the store supports us
and all that but this is also
a huge foundation we mentioned
that we've mentioned before that we
pulled ads from our website articles
with every video comes a very
detailed website article so if you like to
read and watch the video it's there
for you but this is one way
there's many ways that the patron members
of law binding biker media
support us and that's one
way that we were able to try to
rely on the patron membership
fees to offset
the cost of the revenue we're losing by not
putting
all those ads that kind of muddy
up a website and so these are three of the
newest patron members Lurch wants to mention
George Hibbs of Goddard, Kansas
Joe Cornwell of Matthews
North Carolina and Glare
Gary McLaughlin of Camillus
New York
thank you thank you thank you
seriously from the bottom of our hearts for getting
signed up as a patron member it's very easy
to do you just sign up for a monthly
subscription and you get to choose
the level of benefits that you
want to receive and there are a plethora of
benefits such as t-shirts and stickers you get access to
the private Facebook group it is a
full free zone nothing but bikers helping and connecting
with other bikers in there
you get access to live video
broadcasts and chat podcasts
early often times you'll hear a months before
they come out in regular public
podcast format access to
premium videos up on request access to our
official ride meet up at events like Lurch said
gonna be over on the east coast this year
and don't forget mid-level
and above your year-round 10%
off patron discount code on anything
in the law abiding
biker store that's
lawabidingbiker.com forward slash
patreon
p-e-t-r-e
o-n
no better time than 2026
to get signed up
you had that patron discount code to
no tax if you live outside of
Washington state and free shipping over a hundred bucks
we're almost paying you
we're giving it to you
deals to be had
for our patrons
so thank you so much for everybody
that's a patron member but for actually
taking the leap instead of just sitting back
and watching and actually helping
and you help to get the ads off the website
and all that kind of stuff you're you play
an active role in what
we can provide and what we can do in this podcast
is one of them you're supporting
our ability to continue to put out
information and help
the biker community
so let's dive
into our main topic today
and that's so we did an episode
we basically
I went over to the east coast
recently and
just before well during daytona
bike week
Harley flew me over there
we rode i-road from south carolina
through georgia a couple days
and ended up in daytona bike week
Harley provided a 2026 limited
that video is out on the channel again
we did a podcast on it diving in just a
little bit deeper it's a complete
review of not only that trip that i did
with Harley Davidson but also
my complete review of the
26 limited and what you need to know
as a consumer so I strongly encourage
you to listen to that episode
and go watch the video on the youtube channel
where we ended up on that episode
the youtube video shows the whole
thing but where we ended up on the podcast
episode is basically
i-road for multiple days
i flew lurch
on the company dime here
over Harley didn't fly him over
but the company dime flew him over there to
meet me because I wanted him there
well number one to get some warmer weather
number two neither of us have experienced
daytona bike week before and number three
I really wanted to cover and you'll see that
in my video how I covered not only
the trip there but daytona bike week
itself as we had a lot of
obligations around there I was still there for Harley
technically but that actually ended
and I was able to do some of my own stuff
to while we're there because
it stayed we did an extended
stay but anyways
it was nice to get out of the
cold weather back here where we live
in washington state and it was
pretty fair weather over in daytona
and again it was our first
time so we're going to give you our perspective
here's the deal by colics hog works
is built around two things writers actually
care about high quality parts
and customer service that stands behind
them that's why they become a go to
for hardy davidson and indian after
market upgrades and we're not just talking here
we run hog works parts on our own
bikes because we want gear that
fits right looks right and holds up
in the real world if you want to upgrade with confidence
check out the wide array of hog
works products we proudly carry in the law
biting biker store grab what you need
and get back to riding and if you don't
see it in our store hit us up on our contact
form because we'd love to get it
headed your way kind of what we
learn what we think about it our opinions
and
I'm going to talk about the stuff obligations that I had
there one will talk about
king of the baggers it was race one daytona
is the kickoff of the king of the baggers season
we had yeah we'll tell you
about that we had some passes to get access
I had a special
event with hardy to go test ride the new trikes
with the new suspension that came out
and twenty six here
unbelievable there was a course
and they took us off the course and out on the road
and then we went on of course
main street in daytona
we were hanging around we were there for multiple days
and so that's what we're going to talk about in this
episode
so with that said
I roll in two daytona
day two and
lurch is
has flying in that day as I'm riding out of
from jackal island georgia which we stayed
with a bunch of other creators and we're riding the twenty six
limited we roll in
the weather wasn't that great right in south but
when we got into daytona it was
pretty damn good weather
it was sunny and clear and definitely a lot
warmer so it was nice to finally be
I kind of got my thoughts together review the bike
now I will tell you
that I got to keep that twenty six
limited
throughout the trip so the predicament
becomes is
lurch is at the hotel
where we're going to stay
and there's parking there for
you know my twenty six limited
and I'm going to keep that and ride that around
but the next morning
we got to get lurch a bike
we had squared away I talked to the hearty
rep and said hey I'm flying lurch in
he's I want to really run a really
film and capture the daytona bike we
can hardly stuff
and I'm like can we get him a bike
can we get him a twenty six limited for himself
and hearty rep hooked
us up we're very happy
about that so we were
over closer to main street
where we stayed and
lurch is bike is
out at the international
daytona international speedway
and so
in true
well first of all I go are we going to
uber over to get my bike
hey we're going to uber over to get my bike
like no you're riding too up
fuck yeah we're at bike event dude
are you serious yeah
we're doing it we're not proud yeah
it happened it happened it did
happen and so
lurch jumped on the back with me
and we rode it was actually really fun
and we joked a lot about it
yeah I
you know as a rider myself I'm not
normally a passenger it's very rare
if ever but I
had no reservations jumping on with you obviously
but I do
once I got over the fact that I was sitting
on the back of the bike and like what do I hold
on to because I'm not my wiener
yeah I'm not wrapping my arms around your waist
and hold on to you once I got
comfortable back there I see why
um like my wife in particular I can't speak
for all passengers but my wife loves
to ride and she's always she always sees
all kinds of wildlife and all kinds of cool things
and now I know why when you're sitting on the back
back there you got no care in the world yeah just
look around and check stuff out especially even
being taller yeah you're well helmet
even if I stop quick your helmet won't even hit
my helmet because you're taller so just
that's in the video we got some good
footage of it rode over the bridge
you ride over the bridge over the water
to get over to international speedway
and uh they're low and behold
uh we met our hearty reps over there
they had a big booth over there
this year they had
well the trike course was big
of course they've got their police motors over there
they do their shows and all that
um but they had the trike course too
they were kind of doing both on that
and uh
um and lurch got his uh
course would you choose well I it wasn't
an option I was just giving the bike oh no
I told him what you wanted oh did you
yeah and then you know I told you I was getting
I asked you and you said tell him see if
they can get me a roguelite so I'll get you a roguelite
so I guess that was correct so I did
ask for that but I didn't specify a color
as it turns out uh
you had a purple abyss and vivid black
street glide limited and what was waiting
for me a purple abyss
and black roguelite so it looked
like twins riding around all week
we were matching so
we rode on the bike together and then we had matching
purple rain bikes yes
and uh yeah and we're not
proud and we're very happy
I think most people thought we were just a couple we just
blend right in dude
uh so lurch got his bike which was
really cool so now we're free right so
now we're like okay we did have some obligations
but it's nice to be in Daytona Bike Week
the beautiful weather the beach the ocean
and we got some fucking bikes and uh
we can ride around and we can kind of do
what we want so um
this particular day
I do have to tell the story
now I rode out
of we set it on another
podcast because I was busting lurch's balls
but I want to tell the story again
so first world problem
because we get very
adapted to our environments and we
become
we yeah we just become one with our environment
I guess is what I'm saying
very adaptable humans and
so
we pull out here we are
I just rode two days on a
26 limited that Harley
gave me we got lurch
a hookup on a
26 limited
we ride out of the speedway
we come to the first main road
where we're going to pull out and we got our headsets
paired
and here's what I hear in my helmet
well
well I wish I could uh
I wish I could have a bike with an extended
seat and I could really use my
uh I could really use my
uh extended brake pedal and
uh you know the windshield would be
nice if I could have a different windshield
and I mean this color is okay
and I'm just like I think I responded
I'm like dude
you just got a fucking free bike from
Hardy Davidson in Daytona shut the fuck
up and we were just laughing but I get
what he was saying but it is funny
to bust his chops on that because
I was like oh my god dude are you seriously already complaining
we're not even out on the road
I was not complaining I was just saying
no but you see it's just funny because
the way it came up I'm like I did I last
I was like first world problem dude
what I was meaning is the products
that we sell and use are
are valuable and
I wish I had them with me on
that trip just to get the bike a little more comfortable
for me because I am above
average size it is true
uh but yeah you guys get it we had
to have fun with that I'm like oh my god dude
you got flowing today Tony you got given a free
bike and the first words out of his mouth
or just complaints about the bike
but we had fun without the rest of the weekend
opportunities for improvement there you go
there you go so uh
yeah that's what I mean by we just become we
tend to forget I do the same thing
you forget you're like sometimes I have to pinch myself
too uh because we get
access to a lot of stuff and you forget you're like
oh yeah that's right and maybe
I'll wait to complain
I'm just gonna ride this for a minute this free
brand new 26 limited
from Hardy Davidson but uh
yeah Lurch talked about in the
last episode I talked about my impressions of
the 26 and Lurch got to ride it all around too
so if you want to get his impressions on the bike
for a taller rider he definitely had some
great uh input
into that in the last episode so
check that episode out
so I want to say Lurch this
day what obligation
do we have we rode down um we were gonna
oh we did go out so we decided
to go from there I remember
we we went back to the hotel didn't we
there was at the day we ended up
for a short time at Teddy Morse yes the
short time yeah so we went out we
had to be back by a certain time
um to the same
location at the Speedway for the trike
deal that I had signed up for with
Harley and
it gets pretty packed in Daytona
bike week obviously
and getting back and forth to Ted
Morse can take a little destination Harley can
take a little while
um so we got out there
to at least
experience it a little bit right
we actually pick up the bikes went and
grab coffee at Starbucks oh that's what we did we
work for a while and then we
Ted Morse I remember when you were
complaining about the stuff we were turning right
and going back towards Daytona
so okay that's why we did that
yeah and then we headed up
and it is Teddy Morse I just want to make sure
Ted Ted is it what is it Ted Morris
I keep saying Ted Teddy Morse
whatever right so make sure
I'm saying it right do you know
Ted Morris is
well do you know yes I do I already
looked it up so spell it
M-O-R-S-E
positive yes okay Ted
Morse's yep Harley Davidson
I don't know why I always
have that as a as a
yeah Teddy Morse it's not Ted
it's Teddy that's what I thought
Ted okay so sorry all you
people that have been there and
um I forget Teddy Morris is
Daytona Harley Davidson
destination Daytona
basically it's basically a
complex if you haven't been there
the dealerships there but
because it's been such a big event for so many
years they
have expanded
and there's just shit everywhere
and you know
a ton of the vendors are up there a ton of the
you know aftermarket products
the dealership food vendors
music drinks beer bikes
all that you can think of
in this very large complex
so to speak that you can walk
I do want to go back stunt riders
stunt riders we got to see the stunt
riders that was really cool
but we kind of got there a little bit
late we had some
some of our
manufacturers were resellers for their
products and so we needed to make some
contacts while we were take advantage of this
plus see everybody
I do want to say you know between
Daytona and
the dealership here
just we had a lot of people take
the time to stop recognize
us obviously and say hi
and shake our hands
we'll just get that out of the way
and we're very thankful for everybody that
did that that supports the
podcast the YouTube channel
we're kind of OG's in the space obviously and so
people taking the time to come up and say hi
and I had stickers I was prepared
shook a lot of hands talked to a lot of people
handed out stickers thank you guys we really
do appreciate that
we get locked away
here doing podcast and videos from afar
and so whenever we get the chance
to actually mingle with the biker community
that we serve
is always a pleasure for us and so
I'll say thank you with that
but we had limited time
we got we had to experience a little bit
we shot some preliminary footage
but then we had to bug out
because we had to be
back to
the international
speedway
for the trike event I do want to
say
actually we'll get to the history of Daytona later
I did a little bit of history on it
in my video kind of
I didn't know how it started so I looked up some of that stuff
but let's go back
and so we barely got back in time
we may have
exceeded the speed limit
quite a bit on the way back
I don't know what you're talking about
to get there
in time
because I need to be there
oh yeah that VVT
you have to put it to the test a little bit
we got back to
the speedway
and there's the course set up now
I'm not going to get in too much depth
the video does a little bit better job
but in a nutshell
basically what they had
is they had an older trike which was a 25
then they had the brand new 26
now Harley for years
has been in research and development
and the production
of a completely overhauled
rear suspension
for their trike lineup and they finally
dropped it on the 26 models
which across the board
got updated with the new fairing
designed the infotainment control unit
the new platform if you will and so
they took us creators a group of us
and
basically the course was what they wanted you to experience
is
you first got on the old trike and they had speed bumps
out there and some cones
to turn around and turn through
and then some of the speed bumps
you wouldn't hit with all your tires
so a trike two on the back one on the front
you might be going around a corner
and they had it set up where you would just hit
like your left rear wheel over the bump
and they really wanted you to experience
that old suspension
and
it threw you around around. I want to tell you guys
I had never ridden a trike before
so that's also why I signed up for this
I really wanted to be involved
and so I got to ride the trike
in its old form
and no shit
those things going over that course
and I went over it pretty fast
in fact I think I was supposed to stop
at one point. You were supposed to
and I think you can even see in the video
the guy doing the demonstration wanted you to stop
he had some type of input
he wanted to give you and you just blew right by
I know and I felt bad I didn't mean to do it
but I blew by him because I had already seen
other people do it so I was just like I'm going
and the other guy didn't care
and being a motors officer and just being a law enforcement officer
you've been in a lot of cones
so your natural instinct isn't
lock on to go through
so you're just doing what you naturally do
I know the path I know the path here
but I did it quite a bit of speed
the guys were laughing some of them were like holy shit
they had it set up so that you would hit
like you said you're left for a tire
and then right after that you're right for a tire
they're offset so some of them hit
at the same time some were one
than the other but it really put that
suspension to the test
and with the older bikes
how much
how much suspension they have a couple of inches
not a lot without being
too specific it's a couple it's
maybe close to three and
it's more of a solid axle so you hit
you hit a
bump with your left tire it throws that
left side up in the air
yeah it really did and it throws you
back and forth in the seat it's very violent
yes it is and you'll see
my video Lurch was filming me
that's one of the reasons he was down there obviously
and it threw you around and so then
right after that you jump on
a 26 strike with
the new rear suspension
and go through that same course and I'm just going to tell you
in biker terms
it is night and
day suspension
it's not independent rear suspension but it's about
as close as you can get it acts like it
yeah yeah so I'm just going to tell you a little
bit about it but
basically what it's about
so this is not fully independent
rear suspension but Harley's
new deity on style setup
combined with a what's Lincoln and dual
shocks and a sway bar makes
it behave much more like one than the old
design ever did
the rear real travel on the new trikes jumps
from 2.3 inches to 5 inches
which is about a 117%
increase and Harley also reduced
unsprung weight significantly
on the road that translates to a trike
that feels far less harsh
and more confidence inspiring this is for my
article guys
I will say yeah
it's what they did
and I'll say this
I said it in my video
Harley with this particular
if you're a trike rider
and you
don't want to spend money
don't even go don't even
don't sit on it do not move it
I'm telling you Harley
these things are going to be backed up I don't
even know if they'll produce enough this year
because if you take any trike rider
whatsoever
and they get off their trike and then test ride
one of these especially if you go have
any kind of bump course for
you'll just be like bend over
and
how much do I owe you?
because it's that significantly
different guys it is that significantly
different and I say that also because then
we got to go out on the road
and Harley reps took all of us around
some road and there are
at least some curves
around Daytona Speedway some back roads
because it's so flat over there
and so straight but we did hit
some curves and out on the road
that translates and they took us
over some really shitty roads I could tell
it was purposely some back neighborhoods
and some potholes and weird
shit but even fast
guys I could not
believe how fast I was up
front luckily with one of the reps that's a really
good rider and I always try to get behind
him because he'll take me fast
and we fucking push some
corners I cannot believe
how well that trike
how fast I could go
through those corners now
it's still a trike and so
there is still a ton more
required input on the bars because
instead of leaning you're actually turning
the bike and the faster you go
the harder you have to yank the bars to get
through that corner I mean you're putting in a lot of
input that is one of the downfalls
to a trike but there's so many benefits
to him admittedly
I will tell you from muscle memory
and being a motors police motors officer
for so many years I'm not afraid
to admit that that's how trained I am because I
was on an awful bike so much that at the
first two lights
I put my feet down I did
and I realized it on my video and I'm like
okay that's funny and
there's people behind me I'm sure they were laughing
I put my feet up I go it is
I will tell you it is really nice sitting at lights
being able to take your hands and just
kick put them up on your legs and you know
to put your feet down you don't have to balance it
it's just kind of relaxing
I also admittedly will tell you
that when I got back to the speedway after I ride
I immediately put my left foot down
and started looking for the kickstand to put the kickstand down
realizing after a few seconds that
there was no kickstand and that I did not need
that but that is what muscle memory does
to you but
very very pleasant experience
for somebody that's in the market for a trike again
if you're trying to save money
I'm telling you do not go ride one
as it is that significantly
different and Harley
just knocked it out of the park
because Indian doesn't offer a trike
and if you want this style American made
v twin type deal
you are without
getting some aftermarket kit which
usually aren't nearly as good
this is new age
of trikes
for Harley Davidson
alright
so we left the speedway
and after the trike event
what did we do that night we just kind of went back
I think we just we were so tired
did we go
we didn't go back to destination that night
we went back to the hotel
Harley was having their dinner
with the traditional media
they invited us to come in
and join as well
we had a dinner and a bunch of the creators were there
we were separated off over on the side
yeah
exactly
what Harley does
and I said this in the last podcast
they're still traditional media
but obviously YouTubers have taken that over
and
so we left South Carolina
a day or two before
tradition
and when we say traditional media we're like your typical motor journalist
that everybody used to rely on before
YouTube
that's really shifted heavily
in the industry where YouTube is kind of taken over
that YouTube influencers and reviewers and stuff
but the traditional media is still there
and there's still
some people still like that

and so they'll come in
they came in like two days behind us
so they rode the same route we did
and kind of got there and so this is where
I guess this is the night that they ended up arriving
and all the influencers
were there that I rode with
all the YouTube channels
influencers weird to say sometimes
but all the YouTube channels that I rode with
and we all had dinner
and kind of networked and all that kind of stuff
back at the hotel
so I guess the next day
is the day
I'm pulling all this from
memory is
did we go to King of the Baggers
and then yes we did
so
guys if you're not following King of the Baggers
I have been to King of the Baggers in person
now I watch it on Moto America
I follow it closely and I love it
and I'm telling you
you got to get involved with it
it's an amazing thing to watch
and a lot of R&D is coming out of it
it's been really good for the sport
it's been really good for the industry
for American made V-Twin
both Indian
and their own right
of course Kyle Wyman
factory rider
sport in the number one plate for the 2020 season
as he took the 2025 championship
so a lot on the line there
and Daytona always kicks off
the first race of the King of the Baggers season
it's an interesting track
for bikes
and
I've been down to Laguna Seca before
for the race Harley back when I tested the
23.5 CVO
second part of that was getting to go to King of the Baggers
and pre-season practice
out in Arizona
so I've got to spend a lot of time around these bikes
and some other access
and it's just so fun the smell of race fuel
the energy
but we had press passes and some inside
access that Hardy Davidson provided us
so we got right down to
we got to get to the paddock
and then all the way down into pit lane
and really
the tensions were high
there at the speedway
a bunch of changes with the teams
you know
with Vance and Heinz
leaving Hardy Davidson and bumping over to Indian
you got the
and then you got some new riders
I'm trying to remember Carl Wyman
Bradley Smith
and Raspoli
and then we got Gillem
for Indian factory
factory, Gillem, Rocko Landers
and then you might have to look it up
while I'm talking I can't remember the third rider
but Indian coming out
swinging this year obviously
they're touting that it's their 125th anniversary
I think it's going to be Troy Herfos
oh it is Troy Herfos, yeah my bad
I don't know how I forgot
in my head I go it's a name I know
no you're totally right, yeah I don't know how I forgot him
so those are your factory riders for Indian
and all just unbelievable
riders and then of course
Raspoli also racing for Hooligans
which we're going to get more into this year
I love the big bikes
it was heating up, it was fun
it was heating up
and so Lurch's first time in person
which is always cool
there's benefits to watching online
but you just got experience
what did you think of the first race there
you were right down at Pit Lane with me
yes we had media passes so we got access to everything
but I also noticed that you can
do a fan experience
and get not quite as unfettered access as we had
but you will be able to go into the paddock area
they'll take you out
in this particular instance
at Daytona they took them out there
and they are all standing around the bikes as they're getting ready to go
and I mean you're just inches away from the riders
and then they'll bring you back
off of the racetrack and behind the wall
as they take off and then you move on
so there is access you can
get if you want to do that fan experience
but it was very
impressive
the sound that those baggers
make it's amazing
there's been a woody
and especially on that track
because they're coming around
towards the finish line
the famous bank corner
they're wide open
and it's just impressive to watch
I mean
just even when they fire up
and get ready to take off
when they took off from the starting line
you can feel it
it is palpable
it was a very fun experience
interesting
it was just a few years ago
when I was saying we were at Daytona
we were shitting our pants because
these bikes
these full baggers
were reaching speeds of 165 miles an hour
this year
this advanced so quickly this sport
these bikes
on the famous Daytona bank corner
were approaching speeds of
190 miles
per fucking hour dude
on a full bagger
is that MPFHs?
yeah it is
MPFKs
MPFKs
MPFHs
MPFHs
there you go
but it's intense
and I was right up
and you can see the stress
I was right up next to the riders
Kyle
and I was getting some film of him as he took off his glasses and his hat
and you can just see the focus
it's fucking go time
and that energy
is unbelievable
fun to watch on TV
because they're following the race around
but it's a completely different experience when you're there
and that track in particular is a little bit different
because it's so large
and we were at
it was kind of hard to see everything
but there is stands that you can sit in
and watch the whole race
yeah plenty of opportunity for that
yeah like I said
there's benefits to both on TV at least you get to follow it
but you got to hear it like Lurch says
and feel it and smell it
to really appreciate it
you'll appreciate it more when you watch it on TV then
you'll get it
you'll get how powerful these bikes are
and the innovations and what they're doing
like I said up to approaching 190mph
that's just mind blowing
but yeah we had to spend the day there
and Hooligans were fully I believe took the
Indian had a good weekend
they took the podium
race one and two
for the King of the Baggers
looked like Harley swept up on Hooligans
but that's just Daytona guys
Daytona since I've been watching King of the Baggers
Indian always has
just a very slight advantage
on Daytona because
it's not as a technical course
it's a very
how much do you have
and on that straight away
they just get hardly a little bit
but that all changes after Daytona
every year usually Indian
now Kyle's won at Daytona a few times
some mistakes by Herfoss when Herfoss
first came on the scene
some rider mistakes but
it's always Indian just inches him just a little bit
but on the rest of the tracks
that's not really the case as we've seen Kyle
kind of swept up last year
I'm curious to see how Indian does
the rest of this year with any partnership
with Terry Vance
he knows what he's doing
especially like I say they're touting
their 125th anniversary year
whether you agree with that or not
not getting into that I'm just telling you what they're saying
and that's not really up to me
but yeah
a lot of big things going on and it's going to be a tough
and Gillum he's such a good racer
and so is Herfoss
and Kyle's a great
all the riders it is going to be
an exciting, exciting season
so we left there
and we ended up
with Teddy Morse's
destination Daytona
so that we could meet some of the
manufacturers that we need to shake hand
we met more people we want to make sure we covered
the entire grounds
stunt riders were there that was cool
anything else about Teddy Morse
big ass dealership
a lot of bikes for sale
yeah just a ton of bikes and there's also
a big pavilion they had set up
with tables and there's food trucks
around so there was food to be had
drink to be had lots of vendors
everything you can think of got the opportunity
to meet Al and Debbie
of Stealthport
that was nice to finally
physically meet them in person
what a great product and they did really
well so
then we went around and met a lot of the other vendors
it was nice so we're going to figure out
some of our hog works who's a sponsor of us
got to hang out with them for a little bit
yeah I just kind of
experienced there we didn't stay late
we felt like we had experienced it
but definitely if you're in Daytona Bike Week
it's a must stop go up there
get a drink get you know
some food whatever lots of stuff to buy
now all the vendors
have their stuff out there
yeah and
I think after that it was time to
bug out at Teddy Morse that was really
I think this day
trikes was huge
and then
we wanted our obligations
basically after trikes King of the Baggers
trikes and then King of the Baggers
my obligations with Harley were done
and then it was that's all they
a lot of the creators actually flew out
even before the race
they I
booked Lurch and I a VRBO
for an extended stay
because we just wanted to wind down
and also just experienced some for myself
without with my own obligations
without you know obligations of Harley
I kind of met all those
and we felt like we had really seen the area
but there was one
more thing
that we kind of put off till the
last night right the shit show
the shit show
Main Street Main Street
I'll let Lurch we walked up
and down you'll see it in the video
I got a lot of shots
give me your impressions
of
yeah because let's just
put it in this perspective Main Street
is the hub of
the event everything else has
expanded over the years little history
Daytona started
basically if I
have it in here
I put it in my video right there dates back to
1937 yeah where you
seen it right there
down above the picture
this picture yeah so
Daytona bike week dates back to 1937
and today it serves as the
unofficial kickoff the writing season of course Main Street
is where people from all over the world all walks of life
come together in one packed energetic
stretch of road it's a lot to
take in it's something every writer should experience at least once
I will tell you it actually started
Daytona bike week with races
on the beach yes I have some old footage of that
in my video where they would just
literally race down on the beach in
the old bikes and it's cool to watch
and there's some quick
history clips I put in there
in my actual video I did on YouTube
but here we are so Main
Street explain the setup kind of
a visual what people if they haven't been
can expect and then your thoughts kind of it is
tight it's a two-lane road
and down
Main Street of Daytona beach
folks back their bikes up
onto the sidewalk if you will
over the curb over the curb and some
people had a little bit harder time than
others especially if they had custom
bikes with big old clown wheels on the front
which we'll get to some of the bikes and whatnot
here in a second but it is very tight
sidewalks are packed it's a lot
in a small area
it is spread out around
the Daytona beach area there's things
to do but if you
want to experience you know the crowd
and you know the
all the bikes that's where people hang out
and show off their stuff so
unlike Sturgis
Sturgis does have a Main
Street like that too but it's much wider
it doesn't feel as
multiple streets I know there's the Main
Street there's multiple streets yeah
yeah so I will say it was
I felt almost claustrophobic at times
it's just it's just a lot
in a small space
but I'll tell you what I do like about
it because
especially being from the Pacific Northwest
it's generally cold and snowy up here in February
we had a little bit warmer wetter
winter than we normally have but
what a great opportunity to get a break
from some shitty weather and get down to
Florida jump on a bike
and help get me out of that
seasonal depression you know
that we can get in up here you know
you're depressed because you can't ride into the weather
it's kind of shitty we had
normally in our area of Washington
we're in the eastern side it is
cold but it's generally sunny we don't have
a lot of clouds but this last year's
winter was kind of gray and gloomy
and almost reminded me
of the west side or the wet side
as we recall it or as we call it
so great opportunity to get down there
I think if you've never been to Daytona Bike Week
and you're thinking about it do it
make sure if you're not taking a bike
if you're going to rent one you better do that
way in advance because we looked at
grabbing a couple because we didn't have the Harleys
demo bikes all the time we had to
end up getting an Uber
not an Uber, a Turo for a couple of days
because we couldn't find any bikes to rent
we waited too long so if you're not taking bikes
and you're just going to fly down and rent
you better get on that right away
but what a great break
riding was just good for my soul
yeah yeah well said
I'll piggyback off that a little bit
and give you my take so we're not huge
event guys but we like getting to them
now and then because we like to meet the
biker community it makes sense for the business
it does make sense for our business but I'd much rather just
lay miles absolutely
because like alert said it's just
a lot of people gets claustrophobic
here's what I feel about
and I'm not putting Daytona Bike Week down
I'm just putting it perspective for my
opinion
it's fun getting out of the weather was nice
Sturgis
is a much better setup it's much
more spread out
and the beautiful thing about Sturgis
is that
there's actually good riding around Sturgis
some of the best riding around the
Black Hills so it's more than just
drinking and standing around
an event sorry
Florida Florida ends around Daytona Bike Week
you don't have great riding
you have great weather riding
but the roads are straight it's very flat
and there's no
real huge rides around Daytona
there is one route that of course
there you can go ride around
in circles
and of course riding along the ocean
is great so please don't
ride longer and treat your
ass with some respect already
get hooked up with a premium buffer seat cushion
this company of bikers developed a super thin
hospital grade seat cushion made of solid
and elastic materials
and it's unlike those gel pads
that will leak if punctured
the butt buffer is designed not to slide around in your seat
fits all motorcycles, installs in seconds
easily cleans and yep
helps to dampen vibrations
with plenty of models to choose from
they assure you'll have a comfortable ass when riding
head over to the law-abiding biker store
and check out our lineup of butt buffer seat cushions
some people get really defensive
about their state or where they live
when you come from the Pacific Northwest where we have
Rainier and St. Helens and curvy roads
more than you can even ride
it's just different so you go to places like that
so what I feel like is Daytona
bike weekend I've talked to other people about it
they asked my opinion of it they agree with me
even people from there are like you're right
it is a more of a
let's stand around, let's drink
more of a destination, more of a hangout
with bikes
and that's fine
there's nothing wrong with that
but it's not for great riding
it's for getting there
getting your bike, looking badass
getting your drink on
and it is fucking tight and packed
and they really packed it into a really smaller
I wish they would extend it out
so it could be a little more spread out
but maybe some of the allure to some people
some people like that really tight packed
it's hard to even move down the street
and you got bikes of all different kinds
of course
American maybe twin but you got sports bikes
I've kind of taken over a little bit there too
I saw some adventure bikes
adventure bikes were there
people from all as you can imagine
every career, every walk of life
cut and loose, letting it go
a lot of midlife crisis is going on there
a lot of big wheel
big front wheeled bikes
with loud paint jobs
and loud stereos
all in a live in Daytona anyways
you don't see that a lot of their bikes
big stretch fenders and bags
big show bikes
more than I've ever seen in one place in my life
that's what I mean
it's definitely a Daytona beach thing
because you go to other events
you see some of those but very few comparatively
again I think
that goes to our point is that
it's more of a bike show than an actual touring event
where Sturgis people are like
I want to go for the day
and I want to go ride all day around the Black Hills
and then we're going to go ride
you know
other areas
go to the badlands
there's so much riding
that you have more
bikes that are capable of actually riding
because you are not touring on any of the clown wheel bikes
they're definitely
for show and they're bad ass looking
so we're not putting them down
we're just putting the event in perspective
so
I like it that it kicks off the season
I like it that it kicks off king of the baggers
but yeah that's just kind of my
I enjoyed it and I'm not
I'm definitely not going to go every year unless I have business there
but it was fun
and I would go again sometime
like Lurt said it was good to get out of the
weather and at least you're on a bike
and you got the ocean and we got to spend
a few extra days just chilling
we worked on the laptops on the balcony
sat on the beach at night a little bit
and just kind of chilled out
and winded down
from the event but at least it spread out
you know you can go up to destination
Harley you got the racetrack
so at least you could ride in between things
yeah I think there's some stuff that was up
in Orman Beach we didn't get to any of that
up there but I think there's some vendors
and stuff up in that area as well
and we rode past it too that one night
we just didn't have time to experience everything
but again it's just it's more you know
food, alcohol
the kind of stuff that you kind of
expect at
biker events but all in all
I had a blast, cool experience
got to meet a lot of cool people got to do a lot of cool things
got to ride a Harley around
and got to enjoy
that warm weather for a little while
you got any other
thoughts on the Daytona
bike week lurch?
I think it you said
we're only going to go for a business I think we had to make it mandatory
that it's a winter break
we have to go
oh maybe that dude
I'm actually not against that
just for that reason alone
we can go towards the tail end of it catch the last two days
and then just relax on the beach you know what I mean
it's not a bad idea
because it was
really really nice
when we landed
I got off the plane and I could
feel that cold air right away
I'm like oh no
when we got back
we had to wait outside for the luggage because they're doing a little construction at the airport
and I waited inside
I was so adjusted to do because I had been there for
quite a few days my body was
not liking the cold weather
for sure
but yeah definitely you got to check it out you got to say you went
I'm glad we finally went
and yeah you might see us there again it's hard to say

About this episode
The hosts kick off with a chaotic mix of food splurges, store updates, and product talk—then pivot to the main event: Ryan’s trip to Daytona Bike Week with Harley Davidson. He reviews the 2026 Harley Limited while riding from South Carolina to Florida, including a Harley trike test ride featuring the new rear suspension. They also cover King of the Baggers race day, pit-lane access, and the sensory overload of Main Street. Along the way, they debate what Daytona is best at versus places like Sturgis, and share practical takeaways for riders planning a trip.
In this episode, we talk about the 2026 Harley-Davidson Limiteds. Harley clearly put a lot of thought into rider and passenger comfort on the 2026 Limited. The redesigned heated seat is one of the first things you notice. It now comes standard with heating for both rider and passenger, and Harley wisely kept physical buttons on the bike for adjusting heat levels instead of burying those controls in menus. That matters in the real world. When it's cold outside, nobody wants to scroll through screens just to warm up. The heated grips are also standard and work very well. Like the seat, they heat up quickly and get legitimately warm on higher settings.
The taller windshield worked great for me at 5'8″, allowing me to look right over the top while still getting solid wind protection. Combined with the fairing vent, it did a good job reducing head buffeting.
You also get lower fairings with storage and vents, plus fork-mounted air vents that can be adjusted while riding. I really appreciated that Harley made all of these easy to operate by feel without taking your eyes off the road.
And yes—having highway pegs standard on a serious touring motorcycle is exactly the kind of thing riders want to see.
The trunk on the 2026 Harley Limited has been redesigned, and I think Harley did a great job with it.
It looks better, flows better with the bike, and has a slightly taller design without looking boxy or awkward. Most importantly, it can now fit two helmets inside, which is a huge win for real-world touring and passenger use.
Harley didn't just make the trunk bigger for the sake of it. They clearly spent time reshaping it so it would remain sleek while becoming more functional.
That said, the integrated brake and turn signal lighting inside the trunk does take up a bit of space, so compared to my detachable trunk setup there is slightly less usable room in certain areas. Even so, fitting two helmets is a meaningful improvement.
