I would do the after our death. It's a online with mr.
Scudder, Johnson, mr. David Prince.
The father and son are dynamic. Duo, Robin?
Harley Edward Bunting and friend.
That's eating Bolognese next to him.
Alex. Hey you guys going?
Hey I'm eating Bolognese to we're both in.
In bowling allies will other Italian, Villas are just turned off because it should be. But only as a yes.
So they will they will left the chat.
How are you guys going? Girls are listening to this show
to eat. We have a big contingent I can.
I can find out for you. I told me seem to know I spoke
about this is C&C. Well, it's been a while since
we've heard mister. Prince and mr.
Bunting on the show. Mr. Prince, how is your trip
going? The chips going really well.
Thank you. Yes, we're still in Scotland,
you made, you may need subtitles my my accents Flawless now for David. But my goodness.
I still have no idea. The girl behind the counter said
that was very funny. We the biggest challenge on my
trip so far is coffee, but I think I've stumbled on the, on the ideal formula. Now, I'm not sure if I mentioned
this last time, but I have a deconstructed along black.
Now that someone called a deconstructed long black.
And I thought, yeah, that's about right.
So, it's, it's taken taking all the three and a half weeks in so far, but I think I'm on top of that.
So, we live in hope it's Very good.
You know, David, I want to test your your accent.
I've got a quote for you to read.
Oh, okay. It's a, it's a very famous
quote, from a very famous movie. It's about freedom is something
about Freedom repeat after me, I find you may die run.
And, you know, I'm gonna Burger, I'm gonna murder when you put on the spot that's far better when you're in the in the shop and it's being fired at you, but now, I was actually lying, my accent is pretty crap, but luckily, my daughter's here.
So, yeah, she's a number of times.
She's actually just interpreted for me, which has been great.
Sorry, can you use Google Translate?
Ha ha. I should try that.
I should try that seriously. Well, I'm gonna ask you like is
your daughter like kind of picked up on the on the on the accent or if you still like true blue onesie Then actually certainly picked up a bit of it, but but, but I had to go order and I said, well, what do you been here?
Five minutes? She hasn't.
She's been here, seven years now, think 80s.
But but, but no, she's with us. You don't even notice it.
But she said, I've got to talk like that, if I'm told to Scottish people, because otherwise, they don't understand me. So, the especially if their
accents, really sick. So she certainly got a, got a
Scottish twang when she's anywhere at out, you know, if we're shopping or something like that, or Cafe.
What words although we did the different.
What sort of could you give us an example of a word that she said differently? Oh she she actually puts away
into pretty much everything. You know, you know, we'll take a
wee, wee break or we'll go we'll go for a walk or will, you know, you know, will only get the weed size this time or benzes kids do Burn. Yeah.
But what do you bend Baron. Yeah, coming in yesterday
yesterday we watch the horror role in hir, is it okay?
Right, level e, that's it. That's the type of fog that
comes in off the over the water from, Over the Firth of forth into Edinburgh, it's called a har har har evidently never forget the car and there's a drink.
The weather was really bummed on murdering that to do The weather was really direct yesterday. Does that just mean crappy and
dank or something? Yeah, yeah and sort of try dry,
not really raining but pretty miserable but you can tell the tourist over here because they're the ones that she laughed at this. Yesterday we're going to be in
the car and Kevin are were standing outside the castle with their shoulders hunched. You know as the light rain fell
ya waiting to get in the car and she just loved she said you so up from a Ramsey everyone over he just doesn't care now that they're doing let's just walk around you know and get wet.
They get there. If I draw themselves off, when
they can, obviously everything is double insulated and triple insulated and stuff. But so too has the warm, but
once you get outside, it's pretty pretty cool.
But modules can be 14 today. So, that's not too bad.
We'll be happy with that and the sun's out.
So that's good. It's a heat wave.
Yeah. Well they're coming to summer so
you'd have there'd be some double figures around.
Very good. Good to see your lovely face.
Again, we'll get into some car updates.
Start with Scotty do Johnson. How are you Scott?
What's happening in your car world?
My car World. Well, I finally got the hubs for
the Subaru, because I'm going to just use the wheel bearings because they're very noisy on the front.
So take the wheel off, getting ready to take the axle nut off and on my God, I don't know how they got.
That. Axle nut took quite a lot and a
massive breaker bar with another extension, I tried to put onto it like another metal pole. Oh, that I put into the breaker
Bart, alright. Actually, bend it and the whole
bar, the breakables actually bending how to curve in it and it still wouldn't give away a Sprite it as well with WD-40.
Finally, it gave way, when I fantastic took it off, get ready to put it on and it's the wrong Hub.
Oh no. As for Gen 4 but I had to look
at double checks like where I got it from and it's got all the cars that are suitable for and it's saying it's suitable for gen3. All the be a fives and
everything doesn't matter what B5 you got, whether it's the be for auto manual. Even just the non-turbo be fives
in the wagons, meant to be all the same and the way it is, they've got on the back of the Hub.
Bob there's four bolts and all you got to do is undo those four bolts. And then that whole Hub will
come out and put back in mines, different.
Mine doesn't have those four bolts on the back, from what I can see. It's either somehow the middle
piece pulls out or I've got to remove the, the shock itself and then undo, the Lower ball joint and stuff, and take this whole piece out the whole thing out from the look of mine.
There's no four bolts behind it, like they've me.
So I'm talking to them at the moment that double-checking the car. They think that they've sent the
right one and I'm like well I think I probably know considering I just pull it apart and can see it's not there's no way it's going to fit. There's no court bolts.
There's no four bolts behind it. I can guarantee you that for me
to Mount this at all. So that's a pain in the ass, go
back together and I thought I will take a look at my wheel because I spoke to a wheel specialist and he gave me run through step by step of what to do to do it properly.
So far, apart scraped all the old silicon inside that will.
This is the wheel for that 31 for anyone following a Scrape cleaned, it all fresh new bolts that I still had left over.
So, they all went in, and all talked to the right spec in the right pattern and slowly increase the torque when I was tightening them up. So that should be all the same.
All the way around all freshness.
Look at all inside. Haven't tested it yet with hair.
So haven't done that yet. So if it does work, then if not
That Sunday was a waste of time. There are things.
Nothing was achieved on that Sunday.
Paul, what's guiding his cross? I know no good but often happens
in the car would we do? Ask them, send me a message
about the Hub and these and he's going like oh is yours the 206 kilowatt or 190 kilowatt. And I'm thinking it doesn't
matter because it's listed as it.
My car, anyway, whether it's 190 kilowatt, whether it's Auto or manual one. Hmm, each single one of those
models of the B5 is listed. So the matter what, exactly,
that's kind of, that's kind of what I said.
I said, well, having a look at your list of vehicles that it's for. You've got it there for the bees
and Bee H, which is mine was the B&E sedan and you got it listed for every single one, whether it's turbocharged, not turbo, the 2.5 liter, you've got it all list.
And as all the same and that's what it fits.
It doesn't. So either give me a refund and
I'll get it elsewhere or send me the right one.
Or I don't know. Something talk to someone that
knows. But they didn't bail burn, or in
the states or got here, pretty quick.
After double check, I might be the other side of Malcolm me.
Okay. But for double check that beer.
I got shot here. Thank you.
So I don't think it's I think it was the other side of my room and that is Mike update. Not too exciting.
Just a bit of a pain in the Much David.
Have you got any updates being a million miles away or you're all good? Oh no, I can't remember.
Did all the talk about the hunter.
A last time I was on had a driver of a Honda e-e-e.
Know you have a cool. Yeah, okay.
So my son-in-law Sean Witt was at work or two or three weeks before we came over and pulled up next to practice regular cab.
Parker work in the guy that parks.
Next one's got a A golf wagon, R, and the Lotus Elise, and, and something else. And something else.
Anyway, this data videos on delete the car parked next to him. So he went to up to the guy when
you went upstairs and sit on the Sonic bike and caspases on dirty and he casts. But he said yeah I just picked
it up. So he said, I'm a father was
coming over. He's 100 nap, you know, I feel
like he'd love to see it. So I went into MIT let my son go
for lunch and and and he's colleague in was there.
And mixing this little April was Outside.
We hope it go for a spin move and that which was really cool.
And then he pulled over and said, have a drunk.
I said, which I really wasn't expecting.
Because over here with the insurance, you've actually got to be, you can't just let anyone drive you car because they're not short, unless unless they're on the policy.
So most animals had to put shouldn't have to put a put my name on his policy so I can drive this car and pay obviously for the for the time that it's on the These sort of things, so through different, all we do it on.
But anyway, this guy was very brave and we actually drove up the top bath of seek, which is a huge, huge volcanic, sort of outcrop above Edinburgh and it's a sort of one-way roads.
I didn't get a long drive but it was enough to see the, the accelerations pretty cool. There come down.
Now, there's one that we were looking at the other night online that just over 20,000 pounds.
So it's about 38 Grand. Look until what he's getting
really interested in. Will see like the Honda re as
you probably know, they re will drive because Honda realized save going to be a city car, but the Turning circle is just nuts.
I've never been in anything other than some sort of golf buggy or something like that can.
The can almost and its own length.
Really incredible. And I mean, who doesn't love an
aquarium on your dashboard? I mean, you know, I think the
Tesla aquariums are no. Now you just get my pain and a
lot of a lot of Ikea looking would their Roblox is to the other things are nice. May not meet the man with 18
cars in the garage door. The only other we hide it.
I think, I'm not sure again. I'm not sure if I told you, we
hired a kafir bit of touring it out to the west and across the islands. We, we had a brand new
Volkswagen Caddy, which didn't break down it, which was good diesel, DSG. So, yeah, having it for a week
was better than obviously owning it.
Long-term you go anywhere, but it was right on, I didn't open the Bonnet and nothing came out, but it's interesting having that the previous shape for work at home and having the new one which is significantly different.
It's got the updated platform, so it's totally different.
But yeah, one of those cars where there's like to change, put the air conditioning on will change the change, the fan speed, you've got to go into them, into the dash, into the touch, all through the points. All through the tap screen to
find the climate and Trying to think of my God.
It's just it's complicating things, it was and it just highlighted the different so much between the old one or the new one and I just thought, yeah, that wouldn't do that.
So I won't be getting one of those anytime soon but look, it was perfect for what we did got over 50 miles to the gallon in the old language which because of its all miles and gallons over here, which I think about, I think that's about falling.
It is per hundred cases. I think I worked out pretty
good. It's it was, it was great for
the 05 and all our luggage and stuff and it did when everywhere we wanted to the roads are pretty terrible.
I mean, Melbourne roads. Pretty quite old but some of the
ones that you have particularly out in the country.
On some of the little narrow roads on the islands are pretty horrible and I've read a few reports about people having trouble and getting fat tires. And of course, rent cars.
It seems don't have spare tires. That's how we can give you with
a roadside assistance. You've got to actually pay extra
for that so I thought well I will be having that because I don't want to be stuck without a spare tire on the island and mole. And with trying to get somewhere
where we need to be the only other thing.
I've driven is Sean skier cgt which is pretty nice in a really, is it B, little hats, but after another on knows how about how nice they are. So and I think he's actually
spoke to her before he bought it.
This but it's been great for him over here and it's plenty quick enough and Zippy enough very Euro to feeling because they are built in Europe. Those ones.
Yeah it's about it. How the only other car thing
update. I did go to 100 earlier they
have a poke around. I think I mentioned to some of
you the FL five Type R. Zi sent Maddie a photo of the
beautiful Racing blue one over here, that car is equivalent.
92,000 Australian dollars. So we actually get them as a bit
of a bargain and Australia are told the deal and he looked really hurt you. Oh well you know they've got a
transport them a lot further to cut, get them to the UK not twenty thousand dollars worth of shipping of anything to - yeah 92 thousand dollars that's that's for a new Type.
R over there and you talk about yeah. 72,000 Australia.
Seventy two thousand six hundred and that's getting this good.
Yes. Okay, but the energy equivalent
of 92,000 Australian dollars, brand new at the here.
So that was surprising. It's a partisan question.
David, Ty, Parker or Hyundai, what would you go for?
What's that at that time co-ed? Why not have both you know if
you've got another bit of bank account I mean both would be perfect that the he's a bit cheaper I think while I can I'd still have the title of sole Choice.
All we're allowed to still have manual gearboxes and petrol engines personal choice because there isn't much difference between their type are in our type arrows at virtually the same car. It's it here.
I think the only difference would be, I think the over here, they've got to have a fog light on the up the rear.
So that would be incorporated into the tail light system somewhere. But yeah, they look, I mean,
they're all built in the UK now, so in Japan.
Obviously. And so, they entered the
building America, but the the cars assembly in Japan.
So yeah, there's no no, no differences.
I could see except the fact you can get the racing.
Glue that you can't in Australia, which is annoying.
Hmm, moving on, well, thanks for your updates.
David Robin, Holly, Updates with you guys, what's happening?
You got your you got your milk back back.
Yes it's all. Nice rough a sale on Casa you
selling it. Yeah it's all nice and clean our
castles say just say forget you know price put up for and then my friend come around today. He's alright.
Before you 2014. Alright, so if you're driving
that thing and pretty much it for me, or went out to the garage, Hello Kitty cows too cold for the garage door, went back inside. Took Jimmy in for its first
inspection after I think is a thousand cases, it kilometers.
So took me about an hour to drive up to Burwood from Kiel and they took him about 50. Let's have a look at the car and
then another hours drive. Huh, probably should have taken
as the zucchini. Look, I'll take it back to them
apart from that. There's a lot of things on my
list to tick off to do on various cars, but it's motivation. Yeah, or lack thereof.
I'm going to come around on that.
One of them out this week. Rob, don't worry, I'll be there,
I'll be there. You need to get motivated.
Yes, yes. So, I'll figure out a way to do
that mr. Bunting, hello.
We do we get to last time I have sold the Volkswagen multi van.
Hey But I can probably say this. Now that bucket of shit is out
of my life. He about.
And no one should ever buy anything of that.
Ilk, it ended up. Could it can, I can I just can't
just claim to be a good bonding or second look like v?
He's but if I had to buy one and then you know what, I always say that make a good vein or what happened?
Edward what happened? I'm at their Medicaid van Dai.
Yes, what's know basically? And I can tell the story now in
full eat consumed, a lot of oil. And when I'm say a lot like a
lot of oil, but it wasn't leaking bottom, and it wasn't blowing out the smoke. It was just using the oiled so
much so that, you know, from the full mark on the dipstick to the low, mark on the dipstick, you know, 500 ches, you know, and it's and it's chewed through its entire sort of dipstick full.
Now, there's still oil in the sump, it's quite a big sump, but like it's not like the motors out of oil at that.
But you know I sort of thought it can't be using that much only discovered this by driving around a little bit and I'd actually sold it. You know as I said and I told
her, you know, one option is to fit, shut up about it and continue on with the sale, but I wasn't comfortable with that.
And so I said to the ball, he's your deposit back.
I need to, I told him what had happened.
I feel like I need to investigate this and yeah, when I ran some measurements and sort of drove around for another, You know, 600k or whatever it bang, oil, light back on, I rang the box, he got the service. Didn't said, there's got to be
something else going on with this car.
Like, it's got to be a turbo oil feed or it's got to be doing something a PCV valve, what like has got to be some reason.
It's consuming this amount of oil and he said, look, I can investigate it, I can go down the road if, you know, checking this and this and this and this. But all of those things that I
mentioned, he said they won't make that much difference to that, you know, if it's using that much it's In oil burner and just get rid of it. So that's all done through the
options, whoever bought it has got it cheap enough that you know, if they need to do anything to it, there's margin there to do that and it's great that otherwise, you know, but she's a, she's a burner anyway, that's a multi, but my Lancer and as they say, the end is Lancer, that's a cracker.
I've given that a Polish last weekend or one before, it's in at the moment, getting the rear bumper bar.
I painted it was just a bit chippy from loading things in and out, I've given the interior good scrubbing.
It's had a timing belt oil filter change.
What else to have new tires on it?
It's driving really well, it's a cracking car.
There's no, squeaks is, no, rattles of goes over speed humps, nicely at Zippy being a little 2.4 Magnum, motor sort of
in the Lancer. And that was the last week or so
ago. How about you after for this
should Lancer? I'm gonna ask on Road Drive
Away, including like stamped, you didn't whatever, and read Joe. That'll be.
I'm going to ask eight and a half for that Co.
Okay. We choose You know, maybe the
higher end of lances but 102,000 k on it, like where do you where do you get there? Most of them are done 2253 and
they're still, they're good, they're good little cars, but I like that it's you know, Julie airbags ABS, its tow bar, it's a really spacious wagon. The seats fold pretty flat in
it. It's grunty.
It just it's a really comfy. Nice.
Nice seats in it. Like a good bolstering,
everything. It's got Cruise.
So, I recommend a Lancer wagon to someone wanting to spend the sort of, you know, not that much money on a good little Runner quite useful. Anyway.
So that's that's the only one I've got on the go at the moment. The guys, building my Renault
engine, we haven't talked about that for a while.
He's still tinkering away. I took him ahead.
He wanted the, he wanted this Springs and valve collet things for the valves. And I had a spare head in my
garage, which I took over to him on Saturday, so he He's saying, if you can use those on my head sort of thing because they're slightly just slightly older one and blah, blah blah, but but that's ticking along. I'm not in any great rush for it
because you know, I got no money so he can take his time on that the Mark or the mocha pulled the alternator off because I had the first round of stuff that was all done to the Moke.
And then I was kind of just waiting in the wings for some money to come in to do other things to it.
But in the meantime, I did take you for a spin every now, and again, the on the trade, Play. And but the alternator light
wouldn't go off with, you know, the the charge light and it isn't, it wasn't charging. So the light was accurate for
once in a British car, the light was accurate and it worked.
And so I pulled the old day off myself, being very mechanical, you know, I've just had reconditioned and I'm picking it up tomorrow lunchtime and I'll put that back in on a weekend probably. So at least that solves that
issue, meaning I can drive it to somewhere to get more stuff done to it. I don't have to put on a
trailer. The friend.
So that's where that's at. Alex has got big news though,
Alex. See ya and M6.
What's happening with those and Volvo 164 and 164.
That's great. You still in that?
Yeah, made a Resurgence. It's finally on Club reg as of
yesterday. Yeah.
Whoa. After three years of trying to
get it, roadworthy it's hot finally, finally passed.
And it's finally on the road and he said, You're very disparaging message. It was something along the lines
of who would have thought my Volvo would be on.
Club Bridge before your Moke. That's a fair point.
Oh yeah, we're gonna be applied myself.
I could have been you. But yeah it's it's remarkable
that thing pasta Roadie. I know after I start the first
time at winning for a roadie checked out more vote.
I ended up. It didn't make the Roadie test.
It died and Ida told hope with my Pajero.
It's what are? They didn't pass, it didn't
drive at the end of the road where?
Yes, anyway, I've got to say, though, the real race is now between the motor and the 31 of which car that's it.
That Michael be on the road like a fourth estate.
Scotty's dead 10 years to do this bloody thing.
There's a fighting word Scottie. That's right.
Sitting silent. I'm getting there.
I mean, that's all I say, isn't it weird to another, to a car show on Sunday? Oh, that's true.
I should talk about. I went to secure a picnic on
Sunday, Scotty, which is that, you know, one of the Japanese car shows and, you know, still wasn't there, but we missed.
Like so I didn't want to take it out.
Wasn't stopping me doing car, things or anything for that.
Better. So I dutifully drove off in the
tago to secure as did, you know, few hundred other people and it was an absolute bloodbath of moisture.
I'll say, so we were standing and inches of water all day.
My feet was soaking and there were parts of the grassland where they host it that with just uninhabitable even by even by pelicans and frogs. Anyway, I've got out in Trager,
which was my big concern because that car has no weight in the back rear wheel. Drive it spins, the wheels just
looking at wet grass that thing. And, but yeah, I got a bit of a
run up, so I got out just but it was a fun day.
Still, I met some people and, you know, had a good chat to a few people and, you know, it was bring your umbrella and wash around. It's kind of cool.
And I believe, one of our, one of our less conventional friend, did more gum boots. And, and prove that that was
probably the Choice of the day with.
Yeah. Absolutely.
It was the perfect. Perfect shoe for that.
I was lamenting not wearing Gumboot.
Yeah, yeah. So it was a bit.
Not was good. It was good day.
Now, if you now is the scam scamp's coming along Roberts coming along, isn't it? Yes.
Just very, where is it after observing life had a bit of world each happen to it? Yes, we try to get it off my bra
around a little poly remover but it is Still too big.
It looks like you have to take the exhaust system off really to get to that bully. So it's a lot more work than
first thought but is this map D or Rob the the fan belt type thing, that is a weird design. It goes on a 90 degree angle,
it's that it has over the generator.
So that there's a generator Paulie, that needs to come off.
And then as a cover plate, there comes off to change the brushes.
Right. Right, right?
It's you get to that pulley. You need to take the exhaust
pipe which runs right in front of it.
Well, that should be too. What would it all happens at
all. Oh, who's got the tool David?
What? So we got the bolt out so the
boat was the it was actually quite easy in the end.
We just you know got a got quite a large.
What do you like? And like I just like a quality
grapes I think it was or just hold it and then just cracked it off and it cracked off a tractor pull it with a little bit of force, but came in there like We need a plea for this.
So yeah, we're going to have to sort that out at some point but that's right. The rest of the main thing to
get me to get me through right now but but that's that.
Well, so let us write down on cars.
I'm really done much to be honest with you.
This last few a lot this last week just had a whole bunch more idiots message me about the all today and I'm just flat out saying this to saying yep come look at it and then I get no response. So So I'm pretty much can't we
can we confirm or deny that that your MR2 is the one that's being used in the Australia's representation at Eurovision.
This year, I was just about to say that.
I officially own the coolest car in the world is have any of your cars been in Eurovision? I don't know.
I haven't seen all of your revision.
Has been in the clip. Which car is 76.
And it was a band and Australian band called weddings parties.
Anything. Yeah, I remember them and our,
my car was in the background in that video clip you actual car.
That's cool. We're in it.
No. What song was it?
What song was it something guy? What was it?
Was one of the big ones. I'm thinking I'm gonna just
Google them. It's been a long time, just 30
years ago, but but well anyway, no step in step out.
I'll find it in a second. I'll tell ya.
Well there's day Monday is expert.
That's the one that back back Father's Day.
I was like Well this day. Alright so the band flew, my car
over to Eurovision land and therefore no using or you know and eventually the magically cut two holes in the roof to make it a t-bar now. So it's, it's ya know what I saw
that I was like this is the best day of my life like this.
Just put, it's just personifies that.
That to Mike one mr2s. Aw Levin's are the coolest car
in the world end of story Eurovision.
So enough said enough said my she going to drive it.
Maybe tomorrow, Thursday, for the rest of the week because the accelerate mom wants to take out so she's taken that out and that is pretty much it on my end with card.
I don't have the laser service on Friday.
It was it did 10,000. Is really quickly this year so
with I'm sorry but you need to be more specific which lines uh sorry. Yeah I can I do that.
Yeah. Yeah, the my legs of the SR22 be
exact the o.j., direct the IG and so that will get get that
did get some love and looking at options to paint it and stuff in the not in a little bit. A distant future.
So we'll get to that at some point.
But anyway, moving on to tonight's topic is I gave you guys the challenge, $7500. All this, find the most obscure
car for sale at the moment. Now obscure is in weird and
wonderful something that you don't see every day.
So it can't be your standard, you know, Civic Falcon.
Don't come at all basic like Toyota Camry there.
It has to be something very obscure.
Something differently though. It's like hey I'm to one of
those in a long time. Although that's very weird.
So now mr. Prince honoree how you're going
to work it on your end? Are you going to take it?
That was tricky? Are you going to say?
Well, these are cars from from, from my part of the world where you currently are or are you going to just jump on car sales?
Well, that's what I ended up doing.
I did a bit of a bit of a look around.
I mean, there's so many the Obscure and bizarre things, so it's 7.5. Grands, what that's about that
4,000 Aussie dollars. Mmm.
No, it's about 4,000 pounds. So he said and a half thousand
Australian bread 4,000 pounds. So, anything, under 4,000 pounds
over here, sort of resembles swiss cheese.
It seems the, the climate is very unfriendly.
Casting casting a little bit of The Wider down south.
Sean sent me is often feel around with the old look near the old stuff, but he sent me a photo the other day at work.
I could play said for a Rover, 400 station wagon, which is basically a hundred concerto station wagon, which I've never even knew existed. So that that was that was pretty
cool. That was a thousand pounds but
that's right down the other end of the UK where they don't get as much snow. Or salting the roads.
So I mean they sort of the people down south but not so I actually went on castles, but the most obscure thing I can across with a quick look catching by my, my search history. There's a manual w202 for sale
for seven and a half Grand at the moment.
So David are you able to share that with us because we are you on your phone? It's a bit tricky because I'm
actually just doing it on my phone.
Okay? My fun little little tricky bit.
If you said spent w202, c180 it's actually a 180 but it looks like a sport. It's got its color-coded, a bit
Scott monoblocks, on it and things like that 300,000 cases though but definitely a manual c180 I wouldn't have didn't know they sold them in a manual in Australia.
Yeah they did. They did okay the okay.
That would be a red thing that was sort of a bit of a special order their rear and they also did them in the W 2003 the The peanut? I shape C-Class.
You could get mad. Yeah.
Yeah. Very, very good.
Have you ever driven a 20 to manual?
I haven't. But the manual benzes.
I had a 2001 manual and then know you're saying they're not nice manuals. You know it's not like a Honda
Sleek beautiful. Silky gearbox their clunky and
rubbery and they don't seek the motors.
You know the gearing was always too long legged you know, this kid for Autobahn useful. So I'm Pretty sure that a 2002
and 201 and 203 or all get two or three be better because it was compressor, you know, so they had to be more to them.
But the 2001 in the 2002 is a manual.
Just it just wouldn't suit. It went did didn't suit the
2001. Certainly, I remember about 10
years ago, I was at a car park and I was post-op down my car and I was parked next to her two or three and, you know, close the door and glanced inside and it was a manual.
And I freaked out, I was like, holy crap.
I have not seen a manual to hit three ever so they are out there. They do exist exist.
Yeah, in that price range. So I picked up a couple of
classic magazines over here and everything's just hideously Christ. I mean anything there's a 97
MX-5 over here for 18,000 Pounds.
So that's a good about that. Why is that surprising?
I'd 16,000 miles from New, you know?
That'll do it live but yeah. Everything's just not so many
thing. Old voxi like Campers or
anything. Like that they crazy but what
are cheap and I thought of you enter the compressor sok compresses the early cars. Yeah.
A lot of those over here Emmanuel you know far more than he would have far more medals than all those in most things actually. Yeah it is pretty cool.
Cool about the stuff over here already.
You know, a lot of the residential stuffs.
Yeah. Manual to you know you've really
got to sort of ask for an auto loan, he's such a great kid.
Nothing. It's just exactly.
Exactly. I mean, now, that's the case
here. We're so lazy and just want big
fat Autos, the sort of the funny thing.
I was told that to him about it yesterday, my mother-in-law's, got a very good friend over in Melbourne, who's Scottish.
She was born in Glasgow, she's 92 and she still drives her manual. Diesel golf.
Every day is that an old 70s colourful, like a newer go, no, no better, no, That sort of venture that she bought it new and yeah, she's only ever driven a manual cars.
Yes. Oh, this is so you write this.
It totally cultural, and we, it's this nearly everything over here is still available as a as a manual, except the exit, when I saw the hundred, nearly has been all the the new Honda hybrids are all. Autos it back.
It can't get the manual in the new civics or HIV.
He's over here now, so Also see how these for that matter, their own hybrid over here. So tell us about your 2002.
So it's every 500 bucks c180 manual to definitely k. 300
Kay's. Go through its anthracite said
the dark color, but with the aims team on a block wheels on it. So when I first saw it, I
thought it's a sport but no, I mean, you've you look inside, it's got the wood trim. Rather than that carbon fiber
look treatment, that sort of thing.
So, padded leather and stuff quite tidy.
But, yes and a half I thought, well, that's not cheap.
Root 2 over 2. There's plenty around the four
and five marks still, but Recommend also.
Well, that's an interesting spin on the same page.
There was a 2009 Chrysler Sebring convertible?
Yeah, that give me one more. Yeah, I thought you would.
I said you were looking for up skewer.
So that's pretty obscure. That is very obvious 4K.
They were Miserables. Actually, I know it's solutely
miserable. If it'd be fascinating to see if
he's got any any, if they've got any interest in it at all.
What sort of person would? Why isn't that?
Could be a good buy. Look at that 4,000 cows for 2009
convertible, but it's a Chrysler Sebring.
It looks absolutely idiots and it's yeah, horrendous car.
Scotty, you can show your screen if you want.
All righty, I didn't really have too long in searching, so that's probably not really obscure but, you know, I was putting a lot of effort into tonight's queasy quiz.
Mmm, that's too busy doing that but Can we see that we can?
I saw this car or the diesel? These are the distal I'll just
quickly. Glancing having looked as a set
of didn't have too long the spend to search and then I have some reason I'm staying with him.
Is that? He's from last time, I'm gone a
little bit bigger. I've moved away from the C-Class
and we class. This is 2001 Mercedes E-Class.
So 8270 and It is the diesel. So it's got the 5-cylinder turbo
diesel, which can't really go wrong with.
I mean, it's only got 191,000 case on it.
That's nothing. So, I've got plenty left in it,
which is actually pretty low for something that's 2001, so it's not as bad. It's actually pretty clean.
I mean if you into that interior, I mean it's like creamy. Yeah.
Caramel under of interior actually, it's pretty clean.
In, like, it's not that quite well.
I would expect it to look way dirtier than it does, but I can see that they've really looked after this car.
Lori like everything. They caught hard wearing those
bends Interiors. Remember their taxis back home,
you know. Yeah, shoe in the engine bay.
Looks really, really clean for what it is.
I got some mats in the back and some can see they got it from Silver Star Doncaster. Laughs.
Yeah. And whole bunch of Lino, logbook
and everything in there too. So, that is my pick.
I'm not sure. Exactly.
Oh is, it doesn't have to be weird.
It's like, you are obscure because I know it's not really obscure, it's the best I could find as I said, I was kind of spending a bit more time. It's medium, you are medium,
it's medium. Don't see too many of the diesel
ones. I thought I don't see many of
the diesel ones pop up. So You know, I thought I'd just
throw down on the anyway. I've got a newfound respect for
a 210 you know after after we you know, after Edwards had one.
So no I didn't then I was like, oh no I did.
I had that silverware? Well yeah.
No I bought and sold that trophy really well and drive really well have three if that's really great.
That's right at the moment. I am G 1836 am GE for 13.
A321 getting 430 as well, and that's the reason one of the A320. Yeah, yeah, I forgot you had me
for 30. I don't think I knew about that.
Yeah, that is all W tens. All in silver, you are a sick
sick really quick release. I have just again, not done my
homework soon enough, but I've just chosen a, I've never seen one of these and I doubt it's factory bit sort of looks Factory 1976 Mazda 121, which is your big Coupe. 121 not your one
second. Yeah, I saw that.
It's a, it's a convertible and it looks Factory.
Because of the way the the thought you know the ballot will it was a BMW be a bow, like a camera like situation looks.
Yeah. So I'm like and you guys might
remember David and Rob, maybe, but is that a factory thing?
I've never seen a factory cab. It might well, be the Landau
roof version. That was easy.
It would have been easy to cut. No God.
He's good. That it's sort of looks correct.
But maybe not. Anyway, I've never seen work so
I thought I'd never see me. Ask you, it's five thousand
dollars. It needs a bit of work, but it
is a convertible, 70s one to one piece of rareness.
Mmm and it's in CT. Should you want to go and get
it? Tracy, T.
Yeah. Okay.
A David Canberra? Yeah, no good for cars.
Good for cameras camera. Turaga came from Canberra in.
Indeed, good climate, good roads.
We like cambric are and dare. I say a conservative type of
person used usually but then has a Mazda with a convertible.
Many 1211 in the industry or the fireworks industry.
The chances are the cars. Okay.
Yes Robin Holly. Which one would cause did you
guys get for this? I'll send it to you and chat and
also I'm sure it's a mistake. Is but a different type of
Mercedes. Hey I want to share my screen
gentleman. No.
All right, this is good drumroll.
Whoa, this DC just stuck in with the budget.
You five dollars out of those hundred fifty five thousand kilometers. Oh we know someone that's got
one. Do we date a prince?
What can we do? I could, I could hook you up
with one of those. Those, if you'd really like one
house, it's very obscure. So this is, so what is it
houses? A 2005, smart forfour.
Yeah, so it's the whole division of a smart car.
Is it's good? I just really, it's good.
Actually Mitsubishi Mercedes developed engine.
Yeah, yeah. So yeah, 6-speed order and
they're really some obscure things like that.
The brake discs that shared with a cult and things like that.
Quite a bit of are quite a bit of crossover. as far as the B go
that came to 1.3 or 1.5 and mostly plastic all those, hang
on parts are plastic, obviously, even the roof panel is plastic in them, hands down, probably one of the worst house I've ever driven, who really it's got, its got the one smart do really weird gearboxes and it's got this sort of Eating stew, automatic mode, that sort of retards, the process of the car and changes again, just do nothing about it.
Makes sense. The Brabus addition, however,
came as a for manual, that Will was a far nice little thing.
I think your data that of your cool thing to known, but I think that'll be a bit more than this, just put it.
This is got a yes. Okay, so to put up a car playing
it it's available for viewing it in North Fitzroy.
All the Mornington Peninsula. Serious buyers early.
Yeah, they like to do a bit Highway running in the little smart forfour. Obviously, you know, if it's Roy
to Mornington that thing hasn't been up on blocks.
All right, so what do we got? We got the small for for, we've
got the diesel to 10. We've got a 2002 manual Edwards,
you view your car, or your the, those are what was the level with the 141 Alex? Yeah, I'm getting tired now.
Alex your car? Yes.
So I found one which is a lot of neither 47.
Huh. Harry not.
I thought you'd like a high wall and I've taken to them what all the kids doing. No word of a lie, it would have
liked the. It was the cabriole.
I can't. Neighbors were true.
So, just make sure when you buy one Alex, make sure you put a was the polarizer. It, you know, the energy
polarizer. Yeah.
I need one of those mint jelly from the supermarket and a few fridge magnets and put them in a lunchbox.
You sort of got the same thing. Yeah.
You know, I was a guy and he had a of some description and I had I had a the polarizer box in any way he took it into, to get some to get some work done to to his to his friend at, or more people in the car, was there for a while he goes in and goes in a to pick it up. And he drops at home and looks
at the bottom Wherever the wherever the the box was, and it was amazing. And he's like, he's like, he's
like, Matt, you took my energy polarizer.
He's like, no, I didn't. He's like, my it was on the car
when I gave it to you. I like, like, like you taking
the piss now, where is it? These are getting, take it.
Anyway, like, bit of a fight ensued.
Not not punching on, but like, you know, not ideal.
Nice words, we used is obscured. I was by another 12 to fill the
hole. He says, I cannot does nothing
but it did, there's a spot for it.
So I want to put it there, Chumps online and like they're over. Like I think you said three
grand Ed, it is like he's like he's like, he's like this is, this is the joke is he's like I might as well make one out of cardboard and just stick it in there.
He's gonna pay the three red, but he's like, I guess that's what people pay for, when they when they want one.
So, it seems like every time I take my key and up, buying one is over time. I take my painting, I take the
energy polarizer out. Just like put it aside so
nobody, no, nobody can make it. That's Behavior.
Now I had a few cars but I've chosen my my rule obscure one.
Now who likes small, The Japanese cars.
I do hands. Yes.
Yes. I think even Rob's coming around
to this Camp as much as he has much as he despises it currently. So what I have is a 1982
Daihatsu handi-van. Mmm, nice.
I saw that I liked them. So this is a really cool funky.
Little cart actually looks really tidy.
The Plastics all, look pretty. Be good.
So there's six 990 and it's kind of like tofu fujiwara Speck on the side with the with the Japanese writing and I'll just pretend that says, like really fast in Japanese, but I don't really know, but it actually looks really tired.
I mean, it's the other paints a bit how you're going but again it is stop it Tina. It's got patina but it's it's
all there. So the back end it's a been
really to handi-van as as I say but it's not really rotted.
Anything, it actually looks really tati.
The, you know, the, the carpets good.
I mean, he's got C covers on it, but I'm assuming the seats of trash on the Neath, but it's look, it looks pretty.
Pretty, damn, original. And pretty damn clean so much
worth. Oh yeah.
I've seen us in. Like, I've seen ones that are
like virtually falling apart. So neither roof line up, but
that's an easy. That's an easy.
That's an easy job. Yeah.
Oh, he's got a good picture of this.
I don't see this turning you this far, but yeah, the seats look, okay, they're not perfect, but it looks like it's got a fresh battery in there. So, and it looks like it's been
well loved this car. So I think I think there might
have had it as a has a, like, a muscle called promotional van for this for this price. But it's got a 550 cc
two-cylinder engine. So, slightly bigger than the
engineering, my Scamp. So it's basically yeah really
nice little original car and I quite a quite.
I've had a quite cute. My other option was this?
I'm just coming back in a moment.
When it decides to load should be nice 85 Hilux, in green to match. My Fiesta at 7,500 dollars and
my last option was a white lightning or not.
There's a cure. Yeah, with for it. 2,000 cases,
but two owners since new and it's been well look, I saw that I love like that. Yeah, so the wide lighting is
very rare that I think the W want to 500 made an old guy that had one. They've got to go, do you want
to see the inside of that car? Is that any good?
Yeah, it's actually really good. It's very original original.
It's got the original CD. Let's original tape, tape deck
like Miami to. So I'll go through it all, and
it's a bit of love. But it's, it's all good.
As you'll see the photos as we go through it.
It the wheels probably do with a refurb because because they're not as white as they should be, but as you go through the high mileage, Toyota I love. So, so for those playing at
home, he's got the three as GE so which is the looks to be the original motor in there. It's just had a whole bunch of
work done to had the rocker cover gasket done excetera, but no cut no Cuts in the parcel shelf.
The boot looks really clean, interior looks spotless.
So I was really impressed with the actual interior of this car so I, I would have said this but it's got documents and documents and documents. And I said, aren't Belasco, 15
years and the previous owner was like 20 years.
So I'm liking that very much so, and that's also 7,500 bucks.
So basically, it's got tongue, got has been replaced and engine and this engine, and drivetrain is another 150,000 case of life after that was been the. So that's also mean done.
So basically yeah, really, really cool.
Cool. Little car for 7,500 bucks.
And I think that's that'll be that'll be really good.
I don't like how they put the time limit on it like it's got another 150,000 case of life. Would Michael more than that my
dominions in time in terms of the time balloting you anything.
You were saying sir okay? Time ago recently had valve
covers, Kim seals, new gaskets, new shocks, new brake pads.
So a really Way to get into a Japanese sports car, but that's my on voting for that mom. Lets them.
I can't, because the handi-van, I thought there was some options, but my cousin he being so.
So let's run through them. We got the handi-van, we've got
diesel to 10, we've got the manual 2002, we have got the Mazda 121 convertible but not not the convertible.
I think of We've also got Alex's smart forfour and it's a lot of and Robin Harley's, smart forfour, and my little handyman.
Where is your money going? If you had $75, which I don't
have, where his your money going and what would you be buying?
Scotty do, that's a lot to choose from this time around.
It actually hard because it did some did some really good cars in this in this in this in this pic.
I am going to go with yours this time Maddie.
Okay, why There's just something cute about it.
I've noticed there's something but supposedly the things to be delivered. That's what by and it spoke to
me and saying you even if you put up the White Lightning one, I would have got that one. Okay.
Alright, very good. David So, we can't go for the
white lightning and for just chose the White Lightning out of wanted this point, but I think I've gone for the the Hailey van because it's cool. Okay.
Yeah. I've driven here divans and and
and your underwear better thing with the Scamp.
I've got to tell you, okay? I'll go gather learn other than
either what experience a bit of glass lost There you go, one Vote Alex, one vote to the handi-van, very good Rob and even handi-van straight off the bat handi-van and Holly.
I've probably go for like I look at 2:10 say like squeeze like these'll safe. Nice Del W.
Million miles like million kilometers.
I car. Yeah.
You got the whole set, you can go buy, it will paint it silver and yeah. And Practice my rapping skills,
he brings her haha. It's so one to ten one hand,
even though to handi-van one Lada Niva it would bunting I'm a bit torn. Okay, Natalie Imbruglia, just
pick one up. Just pick a card.
I think, I think I'm going to go the ladder.
It's so intriguing and simple and I sort of like the idea of it. Offroad.
Ha ha and it's very unattractive car trick this careers, but Brock enhanced remember broken hand stand along.
Now, I was a plain Jane Alex, I'm gonna go buy these two as well. So two for the diesel, to for
the Neva to, for the handy, And yeah, I'll and I wasn't going to pick the handyman, but I feel like I should deal.
I kind of like the Lada Niva are to be honest with you.
Sir, I'm going to pick the Lada Niva.
Whoa. The ladder is well lat well,
Donna likes, you get the win and yeah, I suppose, I'd better go ahead and buy it now. That's for sure.
So well done, mate absorbs with a quick.
I've a videos, you can have any of you guys actually driven a lot of never never. No.
Never never never. I've given a couple of like just
work-wise. I've moved them around and stuff
I mean we're very agricultural from memory.
I'm like that bit did break down like the other Nikki that I've ever driven broke down on the test drive.
So He said it, hilarious. Did you put it in h and then and
a way through that again? Well, it's hard for the car
Quiznos. Scotty introduce this new format
of the car quiz last week and I think it was quite quite clever.
So Scotty introduced the discarded.
Scotty's version of the car quiz introduce the rules and how it works. And then basically, we'll, we'll
get into the Talk was before the show finished.
All right, so this car quiz last week, it was all about car movies. This time.
It's a bit of a mix. So it's got some cars.
And also car movie is some sort of mix-up a bit, but the way this quiz works is each question.
You can get a maximum of three points.
So, I'll give you a question and that first one will give with three points. If you can't get that
three-point question, and you've had a go at three points.
It's, you have to wait and you can't try and back in until the one point and it gets easier and easier.
Three-point starts hard, then you got two points with the little bit more extra on hints towards what it might be and then you move into the one point where you can try and have a punt on that one. If you have a go dry, the two
point, If you have a go during the two points and you get it wrong, that's okay. You're still in it for the one
point. It's just the three points that
three-point. You don't get it.
You know, the answer. High risk.
High reward. It would hire Scarborough would
not be trying to answer straight away.
Is that actually? I should try one.
Yeah, it's up to you. It's going to take it on
straight away then when I go to the two points and you know, it too bad. You have to wait until I get to
the one question. So I either answer it.
Three points or one point, correct?
What if you don't try, if you don't try for the three point you can go for the to point to point or other one.
Well, the one point, if I try for the to, can I go for the to but then I'm out. Let me if you go for the two to
get along, get it wrong. You can still go for the one
that's fine. All right, if I tried to try the
three? I can't just go for the to got
to wait till the one. Yeah, because it's higher.
His carotid was very confused. So it is a little bit but it all
makes sense when you stop paying it prior, Alrighty, so, let's get into this. This first one is a car, it is
not a movie, okay? Okay.
So for three points, I was first released in 1998 and and sold around the world. I mean, it's not narrowing, it
down, is it? We have some of them, some of
them, I've kind of mixed It up a little bit.
Wet three points can be gettable, but to start your client 13 points for that. Get over 90 a sold everywhere.
He 4600 Alex, is having a three-point crack.
Is that an official guess Alex? Yes, you got to say, Alex, Alex?
A 46-inch, wz, 46, threesomes, no unfortunately wrong.
Okay, yeah, yeah, you can't do the two pointer.
Up two points, I am currently in my fourth generation currently in my fourth generation and I am owned by an American.
Company don't know, I was going to say Prius but when you said American company I was like oh no it's not.
Hmm. Snack, let's generation.
Is this all, is this audio? That's good.
You said it's a rather well but it actually sold here and it's sad. Okay, sit, right.
Definitely solving your What kind of K looking out the window? Yep.
Yep. Okay.
It it Jeep. No, not a jape unfortunately.
Hmm, you took great because you'll always be specific model or a remarkable range or model. Okay?
Okay. Yep.
Now, I've got no idea for one point I am made by Ford.
Mmm, stay with you. David.
Oh, Is it the Ford Explorer or not?
The Ford Explorer? Unfortunately.
Matthew Matthew stop Ford Escape.
Oh, not the skating. Geez, I hope I got these Clues.
Correct. Yeah if not I'll just make it
nine questions. Ha ha.
Ha solid want to have a crack? Around the world.
Hold, please. What is it again?
So came out 1998. It's in his fourth generation
made by Ford what Ford came out 1998 was sold around the world.
Ford Taurus. Oh, I know what it is.
I know I but I'm Albert unfortunately sorry.
I know what it is but yeah. Yeah, everybody else have a
guest that and I'll guess for, like know, Ford Focus.
Yeah. Spot on.
It was a Ford Focus. Well Doug.
I woke up was really hard Scott, so like this hard.
So you get that point because you didn't get something on the one, right? Yeah.
That was my own. Oh, I know.
I guessed on the to. That's right.
Yeah. So you get the 11.2 David time.
Is it in Scotland, David? It is must be available after
just after a little bit, however, many minutes after hated it's over there. It's after 11:00 in the morning
too bad. It's all right.
It's amicable nine hours behind will see everyone else.
What are they doing? I think Kevin ever gone for a
walk Sean's at work. So as to himself as to myself,
laughing, nice. All right, question to.
This is another car. All right.
So, for three points, I was first released in 1972.
In Japan. Ed, Ed Honda Civic.
Oh, well, done three points to work.
Yeah. LOL done.
It gets three there. Well done.
Yes, high-risk my reward. Yes.
The next one is I'm into my eleventh generation that was for too long ago. That's a giveaway.
Yeah, but one point, I am a popular car that came in a hatchback, sedan and Coupe A's and wagons mmm.
A movie Bill Harper movie, featuring car or something.
Rex it will have something to do for Cars.
And Cars will be main part of its or something like that.
Yes, so, this is 43 points. I'm a 1971 movie directed by
Steven Spielberg. David David?
Was a Christine, not Christine. Sorry.
Ed Ed. I can I still guess 43 points.
Yes, you can. Yeah, the cars that 8 Paris.
No, it's not. That was Peter Weir.
Yeah, well, whatever, only two people that can or three people that can have a practice to point part.
So, for two points, then Anchoring this movie is a Plymouth Valiant sedan. Mmm.
It's nothing special. But it's not a part of that car.
Anything just a Plymouth Valiant sedan.
So 1971 Plymouth Valiant sedan just is the great.
Yeah. Directed by Steven Spielberg?
I honestly don't know. No, yeah, no.
I'm out for that one. So I guess Rob, Yep, is it the
jewel? Yeah.
Yes follow good work. Remember to carve it?
Yeah it was touch and go. Yeah, good on.
Ya, the scorching one point it was going to be for one point is going to be features, a tanker truck trying to run them off the road. Hmm, score check David one,
Edward 36, robbed on to Alex and myself, yet to score A pound.
Mmm, question. Number four.
This is another movie. I'm pretty sure I put in more
movies and cars for. That's all right.
This is 43 points. This movie was released in 29 in
and based on a true story. Wait, Scott, you you blanked out
there, could you repeat the question?
I did, I do. Okay, so for three points, the
movie, this movie was released released in 2019 and is based on a true story. Right.
I had Rob first Gran, Torino No, it's not.
Ed board versus Ferrari. Correct good good in Torino was
a good film that I was cleaning Eastwood.
I was clinics room. That was cool.
By was older that that's sort of six, seven years.
Maybe eight years now. Yeah.
That already geez. Yeah.
Right, but 50k question, 5 is back to us.
So for three points, I went into production in 97 and finish my run before a new model came out in 2006 I am German Hmm, 97 the 2006. Ali Ali as there are dtt.
No not an Audi, TT, TT unfortunately, mmm.
No no no sorry Alex yes, Alex 996 911.
No it's not. That's what I was thinking.
Alex here, we jumped two points. Yes.
Okay for two points, I came with a 1.6 or a 2 liter or even a 3.2
and I had diesel variants into L and the two point nine.
And three Matthew, Matthew. 97, e.g. 46, BMW from racked.
Whoa would get was it was a 56. We never got the closet can also
came out like right at the end of 97, the kit will they still correct me if I'm wrong Edward, but they still sold.
E36 has a little bit later. Right.
Yeah, very 46. SE. 36 is a little bit like Akin
to the E46 is run like what they always did because the camera lay versions and the wagon versions if they ever came here they were, they were always not on the same schedule.
Exactly. As the sedan's.
So, like when E90 came out in 2005, here they were still selling. Equality six, coupé and
Cabriolet asthma still the current three series before the new coupé Cabriolet. Okay, I'm out.
So convertible. I should say.
So there's always a bit of an overlap in Mercedes with the same at the wagon versions were quite on the same timeline as sedans. Interesting.
Hmm. Alrighty, let's jump into
question number 6, and we're back to movies again.
Booties moving slower piece. Here we go for three points.
This movie was released in 1971 and directed by Richard C sarafian. I don't want to run his last
name but that's how I read it. So which is Scotty 1971, the
only one. Yeah.
Matthew Matthew, the original Gone in 60 Seconds.
No unfortunately good guess though because I think it came out around about then maybe a little bit later and what it was like because I was trying think it was a Mac one must thing.
They used like an early early 70s Mach 1 and I was like, well I might have been too early for that.
But anyway, guess break contracts, by the way.
Oh yeah, goes on for ages. That catches brilliant.
It it would not bullet. I'm afraid.
All right, let's move to two points. the Stark car in this
movie is a 1970 Dodge, Challenger 440 Magnum and It is super charged. Holly Holly making Point.
Yeah, vanishing point, well done.
But school, check gentleman myself on to Robert Holley on for Edward on six. David on one Alex, yet, the
score still anybody's game on Alex, if you haven't seen vanishing point. Alright, we're back to a car.
This time, not a movie 43 points.
I only lasted three generations and I was first released in 1999. Mmm.
Edge. It that's wrong.
Oh, maybe didn't Holden Vectra. No, that was two generations.
Bunting two generations. Think it's just a stead I'm a
vector quantity. Actually, that's not the answer
to any question on question. No, one ever asks.
I'm just trying to think if this car began in 99 but like the kind of thinking of It did go to three generations so I'm gonna have a punt. Is that the Audi TT?
No. Still going, I'm not sure.
About next. Okay. 42 points.
Everyone's in because I just had a look, it is three generations, but it's a bit of a trick question.
So I'm going to its kind of too but not three.
I'll explain at the end but I'll let everyone back in.
All right, so my apology. I'll explain it.
I so this is 42 points. Everyone's in.
Hi, I'm a hybrid electric car. Ed.
Ed 400. Yalta.
Prius. No, not the prettiest Matthew.
Matthew, Matthew, Matthew, Matthew, Matthew, Matthew, that'll be the Honda Insight. Yes, the Honda Insight.
So, we know there was two years ago, three questions.
Yes. Because there was a Honda
Insight prototype and that debuted in 2018, which was like the third generation. And yes, oh my apologies on that
bit. So the kind of was but not at
the same time. Yes.
My apologies on that one. That's file.
Everyone. Back in for, for that last one.
If we give us a clue, good, yes. Sorry about that.
Question 8 is also another car. So for three points, I began my
life in 1994 and has just released my sixth generation model in India which is called the Verner.
Not. No idea.
How many generations Scotty seeks into a six now?
And this sixth one. Pretty much only just released
in India and they call it the Verner is, it only is it only available in India or is it available around the world just out of curiosity? What was the originally
available everywhere? Yes, except India have just
continued with it and they've always called it the Verner.
Okay, I'll have a punk. Is it a Suzuki?
Not a Suzuki? No.
Okay. Okay.
I'm gonna hang out with the to and I met you guys.
Yeah. Points.
I am built in. South Korea, are you?
And I excel. I'll give it to you.
Yes. Oh what the Hyundai Accent that
it went by quite a few different names when it was Lord.
Oh yeah. Thank interesting.
I didn't realize you had so many names.
Especially for governor and that it's still going.
It was also called, I believe Chevrolet something and it but the the Badgers uni was so bad. It was it, it still had a
Hyundai badging on the car except I had a Chevrolet back to the bottom and then one point, oh my God.
Yeah, interested in here is incredible.
What's, it's very entertaining looking at things and realizing there's something totally different.
Alrighty, this one is our second last question.
Question number 9, and we're jumping back into movies again.
So, for three points, this movie was released in 1983 is a supernatural. Wrong movie.
Matthew. Matthew.
What is that? He's a Christine.
Yes. Yeah look at that one that that
if it said oh yeah, exactly. When you said that earlier I was
like ooh let's think he gets it when it pops up a bit score.
Score score, David one. Edward on eight robbed, on 40
million for Alex 10 and myself on seven anyone's game.
Alright, this is our last one and it's a, it's a movie to finish off question 10. For 3 points, I'm going to
action movie, that came out 2002 and later on down the track became a TV series. Mmm.
Is it action movie that turn into a into a film franchise?
So into it into a like a like a TV show.
Correct. Correct.
And the movie came out, too. I don't know.
Mom out for Dorie. Olds head.
Ed cars. No unfortunately no.
Okay, we're ready for the two points.
So 42 points, the car used in this movie was an Audi.
A8 W 12. David Matthew that David was at
the transporter Spot on correct? Yes, it did.
Turn into a TV series that was awful.
And there were several other movements to go with it too.
Yeah. They made a TV series then you
are correct. It's but no one watched.
Yeah, yeah, Alex. You're David three Rob for
myself on seven and tonight, Not a grand.
Total of eight is mr. Edward panting.
Well done, thank you so much. Well done study.
That was most interesting high risk, High reward David and that's how we hope you enjoyed it.
It was a lot as an Eatery part of risk.
Don't know about the reward. Someone saw someone fifty
dollars, I think. Yeah, that's correct.
Yeah. whenever I see my whenever I sit here,
sorry, you know, it's family comes first, you know, It can only be so many times. Similar tones for Scott and you
can break. Let me so many times, Ruck up to
a car show. I'm like, I'm here Maddie Ian,
just very you like them. Yeah, I'm down the back now, to
the front of the car show now Maddie of moves, not there.
Now my For some context you can do because what was the questions going to you? Like I guarantee no one will get
this and I got it and he was like, Buddy, Holly.
It was the one with the number plate of the Dodge Charger from Fast and Furious. Yeah.
You had many newer fire out, pretty sure.
That's what the question was. And you've got it.
I was like, there's no way so I was gonna get this for three points but I'll Chuck it in there anyway.
Yep. I was you've got to do $50 band.
I'll be expecting when I certainly see you next time.
General. I think that's fast.
We'll get some plugs before we go Rob's firefighting fabrication rust repairs electrical mechanical gardening.
What else, what else have you done?
Recently Plumbing? I mean blowing?
Yep. Yep.
Ronnie you Diamond? Yep.
Hit up a boy there. I believe David and mr.
Edward to up to a podcast. David.
You could talk about that from Scotland in Scotland.
Yes. We do a podcast called Auto
retro where we talk to people about the cars of their lives and we're looking forward to getting back into it.
Well, once I get back into the country, we shout out to Touché a big chat to DeSean and Emily for the use of their spare room as the studio for the overseas correspondent.
Hmm. Scotty golf tip of the week.
Yes, so this one's pretty straightforward, but when you're lining up to hit the ball, make sure you're standing right with your arms, don't be too out stretch and don't be too tucked into your body. That's we're going to start
slicing and drawing it. So have a look out there,
there's plenty of videos to help you address how to stand next to the golf ball and how to have your golf club out there.
I can't really explain it something you kind of need to see but yeah, if you can't slicing hooking a lot.
