show, great Saturday for Trunk and Treat, and it's gonna be a great Saturday night for our horror movie Christine. I hope you guys have it marked
on your calendar, and you guys are just excited as we are to be hanging out and having a good time. Hopefully where you guys, if you're
listening someplace other than the hamp and Rose area. You guys have great weather
as well. Man, I am absolutely excited it is. It's been a
long time coming. This event every single year is one of the biggest events
that there is for trunk and tree and for car show and everything all wrapped in a one. You definitely don't want to miss it. There's plenty of
time to get out and come hang out with us. So if you guys
are hearing this on the radio right the second, you need to go ahead and be in a car and heading to come hang out with us. That
right, guys. We got a special guest with us too, Yeah,
we do. So we have hanging out with us for today is you guys
have heard of many times a longtime listener, old man friends is hanging out with us today, so which is really really awesome. So yeah, like
I said, you guys are definitely not I don't want to miss today's show.
There's no reason to miss it, Okay. We got a lot of
events for you guys to come out and create the creepy car show today.
Like I said, then it rolls at four o'clock to six o'clock. We're
gonna roll in the Trunk and Treat, which is one of the biggest trunk and treats in the area. I think last year we put five six thousand
kids. I mean it was packed huge. Yeah the part, I mean,
yeah, the park. If you've tried to see a piece of asshole
out in the parking lot, you one hundred percent. We're having a hard
time with so many people. So another great event we're looking forward to here
for trunk and treat. And like I said, then we're gonna roll right
into the horror film Christine tonight. That's gonna be playing right Landstown. So
come on down. You can sit on the tailgate, you can watch from
your car as old drive in theater, or you can pop some chairs up, cook up some popcorn stuff, have a good time. You guys are
gonna want to hang out with us, So make sure you guys come out and have a good time with us. But I'm gonna roll into it.
Got a lot of different stuff. I know, guys. I've listened to
you guys all week long. Car news has been light h just a lot
going on in the news. Has nothing to do once, just absolutely nothing,
nothing nothing to do with car news at all. Uh So you guys
are gonna want to I don't know, stay away from your TV. And
I can't tell you that because you guys want to know what's going on.
But stay away from don't listen to the news. It's every time there's stuff
going on in the news, and there's been a lot of it. I
mean between all the different stories, you guys know what I'm talking about.
I don't get into all that stuff. I just I don't. I try
to keep my life positive with positive cool car stuff. So make sure you
turn us on every second because I don't think we're gonna hear the end of it anytime soon. But anyway, here's an interesting story so to go along
with maybe costumes and the Halloween theme. Did you guys hear about this crazy
pimp coat cowboy car hest that happened? I did not know, so I
I kid you not. This is a costume party gone wrong. I don't
know, I wrong. I don't know what it is. But look,
was it in an episode of Pimp My Ride? No, maybe it was
wrong. Like I've seen some crazy movies, right, I mean all of
us have seen some really strange especially when it comes to car I mean car movies. Were them trying to steal cars. I mean, I really thought
that there's been some really wild like car theft movies out there. But when
we start to take the movies and make them into real life, these guys like they repelled into the dealership from the roof roof. They didn't sit off
security at arms, apparently not. They repelled in. Uh, they snatched
up fifteen keys. Then they saw through the ceiling. So this this was
a train. But they did it in pimp coats and cowboy hats. This
is what makes this story. They did it in style. They're like,
hey, I got twenty dollars in my pocket. I did a thrift shot
robbery. It is. It's absolutely crazy the way that they have it set
up. But yes, they they did it in cowboy hats, I guess,
and pimp coats. I thought I was thinking like pea coats. I
thought maybe they like mistakenly said what it was. Maybe they meant like pea
coats or maybe like I'll say, like long coats. But they in the
article it says pimp coats. And when I'm looking at there's a video of
it. You guys can go look at classify as like all furry. It
looked the coats look really weird like they they are their bulky No, they almost look like looks like they're long. It's hard because it's a little grainy,
but they almost look like they're long furry coats. They literally did look
like they're like a long furry like pimp coat. I mean it, go
look at the video. It's this is the oddest thing. I was like,
this has got to be like stage like for me. But then I
started thinking, are people trying to outdo each other? Like, you know,
there's been a lot of robberies. They've like they've gone, they've robbed
dealerships. We've seen crazy dealerships. They've gone and done GTA and robbed the
manufacturers where they have been inside the fenced in area and they drove over the guard gates and got us a lot. So they've done all these things.
And I guess my question is, because we know this is all being filmed, like we know there's cameras everywhere, catching are we just really trying to outdo each other and like, you know what we ought to do with you some But you almost feel like there's some guys sitting around there like, hey, guys, you know what we ought to do this would be really cool.
Man put some serious thought in while I was in the bathroom on this one. No, I really, I really think that they don't put a
lot of thought into it. I think it's like one of those just you
know, quick things that they are like, well, this should be a good idea, and they don't really think about like is this really a good idea? Thinking there's some serious drugs involved when people come with these ideas,
you know, Okay, have you ever? I mean that does make brans
to the conversation because I was just having this with somebody. I've always ever
just been going down the road and going, yeah, I could rob that, you know, down the road going should thinking that to myself. But
hey, when I'm when I'm passing a Brinks truck and I'm like, if I had some sea fort, you know, if I have some sea for just laying around, I think I could probably make this happen. You know,
a little bit of this, A little bit of that. I've played
this mission a couple of times. This mission, you play that mission on
that game once. I think I can make this happen. No, I
don't. I don't know. I didn't win the mission, but hey,
maybe you guys think like that. I don't know you guys let me know,
but no, I'm not. I'm not thinking like that, but I
will admit I can see how that could come to my Maybe that's how they get their ideas. They're like, you play this mission, can make this
happen. Maybe maybe, And you haven't just ever thought about carjacking somebody,
and you're like, I have never. Now I will say that I have
uh played enough car games that when I'm in traffic sometimes I'm just like thinking to myself, well, there was that one time that I was playing the NASCAR game and I bumped that guy right there in the back and he was out of my way. I'm like, maybe that I was a man.
I would I had a New Yorker in front of me, the New Yorker, because you think they would draw right before you get into it. For
all of our New York listeners. Whatever he says next, please disregard all.
Right, go on with your story. So, yeah, so I
had somebody who was break checking me, you know, and I thought, you know, in New York, you're you're used to being close up to somebody, So yeah, in traffic. Yeah, so I was I forgot
where I was going. You said that they were close and from New York,
and you were breaking distance? Is right here? Right? So he
he had one of those trailer hitch things and people only buy them for you to hit it. You know one of this is true, and you never
thought, hey, maybe I should back off, back up just a little bit and give this guy some dis I tried, and then he would sit there and wait a whole car and a half length and they break right.
Excuse me, sir, but he was very busy sending out a very important text message and you needed to wait for him to be done with. How
rude of you, Cameron. You're so rude. You're so rude. You're
so rude. You're absolutely rude. What's wrong with you? Why? Why
are you so rude? Why couldn't you wait? You couldn't wait. You
couldn't wait at all. You couldn't wait for somebody to know I couldn't No,
no, no, no, you couldn't wait for him to get done sting his text message. Nope, I'm just curious. No, no,
no camera camera could wait for him to send a text message and then he would advance forward. Uh, it's just absolutely amazing to me that it's It's
just it's just one of those things that if you get to the point where you feel like you need to live your life by the way of a video game, as Cameron thinks that you do, then maybe maybe all Cameron's ideas, all his ideas come maybe you need to pull over. Played a lot.
I played a lot of games when I was a little kid. I'm
still trying to find the one Cops and Robbers game me and him used to play. No, we we We've already found it multiple times. It was
a it was a Genesis Sega collection of games, okay, and it was one of those mini games and stuff. It was like Cops and Robbers and
so you go through all these missions and so the helicopter. Remember that was
a pretty cool game back then. Playing the game, I don't remember the
name was. I remember you all playing the game. I remember, Yeah,
I can't remember the name. I just want to know, are we
I truly believe we are trying to outdo each other one hundred percent when it comes to all these like these car thefts that were seeing, they've become more elaborate. Look, if you would have told me that somebody thought it was
a good idea to try to go break into a dealership wearing pimp coats and cowboy hats. I'd have said, no, no, not though they're more
focused on what they're wearing them who they were there, because we're more focused on right, we've been more focused on talking about what the costumes. So
how do you know that you know that wasn't part of their plane. Here's
the thing from what I understand that they have caught two of the individuals, so maybe it didn't work out too well. I don't know. That's what
I hear. And I'm just saying, well, you had the you have
the guys that they stole a car, then ram truck excuse me, and then ram the gate with the truck to get the rest of the cars out.
You're in the dealership one where they there at the manufacturer h the manufacturer plan. So I was talking about this just earlier at work, right,
and I was like, Hmmm, if someone's gonna do something right illegal, I'm not condoning it. I'm not saying do it, But if you're gonna
do something, you would think you'd plan it out so you don't end up in jail. So but I feel like some people just they don't really think
that far ahead the job to talk about stories. So you can talk about
him on the air, yeah, I mean yeah, but still, I mean you want you want to give him a little hold, don't you.
You want to give them a little bit. I hope they get away,
you know, they did something so bad. But it's like, if you're
getting for them, let's go. I get like I I I think he's
on the opposite end of the he doesn't want us to try it. I
mean, I'm just at the point where I'm just flabbergas is by the facts of all these different like schemes that people come up with and they believe that they're truly gonna work. Now, I unders you like, sometimes people get
await for a while, but eventually they get caught. They get caught and
then they're like, huh, yeah, I thought that. When you're in
prison and you start telling your story and you're like, what are you in here for? Well, let me tell you and me too. Do people
sit around and go, oh, man, such an unlucky break, or do people sit around and go, man, you're such a dumb you know what I mean? Which which way. I want to know which way the
story goes. Do other criminals sit around and realize how dumb that guy was,
or do they just think they caught like the most unlucky break man that almost worked, you could have got away with it, or they go, god, you're stupid. I just want to know do they think like I'm
thinking where I think that wasn't very bright on your part, or you know, are they like are they like the coolest guy in there? Right they
got caught? Yeah right? I just I don't know which way that goes.
If you guys know, let me know. I'm not saying, man,
you were on the run for two years, for two years before you got caught. Golly, I got caught after one day. Is that the
gauge how long you got away with it? Maybe that's the gauge that is
howden that bank going off? That? What are you stuck on banks?
I want to know cameras stuck on banks? He want to see a lot
of brink trucks, and he's like, you know, if I just had he said, a little C four doesn't have to be four. I mean
I've seen somebody. If you're missing any C four I'm just saying over there,
that guy I want to give you with camera's not with us. I'm
just saying giving away my playing man, camera man. These shocks me sometimes
dealing with some things. He just came back from the bathroom. I got
this four. I've got no guys, I'm gonna take QUI commercial break.
When come back, we got some more for you. But hopefully by now
you've made your way to the car if you're not out out at the big creepy car show and you're on your way there, so hopefully we'll see you guys soon. And hold time. I got some more for you. All

So here's something interesting this week that seems to be rolling around. As I
tell you, there doesn't really seem to be a whole lot of car news.
But here's some car news for you this week. There was a lot
of chatter online that came my way where people were asking me had I been noticing? And yes, I have to answer the question for those listeners that
sent me the information. There's a lot of buzz about remakes and what I
mean remakes are reusing the old names of a lot of our favorite cars from maybe the seventies and eighties, I guess the best way to put it.
But they're coming back well even in the nineties. Okay, so let me
correct that seventies, eighties and nineties. I saw a little glitter and a
little eye over there, so I'll say seventies, eighties and nineties. But
why are we bringing some of these cars back as hybrid electrics instead of just bringing them back as cars? You know, I realize the cost production of
making a car with a choice, which is something that Nathaniel and I have talked about quite a bit back and forth of let's bring back some cars and let people choose what they want. Like, if you want electric, you
can have that car electric. You want that car non electric, you can
have that car non electric. And I understand maybe having two different platforms is
extremely expensive for the manufacturer, but once again, as I've said before, I just feel like we're having electric really shoved down our throat. And I
really hate the fact of feeling that way. But when you start bringing back
names like I'll just drop two of them off the top of my head, RX seven and the prelude as to bring the yes. And I like the
RX seven, all right. So I saw the design today and it's funny
because I didn't even know you're going to talk about the ARK seven, but it's on my phone. I like the new design, and I like that
they kept the rotary engine, and it just it's if I was to go out and go still, it is hybrid electric. But at the same time,
oh, you're gonna say, oh, But of course, at the same time, they took new technology and put it towards an old name of An seven, and it looks beautiful. The cargo. First of all,
the rotary motor is one hundred percent and always has been. It's a it's
a niche, so it's it's just for certain type of people only a lot of people don't want to mess with them. Yeah, their first question everybody
asked was does it still have it dy into it? So a lot of
it's that car. I liked the ARC seven. I always thought it was
a really cool car going way back. I just thought it was kind of
a neat design car. I just like to shave it. Some people do,
some people don't. I really lean towards I truly liked eight eighty nine
body style for the longest time. I thought that was kind of cool with
the right I know some people are going to cringe when I say this, but when I was in school, the right body kit that was on it made the car look really cool back then, So I liked that. And
then I liked when they hit with the next And I'm not an RX seven guy through and through, so I don't know all the different letters and stuff.
Yeah, to go to them. But then when they hit with the
early nineties, I think redo of the body I thought that that was really cool as well. I liked that body style. I do not like the
half door rear door body Style when I think that was one of the ugliest ones they produced. I know a lot of people fell in love with them.
I hated that one. I had an opportunity to have one. No,
there's a half door. Yeah, I don't know what the model that.
I don't remember what what series that is, but there's a half back door that opens up model And I like, somebody's gonna send me mes to somebody does I don't know it. I should, but I don't don't care
to either, but because I just really is what you're talking about is that that's yeah the new that thing looks terrible. I like like. I also
think that it opens up the door. Like a few other people where you
know, they did just continue the X eight a masa guy. I like
masses, but you do, yeah, I like masses, masses kind of massas do you like? I like the like maza like I like that,
like the lower down and he likes to speak uh fives or the MX fives with the speed spot. You gotta remember in twenty fifteen, they really didn't
come out. And I like small cars. I will agree, and you
put them through the corners via I'm all about it. The killer yeah,
I'm I'm all about he put a vada and I think it makes for very interesting possibilities. I also felt like the fact that and you don't see a
whole lot of them, but there is a Miyata platform, there's a kick car. Uh, possibilities for body swaps and stuff on Miata where you can
cut them up and do some really cool stuff to them because of the platform it's on them. So so have you noticed that a lot of these electric
cars they're all kind of going for like the same aerodynamic or they design like yeah, kind of like is it me? Or do they look very like
slim down and like there's like no rough corners anymore. For like a lot
of these electric cars were like I feel like back in the old day cars were more like you know, you want to look like more like a couch.
No no, no, I'm saying like like like like older cars, right, And so they got their personalities yeah, right, they got their attributes from like you know, how the headlights come up or you know, the merrors designed or finished popping out. I think a lot of cars look
very similarund yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree. I don't know if
it's been because the placement of the way the batteries have to go on the cars. And maybe that's like the aero dynamics. It could be the way
that they're cooling things and they're venting things. But I just noticed that from
looking they're all smoothed out rough corners. Say that test. I don't think
Tesla and LUSA look alike. I think they look, but they're smooth body.
They are smooth everything. Yeah, everything, there's no hard corners to
everything. Right. Maybe it has a lot to do with the I think
it has a lot to do with less winds, just a futuristic look.
Think about it. It's electric, so it has to be able to get
better miles to the gallon, so there has to be less wind dragged so the car. That's what I was kind of thinking too. Yeah, so
I think that has a lot to do with it. I'm taking a guess.
I don't know what you would you would you prefer to lose some of those qualities and stuff like a car. Well, I think so. I
think we're trying to progress and make the car go further. I think faster
and faster. I think they have to smooth a lot of that stuff out.
I think if you had more of a clunky car, it might get like two hundred and fifty six Would you prefer that if it looked more would you take? Would you take a two hundred and fifty six mile to a
charge car that that that's not what you're talking saying? Would you did all
the time? Though? With you know, with cars, they choose right,
So it's like you're not really you're not going down to the factor of which your gas knowledge or you know how much it costs to fill the tank you're going by? Now do you like it's electric? Now that it's electric?
They would guess though, we're comparing gas car to gas car. Your
parents, you know, coming down because the charge makes the difference. But
you're not. But a car guy isn't really looking at like you said,
You're not looking at the gas knowledge. You're not looking at you know,
horsepower. Sometimes you know, some people just like the design. They like
okay, so it was design based, right, that design based? Would
you but you knew that was going to affect some of the timings as far as how how distance the car would go on a charge. Would you lose
would you be willing to lose one hundred miles based on a radio fifty fifty miles? Would you lose fifty on a design? If it was one hundred,
would that be your breaking point? Yeah? Probably one hundred just seems
to say that would be your breaking point. Second, you're okay, let's
cut in the middle of just say seventy five seventy five you will lose seventy five ondesign. I mean, I mean, okay, how many how many
miles does it have? Hundred? Yeah, okay, I'll be okay with
that. Let you're honest with it. I mean, as long as you're
honest with it, right, because you're not. It's a car that you're
not. You know, some people aren't looking for that, right, They're
just they're really like a car, they're like, so they're not looking for a performance wise or you know, you know what pop back up. I
saw the popped back up this this this week. They were talking about the
guy who makes the water car. Oh my god, he always pops up,
dude, that guy. And when his car and he rebuilt it within
two days, well you know he wasn't the only way he like he disappeared and like you never heard about that guy again. And there was another one
that are you talking about the Cadillac guy. I don't remember what he made
it talking about a video and that, and it was more of a joke, I think if you were talking. So I'm watching the Cadillac guy on
TikTok and they they impounded his car and took his tank out of his back and gave his car different. But that was it wasn't. Okay, that
was I'm pretty sure. Don't qute me down, but I'm pretty sure that
it was more of a joke on the line that because he had a fuel cell in his car. Right, so we're talking about different, right,
It wasn't like I'm pretty sure he was joking on the fact that he was powerment with water, but it was a fuel cell. Is a guy that
actually built a car that ran If you guys ever looked up that guy actually ran on water? Have you ever actually walked it up yourself? Though,
yeah, try to like figure out like how to Okay, I told you about it. I had a guy that worked for US years ago, if
we go disappear and that worked for US years ago that had built he didn't build a water car. So I'm not gonna tell you like I had a
guy that built a water car. So I'm not going down that story this
week, you guys know. But I had a guy that worked for me
that had built this thing to go on his r V that made his RV get really good fuel mileage. And I I can't remember what it was that
he built, but he built something he would get like one hundred miles for a gallon. He was getting something stupid. He was something crazy on on
a on an archtomical number. It wasn't astronomical, but it was greatly increased.
And and he was really smart. And he worked for me and he
retired. He was older than me by quite a few years, but he
was constantly fiddling and making things and building things. And he disappeared, but
he made it. He kept perfecting it, and he got it and he
swore it. Now I never got to, you know, go play with
him or anything like that, but I'm gonna tell you he kept playing with it, and he put it on there, and he was running from here back and forth to Texas every year. He was just one of those snowbirds,
you know, that did their thing. And uh, I want to
say that he said it was over a little over thirty miles more of a gallon that he got playing with the thing that he had, and he had no reason to lie. What was he messing with? You know, he
I don't have to ask, I know, I think if I remember correct, there's I do know somebody that maybe remember exactly what it was he was messing with. But it was something that was fuel related and he'd built it
and made it. And like I said, I want to say it was
a little over thirty miles a gall that it was getting more increase that he was getting. He added a part. He didn't monitfor I know he had
something. He built something, and I don't know what he how he built
or whatever, but it it worked for him. I know they had to
eat. I know it worked for him because I'm gonna tell you he had
one RV and he took it off that RV, then modified it again and made it work better. And that's when he got the bigger number and he
put it on the second Army. He's showing it off, were you like,
Oh? No, he was. He was just he had this idea
and he figured that it would work for him. He built it and he
saw an increase. I want to say, the first increase was like not
little, but I mean it was you're on the right know, you're on the right course. And he just kept on playing with it. Now,
like when I say he was older than me, he was thirty forty years older than me at that time, so you know what I mean. So
he was he was up there. So he had years of playing with this
thing. But he never really he wasn't he wasn't advertising it, he wasn't
trying to brag to anybody. He just just showed us, Hey, look
I built this thing. He was really proud of what he built and it
was working for him. So things could be done, guys, just so
you know. And the water guy, the water car guy that appear,
Yeah, story, he's that guy's on line. You never think it's just
kind of disappeared. Never really, Let's put this way. You don't have
water cars, do we? So what does that tell you? I don't
know. Guys that gotta take a quick hersel break. Wht me come back.
I got some more for you the whole time. I'll be right back.
You're listening to Dave Polach on Let's Talk Cars Radio. Dave. We'll

Talk Cars Radio. You're automotive specialist. Now back to your host, Dave
Polach. Hey, guys, welcome back. Hey, so we're rolling right
along. I got a little something I want to ask you guys, A
weird question. Now, you guys, if you listen to the show long
enough, you know that I'm messing around in my car and I'm running around running errands and stuff like that. That if people watch a little bit sometimes
maybe that's the best way to put it. People watch, Yeah, the
best way watch your surroundings. Yeah, well, I watch what's going on
with people with their cars and they mess around their cars. You ever watch
people at the air pump, particularly probably wah wah because wat's free air.
Yeah, and you question why they parked into parking spots. I don't question
why they park in two parking spots, but I do happen to know.
It's like I'll sit there and be pumped my gas and I always tend to look over right where I get my gas, at the way the wall, I has the air pump set right where I get I can happen to notice them getting air. You know one of the lines that they have for the
mailboxes where you have to pull your car in and only one car can fit in the road thing, I know all about it. I don't, it's
so narrow. Yeah, they should do that though at wah wah where you
have to pull into an actual like lane or something air pump because they're just everywhere everybody's they're everywhere, so you're taking a little bit hold on. So
am I taking your as getting gas? I watched that there's probably like nine
people that want air for I don't know how why nine people want air all at the same time, but one pump work. But there's no like official
lines, So then you have these people like trying to jump in front of each other, and then people are getting mad why I was your first while I was your first? Well, first of all, there's two air pumps.
But what blah blah does is they put one in a parking spot and then they put one like against the curve, and there's always someone parts and no one ever notices that one's in the park for the parking spot for some reason, I don't know why they don't. So you have that problem.
Then I watched people go around and put air in their tires, and then they got to run around to their vehicle and they're looking in their vehicle and they're run around hit and then I then I go, Okay, so they're trying. They don't know how to use a machine. No, no,
the machine. If you actually set the machine at the wah wah, you
set it to the air that you how much are you want to put it in? When it beeps. But then they're running around to their vehicle because
they're trying to look inside their vehicle to see what their tire says. Their
tire monitor inside their car says that their pressure is at always get mad when I set thirty six and it's like thirty four, I'm like, just baped.
I know. But here's the problem. Either one or two things.
Most likely, the air pump outside at wah Wah is one hundred percent right of what it's saying right. The one inside your car is not going to
register a lot of times because a lot of cars, the car has to be put in motion for the tire to change and re register the new air pressure, just so you know. So I literally watched somebody what felt like
for twenty minutes, and if you asked why, I was out the gas pump for twenty minutes because we have tractors on the property and I don't only put gas in my truck, but then I had to fill the can up the process and usually takes eight cans. You gotta fill up. Yeah,
there he has to do regular and then he has to and wait for the gas thing to reset reset to be able to get his diesel. So I've
usually had the gas pump for twenty five minutes or so by the time I put gas in the truck, I get the cans for gasoline, and then I reset for diesel for the diesel tractor. Anyway, it's a process.
You got me good. One time he was like hey, he was like,
can you fill that up? I did, and he was like,
I thought I always done after ten minutes ago. By the way, there's
more and bring us out like four different diesel cans it is, and I don't. And everybody's like, you need to get a diesel hauler, a
big tank in the back of your truck, and I don't. I don't.
I don't want that. I know is always there. I know,
yeah, I know everybody has them, and I don't want one on my truck. But everybody's like, oh, you need to put one of those
so you can fill your tractors. Pull your truck up and fill it up.
I don't want one of those. If I'm gonna do that, then
I just want to sit on the property. No, then I'd just get
a service body truck and I'd have you know, tanks on my service body truck and just fill off of that like everybody else does get because that's what everybody feels their tractors. They keep the truck, yeah, right in case
you run out. I'm not doing all that, guys. Sorry, I
don't. If I get to the point where I own a thousand acres,
maybe I'll do that, and but to that point, I'm not doing all that. Just so I think I already know the emails are coming. They're
like, why don't you just get a truck, put the cans on it and service it and drive out and feel it. I'm not doing all that
because amount a word to get in the truck, pull it out. It's
just too much. It's just too much truck. I'd rather drive the tractor
back around, come around and fill it up here at the Mega garage and just roll back out and the field and just it's I don't I don't have that much land enough to makes it work. You see the video where the
lady is asking for help to air her tires up and stopped and she's like, I don't know how to work this thing, and the guy looks at at her and he was like, well, that's that's the pro painting.
Yeah, I saw that one. Totally off topic. I know it's card
totally off topic. I saw the video somebody sent me, and I appreciate
jo sonning me because I got a good laugh at it. But they sent
me the video where they the girl was on like Tinder or whatever, one of the dating sites, and she invited all the guys over for dates to help, and then she was having a move move them. She had a
moving truck and she's like, oh, well, it's glad to meet you, and she was rushing the other guys out, so she had them all kind of showing up at the same time. She's like, can you help
me with these co boxes. Was put them on the truck and the next
guy's oh, this is my friend, and they'd beet and like yeah, could you grab the end of this couch and the two both. I was
just like, how do you keep? How smart was that? But they
was all They let them all know they was in on a joke at the end. But I was just like you, I stopped, but I went
I wonder if that would work for It wouldn't work a guy, but if a woman for car repairs, like, O, look my car won't start, you know, like here, here's some wrenches. I think you fix
my alternator. I don't think these tires rotating. You think you can help
me rotate these tires. I don't know how to replace the alternator, but
I don't know how to take boats out. Like I was like that actually
was like actually a really good idea, and I started thinking about it in the car car sense. I was like, and you can get your oil
changed, your tires rotated, service, in full service, everything on your car, all right through the swipe. I don't know if you slip swipe
right or left, but I do know you have to swipe some way.
If somebody can tell me the way that works. I don't know, and
I'm changing my bile. Just know you swipe one way or the other.
I'm not really sure, right, I don't know. I'm changing my bible.
Who wants to help me rob a Brinks truck? But no? So,
like I said, I'll people watch, and I'm watching these people run in between what the machine says for airing up the tire in their car, back and forth. One of them are doing it. I didn't have I
don't know if I was having too much fun watching them doing it, because I could have walked over. I could have. Probably. I probably could
have, like after I got my gasoline, walked over and maybe gave some people some instructions when you know you don't have to run between. But it
was I think I was getting too much enjoy because I was laughing. I
thought it was kind of funny. I was like, why did these people
just keep on running back and forth? And they run like the run over
and they look inside the next It's like, well, I was like, this was almost like a whole TV episode of something on TV. I was
watching right theress and they were like you literally watch them and like they duck in their head in their car, and then they like they throw their hands up in there and they grabbed the back of the line and and like there's people behind them getting mad, and they're like, add more air. But
I keep on hearing it beep over and over again. I'm like, it's
beaten because it's telling you it's already given you all the air it's supposed to give you. It's not gonna give you any more air. But then they're
ducking their head back in and looking again. I'm like they're running back to
the car. They're like it was just something at thirty four, goes back
to the tire, runs back, it's that thirty two airt I thought to myself, this is mad at me. But I was like, I could
set up a camera on a tripod right here and just record this, because I've seen enough dumb things that people put, like on videos they're making money off of. If I just literally set up a camera and a tripod and
recorded this start racking in, this has got to be a million dollar show.
I was like, it's gotta you can just dumb people at the air pump. So I'm not saying I'm just saying always there's a bunch of shows
out there that do that. Right, so you have what like most wanted
stuff. You see the guy that's got the bridge, let's the records all
the cars hitting the bridge, right, seeing that, right, he hits the bridge, and that guy makes tones off animated video where he shows like destruction of what would happen if two cars hit each other. No, you're
talking about the camera. It's a five to eleven bridge, and it's because
it's marked with so many signs, because so many people have to bet this bridge. And he just has one camera set up. It's a live it's
in his house, and it's on his house, and he posts a video every month of all the car cris hit the bridge, that hit the bridge, and it gets millions of you. You know, he does the charge
like he gets the hits. He gets the new counts counts, and for
us, for some reason, as many times, look, I'm not saying as many times as we've watched it, yeah, we still want to see the game. I can't count how many times I've loaded up YouTube and just
typed in car crashes and just why I don't know his video You see his video come up all the time he's I think it's called the five eleven bridge.
Five eleven, I think it's what it's called. Yeah, it's it's
look, money is everywhere. But I'm like, I could just sit here
and record this and this would be money like it. It's a funny idea.
Who knows. I don't know. Look, I've seen sillier ideas.
But it was entertaining why I got my guess it's called the eleven eight bridge.
Eleven. I was like five ten bridges. I was like, that's
a really short bridge. When he said it, Yeah, I know,
I was thinking, and I'm like I was. I was like, I
was like, wow, I said Cameron. Cameron like he can walk underneath
it, but I couldn't. Uh huh. Cameron just told me I was
number one. I gave me the finger to go live. Was the very
special person. Look, I don't know if you all see some strange things.
I see a lot of strange things when I'm out driving around. I
told you all about the guy that a while back was standing on top of the stead of his truck washing his windows. I mean, because the truck
was so tall, I thought I thought the best way to due was just climb on top of the truck on the roof and just reach over from the roof side, not on the hood, and reach over and clean the windows.
You see some strange things out there. I mean, I don't know
the problem with that. I this d thing that scared me is is they're
unattended. These people are. That's what scares you. A little bit,
Yeah, a little bit. All that they're pretty extra gas in their car.
They got another two hundred miles. I have no guys, I got
to take another quick course of break. When we come back, we're going
to finish the show out for you guys, and we're going to get back to enjoying the car show stuff. So uh, hold tight, we'll be

You're automotive specialist. Now back to your host, Dave Polach. Hey,
guys, welcome back. All right, keeping on with the craziness.
So we've all heard of weird speeding tickets, right, I thought them.
I don't think I've ever got any weird ones I honestly got. Admit,
I don't think I've ever got a weird speeding ticket. I've gotten speeding tickets
that I've deserved. I mean, I'm not gonna lie. I mean I've
most I say, almost every speeding ticket I've ever got I deserved, except for maybe one or two. I questioned, uh, the way that I
got them. I went to court one of them one on one. As
I got they agrieved me that I should have got the ticket. And the
last one, you guys know that I got after not having a speed ticket for twenty five years. Uh, they don't believe in, as I told
you guys, that self driving cars have any governance over them yet. So
anything that you have, anything that has a self driving feature, there is no law governing it yet. Therefore you're found guilty until they find a way
to write law on it. And that's the reason why I got my ticket.
He's still hot about. It's worse though, I mean, because unfortunately
I got that racing ticket. Right. It's a racing racing right right,
right, it's tough, right. Just really threw me off, was that
who I was accordingly racing with didn't get that, didn't get charged. So
how can you who am I racing? No? No, the other person
wasn't racing. You couldn't right that. You're totally right, though, but
that was a game because they changed his court date for one day. One
day, that's right. Wait a minute, I had to go do thirty
thirty hours of community service because apparently I was betting. We're talking about though,
either no, yeah, bet racing. Put my hand out the window.
Who doesn't put their hand out the window and waved to your friend?
Yeah? Apparently I was given a countdown I mean, I'm just curious because
it was like on you once you got charged, it's not like you can go back after like it's already settled your stuff. You're not you know,
you're not gonna one day. I got you. I have, like I
said, I've I've had some speeding tickets in my life. I told you
guys about them on the show. I don't you know, I'm not pretty
transparent about everything. I had all of them when I was younger, through
my whole adult life, didn't acquire any I got the one almost ten years ago, and I went to court, pled my case, showed my evidence.
The judge agreed me that there was no way that I would have been speeding during that time, and it was dismissed. And I said, I
got this one recently while the car was in self driving mode. The car
shows it wasn't speeding, But like I said, I told you guys, I end up getting the ticket anyway, because there's no governance for self driving vehicles yet, so you can't use any of the car's data box recording showing that you weren't speeding, and they go with what the police officer says.
Regardless, that makes no sense to me, what you're saying is his technology trumps your technology. That's exactly what they told me. His not his technology,
his word to his technico technology. He was just even though our technology
in our cars, which is accurate because the same thing they're using the car, but the car has a secondary source that can show off data from it that it stores it separately, which shows the cars what never sped, which I don't know, will not what which I can't control. I have no
access to. I cannot alter that. You can show that separately. Still,
they will not use that in the court of law because there's no law governing that yet, uh that allows them to allow that into their courtroom to make a ruling on that. Until Virginia law or any state that you're in
starts finding a way to allow that in the courtroom, you're not even allowed.
They're not even allowed to review it as evidence because there's no law for it. I just don't think these radars hold records. It's up from what
I know. They don't, right because when you ask can I like to
pull it up or show you, they say, can't. Fizzy Shay a
lock in it will hold. But once but once they clear it's gone.
Right, there's no database, but I think anything, I don't think there's any knalys or something new. It's a little bit of systems talk. I
don't Yeah, I don't think it does. And somebody correct me if I'm
wrong. But the radar guns I know, and the light of guns I
know. They didn't lock like a whole log everything that they ever got.
And this it's pinpointed to you right our time. I'm pretty sure it clear,
is it? It's just And at that point it's whatever the officers account
to the situation was, and that was it. Because he wears a badge
and sty and you don't. It's they're going to take well we you know,
we appointed him as officers. So at the end of the day,
it really has to do with just what they have to say. It doesn't
matter what we think, what we do. They're in control of it.
They're the officer in the day. It's their word, right, So hold
that thought right there. If that isn't crazy enough in our own stories,
right, Imagine that you got a speeding ticket and let's just say it comes to the mail, or let's say you went to court, right, and because some some courts they'll mail it to well, we're going to mail it to you whatever, righte some something ticket right right, like you got found guilty and you're like okay, and then they mail you and you decide to pay it whenever it gets mailed to you and lotus right, and you open it up and you owe one point four million dollars one point four million dollars?
Do they not go over that cost or that fine cost in late or like in Georgia on top of this? Was that? Was that what you
use? Fine? Like this? This person opens it up. It like
five dollars every over one point four million dollars for a speeding ticket. Thank
goodness, it's a Cli raicle error. But could you imagine like you had
a great friday. You get off work, you go home, your pa,
you just got your you're gonna hang out with the boys. You happen
to get the mail on your way into the house. You open it up.
Do you see something say city of Virginia Beach or City of Georgia, Virginia Beach. It could happen. You're hoping, is it shit? But
you open it up and now you know no city offices open over the weekend, So you. You're whole this thing all weekend. That's gonna kill your
weekend while you hold one point four million dollars. Now you're really counting pennies
even if you know I because you know I ain't paying that. I don't
care what they say. I'm not paying that. But it's gonna kill your
whole buzz all week and long. Like you're gonna be holding that, You're
gonna be You're gonna tell everybody you know, you're gonna call. It's gonna
be the top of the conversation all week and long because you're gonna be like a million people, a million ways how you're not paying passed three thousand dollars bill and I was like three k and tools how long? How have I
drove it through this? To be fair, Karon always forgot to put his
easy Pass in his car for like three months. He's like, it's I
got it in my car. I'll show you right now. And he goes
outside and he's like, I got it in my car here somewhere, maybe I don't have it in my car. And then Cameron realized didn't have it
in his car. Car he had his car. Karen was He's like he
was so mad. He's like, it's in my car. How many shows
right now? He goes in his car and he took it out his car
and he drove through the tolls for like three months without it thinking he had it in there, and they were charging him the full fee. So then
how do you call him and go, it's in my it was in my car, but no, it wasn't. You thought it was up in the
window and it wasn't. He just didn't realize it. They paid it for
me. Yeah, don't ever make that mistake. Just like so when we
go up to New York, they'll tell you that that pass works through all the different holes. It doesn't work through every single one. It only works
through certain ones. If there's a couple of toych because you got to the
bend in the church, they are old, they're owned by other people.
I guess another service, and that service doesn't take the easy pass. But
no one tells you that. And oh I didn't know the first couple of
times we went up there. Those pay as you go tull apps they don't
work. They only work on certain ones too. They don't work on the
ones that tell you that they will work. And they don't, and then
you get a bill of them. I got a bill in the mail for
like one hundred and eight dollars. You missed it or something like, I
didn't miss it. I said I prepaid before I left, and they're like,
well, we don't accept the prepay, and then you come through.
Keep on mind, just so you guys know, it doesn't Sometimes you might get some weird deals in the mayor from easy pass or tickets or whatever.
It could happen. On that note, guys, we gotta go ahead and
get out of here. Hey, don't forget come out and see us.
