Thank you for your very kind word and I'm grateful for what you said, but I think maybe
two things.
One is about diesel.
When I started as mayor, one of the bigger industrial lobbies in the world came to my office and
said to me, you have to change your message about banning the diesel because if you don't,
we will fight against you.
We will demonstrate that you're a very bad mayor and you will be responsible of the unemployment
in not just in France, but in Europe, and I said to him, wow, you're so powerful.
I'm scared, but anyway, I'm mayor and I want to be on the right side of this story.
And maybe one day, people came to you and asked to you because you know that you are poisoning
people, and it is your responsibility.
I was with my deputy mayor and we said, bye-bye to this guy, and with my deputy mayor, we
said, oh my God, what happened now?
And what happened now?
