Have you heard? It's the last show of the year!
Oh no!
What a year it's been! Oh man! I can't believe this is the last one. We're already the last day of the year and this is it!
So I thought it would be fun to go do a countdown of our top 10 most downloaded shows of 2025 and set us up for some great content coming in 2026.
So what do you say we thank our sponsors and get on with our countdown?
The Truck Show podcast is proudly brought to you in partnership with Amsoil, the maker of the best synthetics and the same ones we use in our rigs.
Today is the last day right now. Do it to take advantage of Amsoil's holiday offer.
You spend $125 or more on synthetic oil, lubricants, greases, car care products, even merch.
Get the Amsoil Blocks UTV set for free. Use the promo code HOLMAN2025 at checkoutonamsoil.com.
We use Amsoil products to protect our rigs and you should too.
Also, time is out! That's it! This is the last opportunity to get a Kershaw knife for 40% off of MSRP.
That's automatic. USA made knives and the code can be used more than once.
Head to kershaw.kaiusa.com and use our code to TSP2025 before the end of the year,
before the end of the day to get yourself a great knife.
And if you want to treat yourself to the latest in adventure, gear, upgrades for your vehicle,
go to ovrmag.com and use the code at Truck Show Podcast or discount on print or one year digital subscription for free.
Fortunately, this one's not ending today.
As you know, the Truck Show Podcast survives off of sponsorships and your reviews.
Please help me to keep it free by supporting our sponsors and leaving reviews and comments on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
So, do you guys want to do a countdown?
No!
Well, too bad. We're going to do it anyway. All right.
These are the top 10 shows of 2025.
10.
Number 10, season three, episode 25 with UEM Pistons, Chris Soprisio,
who joined us to talk about how the company has remained relevant and under family control for 100 years in four generations.
So, we learned about the company's origins and also about Pistons.
And Amy Hall came on to help us out with a little Nissan Frontier Pro 4X review.
And I believe we're going to have UEM back on because they've got some new products to talk about.
So, we'll hear more from them soon.
Nine.
Coming in at number nine on our list was a surprise guest, somebody you hadn't heard from for a while.
And I think you might hear from him again in the very near future.
But our old friend and co-host, Lightning, aka J. Tillis, returned to the pod shed.
And he talked about his experience using Expel's windshield protection film on the TRX.
And we also walked through a bunch of information on the 2026 RAM 1500 RAM charger,
which has been renamed because I think the RAM charger is going to be the new SUV
because it's no longer the name of the charging pads on 2026 RAMs either.
And we know that they're going to have a big SUV based on the Jeep Wagoneer.
So, mark my words, you heard it here first.
Anyway, it was nice to catch back up with Lightning.
And I think we're going to have him back on again soon.
So, you can fill us in on whatever else he's been up to lately
and hopefully bring me a iDash for the new 392.
And that was season three, episode 15.
Eight.
Coming in at number eight was season three, episode nine.
And that was our friend Kirsten Backes from Cobb Tuning.
And that was the first time that she was on the show.
And, man, you guys really loved hearing from her.
And we've had her on a couple of times since.
And I'm sure we're going to have her on more in the new year.
Back in episode nine, we talked about tuning emissions, new products, new applications.
And then we talked about Rebel Rally a little bit.
And then that was the one where I took you for a ride in the GMC Hummer EV SUV.
So, that was another episode packed full of interesting content.
Seven.
That would be episode 23.
Season three, episode 23.
That was our friend Nick Somas from Peak Suspension.
And also the Ram Heavy Duty Pickup, 25, redo on that.
And the funny thing about that episode,
and I hope you guys liked it as much as we did,
but not only did we talk about Peak Suspension,
but Nick claims that he's a certified Dr. Pepper enthusiast.
So, Marin put together the ultimate taste test of, I think, nine or ten Dr. Peppers.
And we did a taste test to see, I think it was ten,
to see who could taste all the flavors that are out there,
as well as the sugar cane version in the glass bottles.
And then there were a couple of ringers in there.
And yours truly, right here, it was a blind taste test.
Marin did it all. She brought it in identical red cups.
Yours truly, right here, ten for ten.
So, there you have it.
I proved myself once again, and that's probably not why you listen to that one.
You probably listen to it for the ride along with Ram's chief vehicle,
synthesis manager Doug Killian, who was absolutely awesome as we were towing in the new Ram.
Six.
So, this was season three, episode five with Chance Lord.
You may not know the name, but he was the Kingpin Equip founder.
And he came to talk about his upstart company.
They make awesome vehicle-mounted LED lights, light bars for scene lighting,
for cargo areas, for truck beds.
And if you go to truckshowpodcast.com to the Future Products section,
there's actually a discount code on there for getting those for yours.
I use them in my Jeep.
I actually love them.
They're a fantastic product, and those are great guys.
I also did some interviews from the Shot Show,
and we also did a review of What's in Holman's driveway,
and it was the Ram Rebel X that had the new Hurricane Straight 6.
Five.
So, number five is season three, episode three.
And that was my visit to the Dakar rally with Ford
and watching the race with the Raptor T1 Plus race cars.
It was also with Emmy Hall.
And we talked about a recent Morocco monkey bike trip
and details on upgrading Buddy to 2.0.
And in my driveway that week was the Nissan Armada Pro4X.
She co-hosted that one, and of course, you guys all love Emmy,
so it's no surprise that fifth most downloaded episode of the year
was season three, episode three, Dakar Rally and Emmy Hall.
Full.
So, number four, no surprise here.
That was the deep dive with BFG's Brandon Sturges.
So, BFGoodrich, they have the new KO3 coming out.
It's slowly rolling out in different sizes.
It's available now, depending on the size of your tire.
But he was their all-terrain and product manager,
and he joined the podcast.
He talked about how their tires are developed.
Deep dive into how BFG intends to maintain their leadership position.
And it was also me at KOH.
I got to drive a 25 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison out there.
So, that's what the truck review was.
And you guys really appreciated hearing that deep dive
on BFGoodrich with Brandon Sturges.
So, no surprise there.
Three.
And episode number 27.
Season three, episode 27, entitled,
Holman is Back for number three.
So, that was my triumphant return after a two-month absence
from the podcast and horrible voice.
And tough for you guys to listen to.
And I apologize for that, but I really wanted to get back to you.
And we're still a little bit behind on episodes this year.
So, January, we're going to try and push forward
and get caught up for you guys.
But that was after my big accident.
And it was the first time I returned to the podcast
where you heard my own voice.
And I talked to you and had a couple of very special guests.
My mom and Marin on that one.
And your support was absolutely unbelievable through this year.
It was not a great year for the Holman family in more ways than one.
But this was particularly bad.
And I just, I'm happy for everybody.
I'm happy I'm here.
I'm happy Marin's here.
I'm happy we're good.
I'm happy I get to do the podcast.
But what I'm most grateful for is the support
from all of you who listen to the podcast
and everyone who reached out on social
or an email or phone calls and all that stuff.
I mean, hundreds and hundreds of people.
You guys got me through a really tough time.
And I'm excited to still be here
and happy to know that episode cracked the top three.
And I'm sure you're wondering,
okay, well, if that was not the most downloaded episode of the year,
what could it be?
So, let's listen to number two.
Two.
And episode number two.
This is probably my favorite one of the year.
I gotta be honest.
And that was my very first episode on my own without lightning.
And it was with none other than Mike Rowe.
I'm Mike Rowe and you know what you're doing, right?
You're listening to the Truck Show podcast.
So congratulations.
That's right.
Congratulations.
He also felt that we were a weird little show.
But I like it too.
And my other favorite Mike Rowe quote that we pulled out of the show.
The Truck Show, which rhymes with, you know.
It rhymes with, you know.
Mike Rowe's a guest that I have been chasing down for this podcast for many years.
He's one of those good guys in the industry.
I had never met him before.
And he was so gracious, gave me an hour and a half.
He said, hey, it's my day off.
Let's just go as long as it goes.
And I cut it short.
We could have kept going.
But I didn't want to impose on his time.
Maybe we can get him back.
I think he would do it.
Let me know what you guys think.
But he would, that was probably the best interview.
We had so much fun.
We didn't even just talk about trucks.
We talked about everything.
And for me to have somebody like Mike Rowe on the show,
and that was the first one without lightning.
Man, what a heavy lift.
But I think it worked out and you guys responded.
It was the number two most downloaded show of the year.
And of course, the number one most downloaded show of the year.
One.
All right.
This one's a little bit of a weird one.
This is season three, episode 26.
Have you heard truck news?
Wait, what?
Yeah.
So this is weird.
And when I saw this was our number one downloaded episode of the year,
I thought, why do people care so much about a news one?
Because the news ones always do, I don't know,
like 70 or 80% of what a normal show does.
So the fact that it was the number one of the year,
this was on April 10th.
It featured the new Ford Ranger Super Duty.
Okay.
Well, that's cool.
And a bunch of other kind of things like bringing trailer Ram
and Tesla extended battery news.
And if the Kia pickup truck was coming to the US,
what I realized was this was the very last episode
that I recorded before my accident
and then the truck show podcast went dark.
So I think everybody downloaded that one
to see if there's some news on what happened to the podcast.
Why did it end?
And so I think without that,
the micro one would have been the number one.
But I get it.
So those are our top downloaded episodes of 2025.
Right.
No, it's true.
It's true.
So I think despite the tragedy and the headaches of 2025,
I really think that we did a good job of bringing you the best
truck podcast out there.
I'm going to do my best to do even better in 2026.
And I promise I'm going to lower the suckage.
Lower the suckage.
So from my family to yours, happy new year.
Thank you for all the support of the year.
I hope you'll continue to listen to us in 2026.

hooting and hollering in the online shed.
We're having fun talking trucks and other totally
rad and random stuff, no matter where you are,
come hang out in Holman's backyard.
Join the pot shed insider.
Why not?
I just hadn't played that one in a while.
I love it so much.
So there's one last time for 2025.
Come hang out in my backyard in 2026.
Thank you, Amsoil.
The podcast wouldn't be here without you.
And you guys were amazingly supportive through my ordeal.
And I can't say enough good things about a company.
Please go buy some great synthetic products from
amsoil.com.
Kershaw Knives.
Again, an amazing partner.
You guys bought a lot of knives this year.
kershaw.kaiusa.com.
And of course, OVR Magazine.
Go there, grab yourself one of the best print magazines
around.
It's made with love.
It's not cheap.
It's not from recycled paper.
It's big.
It's thick.
It's heavy.
And it's got some great content from some of the best
writers around the world.
So don't forget to leave us a review on Apple Podcast
or Spotify.
And that's it.
We're done.
It's the last show of 2025.
I guess I'll see you guys next year.
Some vehicles may have been harmed during the making
of this podcast.
And I promise, Emmy, I'm going to also be a better person.
Who are the worst person I know?
I know.
But not yet because my New Year's resolution is to be
a better person next year, not right now.
So before we go, Emmy, thanks for all the great belches
this year.
Oh my gosh.
Excuse me.
