Auto Correct | Oxygen Sensors & Catalytic Converters
Automotive oxygen sensors, colloquially known as O2 sensors, make modern electronic fuel injection and emission control possible. If an oxygen sensor fails, the engine computer won't be able to correctly set the air-fuel ratio, which could result in lower fuel economy, higher emissions and damage to other components, such as an overheated catalytic converter. https://www.cars.com/articles/when-should-the-oxygen-sensor-be-replaced-1420663031800/Email the show: [email protected]: Check for Recalls: Vehicle, Car Seat, Tire, Equipment | NHTSANews: Mississippi has the deadliest roads in the US – study reveals Auto Casey Car Review: 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe Hosted on Acast. Auto Correct | Auto Insurance
Vehicle insurance (also known as car insurance, motor insurance, or auto insurance) is insurance for cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other road vehicles. Its primary use is to provide financial protection against physical damage or bodily injury resulting from traffic collisions and against liability that could also arise from incidents in a vehicle. Vehicle insurance may additionally offer financial protection against theft of the vehicle, and against damage to the vehicle sustained from events other than traffic collisions, such as keying, weather or natural disasters, and damage sustained by colliding with stationary objects. The specific terms of vehicle insurance vary with legal regulations in each region. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_insuranceSpecial guest caller: Insurance Commissioner Mike ChaneyEmail the show: [email protected]: Check for Recalls: Vehicle, Car Seat, Tire, Equipment | NHTSANews: Uninsured Motorist Statistics By State [2023]Auto Casey Car Review: 2023 Land Rover Defender 130 Hosted on Acast. Auto Correct | Summer Driving
Topic: Snow, rain and ice are common cold-weather threats to driver safety, but summer brings with it its own set of dangers. For drivers, the added traffic of summer vacationers is just part of the increased risk — construction, sun glare and unpredictable weather patterns all add to the danger.According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, summer and fall are the most dangerous times of the year for drivers, with July and August being the deadliest. More drivers are out on the road during that time, which increases the likelihood of collisions.Extreme heat takes a toll on vehicles. It can lead to tire blowouts and can affect your vehicle’s braking ability. It causes your engine to overheat more easily and places increased stress on just about every mechanical function your vehicle performs.Email the show: [email protected]: Check for Recalls: Vehicle, Car Seat, Tire, Equipment | NHTSANews: What Are the Most Fuel-Efficient Cars? Benz had so much commercial success with this engine that he was able to devote more time to his dream of creating a lightweight car powered by a gasoline engine, in which the chassis and engine formed a single unit.On January 29, 1886, Carl Benz applied for a patent for his “vehicle powered by a gas engine.” The patent – number 37435 – may be regarded as the birth certificate of the automobile. In July 1886 the newspapers reported on the first public outing of the three-wheeled Benz Patent Motor Car, model no. 1.
