2475: Nigel Mathews
Nigel Matthews is the Chief Judge and on the Selection Committee for the annual La Jolla Concours d'Elegance. Originally from Oxfordshire, England, he has lived in Vancouver, British Columbia for 50 years where he worked as a red seal designated licensed automotive technician and member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, repairing, and restoring Rolls-Royce and Ferrari automobiles. The past 29 years Nigel has been in the classic and exotic car insurance industry and currently serves as Global Brand Ambassador for Hagerty. Since 2005 Nigel has judged most of the major concours events around the globe and has written classic car columns in the Canadian press and numerous automotive magazines. In 2015 Nigel was one of the founding members of ICJAG (International Chief Judge Advisory Group) and took over from Ed Gilbertson, as the Chairman in 2020.

Michael Dorvillier is the Co-Chairman of the La Jolla Concours d'Elegance, a role he's had for over a decade. This spectacular event takes place in La Jolla, California, just north of San Diego, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Michael is a Founding Partner of Symbio Financial Partners and a Registered Principal and Financial Advisor with LPL Financial. He has over 33 years of experience in the financial services industry. Michael is a passionate antique car collector who was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Jeremy Jackson-Sytner is the Founder and organizer of the Grand Tour, a luxury car tours experience with events and adventures around the world designed for owners of sports and GT cars. Known as Mr. Concours, Jeremy works at the top of the international historic automobile world. He is the creator of the world's leading concours events, organizer of luxury car tours, and a consultant to a series of major car events around the globe. He is a consultant creating feasibility studies for new concours events including Hokkaido, Japan and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Jeremy has judged at numerous concours in India, Malta, Holland, the UK and numerous other events. He is a concours curator sourcing historic cars from around the world and is the Concours Curator for ModaMiami, a new event that include an RM Sotheby's auction.

Scott Bannister is the founder and Managing Director of Regularity, an event company with the goal of opening the world of touring challenges to a wider audience of motorsport enthusiasts. Regularity is the evolution of an idea that participating in a classic motorsport challenge doesn't need to be about large groups, stuffy rules, hard competition, or who posts the quickest time. It can be about the adventure, about discovering new countries and experiencing jaw-dropping scenery with a small group of likeminded enthusiasts.

Michael May is a performer and filmmaker, and is best known for hosting, creating, and executive producing the docuseries AUTO/BIOGRAPHY and its spinoff AUTO/BIOGRAPHY: COLD CASES for Motor Trend TV. He previously ran the media company Fun Size Horror where he produced hundreds of hours of digital content, feature films, and tv shows. Michael recently started his own production company, Convergent Content, where he's been actively developing content for TV, film, and podcasts. Currently he's directing a feature film that will come out later this year, and hosts the automotive themed podcast, "Fuel for the Future" for America's Automotive Trust which you can find on every podcast platform.

Tess Scaman is a Client Account Manager at RM Sotheby's where, since joining in June of 2021, she has already had the opportunity to experience a multitude of auctions from their earliest beginnings to the hammer for the final lot. At RM Tess helps guide clients along the path of acquiring their dream cars. Her work at RM allows her to feed the traveling bug that's had its clamps in her since a young age, she always stays active and looks forward to the opportunity to take a break and go off somewhere new, on her own.

Scott George is the Executive Vice President of CH Motorcars and Curator of Collections for Revs Institute in Naples, Florida. Widely regarded as one of the top automotive museums in the world, Revs Institute is dedicated to the study of the automobile and offers visitors an exceptional opportunity to view over 100 of the most influential automobiles of our time. Scott takes overall care of the automobiles, managing the in-house restoration workshop, and ensuring the vehicles participate at international events. Scott is a member of the National Advisory Board for the Automotive Restoration Program at McPherson College in Kansas, and he is on the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion Advisory Council.

Danny travels the country living a 'Drag & Drive' lifestyle and in his second year of racing made over two hundred passes down the drag strip, earning "Rookie of the Year at the Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0. He has been featured in and on a multitude of automotive media outlets and touches thousands of lives on his adventures.

Thatcher Keast is the Consignment Department Manager and Auction Coordinator at RM Sotheby's where he oversees consignments and the logistics of making an auction come to life. Today Thatcher shares a new event from RM Sotheby's titled ModaMiamia that takes place February 29 through March 2 in Coral Gables, Florida at the historic Biltmore Hotel. He's share a few of the collectible cars up for auction.

Sam Smith is a writer and a former executive editor of Road & Track magazine. He's been an automotive journalist for 20 years, he has contributed to a variety of publications, including The New York Times, Esquire, and Car and Driver. As TV and video presenter Sam's talents have been tapped by clients as diverse as NBC Sports and classic-car insurance provider Hagerty. His career highlights include track-testing Fernando Alonso's Formula 1 McLaren, flying to Japan for a deep dive into that land's offbeat Dodge-van "Dajiban" culture, and driving to the Arctic Circle in a Jeep with no doors because it sounded like fun. Along with his co-hosts, motorsport legends Ross Bentley and Jeff Braun, Sam has just launched a podcast called It's Not the Car.

Lee Raskin is an author and co-author of acclaimed motorsports biographies and has been involved in motorsports for over four decades. He is best known as an early Porsche historian and authority on James Dean's brief but spectacular racing career driving Porsches. He often consults with authors, video producers, documentaries, webcasts, podcasts, interviews, and television shows regarding James Dean's motorsports activities, and the mysterious disappearance of his "Little Bastard" Porsche 550 Spyder following his crash and death in 1955. Lee's contributed to numerous magazines including Porsche 356 Registry, Panorama, 000 Magazine, Excellence and many others.

Brendan Garst is a Colorado car enthusiast, old-car apologist, and editor-in-chief of SHIFT Colorado magazine, a digital publication built as a volunteer effort by himself and other like-minded enthusiasts from the Colorado Cars and Coffee organization. The project started in 2022, and is now in its seventh quarterly issue, and he enjoys co-leading one of the best groups of amateur car journalists around. He's a Brendan is a rabid Audi enthusiast, especially for their older five-cylinder cars. Brendan spends his time working on the magazine, cars, and his accounting skills at his day job. His favorite car event is the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Brought to you by Gran Turismo, which he volunteers as pit crew for his friends' teams each year.

Jason Wenig is the Founder and Owner of The Creative Workshop, one of the top restorers of classic cars and builders of coach-built specials. His business is known for and is regularly entrusted with rare, exotic, and prototype vehicles. Jason is also the Executive Director of the Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d'Elegance that takes place on February 4 at the prestigious JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura, Miami, Florida. This event features their Miami Speed & Style Rally, and a world class concours d'elegance. The cars are the stars but the entrants, judges, guests, and media share the spotlight in a chic garden center setting that includes fashion, style, cuisine, and camaraderie.
2462: Mercedes & Andy
Mercedes and Andy Lilienthal are a wife and husband team who are competing in the 2024 Alcan 5000 Rally driving the new INEOS Grenadier. They will tackle a ten-day, 5,000 miles journey of blisteringly cold temps, navigating their way through treacherous conditions, abundantly large wildlife, and fighting off sleep deprivation. Their INEOS Grenadier is from INEOS Automotive, a new automaker. This 4x4 workhorse is a powerhouse of new, innovation. It's a recently developed vehicle designed to fulfill a marketplace gap after Jaguar Land Rover (now JLR) stopped production on its famed boxy Defender in 2016 and went after the luxury and technology segment.
2461 Colin Garrett
Colin Garrett is a professional race car driver from South Boston, Virginia, and at just 23 he defies the conventional path to motorsports success. Starting at 15, Colin rapidly ascended, becoming a Track Champion at 17. His diverse racing career spans NASCAR's Xfinity and Truck Series, SRO TC America, and Pirelli GT4 America. Beyond accolades, Garrett is a trailblazer for social impact. Notably, he pioneered crowdfunded Xfinity Series cars for military nonprofits, financed stem cell treatments for a veteran, and unveiled the first Braille paint scheme with a blind-owned sponsor. In 2023, he secured the SRO TC America TCX class championship, further solidifying his disruptive legacy in motorsports. Most recently, Colin was named the 12th top driver globally for BMW.

Lauren Goodman is the Supervising Producer of Media and Exhibitions at Revs Institute in Naples, Florida. Widely regarded as one of the top automotive museums in the world, Revs Institute is dedicated to the study of the automobile and offers visitors an exceptional opportunity to view over 100 of the most influential automobiles of our time. After earning her MFA in screenwriting from Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts, Lauren spent the next six years in Hollywood in creative development for film and television, as well as in production for TV and new media advertising. A chance visit to Revs Institute led to volunteering at the museum and researching the history of women in racing.

With well over a decade of experience covering prestigious events such as: California's Biggest Truck event, Truck Mania, the California Bay Area's favorite grudge racer Team Boddie No Excuses, and Discovery Channel's Street Outlaws No Prep Kings, Annette has honed her craft. She has spent over 20 years in marketing, is an active member of SEMA, SBN SEMA, and PRI.

Alan O'Neill is the Founder and Owner of SEU Motorsports where their goal is to develop mechanics and engineers and not drivers. His seven-step process addresses the needs of the motorsport sector through bespoke qualifications, a 3D virtual learning environment, embracing inclusion, focusing on race series, specialty tools, race bay cabinet and race trailers. Alan as been a high-performance driving instructor and coach since 2012 and driven in numerous race series and rallies. He grew up in around motorsports, has a deep passion for engineering, and works every day as SEU Motorsports to fill the much-needed pool of mechanics and engineers in the racing community.
2457: Anita Lewis
Anita Lewis is a fine artist whose art portrays the speed and motion of racecars on the track. She received her education in the arts studying abstract art, rendering illustrations, drafting, and interior design. In the early 80s she migrated to Germany, integrating into the European lifestyle and began rendering BMW car parts and painting racecars for German friends. She was also a narrow selection of artists rendering for Porsche in Zuffenhausen. Today you'll find her paintings at a wide variety of automotive events including Barrett Jackson, Velocity International and at the Signature Galleries in Las Vegas.

Chris Story is a motorsports photographer who focuses on drag racing. He was born in Durango, Colorado and his family moved a lot when Chris was a kid. He joined the Army at 17 to pursue a career in IT and later worked on cars. Eventually Chris felt like there was more in life that he wanted to do and began chasing his passion in photography, something he's done for over 10 years. For the past 3 years it has been his profession. He shoots drag racing and more specifically Drag and Drive events. Chris's enjoyment comes from covering and documenting history, capturing moments for the drivers and people so that their experiences can be captured for a lifetime.

Barry Alt is a 25-year veteran in the digital marketing space and the proud owner of Motorhead Digital. His mission is centered around elevating auto restoration, performance, and race shops through the implementation of his innovative Site and Marketing Maximizer™ programs that are designed to supercharge his client's websites, social media, and entire online presence to attract more lucrative leads. A graduate of auto services and auto body trade school, Barry's industry expertise earned him a spot on the SEMA ARMO Select Committee. He is a dynamic speaker at events including the SEMA Show and he's a featured contributor to THE SHOP Magazine and a respected aftermarket industry podcast guest. Russ Mitchell is a Staff Writer at the Los Angeles Times. He covers the epic transition to electric vehicles and energy storage for the Los Angeles Times, blending technology, policy, and consumerism, with a particular focus on California. He's worked on staff at publications including Business Week, Wired, and Condé Nast Portfolio. Russ is a graduate of the University of Illinois, he also studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Vannevar Bush fellow.
2453: Richard Jenkins
Richard Jenkins has been involved in motor racing research for over 20 years. The first outlet for his work was the website oldracingcars.com, where his "Where Are They Now? Section presents several thousand profiles of racing drivers. His first book, Richie Ginther: Motor Racing's Free Thinker, was published to universal praise in 2020. This book won the Royal Automobile Club Motoring Book of the Year Award. His second biography, Mike Spence: Out of the Shadows, he turned his attention to the history of the team rather than the man. His newest book is a comprehensive history of the Tyrrell team titled Tyrrell: The Story of the Tyrrell Racing Organisation. The foreword is by Sir Jackie Stewart who drove for Tyrrell for many years, and it is published by EVRO.

Rita Campana is the owner at Campana Modena, one of the oldest body shops in the province of Modena, Italy. Founded in 1947 by her grandfather, handed down to her father their CEO, and now in Rita's hands, Campana has over 10,000 square meters in a variety of buildings where they restore, repair, and create modern, classic, and vintage racing cars. They are an authorized Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, and Maserati service center and the level of handmade services are the best in the world. You can see some of their most recent builds in the new Movie Ferrari featuring cars they built from scratch for the film.

David Wachs is the CEO of Handwrytten where they have brought back the lost art of letter writing through scalable, robot-based solutions that write your personal notes in pen.
