Matthew Field is the world's leading authority on The Italian Job. In 2009 he co-produced and directed a feature-length documentary about the film for Paramount Pictures. He has written numerous books on cinema including the best selling Some Kind Of Hero: The Remarkable Story of the James Bond Films. Matthew has worked on feature films around the world producing behind the scenes marketing materials and most recently completed work on Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again for Universal Pictures. Matthew s has directed a number of documentaries including a one-hour retrospective to accompany the 3D re-release of James Cameron's Terminator 2 in 2018. He was the editorial consultant on the official MGM film Everything or Nothing, which marked the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film series. He currently serves on the board of The Ian Fleming Foundation that owns over 20 vehicles used in the popular series.

Rob Sass is Editor-in-Chief of Porsche Panorama, the official publication of the Porsche Club of America, also known as the PCA. He is also the PCA's Director of Content, and his role was recently responsible for the launch of Rennbow, the Porsche Color Wiki which is the largest collection of Porsche car color images on the Web, all organized by color. Rob started his career as a lawyer; a prosecutor with the Missouri Attorney General's office. He transitioned to automotive publishing over 15 years ago, first as a freelancer. His work appeared in Car and Driver, Sports Car Market, Classic and Sports Car, The New York Times, and the Chicago Tribune. He spent six years at Hagerty Insurance and was Editor-in-Chief of Chevrolet's official brand publication New Roads.

1322: Gunner Mench is the President of the Porsche Club

Gunner Mench is the President of the Porsche Club of America chapter on the Big Island of Hawaii. He and wife Elli own Harbor Gallery, an island fixture that's been there for 30 years, where they support over 200 local Island artists and their creations. Born in Germany, Gunner immigrated to the US with his parents when he was just 2 years old. His father had a '59 1600 Super 356 Porsche that instilled his passion for air-cooled German cars. His father was a Porsche Club of America member and that legacy was handed down to Gunner who worked to create the PCA Club on the island of Hawaii after purchasing a Porsche 356. Gunner was an ASC Certified Mechanic and today he is an avid air-cooled Porsche collector. Shout out to past Cars Yeah Podcast and TV guest Sara Dakarmen for introducing me to Gunner.

Tom was a Chief Designer at Mazda North America and worked at the Mazda Headquarters in Japan where he managed the Chief Designers group that creates the entire Mazda car line. His accomplishments there include the MPV, MX 5, RX7, Miata "M-Coupe" and the "M-Speedster" concept cars. Dr. Matano has been enhancing the Industrial Design department at the Academy of Art University since 2002.

After competing in several amateur endurance road races, he noticed there was a need for better safety products and he couldn't find anything on the market that met his wishes, so he invented one. He came up with FireSack, a simple idea where a wearable bag drapes over the head and shoulders with a large, kangaroo-style pocket that holds a fire extinguisher. It provides quick access to fire suppression and reduces fatigue while cutting down the time it takes a safety worker to engage the extinguisher.

Hannah Grisham is a young and upcoming race car driver who started driving at the age of 3, was on a motorcycle at the age of 4, and racing karts by the time she was 6 years old. At the age of 16 she was racing spec Miatas and today, at 19, Hannah has over 300 races from the club to national levels. She holds multiple karting class championships and she's earned the IKF Expert designation. She is the second female to win the prestigious IKF Lake Speed Achievement of Excellence in Karting award. And she has earned the So-Cal Sprinters Driver of the Year and High Point Eagle awards as well. Hannah has earned the nicknames "The Closer" and "Hannah-Zillah".

1306: Barry Rodenberg is the General Manager at Chevrolet

Barry Rodenberg is the General Manager at Chevrolet of Stevens Creek, the Presenter of this year's Coyote Creek Concours. He started working in the automobile business in 1979 as a salesperson, was promoted to Sales Manager and eventually partnering with John Anderson. They owned three Chevrolet dealerships and then six stores that were sold to Auto Nation in 1998. After a year off he and John partnered again and bought their old rival Courtesy Chevrolet and another store, then selling both businesses in 2011. He then worked at a Honda store in Palo Alto where he and his team built it up into a great success until his retirement in 2017.

Myles Kitchen is the Emcee for the new Coyote Creek Concours. During his career as an engineer and entrepreneur, his focus was on electronics and technology for the automotive industry spending time at Motorola, National Semiconductor, Intel, and others. Today he owns a specialized consultancy assisting start-ups to Fortune 100 firms in automotive electronic technology. Myles is an accomplished vintage racer, instructor and a three-time Champion of the United States Road Racing Championship (USRRC) Seniors Tour. Myles is believed to be the only person known to have campaigned a Lamborghini Countach in a sanctioned race in North America. He is a past President and Director of the Ferrari Club of America, Pacific Region, and he is a lifetime member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, and member of the International Association of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

1302: A motor racing broadcaster, commentator, Will Buxton

A motor racing broadcaster, commentator and journalist, Will Buxton has had the rare pleasure of turning his great passion into something resembling work for the better part of 20 years. His career has taken him around the world countless times to report on everything from Formula 1 to World Rally to Indycar. While the happy mistake of falling into television as a Formula 1 pitlane reporter in the United States for the SPEED channel and later NBC Sports, followed by his current role as the first Digital Presenter in F1 history, has made him one of the most recognized faces and voices in the sport, his first love was and remains writing. Will lives in Oxfordshire, England, and he's here today to talk about his new book: My Greatest Defeat: Stories of hardship and hope from motor racing's finest heroes.
