802: Ted Sohier is the voice of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix and sits on their Executive Committee.
Ted Sohier is a member of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix's Executive Committee. It's an annual event now in its 35th year that takes place July 7 through the 15. He is a retired career broadcaster in radio and television who is also a lifelong automotive enthusiast. Ted began competing in SCCA autocross and moved to road racing earning a National license and winning several minor championships in the Northeast driving a Showroom Stock B, Chevy Citation in the early 80s. Ted got involved in the PVGP at the beginning to help run the race as an announcer and today he is the event's Chief Announcer. He and a huge team help make the event a reality and they raise monies for local charities. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is 10+ days of automotive events, car shows, racing, and much, much more.
801: Bernie Martin is a branding and marketing profession who helps put on the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix and The Cortile.
Bernie Martin is the Founder and President of Rapid Production Marketing in Pittsburgh. It's a branding and consulting agency that develops strategies and tactical implementation. A long time resident of Pittsburgh, Bernie has combines his passion for cars and in 2009 created The Cortile in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix week. The Cortile takes place at the Bob O'Conner Gold Course at Shenley Park. It is a unique car show as it is one of the few events during the race weekend managed by the PVGP Association. Most of the other car marque shows are managed by the individual car clubs. As the Managing Director of the event Bernie and his team bring a wide range of Italian marque cars to this very special show with this year's highlight being Alfa Romeo.

Spike Feresten is the co-CEO at Hangar 56 Media. He is a past Automotive Emoter at Esquire Network where he had three successful seasons on the TV show Car Matchmaker. He is a former presenter at FOX Television Studios, he was a Writer/Producer at the TV show Seinfeld where he earned three Emmy nominations, and on Late Night with David Letterman where he earned five Emmy nominations. Today Spike is launching a new project, it's a cars and comedy podcast titled Spike's Car Radio. He records live from the porch of his favorite breakfast spot, the Malibu Kitchen, from 10:00 AM till noon on Sundays, where you'll frequently see one of his cool old cars parked about front. He'll answer all of your Car Matchmaking questions and talk about cars over a cup of coffee and a tasty breakfast.

Richard Webb is an automotive artist whose passion for design, the romance of classic cars, and race cars is reflected in his paintings and drawings. He's owned over 374 classic cars in his life and while he's tried retiring a few time, Richard quickly discovered painting to be his encore career. His art begins as a design process with meticulous attention to composition, the backdrop, landscapes, architectural icons, and detail in his automotive subject matter. Mostly working with acrylic paint he mixes sand, modeling paste, epoxy, and sometimes deep set wood panels to create his images. In addition to painting on canvas he's been knows to use nontraditional surfaces including surfboards, doors, and barn wood. While most of his work is easily recognizable Richard has painted abstracts, portraits, and landscapes as well. Richard has been commissioned by art collectors, auto aficionados, and major global brands. His work can be found in the homes and businesses of art collectors worldwide.

797: Megan Gilkes is a 16 year old reacer who competes in a Formula Vee with Vallis Motor Sport.
Megan Gilkes is a 16 year old racer from Richmond Hill, Canada who's been in the driver's seat since the age of nine. She started with karting and won the Barbados 2011 Easykart 60cc half-season championship. A crash and recovery kept her off the track in 2012 through 2014 but she was back at it in 2015 winning multiple races in the Ottowa Challenge Karting Series. Last year she graduated the Skip Barber Racing School and became a member of Dare To Be Different and competed in her first real race car in a Miller Oils F1200 at Mosport. By her fourth race she earned a second place in the US Majors series and today competes in a Formula Vee at Mosport, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with the Vallis Motor Sport team. This summer she'll run in South Africa and Brazil with the Challenge Cup Series.

Mark Pribanic is a vintage car enthusiast who lives in Neptune Beach, Florida. Unlike many car collectors, Mark drives his 1958 Porsche 356 and Brumos Porsche race inspired 1958 VW bus daily. We're talking over 275,000 miles through 33 states over 19 years of ownership. For over six years he has organized the Bulli Brigade Vintage VW bus event where the mission is to promote and preserve 1967 and earlier split-window VW bus enthusiasts. Mark is an entrepreneur and owns a catering business and when he's not working you'll find him at IMSA road races, HSR Road Races, at vintage Porsche events or traveling around the USA in his number 59, Brumos tribute race bus or his 356 Porsche.

Chris Collard is the Editor-in-Chief of the Overland Journal, an international Vehicle-dependent adventure magazine. He took a leap toward his passion and left a 17-year position to pursue a career in photojournalism. That was the late 90s and since then he's published hundreds of articles and thousands of images in over a dozen publications on six continents. He's traveled the world shooting in the outback of Australia, the Moroccan Sahara, the jungles of Venezuela to the Kalahari Desert. He raced James Garner's 1970 Oldsmobile 442, the "grabber Olds" with off-road legend Rod Hall and he drove Mark Smith's original Expedicion de las Americas Jeep CJ-7 across South America just to name a few of his many adventures. In 2013 Chris was inducted in to the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame as a pioneering journalist.

Richard Prince is an automotive photographer, journalist, and author who has been shooting since 1991. Involved in the car hobby since his childhood, he founded a vintage car restoration business after completing graduate school in 1988 and operated that business until selling it in 1995. He began writing and providing photography to various car magazines and accumulated a wide range of experience photographing vehicles, motorsports, events, facilities, and people for many of the world's major automobile manufacturers and a diverse array of other companies, including: Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Cadillac, Ferrari, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, and many others. Andy Beckman is the Archivist at the Studebaker National Museum in South Bend, Indiana. He has been with the museum since 1999 where their state-of-the-art, 55,000 square-foot facility, has been open since 2005. The building has three levels and features galleries and storage facilities where they honor and perpetuate the legacy of the rich industrial heritage of the South Bend area and the Studebaker marque. He also serves as President of the Society of Automotive Historians. Andy grew up in a family of Studebaker owners, and drives a 1964 Studebaker Daytona Hardtop. It's an annual event that takes place during Car Week in August where the other events vintage racing, Concorso Italiano, The Quail, the Pebble Beach Concours and numerous other events. Carmel by the Sea Concours on the Avenue is on Ocean Avenue in the heart of Carmel and it kicks off Car Week on a Tuesday benefiting the Carmel Foundation. Theirs is a gathering of collectible cars, race cars, and multi-marques, where originality and participation are the focus with a dash of fun thrown in, all adding to the casual nature of the show. Doug started this concours 11 years ago after retiring from a career in real estate development. Renee Brinkerhoff is the Founder and Driver of Valkyrie Racing where she currently races a 1956 Porsche 356 A coupe in road and rally racing events. In 2013, at the age of 57, in her first race car of any kind, Renee became the first woman in the 30-year history to win her class in the La Carrera Panamericana, an event known as the world's most dangerous road race. Raised in the U.S. and Southeast Asia her enthusiasm for life was no doubt shaped by her surroundings. For 30 years a voice in her head told her she would some day race a car. In her three years of running the La Carrera Panamericana, Renee continues to be the only woman driver amidst 80 plus men.

Scott Dishman is the Executive Director of the BMW Car Club of America Foundation, overseeing a nationwide car-control program for teenagers, and the largest BMW Museum & Archive in the Americas. Scott spent 21 years in corporate marketing and brand strategy starting with Automobile Magazine and eventually serving as the Director of Communications for the $3 billion Michelin consumer brand in the U.S. In 2006 Scott left the corporate world to work on behalf of Children at risk and led the launch of The Family Effect. He paints a wide variety of subject matters however his passions lie with transportation including automobiles, aircraft, and especially trains. Steam locomotives became the basis for his initial foray into commercial art and he is a member of the Guild of Railway Artists. He is also captivated by wildlife and that passion grew while on safari in South Africa. Bob Marlow is a veteran motorsports writer and speedway public address announcer from New Jersey. Bob's been to more than 100 speedways in the US and Canada covering everything from the local short tracks to Formula 1 and IndyCar. Most recently Bob was at Phoenix Raceway, where he was on the microphone for the Vintage Desert Classic vintage IndyCar event that was part of the Verizon Indycar Series' weekend. And he just completed a 15-year run as the lead announcer for the "Gambler's Classic" midwinter indoor racing events in Atlantic City. Now retired from announcing, today Bob is the Motorsports Editor for CarShowSafari.com, a web site with the ambitious tagline of "Every Car Event, Everywhere." Bob is also a classic car enthusiast, and can be seen roaming the aisles at Hershey every October.
779: Dana Newquist is the President of the Santa Barbara AACA Regionand co-chairs the Montecito Motor Classic.
Dana Newquist is the President of the Santa Barbara AACA Region (Antique Automobile Club of America). His is a lifetime of automotive enthusiasm that began when just prior to graduating from High School, in 1965 when Dana purchased a rusty old 1957 Chevy 150 2 door. It was the first of hundreds of cars, first fast, later slow. His passion for cars has lead to a collection of 16 cars today, mostly pre-war American of various marques. Dana's involvement with the AACA has helped him make connections and affiliations with Museums and he is a Board Member of the Murphy Auto Museum. He's helped chair and organize local car shows and he currently co-chairs the Montecito Motor Classic and Father's Day Show at the Santa Barbara Club that takes place annually.
778: Tim Willard is a Master Mechanic and Restorer who works at Dennison International on Pebble Beach winning vintage cars.
Tim Willard was four years old when he sat on his father's lap and steered the family's Pontiac Chieftain down a dirt road. In high school he worked at a local Alfa Romeo dealership, learning his craft on Italian marques including Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini. He was a race mechanic with some top teams competing in Formula Atlantic, Indy Lights, and IMSA GTP. Later he restored cars with past Cars Yeah guest Butch Dennison*, who then worked with Pete Lovely at Pete Lovely Racing. He served as a tech with BMW Northwest and then spent 15 years at Griot's Garage as a product development specialist and then a curator and restorer of the owner's private collection. Today Tim is a senior restoration technician at Dennison International in Puyallup Washington where they restore Pebble Beach winning automobiles and service vintage race cars and touring cars for their clients.
