We are a relatively new team and learning right along with you. Our assumption is that you know very little to nothing about the sport but are interested in learning to drive better and eventually maybe even race in a local event of interest. We will cover all forms of racing and hope to be entertaining as well as educational.

Our team worked with Jackie Andrews as our coach for the Grid Life event at NJMP. Jeremy and Nick were in the advanced HPDE group in their E46 BMW 3-series street'ish cars. Jennifer was in our B Spec Fit in HPDE and Vicki was in HPDE in our new E46 race car but switched to our Honda Fit when we had a mechanical issue. Bill was also in the B Spec Fit and competed in the Sundae Cup series, securing a solid last place. One of the fundamental ways to diagnose a car not running is to look at the supply of Air, Fuel, and spark to the engine. DwD 0479: Double Sucking What is a DwD without Ben, well we try again here with guests Mental and Jeremy standing in for Ben. One area we wanted to cover is that there are multiple factors that can affect your absolute and relative performance on track, especially as you progress. One of the hardest areas we have seen is trying to determine the relative contributions of what part is driver induced and what fraction can be attributed to the car, car setup, and track conditions. Sometimes it may not be "you", but even then "you" can often work around as best you can when the car you are in is all you have. One is a builder's class where you can build and enter almost anything that complies with a fairly open rule book. Other racing classes are more specific on what cars and modification are allowed and focus more on the difference being largely due to the driver skill and relatively less on the car build. Spec class racing is usually more of a driver's class type of racing. We discuss some of the differences between these two types of series and help show the advantages and disadvantages of each. GHiT 0471: Zach Caldwell Live from the Vannonball Great American Bro'd Trip Zach Caldwell calls in live for GingerMan raceway from his fourth straight race weekend in the race van to conclude the 2023 Great American Vannonball Bro'd Trip. Why race in a minivan? Why race 4 weekends in a row? Why a 2006 Dodge Caravan is the world's greatest race car? How tired can one person be? All this and more in this one. Bill has some terrible ideas brewing. In summary, the Great American Bro'd trip started off in Detroit and after 2,100 miles race 1 at Thunder Hill. A swift and easy 700 miles to High Plains Raceway. A few gallons of gas and 1,700 miles to NJMP Thunderbolt. And a final leg to a surprising entry to GingerMan raceway. To get back home after this, it was only 350 miles that took around 12 fatigue induced hours, lol.
