We have a guest, and her name is Elana (pronounced El-AH-nah) Scherr. I say that because I always pronounce her name wrong even though I've known her for years. In fact, Elana is the person who handed me the keys to one of my favorite cars on the planet. Now, she holds down her writing skill at Hot Rod where she pens lovely pieces and sticks her pretty face in front of the camera to schmooze with the likes of Don Prudhomme himself. Still, we need to talk about new cars to start... but we get over that pretty quickly because our guest is Elana and old cars rule. Especially the old cars sitting in her driveway.
The "We're funny in this one" Edition
Jeff Glucker and Blake Z. Rong still have a bit of NYC on their minds so the initial topics include the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and the Porsche GT3. From there though the topics run from Tesla and its new Crazy Calculator (patent-pending) to the Road & Track revival and on to racing at the 24 Hours of LeMons. Apparently this is the episode we decided to finally be funny too... so that's nice.

This is a mega podcast because we're doing it on the road. Coming to you from the back of a boat at the 2013 NY International Auto Show, Jeff Glucker and Blake Z. Rong are joined by Alex Kierstein from Road & Track, Travis Okulski and Raphael Orlove from Jalopnik, Aaron Gold from About.com, and Mike Juergens from QuattroWorld. Not only that, we get the owner of the company responsible for the boat (Cherubini Yachts) to come onboard and join in the fun. Dave Cherubini talks about classic cars and classically cool boats.
