Do Family Values Matter In Detailing?
Hi #community we are curious how you think family values matter for your business? Many of us will fall in love, grow a family and live happily ever after. Others will feel in love, make babies and then go through a life changing divorce. Starting a new series with DJ Patterson @djpatterson.biz and Marshall @totalautosolutions on how important family life matters for Detailers growing a long term business. Today we have Jimbo @jimbobalaam to share his story on marriage and life as Detailer. Greatest takeaway is needing to find a balance between being selfish with person desires and devotion to family life. DJ and Marshall enjoy Josh The Boss Hogg from Clown Shoes Brewery. DJ rates 2.5 pints and Marshall 3 pints! Info on Josh The Boss Hog (clownshoesbeer.com) Ingredients: Plum Puree, Aged in WhistlePig Samurai Scientist Rye Whiskey Barrels Our friends at WhistlePig only release a new version of The Boss Hog every so often. A world-class distiller testing the limits of technique and style with a limited release over a decade in the making? Here, take all our money. When the opportunity presented itself to age a beer in barrels that held their latest release of The Boss Hog, you could say we were a little excited. Weâve always admired WhistlePigâs whiskey and our shared commitments to pushing the boundaries of our respective crafts, and it felt right to combine forces for a truly special barrel-aged release. This Barleywine aged in the same Japanese Umeshu barrels that aged The Samurai Scientist, the sixth release in WhistlePigâs Boss Hog series. With the strong umeshu and rye whiskey notes imparted to these barrels after aging each for over fifteen years combined, head brewer Dan Lipke crafted Josh the Boss Hog specifically with these barrels in mind. Full-bodied malt sweetness and the addition of plum puree in the brewing process made this rich base beer an ideal candidate for added layers of complex flavors from its time in these barrels. Cheers to WhistlePig, and to all the Boss Hogs out there.
Building Trust In Your Brand - Greg Masterson
As we continue our journey through Industry Vibes, we must ask the question how important is Trust? If we believe we are in a service based business then how should we view trust? Marshall @totalautosolutions guides us though this discussion with Greg Masterson @mastersonswax so that we can develop our own ways of building trust with clients. Letâs share in the discussion and comment on how you build trustâŠ.
How Important Is Trust In Detailing?
Detailers we are in a service based business so how important is trust? We can all agree it takes trust in not only in the quality of service but also with being inside a customers car. Trust is so important in growing your business that Nick @vegas.rides and Marshall @totalautosolutions sit down and talk how they have developed trust and keys for detailers to use in ramping up their marketing efforts with trust!
Paint Assasian Hour w/ Anthony Carrera
As we celebrate #community inside Paint Assassins, Jason Bruno invites on Anthony Carrera. Anthony has a very unique but very traditional story for Mobile Detailers who can build up a clientele list. See Anthony learned to hustle and as he hustled he learned to trust grit in his gut. The key take away from this episode is that Anthony has met challenges in his career and always has navigated through them. Marshall drinks a Juice Pack Double Dry Hopped Pale Ale from Tupps Brewery and he rates it a 4.5. We hope to see everyone from the #community at MTE Orlando 2021 and use code Pints at registration to save 15%.
How will 2021 Compare w/ 2001?
In 2001 our world shut down, planes didn't fly and people were scared to go out of their house. Sound familiar? Well in 2001 the Government didn't give out stimulus money to small business owners and so our guest Manny aka Fonzell Brown was forced to close his doors. Since then he has be a staple in our local detailing Tulsa market but his business never recovered. Many of have fortunately received large stimulus checks this year and it saved out businesses. Some Detailers are hoping for more stimulus money in 2021 but what happens when that runs out? How will our businesses be? Hopefully thriving and very successful! Let's dive into this discussion with Manny @fonzellbrown Marshall @totalautosolutions and the #community Pub. There are moments of the pub that it got graphic in language and we did our best to edit all that out. Marshall and Manny enjoy Accumulation from New Belgium Brewery. Manny Rates it 4.5 pints and Marshall 4.5 pints. Accumulation Notes (NewBelgium.com)....This white IPA is a direct revolt against the longstanding tradition of brewing dark beers for the winter. Crafted with Mosaic and Amarillo hop varietalsâand a bit of wheatâthis IPA will keep your long nights glowing blizzard white. How To Sell Ceramic Coatings
Welcome to the Helping Young Detailers! Over the past years there has been a sales tactic for pushing a five year coating. Some detailers have been able to generate sales, however the majority havenât been able to capture local market share. There are so many daily drivers on the road that wonât ever need five years of protection. So, how can you the Detailer decide what is best for your customer and generate ceramic coating sales? In this discussion with Nick @vegas.rides and Marshall @totalautosolutions we examine two key ways Detailers should form their sales pitch. First, we must believe in what we are selling to best meet the needs of the customer. Second, we must believe in long term business that allows us to keep customers throughout our carrier. When we combine these two points into our sales process it will generate a greater opportunity for success!
New Series Pilot - Industry Vibes w/ Greg Masterson
Welcome to the new Series with Greg Masterson called Industry Vibes where we look at the detailing industry and discuss whatâs poppin. Today Greg and Marshall talk through three views of the industry. The most interesting take away would be why there is so much negativity in our industry. While it is true that there are simply just negative people, it does not give business owners an excuse for being negative. It is much more difficult to run a business with a negative mindset vs a positive mindset. Greg takes a shot of tequila and so if you have one close then grab it and enjoy the new series!
How To Get Customers Through Face To Face Sales
The number one question that we hear from Detailers is how do I get customers? Are you wanting to grow your detailing business? Here for a #freethoughtfriday is Marshall @totalautosolutions to explain how Detailers can use face to face sales to grow their business. Here is the main take away from this episodeâŠthere are two key sales moments that we must plan for. The first sales moment happens at direct opportunities. The second sales moment is when Detailers create opportunities and Brandon from @timms_mobile_detailing is doing one of the best jobs we have seen. Are you going to enjoy a beer during this episode then hit us up on IG @pintspolishingpodcast and let us know what beer your drinking đ»
