The Porsche Talk podcast returns with Marc’s review of his road trip from New York To Rennsport Reunion. He tells us about the amazing places and roads he experienced (in an SUV) and the awesome people he has met along the way. Many of these were listeners of the podcast. Well, it’s finally happened, the crossing of the streams (no, not those streams Marc!). Marc and Ajmal are joined by the Curb and Canyon crew of Andy and James. Even though it all starts with a Whole Lotta Lovin' it’s a proper grump fest! Jeeps, Porsches, Lotus Carltons, bum coolers…nothing is off the agenda (although Ajmal wishes Cayennes were off the agenda, forever!) Andy misses his GT4 and James says he once fitted in a small hatchback, the revelations just keep coming! The Porsche Talk podcast returns after a short hiatus and its car troubles galore! Marc’s brand new family wagon has given up the ghost, Ajmal’s 996 still has bits falling off it (but that’s not going to stop it being used!). The topics range from the Singer DLS Turbo to the 357 Speedster via the return of the Honey Badger. Marc is finally able to process his amazing weekend at Le Mans and take in what happened…and he’s already planning how he can go back! The guys discuss why Endurance racing isn’t as popular as Formula 1 and what a WEC Drive To Survive would look like. Ajmal has a catalogue of disasters with his 996 but is planning on doing some parts shopping for his 912. Porsche’s First Le Mans Winner - 356SL
With Marc recently returned from Le Mans, this show stays on theme. The boys meet Cameron Healy, the owner of the Number 46 356SL that won its class at Le Mans in 1951. Cameron shares the amazing story of this car, how it entered his life, and the journey of one of Porsche's most important factory race cars, from discovery through restoration, and returning to Circuit de la Sarthe. Porsche Talk with just the boys with a warm trombone...
After an unplanned couple of weeks off from podcasting, Ajmal and Marc catch up on all things life. Oh, and a bit of Porsche Talk.
