Episode 254 - Adam and Abe share beers with two of the fastest street car drivers in the country at #GRIDLIFE Round 2 at Summit Point. Paul Curley's wicked C5 Z06 and Luke McGrew's Viper ACR run in the Track Modified class, and battle for the top spot at any event they attend. Paul's fast immediately, often attributed to his autocross background. Luke reviews data constantly and improves lap over lap. It's a coinflip on who will win on any given day.

From the early days as a competitor to now, we cover the evolution of drifting in the states, how it differs from drifting in Japan, and what it's like to be a judge at the top level. Even if you're not the biggest drifting fan, you'll learn a little more about the sport and what the judges are looking for and gain a new appreciation of this niche of motorsport.

Episode 250 - Austin and Mike talk tunes with Mitch McKee. Mitch got his start at AMS Performance and then moved over to Cobb Tuning. He's a guy that's made a lot of things you know about happen, but may not have ever heard of him. Mike calls Mitch, "A tuning badass" and uses him to tune his own cars. We hear from Mitch about how tuning has changed over the years, his favorite car to tune, and learn how tuning differs in different genres of motorsport.

Costa Gialamas, Crew Chief extraordinaire
Episode 245 - Costa Gialamas has been behind the scenes of major racing efforts since the late 90s. From Pikes Peak with Rod Millen in 1998, the only Baja 2000 held in the year 2000 (an extra long deser race to commemorate the year) to building, prepping, and competing with one of the first LS swapped drift cars, Costa has been part of some amazing programs. Mike Kojima and Austin Cabot caught a rare free moment with Costa in the SlipAngle MotoIQ studios to chat about everything from his history as a crew chief, to builds and the tech involved in current drift programs (it will surprise you even if you aren't a fan of drifting). In the late 1990s Eddie left his job at a bank, started working at Mackin Industries and worked his way up to being their General Manager. In the process, he helped grow some of the best known names in the import industry such as Volks, Rays, etc. His new venture, Titan 7 Wheels, brings all his knowledge of the wheel market, production, and design into play and it shows in their products.
