Episode 34: XJ40s with Paul Keating
Paul has done an incredible job at celebrating the much maligned model in Jaguar's history, the XJ40, via social media. Through his XJ40 register on Facebook, he has now obtained a record of over 100,000 of the Jaguar XJ40s made and is actively promoting the virtues of owning this era of XJ6. Geoff Johnston is one of the leading lights on the regional club scene within the JEC. Geoff works tirelessly to run his regional meets covering Birmingham and the West Midlands and leads a region that could be described as one of the busiest in the UK.Growing up in Birmingham during the 1960s and 70s, Geoff worked hard to achieve his goal of owning Jaguars. Tim de la Fosse celebrated the completion of his XK120 restoration at Blenheim Palace on the Jaguar display at Salon Privé. The car caught the judges eye for its incredible attention to detail and the passion that Tim clearly had for the car and its painstaking restoration. Tim shares that same passion with us on the podcast this week, as he talks us through the project and some of the challenges it presented him with along the way. Plus Tom Robinson gives us the low down on JEC Racing as the next round of this year's championship took place at Donington Park.
