In this week's episode, Steve Miller sits down with former Land Rover Monthly magazine editor Patrick Cruywagen to hear his stories of how he made his way to the helm of LRM.From cooking everyone lunch on a Friday on one of his famous braais, to making early-on mistakes on social media, to the South African way of doing things, Patrick shares some never-heard-before stories of his history with magazines, buying his first Land Rover in the UK and which upgrades he chose for his first Tdi-powered 110.Pat explains his exploits buying a crispy Disco 2, and the process of importing his beloved "Green Mamba" Defender 110 2.8i petrol from South Africa – to the detriment of Steve's Discovery 1's head gasket.He recalls his time covering the G4 Challenge, following the athletes and immersing himself in the adventure spirit, and travelling to Moscow to get a feature on a Series Land Rover that went somewhat awry. Autojumbles, tech tips, 90 vs 110 and fixing Freelanders
In this week's episode, Martin and Steve are back from the first LRM Autojumble of the year – Malvern. It was a cracking day of buying, selling and looking at loads of lovely Land Rovers. Neil Watterson talks the end of LRO, off-road navigation and driving an ambulance to Spain
