me. No, okay, now you can do the Saatchi. Do what you want to do side check. Do re mi
fa solati. Too loud. Do do do. Too close. Do. You're not supposed to try and stick the
mic in your mouth. I know, it gets loud. Now with what the video. I think we should do
it. What happened? I know you're too loud, Gary. What happened? Oh, hang on, let me go.
What happened to lunch? We've been having a lunch. You're not feeling too good. No, no,
just. Confessions of all four. No, it's like, well, it's time that I say if you wanted to drink,
but I'll get a hesitate. Yeah, no, no, no. No, no drinks. No. On the TV. Yeah, so I'll start
in my car. Good morning. Good evening. Good afternoon. Oh, we're right in there. We're not
doing the you want to go straight into it. No pro. I want to make sure you don't cut out
in. No soundcheck. No tip for tat. No. We don't already have we okay with someone trying to put
the microphone in their mouth. Okay. Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Good morning.
Good afternoon. Good evening. Listening to the all talk car podcast, Australia Day Edition,
hosted by Peter. I'm having a reporter time. Security's here. We've got the live audience
doing a unique mic test. I'm the mop bucket. And a mop and a buck. So I went to lunch today. I
started my diet. But it wasn't in years resolution started today. No, I started it on Tuesday night.
What's the day? Thursday at the time of recording. And what have you done? I've just
today went for lunch. Like I've had been sticking to the diet. No energy drinks. You saw a case of
mineral water. You said you're cleaning yourself out. Yeah. Well, what are you doing? I'm not
going to promote the brand because I know you're drinking something or no, no, it's like meals.
But what the meals are your meals? Yeah, but the meals are like, they're not fucking
supersize me. They're not Tom's size. And, and it's not fried. It's not it's just natural. It's
food. Can you bring my next time? So my body at the moment, why am I telling you this? It's sort
of it's like gaseous. It's full of air. Look at that body. I know. Look at that body. So a few
big trips this year. We've got Europe coming up mid year. Have a look good for summer. I don't want
to get pushed in like last time they thought there was whales on the beach and I'm putting buckets
of water on me. So try to avoid that. And Vegas, so Vegas, we, it's a big year this year. There's
no underage children there. So we're going to have a big one. So I'm on my diet and today,
I can't come dinner because I'm still full for lunch. That's fine. Happy Australia Day.
Yes. Happy Australia Day. Can I tell you the funniest thing? I could not stop laughing. So
Australia of the Year, come and be her name, is an astronaut. An Australian astronaut. That's right,
yes. She's never been to space. That's like getting your driver's license and saying I'm a racing
car driver, but I've never done a race. Well, I did say that. Exhibiting. How could you be an
astronaut? But you've trained so what? I thought she'd gone to space. She's gone. I was thinking the
same thing. Yeah, like she's never been to space. Is it like racing? Do you have to buy a seat? I
don't know. I mean, even Katy Perry's been to space. Is she? Yeah. People don't call her an
astronaut. She's not an astronaut. She's a singer. Okay, she calls herself a singer. I've never
seen a singer, but maybe she's the Kylie Minogue. Mike, fuck, we're gonna get sued this episode.
So I couldn't stop laughing. I was on the couch killing myself. No comment? No, I'm just thinking
about your diet. You're still stuck up there. But anyway, besides all that, because we do talk about
cars and all that, RX-8 Cup. Big night. Yeah, we went to the war night for the Mazda RX-8 Cup series.
On the harbour, beautiful boat. On a boat that, you know, alcohol, and they had Southern comfort.
You know what was ironic about that boat? It was the slyest boat. You got a boat full of racing
car drivers. It actually was. And every fucking boat was overtaken. It was a party boat. It was
like, it was just doing a lap of on a boat. It was like Q7 boat.
Okay, so before we get into the awards nights, so security's poor Q7. Did you just buy it?
He's brought a Q7 to tow his race car. And it's got to, and already the tow car needs to be towed.
So we opened it, we opened it in, but we're waiting for Fitos. He was running late because his car was
running in lip mode. Nothing else was in lip mode.
So we got the RX-8 Cup. So I've got, oh, we're going to shout out the award winners and we're
going to organise an interview with some of those drivers. So who we got? Oh, glasses, Tom.
Even our favourite race car driver, Zach, was here, won an award.
So the rookie won the cup. So Stian Krill. Yeah, you see, he was the rookie. He won the cup,
he's from South Africa, the way you spoke. He just put on the accent. And he won the,
it was a scholarship or he gets to race in New Zealand. Thanks to Zach. Zach sponsored the,
oh really? Yeah. Zach must have had time to go. Well, no, he gave up his sick ass.
So, so congrats to Stan. Then second place was Robert Scott, which we had, which partied afterwards.
So congratulations to Robin. Third was Jackson Noakes. I didn't get to speak to Jackson on the
night, but got third. Well, organised to have a meeting. Oh, young kid. So is he a good driver,
Tom? You're out in the pits there. You know them. I believe so. Okay. To the truth, ever since we've
started our production series on the BM. Oh, I see. Okay. I've forgotten. I don't want. So the M3
has taken priority. All of my mind is over the RxA. But you still helped. The last thing is almost
changed your gearbox. And that was it. Yeah, we changed the gearbox, race meeting and the race
meeting in the RxA. Yeah, then the exhaust fell off because we've got to put it up more quickly.
But we got the gearbox in there. Okay. So the driver's driver award was Zach,
our friend of the podcast, Zach. There was a most improved, what's the difference between driver
driver and most improved driver? Two trophies. Yeah, that too. And a spare tyre. So most improved
driver was John Freeland. One tyre. One tyre. John Freeland inside, Jack. And the Heels, the best
presented car. Was that one of your cars? Did you do it? I don't know. Heels Racing Team, Aaron
Heels. I want to give away that award next year. It looks, it's got a color skin, almost like a
Grand Sport Corvette. Have you seen it? I've seen it. Yeah, I can see it. And then the team trailers
used tyres award, goes to Maisie Place, which we're trying to get on the show, but she's not in
zero. Yeah, Maisie's all right. She'll come close to winning. I should give her an award
away next year because she just painted a black car and she done like an old school color flex
all over where you throw a paint all over it. Yeah. Like data dots. So just a bit about Maisie,
not only is she racing the RX8 car, but she builds her own car. She builds her own car. She's a
all rounder. All rounder. And you scrub up pretty well, I might say. Yeah, it's like,
take the helmet off and you go, wow, hello. Yeah, that's it. But when the dress on, she looks
like a flying girl. Yeah, she could stand in front of her car and go, wow, puts the helmet on,
gets in and then they can go double wow. Then that's like, wow, wow. She runs her own team. So
go Maisie. Who else have we got? The over 50s winners, Robert has got as well. So he not only
didn't come second, he came out. They had an over 50s award. Really? Yeah, he gets the best parking
spots. And then at rookie of the year, we said earlier, I was the one who also came first.
An appreciation award was Andrew Bollum. What's he appreciated for? I don't know,
but he's wearing high vis. So I think maybe Marshal. And there's also an appreciation award for
John Garay and an appreciation award for Nick Goring. So they're in the high vis. So they must
help out. So they're all the awards. Maybe they're the motorsport Australia guys. Yeah, yeah. So
they're sort of the crew that helps Tom and Rick Shaw to run the RX-8 Cup. There's a lot of effort,
a lot of work that goes in it. Yes, a lot. They do a good job. When I say we, the RX-8 Cup people
have got their own chat group. Okay. Are you in it? Yeah, I'm in it. Okay. And lately,
because they're getting ready for Phillip Island, right? That's their first race. And
with all the questions asked and everything, I've got to stick up for Rick Shaw. He answers
everything pretty well, but as soon as he says something that some people don't like,
he gets fucking battered. Today I went up to him. I went past his whereabouts. So is this in the group
chat? Yeah. Like you'll say? I don't know how you sometimes can take the shit. But is he talk as
a driver or as the organiser? Organiser. Okay. So he'll say one thing. Do you want to get it to
an example? I don't want to get involved in all these politics and they punish him. It's just
the drivers punish him. And I don't feel sorry for Rick at all. Because I mean, okay, let's think
about it. There's about 10, 12 rounds for the year. Yeah. You're dealing with vehicles that costs
10s to 100s of thousands of dollars to maintain an RxA. Oh, to maintain. I don't know. Yeah,
but to race prep it from start, like an RxA costs 20, 30 grand second out now. I don't know.
If there's any left, this is when we should get Rick on board. Yeah. From buying it,
setting up, you'd probably 20, 30 grand buying to get ready and then to get ready. And that's a
cheap category. And Rick does it well. And then you travel the country, you're racing it, you've
got Bathurst, you're racing it, the Bend, you're racing Eastern Creek, you're racing it, all the
Premier sporting. Yeah, like they've raced it all over. I don't know about their calendar this year.
Like I said, I'm not into it that much. No, I don't want to ask that. The other night, I didn't
want to ask Zach how much dot, dot, dot. It's not a type of question. It's a cheap formula.
It's a cheap formula, but it's not cheap. But what I'm saying is it's not cheap. Motorsport is not
cheap. No, it's not. But if you want to get into it, it's a cheap category. It's a good, it is run
well, man. Yeah. Like the more I look at and get into the, the running of cars. The administration
side. Yeah. He runs it well. You know what I mean? Rick and his wife, they do a terrific
fucking job. But not only that, Rick's also been a racing car driver. He's traveled the world,
he's raced it, never agreeing. Like he knows what it's like to be a racer. And he also now is in
administration and running, running a competition. There's a lot of things. Look, at the beginning,
he was driving as well. Yeah, at the start, yeah. You know, he was driving, even this year, like
he's in the 60L this year. Yeah, with his co-drivers. Yeah. Yeah. You know what I mean? And he's also,
he's got, I'm not sure who's running the car, but he's also got a Mazda in it, which I believe
Robert Scott's in. Yeah. And our friend from England, um, cock, coxie, coxie. But I think,
I don't know who's, I should have asked, I should have been prepped, right? That's okay.
He's actually running that. But we're going to get him on the show and I've already organized it.
So then we're going to go out there and have a proper chat about the series and
what gets involved. But looking at the other night, the camaraderie amongst all the drivers,
everyone got on, the wives got on, like the wags were there. Yeah. So, um, it was like, it's like a,
a friendly family. Yeah. Like, not a circus. It's like, it is, it is. Yeah. Everyone's together.
Look, and I'm sure they'll help each other. If they do. If you've got a spare tire or spare
100%. Look, that time when, um, we were helping Zach in his Mazda, right?
Blue gearbox, a few other things happened, you know, got it from a blue gearbox. I was all happy.
I was happy that no one, whoever we asked first said, no, no, no. And then freaking Macy come over
and said, I've got one. And I wish you'd shut her mouth because. Oh, because that means she had to
work on it. Because you thought we've retired and not going to go back out and Macy came and
saved the day, saved the day for them, but not me. And she just provided the part of walked away.
Yeah. You think she'd help? Give us a bit of wisdom or help. But yeah, she, when she walked away.
Yeah, that's, that's, that's, she did the hard part. She provided the part. Yeah. Well, hard part
for me. Yeah. And then left you to clean up the mess. I had one team shirt that year, that day,
and ended up becoming black sleeves instead of white. Yeah. So, so shout out. Yes. That was a
good night. Thank you for inviting us. And like we, we had, we had a ball. We even took the
microphone, but not, not many people were in a position to interview or talk that night.
No, it was, it was very, yeah, it was very relaxed. So we can do that formally in the
coming weeks. And, and we've already organized to go out to some of their meets and we'll do
some interviews out, out on the track on the afternoon. So that's, that was the highlight
of the last week. That was good. And we at the moment are working on our batter's car.
So which, which that's the production car category, is it? Yeah. We're trying to lose weight.
Oh, well, I'm doing my bit, but I'm going to be in the grandstand. Yeah. The car,
the car's doing the same thing you're doing. So you're trying to shred some weight.
Even if it went for lunch today. Yeah. We, we, we, the same with the car,
we lose four kilos and put six back into it. Yeah. Well, you know, what do you do?
She's, she's German. She's going to have to eat and drink beer.
Well, far out. The race car's a she, isn't it? I don't know. But is it a boy?
It's a prick lately. Let me tell you. That's a boy. Yeah. But other than that, yeah.
That's that, named it? Has he called it a name? I don't know. I'll have to ask him that too.
Which is just cause of Emma, Emma for M4. Oh, yeah. It's not bad. I'll have to ask him.
Yeah. So again, girl's name for a car. Emma. Emma.
She put that in the phone. See if any listeners can think of a good name.
A lot of smashed cars outside, Tom. Yeah, it's very busy.
What are you siding about? Yeah. Cause you have to order the parts.
A lot of parts are in here, Tom. A lot of boxes. A lot of, we're, we're, we're recording from the,
like our boom gate keeps on coming. We're buying you one. Is that a boom gate? Yeah.
That's not, but that doesn't go in the car. No, yeah. But the boom gate cause we keep running into it.
With the car. It's got that short now you can just drive around it. So we've ordered new ones.
So what, people hit it with the car? I've tried to fucking see it.
And every time they come, they come bent. Why do they come? Say, how do you,
are they meant to be bent? Are they flexed? Oh, let's try it. So how come it's bent?
Because that's how the courier brings it. Oh, he tries it. The second one now.
Oh, well, you can't put it on. So who's the boom? That, that's bent like a part of my body.
Well, your arm. You couldn't say that. Left or right? Because I can see your arms bent. I can't
say anything else, but I've seen videos of someone tripping over themselves.
Put it right with that car. Yeah. And what I'm doing is I've got an infected ear and
turd. Yeah. I saw you were dropping. Yeah. What's that from the boat? I don't know.
You reckon? No, it's cause I love shoving cotton earbuds down. I get off on it.
Oh, that's a clean ear. You don't have to do a wall. You know, like a dog shakes its leg when
you scratch it. I stick that cotton earbud in there and I'm like. When you scratch the dog leg?
When the dog scratches the spot and he gets his leg going. No, you've never seen a dog. No,
Peter doesn't like dogs. We don't have dogs. I don't like any. You know, when you,
we got a cage on a pudding wall. You know, when you're pat pussy and a purse.
Yeah, I can't hear it. My wife gives her a purse. I can't hear a purse. Well, that's like
starting to sit the cotton earbud in there. You're per. Yeah, but it's not good for you.
No, the doctor says you're not meant to put anything smaller than an elbow.
And I've tried. Yeah. Yeah. It doesn't fit. Mate, the first time that I heard that,
I forgot about it. That's a good saying. It's a good saying. I've got a cotton
earbud stuck in my ear. Stuck in your nose smaller than an elbow. Look, it goes in.
What, do you get a lot of wax? No, it's not wax. What is it? Just the sensation of feeling it
is. Yeah, I just love this. You love the sensation. You get off on it. Yeah, I do.
How many times a day? Maybe two, three. Really? He doesn't even,
he doesn't even confide himself to the office anymore. Sometimes we'll be sitting at a table
and just see him going like this to his ear. No, if I throw him in there, I couldn't go in there.
But lately they've been getting stuffed up like this. So now they're infected.
And it's because of the earbuds? Yeah. Because you've scratched it. Yeah. And then if I go for
a dip in the pool, you have to be careful. Don't break your, your, your drums. He's already out.
He's deaf. You can't hear anyone. I can't hear in this year. Yeah. That's the, you're being,
that's when you're pointing your fingers in. And that's when it's infected.
Huh? But I have got some sinuses. Sinuses. Sinuses. Sinuses. Sinuses. Sinuses.
I even read that on the referral. I have no idea what she wrote.
Oh, you went to a doctor? I went to a doctor today. Get a referral. Oh, you're not just gonna
go to a pharmacy to get e-drops? No, for this. Oh, the sinuses. I can't sleep at night.
Why not? I don't know. I'll all blocks up and I'm pissed off of it. I wake up tired and I went to bed.
So what'd you get? A nose pump? No, I'm going to go to a throat ear and whatever you call them,
specialist. Get her an operation. Move these ears to the next. Oh, I fix your nose. No, yeah, the
inside of it. So I breathe. Oh, not the outside? I lie down. I don't need no droppings. I say,
the size of your nose is the size of your teeth. No, it doesn't. Trust me. So why does people have
operations that make their nose smaller? Are they under compensating? They're under compensating.
Under compensating. See, look, everything's getting blocked up now. I don't know why.
Because of your ear. Yeah, probably. It's one. Is it a tube from your ear to your nose? Yes.
Yeah. Well, there you go. Isn't that the problem? Dr. Pete. If you put an earbud in your ear that's
got any of your nose. Can they call it ears, nose and throat? Oh, what's the throat or do it?
It's all connected. No, one else does the throat. It's all connected.
Yeah, that's right. It is. It's all connected. Because you don't have a knee and elbow,
doctor, do you? No. It'd be a knee and ankle. No. Well, my knee used to fuck the operation.
Yeah, because you didn't heal properly. Fuck them. I'd say I didn't let it heal.
You didn't let it heal? Fuck everyone says that bullshit. You came straight to work. No, I did.
I couldn't come straight to work. Yeah, the next day you did. Yeah, well, the next day I tried.
Yes. Oh, what? You couldn't walk? No. I was in hospital. I think I was in bed and I woke up a
bit hazy and I got a little bottle to piss in. Yeah. But I didn't piss in it properly. Yeah.
I pissed all over the place and fitters helped me clean it all up. Yeah. And then from there on,
every nurse that walked in here, I wiped up all my pissing files. I was out of it.
So did you have private insurance for the nurse to do it for you? Well, she couldn't hold it.
Well, they'd bring in an extra nurse. It's like a fire's man. You need two people. Two nurses.
Private. I didn't pay enough private. You didn't pay the exit. He missed his payment.
He didn't have to choose your own nurse. No. Well, there you have it. That's a nice short one.
Australia Day Special. Yes. Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy. Reynaz, review us. Email us. Number 249.
We've got 250 coming up. 250. Really? Yeah. What's that? And we might, and no, I haven't
tried to organize a big thing yet. And like literally, it's meant to be the next episode.
So it's going to end up being like the hundredth or the 99th. The 250th might be the 251st.
We've done that at the bank transfer spot. Yeah. So it might go back there. Yeah, do that. Yeah,
we'll do that. We'll do, we'll do something nice. We'll get some old guests. Yeah, but that's the
next one. Yeah, but we might, it might end up being 251 if we don't organize a big time. All right.
And we'd do something else. So you just rearrange it and post it in a different
order. Well, yeah, that'll be a bit of a gap. But yeah, it doesn't matter. We're all going,
I didn't cheat, but one year at sea, I had five, six interviews and just cut up.
But I counted as one episode, even though I played it at five episodes. How many F1
episodes have you done? F1. I haven't done F1. That's right. That's right. F1. F1. F1.
There's a chat. I'm up here at Silverstone in the UK. For the F1? Yeah. F1. I found tickets,
but I haven't found the money for the tickets. What was the tickets at F1? Oh, you can get
thousands. It's not fucking. What? Yeah, I know. Well, if we sit in the stand,
I'm going to sit on the grass and look around and walk and shit. Thousands, really? Yeah.
Welcome to England, mate. Even Australia, I think it was. Even Australia. It's not
cheap here. Three grand, four grand. I paid $7.50 for like $3.13 for two years ago.
Yeah, for the stand. And they showed a graph. The prices for general admission have just like
skyrocketed. So they're cashing in since COVID, like everything. What do you do?
That's F1. Yeah. F1. F1. Greatest. Review us. Send us your emails at alltalkoutlook.com.au
and bye for now. Bye. Good question. Have you heard back from Rogan yet? For Tim.
Oh, souls. Fuckin' assholes. Any response? Have we reached out again? Well,
I'm trying to reach out to Kiddy, but he's got no manager. You know, Joe wrote, he done a show with
Playboy Bunnies, the girls. Oh, shh. You reckon? He did. I've seen it. Yeah, but you reckon he did
what you wanted him to do? I don't know if he done it in there. No, the bunny girls are more marketing
guys. But you saw one episode, she was smiling, though she was losing her. Well, I mean,
if they do what, if they did what he normally does on his podcast, if you check my drift,
there's a chance. Yeah, but this is 20 years ago. 20 to 30 years ago. So if you were contested, would
you do external activities to get preferential treatment on his TV show? No, I'm not built
like that. There's other people that probably do. Another magnet. We've gone through about
in the race car, the B, the M4, what we're trying to do, the pit stops and we're buffers.
Well, he's an energy polarizer. No, so they don't get confused stuck when they're changing
driver as he undoes his race buckles. Yeah, he just lifts one up to the roof.
And then it holds it so that when the other guy jumps in, he can just pull it down and
the magnets keep falling off the roof. No, it's freaking weird, man.
Everything we do on this car is freaking weird. Well, that sounds fucking weird, putting the
magnet on the roof. No, why? Is that like that? That's the proofed.
