So, okay, so we picked the car up,

we transported, I'm gonna gamble on it at Bear Jackson.

So I sent it to Bear Jackson,

they charge $1,500 for a reserve number

and then they're gonna charge you a 8% or 10% seller fee.

So you get a $10,000 selfie on that hundred.

So when the guy bought it from is watching it on TV

and he sees you got a hundred, right?

Oh, yeah, he loves it.

He's like, oh, that's cool, man.

You got out?

No, I didn't get out, I didn't get out of,

I didn't get out of nothing.

I lost 10 grand plus a grand in shipping,

plus a $1,500 selfie.

It's not a grand in shipping.

So anyway, you've gotta jump them by 10% just to get out.

So like the Fuss Chevelle, we gave 150 grand for

and no, no, no, we gave 140 grand for it

and it brought 150.

And if Chip hadn't got up on the block

and repped that car, it would have sold for a hundred.

But once he got up there and I thought it was awesome

first of all for him, he didn't have to do that.

a little too much information by saying,

well, it was once mine, then I sold it

and then it sold again.

But you know, he's just being honest.

He's like, look guys, do you know how much it costs

to build this vehicle?

Right.

I mean, that was amazing that he did something like that.

And then it got to just right at the one point of 150

and that was it.

But I mean, I was surprised it only did that

to be honest with you.

I was thinking, man, it's surely he's up there.

Somebody's gonna be a big fan and want that build

and the amount of money that he put into it.

What'd you say, at least $200,000 in parts and stuff?

Yeah.

And labor, I mean.

And then I had a 1963 split window Corvette

that I put wheels on and it had a LS Resto mod.

but we laid 125,000 for this truck, for this car,

spent 10,000 on wheels.

We sold it for 125,000.

Same car, later on, sold for 230,000 and 35,000.

And it was, and when I say the same car,

I mean the same car.

And the guy that bought my car for 135,000

walked over to me and said, what's wrong with it?

I said, I don't know, nothing.

He said, why is it so cheap?

He said, you know, like shells, like rollers,

cars that they're gonna rebuild in a 63 vet

split window are 75 grand.

He said, how the hell was this 75, I mean 125 grand?

I said, oh no.

So that car lost, what, 30?

After the wheels and the selfie or something like that?

And when it was on the block,

I was watching it in the chat room.

It was going crazy about all these wheels.

They're terrible, they're terrible.

You don't do that to this car, they're terrible.

So I got in there and started a little war

back and forth in the chat room about it.

It's like, cause all these folks in the chat rooms,

by the way, we love our guys in the chat room.

that he built and I bought it for 100.

So the deal with Barry Jackson is it's a gambling.

So you go in there and we're gonna beat the casino

That's the part I should have gotten to a moment ago.

I had no deal with anybody and I just sat there

and I just had to sit there and watch my baby die

in the middle of the road.

and it's just the disgust on your face.

And our buyer, Jason Love, you know, he spotted the car

and I know he was pissed when I just paid him a flat.

And he really was, he didn't complain,

but I knew that he thought I was doing him wrong.

I talked to him about it.

While when you made the offer to him,

I was like, look, man, just take it.

Well, the reason why is because if it goes the way it went

last night, he doesn't have the money

to write the check for half the loss.

I've got a 68 charger RT with a factory 426 Hemi

and all the numbers, all the price.

I've got real cars and they're all cheaper

than what you're talking about.

So you need a little, you need a little market check.

But once you get that, then we can get together.

You just don't want to get screwed.

So we got to figure out what the real money is first

so that you can be like, okay, now he's not screwing.

And then I did it again with a 58 resto mod corvette

And then there was a Porsche that we uh sold for the same for for the normal money that we can get for them

Because I knew the car because I saw the car in california at the guy who had it

I found out perin bought it

And then in perin gave 150 grand for it and then it brought 104 last night

minus the fee

And I bought and so when perin walked up to me I said, um

He said I didn't do very well. I mean at this point

So he was down 100 before that thing happened

And then he said he he'd gotten to the point where he was aching inside. Just forget it

I said it didn't do very well

I'm like, well, how did it do? He's like, I don't want to talk about it

So I handed him my slip

If you go to Barrett Jackson go through the auction results from yesterday's last last night

Look at the blue one and then look at the two green ones

He gave 75 for one of the green ones. He gave 150 for the other and I paid 104 and the one he gave 75 for brought 90

He lost 60 000 on that one car and then look at the blue one that sold 10 cars ahead of it that brought 100 000 more

And you tell me why and the answer is an ls engine. It's that stupid. I don't get it man

I mean what you ended up you ended up getting one heck of a deal. It sounds like to me

But but I gotta sell it to somebody right so there there was there was thousands of people in that room

And it really I mean it's just a 85 short wide, right? Yeah, and you went up spending and you we quote unquote stole it, right?

Yes, and then you then you have to spend four thousand dollars keeping it running

And then two or two years later. You're like, I'm done with this son of a bitch

It's too much a problem. Can I sell it in the lane? And I say yeah

And we run it

And it brought seven grand and I didn't sell it because I was trying to protect you and you were too

And then we ran it two more times or one more time

One more time and what did it sell for?

And that's all there is to do in the town
