move on in listen but today coach what we decided to talk about was high mileage
stop and go driving you know I was thinking about high mileage stop and go
driving it wasn't just for regular drivers because a lot of us do a lot of
stop and go driving yeah but it's not constant we may go to work we stop we
stop at red lights we come home but I'm talking about Lyft drivers yes Uber
drivers Instacart drivers all these different delivery drivers out there
that are door dashing all of these drivers in their cars our hearts are
with you all stop and go drivers for sure and the reason is to a side note I
had to put my car in the shop for a couple days and one of those days I
decided let me Uber around it's just gonna make it easier I can do that I
and you know me I'm a talker so once I get into a Uber I made a whole new
friend and I made a couple friends they've not three that day but the one
that really got me was the man who was like you know it cost him so much to
try to keep up maintenance on his vehicle and he's trying to figure out
whether or not it's worth either buying a new vehicle
maintenance in the one he's got I don't think he's gonna stop driving Uber but
but that was one of the main things that we're gonna talk about what is the
difference in maintenance on a regular stop and go or a high mileage stop and
go where you're driving and you're stopping 10 15 20 30 times a day you
know maybe just for one thing you know so maintenance is totally different when
you get to those vehicles there you know we talk about intervals the change in
oil three thousand five thousand ten thousand well this gonna be every two
hundred and fifty miles no you may need to change the way that you have your
oil change you may need to change the way that you check your tires because I
look at lift drivers and Uber drivers you don't want to have somebody in your
vehicle and you break down on the side of the road now you're right that's not a
good experience you're right then you're asking them to hold the lug nuts that's
right so that's not a good experience to be on the side of the road if you're a
lift driver or an Uber driver right now you're right you're right I've got a
quick write-up so it says high mileage stop and go driving leads to increased

because of constant acceleration deceleration and idling who knew
idling was such a bad thing I thought it was just humming taking a break like a
hibernation because they need to be at a certain temperature and they need to
be everything needs to be moving as you're flowing through the system but
when I think about maintenance well the first thing we're going to talk about
we're gonna talk about the tires you know tires you know we average person
drives twenty thousand miles a year or fifteen thousand miles a year going to
get a good set of tires they're gonna change them every three or four years if
they need them okay a Uber driver that is running constantly are going to change
tires maybe every year or maybe every year and a half okay because it's so
much wear and tear on the tires so the mileage really does count I mean
depending upon how many miles you're putting on it that's where all the
wear and tear kind of stems from yes because more mileage you put on that
vehicle more wear and tear you have warranties now this is a big thing
warranties okay if you bought a brand new vehicle and you're using it for your
individual vehicle but then you decide you want a door dash or you want to do
ubering well now the warranty is going to be over pretty quick because you're
going to get past that thirty six thousand miles quickly yeah yeah you're
gonna move fast there's a lot of things you gotta look at when you're doing all
these different things that involve your vehicle because you know more as you
said the one that you was riding with said the maintenance is so high gas is
so expensive can you make money doing it right once you add all your expenses
and yeah that's the question I'm in my head I thought to myself that's a lot
to keep up with you know because I really I don't know if I want I would
want to put a new vehicle on the road just because of the wear and tear on the
new vehicle then like you say you put an old vehicle on the road it could you
know just go kaput with a passenger in it so it's it's definitely a lot of
thinking and I just shot out to all of the uber lifts uber eats everybody who
door dashing out there because you really are one it's stressful I just
thought about it this morning I cannot drive in traffic all the time without
being a little angry sometimes so you're so it's yes it's stressful that one and
then to it's double stressful because now you have to worry about your vehicle
yes and as you're doing that day in and day out you got to make sure you have
the proper vehicle you want to make sure that you have one first of all that's
going to get good gas mileage that's very fuel efficient due to how many times
you're using that vehicle a day and the maintenance not just the maintenance of
the vehicle but how about the interior and the exterior so if you're an uber
driver you're a lift driver that vehicle has to smell good the vehicle has to be
clean on the inside or outside because nobody's gonna get in it if yeah they
don't even approve you for driving I don't think if you can't pass that that's
why you had to take a picture of your car yeah yeah you know so when you think
about brakes this one thing that gets me with brakes you know stop and go
driving is the worst things for brakes okay 70% of your braking is done in the
front of the vehicle 30% is in the rear of the vehicle but your brakes need to
be checked often yeah you know if you even think you got low brakes if you
hear anything going on with your brakes you need to make sure that you have that
vehicle check those brakes checked and everything in there especially the
wintertime you know we're getting into the well we supposed to be in the wintertime
but it's still 70-80 degrees outside so we don't know if winter is going to get here
yet but it will be but you know during the wintertime you need to make sure that
you can check that vehicle that battery you know somebody called me the other day
on the phone said oh coach I did all this to my vehicle and my vehicle crank
sometimes and it don't crank others well that first cold snap batteries right
you know you don't feel it during the heat you don't usually have much problem
with during the heat but that first cold snap well same thing with you're
gonna be an uber driver you make sure that battery is up to par when you
get in there you can't even afford a cold snap you got to get on the road that's
right right and you ain't got time to wait because your vehicle is making you
money right so I did a little research and I wanted to know whether or not
stopping go driving was like a bad thing and they do say it's not good for your
car because it puts that added stress on your engine and leads to faster oil
breakdown wear and potential fuel dilution but my whole thing is a car is a
car can we not make a stop-and-go car come on coach I know you can do it you
and I have the same questions remain no really because I was thinking the same
like how many things are we doing with our car that it's just like you know
you're not really it's not great for your car that you do that whether you leave
it alone sitting up in the garage whether you drive it around every single day
yeah stop and go yeah well you got to think about stopping go driving puts
more wear on all the components in the vehicle so but if you're doing high
mileage driving down the highway I would much rather have a vehicle that has been
driven down the highway constantly without the stop and go stop and go
because the components are not war as much the engines not war as much you
understand that engine will deteriorate from heat okay components will
deteriorate from heat so if you're stopped a whole bunch of time that
engine is built-in heat constantly because there's no air flowing through
the radiator okay okay the fans are pulling some air but it's not cooling
that engine down like you wanted to cool down now coach I know you're not a
magician but I consider you a car magician to me so on the break I want
you to mull around because I know you know some tricks to get around some of
some kind of additive that they can put in to help them or something so we're

you just keep up with car news well we just trying to keep up with them because
like say all these recalls that you talk about they need to make sure they get
their vehicle into the dealer that's right so we'll get started with the
first one that you named Honda is recalling more than 256,600 examples of
its accord hybrid sedan over a software issue that may cause a loss of drive
power effective vehicles include model year 23 to 25 accord hybrids as a
result of the original programming by the supplier the integrated control
modules central processing unit may reset while the car is in motion that's
that cpu resulting in a loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a
crash to fix dealers are reprogramming the module cpu software for free that's
why well once again i think you got to get the programmer in there and when
they start programming these computers and for these cars and all they need to
make sure they do a thorough test on them the computer goes down your car goes
haywire that's right oh wow all right that's the first one that coach had
mentioned the second one you mentioned was ford more than 229,600 examples of
fords bronco and bronco sport suv's they can't get rid of that the bronco was
oh okay okay because it's new yes they're being recalled over an issue with the
instrument panel that may cause it to fail this includes 25 to 26 bronco and
sports the instrument panel cluster may fail at startup preventing drivers from
viewing critical safety info such as the vehicle speed and warning lights and
increasing the risk of a crash to resolve the instrument panel cluster
software can be updated by a dealer or an over-the-air update for free that's two
that we've had over the air yeah that's the easy thing i like those are easy picks
i wish you could fix everything over there i just can't do it i know i know
okay here's another ford recall there expanding a recall from late of 24 2024
that involves more than 220,500 examples of its escape and link in coser plug-in hybrid suv's
it's an issue with the battery that may cause a fire in the 2020 to 24 escape
phe v's and 21 to 24 coser e v's phe v's rather the issue is with a manufacturing
defect in one or more of the high voltage battery cells which may result in a short
circuit and cause the battery to fail increasing the risk of loss of dry power in a fire which
could result in crash and injury fire is always scary but this remedy is currently under development
so well it sounds like they need to take that battery out and put a new battery in there
that'd be the that would be the remedy so here's a tip you may have just said that at this time
owners are advised to use own to only use auto e v mode and will be instructed via mail to limit
the maximum battery charge that's right what well when you think about it really what happens to
these batteries they quick charge these batteries and that is what destroys the cells in them as
the quick charge of the batteries okay you know and so if they had a short in there they're
overheating and that's why the batteries catch on fire okay all right park it outside get away
from the house get it away far away and finally in recall news still honest our favorite s word is
recalling more than 112,000 examples of the jeep grand Cherokee and wrangler 4xc plug-in hybrids
over an issue with the engine that may lead to a fire we love those no um this comes just days
after they ought to make a recall more than 320,000 vehicles over a separate issue with the battery
that also poses a fire risk this includes 23 to 25 grand Cherokee 4xces and model year 24 to 25
wrangler 4xces debris in the engine may cause the engine to fail resulting in a loss of motive power
or an engine compartment fire the remedy is currently under development and they don't have a tip
well i just hope that as they are under development that they'll have it fixed before their newer
vehicles come out because then they will be under recall as well yeah you're right about that you're
right listen you can find out if your car has a past or a current recall by going to the national
highway traffic safety administration's website in htsa.gov forward slash recalls and inputting your
vin or you can find their safer car app today though me and coach are talking about high mileage

seven six seven two seven four six four coach let's get into some of those tricks that i know you
came up with well this is in order for us to have these high mileage vehicles out there being used
every day and you want to take and get as much as possible for your money what would i would do the
first thing is a lift driver and uber drivers and i know this is done on quite a bit of them is that
you make sure you have a ride or you drop somebody off okay that way you don't have to be running all
around you're not wasting gas you're not wasting time make sure you have another ride set up right
you know a lot of people do that at the hotels and airports or they have something somebody come get
them or whatever like that right so you want to make sure that you have that done instacart or
doordash make sure that you're in one area don't go 10 miles to drop off one thing and have to turn
around go 10 miles to drop off another thing make sure it's in the same area so that it would be smart
to i guess pick the rides that go along with that idea yes right so now you're trying to i guess
schedule yourself accordingly right and if you go outside of that schedule i feel like possibly
you'd be losing money right we losing money because you're making a bigger diameter a perimeter for
you to deliver when you may not be able to make no money by delivering and you're putting that
wear and tear on your vehicle yeah yeah you know so you gotta make sure that it could be not worth
that trip right you know believe it or not my wife really liked instacart she liked shopping for
people and she did this for a while okay just to do it yeah she would go in there and shop for people
but she was driving 10 miles this way 10 miles this way and when you added it all up you're not
making no money because you put no wear and tear on the car goodness so you know she didn't do that
very long right you know what's another thing too what's with the stop and go drivers like uber
and things like that the riders we can make it a little harder because now they you can add a stop
right you know you you get picked up from here you're riding you're thinking i need to go by
walgreens and then you go on the app and you add that stop it and now the driver's got to stop at
walgreens for you right you know and then you're like oh that was nice i think i need another stop
right now you have somebody really it's your own private shopper right private personnel right
taxi driver your chauffeur right you know so anyway when you start doing about this how my driver
the intervals that you're changing fluids the intervals that you're changing brakes checking
things tires it needs to be earlier not later okay sooner it's not you're not going to go by the
book or the owner's manual because now you're putting there's a lot different i want you to
know coach said don't go by the book or the owner's manual if you're a stop and go driver right
because it's a different type of uh conditions that you're driving in right it's just like if
you're driving down a dusty road and you change the oil at a certain time just regular driving now
you're driving in dust you need to change your oil different you change your air filters different
just because of the way you are driving okay and like you said earlier that you can get road rage
out there driving the stuff and go driving you know be careful out there there's potholes there's
all kinds of things that can damage your vehicle out there so make sure that you have your vehicle
checked by a good technician and as the check mission is checking your vehicle make sure that
you put a checklist that he has a checklist that he checked for you that you can keep in that car
and matter of fact it's really good for a legal standpoint is that you if you are doing live or
you're doing the uber that you have your vehicle checked and you have that checklist in your car
okay so if something does happen you have a backup paperwork saying hey this was done to your car
okay you know because a lot of people you know get in trouble because something happens and they
don't have the paperwork yeah yeah look i want to know with brakes you you talked about tires but
with brakes how quickly can those go well you know i got a vehicle that has 220,000 miles on it and
it just drives around in the town and all and i've had two sets of brakes put on it
and 220,000 miles well if you think about it stop and go driver constantly they're probably
going to go through a set of brakes a year okay all right because they're going to put a lot of
miles on that vehicle and brake work is not cheap work it's not cheap so when you're getting into
any of this type of service you need to make sure how much maintenance that you're able to put in that
car and make sure that the maintenance is done well make sure you find you a certified technician
you know i know a lot of people say well johnny down the street can do it well johnny can do it
down the street johnny got no papers on it but johnny got no papers that's right so johnny's
going to take your hundred dollars and keep on going right and you'll bring it back again to
johnny and johnny's gonna say well we thought it was this right so you want to make sure that you
get your uh a tech that year that's a reputable tech that can do your job for you and give you some
paperwork behind it yeah make sure you get out there and do that so we've got a few more tips as

let's head to the phone lines we've got max and raymond on the line he's got a 2002 lexus question
max you're on with coach charlie good morning coach charlie good morning my my question is i have a
lexus sc 430 2002 i took it in to get a starter with 30s back here about a month ago when i went
to pick my car off the mechanic said you know we have a miss in your in your car i said no i didn't
know i had it but anyway i thought he was talking about some of this that may be the minor or something
like that so when i got my car and started driving it home it was running like a pump or a truck
i think when i got it home i ended up uh a lot of the the the check into light came on and so
we checked that and it shows that uh right maybe up bank still or nor was out also the back of
switching valve it had been broken they'd be uh it had been broken and stuff and so now i'm in the
process of trying to find those still in the woods in the back of switching valve but my question is
could he have shorted something in that car that would have caused it to
uh short circuit though still in the north and the back of switching valve and stuff well you
didn't have that problem when you took it there right no well see that's this is what people
always do and i hate to say it sometimes but a lot of times somebody goes in there and they get
something fixed and the first thing they say well that wasn't the problem i had when i bought my car
in here but if you know for sure that that was no problem no check engine light was on or anything
else it's according where that starter is located and what type of switches around that starter
because there are some switches around that starter and i'm not saying they did this but
they could have pulled the starter out and could have hit the top of that switch and broke it
and that will make it come on to make that check engine light come on you know and so you got to
just always think about that what was around that starter and matter of fact you could probably get
on the internet and look at the diagram about those parts uh that you have to replace and see
if they were close to that starter and he might have damaged them dang did you get that max
the last part i i missed the very last thing okay you could get what i would do i'd get on the
uh matter of fact or your owner's manual or your internet and get on there and find where those
parts are located on that engine that that says that are bad and see if they were around that starter
if they were around that starter he could have hit the switch and broke the tip of it off or
something like that and that would make that light come on or he may not even have those things
plugged up that's another thing if he missed plugging something up those switches that checking
light will come on really yes okay so i need to check and make sure that those solenoids on the
left and right bank are correct right because it's going what he had to move to get that starter
you know i don't know is that what he had to move to get to that starter but he might have unplugged
the switch and didn't plug it back up okay one other question would those solenoids if they're
out or they're not plugged up would that be causing the missing problem that i'm not
having sure it would and first of all i need to really know what solenoid you're talking about
what's the name of the solenoid i'm not sure it's in the left bank and right bank i can't
remember exactly what's the name of them or okay because i don't know if they could be oxygen
sensors or something like that that's not plugged up yeah because all of that would cause the fuel
to change um those oxygen sensors especially if they're not reading correctly okay i would have
all of that checking that first coming to show about i'll take it to uh uh uh hey mccann it
this guy was actually retired mccann and from the lexus deal with you oh okay well like i say he
should have known what he's doing but you know people make mistakes and they break things and
they don't want to pay forward and they keep they unplug things and don't plug them back up just by
not paying attention sometime okay i appreciate it i'll i'll keep all of that in mind okay thank you
for calling thank you max let's stay on the phone line sid's on the line in madison he's got a truck
question sid you're on with coach charlie yeah going fine 2018 silver out of the mic you know
50 60 70 miles an hour and you just back off the gas or the fuel and uh just kind of let it
come for just a second it'll sound like an old lifter kick and an old gas burner
and accelerate let it go away or if you get on the brake hard let it go away okay so if you
get on the brake hard it goes away and there's when you accelerate hard okay so the first thing
with the braking system the only way that it could do the effect that is because you have
vacuum going to the braking system okay and vacuum is coming from that engine maybe from the vacuum
pump or something from that engine okay so that could help that could probably cause part of it
or you know it could be uh the turbo making noise itself because you got a turbo on that one right
right yeah it could be a turbo making noise you know so what i would do is check the
vacuum and all maybe going to that turbo and to the brake booster itself and see make sure
that you're not losing no vacuum that could be causing something with the turbo and the brakes
yeah i got you because i got it because i got a 20 i got a 20 23 international it's got the
work truck it's got the same motor and it does the same thing
yeah i would that's why i say i check the vacuum system and does it have a check
engine light on on that thing no it don't what i would do anyway i'd put a scan tool on it and
see if there's a code in that vehicle you know could like say if the code's not a hard code it's
not going to stay on all the time but i would go ahead and put a scan tool on it see if you pull up
anything right okay all right thanks for the help you're so welcome all right thank you Sid for the
call coach you always know how to make it right well you know there's different and they are they
are experienced in their vehicles they are experienced but i'd say there's so many different
things that could go wrong with a car or a truck but a lot of times you have to be there
you know and i know that now you're right about that all right speaking of being there was all
state there for insurance these insurance claims could be the mayhem guy right so yeah mayhem
i could be him i plan on being him next year for halloween that's a good one mayhem all right so
all state faces class action over alleged illegal ride share insurance scheme passengers paid for
mandatory protection while the insurer crafted unlawful exclusions this is all kind of stemming
out of california the lawsuit is closed it's not taking any more cases but it was birth in 2015
two california lift passengers claim all state charged riders for mandatory coverage while
engineering policies to deny claims the lawsuit filed uh in federal court accuses all state
in its subsidiary uh north light specialty insurance company of running what plaintiffs call
a bait and switch operation that generated profits by selling california ride share passengers
illegal insurance coverage designed to evade coverage obligations so they were selling insurance
to the passenger you know adding it to the bill maybe a dollar or something to the bill and then
they were the exclusions were on the vehicle's insurance right would not pay well but i think
that's one of these things uh germane that they lift drivers and uber drivers and all these ones
that deliver food you need to check your insurance policy to make sure what exclusions are on there
due to you're using it as a business vehicle not a individual enjoy yeah like personal or anything
like that so the plaintiffs are pointing to specific policy language they say proves the scheme
one provision states the insurer will pay only in excess of all other valid and collectible
insurance despite state law requiring primary coverage another provision alleged excludes
payment for losses if someone is eligible for occupational accident benefits even though california
law only permits offsets for benefits actually provided so well let's again check your policy
and make sure that it's right and you know i don't know if i've ever been charged i know my
wife uses uber when she goes out of town a lot and i don't know i haven't really checked the
fine print so i want to read the fine print so all state got a little notice and it requires
them to create a fund to compensate effective policy holders with a minimum one hundred dollar
payment for valid claims and mandates policy adjustments to prevent similar issues in the
future signaling broader changes in insurance industry practices so there is a work around to
get around that to give people their money back and get their insurance that's right i'll include a

cliford's got a follow-up about the starter call that we receive cliford you're on with coach charlie
hey coach good morning good morning um the the starter issue on that gentleman's car
he took it in dealer who wasn't missing to the best of his knowledge no check engine lights
and then you bring it out of the dealership and you got checked in check engine lights
well how can you well how do you even fight it well you really can't fight it then that's what
i was saying if there are sensors around the starter that were damaged okay just so they had
they didn't remove the end of the connector off that sensor and they broke it because there are
some sensors that are right up to the starter you've got to remove sometimes you got to remove
the sensor and you got to remove it before you put the starter in and out okay so that's why
i told him he needs to go ahead and check and see what sensor it was so now if it's an oxygen sensor
you know on the left bank and right bank you know unless they had to move a shroud or something to
move those oxygen sensors to get to a starter but you know that the starter's on one side it's
not on both you know so usually that vehicle there and they can go back and look at the history codes
and see how long those codes have been in that vehicle so that's another way that that dealership
itself can tell you when that code first occurred in that vehicle all right thank you for your call
i appreciate you you're welcome all right thank you clifford yeah that that was a that's a follow-up
to that though how do you get the dealership to accept that's what i'm saying they there's ways
you know like that that black box in that vehicle is just like a black box in an airplane you know
they can tell everything you know they put their scan tool on it and they can see when that code
first came up give a time date right when it and what triggered it yeah yeah you know and just
because one of those codes you know a lot of codes it has to do with emissions and that's a lot of
one of those codes come on and emissions affect the way the engine uh operates right right right

time for coach charlie's tip of the week you know when we talk about stop and go driving constantly
with lift drivers and all these delivery drivers you want to make sure that your vehicle there first
of all you need to do the research on the vehicle make sure that you get a vehicle that that is first
of all fuel efficiency make sure that you get don't get a Tahoe when you need a compact car
for what you're doing because then you're not going to make no money so just make sure you get
the right vehicle for what you're doing you know i wouldn't say get a compact car for people that
would want to take and get a uber or anything but if you're doing a lift or instacart or something
like that you know door dash you don't you need one that can just get in and out yeah yeah you do
unless for some reason in new orleans it's where i went and i've went with my aunt last year
to a ball down there and we took a lot of ubers but this one uber coach i don't know what truck
we were in it could have been a forward it could have been a chevy it could have been a gmc it was
huge and he was so proud of it he was like i paid over a hundred thousand for this but i don't know
how much he makes off of it i mean he had the sunroof it was extended cab my aunt was like five
feet away from me this is how big this truck was and we were like this is great this is a beautiful
ride you know auntie wanted to buy it and everything he threw out the number she was like well maybe i
wait maybe i'll wait and then i don't think i want it today she was like maybe i'll wait
but he was proud enough to put or you know secure enough to put that vehicle on the road
but i think in certain cities depending upon what car you're driving depends upon how many
rides you book right and court how many passengers are in the vehicle according
that's what i'm saying it's according what you're using your vehicle for if you're using it for a
group of people or using it just for individuals mm-hmm yeah because when i was up in uh Washington
dc i saw a lot of toy otas and a lot of uh haundas that would come in and out suvs yeah from the
airport yeah yeah yeah so i don't know what he's doing to keep his up but he is definitely making
the bread down there he's making a little cash for the flash he is making the cash for sure but
yeah so i know he's probably going through uh situations where you know he's idling and things
are happening he can't flush out combustion um his batteries getting overwork the vehicle is consuming
a lot of gas brakes are wearing out clutch might need to be replaced it's just so much
when you're a stop and go driver well even for the individual stop and go driver just regular
mom and pop driving around town if that's all you do your vehicle is going to have more maintenance
you know get it on the freeway and blow it out a little bit you know that's what you need to do
when we say blow it out you know let that uh catholic converter get cleaned out a little bit
right you know and then we're you know we're talking about these diesel uh vehicle we talked
about germax a while ago you know if the uh death ain't working correctly on that vehicle
that's not going to run correctly you know make sure the death system is good i'm going back there
because i just hit my mind make sure the death system is working correctly on him yeah okay okay
well that's that's that's so that's some ways to get around that for sure that's some ways to get
around that shout out again to all of our stop and go drivers out there who are literally just
putting themselves on the line every day because you're always in traffic you're always possibly
you know one inch away from a wreck and you've got to keep it together every day and you never
know what type of passenger you're going to get as well that's right in your vehicle so you want
to be very careful just make sure that your vehicle's up you know i always thought about uh if there's
a way that you could screen your passenger in your vehicle just when they looked in their windows
something you could screen them and say well i don't think i want this guy right i don't want him
let's change i don't want him don't don't load don't load their luggage till you screen i know it
i know and let me see the car too at least some of them will tell you kind of what kind of car is
it the luxury vehicle you're getting in a compact you're getting in or whatever you know maybe they
could use the id on our uh airplane id that we hit her on drive license so let me screen that make
sure you have everything you need buddy you got everything you need so i can make sure you ride
in my car and i'll say uh i worked as a driver for a while um but the the biggest thing about
driving professionally is make sure you got the energy to do it when you clock in man oh yes
because that fatigue and the exhaustion once you once you hop behind the the wheel and you've
got somewhere to be like especially if you're all alone like for a little bit to go get whatever
passenger or the food that you're going to deliver like that exhaustion hits different you don't want
to you don't want to wake up you're right behind the wheel you're right because you'll be tired
especially this later night if you're doing all this you'll be tired i know a lot of uber drivers
that's their second job after they've already worked an end to five right so and with Thanksgiving
around the corner there's going to be some driving happening well i was just thinking about that you
know Thanksgiving you're going to have a lot of people out there doing door dashes and going to
instacart for them but there's going to be a lot of people in the highway about 73 million people
going to be riding that's a lot of people going to be that that Thanksgiving lol after eating all
the food and they're just going to be exhausted we call that the itis that's called the itis
that you catch okay the turkey it is or just eat it it's the food it is it's the food it is you
catch but i was uh marissa and i went to meridian yesterday and i was telling her i don't know
because i was like i think there's there's warps on these highways like small spots of highways
just kind of like especially if you're tired kind of warp you into wanting to go to sleep
and 20 is one of those highways for me i don't know why if i'm exhausted it almost feels like you
could just drive and go to sleep so i want everybody to stay alert if you eat dressing you go lay down
first it's like do not eat it's like how they say not to get but get in a pool 15 minutes after
eating or something like that you're going to cramp up don't hop behind especially not in turkey
if you only ate a piece of turkey you've got some energy but well you know turkey turkey is one of
the things that make you go to sleep no really it's got the itis in it too it is the itis in it
you know so that's what i say it was the turkey itis you know uh they have done research and they
say if you eat turkey it has something in there just makes you just have you ever noticed after you
eat thanksgiving you're just gonna go lay out always tell them at mine i was about to say speaking
of eating thanksgiving i was driving marisa yesterday and we stopped at subway and i got i
got the new turkey sandwich that has the dressing on it that was not a good combo to be behind the
wheel with well you just gotta think about what you got there and uh let's say just be careful
out there you know there's a lot of people gonna be on the roads this weekend and this next week
be very careful you traveling any coach uh well we're gonna go there and see omis beat up on the
dogs hopefully that's thanksgiving i said hopefully you know i didn't say they would i
give thanks we talked a little bit about it yesterday on the sit down on the sit down you
know every time the underdog is the one that wins so that's what we're rooting for well maybe they
should change it around i guess is it a thanks day gang it's on friday it's on friday okay black
friday yeah so it's going to be we're going to go up there and come on back we're going to have
thanksgiving with my family uh you cook this sunday no i'm not cooking okay my wife's gonna
cook okay okay i didn't know if you had a like a dish or something you do no i'm i'm just like i
do that one no no i'm bringing i'm bringing potatoes what are you bringing i'm bringing plates
no cooking whatsoever every year i'm bringing plates you know no i'm gonna try to do some
yams and some dressing oh that's good because we we we bought the turkey already we're just gonna
pick it up yams and dressing what about you a y'all traveling uh not traveling uh staying
in town because my wife's a nurse so she's got to work christmas eve or she can't work christmas
eve and christmas day so she's got to work thanksgiving and black friday well everybody
