Ferrari revealed their first fully electric vehicle interior in San Francisco.
It's called the Luce, which is Italian for light or illumination, which is a
break from their typical alphanumerical, geographic, typical naming conventions.
This has been designed by the former head of Apple Design, Johnny Ive,
and his new firm, Love From, and it looks very classic.
You've got some screens because you need to display some information in an EV,
but they've gone away from just big slabs of glass.
A lot of machine aluminium metal things that you can touch and flick
and have physical feedback on and the actual screens themselves have
wonderful surrounds, not too big and will display the essential information.
It looks exceptionally classy.
Hey, by the way, this cost five hundred thousand dollars,
the new Ferrari electric car.
Yeah, get in the queue behind me, Nissan CEO Ivan Espinosa
said he doesn't want to sell more cars.
He wants to make more money and he won't make more money
by selling more cars that don't make enough money.
He's called it the re Nissan program, and that means making more E revs
and plug-in hybrids, not electric cars.
B.Y.D. is plotting an upgrade to the Shark Six.
Now, the Shark Six done big business down under in Australia with the Ute buyers.
It is an E rev.
The engine can drive the wheels up at motorway speeds,
but hey, they're going to upgrade it.
They're going to add more trims, more grades.
It's got one at the moment.
It's going to be an essential stripped down trim, but also kind of a premium
one as well that's going to be lifted with some chunkier tires.
And if they use the platform that sits underneath, say,
like the Denza B5 vehicle, that would have locking diffs front and rear.
It would have 300 plus kilometers electric power alone, big battery
and 900 volt architecture, maybe.
And yes, if you still want to add fuel to it, then go and fill your boots
or rather, I should say, go and fill your tank.
B.Y.D. will build the Atto two.
That's their small electric SUV shaped vehicle in Hungary.
You want to four vehicles they'll make in Europe, not the plug in
hybrids, though, because you can bring them in from China and
there's no extra tariffs.
Cherry says Spain will start production this year, but they've
been meaning to make vehicles since 2024 in Barcelona.
They say it will happen as soon as possible in in Spain.
Maybe the Omoda five SUV or the possibly the JQ seven,
which is doing good business here.
Toyota announced the new Highlander for the United States.
That is a large three row SUV.
All the details coming in the next few days.
But the Highlander name itself has been in decline.
It peaked in twenty twenty one.
And this is, I think, a really smart thing to do so that you
haven't got to invent names like BZ four X, which firstly means
nothing. Also, Highlander means something to Toyota buyers.
This is the kind of vehicle that many Americans do want to go
by a big three row vehicle to be pure electric, by the way.
Only an 11 second teaser we've seen right now, but with a
battery electric vehicle logo on the back as well.
And the phrase all wheel drive, so dual motor by the look
of it, hopefully they've got all the money and talent
Toyota need. If they start taking EVs seriously, because
until now we can't take them seriously.
But this could be the first one outside of China, at least
that's at least worth half a look.
Audi do make good EVs.
They just don't tell enough of them.
But Audi are upgrading the A six E Tron and Q six E Tron
families. They already sit on a great platform, PPE.
But now they're adding more software, more integration,
capital carplay and auto all improved, more virtual
cockpit displays, more integration with Bluetooth
headphones for the passenger displays.

locally, not up to the cloud, which many people want for
security. There's even a new power nap mode.

in the vehicle, it will then tune the lighting, the
