E-REV
An E‑REV is a car that runs mostly on electric power but has a tiny gas engine to keep it going if the battery runs out.
E‑REV stands for Extended‑Range Electric Vehicle, a plug‑in hybrid that operates primarily as an electric car but has a small gasoline engine to extend range when the battery depletes.
