The CLA Shooting Brake is a type of car made by Mercedes-Benz. It's a sporty-looking wagon that has more space in the back for carrying things compared to a regular sedan.
A kilowatt-hour is a way to measure how much energy a battery can store. It helps you understand how far an electric car can go before it needs to be charged again.
DC fast charging is a quick way to charge electric cars. It gives a lot of power to the battery in a short amount of time, so you don't have to wait long.
The Tesla Model Y is an electric SUV made by Tesla. It's popular because it has a lot of space inside and comes with smart technology that helps with driving.
CO2 reduction targets are rules that tell car companies how much they need to lower their carbon dioxide emissions to help the environment.

It's even used briefly for Wednesday, November 26, everything you need to know, but without
listening to the 24 minutes on today's full podcast.
Mercedes-Benz have three stories at the beginning of the podcast today.
The first one is the CLA shooting break.
That's almost 500 miles on a charge in a state form or shooting break form, but
it starts at £47,000 here in the UK for an 85 kilowatt-hour battery, single motor on the
cheaper version, still 268 horsepower and big range, but there's also a 350 version of
that too, which is all wheel drive.
And that's the same specs for the Saloon version, and the Saloon version is now confirmed
in terms of its EPA rating.
So it's coming to North America, its EPA at 374 miles, EPA is always a bit more
realistic than WLTP, still a very, very good number, an 800-volt architecture, 320 kilowatt
DC fast charging, and Mercedes-Benz teaming up with Starbucks.
If you pull off Interstate 5 in Red Bluff, California, you'll not only get a coffee
stop but also a 400 kilowatt caffeine boost equivalent for your car.
Mercedes-Benz high-power charging and Starbucks opening the first DC fast charging hub there,
with many, many more to come.
Tesla has hit a wall in Europe, October's numbers halved on October last year, if you
look at the year-on-year data, and the market share of Tesla, which was 3% at one point,
that was a heyday, now we look back on it, is 0.6%.
They sold only 6,964 cars across all of Europe in October down from almost 14,000
for the same month last year.
So where are buyers going now?
Well, the old top-step gold medal-winning Model Y is no longer taking the crown.
Scotter's L-Rock was number one, Renault 5 was number two, Tesla's Model Y down in eighth.
Must remember, though, the Tesla's monthly figures in Europe, and that includes the
EFTA and the United Kingdom markets as well, they wrap all these numbers together, or
it does bounce around a little bit up and down.
So let's look at the year-to-date and smooth things over a little bit, and well, things
are bad, down 30% year-to-date this year across the block, compared to the same time last year.
Tesla's answer is not more models, though, but more lines of code.
Let's see, Yoelon Musk bets that we don't want different cars, or even refreshed models
to buy, but rather, as soon as full self-driving rolls out in Europe, that'll be the
fix that brings them back to growth.
Europe's EV sales for now continue to rise, Tesla not rising with all the others, though.
BMW i's range extenders for China, for the X5 and the 7 series as well.
Range extenders have really been the headline story over the last 18 months, but the last
four months in a row, EREVs, as they are, have actually declined.
And has the EREV bubble burst in China already, just as western car makers are going, hmm, maybe
we should think about this technology, maybe they want to listen to a spin-off podcast,
oh I don't know, called EV News China, which I do every day, most days, certainly weekdays
it won't be enough China news to talk about, as we decode what's happening in the east
for the global EV market, and BMW says that that could be what they need to do in China.
MG is planning a sub-25,000 pound MG, too, that would be an entry-level EV, four-year-up,
a compact hatchback, not at the bottom of the market, that's held really 12,000 to 15,000
pound cars here, but certainly the cheapest they sell.
Porsche have been benchmarking the Arnick 5N, and say we'll certainly bring the
fake gear shifts and fake engine noises to future Porsches, and Stalantis Chairman
John Elkin warning of the European auto industry in reversible decline, if they are held to
the CO2 reduction targets, that's briefly.
Despite wintry conditions and heavy traffic, the holidays have to go on, that's why Mercedes-Benz
SUVs come equipped with the latest safety technology to keep your festive plans on track. Discover
the incredible offers for yourself at the Mercedes-Benz Holiday Love Celebration.
