buy used cars on Amazon.

Certified pre-owned.

It would make sense to me

for brand new cars almost

because, you know, there was zero.

You just order it.

And then it turns out ordering it

like how used?

junkers?

a certified pre-owned dealer?

For it to be certified pre-owned,

it needs to be a dealer.

So I guess it makes sense.

They know they can give it

their label of approval.

But I don't understand

this weird shift

that normal people seem

to be moving to,

where they're just like

ordering cars they've never seen

or looked at before.

Maybe they are.

Maybe they're going to go

and look at one in a dealership

or somewhere first.

But that's crazy to me.

deliver on a car.

but there was auto trader

losing the losing dealers

basically because they're

sort of favoring the,

not favoring the buyer,

but they're taking the buying

and selling into their own hands

without actually consulting

any of the dealers.

From what I can understand

one of the biggest things

that people are upset about

is that you could go onto auto trader

and obviously people,

people,

auto trader charge dealers

a shit load of money a month.

Even small dealers are paying

thousands of pounds a month

for a few cars.

So,

and I saw a lot of people say

of dealer saying

it's by far my biggest expense

is auto trader.

However, auto trader

implemented a some form

of reservation system

where I can't remember

the number now.

I wanted to say it's

nine pounds.

But it was at 28 days.

Oh, right.

I think it's nearly a month,

but it is,

it's multiple weeks

where someone can click reserve

for 99 pounds

and that dealer

has to then keep that car reserved

and cannot sell it to anyone else

but the customer

can just cancel at any point.

So they could wait

three weeks or four weeks,

however many,

I want to say it's 28 days.

Ben, you check that for me please.

I think it's 28 days

and then on the 27th day

go,

don't actually want it.

And that dealer

has now had that car

sat on his lot

costing him money

for a month

and made nothing from it.

And I believe

it's just a final straw

in a long line of things

that they've kind of been

pushing dealers on.

Reservations are held

for 30 days.

Yeah, 30 days.

Absolutely mental.

And I know

a lot of them are finding

that auto trader

is still incredibly useful to them.

They sell the most cars

for auto trader.

So there is that

good side of it,

but they're also kind of

taking too much

into their own hands now

where

if I,

like anyone in my family

or anyone that's not
