Yeah, what are your regrets?
I don't have any.
They've all led me to the point I am at now.
There's nothing you've bought.
And I've got Lamborghini!
It's being loud, dear shoe farts.
You want to...
Blah, blah, blah, blah.
I'm just seeing on the left this fan is the Seed G.
Yeah, I can see that.
I was trying.
That's really not to laugh at it.
I was like, again, this is going to be...
What do you mean, debt cut back?
What do you mean, cut back?
Look, there's no one can see it.
Sorry, sorry.
Direct to Benjamin in the back.
Sorry, Ben.
Sorry, Ben.
Hello, and welcome back to the 59th...
Cars Rule Everything Around Me podcast.
If you are an audio listener, your ears do not deceive you.
We are in a moving motor vehicle right now.
We'll get onto that.
But first, before we do anything, William is to my left.
I am Edwin.
And behind me in the backseat is Benjamin.
Hello.
Very nice.
Very clean in the back.
At the beginning of every Cars Rule Everything Around Me podcast, we answer the question
to Cars Rule or Ruin Everything Around Us.
William.
It's going to be a rule, actually, I think...
Again, no reason to ruin.
And actually, I should be picking the glade out very, very soon.
I've got news today that everything is fixed on it.
Like everything is fixed.
So that should be back better than ever.
Still silencing the CL500.
So there is a hint of ruin in there.
Is that why we're driving in silence?
Yeah, I thought you could all get the treatment I get.
You should all be listening to the podcast anyway.
Just listen to it in your phone or whatever.
Well, we can actually listen to it right now.
We're doing it live.
Yeah.
Benjamin.
Hi.
Oh.
That was a rule of ruin, buddy.
No, rule for me this week.
First rule in a long time.
OK.
I bought the F2000 home this weekend.
I've been daily-ing it.
So you've driven your own car now?
I have.
I have indeed.
It's a very easy one.
Surely not.
It's far too low at the front.
But apart from that...
You say it.
It's great.
No, it looks great.
It looks great.
But it is too low to do anything.
Now, that's not your only car news.
Are you announcing it?
This Benjamin Rogers is pleased to announce...
The X5 is possibly sold.
I have agreed to sell it.
I have agreed on the price.
But until that money lands on my account,
you know, you can't really say anything's really sold.
Ben said that very confidently.
Then I offered to gamble with Benjamin.
I said, let's make a little bet
that I think you will still have
that X5 come January 1st.
By Christmas, actually, I think I said.
And Ben went from being
sexually confident about selling that X5
to going, well...
I don't want to say that.
No, I don't want to say that.
I just don't know what's going on.
The bet was made in the end.
Not for money, but for an L.
An official L.
The loser will receive an official L.
So we'll see how that goes.
I'll make sure we dot the I's
and cross the T's on this one.
Right, you've got your custom Waze Man on.
That was nice.
And that was quite nice, actually,
because it says police.
Is that a federal release?
There have been five reports so far
on the way here and there's been nothing.
Okay, so that's just a man on a bike.
That's great.
I think he's actually pissing.
Which is quite nice.
Benjamin, so you're sold?
Yeah, it's sold.
I've agreed to sell it.
I'm a swan.
And we've agreed on the bread,
i.e. the money.
And I'm just waiting for that
to land on the account.
And when it's on the account,
I will officially say I should be.
By next time, we film a podcast.
By next podcast, I should know.
And for sure.
You should also have your new cop.
Well, hopefully I'm going to buy a new daily this week.
And you've decided not on the car that you mentioned.
Well, I'm not going to announce it just yet,
because until it's...
Until it...
You don't want to speak unless spoken to.
Exactly, that's the one.
Exactly that.
So overall, it's a rule.
It's a rule for me, sure.
For me, it's a ruin.
Because this weekend,
we had a very nice event.
We had Matt Wood.
And that was really nice.
But after it, I went for a look
at a range of a classic.
I said in the last one,
I want to buy one.
There was one
that kind of met the criteria,
that was very expensive.
I went and looked at it,
and it was not very good.
It was quite...
I wouldn't look.
It's a range of a classic.
I'm not expecting it to be mint.
They're all pretty shit.
But this one was quite especially shit.
And he wanted a lot of money for it.
So I'm back to the drawing board.
There is...
I'm thinking now,
it might have to be a temporary daily
while I look for a good one.
That's a nice place to be.
He's kind of nice.
And then you can fill that gap
with something interesting,
something you might not have chosen.
And the car too.
Yeah.
Okay.
You can always fill that hole.
You need to get yourself a something.
Oh, that's interesting.
Because last time...
Fantastic.
A couple of years now.
A couple of years now,
where you said,
I need a winter daily.
I need a winter daily.
And then it takes on to actually get one,
but then it's somewhat better to get one.
Now, here is the interesting part.
I have fixed the C55.
Okay.
I could drive my own car,
but it doesn't make sense.
It makes a lot of sense.
Do you want it to make sense?
No, I don't like that.
I would like to sell that car.
Oh, you had all that time.
Sorry.
We'll get on to this,
but we are in France.
And French drivers,
if you're a French creamer,
maybe you have...
Would you got a crema there?
You drive badly.
You all drive badly.
It's quite crazy.
The lines are merely a guide.
So, yeah.
Overall for me, a ruin,
because, yeah,
I don't have a Range Rover.
I was hoping I would have one.
But let's get on to the important part.
Literally, as we just drive past the place
called Creamer over there.
We are in France
to look at a car
who were...
A French, not a French car at all.
No.
A movie car.
Yeah.
So, we've been to a Barnum's auction,
which has got lots of movie cars coming up for...
Oh, a current recording.
They are coming up for auction.
By the time you see this,
it'll be done and dusted.
Long gone.
But it's very cool stuff.
There's an actual screen-used
Evo 7 stunk car
from 2 Fast and Furious.
A replica of the R34 from 2 Fast and Furious.
And some other Fast and Furious things.
Yeah.
And there's the car from Drive,
which Ben enjoyed a lot.
I did. That was great.
And it's motivated me to watch that movie now.
And Ben sold it to me.
Ben, you believe that you're Ryan Gosling?
I'm him.
Oh, I am him.
We are all him.
Okay, fair.
Completely understand.
It's a genuinely great film.
And it not only had the car,
but the actual jacket for the movie,
which is quite famous.
That's what Ben was more excited about.
Ben saw the jacket and went,
I want that.
Ben treated the jacket.
You know when people go into the Vatican or something,
and they just want to touch something holy.
So, I just got to feel it.
Listen, it's not all cars, guys.
It is all cars.
There's cool clothing that exists as well.
Ben, I would say that cars rule everything around me.
It's kind of my mantra.
I think they've ruined everything, right?
It's just said.
Yeah, this is a good idea for podcasts.
So yeah, the reason we...
Do we say?
Do we say what we look at?
Let's say.
Okay.
Well, we looked.
Because amongst all of these shiny,
lovely, either replica or screen news cars,
was a hunk of shit in the back.
It really was the perfect idea.
It was hidden.
There were cars kind of going around
the perimeter of the room.
And behind two at a corner,
there was this one with no light on it.
And what it is,
is one of the Monte Carlo's from Tokyo Drift.
And it isn't any Monte Carlo.
It is supposedly the one that did the jump
against the Viper.
So damn cool.
So we decided, we've won a bid on this car.
We can't really do that without going to look at it.
So we thought, let's make a video out of doing it,
having a look around the collection,
the cars that are being sold.
And so you join us in the car,
driving back from the museum to Charles de Gaulle Airport,
hoping we won't miss our flight
because of French-Paris traffic.
So we'll see how it goes.
But what have we...
So that's our day of the day.
Yeah, we did see some very cool stuff that
there are movies I realize I just haven't seen.
Just cool cars.
We also found out that Ben...
Knows nothing.
Knows absolutely nothing about anything at all.
Really not a single clue.
I should have known really beforehand.
Really not a clue.
No, no, no. Sorry.
We walked past to the General Lee and you went,
I've seen that car before.
Even you say it now,
I have no idea what you're talking about.
God.
And then also Starsky and Hutch, no idea.
Knight Rider.
Didn't know what Kit was.
That is insane.
No, I know the film.
I just don't know what that was.
What was it?
It's probably more famous
in the future, DeLorean.
But still, you knew what that was.
Yeah, I've seen it.
I've seen it back in the future.
But even then, you don't have to have seen,
like I don't think I've ever fully watched
the original Starsky and Hutch,
but I still know it.
Listen, we can't all be 45.
I'm sorry.
In the future, still not.
And that's what you are.
What's that?
Oh, that says penis science.
No, it's tyres in French.
So those are our rules and rules for the week.
That's what we're doing at the moment.
Shall we get on to some neckdotes and what such?
Let's do that.
Benjamin, you're going to be the man
with the...
Oh, it's me.
Oh, I can do it.
I can absolutely do it.
I don't think I'm ready for that promotion just yet.
OK.
You've been...
You are a newsman, though.
Exactly.
When the news comes in, I'm ready to talk,
but when it comes to...
Right, here we go.
We're starting with Benjamin.
This is something you've put in.
It's just the word car regrets.
Yes, I had a thought about this
in the car on the way home the other day.
OK.
Why are you laughing at me, William?
It's just funny.
When I saw that message come through,
I thought,
all I thought of you
is just sitting there looking all pensive.
Pensive.
With your STK.
I regret this.
I shouldn't have done it.
Well, we...
What did you regret?
No, I didn't necessarily.
I'm just saying that we all have regrets in life.
No.
No one's going to go through life
and not regret something.
I don't.
Let's not dwell on them, of course.
But...
Let bygones be bygones.
What are the regrets?
And this is a question for the Creamers as well,
to perhaps comment on.
Do you have enough...
Your biggest regret with cars?
I wish I hadn't bought that car.
I wish I hadn't modified it in that way.
I wish I hadn't have done that.
I actually kind of ruined the way it drove.
What a talk to me.
I don't think I regret a single thing I bought a car
or modified of it.
I regret not doing things.
Okay.
Please.
Would you expand on that?
Show your workings.
My Markfall Golf.
The one that I regret selling that to my sister
and I regret not buying it back.
Actually, no way.
I don't mind that she had it,
but I mind that I didn't buy it back.
I regret not doing more mods on cars that I bought.
Yeah.
There are many things,
but you know what?
Hindsight is 2025.
And that's what we're in.
Sure.
So, you know, you can't...
You can't...
Don't look back in anger.
It's the question.
What a song.
Now, my question to you, though,
is sure there's something...
Like, can't you...
You know what?
I'd at least do that.
Ben, it feels like there's something...
Just please.
No, I don't...
I'm just saying that I don't...
I don't think I do
because I research everything so incredibly.
There is...
I make sure that...
I never buy something on a whim.
Maybe I do,
but even then I've done research previously to it.
Not even on the C55?
No, because it did my job.
It did my job.
Mate, you need to present it for your YouTube channel.
No worries.
Okay.
No, it did its job.
You're at 850.
No, because that is what got me into doing it.
I did stuff to that car.
Like, I know it's not done,
and it's the statue supreme,
but I'm glad I bought it.
The TEC 911.
Also, if I hadn't bought the 850,
we'd never know who this.
There we go.
I know this is a great friend.
I know this has been a valuable addition to us.
That's 205.
Oh, cool.
It's a little jeep.
Yeah, nice.
People listening, that was a 205.
Imagine one of those.
Okay, great.
Ben's wonderful imagination at work again.
Imagine that.
I can't make you see it.
I've just got to explain this.
I can't make you see it.
Ben, you're digging so deep.
What is...
You must have...
What's troubling you, mate?
No, nothing imminently.
The A3.
Oh, God, yeah.
The A3.
X5?
My piece of sport.
No, I like the X5.
Now, is the ST1000 in that list?
Not currently.
No.
I had a moment.
I had a moment with it.
I had a moment.
Because currently the front of it is just far too low.
It looks quite cool,
but the front of it is far too low to do anything.
I was driving it around and I was like,
you know what?
Why have I done this?
Would it be better if it was stock?
And then I hit a nice...
It's a Gallardo.
It's a Gallardo.
Everyone listening, imagine a Gallardo.
No, it was a faceless actually.
Let people imagine the right one.
A faceless Gallardo.
I had a moment where I was like,
you know what?
Should I have modified it at all?
Should I have kept it stock?
Would it have been better car if I kept it stock?
But you know what?
I actually...
I then did a nice little...
Nice little into a corner.
Acceleration, I thought.
Hard on the brakes or not?
No, off the brakes.
On the accelerator actually.
But hard on the accelerator.
Yeah, famously.
Did you really just tip the nose in?
Yeah.
The rear end.
Just feel the mechanical grip coming through.
Just feel the snap oversteer.
Just take you into a hedge.
So that's it.
That's your only regret.
No, I've got my A3, my Suzuki Swift Sport.
You regret?
Okay, you had problems with that though, right?
I was borrowing bad.
What about your micro, your first car?
No, I regret.
I regret.
Do you know what I actually regret about that car?
I'm letting it go.
There you go.
My brother had it.
My younger brother had it.
And he, when he learned to drive,
and he had it for like...
For first month of driving.
And then, it's to be fair,
it was quite rough by the time he had it.
And then...
Who did that?
No, it was just rusting.
It wasn't bent.
No, it wasn't bent.
Well, it was already £200 when I bought it.
Who's got that?
Mr. Deferred Maintenance himself.
What I'm saying is,
and then him and my dad were like,
let's get rid of it.
Now, you regret getting rid of it,
but what was the option?
I had no money.
I couldn't have...
But that's what I'm saying is,
what would you have done?
If you just kept it for 10 years
and that'd been your only car,
you might have regretted that.
Yeah, and you'd regret the other opportunities
that you'd lost out on.
If you kept the micro,
would you be here today?
Exactly.
You'd probably be dead
because it would be crashed.
Do you know what, fair.
But that car...
Have I ever said this before
in the podcast?
I'm not sure.
My mic for my first car.
Okay, imagine a micro.
Imagine a K11 micro in blue.
K11?
Yep.
Nice.
I just said,
imagine a K11 micro.
You were like,
was that a K11?
Yeah, that's interesting.
That car actually,
I don't think I've talked about this before.
It went away
and I think it got auctioned off
for about £100.
And then my brother was at university
and he came across my exact car
just in the car park.
And he left a letter note on it.
Never came to fruition.
He never said anything.
But I saw it driving
one more time after that
and I wish...
I just wish I pursued that.
That's my biggest regret
to then buy it back.
Which means it wasn't meant to be.
No.
It still exists.
Just seen on the left this van
is the Seed G.
I didn't see that.
I was trying.
That's really not to laugh at it.
I was like,
again, this is going to be...
What do you mean,
debt cut back?
Because no one can see it.
Sorry.
Sorry, Benjamin.
Sorry, Ben.
No one can see it.
What the f*** do you think
about the entirety of the car cost?
It says the word Seed G.
Cut that.
So is that all for your regrets, Ben?
People can't see.
Is that all your regrets?
What?
Yeah.
So basically it's every single car
you've ever owned.
Yeah.
What are your regrets?
I don't have any.
They've all led me to the point
I am at now.
There's nothing you've bought.
And I've got Lamborghini!
Do you know what I actually do?
Some cars I think I regretted selling.
But again, I don't
because you move on to something else
and try something different.
So it's not really a regret.
Some of them you feel sad about
or nostalgic about.
But my M3,
I didn't want to sell that
when I did sell it.
So that's like, it's not a regret
as such, but it's like...
It's pretty basic.
Do you know what?
I regret you selling your F-10 M5.
I don't regret it as such.
No, but I regret you selling it.
I hate...
Oh, okay.
Oh, sorry.
That was not deliberate.
But we were listening to
Fast and Furious
because we were getting
in the zone of Fast and Furious
on the way.
I regret...
One thing I genuinely sort of regret
or I wish I had the knowledge
earlier on
is when I had bought that GT-R
many years ago
is spending all that money on it
and not financing it
or buying something that made more sense.
I could have bought a Gallardo then.
I would have got made redundant
and had to sell it
and been in all sorts of pain.
But I would have at least
made a little bit of money on it.
So sometimes I think about that.
I'm like,
would that have been more sensible
back then?
It's all part of the car journey.
Handsight.
You wish you had it.
You know, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
It's a river in Egypt.
And Ben thrives on hindsight.
But that's true, Ben.
That's why I think you have more regrets
than the average man.
You're Mr. Hindsight.
No, I don't.
I love that song.
There's nothing wrong with looking back
and thinking, you know what?
That was a poor decision.
Okay.
Well, I think that's fair.
I think it's good to...
It's reflective.
Exactly.
It's good to look back and go,
okay, I made an L.
I made myself an L there.
But you guys look at it
and I go, okay, that was bad.
You look at it and go,
ah, well, I spoke.
Yeah, true.
That's true.
Because again, it was a learning.
Hey, you know what?
As a New Yorker would say,
what are you going to do about it?
That's fair.
You know what?
It's the philosophy you grew up with.
Right.
What have we got next?
Next on the list,
we have Ford now sells used cars
on Amazon.
Yes, I saw this.
Okay.
Can you speak about it?
Yeah, I'm going to find it.
Okay.
Sorry.
Ford orders.
Can you do that one tap die thing
where you accidentally order 30 grand?
We'll be delivered by Tuesday.
Okay, that's nice.
Then on Tuesday, it says,
it's still arriving today.
I know at 11 o'clock it goes,
arrive tomorrow morning.
And then in its list of features,
it just has advisories on its next demo team.
Not going to pass the next one.
Reviews.
Mine was dreadful.
Reviews, but it's for that car.
It's all the previous owners
that have gone, hey, this was fantastic.
It's an interesting concept.
I mean, I'm really hoping that Ben will chime in
with some actual news from this news.
I'd love to know about it.
Ford's new Amazon rollout
lets shoppers browse CPO cars,
not what that means,
from dealers within 75 miles.
And it's not just Ford's.
There are Jeeps,
Chevy's.
This is American, obviously.
But you can apparently
buy used cars on Amazon.
CPO means
Used cars.
Certified pre-owned.
It would make sense to me
for brand new cars almost
because, you know, there was zero.
You just order it.
And then it turns out ordering it
like how used?
Are we talking like actual
junkers?
Or are we talking like
a certified pre-owned dealer?
For it to be certified pre-owned,
it needs to be a dealer.
So I guess it makes sense.
They know they can give it
their label of approval.
But I don't understand
this weird shift
that normal people seem
to be moving to,
where they're just like
ordering cars they've never seen
or looked at before.
Maybe they are.
Maybe they're going to go
and look at one in a dealership
or somewhere first.
But that's crazy to me.
The whole click and
deliver on a car.
It's a car, man.
You have to go and try different ones.
I don't understand it.
It made that bigger shift
since COVID.
Yeah.
It's like, it's really everyone going,
oh, well, you know,
we kind of had to do that.
But now we don't have to do that.
They go, well, actually,
I quite like that, actually.
Yeah.
But it just feels odd to
make one of the biggest
purchases you will ever make.
Exactly.
I'll just see what happens
when it turns up.
I guess some of them
they're probably new enough
and, you know,
boring enough
that it's got much of a muchness.
Unless you actually want to spec a car
or get a particular color
or whatever, then you just go,
yeah.
I'm sure people are going to say
that this is a thing,
but it's not like you could do it
with a house.
No.
You don't go on the right way
and just go, all right,
well, I'll go by
and click buy
and just go move this.
Oh, my house has been delivered to.
That's been delivered.
Where is it?
You have to go there.
Oh, what?
I don't, I never understand this
because it's the new daily
I'm currently looking at.
It's from a dealer
and it says on the advert,
it says,
call now to range delivery today.
So I can just buy it online
without looking at it.
That's a used car.
Yeah.
You can't just go and not look at it.
Have we spoken about the
auto trader thing?
No, that's quite so that was,
I mean, I don't know
like the full ins and outs of it,
but there was auto trader
losing the losing dealers
basically because they're
sort of favoring the,
not favoring the buyer,
but they're taking the buying
and selling into their own hands
without actually consulting
any of the dealers.
From what I can understand
one of the biggest things
that people are upset about
is that you could go onto auto trader
and obviously people,
people,
auto trader charge dealers
a shit load of money a month.
Even small dealers are paying
thousands of pounds a month
for a few cars.
So,
and I saw a lot of people say
of dealer saying
it's by far my biggest expense
is auto trader.
However, auto trader
implemented a some form
of reservation system
where I can't remember
the number now.
I wanted to say it's
nine pounds.
But it was at 28 days.
Oh, right.
I think it's nearly a month,
but it is,
it's multiple weeks
where someone can click reserve
for 99 pounds
and that dealer
has to then keep that car reserved
and cannot sell it to anyone else
but the customer
can just cancel at any point.
So they could wait
three weeks or four weeks,
however many,
I want to say it's 28 days.
Ben, you check that for me please.
I think it's 28 days
and then on the 27th day
go,
don't actually want it.
And that dealer
has now had that car
sat on his lot
costing him money
for a month
and made nothing from it.
And I believe
it's just a final straw
in a long line of things
that they've kind of been
pushing dealers on.
Reservations are held
for 30 days.
Yeah, 30 days.
Absolutely mental.
And I know
a lot of them are finding
that auto trader
is still incredibly useful to them.
They sell the most cars
for auto trader.
So there is that
good side of it,
but they're also kind of
taking too much
into their own hands now
where
if I,
like anyone in my family
or anyone that's not
to do with cars,
if you mention cars to them
in the UK,
they'll go,
I'll go an auto trader.
And for a long time
as a customer
of auto trader,
it works.
First place I go.
There's a good amount
of results.
You can sort it
by a nice,
you know,
lots of different filters
and that sort of stuff.
So it's helpful,
but I can imagine
the dealer side,
they're like,
I'm struggling enough
as it is to buy
and sell cars.
I mean, I'm assuming this was
a huge dealer,
but there was one guy
who said he was
spending about 36 grand a month.
I saw that
on auto trader.
That is a disgusting amount
of money for
to have someone
make you
also by the way,
you can't sell your car.
Your pure,
it's just to connect people.
I guess that is one
of the most important parts
of it is connecting
a buyer to a seller.
But
all the main cost
is coming from the dealer
themselves.
Can I reserve anything?
Can I reserve
like a Lamborghini
or a trader
story?
I'm sure there will be dealers
on there that offer cars
like that.
You could do that.
But they are then
not legally blinded,
but to not be penalized,
they must reserve that car.
If I'm looking around
that car
and then
they get a ping on their phone
saying it's reserved,
they can't sell that car
to me now.
Even if I'm a cash buyer
there,
not that cash is
sought after
for dealers,
for some dealers,
they would go,
no, I can't
someone's reserved it.
Go see what they do.
Even that's right there.
That's a Clio RS 200
and a Radar
that is a super rare
special edition 200
that is matte.
And then
Francis Well,
that's cool.
I'm having matte paint.
And now we'll get on to
one to the weekend a bit,
but that's one of mine.
OK.
What's up next?
What next?
That's me.
Sorry.
Hi.
My next
is S1LN
not all the same owner.
Then give us
some background.
Now
me and Edward
actually discussed this
yesterday evening.
That's because
Ben stayed at my house
and he had a sleepover.
He had a sleepover
without you.
Crazy.
We just had
one big bed
and we all
And I said,
roll over.
Little one said,
roll over.
And it was nice.
I said,
it was last night
because we had to get
early to fly here.
And we were sat
just watching YouTube stuff
really.
And we
started discussing this.
I watched a promotional
video for the
new Gordon Murray
S1LN,
is it called?
Yes.
The
recently,
McLaren F1
of the modern day,
they've just announced
and they were
pushing it off
at RMSO
Las Vegas
last night.
Last night?
No, last Friday.
A few days ago.
Anyway
and
one of the things
we were told
when that car was
announced at Monterrey
Car Week was that
there were five of them
11 million each
and
one person
but all of them.
Yes.
But then I started
watching a promotional
video for this
auction.
It was
Homes as a Plurum
which got me thinking.
Maybe that was
misinformation of the week.
Me and I see my
Mexican friend.
That's the one.
But then
Edwin chimed in
with some more information
that I didn't know.
I did.
So there is on
Top Gear website
a very good
article
that is
with a
nameless man
who is
the person
that we were all believed
was the single owner
of all of the
S1LNs
and he basically
told a story saying
that he had owned
a car
through that
he met
Gordon Murray
really loved his ideas
and his thought
really loved his ideas
and his thoughts
for the T50
he was
supposedly the first
customer.
Oh hello mate
he was
supposedly the first
person to ever
put a deposit down
on a T50
because he was like
I believe
I believe in whatever
you're doing
anyway
they got his T50
he's
and he's been
working close
with Gordon Murray
he said to him
I need a guarantee
no
and Gordon Murray said
okay fine
logistics wise
we need to build
five
and they're going to
cost twenty mill each
and
through then
some other bits and mobs
they managed to work out
if they co-developed it
would I believe
that other one
the Le Mans thing
they could bring
the cost price down
to about ten or eleven
mill which is where
that figure of ten
mill each came from
so I believe
that this
this person
this nameless figure
I believe he's called
Ben Rogers
I mean there's no one else
who could afford it
no
multi billionaire
multi billionaire Ben
so
that I believe
he fronted the money
for this
for this creation
and but he's very picky
about who gets to buy one
because he doesn't want it
to just be
buy one stick one in a shed
we were worried that
they might end up
just going into collections
never to be seen again
because even if one or two
of them
end up getting used
properly out on the roads
track whatever it is
well so
and supposedly
that's what that meant by
that's what Gordon Murray
meant by we wanted them
to go to correct homes
that's what it's for
so this unnamed man
Ben in the backseat
brackets
has said
fine we can sell them off
I want mine
and then the rest
must be given to people
who will use them
so you know what
maybe at S111
coming to a road near you
coming to the TLC unit
actually
a small shout out
that literally happened today
my friend Will
sent me a
forwarded message
that his girlfriend
had sent
oh look what was at the gym
this morning
and just sent me a photo
of like five in the morning
a GMAT 50
just outside a gym
whoever you are
cool
you're doing
you're doing what the F1
was supposed to be
before back in the day
ultimate street car
is what it's supposed to be
do it
use it
Gordon Murray himself
Gordon said let me
just run down do
do back today
I've got you know
you know I try
to do biceps
leg day in it
so I thought
middle sitting position
sounds like the best
idea for that if I'm
honest
now on from that
surely
surely we're talking about
the sale price
the sale price
which was 20.2
20 million
650 thousand dollars
that knows because it
just exited as a count
because I've been
so it came in
so it came in
the new daily
is meant to be secret
can we stop spoiling it
thank you
but you bought your own car
yes that's it
you hyped the price up
I bought five
so I sold one
because I don't need
five
so 20 million dollars
which is
because that's still
less than an F1
well
in theory
we haven't seen one
kind of trade publicly
for a while
but if you wanted that
that vibe
in an F1
like a GTR
oh yeah
that's not an F1 road car
no yeah
that's something more than that
you're going to pay
you're rich milli there
I'd say
yeah you've got
pennies I guess
so interesting
but like
the car doesn't exist
it's not a thing
yet
so
that was
the other confirmation
that we got
sold slot
it's for a configuration
so you don't have to have it
you can have it however you want
I'm interested in
what specs
what specs
because I quite like the spec it's in
the one they revealed
but
what are we doing here folks
let's not ruin it
let's not mess it up
now here's my question
okay
we're on a question
statement
okay
I don't know anything about anything
right
okay that's a good one
but I thought it would be one for more
why is that
because
I read originally
that it was
in offers in
or bidding
excess of 20 million
and bidding might have started
like 5 million I have no idea
but
I looked at it
I thought
oh that's a lot of money obviously
but I thought it would be more
Tobin thought
you thought it's a good deal
you'd have to
that's why you chucked the bidding bid on
you thought
you weren't expecting to win that
if no one else was going to bid on
I thought
oh they're basically giving these away
yeah
but
the thing that's interesting though
is that
an F1
was a
I can't remember what
the number of justice for inflation was
but it was a couple hundred thousand pound car
it was
obscenely expensive back in the 90s
but it's not
wasn't 20 million
much
it's kind of like
GMAT 50 is about right
so
over a T50
it's obscene
it's what
it's five
four or five times the amount
as a T50
there's now
there has been a T50
that's gone through auction
or there is
there's about to be another one as well right
Abu Dhabi
there is going to be chassis 14
McLaren F1
which was the original
one of the original Brunei cars
which was a yellow car
that got repainted white
it's the one we saw
that is going through
with a T50
so we will see them
side by side
what they go for
he's spent all his money now isn't he
so
funny how
gonna have to take
finance out to get that one
just
just
just gonna cripple the podcast
Benjamin
if you keep spending like that
we're doing this one in the dark
we won't be doing it in Audi's anymore
oh yeah
that's the other thing
we are in a rental
sixth
for some reason
is the only one
company I can find
that will take
a non-credit card
and they for the same price
of it
as a
what is it called
an Astra
was a luxury wagon
so we've got an Audi
it's an event
or a station wagon
or a state
whatever you want to call it
it's got four doors
not the big one
the small one
yeah it's a sort of small
three series size
so that's an A4
that's the A4
no
we're in an Audi A5 event
the one that we talked about
a couple of weeks ago
we are in our rolling nightmare
we're inside it
I mean
should have just done it
at the desk when they said
your A5
what's an A4
no A5
no
it's an A4
truly speaking
it is an A4
despite the name
it is
it's so new car
your
your dash
goes from
your door
to
into my part
and then it stops here
like stops over
the centre console
and then I've got
my own screen
in the passenger seat here
which
I discovered
when I was in the passenger seat
early on
you can't see
that screen
no if I go into
only if you pick a particular menu
so I'm in navigation now
we'll not see it
you're just staring at that screen
yeah
whereas if I click home
you can now see
I can see
two Fastifuro soundtracks
and I've got 770 kilometres
of range left
which is quite impressive
which is quite impressive
but this is a 2 litre
diesel
correct
Estronic
so it's got
DSG gear box
although when I did a kick
down earlier to move it
it did feel like a CVT
it felt like I was
kicking down into
all the gears
just mushed together
into one
into rubber band
yeah
what's your understanding
of how a CVT transmission
works
two big cones
one big belt
absolutely correct
good stuff
what we've got next
let's have a peek
let's have a peek to the old bus
wheel
it does have a cloth seat
though
I wish I like
I like them quite a lot
and they're heated at the front
I'm starting to
what have you got in the back
I'd like to show you
what I've got is
I can choose my client control
and I have two charging ports
have you got
car back there
because we've got like
car up here
you've got car
I've got less car
you've got less car
it's also not that comfy
back here I guess
no
it's quite hard
I find these seats quite
hard I mean this is not
a review by any means
just quite base spec
cream reviews
but I feel
I feel so little
towards this car
now the next thing
will
you have put in
is the new Genesis
the new Genesis
now unfortunately
I wasn't expecting
to be speaking about it
while driving
so I may need
some aid
on some information
I will do that
Genesis revealed
a load of
cars
or some cars
there was a station wagon
yes which I
I think there was a saloon
which I may have just made up
and there was a
like a sports
slash supercar
so we're going to start
with a sports supercar
it looks very cool
it's set to launch
with its
its very own supercar
and it'll be powered
by a twin turbo
V8 engine
3.8
I'm going to tell you that
right now
when I scroll through the article
I think this is what I
read about the
the saloon
3.2 litre
twin turbo V8
the Genesis created
by sticking
two 1.6 litre
four-pot
rally engines together
that's cool
for its Le Mans
hypercar
where did I get all them from
but it's like
actual car
it's not like
oh that car looks amazing
ah it's electric
no it's
also
shame on the rest of you
yeah
if this is possible
and I'm not saying
like Hyundai
I think is on a streak
at the moment
the I-20N
the I-30N
are both
really good fun cars
I like them a lot
and
I still wouldn't
choose one
I'd go for something else
instead
but I like the
I like the effort
they're trying
they're doing things
that's cool
A plus for effort
and then the
the wagon
the wagon
the estate car
that stood out to me
because it just
it looked
really cool
but I saw an image
and I just thought
that's going to be electric
yeah and then
I read
lo and behold
words
so the Genesis
now that's a concept
obviously they're all concepts
but they are saying
but they're
concept
G90
the wing back
the G90 wing back
that's just a bit of a
but they're saying
that it is something that
they want to do
because it's their magma
is what they're calling it
which is a little bit
Dr Evil
magma
is their M line
is going to be Genesis
is
M
what
M
what letter should we get
literally
what about
M
magma
there's so many letters
M is not being used
we should go for that one
an N
so
but it is supposedly
an S class
sized wagon
so that's big boy
that's M5
M5 RS6
style thing
and so
but the
the chunk of this thing
is absolutely lovely
I can't find any information
about the engine
on the wagon
I think the wagon
is like a
hey man
what if
but the
the super car thing
is like
we've got ideas
I'm wondering if there's
some form of homologation
if they're needing to do it
for
for racing
which would be cool
I have a theory
about cars
okay the movie
or the things
only the things
the objects
the cars
I think they will be getting
better
you think there's been enough
backlash
I think
after a little while
people will go
hang on a sec
hang on
hang on a sec
so we're delaying
all this electric stuff
so we can just go back
to Petra Wendon's
stuff now
and they're like
you know what it is
it's a parent
with a child who's been
missing him badly
it's like
look
if you do your homework
if you've done a couple
electric cars
you can go back to the twin
turbo V8
I know you like them
but also
have a quick one
there's so many modern
things now
that in the last 10 years
that have come along
that could make it better
like
I use Porsche as an example
you might like the new
Turbo S
the fact that it's part
electric
but they are doing it
in the way it should be
which is to make the
car quicker and better
and faster
is less of that
yeah
just go back to the basics
give me more engine
you want cars
give me better engine
also
give me more stuffs
especially if
super
okay low volume
super car manufacturers
not when I say low volume
I mean
you know
Huracans
I know they're still
sold lots of
or sorry
Temararios
but they're still
not high volume
they're not selling
like Cayennes
that person
granted
most people who buy them
don't really care
going to Singer
going to Retro Power
going to Gunther Works
and spending all this money
to have a car
that doesn't have any
of the new stuff
surely must tell manufacturers
ah people don't
people actually like this
so little
that they're willing to go
out of their way
to go and find something
that doesn't have it
that's got to be a telltale
that they're going back
I just
I just got this
this burning feeling
that it's
they're going to go
yeah you know what
cars are back
cars too
cars will be coming back
I don't know
that'll just mean all the
classic car stuff
will just go
oh so this isn't
worth a load of money anymore
hey
I don't think that
there will always be
interest in the really
cool or really rare
classic stuff
but it would be nice
if someone went
you know what
sud it
the V12 S class
is coming back
they're going to make
an 8 series
and yes it will have
a V12 in it
but
in my lifetime
I hope
God I hope
that would be lovely
what we got next
Ben
you have put in here
the new
see you laser
yeah
there's been
another see you laser
video
a third
another funny moments
the cream podcast
and we will laugh
very much
at the intro
particularly
as always
go find it
see you laser
he's
he's got among men
he's
creamer of the week
he's got to be
yeah absolutely
so as always
go watch those
thank you for taking
us out of context
I'd say
we were being listened to
maybe there were
more
deliberate
drop-ins
than
most
I think third we're back to
yeah that was
kind of
real bullshit
I listened to some of them
I was like
what am I talking about man
what are we saying
I listened back to it
and I thought
I kind of find this funny
but why does everyone else
find this funny
it's funny to us
but some of it is
it's pure gibberish
it's laughing at someone
yeah I think it's what it is
and that's fine
that's completely fine
fly on the wall
look at those guys
they're so dumb
what have we got next
we've next
I have got
this is a little rant
black lettering
on dark cars
okay I'm willing
to fight this corner
let's go
you know how
new cars
you can have
badged
you can have your badges
in certain colours
you can have it
normally the classic is chrome
your chrome badges
now I understand
that's not forever on
but
things like
asteris and
Porsches
the Porsche is the classic
you have
dark lettering
this is black
why are you
paying more for it
on a
on a dark car
you can't see it
so just get rid of it
like a Cayenne
you can have a model deletion
you can delete the badge
but you're paying more
to have it black
but you can't see it
no but you can't
I was driving behind on yesterday
for an hour
and you could only see it
when you get like this close
a metre or so
you can see if you walked past it
of course
if you owned it
you'd better see it
yeah but
if you got the big boy
but then why wouldn't you have it silver
so that people can see it
because then it doesn't fit the rest of it
if you want a car that is
murdered out
but there you go
then you want everything to be black
but it's like saying
my trims are black
so I'll just remove them
but then why wouldn't you have a D badge
if you have a black grille
so I'll just have a new grille
no but the grille
the grille is still there
as part of an aesthetic
the badge is just there
it's just a name
but you can still see it
but you can't
when you're driving behind it
in the light
you cannot see it
but look at the new asteris
when you're driving behind one
you can't make out the word astra
the wagon things
it's ridiculous
you're spending more money
to have something that does nothing
it makes no sense
just get rid of it then
have it gone
agree and disagree
depends on what the badge is
on an astra perhaps it's not worth it
but it might not be
it might be standard
it might not be costimism
astra it might have gone
I don't think they're
no cost
I think they are
a lot of cars people just
they know people want
black badges now
but also they'll know that
people will pay for
a pack
on Porsche
you're going to be paying
bread for that
and yet
you can't see
I just don't understand it
it doesn't make sense to me
what is it
you can get a Rolls Royce
and Bentley
and it's very expensive
to get the
like black badge stuff
but again that's the same thing
where the badge is black
so you can't actually
see the details of it
but people want
the full dark thing
but that's fine
because you can still see
there's still silver
within the badge
that makes it
you can see it
like it's not the full
thing black
blacked out
but on a white car
you'd understand it
what?
yeah
then I can get it
on a silver car
or a dark car
but I was behind a
black Cayenne
with a black badge
and I thought it was
debudged
until I got about a meter
from it in traffic
and then finally
saw the word Cayenne
perhaps I need to go to
Spexhavers
that is also possible
I'm legally blind
Benjamin
a black badge
Ben's just quiet
Ben doesn't like
when mum and dad fight
but all the time
like all the time
I do
I don't
care
okay
alright
don't worry about it
we're on a podcast
don't worry about
I just don't
think I care about my
badges
my badges colour is
I never think it makes
a difference
that's
okay that's interesting
what about chrome trims
and what
does that
affect you at all?
if there's like
excessive
but no
I don't really
ever notice
like your X5
for example right
I couldn't tell you
you have got
that's right
not your X5
apparently according to you
but it has
dark trims
does it?
I actually don't know
if there is a normal chrome one
but if that was all chrome
it would look
look at that
like Q7
don't mind it
it's fine
that looks like two
but do you know what
now here's something
I will agree
dark trims
if it's got
tinted windows
if it's got
chrome trims
then they should be
fully see-through
because it adds to it
yes
and
I don't think there is
there is a case
I can't give it a flat
like
damn man
can't be this
it is
case by case
on most things
but
this veto in front
well there you go
this Tesla has black
window trims
I don't think it
adds anything
the fact that it's black
I also don't think
I would care
if it was silver
it doesn't make a difference
so Ben
perhaps I'm with you buddy
whenever I look at
like that
Tesla now
if I look at it
I think that would look
weird
but with chrome
I guarantee if it had chrome
for the creamers
to juke it out
in the comments
I think it would be
75
25
in
75 people
black trim favour
I would agree
I think most people
are on that
black trim game
and there will be
the chrome elite
despite having a little
thing in their brain
that says
do actually quite
like the black
trims
I don't like that
at all
it's too chintzy
for me
I would like to
see myself
in the reflection
of my trims
black trims
the next thing
I've put on there
is the HWA crash test
I saw that
so
Ben
do you know what the HWA is?
I've no idea
there was a company
in Germany
I believe
called HWA
who are doing
essentially a rest-o-mod
190E
Cosworth
but an Evo 2
which is the wide body
the big wing
the really cool one
I think they're going
for like a 100
a total of about 100 cars
it's got a
modern V6 twin
turbo in it
with a 5-speed manual
which is very cool
but
because I think
they're registering
them
as new cars
they have to be crash tested
and I watched
there was a crash test
done last week
and it's
quite sad
just seeing
like a nice Evo 2
Merc being
crashed
but I saw that
and then I saw
a
I think it was a
classic American
on Instagram
an American car
rest-o-mod
being crash tested
as well
that's kind of crazy
you're having to
jump through
all these hoops
just to sell a car
that
exists already
what was the
O'Carnagsegg
that was like
the almost sort of
viral one
where it was
they had to be
selling enough cars
so they have to do
crash test ones
and it's just
a
millions of pounds
worth of cars
just blasting
into a wall
and they need
multiple of those
to be able to
like sign it all off
and then
the
there's the one
with the hammer test
man doing that
just getting to
just be
whistling these all
for the day
the smashest one
but you understand
they're going
this is definitely the crash one
this is the right one
this is the crash one
this isn't a billionaire's one
who's going to come kill me
he starts smashing it up
and they go
right now pull the crash one in
no no no
please
please
I'm so sorry
mate
but yeah
it's amazing to me
that that is now
a thing that
people are going to have
it's going to have
more and more
some governments are going to go
no
it's not the original one anymore
you've got that
all carbon fibre tub
brother
let's go again
I would like to crash test
something
do you know what I would
quite like to do
is
just crash test
lots of cars
like older stuff
just to see
I bet people will be
quite fearful of older cars
if you suddenly start
seeing how bad
obviously they were
tested at time
if you started
smashing new cars
into old cars
and you go
oh
I think it's IHI
classic Malibu
against the new one
yeah
it's tough
it's just a wrap
it's a
I think a front overlap test
which is where
like half of the front
half of the front
goes into the other
half of the front
of the other car
and it just wraps around it
it just
crumples
back when we had that
Corsa B
with the Saab engine in
I got a message from a guy
shortly course
that was quite a fast car
in
you know 300 horsepower
or whatever
oh it's essentially a tin can
the guy messaged me and said
please put a cage in that
and I was like
you don't need a cage in that
and he said
no no
I had a crash
not even that bad of a crash
in a Corsa B
and now I'm like
disabled from the waist down
and stuff
like basically in a crash
a car like that just
it just turns into
it just crumples
yeah
please you are the crumples zone
please do watch out
as much as we love these
70s, 80s, 90s cars
even 2000s
they are not built
like new cars
especially with how much
new cars weigh
even this
this A4
take an A4 from
the early 2000s
it's going to be
the early 2000s maybe
you see like the A-pillars
and B-pillars on cars
on an older car
you go
Jesus
just pair of matchsticks
holding up the roof
if you take something like this
new A4
going into something old
the new car will win
it always will win
so be careful
Ben do we have a forum to end?
I have a forum
just here on my phone
it's
on YouTube
from
economic
crisis
I'm so sorry
economic crisis
I can't
what that sounds like
yeah but it's spelt
doesn't say that
anyway probably is that
yeah
formal question
what do you think of cars
in cities
should they be more car centric
like American cities
or do you prefer
like walking centric
like European cities
now this is interesting
before you answer
because
these two love cars
but I also know that
you guys like something
that's nice
you both like houses
that have a bit of character
and are big fan of new builds
I do
think
it depends on the
well most cities
they have too many cars
in any way
for the most part
which means they are
an absolute dog
to drive in
even if you did want to
drive in them
so
I don't think more cars
in cities
is a good thing
I think
like take
take somewhere
like the Amalfi Coast
or like
what's the one in
Greece
or why
Santorini
take Santorini
level it
multi-storey car park
done
yeah it's lovely
skid pad
it's just a big skid pad
I think they'd love it
I think the locals would love it
you'd get everyone in
no one would have to be
waiting for buses
or taxis
no
I think there are places
where cars don't belong
they're like that
take
go to like
Ben
I was about to say
you and I went to New York
not true
you and I have each
been to New York
on separate occasions
there are lovely parts
of that
which I drove to
which
car wasn't good for
and I would love
to be able to walk
through the streets
with no worry event
there being a car
there being
some clown tourist
driving on the wrong side
of the road
at 50 mile an hour
that'd be lovely
but then equally
there are places where
I don't want to walk around
do you want to get in the car
and move
like right now
we're driving through
we're basically going through
the centre of Paris
and our ETA
is ticking up
and up and up
that's not fun
then
if I'm going through London
unless it's night time
on like a weekend
I'll just get a train
London
London
that's a great point
I think it's a great one
it's amazing to
well
whenever I want to
actually drive into London
there's like a sort of
tourist thing
go ultra late at night
it's great
if you have a car
a modified
whatever any car
and you want to go through London
go like super late at night
on a weekday or whatever
where it's super late
it will still
you will still be stunned
at how some roads
could be absolutely gridlocked
at 11 o'clock
midnight 1 a.m
but still
being able to drive
around all those tourist bits
where everything's lit up
but not after waiting
loads of traffic
but it's yeah
it's just not really great
for driving
which always confuses me
when you have people
with super cars
and whatever else
and they purely keep them
in London
they never stretch
their legs outside of that
that's always kind of
bizarre to me
I mean we've done it
we've gone into London
a few times to do
like late night photography
and that
that's fun
but
driving into London
on a Saturday afternoon
don't do that
yeah
maybe it does ruin
some of it
but
cars is almost like
part of the London thing
I guess some London people might
counter that
that they could be a bit antisocial
a bit annoying
but
just going to London
and you're seeing all the sites
in the shops and whatever
blah blah blah
all those stuff
people want to see in London
then you've got
a Contache parked up somewhere
or
a mad coloured M5
or whatever
that's kind of
what I like about London
but
yeah
I don't think
more cars in cities
is a good idea
no
Ben
now I like
I was
I don't know
the texture
I quite like it
for practicality
but I just feel sad
it's just concrete everywhere
and long
I don't think it's functional
for a city to be car centric
well that's what I mean
a lot of
a lot of American cities are
very obviously
there's not very walkable
yeah
and I don't like that
I'll be honest with you
I like a city that has a little bit
of character to it
but equally
if I've got to just
get from A to B
I want like right now
for example
I'd rather just have
a freeway man
how about
freeway
shaft to go
the garl of a guy
that's not where we're going right now
but no
I prefer
I like a bit of character
but it depends
it's just simply
sausages
simply sausage Dyington
and that's the place that is car centric
well
you know what
I forgot the question
was there something else in that
it's like Milton Keynes
like do you want to live in Milton Keynes
no
I don't think that's the same
yeah but that's built like
an American city
it's got blocks
okay so we're talking about
like edge cities in general
we're talking about
do you prefer
of course cars yeah
I prefer being rural anyway
I like a quietness
there is something nice
about not having to
drive to everything
if you know what I mean
yeah that's yeah
having to get in the car
I'm going right
I need to go and get milk
I have a 35 minute trek
please wait for me
while I get milk
I'll be back in an hour
is not very pleasant
but
there is a
having car as your transport
rather than going
I'll need a taxi
or a train
or whatever is better
but I also mean for
the enthusiastic point of view
because you know
if it was a big open wide city road
and it was quiet
at night you could have a bit of fun
but do you prefer that
or do you prefer a little bit
I'd be legal though wouldn't it Ben
you can't be doing that
that's how quickly you're going
you could be going very slowly
that would be very fun then wouldn't it
it depends on what your idea of fun is
got you
right so I think that's
I'll answer that question
we are running low
on some forum questions
so please do feel free to
stick your forums
where are we
no
please put them in the comments
both on Spotify
if you're listening on Spotify
and there are comment sections there
and on the YouTube channel
so chuck one in there
and then let's find
a very quick fire
end of a one
on the one of the week
I'm going to have to think
so someone go first
I
want a range of a class
language quite with
oh there it is
no do you want a grey one
no
no I don't
I want a black one
the
I would like
a clear 197
I like them forever
and I would like one as like
a cheap
beta winner at
win around
winter run around
if it's possible
because that would just be cool
cool to run around in
or twingo
twingo one one one three three
one of my favourite cars on earth
Benjamin
I just don't know
what I want
you know what you want
I quite like a
a mark 7.5
Golf GTI
okay
so that's a clean one
I thought that's a great car
what would you
what would you be
what kind of
Golf GTI person would you be
would you be sort of
do options
good value lease person
he's got the lease
good value
but he's got a well to do job
he's 30
he's like you
multiple kids like you
millions in the bank
like you
okay
and he just sort of uses it
as is
the GTI
it's my Swiss army knife too
it really
it just does everything doesn't it
he's not
like stage one map
he's like
never heard of it
why would I need to fold out a map
to look at this car
yeah it's got
D-Cat
I have a dog
I don't understand
is that you
or are you more
this is mark 7.5
yeah
we've just got the Golf R wheels
and then also got some aftermarket wheels
from a drag racing
and then I'm going to
put a wicked map on it
and pop some bangs
and maybe a Dazza
I mean what do you think
I think you're the
I think you're a mixture of
I think you might be somewhere in the middle there
I think you'd like to be
nearer the first one
but we'd possibly push you to the second
push me you would wait to the second
we'd go
you've got to stand the springs
like surely
surely a D-Cat would be
look you can get the Pretorias on that
it looks great
but DSG
DSG farts
three door please
we can allow DSG farts
you're like
no I want a DSG
and I would have it all subtle
but it's just you know
if you need to get out of the way
of someone
off you go
you need to get out of their way
they've been looking at dogs
I think you can do that in most cars
fairly easily
because he's had past issues
with getting out of the way
of people
that's good isn't it
you're going to flash those blights at me
or I'll have to get out of the way
alright I'll be a bit quicker next time
that's a good one to accept
and see myself up there isn't it
go on then will you tell me
what your dream car of the week is
dream car of the week
what are the week
I think the silence in the CL
has had me
sounds like an album
the silence in the CL
has had me lingering around
auto trader and other some suches
RS4s have been looked at
advanced
because I just
B7
B7 RS4
wing back seats
one of those
sat just scrumptiously
really does tickle my beckle
and nothing actually
funny enough is also clear
I feel
my McGann
which is coming back very soon
for the sixth week in a row
he's coming back soon
I do own him again
surely maybe
I saw that car in June
it was great
that's
Clio 200
or what preferably a 197
but specifically a liquid yellow one
it's the best colour
I would like to be
I would like to be back in a Clio
2026 will be the year
of being back in a Clio
okay interesting
because then it'll be like
three or four years straight
of being in a Clio
I bet
I mean I'm willing to make that
okay and what is the bet
I've got all year to buy a Clio
is it for an official L
or is it for
I will do it for four Nando's
four Nando's
what are you doing
no cos I
he doesn't want it now
it's an official L
you can spread them out though
it's an official L
you can spread them
how about an official L and a Nando's
one Nando's an official L
here's what I would like
I would like you
to
write me
an apology
oh a letter
I do
it is an apology
it's just an L apology
I want you to write me an apology
yeah that's cool
alright do
that's how it works
and here's my thing
you must own a Clio
don't buy something just to get it over the line
you've got to get a cart you can drive
and it's a cart you like
and it is liquid yellow
I mean it's will
Will's only going to buy a cart once at once
okay liquid yellow
and it must be
stop adding terms and conditions
and also it must be 40,000 pounds
rather than being next year
I want it to be
whilst you're still 31
so you have just under a year
wow bro
we're just finding ways to get
just unbelievable
you are
you're just so crap at gambling
it's unbelievable
okay is that a deal?
just shake my hand
shake the damn hand I have to drive
bend to the dealer
okay I'll take another card
but only if you promise
that you won't get a good one on yours
it's liquid yellow at 31
deal
yes cool
before you become a 32
and then I want an apology
a written hand written
we will frame this
okay I want
and then same for you to me
when you don't buy one
okay I mean yeah
you better get your pen ready
alright I will
I'll start
I'll start dipping it now
right if anybody knows
with a liquid yellow 197 or 200
please get in contact with Will
as long as it's running
just listen to what Ben just said
it's got all of those
let me know
well it's going to buy it
January the 1st
then sell it January the 2nd
just so you can get the
apology
bend and put
no clauses there about
length of
also if any of you
just have one
I can just
have it on the V5 for a while
I'll pay like 20 quid
sounds like
everyone wondering why
Ben is being so specific
it could be the last
10 seconds later
okay so we can
we can really mess him up
by doing this
exactly what I said
can it be a respray
okay I like that
well there we go
I take that deal
there's three once a week
we will see if any of them
come to fruition
thank you very much for
listening to this traffic
heavy episode
of the Cars Rule Everything
Around Me podcast
we'll be back
in our home
next week
maybe with news
of a car
of purchased
if we ever
if we ever make it
we may not make it
to the airport in time
oh well
goodbye see you
goodbye
cream it
