And if we could build a like in like like the show overhaul in or we could build it like the show
You know fixer-upper
Where there's a transformation that happens
The issue is that the travel the time the you know the
This is a pretty niche thing unlike fixer-upper which they can do in one city and just just pick a house
Every month to do
We're gonna have to travel around the country and in order to do that
You know, we need to design the garage from start to finish in order to do that
We're gonna have to we can't show up for a month or two months to build the garage
so
And what you're gonna see in Ernie's garage series, which is very similar to
Jonathan's garage up in up in
Ohio that we did with the red Russo cabinets or
We did
John's garage in Atlanta Fred's garage in California
When we do these garages
We're working with the contractor to get the infrastructure done and lesson learned when we did a manuals garage
We did the electrical we did the lighting it just and that was only a one-car garage
I mean it would to do a big garage with tons of lighting
I mean just lighting alone would take two or two or three weeks to do
and so
The smarter thing to do is to make sure the if we're doing you know tile on the floor
Or to have the floors done if it switch trucks we can do it
But the floor is done have the walls painted have the lights in
Have the blocking done have the infrastructure built and then you're gonna see how we're gonna do this
We'll share it through photos and clips
As we as we talk about how the garage is designed
It you know between you and me it'll look like we did it, but then the team shows up and
And we we managed the project and the goal would be to get to the point to where we have a really efficient setup where we can do
Ernie's garage took us what nine days?
That we can do in three
Because I want to do 40 garages a year
And so in order to do that
And what we're going to share it's at least in the interim for the next sort of year or two
I'm gonna pick
People are gonna pick us, but I'm gonna be looking for people to do full garages now
Lesson learned in doing some of these projects. It's no good. It's no good for me
I don't find it fun if we don't do everything so every drawer
Every cabinet it has to have everything air compressor has to have lift tools
Has to have detailing the whole detailing master collection pressure washing system vacuum
Lighting flooring, you know, everything has to have everything
We can't nickel and diamond skimp because then there's been the video doesn't come out as well
And so the average guy isn't gonna be able to do this because you're gonna have to pay us to come do it
And we're gonna build it as a package
Now my wager is you know to do all of this stuff
Let's say we're doing a garage and there's
$300,000 worth of obsessed garage stuff in the garage and the garage the infrastructure the garage was you know as part of the build the house was
$400,000 or $500,000 so
You know person builds the garage for half million bucks. They buy
$300,000 of stuff from us
And then, you know, we're gonna add up, you know, what's our cost travel? What's our cost to install like labor-wise?
What do we need in other ancillary tools and stuff like that and sort of to appreciate that out?
And let's say that you were as a you know as a wealthy person building this awesome garage
Because anybody spent in you know, $800,000 a million dollars in a garage is pretty well off
Let's say that if you've hired a contractor to do all this finish work all this stuff
It was gonna cost you $60,000 to get it all done and kind of get it done not exactly, right?
Versus having us come out and our costs are
$25,000 to do the whole installation process and to do it better and then they get a video
You know diary of your installation. I think there's gonna be a value prop there if you're if you've done well in life
You're not stupid with your money and you're not gonna overpay for installation
But to you know to include us in the project and share with the you know with all of you share with the world
Is is you know sort of the byproduct, you know like John in Atlanta. You didn't see him
He didn't want to be on camera Fred was fine being on camera. You'll see Ernie was fine being on camera
They're not looking to be on camera
But they you know they want us to come and do the thing to do the project
And they're willing to share with you because the only way that we can come is if we share it
and so this I'm not getting on a plane for a
$50,000 garage just doesn't work. It's not gonna work
And we're not when I have enough stuff to show people how cool it is
so
And I can only do like
You know
We'll probably get to the point where we might do you know 40 a year, but let's say we've only do one a month right now
so
We're gonna find 12 really amazing garages to do
and then
Once we start doing you know 40 or 50 of them a year each garage will be an episode
You know whereas Ernie's garage will probably be four or 56 episodes
We'll start to narrow the episode down to do more and more in an episode
And then what's what you're gonna see is once we get down to let's say two years from now
We're doing a garage a week, you know for and all over the country
And so we have a video a week coming out of a garage transformation
And so each garage will have you know a specific theme a specific episode a specific, you know
Specific or all the garage web us will have a general theme but each garage will have specific elements
And then because we're obsessed garage we need the detail and so
Well, the obsessed garage channel will be the broad appeal and then let's say you wanted to drill down on the pressure washer install
well
Let's say it's Tim's garage. We're doing in Utah
That garage we honed in on the pressure washer the vacuum and flooring and then we do
Sam's garage in in Houston and in that garage we focus on the lift
The cabinets and the drawer organization and so while you're watching the video
You'll be able to scan the QR code and it'll send you over the OG micro channel or the Matt Mormon channel
To to watch the detailed installation of that one thing
But you know what we're looking to do is build the brand
And we're gonna do so by leveraging people who want us to come out and install their garage and want that amazing experience
I'm telling you, you know like Fred we had my guys had such a great experience
They're always talking about Fred and John and they'll be talking about Ernie for a long time
They didn't talk about a manual when didn't we do the giveaway garage talking about Jonathan's garage
So we we talked about the four or five garages. We've done
And so I want to make it we're gonna make an amazing experience for the
Client an amazing experience for the team that goes up and install it and what will happen is
My guess is we'll probably end up leasing or creating some sort of combined lease on a
Plane of some sort because our team is gonna have to be flying around all over the place
And we're gonna have multiple teams and it'll probably be more efficient and less costly
To have a I'm talking about like a like a prop plane, you know
And who knows maybe someday we'll have a jet
But so we can jump on the on the tarmac and Leesburg get to Utah or get to wherever we need to get to
and
And do that efficiently, but that's that's about how I envisioned the business working so
We come out and we do let's say let's say that Sam's garage in Houston is a you know, it's a
3,000 square foot
Single structure, but he built this big barn dominium and then built that you know a garage as part of it
And we're doing all you know a custom green Russo cabinets, and we're doing he's into woodworking
So we do a woodworking room and we do an indoor and outdoor wash bay
And so we would set it up to how much infrastructure can we get done?
So when we show up there, we can do all the fun stuff together with Sam
Rather than having to do you know drywall and and stuff like that
And so we're gonna sort of figure out how to how to execute that so on Ernie's garage
We had you know provided the specs of all the things that needed to be done through design
And then we're going to show you that whole process we went through now
It took two years to get this done from start to finish and in Ernie's time
You know so it was a two-year project
And we did we finished up the last part of it in nine days
And then we can put together a really awesome video series from that and so from a business perspective
That gives us much much more broad appeal so we can hopefully grow the audience and grow the viewership of the of the channel
And then that will then grow people
The you know sort of the army of obsessed and then we'll still have this channel for me to just do my thing
which would be cars houses and
You know detailing, you know stuff that I'm interested in tools
The og micro channel will be the product heaviest product education channel
And then inside the hex will be the business channel where we you know share share the behind the scenes of the business
And then once we get this thing rolling and we're you know, we will find some
We'll find some way to to keep the channel interesting where we I don't know
We pick some veteran who loves cars and has a really a nice
Oversized to car garage and we bring the sponsors in or we pay for it. We come out and outfit is garage
We go and do something completely different and we go and I don't know revamp a
Detailing studio or something like that
And so those those will be after we you know kind of check most of the boxes of most of the options that are out there
And so I'm really excited for this and my friend
So this is why I retained my friend to varnish and you've seen me kind of fumbling around on the og channel to figure out how to
make a and a

We're you know, we're gonna do this with the garage
And so I've hired another person
For the team for the media team, so I've Wyatt
Alexis and Daniel and then we'll we'll hire people to add to Mike's team in the future
And and I have a pretty good idea of how this is gonna work
We had a really good success on Ernie's garage
And so we're doing John's garage next
We're doing
Teresa's garage. So these will be John's and Teresa's are not, you know, 300,000 our garages
But then we'd be you know looking for more to do
So, you know just just this year like if you're doing a 50,000 our garage
It's gonna cost 10 G's just to get us out there just then travel, you know, maybe not that much
But it's 5000 dollars in travel and you don't have the funds and you don't have the margin to do that
And and then you got to pay Mike's, you know, we got to pay for all our labor costs
And you got to pay for food and all that kind of stuff
And so again, we're gonna build this into a package where it's not ridiculous
It's not a waste and I think net net would cost less than you hiring a contractor and net net
You're getting a much much better experience. So that's what we're gonna build out

You should throw away your towels or move them to like oil cleanup duty after
Coating and so it sounds like you'd reuse the towels from coating which scratch the paint or scratch the surface
Which means you're gonna have to polish the car
So you have to polish it remove the coating and recode it and then after you recode it throw away those towels

But if you're doing a flat, you know drywall ceiling
You know, you firstly you make sure that you use flat paint and then you have to spray it and backroll it
And even then you're still going to see a bunch of imperfections. So I don't like seeing imperfections
I don't like seeing that's why I don't like epoxy
Especially if you do epoxy without the the chip systems
Because then you see all the imperfections in your floor and imperfections in the finish
So I'm a white a flat white ceiling guy in a regular garage

Most almost every one of the current
Waterless washes and I forget what he said the chemical process was
But think about like o and r or mckay's or something like that
What they what they're designed to do is encapsulate dirt, but they're also designed to release dirt
Uh-huh, and so and so what happens is it it basically makes the dirt heavier
So if you if you have a you know if you have the product on the surface if you're thinking about a you know water on the surface
and um what tends to happen is that the dirt is is is truly encapsulated but it it
It the the dirt the tendency of the dirt is to fall to the bottom of the solution
And when it falls to the bottom of the solution it tends to collect into larger particles
So it tends to attract the dirt tends to positively charge or attach attract to itself
So tiny little particles tend to to become larger particles
And then those larger particles fall to the bottom of the surface which would put it closer to the um to the paint
Now the advantage is if you're using something
You know a towel or sponge and you put it in the bucket that the dirt will fall to the bottom
And you know that's a selling point in the bucket, but on the
On the surface of the paint you don't want that you want the dirt to repel
And stay in and it's fine of particles as possible and you want it to rise at the surface
possible
So this was Pete's thesis and I think you can prove this under a microscope
And so fat newt will is superior to all these other sort of rinse lists waterless techniques and can be used dry
And it's actually more effective than touch on
Because what it does is it repels the dirt so the dirt stays in fine particles
And tends to rise toward the surface and gets encapsulated. And so it makes white boff less concerning
So, um, it's gonna be pretty sick. Yeah, I thought I thought we had it up there for pre-order, but I guess not
