My nephew came walking into our house the other day and he's like, he's 10.

He's like, it's Liz doesn't even have any comfort.

And like, first of all, you have no idea if I haven't had any comfort.

I don't.

Mom, time all starts now.

I don't know.

I said, don't compare your start to someone else's middle in regards to our studio.

Yeah, you're right.

You're really, really good.

Here we are a few weeks later.

And I'm no longer in my start.

But I'm closer to my middle and it is looking excellent.

And it's day one or it's one day, baby.

And we did day one.

And here we are.

Your lighting is looking really good.

Yeah, no, it's professional.

It's professional grade.

Shout out to the craftsman construction lights.

Could now you have two shining in your space?

One here, one behind.

And then I ordered these things off Amazon that are going to make blue lights go up my

curtain.

Some more interest, I think, just to kind of warm it up a bit.

No, I'm thrilled.

And we're just going on our iPhones.

Imagine if I had a camera there.

That's going to be step two.

I'm going to get a camera.

And then it's over.

Yeah.

You know, when we had Merrick on the podcast, we're all virtual.

So she just appeared on our app and she's like, oh, where is this studio that you girls

record in?

And we were like, we don't have one.

It's a cold studio.

It's a, it's a, it's a foodio.

And I'm thrilled with how our foodio is looking.

It's coming along and, and I appreciate everyone bearing with us and the clips.

I'm enjoying clipping.

I think it's fun.

I enjoy a clip too.

I don't know if we'll ever like put the full podcast on YouTube, but I mean, less like

a lot of you guys want that, but it is giving extra steps.

So if it's like huge demand, we'll consider it, but I think it's just like fun to at least

have a little bit of context.

We told you we weren't going to leave you this black Friday.

You're coming off your Thanksgiving, which I hope was everything and more.

I hope you enjoyed it.

Hope you had lots of turkey, lots of pie.

I hope the Lions won because I'm listening to this or recording this the day before Thanksgiving.

So I don't know what who I will be on Friday.

But yeah, we wanted to get this episode out.

We have been transacting.

So we're going to do last three transactions.

We're going to catch up.

I actually have a lot of industry news that we just didn't have time to get to on Wednesday's

episode because we had America as a guest.

But there's like some crazy things that were happening at the LA Auto Show.

So that's something to talk about.

And dancing with the stars, we are dancing with the stars recap.

So just like kind of buckle up for just like, it's a bit of an all over the place episode,

but it's an episode nonetheless.

And yeah.

Okay.

Well, I just want to get started with something that I have been like wanting to talk to you

about.

Okay.

I didn't even talk to you about this offline.

Yeah.

But I think I just went over our agenda, but sure, let's throw a wrench in it.

I, well, if this feels like general like banter, I joined a new gym recently.

I joined a new one because the one I was going to is too far away from my house, and

I just wasn't going.

So this new one opened up.

It's like five minutes from my house.

Perfect.

Let's do it.

And it's affordable, but it's, it is like a bare bones gym, like there's no childcare.

There's one shower in the locker room.

And it's kind of like a powerlifting gym.

A lot of meat heads, you know, a lot of those, those types, which I actually prefer those

types of gyms because I do find versus like, like a planet fitness or like a general,

like gym like that because I have found when I would work out at places like planet fitness,

I would get a lot more creepy stairs.

A powerlifter's gym, there are no one's looking at you.

They are all looking at themselves in the mirror.

So I do like that, but there are some things with a powerlifting gym that you kind of have

to look past.

So I'm going to run a couple scenarios by you.

And I just want to see like on a scale of one to 10, one being doesn't bother me at all,

10 being canceled my membership, how, how, how willing you would be to put up with these

things that you get in a powerlifting type gym.

Okay.

So.

Okay.

Number one.

I don't know what a powerlifting gym is.

It's not.

It's not CrossFit.

No, it's not.

It's a regular gym, but like there's a small cardio section.

It's for just like the really intense like fitness billers or bodybuilders.

That's more what I'm looking for bodybuilders.

Sure.

Like anyone can join obviously, but they're you walk in and like, you know, you know, the type

of place.

It attracts a certain type.

So number one.

Where do you land on people filming themselves carrying the tripod with them filming every

part of their workout, sometimes bringing a light and shining it on them?

Where do you think I land on that?

I think you're going to appreciate.

I appreciate the hustle.

Yeah.

It's not as easy as it looks.

No, it's not as easy as.

Yeah.

It's totally good.

I mean, I've done it in target.

I've done it at I've done it in insane places.

I've brought my tripod in light.

So yeah, I have no.

I didn't think that one would bother you very much.

Only reason it slightly bothers me is because I'm like, okay, well, I have to get to that

weight.

And I don't know if I'm going to walk into your shot.

And I'm not trying to ruin your shot, but also like it's public space.

I think you should be as respectful as you can.

And I am.

Yeah.

I'm fine.

Okay.

Number two.

Grunting, moaning, borderline screaming.

You are lifting and then you like release it.

And then it like the the weights fall and you're like, ah.

And moaning.

Yeah.

That one's tough.

That one is tough.

I feel like if it got bad enough, I would leave mid workout.

I don't like that.

Okay.

So scale of one to ten.

Like one doesn't bother me.

Ten.

I'm quitting this jump.

I'll give it a six.

It's definitely more than five.

Okay.

It's the kinds of mones and grunts I'm thinking of.

I just don't know that in my life.

And it is.

It's startling.

Yeah.

Um.

All of these things, mind you, happen every single time, every single time I go to this

gym.

Okay.

Men working out without a shirt on.

Tarps off.

Um.

Well, this is your pretty mean awkward position.

I don't.

I'm okay with it.

That's fine.

I wouldn't leave the gym.

To me, it's giving swimming pool.

Yeah.

Sure.

And if it's a power lifting gym, I'd imagine, I mean, it's.

I would imagine it's not the worst, the worst thing to see.

Yeah.

I do feel uncomfortable, though.

Sometimes if I accidentally like look in their direction, I don't want them to think

that I'm looking at them.

So then I, I'm feeling like kind of uncomfortable.

Um.

No, it does.

Actually, I'm going to take it back because it does feel like no shoes, no shirt, no

service.

Yeah.

Right.

If I actually go back to just like basic decency, it does feel like you should keep

your shirt on.

Well, put a, put a tank on.

Like if you're so sweating so much, like you can't stand to have a shirt on, like put

a tank top on.

Yeah.

I, I'm going to, I'm going to come back on.

Now, what I don't like is one time, I've been to a gym, I don't like when they take their

shoes off.

That's crazy.

Well, so that was going to be my last one is a lot of times people will like walk around

in like crocs or slippers.

And then when they're doing certain workouts, they like click their, click, click, kick their

slippers off and do a move with just socks on.

Okay.

If they have socks, I'm okay.

Okay.

I'm not seeing bare feet.

I haven't seen bare feet.

Yeah.

If you're seeing toes, you need to get out of there.

If you're seeing toes, you've got a bounce.

No, I think you should look for a new job.

A new gym.

If you want my honest opinion, I don't think, right?

It doesn't sound like it sounds like a super average experience.

It sounds like if you lived in a small town and that was your gym, you deal with it.

It's not worth not working out, but you have, you live in a great populated area with plenty

of gyms.

I'd be lucky to have you.

No, you would think there aren't many gyms in my vicinity.

There aren't as many as you would think.

And this one's literally five minutes from my house, so I have no excuse even if it's

just like to go get a 30 minute workout and it's open 24 hours.

So Maddie likes to workout like after everyone's gone to bed.

So I just, again, stuck there, but I just was like, I was just curious like your opinions

on it.

It just like cracks me up every single time I go and it's just like, the videotaping,

I'm fine with whatever, I respect the hustle.

That's the tarps off that like really, yeah, this is me off.

Yeah, I know the more I've thought about that, I really regret what I said.

Like, also, it's if they're doing any of these things in combination because like if

the shirt's off and you're grunting, I'm sorry, this is the not safer work.

Like then simply like, you've got to get out of there.

Oh, and you can bet your bottom dollar if the tarp is off, the camera is on.

Right.

So then it's a triple threat.

So then they're filming themselves, grunting, and churlis.

And I don't think you need to be associated with those kinds of people.

Because that's a whole other thing.

Totally.

I, there is this one guy who was filming with a, like a legitimate camera.

I was almost like, hey, I kind of need to know what camera this is because like we're

trying to up our podcast recording on one side of the gym, his light on the other.

This is probably like a 20 feet, 20 foot span.

Like he's taking up a lot of real estate to film himself in this one level

section.

And I'm like trying to like sneak behind his camera.

But the guy's 20 feet away from me.

And I'm trying to respect his camera, but like, you're kind of taking up too much real

estate.

I don't know what this is kind of crazy.

I don't think, I think I think you're going to find a new gym.

I'm not going to.

Well, I worked out in my basement today.

It was so funny.

I was listening to our podcast on Wednesday about how I was like feeling so much better.

And then yesterday, I would have had like the worst, I had like such a, I had a horrible

day mentally, cortisol, uh huh.

Like worse, like worse spike, I've had, uh, so that was humbling.

Then to listen back to like, I'm fine.

I'm getting better than the next day was not fine.

Um, but today I am fine.

So it's just so fun and exhausting.

You know what I mean?

Mm-hmm.

But I will say it's, I appreciate that people have reached out, tell me they've gone

through similar things.

People are happy that I've opened up about it.

I guess I just like, I don't feel, I'm not one to be, I don't want to be this like mental

health advocate because I don't think I have that experience.

Um, so that's why I think I was like hesitant to talk about it.

But oh, and then I got a hate mess, a couple of hate messages for getting someone to decorate

my Christmas tree.

I'm going to talk about that for a second.

Yeah, let's do it.

Okay, I think I said something podcast last year.

I don't like to decorate my Christmas tree.

I don't like to wrap presents.

And first of all, call me the Grinter Soul Christmas, call me whatever you want.

I'm a great mom.

I love to do fun things with my kids.

I don't like to do those things with my kids.

So I was like, I'm going to outsource those things.

We had a whole summer, it's a whole series, side hustle summer of moms who are good at

things, who are looking to make little extra money, do something that they love and help

out other moms.

And I'm like, I'm going to do this this year.

Like this, I don't even like to call like giving back because I paid them for their

work.

But I was like, I'm going to do this because these are areas of my life.

I could, I don't want to do them and I have the means to outsource them so that I'm

going to do.

And the comment I reposted was like the nicer of the comments that I got people for dragging

me, not people, like a four, like sending me like crazy messages and I'm like, okay,

I'm sorry that like you, like I don't know if it was other like, I don't know.

I thought it was just, I don't even want to get into it.

I guess I don't even know why I brought it up.

But just all to say like, God is great, beer is good and people are crazy.

And that's what I'm going to say.

Here her message was, you couldn't decorate your own Christmas tree.

And let me tell you based off of how gorgeous, drop dead, gorgeous your Christmas tree.

Like, I can tell everyone firsthand, no, Kelly could not have decorated her own Christmas

tree like that.

No.

It was gorgeous.

You paid her for her services.

This wasn't like a, I do it for free and for a shout out.

She was so grateful for the shout out, like I was, whatever, girls running a business

guys.

Yeah.

That was kind of crazy.

Um, I don't know where I was going with that.

Oh, I just just know this about me.

Like if you ever do send me a hate message, I, I'm sorry, I won't see it because I don't,

I don't really read a lot of my DMs as much as I used to anymore.

But one thing about me is I will respond back with the voice memo.

So just know you will get a voice memo from me.

And I expect a voice memo back, but like you're going to hear my voice and then I want

you to read your message to me with your voice.

Mm hmm.

It's intimidating.

So this girl who sent me the message, I looked up at our previous messages and like I'd

never seen them before.

Every message she sent me was like something mean.

So I sent her a voice memo and I'm like, Hey, I think maybe you should unfollow me.

Like I, I'm not going to block you, but I don't think I'm bringing joy to your life.

You seem really triggered and upset by a lot of things that I'm posting.

I think it might be better for you if you went ahead and unfollowed me.

Saw the message, listened to the voice memo, didn't, didn't unfollowed me, didn't respond.

That's honestly so much of you.

Yeah.

So I will send a voice memo and also I'm, I, you know, that message wasn't that mean.

So I wouldn't, I wouldn't like post that.

But you best believe if I ever get a message and if it comes across my desk and I'm in

a mood and it's mean and it's attacking and it's bullying.

You will get screen shot and I will not block out your name.

I'm not living in this world.

I'm not even tag you.

I'm not living on up to your words.

The lack of accountability that people have online.

It's so not okay.

And I'm not going to be part of that, I'm not going to be part of that narrative.

I think where people should do that.

Like I think you should let people see like, say it with your chest.

Like if you wouldn't, like if you wouldn't say it to my, like, okay, so just proceed with caution

just so you know.

And I will be cordial in my voice, mammal and you can voice me on my back and you can explain

your positioning and we can have a delightful conversation because I think we would probably

agree on a lot.

Here's a thing with Black Friday.

I, for the first time in feeling like I'm actually getting all my Christmas shopping done

on Black Friday, I feel like we see so many, like we see like prime, like prime sometimes

as deals, but like the deals are dealing this Black Friday.

Like I'm getting everything cheaper.

Did you see Nugget is coming out with a discount?

I saw this in the carpool phase, so Pedro shook to my core.

Shook to my core.

Never has a discount.

It's like, and here's kind of my problem with these things.

I want some of these sales to happen, not on Black Friday, because like my budget's

kind of spent on gifts, and then there's things that I would have liked to have bought

for myself, but like I cannot do that, because it's like I just bought all these gifts instead.

But I will say I'm here for Cyber Week.

I'm here for the whole week.

I feel like I'm taking my time.

I'm cuddling up with a cup of coffee on the couch in the mornings or in the evenings

with some tea, maybe a glass of wine, and I'm just like taking my time sifting through

the deals and the sales.

I'm having fun with it.

So let's talk about some of our recent transactions.

So now it's time for last year's transactions where you share our recent basic thoughts

of fractions.

I'll kick it off.

So I, first of all, I had an anthropology code, which was like so exciting to have like

my name and anthropology's name in the same sentence.

Yeah.

Like, that was really fun.

I think it's probably because in front of Merrick, I think she would be like hooked

that up for me, because you know, they've never wanted to work with me and then all of

a sudden I'm getting another 30% off discount code like, okay, friends in high places.

And I didn't realize, I didn't need any clothes, but I wanted to buy some gifts.

And I didn't know that my code worked on their home section too.

So like someone texted me or message me that they got 30% off a console table with my

code, which I was like, that's so awesome.

Wow.

That's huge.

I know.

So I got some capri blue candles from anthropology because I think that a nice can

was one of the best gifts to give.

And I know it's like, I think a candle is a kind of overrated, I think, a nice candle,

especially if they're a candle person.

It's something that you would never buy for yourself.

And between the anthropology, capri candles and the hotel lobby candles, also spoiler alert

if you're on the car mom team.

That might be one of your gifts.

You're just like slowly going to reveal everything.

I'm going to have to do an unboxing.

I know.

Well, I was also thinking, I told this to Maddie.

She's made it to an order like two extra of everything.

And then I think I'm going to do a giveaway of like, oh, that's fine.

Yeah.

Or I'm just going to like go randomly to like my DMs or like my comments because like,

I kind of see the same names.

A lot of like people have supported me throughout the years.

And it's just like randomly surprised to have you with like, you're on the team because

you're on the team.

You know what I mean?

Yeah.

I do love that.

Anyway, capri candles and hotel lobby candles galore, both on sale.

Oh, the hotel lobby ones are.

I love those.

Um, okay, something that I snagged on also on sale, Stanley was having a sale and you

know I love the 40 ounce ice flows.

Yeah.

They were 50% off, so they were $22.

Only in certain colors, but they weren't bad colors like they were still cute colors.

So I bought three of them for different Christmas gifts.

Yeah.

I miss that.

Darn.

I think I'm still probably going on.

Okay.

Maybe I'll look.

Um, I also placed a pretty hefty, well, kids clothing order.

Now ever since I have had two and two, so I have two boys, two girls, boy girl, boy girl

is my order.

And it's kind of made me realize as I've like been taking, as I bring George's old clothes

up for Fred and had his old clothes up for Libby, I'm really paying tendons like the clothes

that I saved and the clothes that I like will actually put that child in.

And something just don't stand the test of time after like washing a million times, but

you put it in storage for a couple of years, it's just like, okay, like, I'm not, she's

nowhere in this.

Like, this was gross.

Um, and I don't like to have too many kids clothes.

I do, I do a lot of laundry.

We do laundry almost.

I used to do like laundry once a week.

Now we're doing laundry like every day that's just kind of been like my new system.

I probably need to like update my life on, but I'll do that in their day.

So anyway, all the things like my kids don't need thousands of hundreds of pieces of clothes.

So I've really started to find like the brands that I really like, the hundred percent

cotton shirts, one we need that for Fred's ex somehow.

So it's just like if Fred's doing it, I kind of all like us to do it.

And I'm just trying to like kind of slow down to be a little bit more mindful about their

clothes.

Anyway, T collection, I'm obsessed with their clothes.

They are so cute.

They're black Friday sale is amazing.

Like shirts are $10, pants are $15, dresses are $20 and like they're like heirloom quality

stuff.

They're very cute prints without being too cute.

Like they're George, they're realistic.

Like George loves the shirt.

How do you love the dresses?

So I placed a big T collection home and I'm, I couldn't believe how good the sale was.

You, I know.

I feel that way a lot about a lot of these sales.

I'm just like, OK, well, it's, it's a lot to be spent right now, but like I've have bought

so many of these things at full price at one point in my life that I've like, I know it's,

I know it's, I know a good deal when you see it.

Um, yeah, something I recently bought Christmas gift related.

So Matty's, on Matty's side, we have like some nieces and nephews that are like eight

and tens years old is kind of their range.

And they spent the girls have always thought that I was like cool because I was like younger

and like I was Matty's girlfriend and whatever they think I'm cool.

And so now I want nothing more to be cool in their eyes.

Like it is so important to me last year for Christmas.

I got them this like, it was like a little kids skin care because like they're at this

age, like all they want to do is be like 18.

So like instead of toys and stuff, they wanted like skin care.

So I got them this like kids non toxic skin care that's probably really nothing to it,

but it looks really cute.

And then like one of those bubble headbands and like they raved about it.

Like are still talking about how antlers got them skin care.

Um, I, so I was like, what am I going to get them this year because I can't get them

the same thing.

So I ordered the girls.

It's called white fox.

Have you seen it's called a white, it's called the, it's called white box, white fox boutique.

And it's an online store and they have like cute sweatshirts that say like white fox

and they're just like branded and they're like, I think normally they're like a, it's

like a $60 sweatshirt, but they were on sale for like $40.

Okay.

I just think they're going to think that they're like cool girls.

Like my nanny wears this, wears this white fox all the time and she's like 20.

So I knew that like, that's what the girls would want to be.

And I'm really thinking I'm going to hit it out of the park on the white fox, another

brand that they like that, um, their brother had and they were like, so jealous of their

brother sweatshirt.

It's called comfort, CMF RT and you're just like, don't do the vows.

And those are a little bit, um, cheaper than the white fox.

But I was just like, kind of like, is that Scott, is that Scott Disex brand comfort?

I have no idea.

My nephew came walking into our house the other day and he's like, he's 10.

He's like, isn't Liz does anyone have any comfort?

And I'm like, first of all, you have no idea if I have any comfort.

I don't.

But like they're obsessed with these like sweatshirts.

Yes.

His is called talentless.

That's funny.

Oh, yeah, you're right.

You're right.

Same vibe though.

Okay.

Well, good for you.

Okay.

We'll look at you.

Hopefully, hopefully you kill it.

Hopefully they love it.

Hopefully.

I really took a, I really took a risk on the white fox versus just getting the

comfort because I knew they were going to like the comfort.

But I'm trying to make it look like I know something that they don't like.

You're like your cutting edge.

Yeah.

Hopefully some people can weigh in and maybe it's not too late to return them if you're

wrong.

Okay.

Um, okay.

My last transaction is like, I told you guys yesterday I did not have a very good day.

I was just like, really, uh, Cortisoli, I don't want you so word panicky or anxious.

But I guess that was a kind of probably a more accurate description.

Anyways, I decided that I, after all, with not going to be able to make my Cale Seas

or Salad for Thanksgiving.

So I called the restaurant in my town and I said, can you cater a salad for 10 people

when I pick it up today?

And they did.

Okay.

So no delicata squash, so like there's no delicata squash.

There's no homemade Caesar, there's no, it is a good salad.

It's a good how salad from, from, from an average restaurant when, where I live.

And I'm sorry.

It's okay, Kelly.

It's okay.

You have been doing the most for so many years, um, so it's okay.

No one can do it.

And I told mom, I'm like, this is the exception.

This is not the new normal.

Like put this in the notes, I, I want you to write in the notes.

Salad was mid looking forward to Kelly bringing the regular one next year.

Like that's what I want.

Write it.

Write it before we even have it, which doesn't even, anyone's like, this is better.

Like first of all, shut up because it's not, um, but I just, yeah, so that's what was

my last, that was my last transaction.

You and I are in such different phases right now because you are like struggling to get

by and I like couldn't be thriving more.

My last transaction was a sourdough, um, cook, uh, recipe book by Amy Bakes bread.

Amy Bakes breads my favorite sourdough, follow all of her recipes are great, I'm killing

it.

I made her scones.

So I'm bringing homemade scones for Thanksgiving, which like, this is so fun to be, to,

this must be what it feels like to be you because I'm bringing something that's homemade.

That's impressive that people are excited for and I'm never that girl.

Yeah.

I know.

We are in totally, we have switched, we've switched shoes.

So I'm just going to enjoy it.

I'm going to ride my high horse all the way to Thanksgiving, um, well, because, and you

should because what I reminded Elizabeth, and you, if you don't have a sister, you're

going to think this sounds really mean, but like, this is very much her year because

like she's looking down the barrel of like other pregnancies, other postpartum journeys.

Like, this will be the, I mean, this, this is a, this is a, uh, this is a freak accident

off year for me.

So I just, actually, I think, yeah.

Oh, I'm happy that this year, you're having it together and I want you to like, I want

you to ride the high, I will because like next Thanksgiving, next year I'll pick up your

And I'm like, even, I'm such a Robert Stan and like, my kids were so excited.

I told him this morning because like, they love the reptile guy.

They just shouldn't have been on the same season because they are what I'm pissed about.

They are both, they both deserve it.

Like I love Robert winning if I think he deserved it over anyone else except for Alex.

Like I want them to share it.

I cannot believe they said that they both got the most points or the most votes ever.

And it was the closest that it's ever been like that just that's almost worse.

It is just goes to show like if anyone else except for the most likeable man on the planet

Robert Irwin was against her, Alex would have won by a landslide in that stinks.

Yeah.

It stinks.

Okay.

So, but I think I don't know who's to say I wouldn't have been sad if Alex won and then

Robert lost and then like him and Bendy didn't have that together.

Like that.

So I wanted them both to and I would probably would be feeling the same way if she won.

I love that Robert won.

I honestly wouldn't have even have been mad if they just wanted to do some like BS like we've

got for the first time ever.

You're both winners like I would have been happy I would have been happy with that too.

I would have been happy with that.

Overall though the finale my thoughts I don't think we needed five people.

I would have preferred one more week.

I think four would have been a better number because five just felt like a lot.

Yeah.

I do like that they placed everyone like that felt like some good context.

I feel like kind of for the first time ever like I knew where everyone stood.

I guess I agree overall with the scoring.

I am surprised how much Dylan grew on me throughout the season like I was no one hated Dylan

more than me.

Yeah.

And I'm by the end of it.

And I'm like he's really improved like I'm kind of like rooting for him.

I know.

I really like him.

I like him too.

Like I'm like a watch trader.

I don't even know what that is but it just seems like something to watch.

So I liked that.

I thought the instant dances were crazy like I was so my stomach was in knots like I was

so nervous for them because I don't want to see anyone fall like I don't want to see

anyone get tripped up like that.

Oh, that makes me cringe.

But they all did great and that also just goes to show that like when they're learning

these dances like they're not just learning a choreograph routine.

They are learning the technique of the dances and it's amazing.

But it's just like so where do you think about where do they go with these skills from

here?

Like they just spent the last, you know, three months learning a skill where you're going

to do with it.

I know.

Show off at a wedding.

Yeah.

I don't know.

It's got to be kind of sad for them because they're like the pros like this gets to continue

to be the pros life like ballroom dance.

They love it.

It's their life.

Well the stars are just like, okay, well I can do a Samba.

So what?

Does anyone care that I can do a Samba?

And it is interesting because it's like now the pros are like also stars to me.

Oh, I can't wait for next season now that I know all the pros.

I know when I feel like Jenna, like she's a pro who got out so early, who's so good.

Like I'm excited to see, oh, I'm just so thrilled to have this in my life now.

I'll never not watch it probably.

I'm going to miss it so much.

And yeah, I thought it's our dance go that I thought Alex's freestyle was unbelievable

as my favorite freestyle.

It was such a moment.

It was such a performance in ways like the other ones weren't.

I thought Alex was my favorite, my second favorite was Elaine's.

Her is was iconic, iconic.

I loved it.

So cute.

I loved the character.

I loved it.

It was so fun.

I didn't really care for Dylan's I some people were like, it made me cry.

I didn't really, I didn't really feel very connected to Dylan's and I liked Dylan a

lot.

Yeah.

I don't know.

Yeah, I don't really remember that one.

They did something with water.

I didn't love Jordans.

I actually like I rewatch Jordans today and there are parts about it that I really thought

where it was so different than anything else.

I did feel like Ezra was like hardly in it.

So I was like, where's Ezra?

But it's also like about Jordan.

I liked all of it except for when that other girl came into it because then I'm like, who

is this?

Like, why are we doing this?

But other than that, I liked it and I thought Roberts was really cute.

Yeah.

It was a fun show.

I just can't wait to.

And now I feel like it's such like a high brow like, like, I think any star would want

to go do it.

Like I think it's so good for their careers.

Yeah.

So I'm hoping we get like really, really some great a talent.

And honestly, like, it's been going on for so many freaking seasons.

step in my life.

Well, see, here's what I want to do.

I want to rewatch.

There's this season of Dancing with the Stars that I don't know the history as much as other

people.

But it really like changed the way like they did the voting because this man named Bobby

Bones was on it.

Do you know who Bobby Bones is?

Yeah.

Okay.

He was on it and he ended up winning and he was like not a good dancer, like a little better

than Andy, but like was not like Miraball winner worthy.

And there was this other guy named Milo, who was partners with Whitney.

Now, Milo is from the Zombies movie on Disney, which is one of my kids favorite movies.

People like we love Milo and this was that we'll call him by his, his character's name

is Zed.

We love Zed.

It's always coming up Zed around our house and he was on it and he lost to Bobby Bones.

And it was like this crazy thing because like his freestyle is iconic.

Like one of the stars recreated his freestyle during the season.

Yeah.

No, I want to, I want to watch it because I want to see if Bobby Bones was like actually

that likeable that he like should have gotten all of the votes or not because they're

not reason.

It didn't just happen.

Apparently Bobby Bones gave back his trophy.

Oh.

Yeah.

Okay.

I'm going to have to, I got to watch this season.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

So I don't know.

I didn't watch that season.

Anything else to show me one of the industry news where I saw the hat to go on the other

industry?

Let's move on.

I've sent my piece.

First story.

Transportation Department debuts more accurate female crash dummy.

Now you might have seen this like circulating the news sources and what this is is it's

a headline, but it's pretty much a nothing burger and I'm going to explain why.

So right now the female crash dummy that they have is like basically just like a small

version of the male crash test dummy.

So like it's different because like men and women's, men and women's bodies are different.

So it doesn't account for like the physiological differences that happen to women.

So this one is more accurate, it has more technology on it.

So like for example, the pelvis for the female frame is more rounded and does not hold

the seat belt the same way.

So that's why these are important.

It is exciting that they have developed this dummy.

But I want to be really clear.

Like the word developed just means it's there sitting and sitting there.

It doesn't mean it's getting crash tested with and even when it does get crash tested with,

it doesn't mean that it becomes that it doesn't mean that its performance becomes the

new standard or even anything that it's rated on.

So like, yeah, they could like maybe crack, I mean the manufacturers can crash us with

anything that they want, but they're only required to crash us with the current dummy.

So this one's not like a requirement yet.

I'm kind of giving you like the super digestible version and I don't want to say it's a nothing

burger because like it's exciting that this technology is out there, but it's not, they're

not using it.

Yeah.

You know what I mean?

Well, and these dummies cost like hundreds of thousands up to a million dollars.

Like that's so expensive.

So that would also require all of these manufacturers and or like these testing sites to buy multiple

of these mill, you said it was a million dollars, of this million dollar crash dummy.

So yeah, and it is interesting, I don't know.

It's so hard because like I'm not going to say like I don't care, I don't want them

to crash us on female dummies because I do.

But to me, it's like I also just like want the, I want just the cars to continue to improve

their crash ratings and every capacity, you know?

Yeah.

So I'm not saying again.

It doesn't matter.

I do.

But like yes, it's a man.

Like okay, whatever.

But like right now we have like one solid constant and like that constant is still getting

hurt in a lot of cars.

Yeah.

Like there are still many cars that don't pass that have four star ratings, three star

ratings don't, I mean, fail IHS tests.

Yeah.

So it's kind of like why don't we like wire like let's just make those, let's continue

to improve that aspect of it.

So that's just a little one that means it's not that it's not exciting.

Yes, it's exciting.

And I think it would be interesting to know there's just, I don't know, there's, I have

a lot of opinions, I have a lot of opinions on it.

We need to probably like have Jessica Dermakian back on to get her take on it, you know.

This is a crazy story.

You're going to love this story.

So there were some influencers.

Who were these guys?

The content creators under the name middle lane, they're these guys on TikTok.

And they were at the LA Auto Show with their press credentials.

And they went into the new Jeep Recon, which is the $65,000 new Jeep that's come out

that I just like haven't only made a story because like, I don't know, Jeep's always

making overpriced cars.

Just didn't really see that.

Noteworthy.

But anyway, they had a video go viral because they were pulling apart this Jeep Recon

to like show the build quality.

So like they'd be like, look at this trim.

It's like, you look, I can just like rip it off and like they're being, have you seen

the video?

No.

They're being so aggressive with it and they think they're being so funny.

Okay.

Couple of things like one, you can definitely like point it out and question it without

destroying the car.

Like they're destroying the car.

Second, these guys are obviously idiots because it's a pre-production model.

And pre-production models are put together by hand.

Like it's not, it's not, it's a pre-production car.

It's just to show the vibes, the aesthetics.

Like it's not the final car.

Oh my gosh.

Yeah.

It says the actions taken to disassemble the all new Jeep Recon display at the LA Auto Show

were both destructive and unprofessional.

The company says that the pre-production models are assembled by hand and not constructed

in the same fashion.

The consumer ready vehicle will be which goes for sale in 2026.

The vehicle question is a pre-production car, but exclusively with four reveals and events

to highlight the design inspiration for the final product.

Yeah.

I need to find this.

The video of the Recon Ascension has been deleted on YouTube and Instagram, but remained

published on TikTok as of late Tuesday, November 25th.

I don't have TikTok, is it going to show it to me?

Oh, I have a sign-in name.

I went to push back on the claims of destructive content.

As the video clearly shows, the clipings holding certain interior parts together were loose

and the parts were easily, they were just saying they didn't have to try that hard to

pop them out.

Oh, that's like so unfortunate for these guys.

Well, here's the thing, it is unprofessional.

It isn't.

No one's going to invite you to stuff.

And let me be clear.

I push the line all the time.

You drive yours.

I remain professional.

I would never go.

And it was just like so for clicks.

You know what I mean?

Yeah.

You're an idiot.

Yeah.

Because I'm in the final car.

Wow.

Yeah.

That's crazy.

And then my last two little stories are just like some of the other things that happened

from the LA Auto show.

The only things that I think we really care about is that the Kia tell you right is coming

out with a hybrid, which we were expecting to be 35 miles per gallon.

So now I have to tell you right in the pal, the Palisade hybrid is already out.

Uh, yeah.

It's really exciting.

Mm-hmm.

I'm really excited.

I'm a little worried about all GM, like where's our traverse hybrid?

Mm-hmm.

Where are any hybrid?

GM's so on their EV grind.

But like now we've got Toyota Grand Highlander hybrid, Palisade hybrid, Telluride hybrid.

Mm-hmm.

I'm sure I'm missing some.

But this is exciting because I've been saying for years like we just don't have a lot

of good hybrid options or families.

And now they're coming.

Yeah.

And they're coming in a major way.

No, it's so exciting.

And then the Honda Pilot actually got like a mid cycle refresh, which I am actually excited

about the advancements because it really, the, the biggest thing is they finally put

the 12 inch screen in the Honda Pilot because like the craziest thing about the pilot is

it had only a nine inch display, which is wild because in the accord it had the 12 inch

display.

So you're just like, what are you doing here?

Like all the other cars in this class have such big beautiful screens and infotainment

systems.

You couldn't even put like your best one in your biggest car.

Like it was just so it was such a disconnect.

So now the Honda Pilot 26 will have the 12.7 inch just a touchscreen display.

And like really that's for me, I think that's a huge improvement.

It's just so much more competitive.

Like I remember when the pilot was up for the car of the year, we kind of had to knock it

on interior design when we were comparing it to the other cars, like the Traverse.

Because it's like it wasn't even competitive, you know, like yeah.

So now now I think even if like I don't really want it's always going to be better than

the other.

And then I think that gets kind of a little too opinionated and we don't like to make

a lot of our scoring off of like opinions.

But I do think it's easy to look at something and say like, is this in the same class?

And the old pilot technology wise was not in the same class, I'm excited about 26.

Yeah.

And that's industry news.

Pretty juicy.

It's super juicy.

That's I need to go try and make a tick out tick tock account just so I can watch that

video.

It's very much like when you go to the grocery store at 5.30 on a Thursday and like

I hope they have a rotisserie chicken there or your dinner plans are screwed.

That's how I'm feeling.

I'm feeling a little uneasy about the whole thing.

So mom's that she's doing two turkeys, though.

So I'm confident there'll be leftovers, but you know, I need to, I mean, I'm a family

of six.

I need a decent amount.

Yeah.

But I have everything else and I, so I have everything else.

So that's where I am.

I think you should be fine.

Yeah.

I'm hoping to believe.

I'm choosing to believe you'll be fine.

And if you just have to, just have to have tetrazini, then you just have to have tetrazini.

I am making a family favorite and I have always have, or usually have all of the ingredients

with the exception of my ground beef, which I have.

And that is crunch wraps.

My family loves contrast.

They are so easy to make and pack a huge punch.

So I know everyone will be happy.

I know it will be like a nice filling meal and all I have to do is pull ground beef out

of my freezer.
