Our impending demise at the hands of AI is coming fast, so we might as well have a little fun! We’ve signed up for an artificial song making service on John Clay’s dime and our robot friend came back with some BANGERS. We let the class show and tell, but our resident rapper says he doesn’t need any help, he can go hard on his own! Who do you think had the best song?

"...then I literally took a box. He did the flock of seagulls. Did you prompt flock of seagulls version?"
“Seagull” here doesn’t seem to refer to a car. It sounds like the host is talking about a phrase—“Flock of Seagulls”—and using it as a prompt or example.
“Seagull” in this podcast context appears to be a reference to the phrase “Flock of Seagulls,” not a specific car model. It’s likely being used as a playful or shorthand prompt for a sound/phrase rather than discussing an automotive vehicle.
Concept
No sugar coating
"And bold as your ride. A piece of junk or stories to be told. He'll tell you straight up. No sugar coating here."
It means someone is going to be honest and say it plainly. No pretending something is better than it is.
This is a common phrase meaning the host will be blunt and direct rather than softening the message. In car-enthusiast contexts, it often signals an opinionated take on what’s good or bad about vehicles.

The John Clay Wolf Show has appeared on Terrestrial Radio for a really, really, really long time.
So we dug into our pockets, and on the other side of our d**k, we found something funny.
And yes, it's contagious.
Gather round as the wolf pack goes on this throwback adventure.
What's the damn deal is your boy DJ Pre-K with the John Clay Wolf Show up in the archives
and I got something a little more recent for y'all, man.
JD was telling me about this crazy AI service that just pumps out songs like it's nothing.
So of course, we all had to put our own spin on a theme song for the show.
And I can't lie, these clankers drop some heat, but I ain't going out like that.
Check it out.
800-800-7234.
So tell me about this AI thing.
I don't know nothing.
So you're leading this.
You're holding this head.
Michael.
I'm holding this head.
You're screwing this goat.
I'm holding this head.
Well, actually, it's JD's the one that's holding the goat.
I came up with it.
Somebody's screwing this goat.
It's not me.
We have a website that does AI stuff, and I went in and I said, well, what if we did
a show theme song?
Let me try that.
I was just playing around at work because I wasn't buying cars that day.
So I'm like, anyway, I played at work and I literally put the basics in there, put our
names.
I said Saturday morning, coast to coast, radio, show, and I gave them our names.
And this is what it came up with.
Which one is yours?
We'll back.
It's Joe Bubba.
We'll show Bubba.
I guess.
So it's kind of rock, kind of classic rock.
Okay.
Hang on a second.
Wait.
Hold on.
There we go.
Now you can talk.
How long did it take to make that?
Two minutes, three.
That's disgusting.
No.
How perfect it is.
That's just going to ruin the music.
All right.
I'm going to get it, man.
That's why I was playing with it.
So then Bobbo, you did it too, right?
That is crazy, JD.
Three minutes.
Did you do that through ChatGPT or what?
No.
We have a website that does AI stuff.
Like we pay a service?
Yes.
It's not very expensive either.
It's not expensive.
So Bobbo, you did one too, right?
Yeah.
Bobby did one.
Now, how long did it take yours to put together?
About an hour.
Okay.
He worked a lot more.
He gave it a lot more parameters.
Let's hear what his sounds like.
Climb aboard with John Clay and the crew.
Saturday you've got nothing to do.
John Clay's in command and JD's got the news.
We've got crazy characters and Bobbo's back on the booze.
Turley's hard at the wheel and don't you forget pre-K's on the phone.
You don't have to be alone.
We're going to talk about cars and women in a tastefully lowbrow way.
You can't drink all day unless you start first thing in the morning.
It's a Saturday breeze on the rising seas.
The wolf pack cruise is boarding.
Boarding.
Boarding.
Boarding.
That's fun.
All right.
Okay.
So then I literally took a box.
He did the flock of seagulls.
Did you prompt flock of seagulls version?
Steely Dan.
That's what I got.
My prompt was like, I want something sports theme-y.
Okay.
And I just literally just a couple of cues.
Same thing.
It took three minutes and this is what it came out.
From the heart of Texas, a legend takes the mic.
Get ready for a ride.
Nothing quite like it.
JD's got his wings talking planes so high.
Bobbo's got a smirk with a sideways eye.
Turley sports sense always on the money line.
And DJ pre-K dropping beats that shine.
It's the John Clay Wolf Show.
Truth lay bare.
And bold as your ride.
A piece of junk or stories to be told.
He'll tell you straight up.
No sugar coating here.
The accidental Texan vanishing all fear.
Not a hater.
Just a Texan with a point of view.
S*** or Shinola.
He's here for me and you.
The John Clay Wolf Show is on the air.
Buckle up folks if you dare.
There you go.
It's crazy.
Like three minutes.
That took John.
Three minutes.
Did pre-K do one?
Yes.
Pre-K did one too.
I haven't even heard this one.
I haven't heard it either.
But pre-K, did you use AI?
Because you're an artist.
Look man, I don't need no robots doing my job.
I come with straight bangers.
John Clay.
John.
John.
John Clay.
Cut the checks.
John.
John Clay.
John, you know it's gone cash.
Get money.
Come and get your money, call me up, we buying cars for real
800 800 radio, act like you ain't heard of John Clay before
That's that wolf pack coming, don't say, surely hit that button
Cars, trucks, bikes, hey, we buying, is that a bird or a plane?
That's a JD Ryan, and Bobo got a bottle full of laughs and smiles
It's Saturday morning, don't touch that dial
Come and get your money, call me up, we buying cars for real
I can almost hear that as the backing track of like a local TV commercial on 27
Yeah, one of the UHF channels
What is your winner, Bob?
Oh man, I've loved JD's since it came out
We can't vote, you have to vote or have the listeners, was there a poll?
Go to jcdoublemisshow.com and go to our YouTube stream, there's a poll
Currently, Pre-K leads it with 83%
Well that means there's been two votes
No, there's been no more than that
38 votes, so what's your vote?
I love, I mean JD's sounds like we hired some, some Luke Bryan
Yeah
I mean, yours sounds so good as weird
It was so good
I heard it and I was like, I gave it nothing, I gave it our names, the show
It goes and looks it up, it looks up stuff
I know, creepy
Yeah, so like it figures out more about the show than what you would tell it
Totally
And you know with all the lyrics
We started it early
It found a perfect meter to fit all those lyrics in in a rapid fire
That's a crazy thing, yeah
Yeah, that was phenomenal
This is JD's again
I want to do the ACDC one for me
You can, you can ask it
That is so weird, man
Frightening
So you, and you prompted to, I guess, to spit the lyrics out
Cause I only did it once and you just let it go
I gave it no lyrics, I gave it no lyrics
But you, apparently you can go back and say, no, no, I want you to say this and do this
You gave it no lyrics and it got all this
Yeah, yeah, no lyrics
I gave it Saturday morning coast to coast radio and I gave them our names
That was it
Yeah, that's pretty, that's pretty scary
Yeah
I'm impressed, I'm kind of frightened
And I'm the one who's been trying to scare everybody straight
I couldn't believe it, came out that good
