of them are down over and we we qualified for the record we did at both
of them qualified at both of them just barely at the second one I don't know
about just barely we got in I mean on the last but but we didn't just barely
no there's a lot of people we were all the way in we were all the way in but we
barely got to put it all the way that's right so I keep on thinking I keep on
thinking man this year's gonna be about the OG but it's really not it's really
not for the record all eight races that Ryan Carson and I are putting together
outlaw syndicate are there eight or seven well there's gonna be there's gonna
become eight man what a mess so we've had our support Carson man he's had to
change the schedule numerous times I bet he threw his phone when you sent him

Jackson Tennessee is a dragway or raceway either way either way it's a
race it's a racetrack guys and I was pretty excited to go there for a couple
of reasons one was because I've been there one time before in 2020 you know
during COVID back in the pandemic we were out there we were out there being
outlaws yes whenever they told us what is wrong with you that's a Ryan's
burnout car Aiden is literally sending me cars on Facebook marketplace you said
Ryan's looking for a car like that and that's that's it he is let me see that's
Aiden that's 9500 they want a lot of money for you and that's that's not worth
that but anyways I will put this on solid but Ryan's got a lot of money but he
does he does that is true yes yes we did go there in the pandemic and didn't we
blow up at that track no no we blew the small block up at I'm talking the OG

know but like we could have sold it it would have been really cool to go check
out anytime I could go to a museum like that that has a thousand cars dude a

I know where Paduca's at okay then that's I'm not even gonna ask you why you
know where that place is I remember used to have a life it's for the best yeah we
don't want anybody getting upset yeah but yes and he I guess he knows the
owners there and I mean if Marty will vouch for that's what I'm saying hey and I
literally forwarded that straight over to Carson and said the dude that told me
about this place is as solid as it gets yeah I know you probably don't know who
Marty is like Carson's pretty new to drag racing yeah everybody that has been
around drag racing knows who Marty is yes so super super dude super he's the
dude who said no don't change your car man you wait around tell them to kick
that drum over and you wait around let the track come to you yeah like I
remember that like it was first time I ever met him he said no you know and
where were we at at uh probably Alabama yes no all the spring all the springs

the schedule but obviously so the the eight race schedule I thought you know
we were gonna be racing the OG the whole time well turns out me and Ryan are
not gonna race and it looks like I'll be racing the 55 in that deal most of the
time which is fine I like driving the 55 yeah and it's a lot less stress I'll be
able to hang out a lot more with the fans I will be able to cater to the
racers and do stuff like that instead plus think of all the people that can
come out and throttle me in the 530 class you're probably gonna be one
absolutely you're probably gonna be absolutely we can't wait dude hey look
look here we've raced one time the entire time that we've known each other
one time I had my life it was out on I don't even remember
council or my car 55 verse trailblazer no okay so twice I did oh yeah those
were both of mine yeah that doesn't that doesn't count so I had my black tree
didn't treat me though and we were out cruising I came around him though you
did we were out cruising you had shop truck at the time I had my black truck
and I just spent I'll bet I fucked you every dime I had put in a turbo kit on
this truck like built motor hey nice cylinder head yeah and shop truck is a
4.8 with like a 82 jet or something yeah and we were roll racing and then you
just kicked my teeth in mmm so hey man little shots of nitrous and small
displacement motors like that yeah like hey for the record it makes you feel
any better we kicked everybody's teeth in with the trans am oh yeah whatever we
had a car there was hundred thousand dollar cars out there that was up there
that was so much fun going out there on the turnpike allegedly and racing that
bass boat vet that everyone talked about was so bad and they wouldn't even look
at us whenever they said what do you got and I said it's a little you know 408
right here yeah with an automatic yeah oh man it'll be fast you put a six
meter and a little bit of nitrous that's it that's it that's all it had man and
we just tore those guys up they couldn't believe it literally a little bit it
was a hundred shot no more than a hundred you know one oh they'll 108 shot
you had 108 to the tires so it literally only made 600 and I didn't I
understand that whenever you go to things like that normally you lie to people I
told everybody the truth I told I told everything no this is what it's got I
just knew that it was fast yes like we're not some dummies we're just we were
new to roll racing we're not roll racers it was winter time there was no dig
stuff going on and Jayrod had invited us up there Jayrod knew what we were
about oh yeah nobody else really did no then we went up there and literally they
were making me stand in line to race them because I was I was the nobody like
the fastest guy there I don't even think he was the fastest guy there I think they
said he was the second fastest guy there I literally asked him I was like hey man
you you want to you want to go you know you want to roll race man I felt like I
was gonna hold hands I mean same thing yeah and and he was like what do you got
and I told him what I had and then he goes well I'm gonna race this other guy
over here first dude he just he didn't even want to waste his time it wasn't
worth it wasn't worth his time to race me and then I fucked him man it was cool
I remember we were standing on one of the overpasses as y'all went underneath
and you were out of head yeah well the dude wanted to do it again you know he was like hey
man we need to do that again I was okay yeah I'd do it eight more times if you want
yeah well RC bogs 4l 60 was just out there but didn't work yeah everybody was like man imagine
how fast that would be if it had a six-speed and I said that's what I took out uh-huh
you know you had the baddest of the bad six speeds in that deal too
then you you had like a nice really nice built six speed for that deal I don't know anything
about that deal yeah like all I know is that I needed to take that six speed out and put an
automatic in it so that we can race it yeah and then I had four 10 gears in it and they
didn't understand why man a six-speed and why anybody would have four 10 gears in that car
you know and we was on a 2810 five who's your slick yeah well their thing was 60 to 160
yeah I mean the person who gets to 160 the quickest wins that's right that's right it
doesn't matter if I'm doing 140 if I'm just stretching you out I say when we get to 150
if I was in front of you yep but anyways sorry guys sometimes we get off on tangents all around
the world anyways um yeah so there's gonna be lots of people that are gonna be happy with kicking
my teeth in in the 530 class and you know what I'm gonna be happy too I don't care I'm hopefully I
learned to cut a light in a small tire car and I learned how to you know pedal race a little bit
but some of these tracks that we go to the 55 will struggle to go 530s you think so I think so I think
because I have to to depend on leaving so hard with that car well wait a minute I thought we
were prepping these deals oh no yeah it's not gonna be no prep oh okay but I just need a little prep
no I'm just saying that sometimes in the heat you know oh I got you know like yeah go out there

in it and the every intention of driving it right and which I can still do so you know for the dragon

difference of opinion on the dragon drive stuff so man did you see how I teach you I did you just
you set them up and I'm are we are we done talking about we are I mean we don't we don't need to be
we've got but we you know okay we thought we were racing the og we're not racing the og up we're
racing the og but not as much as we thought yes well that's just in one of the three series

and man I just do not care about dragon I I do not I'm not gonna go out of my way to go do dragon
drives I don't I would I think like obviously if we got one weekend off yeah I'm not gonna go do a
dragon drive yeah you know but I would do it it just kind of depends on in what and look I'm not

don't understand about the dragon drives and like but there's reasons that I just don't want to do
dragon drives period and I'm gonna explain why why do I have such feelings so whenever I first
started racing like I coming down when I met you guys I'd come down here it was two hours one way
to come down here and race and you drove your truck I drove my truck if I broke my truck I had to fix
it so I could get to work on Monday yep so like the first four or five years of my racing career
whatever you want to call it was a dragon drive yeah and now thinking about it that just doesn't
enter like thinking about my only means of transportation breaking down and me having to
fix it so that I can get to some other test and tune it just what that would be that's all it is
is a giant test and tune man and like I it just doesn't make sense to me and I'm not I'm not talking
shit about the people who do it I can respect the amount of work that goes into it what you guys
are doing out there is cool is a lot of work it's a ton of work dude and it's not I don't know man
I've gotten spoiled by our race trailers like they're every tool that I need is in there usually
most of the time or or or I can walk to the pit next door and borrow it yep when you're out there
you've got what you thought to pack in whatever toolbox or whatever little trailer or whatever
like people get the wrong idea that dragon drives are for budget minded people and they're not
dude those those like those guys that are going out there and doing it I bet they spend every bit
as much in that weekend as we do racing a pro mod yeah and damn and man they I mean just to get
their setups yeah I mean a lot of people have very nice trailers and then they gotta do a ton of
work to them trailers to get them all so you see the big tires hanging off the back like they're
just put on the wall like they're in a a stacker you know and it is it's a lot of work man and
if if and I don't I don't mind a lot of work like I truly don't but if I'm going to put in a lot of
work it's gotta be some like I don't I get that there's an award at the end if you if you make it
and you finish some shit but yeah I don't know man it just seems like a giant test in tune that's
what it is four or five different tracks throughout the week and man I just I can't make myself get
excited to go out and do that that's what it is it's a giant test in tune and you see a whole lot
of turbos you know why yeah because they run up and down the road really well you don't have to
worry you don't have to put up with your bullshit at a test in tune session you don't have to put
up with your bullshit with a turbo car you go up there you can watch the guy in the lane next to
you take off leave you can sit there whenever you're good and ready yeah you can spool up you
don't have to worry about anybody hanging you out you don't have to worry about uh I mean you
don't have to worry about racing your car you just go out there and you make a pass you race for
a time slip that's all you do and then you turn it in and I understand why some people do it you
know lots of people man that's the one thing that's the that's their vacation god and it's just a lot
forward to that and it is their vacation dude it gives me anxiety to sit here and think about
having to fix even like my truck or the 55 on the side of the road just to make it to the next
track like I just got that just does not yeah because if we took the 55 I'm not taking any tools
yeah I'm not taking any tools so then when that thing breaks down we're just stuck on the side of
the road yes yes I can't do it man I just not I'm not taking anything to swap tires out because
I am racing on the tire that I am on see and I just can't do that because I know
I know how it goes on those tires they don't last long when you drive them like you know what you
know why I know that because you drove because I've done it yeah drive so so you're gonna spend all
this money to buy new tires and make sure you got the best stuff that can make this drive
you're gonna make it to two or three tracks and then your tires are gonna wear out and then you're
just gonna have shit runs for the next two or three days because yeah but I'm also making one
pass per track yeah I say that you know what I mean until I go out there and swap the tire one
pass and then I gotta come back around it again but there there's also a difference in something
like the 55 versus somebody that's out there to prove that they're the fastest yeah like I think
I would use that as a not really a vacation you know what I mean but if it's just something cool
to go do if if you could if you could keep the whole vacation aspect in frame well you can until
you break or that goes right out the window or and not even that when you see that there's an
inkling of chance that you could win the class that you've entered in then it gets serious then
shit gets serious just every time I think matter if I make this I can birdie this yeah and then
I'm a three-put it yeah you know what I mean and get back to that bogey that I'm used to yes like
yes it's like that I don't I don't know man it's not that I don't like driving my truck because I do
you know what I mean but I can't see myself wanting to do it man everything's so expensive like even
the motor in my truck isn't that expensive but man that's that's or scatter it or man it's a ton
of wear and tear like when it's hot on that the the one week that they do when it's super hot
your oil temps get super hot and shit just goes bad quick look at what happened at this last one
what was it the the sick sick sick week yeah sick week they show up and it's 30 degrees
like I don't even like being cold no more there's people there that have roadsters or whatever
no tops yeah there's people that have zero heat like they're out there driving race cars
there is holes everywhere like and and this is the 55 two guys for the record like before I race
that thing or drive that thing or go anywhere in that thing I have the original vents that come in
in the side those are still open yeah it is very very very cold in there whenever it's cold out
or it's very hot it's very very hot yes I have air conditioner the heater I didn't run
lines all the way from the front to the back where the heater is actually at
I didn't run those lines that's just that's a lot more water and that's a lot more lines to run to
the back um I could but I thought not really gonna drive this thing in the winter but then
they had one day that was 30 and then it got warm and then it got cold again like just back and
forth and that's why I was saying like like Jeff like it's too much especially for and he's in a
race car yes like a real yes it's got a radiator it's still a race car it's the same car that
we're taking yeah to to promod race yeah and I can barely fit in that thing can you imagine driving
I know I don't like sitting in the staging lanes for five minutes in that car
yeah imagine imagine driving imagine six hours in that thing oh imagine it
ah it's Jeff is a lot smaller than I am still though the cockpit of that car is a lot smaller
like it fits him yeah like no it's a lot I don't I don't know it's it's not that I'm talking
shit on dragon drives I don't it's not that I don't think what you guys do is cool because it is
going out there and proving that your car can make that drive and go like some of those cars are
really fast yeah you know what I mean like I did it once remember that I do and we broke down on
the first day and we said well hey we didn't just break down look we knew that the car was hurt when
we went there and I had overnighted a piston to the first night where we were supposed to make it to
and we were just supposed to ease it down through there and let that piston make it well I ended up
I pulled the plug wire off of that to try to save that piston
and it was that was the wrong move it was the wrong move we should have just we should have
just let it fire and and ease down through there what do we run we went a nine nine something
I don't even remember eight or a nine something I can't remember was that the one where you blew
the exhaust off of that dude when I picked it up it came apart like everything came apart the blower
pulleys and everything broke off the crank like it came apart there was no there was no patching it up
man so we looked at it and at that point we was what are you gonna do you know like we I had to head
off the car the night before we left and I saw the skirt of the piston not the skirt but the ring
land of the piston was broken off oh wow I pulled the piece out put it back together and we pretended
we didn't see it wow so we said man we'll take it easy on it we'll we'll just go A to B on the first
one yeah we'll try to make try to make the cruise and we had a piston on its way it was just nothing
that we could do yeah we should we just should have not went but man I had already paid I had already
I mean we were in it yeah you were in it I remember I remember all the videos leading up to you going
to do that that's when you first put the protrager on it right yes so like raw pay like he kind of
made some teaser videos and you were out driving it around and stuff like yeah that was before I
met you guys so like I'm watching this as as someone from the outside looking in dude I thought it
was the coolest thing ever that you were gonna drive that badass car we were gonna attempt to yeah I
mean the idea was you were gonna drive it at that point me and chief were both fucking what 300
three plus 300 plus so for both of us to ride in that thing shoot work hard oh yeah oh yeah demo
cony uh coilovers was gonna be hurting yeah and the front ones were too yeah they were struts
yep non-adjustable coilovers yeah yeah yeah so that was you know it was uh it was already then
too much for that chassis yeah yeah so so I I don't know the the drag and drive thing isn't for
me I get a bunch of questions like every time I post something about my truck it's when you're
gonna do a drag and drive with it and I'm just not like when I race that truck I like towing it
to the track in my nice comfortable truck and then when I break it and we got to push it on the
trailer yeah I want to push it on the trailer and climb back in my nice comfortable truck and drive
home yep like I've I've done I've done the drive in my race car and I just don't want to anymore
so that's that's that's where I'm at on drag and drives don't take any offense to it it's just
not my thing well as I get older there is a reason that I'm building this Camaro to cruise it that's
gonna be my powers or that is gonna be my cruiser you know and and I mean the power tour it ain't
much different like you still go to tracks it's just I mean you still go to tracks not the power
tour I thought you did I thought that that's like your destination was a track you didn't
have to make passes but people do oh maybe so maybe I don't think so I don't know the power
hot rod power the hot rod power what was the question do they go to tracks I think so I thought
they did too but I don't know I don't either but I remember back in the day when they first came
out with pump gas drags uh I had the 55 like and me and Roger had talked about doing some of them
yeah and we back then you had to I wish I remember what year this was but you had to submit yourself
your paperwork in and shown pictures of your car well we lied about everything and we said it's
got this and it's got this and if either one of us would have got picked the car would have had that
by time we went there yeah but neither one of us got in it was tough to get in back there yeah you
know the finale is in Tulsa at the track huh at the power tour yeah so it starts June 8th but I
don't believe you gotta make passes you don't turn in time slips you can just I think just cruise if
you want yeah you know it's yeah it says right here the 226 power tour is the 100th anniversary
of ruse 66 oh yeah no that's this year traveling through Illinois Missouri and Oklahoma the five
day 30 30 second annual event features thousands of vehicles drag racing the 32nd event so do the
do the quick math on that what year did power tour start because I remember uh
which would have been 94 okay yeah see so this was probably sophomore in high school
trust me when I was a sophomore in high school I wasn't thinking about racing no this must have
been a year after I graduated then that we talked about doing this yeah maybe even after that because
obviously if we had the money to turn whichever car we sent in because he had a Camaro and I'm
they're starting in Julia Illinois and they're going to Village of Rand tool I don't know and
then they go to worldwide technology raceway in st. Louis Juliet is real close to the end
at 66 because it's in Chicago yeah and they go to Missouri State University in Springfield,
Missouri and they finish it off in Tulsa Raceway Park huh that's cool I wouldn't mind doing that but
like I said as I get older that's right that Camaro small town yeah that Camaro will be
your Camaro won't be a race car very very comfortable that's right it's it's gonna it's
gonna be a classic nice cruiser that makes some power classic looking muscle with modern amenities
yes yes so that that car will be amazing to go on cruises like that so I'm basically taking
what I tried to do with the 55 and making what a quarter of the power yeah and making it much
much nicer yeah because at the end of the day yes I could drive the 55 would it make it on those
probably yeah it's still a race car it's a race car man like the turkey seats the suspension
still hits if you hit a big bump on on the exhaust because you're gonna break the whole car well
the exhaust is all the way out the back yeah you know so you know how it is put up with your
bullshit and then when you press the uh what's it called gear vendor oh yeah it's tear it sounds
like it's gonna break it sounds like the whole tradition that's just a gear vendor that's part
of the gear vendor yeah but it feels like that because the car is so solid too yes everything
everything is solid in the car yes there's there's I mean the chassis is welded to the the to the
frame to the body and it's you know it's all solid there's no motor mounts there's no motor
mounts in anything it's all solid it is a race car it is it's a race car with overdrive and
and they're conditioning yep and it's a it's a cool ass all of that by the way yep so but
damn blank wall dude I can't man we gotta figure it out though like what do we do these days so
do you put tax in the walls or or do you put the those uh the the stickies you know like that
that sticky stuff on the wall whenever you pull them off man I just throw a nail in that unit
hang the picture so or just get the wall did you load up huh what like just get a big old picture
on the wall like not an actual picture on the wall but get the wall as the picture

he had to thank all of his sponsors and and all that yeah yeah well well now he's kind of
he's his own deal right like he's KTR racing is yep it's it's blown up like he's got a ton of cars
out there with his stuff like and he doesn't necessarily have to think about what he says
anymore so that interview on that was uh that was like old old time Stevie and I thought it was

like pole road is pretty much as close to a track as you can get

even if they weren't going out to find like amazing concrete roads they're putting them on
shitty roads like dirt roads cut your tires up whenever I don't understand that like why it's
like the people who are putting on the races now look for terrible surfaces you know and
they would probably argue and say no it's just all there is no it's not no it's not it is not all
that there is like there I still there's still lots of decent roads out oh yeah and they don't
like they they just want to go to whatever the shittiest road is yeah like like you said earlier
on a decent road obviously the better car and you know what I mean the faster cars have better
chance on a shitty road that's what's good about the street yes but on a terrible terrible terrible
road a five thousand dollar El Camino could be a fifty thousand dollar car I'm saying I know it
could too on the right any of them yes but on a worse or street so why all the sudden are we
catering to people who haven't put in as much work as the guys who have to go fast as they
possibly can like I don't I don't understand all the people that I go out sugar racing with
are the same people that race every single weekend so I don't so if we talk to Nick right now

which one do I think Nick's gonna pick yeah he's gonna pick the better road I would assume so
right is that gonna pick the better road dude that is saying no no no we don't want that good
it's Richard well the race master picks the roads I understand that but he's got to be getting
some sort of input from other people there was a point in time when Richard was racing at his
own races yeah we have the roads got worse since then yeah they have they've gotten pretty bad like
that road because they used to race out in front of marks all the time yeah no I remember that or
they would go down to cougar and it's now a lot like the cops no but that wasn't Richard though
you could still but listen you could still go to out to alternative right now and I call it
alternative because that's just yeah oh that's yeah it's the same marks yeah marks yes I call it
the new generation calls it marks yeah the only problem like the reason Richard you can still go
there right now right is because all the kids in their stick shift v6 mustangs I found that spot
and they're usually there every single time we try to go out there yeah so then we got this because
yeah I try to go out at nine o'clock at night listen those guys will leave whenever they see
real racers there you think those people didn't come around whenever we was out racing hell yeah
they did and they would park and they would watch us yep I mean or if you went to the place like
Metro Tech then you kind of got a kind of got to deal with that yeah that was kind of their spot
yeah we just every once in a while went there like and that was a terrible road like in the last
two or three years I've been going out I've been to you've already said climate
in the marks I've been to cougar I've been to pole the other side of pole
bnr that's pretty much it you ain't been to gateway I've been to no I've never been to gateway I
really want to go but I think the alarm still goes off right whenever I'm sure it does it went off
him yeah I went out to Lawton and we were out there yeah that was a shitty road too wasn't it
weatherford place where out by weatherford oh no oh yeah yeah we just went there that's uh
that's what I'm saying yeah yeah so there's multiple multiple places yeah we haven't even
named all the roads around here like not even close to them what happened like Santa Fe 50th and
Santa Fe what happened to uh what was the place over by FedEx didn't that what we called FedEx
uh not 15th we yeah we called it FedEx but it was over off of May and uh it was over it was FedEx
is what it was called yeah yeah that was a decent road and then there is uh y'all never held races
over in the warehouse right uh no just testing I mean they had races there they had races there
but the shutdown the shutdown was very very same with climate I know you know I know I know you've
made some fast passes at climate but people now are complaining about the shutdown and climate
people used to complain about the shutdown at cougar too that's what you did on there they did
people didn't like to race at cougar you know I would find the place that you don't like to race at
and I would go there man but climate's got that hole in the right lanes got so much bigger yeah
over time it's a big dip you know Dave Dave drew right lane I went oh well and then Dave just
drove right through and floated over the uh and then it is Monte Carlo yeah yeah yeah I don't I don't
get it actually street races still more than what we do yeah yeah I don't uh well that's because
he's here when we're out racing yeah uh I don't I don't understand the thought process of picking
such shitty roads like I just I I do not get it it doesn't make sense to me um I feel like I feel
like it's um I don't know I feel some type of way about it though every time I'm out there I just
wish I was a lot I was around back in the you know whenever everyone had their old names and it was
just carburetor everyone had their old names their old names I mean it was it was it was different
times in for sure like you can't you can't go back to that stuff on the street uh nine and eight
maybe I mean I'm sure you made some 530 passes on the street back then with the dual carburetor
on the on the blower on the nova I mean 550s 540s I think was that like like cracker and all them
we're going no I don't know if cracker cracker is always on a small tire cracker never had a big
yeah I'm talking small tire I'm not I mean the the last pass I never had a small tire car I was
always big tire because at at one point it didn't matter what you had it was went out there and
right you just went out there and raced if it's your fault that you had a small tire what was my
fault I remember I remember the last list race ever you against the Sonoma at bnr it was before
we had draggies and shit but like they made like some 490 50 passes on that street at that at that
given time yeah but then you think about the fact that it was a big tire and I was trying to change
still yeah but what were those cars making 12 1100 I mean the og made 1800 plus at that oh did it
yeah when the show first got here my car made 800 horsepower more than anybody else's
you know I mean there's a reason we always there's a reason you watch the old big Rob videos and
your half-tracking people yeah when we could get it to have a myrnova could win why you know when
we're gonna win murder nova but we didn't we didn't take any power out of the car back then
because you had such a big tire it was whatever yeah like you literally just gave it all it had
we put enough weight in the back of the car until we didn't have to power management it
we didn't have nothing to power management then you probably had the willy bars decently high
oh yeah like most of the time it didn't even hit him that's what yeah that's what i'm saying
yeah it had enough will speed out of the hole that it didn't it didn't need the way that's why
man on a on a good pass that car just solid black marks until he let off yeah it would blacktrack
the whole way so yeah no things things were different back then raised that I mean in elk
city against I mean we used to go sooner we used to go to uh eastern's a good one eastern was a
good road like yeah we don't know nothing about any of those roads that's because jays jays probably
does well listen they've sooner I know for a fact they have built so much stuff around there that I
don't even think it's possible I haven't been over there in years not since uh old dude had his shop

there four times that all the way out no no no no that was his house that was whenever he his
shop burned down years ago yeah and then he moved his shop to his house I drove his house was a long

dad in the backseat and he wasn't back there and I was like oh man where's dad he wasn't in the truck
when it was time to go we rolled out you know and left old old Rick there man he got a ride with
somebody he did he did I've watched that video and it's just like yeah there was nothing I don't
even line up and he just takes off he drove he drove his car there and I didn't that was a nice car
the 57 yeah he had like a 50 gallon fuel cell in the back of it well he had it yeah that had like
a holly blue or something that fed up to the front mechanical cell and it just had a float on it
yes I was gonna say he had like a real elaborate setup it was a lot of work because he drove that
thing everywhere it was a lot of work man yeah because at that time the the mechanical stuff was
not pullers there were pushers yeah something what you can't that's not gonna work would he stupid
yeah that's that's not gonna pull that fuel it's gotta push it yeah yeah I don't know I I like
street racing I just wish it was it's not that I don't like it I just man if I had more time I would
probably still do it but man listen as I get older I can't imagine the people that are my age

to a cash days down in Dallas man there's nothing like it I still remember the first cash days I ever
got to go to was was down in Dallas and uh yeah I'd only ever seen videos on big rob's channel or
1320 but man it's true getting getting getting to experience that shit firsthand shit that was that
was something else man yeah but now like but I couldn't imagine walking around and seeing cars
like the Sonoma or like Doc Street Beast but I see cars like the 55 you know yeah but I couldn't
imagine seeing cars like pull out of the tray like the Sonoma with the big old wheelie bars and big
tires well what's what's crazy is those a lot of those cars if they would go to decent roads would
run what we used to run on big tires on those technology yeah for sure yeah for yeah there's
no doubt like I think that we could take the og out and find some roads with it maybe you know
maybe not with the blower that's on it now but the 121 for sure so on that terrible road we went to
last time I went out the last time they had a race there the fastest pass of the night the
winning pass the final round was a 680 what's the fun in that the last time we went the same guy won
it and he won a 610 I just why why have a 5 0 car that you slowed down to run 650s that doesn't make
that just doesn't compute to me I understand you got to get down the road but there's a there's a
there's an extent to that you know what I mean like who wants to kill half their power to try
to go down the road yeah that's not what we did it for we did it for different reasons that people
do it for now we did it to try to go as fast as we could out there not let's see if we could
slow our cars down like we would go out and we would clean the road like we literally got leaf
blowers and and and rented machines and stuff to clean roads to make it as good as possible
and I get that now now I mean think about how many people used to prep the roads we never did that
but what's okay I'm sorry yes we did his name uh he had the catfish
camera blue with green the guy went down to texas and they brought out a prepper like a prep
machine oh uh lmr yeah is that the lmr guys uh fair day yeah it looked like jimmy dale
yeah Stephen fair day yeah yeah yeah yeah no I mean I forgot they did that we we used to spray it
then we'd light it on fire what are you gonna do if you prep it he said we're gonna leave yeah
no I mean that's what people used to do you didn't go find the shittiest place and then try to make
it good yeah we tried to find the best place and then we tried to make it good yeah like the things
that people are doing now like what if you showed up to one of them races that they that they're
holding on now and they got all these shitty roads and you went out there and you tried to prep
is there anybody saying nowadays or just does everybody realize show hey no nobody because
I'm not if you took a sprayer out there and just started spraying like I'm not like I like to be
places like I'm gonna bring I'm gonna bring this back yeah look I'm gonna I'm gonna come back
street racing but we're gonna do it my way uh huh uh huh like I'm not for prepping the road but
I'm also not for going to the shittiest place for racing on gravel either and then and then
water burnout only no I don't even my water burnout only but not on some shitt surface you got a
decent surface you know I mean pimp juice yeah well it depends on I mean people nowadays think
that you can't even mix water with pimp juice well that's what I heard if you mix water with pimp
juice it gets slimy like it like it does at the track yes it does does it at the track it does yeah
why do they got a water box you feel it why do they have a water box well because you don't put
sticky on a water box on a track you do a burnout in the water and then pull into the sticky
yeah in the which is exactly what we do on the street like it's not like chemical like actual wet
chemicals what is it so you're gonna tell me that if I took some glue some what's devil's glue
and I put in a water bottle and I mixed it with what happened oh I don't know you wouldn't do that
it would do anything the tires mixing the water you could still do a burnout you could still do a
burnout yeah you could okay if it gets greasy like it does in Oklahoma when it's very very hot out
yes then do a water burnout ice cold water ice cold water hey and it will turn that shit right
back real quick maybe why can't you just put some more trackbite on it because it's gonna get greasy
especially if you've got three or four people out there using different shit yeah yeah
like none of that shit's mixed the same anymore like you got one guy who's a triple glitter one guy
using trackbite and you have two or three people and and people pour so much man on a small tire
car you don't need very much otherwise that shit just gets gooey and there you can bring it back
like if it starts getting to where it's a one lane road that's a lot of times we used to negotiate
and we used to say this will be our lane all night this will be y'all's lane all night because we
know what you're putting down at the street race like a lot of people don't like to do in Chicago
because then they go huh i don't understand what's going on here yeah i feel like you're trying to
fuck me we don't want it yeah you know i mean so i mean but yes that is what they did in Chicago
and then they broke out the sprayer well but like at um mega cash days or whatever
when you've got 80 cars 60 cars out there somebody's pouring out some moose juice 20 different
things the stuff got greasy well we'd get some water out of our ice chest put it in there and
do it by now turn that road right around yep it can come back so there's just multiple that's
that's i understand we're getting way off here you know telling stories and stuff but that is the
difference between now and then because then i don't we wanted to go fast that was the whole
point of it show me how fast you can go yes not show me how much you can turn your car down and
get down this shit surface but it's a difference obviously i haven't street raced very much taking
a car like my car now i don't know how i'm gonna learn to power management like a fit like my
chavelle which could make 16 1700 on a street like what we're they're putting those cars on
i mean you're not gonna be able to run it on anything more than waste gates that's the shitty
part so like i just don't understand why a lot of power out of it like it'll go like we can make
it go it's just but then you also think about what suspension you have and all the like you know
like you make it work pulling 700 800 horsepower out of it and then you take it to a decent or
like a more decent changing is not set up for power to it the dumb that's what i'm saying
that's why we found the best roads that we could we had multiple roads that were junk
that nobody wanted to go down yeah but even our not that we wouldn't go down but sometimes you had
to if you ran out of spots we'd go ha it sucks but we could go here and we go oh man what about
this place and then you may end up circling back to this place yeah but nowadays if the cops chase
out at one spot you go to the next spot cops chase out that spot they're usually gone from
that other spot you left from yeah you can do that yeah but that's part of the problem
you gotta have more than two spots oh we usually got three but then also everyone will leave the
huddle and then no one will say where we're actually going and then you got to get a relay text
everyone 20 minutes later about where we're actually headed to well the presence of the social
media what is big yeah that's that's very true and that kills everything social the internet
kills everything it doesn't really matter what social media sucks yeah sucks that it's
such a necessary I watch all these these shows where people do the big blackouts and we're
gonna set back time and all that by killing the internet and I'm like man why can't that happen
yeah for real but it can't I don't know what I do yeah yeah do anything you do your own thing
no mind your own business you know the world would be a lot you don't need to know what do you
need to know you need to know something that's happening you need to know what's going on
politically in the world maybe no you don't no you don't nobody does everybody's life nobody
needs to know see all that shit that's going on yeah I get to everything man so yep anyways but
yes that is our our street racing rant and no we are not street racers we're not maybe if we were
we'd understand it but man I've been a street racer and uh I've been accused of it and that's not
the way we did it man have you seen the comments like people that don't know anything about like
what you've been doing the last seven or eight years that are in pro mod and like all the comments
are either that's not a nova when they post blue and that's when it gets in put in a different
algorithm yeah but then there's also like man just turn your back on the streets and all that stuff
you know like hang on yes I'm here yes yes we did yes yes that the street that is what we did
streets of what made you popular and stuff like that oh I'm not saying that it didn't
and I'm not forgetting where I came from but you can't stay where you're at you have to evolve
and that's what we've done we've evolved we have taken our hobby from racing on the streets and
made it our life I mean it's it's part of it man it's the evolution of if you're gonna continue
kelly getting no hate though for what in pro mod racing oh well yeah because they didn't really
see him on the streets anyways yeah they saw him on the streets whenever he came and raced with us
yep that's about it yeah I'm not saying he didn't street race because obviously he was pretty good
at it he was pretty damn good man he was pretty good at it that'd be insane to see that car in
person on the street what the original shocker it was fast man man the first time Dave out ran him
and it was literally it was you know he beat him by a fender and Dave just got the candles just lit
man that Sonoma was something special dude when it ran good I don't know but when it ran good
when it ran good and it was on a pass and it just started you know eating itself alive
when the flames started turning green yes it started throwing sparklers out of it that thing
was fast it's just funny here Dave say it doesn't matter how much it costs no one did not pay
oh yeah Dave didn't care he's I blow up every time if I every time and that's what he told me
he said I will burn this thing up every time I race you hey and he did he did he was a man of his
word hey and he beat me more than I beat him to be honest with you and you can see it I guess about
like 500 feet maybe you could just start eating itself up hey and he didn't lift and just not in
his not in his brain to lift he was just fraying back then a lot all of it I don't know like three
kits probably he could keep it alive nowadays you know it's it's come along so far the nitrous
stuff has well guys was nitrous too they were still carbureted back then yeah but now they have
individual well and not to mention they were so much lighter than us like if you think about it
there's been one thing that has been in in common for us ever since we've been racing and that is
we make too much power and we weigh too much we had to make more power than everybody else
because our cars were so much heavier the nova was 3,600 pounds when the show first started so
it that's what I hope my car weighs it 3,600 pounds and it went 470s and it was one of the
faster door cars around like 470s at the track and 3,600 pounds whenever this whole deal started
and now it's 2,600 yep so was that fox did that fox body really weigh 1,900 pounds which one
that new inline six deal or the 2jz deal yeah you know uh the girona sword ever yeah the super guy
yeah so anyways enough about street racing let's get to what really matters pro mod pro mod um
we're getting ready to uh head back down for the world series of pro mod the final race of
um the winter series drag illustrated winter series and uh we're ready we're close to ready
we're not ready we're we're called mostly ready we're mostly ready yeah uh let's just jump right
into it man like we've told you guys numerous times we will do what it takes to win whatever it takes
we will do whatever it takes to win we'll spend however much the keys money we can to win we will
and and honestly the last it's not what was the last race uh the us street gnats the us street gnats
it man it was it reminded me so much of mpk mpk like five years ago yes when we could not
do anything right with the turbo car and man it all the work zero results it put a horrible
horrible taste in my mouth and it reminded me of what it was like to beat your head off the wall
with the turbo car and although i believe that we have one of the most consistent turbo cars in the
world you just got to ask yourself one question man like do you think that you got the fastest car
on the property and if you asked me that i would say yes that doesn't win races that does not it
quate over two going rounds now at any given time i believe blue is the fastest car on the property
uh just like i thought the mpk car was the fastest car on the property multiple multiple
multiple times on friday nights it was under the lights it was man some friday night heroes we were
some friday night heroes but then the next day we were first round me when that track got to 110
degrees it just wasn't happening so and and that really sucks to to think back on that and and when
we're making changes and and and we're going over data and we're trying to figure out why the car
is not reacting the way that we want it to and then all of a sudden the car is not going straight
and we start aborting runs which is something that we haven't really done with blue uh honestly we
kind of hit the ground running with that car we i mean we did you know we we we struggled a little
bit at these two races last year but we we still strung together some passes we didn't make it in
but we strung together passes but then we brought it home went over the car real good and we went
out and we won our very first race that we entered after that and then the the success kind of
continued throughout the season with that car yes it did but as i lay in bed at night i
well first off i don't sleep anyways so i have lots of time to reflect and it just sucks man
it sucks to to think that we work that hard and every once in a while we get out of the car
smiling yeah um
but we we know the right decision or at least we think that we know the right decision so
and we promised everybody we're gonna do whatever it takes to win and in my opinion
i don't believe a turbo car can get it done and that's that's just the god man it sucks because
i don't even want to consider taking the turbos off of blue but with that being said the turbos
are not on blue anymore where are they we came home let's find them we talked about it we talked
about it i know where they're at oh yeah they're definitely they're definitely on a car you know
we came home and before we ever even left us street gnats we knew that we was going to put
a pro charger on the car we had a plan and so we came home we jerked everything out of the white
car the mpk car engine transmission pro charger two-time gear drive champ white car we took everything
out of the white car and put it right in blue everything everything so there's no more lock
up in the car it's got the transmission in it from the white car it has the engine from the
white car so as soon as we put that stuff in it with the gear drive and everything on the car
we freshened it up we put rods in it uh last time we had it out in the very last pass yes
yes the very last pass we went a 7370 at 208 208 with that car uh at 2740 pounds yes
we have been 65 with that same combination um
so our whole reasoning guys is consistency and we've talked about this before
and this is exactly what we did in mpk we swapped we swapped the turbos
put the pro line hemi in it with the pro charger and we went out not that season but
we went out and had the best season we've ever had and then the following season which would be
year two we won the championship i mean even even that season you know we struggled early
that season that season could have been our breakout season and i still started yeah i still
consider that to be our breakout season we struggled with wiring early in the season once
we got that car rewired did we started winning yep and like you said at one point we had the
chance to win the championship going into steel alabama if we had beat kai that that first or
second round that we raced him of the grade eight we were a serious contender for the championship
yep we just we just missed it finishing third and consistency wins races guys uh
it sucks to think we're never going to go out and put down 222 mile an hour again but
that's not what wins turns the wind lights on the wind lights are determined on the starting line
and by getting to the other end consistency and the pro charger has consistency so we got
the latest and the greatest biggest pro charger we've ever had before we've never ran this big
of a pro charger on our car so we got a bigger pro charger and it's still the 140 dash one it is
it is but sort of it's the the remodel you know so the car is actually at blakes right now so once
we once we freshen the car up because it was blowing some smoke and come to find out we we
found a uh a cracked sleeve and it wasn't just a little crack it was a four inch crack down the
sleeve and that engine had 15 passes on it we could have very well have just put it in the car
and went with it oh man brandon would have been mad but yes he would have but we wanted to make
sure that everything was good to go and i'm not saying that that happened in 15 passes but i'm also
saying that it not saying that it didn't uh i could have missed it the last time we changed
these pistons out were was it before we went to 15 or 65 in mission it was it was after it was in
mission it was at the race that we went to 65 we freshened that motor up and went out went to 65
that mission so we raced after we won the last mpk race ever yes that's right that's right so this
is the engine transmission gear drive all that stuff that we won the last race of the the last
mpk ever in washington chalice bay yep so uh we haven't told anybody yet this is the first
that anybody's hearing of it i'm sure that there's people out there saying i knew they'd do it i knew
they'd do it well we told you guys we'll do whatever it takes to win and that's what we're
gonna do uh obviously there is that fear in my head that what if we don't what if we go out now
and we don't qualify there's there's always that chance uh this is that like you know there's
gonna be 50 people that's not gonna qualify literally 50 people so i don't believe that
we'll be one of those 50 but if we are i still don't think that we're going backwards so so
here's the thing we made one out of four passes last time and we're able to qualify we thinking
that we had one of the fastest cars on the on the property even if we don't start out with one of
the fastest cars on the property if you give brandon four opportunities at a track with a car that
will go down four out of four times it's gonna go fast it's gonna go fast so uh we don't have
obviously we're not gonna have time to test uh the race is next week it's it's literally but
when you guys listen to this yeah we literally have oh yeah no we got a week by the time y'all hear
this it's a week and like we'll be testing and we'll be testing by time you know a week after
they hear this yes um actually six days but this whole week is ducks race so brandon is going to
be at ducks race winning that deal probably yes bro 275 definitely definitely win that deal you know
and um so we're not going to get a chance to test so we talked to brandon and and literally
i mean he was like i told him a couple of things that we were going to do to blue
in between that race and this next race and he said only thing you need to do is hang a
pro charger off the front of that thing you know so we we knew that it was time and we gave it a
valiant effort uh do we believe that we could win with turbos with that car absolutely because we've
done it do we believe that we could win the big race with it i don't i just i don't think that it's
possible man like look at jimmy taylor it's the fastest car on the property he i mean literally
literally fastest car on the property and the fastest car in the world
goes out first round first round yeah i mean he was number one qualifier at the last race yep
out first round yep and and it wasn't even during the day that was a good outrun night
we should have made a good pass and he should have made a good pass which he did he made a decent
pass what did he go 57 or something uh gustison went a 60 or a 54 something yeah gustison went a
54 against him with which which which he had a pro charger for the record uh because i know a lot
of you guys are going to ask why we didn't go with the hearts um well we like the hearts there's
there's no doubt in our minds like hearts is what the turbos were and we had a good relationship
with the hearts people uh dustin was a he's a great dude great company yes all that stuff
i literally hollered at him and said look man this ain't got nothing to do with you i appreciate
everything i'm going with pro charger because i try to stay loyal to the people that stay loyal to me
and we literally have pro chargers on both of our other cars well we know how to run pro chargers
we have a good relationship with the guys at pro charger uh it's it's not just that
the these kit like to go and buy that deal to bolt it on the front of the cars $22,000
we've already got four pro chargers yes and and literally we didn't have to buy anything we just
put everything from my car into this one it made sense financially it did us to do that so
while we are at this race we will send blues motor which bear in mind is a mh6 ours are both mh7s
and both of my cars we can turn this mh6 into a mh7 and we will have pro line do that while we
are at this next race uh already got the transmission back from mark mickey um so it's already
big as pan off of it oh i don't know hopefully he did
it's a lot of weight it is we don't need that much so uh that's the first we've said it to
anybody guys we don't have the car back we're actually picking the car up tomorrow yeah we are
yeah you are phantom is driving to go and pick it up tomorrow i am going to he's going to take
the five hour trip up to to get the car up at blakes i'm going to take the the short three
hour trip down to dallas and pick up a set of tires uh i would rather have my trip man screw
texas i'll be here i know ain't no be here doing things but will either um it's it's it's one of
those things that i truly believe that consistency wins races it just sucks now because we're not
gonna go out and we're not gonna lay down that one awesome pass that everybody's gonna talk about
and i don't even know why you're worried about it though i because i like because man i like the
turbo cars i like the 222 they're cool but man there's nothing cooler than a winlight i know
there is nothing in this world cooler than a winlight i know and now i don't have to worry
about staging the car i can go in first i can go i can do whatever i want to do yeah starting
line i can focus just nothing on except pretend it's the white car now and just don't think about
anything yep you just brain dead in that car yeah yeah i know yeah it's just amazing i just do
it's amazing i just do my thing in that car yeah the burnouts will be easier everything will be
louder for sure everything will be easier you just shove it up into high gear and mash it have a man
oh dude turbos are cool i love turbos don't give me your own turbos are always cool and honestly
guys if we ran quarter mile i'd leave the turbos on it if we did dragon drives i'd leave the turbos
on it yeah but with that car running quarter mile you can't make it i mean uh like you couldn't
make it quarter mile with that car with that power why it's like well jimmy taylor tried you just stay
in it a little bit longer that car's gonna come apart why because it's a full carbon body it might
come apart it's going to we'll never know hey listen i don't want to i don't want to i told jimmy
whenever he was doing that yeah i told jimmy good luck brother be safe it's i don't want to do that
car kick sideways at 280 miles it has i saw him kick it sideways at the eighth it's over it's done
and he he made it what maybe a thousand feet hey he even in his world record he lifted early
yeah i know he said when he let out of it made it like that to the full quarter mile and then
imagine the shutdown like on the brakes the parachutes all that he said when he let out of it he
was going 286 mile an hour on that pass and he he only went through the traps at 260 so he he was
out of it for a second you know i think it's the right move guys and i keep on saying this because
i'm telling myself too i'm not just telling everybody else i'm telling myself this is the
right move we know pro chargers pro charger was the fastest car on the property last weekend
or last month went to 54 now bear in mind he did have uh five speed lock up liberty
yeah he did he did but but even then like aside from being the fastest on the property man i'll
just i'll i'll take consistency any day over over a couple numbers i just need to go up
i need to make three passes and then i'll be comfortable in the car and then after that light
light light light i got to cut a light if anybody is going to run with anybody there
they've got to cut lights much dude so many of those races are decided at the tree it's
insane yep the competition is so close lots of races were won and lost on the tree let's
barely barely by i see people going you're gonna have to clean up them lights yeah y'all
were talking about against scott i get it you know i didn't matter nothing when it meant something in
first round against steve i went 012 on the light guys to his 011 he did still leave on me he did
but he literally is 11 the next pass too yeah he's he's his his record was his average was 016
016 in that race i think in it was just that race it was oh i thought that was the two combined
no i think jason harris is still leading with the with the two races man he killed it at the first
race okay jason is just a machine he is just a machine that car sexy as hell too yeah but
the car looks amazing uh blake's done an awesome job i can't wait for me to see it uh the headers
are the the most amazing thing i've ever seen so far they're they're like they're super nice man uh
other than that uh blue will have its all of its own stuff it won't just have my stuff in the car
but we'll get everything swapped over to where blue has its own stuff uh and at one point guys
keith came up to me and said man won't you stop playing around with that thing and put a pro charger
on it and i said stop don't don't do that to me this was midweek whenever we were struggling on the
car yeah and i said don't put that thought in my head right now keith you know don't you put that
evil on me and uh so then after he told me that i'd have hung one on it right then yeah so then
afterwards i said hey are you serious he said i don't care what you do with it so uh can't beat
having somebody like keith own a car that you're racing dude keith has been amazing to to work with
on this deal like it's it's awesome man it is because it's it's never a question of whether we got
good equipment or the best equipment like whatever that thing needs to win he has no problem with
providing it yep and it's not like we're out spending all his money guys we we do things we
could never spend all this money that's right uh we've been paying for a little bit uh here and
there you know but if it's a big bill he always gets it yeah like we changed the oil and the fuel
yeah we paid rk uh you know we we pay for the brakes yeah which don't
hit me you gotta justify it to me it's 2300 bucks for brake pads for this thing you know
but uh man you should have got some calla hands i should have got i know i know the warranty is
not on the box on those but it uh it is good dealing with keith and keith is a trooper and
keith wants the best for the car and he knows that we will do what is best and we will do
whatever we can to put that car in the winter circle he picked the right guys whenever he picked
somebody to take care of this car to house this car to take care of this car to put this car in
the right position to make it a winner he picked the right people we will do whatever it takes to
win i'm gonna say that's us right that is us that is us so um and we're gonna continue continue
doing it so and you know until he takes the car away from me and that's what i told him and he
laughed and said he's never gonna take it away from me so we're gonna race this car until he
changes his mind we're just gonna keep on keeping it here then it's like it's both right it's like
it's both of ours we just keep it down in my place yeah so um i'm excited for it i'm ready for you
to see what a 890 something 60 feels like and that's what brandon said too he said what are you
upset about i said i'm gonna miss the 222 and he said ah the 895 will make up for that so
look man i don't expect a lot but i expect the 895 i don't feel like that's too much to ask for
man i don't think so i've seen his other cars do it you know the one thing i didn't ask blake
what you think he put the upper wheelie bars on that thing oh shit i hope so
i forgot all about that and he talked to me about it whenever i had to
whenever i dropped it off damn hopefully

well are we gonna wrap this deal up i think so we've talked about enough we've won on a couple
rants told you what's new with blue it's uh oh it's pretty pretty well-rounded show here hope

you never know we'll figure it out we'll figure it out i definitely want to make a couple of
passes and then talk about it yeah for sure and then i think uh this this time with the videos
we will do a testing video like you said what did you say testing video testing a qualifying
and eliminations and then an eliminations video
and can't keep up no i was just thinking about if we did an elimination video for the last one
i've been pretty sure oh i mean that's messed up they were last time they wouldn't even make it to
eliminations last year and he meant the last one though where it was one race yeah but last
race went to his first round yeah well the races when we first started with this car didn't even
college we'll keep on we'll keep on keeping on guys and we'll uh as always get better we will get
better these podcasts will get better the cars will get better uh god we're gonna race a lot this
