You're still smoking dope, Holly.
I'm ready for me, pot of gold.
You sure are.
And by the way, we're Shaking Bake and we're under the influence of that horror.
I'm Kelly.
Sorry, so high right now.
I'm Alexa.
I'm Mike.
I am the one who's not based right now.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Baked.
Okay.
I'm a fan.
You could also say that you're hydrated.
I am hydrated on water.
A hydrohomie.
Yeah.
What do we watch?
We watched Leprechaun from 1993 starring
Warwick Davis and Jennifer Aniston.
America's most expensive TV star.
Okay, but wait, at this point was she already like a TV star?
She wasn't, I don't think they would do it now.
Isn't that her breakout?
This, I believe was her breakout.
That's a choice of breakout movie.
Yeah, this is Jennifer Aniston's feature film debut.
One year later, she would become a household name
as part of the ensemble cast of Friends.
Yeah, so this was her breakout.
Yeah, that's a way to say it.
That's why when you said, oh yeah,
she's like the big TV star, I'm like,
no, I'm 99% sure this was her breakout role.
I know, the bit is that this is the,
when she was working for like spam scraps
instead of the million, billion, billion dollars
that she makes now were made.
I am very high and I'm gonna forget to tell you guys this,
I'm gonna tell you now, the entirety of the movie
I was just thinking about, when I was a kid,
my mom had a shirt that said, proud to be Irish.
But because of the font, she changed it
that said, proud to be Trish, because she's not Irish.
Only she wants it, she found it, she actually is Irish,
but I don't know, that's, okay, wait,
that's my favorite part that she added to the shirt.
She did gold glitter and like fabric glue
just changed it to a T.
That sounds like your mom, yep.
So she's like, yeah, I'm proud to be Trish.
You sure are.
You sure are.
Every time they said like luck at the Irish or anything,
I was just like trying not to laugh,
because all I could think about was that fucking shirt.
If we make merch, we're proud to be Trish.
Absolutely, absolutely, I'm so fucking relate.
That's amazing.
I love it.
But that joke's on her, she actually is Irish.
That's, yes, that's the part that I'm like,
wait, hold on, she added it in the shirt for no reason.
Oh, dear.
I have to ask her if she still has that shirt,
I hope she does.
Oh my God, please.
I'll send you a picture if I do, if I find it.
Just, it's really, it's urgent that we have this knowledge.
Fucking hell.
But yes, we started, we sat down to watch Leprechaun.
Oh, we should, I almost forgot.
Too high.
Too high.
I also forgot to go through the cast of characters.
You, we got Warwick Davis and Jennifer Aniston.
They're very important.
You know, the other one is like the guy I recognize
is Francis from Pewee's Big Adventure.
And the kid that you wanted to die so badly.
I know that kid's in some other movie,
I just can't remember what he is.
Hold on.
He's in some other fucking movie.
I genuinely don't know.
I got it, I'll pull it off.
He's a 90s kid actor and yeah,
I wanted that little fucker to die.
You guys stop saying that you want kids to die.
It's really bad implications.
Yeah, we, we start the movie with the O'Grady's.
So we have Shay Duffin as Dan O'Grady
and Pamela Ment as Mrs. O'Grady.
Warwick Davis plays the Leprechaun who isn't given a name.
Jennifer Aniston plays Tori,
our main protagonist, question mark.
Her father, Nathan is played by Ken O'Land.
And then the other characters,
the other prominent characters are,
oh wait, sorry, Nathan wasn't her dad.
Nathan was her love interest.
And his associates, Mark Holton as Ozzie
and Robert High Gorman as Alex,
AKA the child that you kept wanting to die.
He's actually like a peak 90s kid of like,
he just pops up in random stuff.
So who's I'm like, an episode of Quantum Leave.
Don't tell mom the babysitter's dead.
Obviously, Leprechaun, Mr. Nanny, an episode of Full House.
Mr. Nanny, that's what I remember him from.
An episode of Boy Meets World.
Yeah, he's like, I think he's like,
he's a babysitting kid for one of those.
I like how I'm looking through this list
and I'm looking at the titles and I'm like,
which one of these sounds like something Michael would watch?
I see Mr. Nanny and I'm like,
I'm like, I think Michael's not.
I think that's a Hulk Hogan joint.
Hold on, I'm looking it up right now, hold on.
It absolutely is.
It absolutely is, yep.
I was like, I know I've seen this fucking little shit
in some other movie, I just couldn't remember what.
And it was also a piece of shit.
Our former professional wrestler is hired
to be the bodyguard slash Nanny
for a couple of bratty kids
whose inventor father is being stalked by a rival.
This sounds incredible.
It's terrible.
No, it sounds amazing.
Is it gonna be a one hitter?
I mean, if you want,
if we watch anything of the Hulk Hogan uvra of films.
The Hulk Hogan cinematic universe, if you will.
They're all fucking bad
and they're all entertaining with stupid.
My brother has a picture with Hulk Hogan
and I'm also broke Hogan.
Really? Oh, really?
Yeah, with Hulk Hogan creepily
like staring at his daughter the whole time,
because that's the thing.
I don't know.
I don't think my brother would notice that.
Don't look at my daughter, brother.
Yeah, he's a creep.
Uh-oh, Hulk Hogan.
Wait, what? Sorry.
George Lucas received a special thanks credit
because Warwick Davis was under contract to him
and he gave Davis permission to appear in the movie.
Fucking George Lucas.
Fucking George Lucas.
Does that basically say George Lucas
like owns Warwick Davis?
What the fuck?
He's not allowed to be in anything else.
You can't own a person, George.
We fought a war over this.
Jesus.
He gave him permission.
It's like he's a grown man.
I know he's like a little person,
but he's a grown fucking man.
He's a grown man.
Leave him alone.
Let him do his life.
Let him live his life.
It's his life.
Yeah, fuck you, George.
First you fuck up Star Wars,
then you take away Warwick Davis's life.
Fucking asshole.
Warwick Davis, if you need help, link to my...
I don't want mad.
So, well, let's check in on how our boy,
Warwick Davis, was acting in this movie.
He's the patron saint of shake and bake now.
I don't care.
Is he displacing Frankie Mermaid?
Frankie Mermaid is like the evil side of the coin.
He's the character part of the coin,
whereas the actual person is Warwick Davis.
Yeah, I would say...
Love it.
Yeah, Warwick Davis is our positive.
Frankie Mermaid is our negative.
Oh, my God.
No.
It's the yin and yang.
Oh, because he was in Willow as well,
and that's another...
I fucking love Willow.
That was another George Lucas joint.
Oh, you know what?
That's probably what it was.
Yeah.
I fucking love Willow.
I didn't know that was a George Lucas movie.
It was produced by him.
Oh, that bummed me out.
Yeah.
It was directed by Ron Howard.
Why do I know?
God, wait, what?
It was directed by Ron Howard?
That was one of my favorite movies, the kid.
It's directed by Ron Howard.
Feel free to double check me on that,
but I believe it's directed by Ron Howard
and produced by Lucas.
The only movie I know for sure that Ron Howard directed
was How the Grinch Stilled Christmas in 2001.
So we watched that two years ago for Christmas,
and Jimmy had no idea, and mind-blowing.
Jimmy never saw it?
What?
Jimmy never saw that before?
Jimmy saw the movie, but had no idea that it was Ron Howard.
Yeah, Ron Howard's done shitloads of movies,
and now his daughter's doing a fuckload of movies too.
Yeah, she was the second Victoria in the Twilight saga.
She replaced Rachel Lefebvre as Victoria.
Michael Blinks and Stairs confused.
Don't worry, this will all make more sense
when we watch it.
Blink, blink.
You'll understand the lore.
It's okay.
Oh, Written by George Lucas, directed by Ron Howard.
What the fuck?
How did you just have that on top of your head?
Because it's a fantasy movie from the 80s and 90s,
and I know all these fucking nerds.
You're special interests, right?
It involves wizards and goblins and shit.
I'm gonna know everything about it.
Oh, God, I love that movie.
I don't want to rewatch it now.
Apparently, the Netflix show did fucking...
I don't know, the Disney Plus show did fucking terrible.
Yeah, I heard that too.
I guess they took it off the surface.
They did.
It was just kind of hilarious.
There was a Willow show on Disney Plus,
and I guess it did so fucking bad that they took it off the surface.
I was really sad I never got around to watching it.
I don't know, but I just know it apparently entanged real fucking hard.
Incredible.
Just always check YouTube.
If anyone wants to remind Disney of their past mistakes,
it's YouTube.
What, Leprechaun?
So, we start the movie with...
This was made by Lionsgate.
Fuck.
Yep.
Don't know what beef you have with Lionsgate,
but it was notable.
It's just so much shit horror movies they've made.
You know you've seen that.
You've seen more horror movies than me.
You know you've seen the Lionsgate logo pop up almost every third movie.
Yep.
It's a lot of Lionsgate and a lot of Blumhouse.
Yeah, you know what the Lionsgate movie?
Twilight.
The fucking course it is.
It is.
That's right.
See?
Yeah, exactly.
Based.
Based.
So, after we settle in to watch the Lionsgate film,
we send her in on a Leprechaun,
and you said that the treasure that the Leprechaun had looked greasy.
Yes.
So, let's start from the top here.
Dan comes home drunk,
and he's all like,
I got a fucking limo.
I'm rich.
And he's in North Dakota, by the way.
This very Irish man is just vibing in North Dakota.
North Dakota.
America's favorite state.
North Dakota.
You know what city is in North Dakota?
Fargo.
I'm gonna watch some Fargo later.
There you go.
There you go.
Yeah, he goes to his wife and he's like,
I caught a wee person.
He's like,
but like he's the whole time he's like,
he got ashes quote unquote from his mother,
his homeland from his mother.
He's Irish.
And then, you know, his wife's like,
what the fuck are you doing?
And he smashes the urn and he finds like a bag of gold in there.
That he won fair and square from a Leprechaun.
And, you know,
he's holding a literal bag of shiny coins.
And his wife's like,
I don't believe you.
Yeah, you're drunk.
I don't believe you.
It's like, where'd he get the bag of gold?
Right.
It's like legitimately,
he has the bag of gold right in front of her.
And she's just like, that's fake.
Fake news.
Fuck that.
It's like, okay.
He might have been like,
you can like half believe him.
Like maybe he didn't get it from a Leprechaun,
but like he got a bag of gold.
Like let's fucking do something with this gold.
We decide not to do anything with the gold.
Also, he got a hundred coins.
Yeah.
Even like say,
let's just take the Leprechaun out of the equation.
You got a hundred gold coins.
He's like, we're rich.
It's like, it's a hundred coins.
Well, we do find out that,
I guess it wasn't specified,
but when they take it to like a pawn shop,
he values the gold coin at $500.
Or priceless.
Or priceless.
That's true.
Which like.
Inflation calculator.
Hold on.
Okay.
So not a hundred times.
So like we're looking at a couple bucks here,
but like you're not a left to like,
I can just retire off a bunch of gold coins.
Even in the nineties.
I mean, maybe, but.
So wait.
Okay.
If in 1993,
I purchased an item for $500.
So $500 gold coin.
Then in 2024,
that same item would cost $1,067.19.
Oh,
our economy is doing great.
So,
so wait, hold on.
Hold on.
I'm doing that.
Times a hundred.
Hold on.
I had to put in the calculator.
I couldn't do that.
We're not a learning channel.
Too high for this.
How much would the guy be sitting on now?
Okay.
You have to hit equals.
Yeah, it's right there.
Oh, there we go.
I'm having trouble here.
So he made,
I need a hundred grand.
He's got a hundred grand.
Wait, wait,
you're not high and you still had to put that in the calculator.
Yeah.
I know.
Okay.
Cause I suck at math.
That's why.
Wow.
Yeah.
I'm terrible at math,
but so he's sitting on a hundred grand.
Yes.
That's still not a lot to like live off of.
That's a year's like,
you know,
that's like a year you ever take of income.
Yeah.
I mean,
so actually was,
so that was just the,
that was inflation.
It wasn't,
it's not necessarily like spending power.
What's that term?
Oh,
I don't understand the economy.
The point is he's sitting on a hundred grand worth of gold.
Yeah.
Which is like,
okay, that's,
that's cool,
I guess,
but like he's like,
we're rich.
It's like you,
you're comfortable for a little bit.
Like maybe to spin that money into something,
you know,
this guy needs to be a smart investor as he's drinking a bottle of
Jameson wandering into his house and be like,
I'm pissed drunk.
Fuck.
You know, it just,
I stole gold from a wee person.
I'm going to invest my money in stocks and bonds.
it's,
you know,
I mean,
I guess we see it in,
we see it in real life too.
Like,
more,
I think it's more often than not.
Lottery winners end up like.
Pissing their money.
Yeah.
They,
they just like,
they spend it all,
like not really thinking about it because,
you know,
there's no constant,
oh,
this could run out.
Because it's stupid.
Well,
they're not earning the money.
They just have like.
Free money.
I mean,
I like,
I'd like free money,
but I also,
I'm not an idiot.
I would like parlay it out like.
Yeah.
Okay.
Like,
say I made like a million dollars in the,
in the,
in the lotto.
Just do the third trick,
but a third in it and savings,
third in it and investment,
and then pay off all your shit.
Yeah.
And then boom, you're done.
That's what I would do.
If you've got any leftover,
buy a stupid fucking thing that you want.
There you go.
It's not that fucking hard.
I would like free money.
I would like,
if you want to give us free money,
sign up for the Patreon that doesn't exist for this show.
Working on it.
We appreciate every imaginary dollar.
Or sponsor us, friend.
You know.
Oh,
oh,
yes.
this,
this,
this episodes we wish for sponsor would be Dr.
Squatch who actually interacted with us on Twitter.
Please give us money,
Dr. Squatch.
Wait,
what was the,
what was the context?
I'm not very good at check.
Wait,
first of all,
I like how we're still calling it Twitter.
Relatable.
It's fucking Twitter.
It's fucking Twitter.
I agree that it is Twitter.
I don't check my Twitter long enough really.
So what was the context?
That's fair.
Because I,
I frequently purchase Dr. Squatch for my husband and also for my brother,
because they both like it.
They,
I'm on their mailing list and I got an email,
why you need to wash your butt crack.
And it was essentially going through,
there are some nasty rumors going around,
AKA on TikTok,
that y'all aren't properly suds and and scrubbing between the cheeks.
WTF.
This should go without saying,
but it's a must.
Here's why.
And they like give you reasons why.
So I tweeted out,
Hey,
Dr. Squatch,
we also support this message with like a little heart emoji and Dr.
Squatch replied,
Oh God,
I keep a clean down there.
I will,
I will forever fight the battle to say,
grow the fuck up and wash your goddamn ass.
I keep,
the men aren't washing their asshole.
Discourse is,
once again,
pop it up on all my feeds and I'm seeing,
the meme with like the guys boxers,
that like have the fucking skidbarks in them.
And I'm like,
No.
Wash your asshole,
get a bidet,
use some soap,
get them cheeks squeaky clean.
Even if you're like,
yeah,
not my brand,
but I know some people like to go explore it back there.
Don't you want it to be clean?
Well,
there will be no,
also,
first of all,
there will be no exploring if it's not clean.
Second of all,
I am going to assume that the individuals who believe,
it's gay if I wash my asshole,
probably won't let anyone explore that area.
Cause even if it's a woman,
fingering your asshole,
having anything up your asshole is gay apparently.
Just getting the oil,
getting the oil checked.
I think it's kind of like,
I saw it was like,
having sex with a woman is gay
because women like to have sex with penises.
Just admit that you're gay.
Speaking of liking things.
This little uppercorn likes golds.
Who gave her light?
Who gave her light?
So,
yeah,
so I think the guy,
the guy goes to hide the gold and the wife,
who still doesn't believe in the gold that exists,
goes to make some tea.
That's so Irish of her.
It's so Irish.
Relatable.
She starts to hear children singing old nursery rhymes,
and instead of doing the sensible thing and being like,
no, I don't fuck with that.
Why the fuck is there a child in my house?
Exactly.
She walks over because the sound is coming from a suitcase.
It's like,
yo,
I don't know what you're used to packing in your suitcase,
but this isn't normal.
his wife approaches the suitcase
and opens it up and
who should stumble out but the leprechaun.
He's got like,
every time,
Warwick Davis is having a fucking blast.
Oh, he clearly had fun.
He's just like,
every time he says anything,
he's just like,
He didn't have a very consistent accent.
Who cares?
It was great.
Everyone's my immersion.
My immersion?
He was just having a fucking ball.
Oh, he was.
He starts asking the way for his gold back,
which she doesn't have
because she doesn't think there is any gold anyway.
They get into an altercation
and he somehow pushes her hard enough
that she falls down a set of stairs.
She flips.
Yeah.
And then immediately fucking dies.
Halfway through flips,
like there's a full rotation and then lands.
Yeah.
And I cackled and you all just stared at me
because I was like,
this is fucking hilarious.
A woman just died.
I'm like, but it was funny.
Oh my God.
The leprechaun we learned
can disguise their voice
because Mr. O'Grady comes in
looking for his wife and
he starts to hear her voice from the basement.
Oh, not the basement.
No, the kitchen.
Yes.
And out Warwick Davis shows in the shadows.
He's using her voice.
He's like throwing his voice as hers
and he's like got a big hot pot of tea.
With two cups.
With two cups and the steam coming off of everything.
Yeah.
And basically there's an altercation where like,
he's like, I thought I got you.
I didn't.
You know, basically there,
we get the backstory whole thing where like,
they fight and it's awkward
because of course it is.
And he somehow gets the leprechaun
in a giant person size crate
that he apparently had in his basement.
Who doesn't have a crate lying around?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And with the matching lid.
Yeah, with the lid and he starts like nailing the thing in there.
He finds a clover, a four leaf clover though,
which becomes a plot point later
that seems to hold the leprechaun in place.
Whenever given an explanation.
Yeah.
And then he's going to like light the crate on fire
by pouring gas,
but he's apparently has a stroke or a heart attack.
Yeah.
And the leprechaun used their magic to blow out the match.
And it was like cursing him like,
you know, some sort of rhyme or whatnot,
whatnot to, you know, basically.
Curse him.
Curse him.
You know, threaten to be back.
And we're under the impression he's dead.
Yeah.
I legitimately thought this man just like ate it.
Yeah.
But apparently not.
We jumped ahead 10 years.
He's not dead.
We don't know that yet,
but he just want you to know he's not dead.
Yeah.
I really thought he was dead.
I thought he was dead too.
Agreed.
Agreed.
I thought the same thing.
Spoiler alert.
Not dead.
Oh, the credits took forever.
My God.
They took so long.
War driving scenes.
War driving.
But we got some great lines during the drive.
First line that the main character says is,
dad, I'm still depressed.
Relatable.
And I just start laughing.
And, you know, if anyone's going to read that line,
of course it's going to be me.
But yeah, it's Jennifer Aniston's character,
Tori is like, she's basically your classic
Valley girl, spoil rich girl.
They're driving out to bum fuck nowhere to buy
the O'Grady house.
Yeah.
And it's all been dilapidated and falling apart.
But it's not LA.
It's not LA.
And I want an Evian bottle of water.
That's an actual line from this movie.
Yeah.
But she's just like played up hardcore that she's
like spoiled rotten or whatever.
They arrive at the house where it's all dusty
and cobwebs like movie cobwebs,
which could easily be cleaned.
They find the crate and they're looking around
and they see a spider.
A tarantula.
Tarantula, yes.
To which Tori just goes, no fuck this.
We should clarify this is 10 years later.
Yeah.
This is 10 years after the O'Grady stuff happened.
And during this, she's running out like,
I'm going to get a hotel.
Fuck this, blah, blah, blah.
She has this.
She pulls us.
This was made in 93.
Yeah.
She pulls out her red giant fucking cell phone.
Flippy-Doo cell phone though.
It's got the little Flippy-Doo bit.
It did.
And the antenna that you had to pull out.
Pop that up.
She runs into 90s movie guy.
Nathan.
Who just looks like, I described it as we were watching.
They all had TGIF hair.
You did.
Yeah.
I don't even know what that really means,
but they had it.
I don't know what you mean, but I get it.
Yeah, it's weird.
It's like, I don't even really fully get it,
but I know what I'm saying.
You know what it is?
It's that hair that in the mid seasons of Boy Meets World,
all the guys had where it was like parted in the middle.
Oh yeah.
It looks like an open book.
It looks like an open book.
Like, you know, like Sean Hunter had it.
Like Eric Matthews had it.
They all had that kind of same haircut.
So anyway, yeah, he's kind of got like rocking the 90s look.
He's got cut off sleeves and, you know,
they kind of have the classic back and forth where he's like,
Oh, girls are scared of bugs.
And she's like, Oh, it's the 90s, you know,
girl power and whatever.
Like they're just stereotyping back and forth.
Specifically when she bumped into Nathan,
he was holding a bucket of paint thinner and the,
I, there's this training video for some gas station or whatever.
And one of the tests is to ask if like what,
what is unsafe at this station?
And the guy says, Oh, the microwave is unattended.
And the trainer is like, yes, that's right.
And also there's a can of paint thinner in it.
And the microwave.
What the fuck?
Because I want your delicious paint thinner.
Nice and toasty.
Well, that's so whatever.
Like it makes the rounds on like Instagram reels.
The comments are always like, Oh yeah.
Now I'm going to eat my paint thinner.
Oh my God.
You got to sip on the paint thinner.
Like a nice little cup of soup.
This little treat.
Yeah.
As here, she can make, please say do not drink your
consume paint thinner.
Don't tell me what to do.
Don't tell me what to do.
So she, because Nathan is making fun of her
for being afraid of bugs.
She decided she's not going to go to a hotel after all.
Yeah.
That's a, that's a, that's a drill.
Just like, Oh, flip that switch.
Let's go.
Oh, hot guy.
Stay here.
Yeah.
I can't really.
That's a,
we then meet Alex and Ozzie, which I wrote.
Those are some 90s ass outfits.
Yeah.
Oh, but the fucking drip.
Jennifer Anson was serving this entire movie.
Oh, she was.
So a few things to cover here.
Alex.
Let's start with, let's start with Ozzie is played by,
I don't know the guy's name, but I just kept going,
Francis, cause I'm a huge Pee Wee's big adventure fan.
And he, it's the guy who played Francis.
He's wearing a set of paint covered overalls and a pink,
like a very bright red shirt with little paint brushes on it to
which Lexa made a very clear comment.
What?
About the Ozzie shirt.
Oh yeah.
That if Jimmy sees it, Jimmy will want it.
So Jimmy's not allowed to watch the uppercut.
Sorry, Jimmy.
This one's not for you.
And then Alex, the kid who we found it was just 90s kid in a
bunch of fuckload of movies and like TV shows.
Uh, he's wearing like a yellow and red,
yellow and red striped shirt.
He looks like the character from one of the fucking earthbound
games.
Yup.
Um, he's got a mullet and all that and he, but he's like a
little smart ass.
And I was already like, I want this kid to fucking die.
And everyone, everyone in the table was just like, no,
please stop.
Yeah.
I forget.
I wrote it somewhere in my notes, but I said,
Mike is continuing to actively endorse this.
To the child of death on this child.
Yeah.
Jesus, Michael.
Um, problematic buddy, but uh,
I'm sick of kids and movies that are like, I'm smarter than
everybody.
Yeah.
But that's the thing.
Like every time I watch a movie where there's like a smart ass
kid, I'm just like, oh, just get hit by a bus.
Jesus.
I'm just like, just, just like, come on.
Like, I know they're not going to do it.
That's mainly why I say it, but like, just, oh, they're
always like, I'm the cool one.
I'm going to figure out the problem.
It's the scrappy do argument.
Oh, okay.
You know what?
That's the argument is like, I don't really, it's, it's like
the, I can fix everything.
I'm so fucking cool.
Look how badass I am.
It's like, fuck you scrappy dude.
Get hit by a train.
Like I don't give a fuck.
Yeah.
Did you like the 2002 Scooby-Doo movie?
Where it's Rowan Atkinson.
Yeah.
And scrambles.
It was a nice spin on that.
I thought it was funny, but like the scrappy do dynamic
fucking annoys me and everything.
But the movie though, like, did you feel vindicated when
you was like the villain in the movie?
Oh, it's great.
That's actually, that'd be a good shake and big.
That'd be a good shake and big.
I fucking love Scooby-Doo.
That movie was part of my gay awakening.
My gay awakening.
My gay awakening.
You know what?
I understand completely.
Linda Cardellini or uh, or uh,
Poor Knoll, poor Knoll.
Poor Knoll.
That's true.
There's actually like, uh, an unhinged, like overly sexy
for no reason to be in a Scooby-Doo movie.
Like scene of Linda Cardellini that was cut.
It was like of her like dancing like in a piano.
Um, originally the movie was supposed to be rated R
and Daphne and Velma were supposed to be like have a
thing together and I want that cut.
Give it to me James Gunn.
I want that.
Give us that cut right now.
Sorry.
I was thinking of something as you said that.
My brain went places this way.
Uh, okay.
Are you, are you rule 34ing it?
Yeah.
Are you rule 34ing it?
Yeah.
Wow.
Are you rule 34ing it?
As you described it, as you described it.
Yes.
Of course I was.
I'm rule 34.
Oh God.
Here we go.
Continue on.
Of course.
We're all going to be horrified shortly.
Yeah.
Ozzy.
So Ozzy and Alex, uh, also work with Nathan.
Ozzy is a full grown man and Alex is a child.
Yeah.
So I just, I kept watching this like this is inappropriate.
You shouldn't be friends with a full grown adult, but that we,
we later learned very insensitively on Alex's part.
Another reason to say fuck that kid.
He should die.
That was a really shitty fucking like thing you did.
But, uh, Ozzy is, uh, how do, how do.
All right.
Let's, let's.
Ozzy is very childlike.
Ozzy's got kind of the Lenny from, uh, of mice and men vibe going.
Yes.
A little less extreme is that, but like, it's definitely like, okay,
he's clearly got a bit going on.
And, oh no, she found something.
Oh, the face.
All right.
Well, as we get to that.
Yeah.
And Alex, you're right.
As your typical smart Alec kid.
Yeah.
Everything in the 90s.
I fucking can't stand that trope.
It's so, it's so aggravating.
Like I'm smarter than all the adults.
It's like you're in an R rated movie.
Like you'd be fucking dead.
This was, first of all, it's a leprechaun movie.
But like if it was a killer, you'd be fucking out of here.
You'd be done.
Yeah.
You know, just a sleepaway camp.
You'd be fucking toast and be fucking out of here.
After we meet Alex and Ozzy,
we cut to Tori wanting to surprise Nathan in the basement
with some cranberry juice.
Something equivalent.
Yeah, something.
She has like, you know, some juice on the tray.
And when she goes down to find him,
he throws like a cloth on her because he didn't realize
she was there.
Some weird explanation.
But then you just said, oh no, the cranberry juice is ruined.
Yeah, I was like, oh, there goes their juice.
After he comes out to apologize to it for like, oh, sorry,
I didn't see you there.
They find the crate.
Yeah, they find the crate.
And they're like, oh, what's up with this crate?
I don't know.
But then they send Ozzy down later to do something,
clean up whatever.
Yeah.
While they're awkwardly painting the fucking house
the hideous colors.
Oh my, I need a minute because.
Kelly was very upset about the paint job on this house.
The paint job was frankly bullshit.
And this is a painting company that they've hired supposedly
three guys to paint.
Yeah, it's literally called three guys that paint.
So the house in its current state is pale blue color with
white trim.
It's very classy.
They are painting it child room blue on the outside like Sonic
the hedgehog blue.
And knuckles the akin to red for the,
for the shutters.
And why, why would you do that?
Because it was cheap.
It had to be cheap.
They could have restored it to a much classier color than
fire engine red and Grover from Sesame Street blue.
Near and far baby.
That's how it goes.
It was so tacky and ugly and I was upset and they didn't get
a lot of painting done.
It was just enough to ruin the house.
It was just enough to ruin the house.
That's, that's, that's my rant for today.
I was really upset about it.
They sent Ozzie downstairs to do something and he.
Oh, Ozzie goes into the house to clean himself up because he
somehow got covered in paint.
That wasn't even the same shade.
No, they're just covered in all sorts of paint.
So Ozzie goes in, he goes, here's, oh, here's like.
Singing.
Singing down there.
The opera con does is like Mary, they had a little lamb,
whatever the fuck thing.
He goes downstairs and then he tricks Ozzie into.
Taking the Clover.
Yeah.
Well, he like basically wipes his hand and like.
Oh yeah.
The Clover.
Yes.
Knocked off.
Yeah.
And then.
The upper con fucking Koolaid Man's through the fucking.
Pretty awesome.
And then he eats.
He eats an obviously fake bug.
Oh yeah.
It was just.
He's demanding where his gold is and he says he's going to.
He's demanding where his gold is and asks, you know,
Ozzie, where's my gold?
Where's my gold?
And he's like, I don't know.
Fuck your dog.
He's like, I'll bite your ear off.
Yeah.
And oh, and he talks about how he, he's, he wants to shine his
shoes that he's a shoemaker by trade.
But then Ozzie, Ozzie manages to escape and he runs outside to tell
everyone about the leprechaun.
And then the entire plot of this movie is no one believes there's a leprechaun
despite all these fucking wacky things happening.
That the entire time, like, yeah, okay, Ozzie's got like a,
he's a little bit of something going on with him.
But like, he's like, yeah, things just tried to kill me.
Yeah.
And, and everyone's so mean to him about it.
Like, I, like, I understand, but at the same time,
they see a rainbow.
It's only three colors.
It's the fakest rainbow I've ever seen in my entire life.
It looks like a Skittles rainbow.
And then they taste the rainbow as by the chase.
They chase it.
Specifically Ozzie and Alex chase it.
Nathan and Tori stay behind.
Her dad's doing fuck all at this point.
We don't know where he is, but like Tori's like, I'm going to keep
painting.
And they're like, I'm going to fucking meet you.
I'm going to fucking bang the truck.
You know, whatever.
But the, you know, the other two go to the, to the find the
follow rainbow and they find a rusty shit box truck where they
find one gold coin, which pings like a fucking video game icon.
Like, oh, you found the secret icon that you're looking for.
And as they're looking around, they find a bag of coins and
they look at the, they look at the coins and they're like, oh,
these are fucking really expensive as gold.
Oh my God.
Blah, blah, blah.
Let's not tell anyone about it.
Ozzie also accidentally swallows one somehow.
Cause he bites it trying to do the whole, let's see if it's a
gold thing.
Um, and he accidentally swallows it.
So there's a hundred coins, but there's 99 in the bag, one now
in Ozzie's stomach.
And then our very temperamental moment happened where.
Oh my God.
So it's, they haven't specifically said that Ozzie has something
wrong with him yet.
It's just like, okay, his performance is a little bit weird.
He's a little odd.
And then, you know, we kept saying there's a weird dynamic with him
and a child, you know, like, oh, where's this going?
And Alex, the kid goes, you know, we can do all this with gold.
We can, you know, Ozzie goes, I gotta buy a bunch of comic books.
A grown man.
It's a little strange.
And then Alex goes, we could use this goal to fix your brain.
Yep.
An operation to make you smart.
I was like, Jesus Christ.
And he's like, I am smart.
And like, no, everyone calls you not smart behind your back.
Like, it was so, like, it was so unnecessary.
Yeah.
He finds out that all this stuff's happening.
Yeah.
Which I don't think this, this whole arc about him gets paid off
at all very well.
It doesn't.
I guess technically at the end.
It's half-assed, if anything.
But we then go back to Tori and Nathan.
Yeah.
And she's like getting some stuff from the truck and she feels
something fiddling with her leg.
And she's okay with it.
And Nathan.
Nathan, stop.
And then like she gets scratched because it's clearly the leprechaun
doing a sideshow bob under the fucking car.
And just, you know, gets like scratched on the leg.
Yep.
Nathan and her dad who was again doing shit all like comes comes
over and they're like, oh, it was probably a cat.
And Tori is to her dad.
I know what it feels like when a man caresses my leg.
You do?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Dad's like, what?
It's like your daughter's like an adult.
Like, why don't you know this?
Imagine them saying that to your dad.
I know what it feels like when a man caresses my leg.
Like, I wouldn't.
I can't think of a single scenario in which I would look my father
in the eye.
Really?
You don't think you would, you would look him in the eye and say,
yeah caresses my leg?
No.
So they're telling her like, oh, it's probably a cat.
And then her dad hears some rustling in the bushes and says,
see, it's a cat.
What did I tell you?
And he's like, there is meowing noises.
There is meowing noises.
So he reaches his arm into like a hollowed out log,
which even if you think there's a cat in there.
Why would you?
Why?
Exactly.
Why would you stick your arm in it?
He gets chomped on the hand, which is a pretty gnarly fucking wound.
And it doesn't, first of all, okay, it doesn't look like a cat bite.
No.
It sure doesn't.
Second of all.
It looks like a leprechaun bite.
Second of all, like, I mean, luckily they go right to the hospital,
which if they think it's a cat bite, that's the correct thing to do.
Please go to the hospital if you fit in my cat.
Unless you have a work shift.
If they get to work, you shift, then go to the hospital.
No, you don't.
You just go to the fucking hospital.
But yeah, don't stick your hand in trees.
No.
Why?
It's okay.
Don't worry.
It's going to be fine.
It's usually me.
So.
Oh, the cat.
Oh, right.
We get an establishing moment about the truck that Nathan drives,
because they all pile in and it won't start.
The distributor caps fucked up.
Yes.
So Alex has to get out, pop up in the hood, do whatever, and then the truck will start.
So then they arrive at the hospital and, you know, because it's going to take a while
for Tori's dad to be seen.
Tori and Nathan say, oh, it's all good to bite to eat.
Alex and Ozzy sneak off to do their own thing first.
They're going to try to praise the gold that they've now got on their hands,
which they go to a pawn shop and this guy goes, they bring one coin.
And they say, you know, how much would this be worth?
And he says 500 bucks.
And they go, you know, he's like, can I keep this coin?
I'll take a look at it.
Yeah.
We'll take, you know, whatever.
And they go, okay.
And they're going to go back to the diner.
Meanwhile, the leprechaun, as they were all doing this and leaving the farm, one of the
scenes in the movie happens where they leave, they drive off to fix the dad's hand up inside
the shed.
The shed doors, again, Kool-Aid man open.
Just bam.
Oh, the tricycle.
Yes.
Incredible.
We see, we see Warwick Davis in the leprechaun gear on a tricycle in broad daylight going,
hey, like riding away.
It's like sped up footage and it's the wackiest shit.
10 out of 10.
Like I said, Warwick Davis is having a fucking blast making this movie.
He does, he is having so much fun.
We go to the pawn shop and the guy is looking at the coin and looking, you know, researching
whatever, whatever.
He goes to his like safe, a tricycle rolls by.
And they're like, ooh, spooky.
Spooky.
And the guy is like unlocking his safe and the tricycle bumps into him and he moves out
of the way.
He opens the safe and then just the leprechaun goes, this pops out and starts attacking him.
Yeah, like honestly just says that he's a leprechaun and it's not nice to steal from a leprechaun.
Yeah.
And doesn't even give the guy like a chance to defend himself.
He gets the coin.
Oh, he gets the coin.
The guy gives him the coin.
That's right.
That's right.
And it's like, okay, well, you're done.
You got your fucking coin.
He goes like, you stole me gold.
And he gets a pogo stick.
It starts pogoing the fuck out of him.
I forgot that he died via pogo stick.
And then Warwick Davis is like, I got to shine your shoes.
Yeah, you got dirt on your shoes.
We can't have that.
You know, this fucking cleans his shoes.
By spitting on them and then tapping them twice with a rag.
Yep.
That's how you clean shoes.
And then he finds a baby car.
He does.
He finds like a little toy, like, like Power Wheels car.
He puts the pogo stick in it.
And a bunch of like stuffed animals and shit.
Yeah, why not?
It's like, why?
Why?
Why not?
And he proceeds to drive off.
Yep.
It's pulled over.
Oh, well, before we get to that, we go to the diner where Nathan
and Tori kind of go back and forth.
And she says more like stereotypical lines.
I went a watercress salad in an Evian and he's like, I'm vegetarian,
which again, that didn't go anywhere.
I figured like something funny would happen with that bit.
No, she was just really pressed about meat.
Yeah, she did not want that meat.
Oh, you know what?
No, I think, I think kind of the purpose of it was like, she was like,
oh, you know, the living animals don't want them to die.
And then she's having to like potentially kill another creature.
But she doesn't even do the kill.
No.
No, I know.
She's like, I'm trying to make some logic out of this.
You know, they're having their thing.
The meatloaf looked fucking gross.
It did not look like a meatloaf.
It looked like Stofors fucking frozen meatloaf.
So they're all doing that.
The guys go over for like dinner and they kind of all shoot the shit.
And, you know, like Ozzy is like hinting that they found something.
And then, you know, Alex is like, oh, shut up.
Don't say anything.
Meanwhile, we go to the leprechaun in the little baby car and he gets pulled over
by a cop to which we all made very many comments about that.
Well, it wasn't a street legal car.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There was no license plate.
I don't know how, how leprechaun would be able to get a license.
He's been locked in that crate for 10 years.
If he did have a license, it would be expired by now.
That is true.
Aren't you a little young to be driving?
He goes, I'm 600 years old.
Does he stab him?
No, he scrapes his face.
Oh, he scrapes his face.
Because it gets that really shitty blood effect on his face.
That's right.
That looks like fucking like Pepto-Bismol sprayed on his face.
And instead of getting into his car and driving away, he starts running.
And the leprechaun is somehow able to keep up with the cop.
Yeah.
Despite the size difference, which I thought was impressive.
But yes, local backyard forest.
We missed you.
We sure have.
And where is it cheap?
Where is it free to film?
You know, fucking forest.
They run around the woods playing quote unquote hide and seek where the leprechaun baits him
with like a hat and you know, just like stupid purile ruses fucking work.
Yeah.
And eventually the guy just is like, leprechaun's gone.
I'm going to sit here.
I'm safe.
Instead of leaving.
Yeah.
He's like, I'm totally safe.
I might as well take a nap here.
And then the leprechaun pops on his shoulders and goes like he and like snaps his neck.
And it's like, that was fun.
And like that scene went nowhere.
It was a scene in this movie.
And then the leprechaun appears back at the O'Grady house and starts just, you know,
going through all the stuff in the kitchen and what does, what does the leprechaun find?
Lucky clovers.
Distinctly different.
Yeah.
And then it doesn't like the taste of him.
So I'm in the trivia right now and a lot of they kind of gave Warwick Davis free reign
to kind of just go fucking nuts.
Be, you know, have his feel a little guy.
Yeah.
And the scene where he was like, he found, he saw a reflection of himself and then he
was like admiring himself.
Like he improved that.
That was fun.
He's great.
I love him.
So there's like seven leprechaun movies.
Yeah.
If they're, if he's remotely as interested in any of these, I will watch them just because
of him.
Like I don't give a fuck about anyone else in these movies.
Like I'll watch pretty much anything with Warwick Davis because he's always entertaining.
Then eventually he finds shoes and just starts obsessively shining the shoes of this house.
But yeah, they do that.
Eventually the cast, except for dad, because now dad's been written out of the movie.
Yeah.
Well, he never come.
Well, I actually said he comes back.
Very, very, very.
Well, we'll get to that in a minute, but the rest of the movie is essentially they find
out clues that the leprechaun is real, but they don't believe Ozzy.
Ozzy keeps getting like, well, no clues that he's showing up and eventually violence kicks
in and they all start dealing with like, you know, attacks from him.
Yeah.
So like Ozzy, Ozzy tries to call the cops to report that there's a leprechaun, which
the police officers are just like, oh, Ozzy's, he's a good kid, but a little out there.
So nobody takes, nobody takes Ozzy seriously.
And Tori is just so mean to Ozzy.
Every time he brings up the leprechaun, she like always screams like, oh, stop it with
the leprechaun.
It's like, what Ozzy just be, he is not hurting anyone.
This movie is basically filmed in like three locations.
Yeah.
Most of it's the house and like the grounds around the house.
Then there's some of that little stuff in town that we just did.
And then the last thing is the rando nursing home bit we can go into.
Which I was just looking at trivia for that.
It's the same hospital they used for Halloween three seasons of the witch.
Amazing.
Happy, happy Halloween.
Fucking hate that.
Yeah, they're all like, hold up, like trying to wait out the leprechaun even though people
still want for you to believe it's a leprechaun.
They hear something outside and Nathan ends up getting his leg stuck in a bear trap.
The leprechaun set on, he keeps hanging, wants his gold.
At this point, they tried to shoot the leprechaun and it never works.
And that is the first thing they go to the entire rest of the movie when they're confronted
with the leprechaun is to shoot it.
Yeah.
They shoot it with a shotgun.
I mean, they know it's not going to hurt him, but at least the blast throws him off.
And Warwick Davis gets thrown the fuck around in this movie.
Yeah.
And I guarantee he didn't have a stunt double.
He did.
He did have a stunt double, but I was actually just reading how Warwick Davis had a lung
infection for a little bit.
So stunt double popped in for a lot, but the bear trap scene, they did not have.
They just launched his ass.
They did not have an appropriately sized stunt double as we remember.
Yes.
So there's a scene where there's a scuffle between Nathan and the leprechaun and Warwick
Davis is a little person, his stunt double, if not the same size, was very far off.
And it was very obvious where they do back shots of the head and just like, you know,
it's like this clearly, this is kind of his knees or something like he's clearly not the
same guy.
Yeah.
They do a whole bunch of fighting, quote unquote.
Yeah.
But the big thing, the whole crux of the movie is the leprechaun just does wacky fucking
like, like shenanigans with them.
Like, like there's a scene where they're looking, they're creeping around the house, like he
cuts the phone off.
He does the classic Nightmare on Elm Street bit instead of the tongue like Nancy.
That's why I wrote that's a weird baby hand.
He does the little hand pop out and says something.
It's clearly like a Nightmare on Elm Street bit.
There's a scene where like she's going through the hallways and he kind of skirts by on a
skateboard like three or four times.
That was funny.
Scooby-Doo style.
Like, it's all just set pieces for him to do like really funny weird shit.
And like, honestly, this was really fucking funny.
Like he was really funny.
But we're all on his side because it was his goal.
Yeah.
They took his goal.
Give it back.
And then the biggest thing that got under our skin was when finally Jennifer Aniston's
character finds out about the gold and like, you know, what are we going to do about the
gold?
Yeah.
Alex goes, yeah, we were going to try to use it to pay for Ozzy to get his brain
fixed.
And she goes, that wasn't going to work.
And she goes, yeah, I know that.
I just wanted to tell him that.
It's like, why the fuck did you waste his time with this?
It was like, I was, I actually wrote, I'm so fucking angry about that.
But so yeah, Jennifer, Jennifer Aniston, well, Tori gives the leprechaun the gold pouch
because it's in the well.
But the leprechaun starts counting the gold coins on like, and one is missing.
So and we all know where it is in Ozzy's stomach.
You got to accidentally eat some gold.
Yeah.
They, they had wanted to try to take Nathan to the hospital.
They got in the truck and it wasn't working again.
They think the leprechauns gone at this point, but he, so like Alex goes out to do the same
thing we saw him do at the beginning of the movie.
Fix the distributor cap.
Yeah.
Leprechaun pops out and they can't take the car later on.
During that scene, Ozzy gets his ear bit, which is they call back to earlier in the
movie when he said he was going to take his ear off and make a boot out of it.
And then so like Ozzy gets injured.
So like they're, they're getting fucked up, up and down, pretty, pretty, pretty hurt,
pretty bad.
And like, you know, again, the only answer they have is a shotgun, which if this was
time grandpa, it'd be a different story, but if their answer is shotgun and it's not working,
they might need to try something else.
So they have to look up how to kill him.
So they find out that even though we thought Mr. O'Grady was dead at the beginning of that,
he's apparently at a nursing home.
So they, they decide they're going to go track him down at the nursing home.
But, but in order to distract Leprechaun, they throw about their shoes at them.
And he keeps stopping and going, trying to get through all the shoes, but, but wait,
I thought their, their truck was broken.
Oh, they had a Jeep.
They could have taken it at any fucking time.
That was the emergency Jeep.
Yeah.
That seems like an emergency.
One other thing we did learn is that when they did call the cops, the cops.
Oh, the second time.
The second time.
Yes.
The cop, the order came in for the guy that the Leprechaun already killed.
And he was mimicking, he was mimicking his voice and he had like there, because at some
point, Tori runs to a police car and is like, help me, help me.
And then he's like, and he's like there.
And it's like, it's him in the car and they do a fight, but yeah, she gets out of
there and they go and she drives to the nursing home and, you know, she is a
creepy looking nursing home with all these weird lighting and whatever.
Like with Dutch angles, I think you said, yeah, a crazy amount of fucking Dutch
angles, but all of a sudden look like fucking battlefield earth by the time
we were getting there.
But, um, weird lighting, kind of like spooky, it looked kind of cool, but it's
like, why does the nursing home look like this?
Like this in the logic of the movie.
Yeah, yeah, it was like a really, like I've been a nursing home before.
Like that's not, it's lit like a Gialo movie.
Like everything is all red and like kind of spooky.
Like Suspirion.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, it was like a fucking Italian like horror fucking flick.
And then she gets to O'Grady's room and like the backs turned and he's
looking at the window and it's like, it's the leprechaun.
We all know the whole time we're like, it's the leprechaun, it's the leprechaun.
The leprechaun got there by roller skating.
Yes.
Which that was wild.
Warwick Davis actually was really good at roller skating.
So he just did that.
That's great.
That's great.
And they sped him up his footage with Benny Hill style.
That was so funny.
So he's in the wheelchair and like it's, it's clearly him, but they're like,
oh, we're gonna, we're gonna be real spooky.
They, we don't know it's him.
Yeah, they're pretending that it's actually Mr.
Grady and like we're like, come on.
Like we know what the, and then he spins around and then he's in the wheelchair
and they speed up the footage of him in the wheelchair going like,
and it's just like, oh, I can watch this guy do fucking anything in this leprechaun suit.
I'm going to probably regret saying that in the later movies that we end up watching
them, but God damn, he's fucking entertaining.
I think at that point, that's when we all said that we were rooting for the leprechaun.
I mean, at this point, it's like, he's right.
I mean, it's his goal.
It's his shit.
Yeah.
And everyone's an asshole.
If they left him alone, this fucking whole thing wouldn't have happened.
Exactly.
So I'd also like to point out because we know that Ozzy ate the gold.
This actually tied into something that was on the IBS IBD shitposting group.
Incredible.
Somebody shared a recipe from Sunsweep prune juice, a prune juice cold brew latte,
which is a recipe designed to make you shit your pants.
We'll try it.
We'll have to try and report back.
Yeah.
Yeah, we'll have to hear.
If you try it, let me, let me know how it is, see what it does to me.
I remember only four ice cubes, no more, no less.
Oh my gosh.
All right, I'll try.
Ozzy does not get such a beverage, even though that probably would have solved all
of their problems.
Tori, so back at the hospital, Tori manages to somehow get in the elevator away from
the leprechaun and who should fall through the top of it, but the dying Mr.
Grady, he's dying at this point now.
He wasn't dying earlier, but now he is all bloody and fucked up, implying that
the leprechaun beat the shit out of him or something.
But which would have been a funny scene, I think, if we got to watch that.
But the point is, is that he basically says, you need a four leaf clover.
Once it's on his body, you can kill him.
Blah, blah, blah, blah.
So they proceed.
She's like, he's like, where am I going to find one?
She goes, oh, it's by the well, where, you know, am I, which is, you know,
picking a four leaf clover is a real fucking rare goddamn instance.
Yeah.
So she gets, she heads back to the
the Go Grady house.
Yep.
And she tells them that they need to find a four leaf clover.
They all start looking and she gets more frustrated and agitated that it's
they can't find one.
And Ozzie's telling her not to give up hope.
Meanwhile, Alex starts looking in the shit in the garage, the barn.
Yes.
And he's looking around.
I forget what for something, but he puts a bear trap down.
Oh, he puts a bear trap.
He's like, I'm going to kill that little fucker.
And you were like certain you're like, he's going to fucking die.
He's going to fucking die.
That bear trap is going to kill him.
I was hoping the kid would get caught.
It's a higher time.
And and like, then the, then the leprechaun pops in the shadows and I was like,
eee, they're going to get the kid.
Literally, yeah, this, this is accurate.
They're both looking at me like you fucking animal.
What's wrong with you?
And as soon as like they then at that point,
I will work, David's like leaps and they have like a fight.
And then, of course, they get rescued and I'm fucking, I lose my, my joy.
But OK, so the way the way they finally defeat the, the leprechaun is Ozzie
kind of gives himself up as bait so that the leprechaun will go after him
to get the last coin.
Yeah, Alex, Alex has a piece of gum that he wads the four leaf clover
they found into.
And mind you, Ozzie's getting scratched the fuck up.
Oh yeah.
He's like shit, like he's getting his face slashed by the buckle.
And it's like, it's pretty brutal.
But so yeah, Alex uses a slingshot to shoot in a pellet of gum
with the wadded up four leaf clover into his mouth.
And all I can think is he can shit it out.
Well, here's the line.
He says he shoots it and says, fuck you, Lucky Charms.
Yes.
Which if we're not saying Lucky Charms as the fake cereal product store brand.
So like, yeah, it's just confusing.
It's store brand, Michael.
If I mean, I get they were like, we're going to get a kid to swear.
That's fucking so hardcore.
I was like, Jennifer Aniston should be the one like doing.
Yes, because then she's killing him and that plays off with the whole vegetarian.
Yeah, I wholeheartedly agree.
So like she should have been the one to get the kill and then they shoot him.
They they knock him into the into the well.
Where they they have some pretty gnarly, like melting, like melting effects.
Oh, that was pretty nasty.
I loved it. And then just for good measure, they douse him in gasoline
and just looking to light him up and they blow that fucker up.
And and then basically, like, you know, he's all like crawling out
like a skeleton like out of it and like kind of Terminator style.
And he's like, but at the very end, he curses them basically saying,
I'll be back, you know, whatever.
And we end with a shot of the police showing up being the heroes they are.
And at least your dad again.
Yeah, her dad shows up inside of the police car with a bandage on his hand
and like gives her a hug and it's like, yeah, that's it.
And I was like, boy, you guys showed up right at the nick of time.
You sure saved the day.
So how many of these are there?
So there's leprechaun, leprechaun two, leprechaun three.
I think leprechaun four is in space.
Then they have leprechaun in the hood and leprechaun back to the hood.
Wait, no, I think I think we got you're missing some.
Oh, hold on.
If they're anywhere like this, I would watch a good amount of them.
The hood ones cannot be age appropriate.
Oh, I can't imagine they cannot have aged well.
No, the space one is signed me the fucker.
Yeah.
Who, boy? Oh, yeah.
So.
Leprechauns one through four in the hood, back to the hood,
leprechaun origins and leprechaun returns.
So oh, I for I did think of an origin.
OK, so eight, eight, eight, eight of these fucking movies.
Are they all do they all have Warwick Davis?
No, I don't think I'm only going to fuck if they have war.
Let me see.
I know at least the most recent one definitively.
Just not because I already looked.
Yeah, let me just look him up.
Who cares? I want I want a Warwick Davis marathon.
You just want him and only him.
Yes, only Warwick Davis all of the time.
I know he's in the hood ones because that's the kind of a joke
is they got him to react with, you know, stereotypical,
probably like black jokes.
I'm assuming it's going to be the best.
So leprechaun five in the hood and leprechaun six back to the hood.
Oh, so the leprechaun does have a name.
What is it?
Lubdin, they were they were toying around with his name being Basil,
which I think it should have been Basil. It should have been Basil.
But so they never really explain why the why four leaf clovers
do leprechauns harm because lucky the lucky times mascot
a leprechaun wears a four leaf clover.
So I was when I was reading the trivia,
the director wanted to kind of do like some like creed, some lore,
kind of like how the stakes for vampires kind of have a similar thing.
But I guess they didn't keep up with that kind of lore through the movies.
So they just beat the fuck out of them in the other ones.
That's basically I guess we'll have to find out.
I guess we'll have to find out.
But like this, I thought this was really entertaining.
I mean, it got like a little formulaic near the end, but like I thought it was really fun.
Yeah, I was a little bored through it.
But I would definitely like I would definitely watch the rest of them.
Yeah. Yeah.
I again, Warwick David, like, yeah, the parts where like he's not on screen.
Who cares? Oh, yeah, exactly.
I don't give a fuck.
It's like once he comes on, I'm like, all right, hell, yeah, we're constant.
We're kind of nonsense.
So we do. Yeah. Same here.
Like gimmicks. Yeah.
Like once he's on screen, I'm fucking all in.
Oh, yeah. But like when it's like, oh, it's them.
And they're like, oh, he likes him.
I don't give a fuck about that.
Like, no. And obviously, any time the kids showed up, I wanted nothing to do with that.
They'll get out. You hated that kid.
I fucking hated that kid.
And apparently he's in a bunch of other shit.
So, yeah, I would say, I mean, I guess starting from the top,
who's our Frankie mermaids?
Oh, it has to be the leprechaun, right?
I'm voting the kid.
He fucking lied about his friend's condition.
No, it's the leprechaun that he's unhinged.
Yeah.
OK, I guess who is more likely to take candy from a baby
and throw the baby into the river so that the baby can't snitch the kid.
The leprechaun just wants his gold.
He does just want his gold.
The kid, the kid, the kid fucking fucked his friend over. Fuck him.
You know, I just justice for Ozzy.
Justice Ozzy. He's just he's doing he's doing his best.
He's doing he is doing his best.
And everyone is mean to him for no reason.
And that bother. Oh, that's the other thing.
He did say like some line at the end that was kind of like poetic about his condition.
He says, oh, I did something smart.
So you just say something. Yes, he says he says something that I think we were like,
you know, good for you, good for Ozzy.
But no, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Like I said, it like like Lexa said,
once whenever he's not on screen, it's like it's like.
But like once you get anything with Warwick Davis, it's like, oh, fuck,
you know, let's go a rock and roll.
I can only imagine the quality changes significantly between movies.
I guess we'll have to find out.
But that's my two cents on leprechaun, the movie.
Out of the non existent five leaf clover, how many leafs would you give it?
I'd give it a shamrock and give it a three.
I give it a fat three.
I'm going three as well.
OK, OK. What about you?
I'm more like a two, two point five.
OK. You know me. I'm I'm critical.
A little caterpillar ate away some of the third leaf for a two point five.
Yeah, I can. Yeah, I support that.
Yeah. He was he was a little hungry.
He's a little hungry.
He's definitely not fries seven leaf clover from no from you.
But you know, we tried, we tried.
We tried.
It might be one of those movies where like I watch it again and I'm like, OK,
this is funny now.
I think if you watched it in the state you're in right now,
you'd probably get more fun out of it.
Well, I'm sober now.
Oh, well, it was like an hour ago, maybe.
But no, I really thought I was.
I could watch Warwick Davis read a phone book at this point.
I'll be I'll be entertained.
Yeah, if you just let him like go loose.
Yeah, just let him go fucking ham.
Let's go. Let him have at it.
Yeah, it was great.
The fucking mirror bit like all this stupid shit.
The mirror bit was funny.
It's just like I'm just going to fuck around to find out.
Yeah. Yeah.
I think actually, I don't know if I of the two movies
that we watched like that same night.
I actually I don't know which one I would say I enjoyed more.
We were like watching this movie.
We were fresh off of like food.
That's true.
We had some little treats.
Yep.
And I feel like that always impacts my mood.
Yeah.
Very food-motivated.
We'll have to love to consider.
I love it.
I've also seen the other movie before.
That's OK. That's fair.
That's true.
Yeah, I I hadn't seen either.
I hadn't seen Leprechaun or.
I was enjoying your reaction to the second movie,
but that's more of just how you were like.
But we like knew you were going to be like.
This is fucking bonkers.
It's weird.
It's just weird.
This is a weird shape.
Oh my god.
Yeah.
Man, just what did you do?
Oh, we were talking to a somebody.
My sister-in-law is like studying to be a dental hygienist
and she's like she's been taking all our board exams.
So we were talking about what would you guys do last night?
What did we do last night?
And I said, after she's like, oh, yeah, you know,
I'm studying like getting ready for my board exams.
I'm like, cool.
I watched Leprechaun and Killer Clowns from outer space.
So, you know, we are on the same level.
We are doing we are doing great things.
We're doing the Lord's work.
We are doing important things.
Yeah, just we are serving our community.
We're serving our community like they're very comparable.
Got that right.
But yeah.
So I did I did enjoy Leprechaun,
whether or not we do the entire series.
Yeah, that remains to be seen.
It remains to be seen.
That could be a yearly thing.
We just do another one every year.
Sure.
Just like get the corned beef and cabbage out
and let's fucking go.
It's going to be oh, it'll be our homage to till death do us blart.
Yes.
Oh, god, here we go.
Yeah, which we've plugged on the show before.
It's just so funny to me.
Paul till death do us blart.
A group of five comedians watch Paul Blart Mall Cop
to every every year.
And they released the episode annually on Thanksgiving.
None of them have seen the first one.
Incredible.
And as of the last episode they recorded,
they were starting to actually think it was genuinely funny.
Like Stockholm syndrome.
No, it's amazing.
That's dark.
So shout out again till death do us blart.
But that, I think that wraps up Leprechaun.
I think we did it.
We did it.
Lock it in.
And you know what?
There's nothing better to do after Leprechaun
than washing your ass.
Here, here.
Yeah, get some Irish spring and wash that asshole.
Or Dr. Squatch.
Or Dr. Squatch.
But yeah, Irish spring was that was good comedic timing.
You're welcome.
