On a much smaller money level, there's all kinds of nonsense that goes on and all kinds of things that have to be rectified
I mean, you've even seen some of there's all kinds of big lawsuits that take place and all of this kind of stuff happens
sort of the unspoken rule of all of this is
You handle it in house, especially when you get to the level of a two million three million four million dollar car and

Will say for all of you that have maybe gone into a comment section and said, you know
Koenig Zignix needs to make this right and you know if I bought a car that's that
You just have no basis in how this stuff works a hand-built car name the car company
Always has problems now
Some have fewer problems than others
Some of them come with minor problems. Some of them come with major problems
That's been generations. So I want to start with
this is the
odd behavior on both parties but collection
Collections especially don't normally do this and for people that are like have been living under a rock for the last week
Because I know sometimes it's it's hard for people that have good hard-working jobs to keep up with what's going on on the internet
And the car rolled especially
We're talking about an expensive car like a Koenig Zeg
Maintenance we're talking about this few that went online went digital with stories and a whole graphic of
Christian von Koenig Zeg looking like Thanos. It was a really bizarre attack at a person in a company of that stature
Right, so that just wanted to paint that picture there
For people that might not have known and you know
Hamilton the collect the older older Koenig Zeg already in his possession getting a newer one a custom one
So I just wanted to set the scene in case people didn't know that
Yeah, and actually it seems to be centered around a second-hand purchase Koenig Zeg, right, right?
A second-hand hyper clean excuse me hyper car purchase. Hey, if you need some hyper clean for that Koenig Zeg
Let us know we'll send you some out. It is a very is a very real thing, right? Like it's it's
Sort of frowned upon, you know hyper car builders don't like
People buying second hand and then kind of blaming them for stuff that you know looks like maybe the maintenance wasn't done
And I know what I saw a lot of people saying which is you know a car with less than 10,000 miles shouldn't need all that
Hypercars or hypercars man. I'm not saying that some are absolutely better than others and when people say things like
Well, you know Bugatti guys
Bugatti compared to like completely hand-built is not that I know they're in the same segment
But there's Volkswagen parts. There's Mercedes like
You guys are comparing I know the same price level
But you're comparing apples to oranges because there are mass produced parts all over the bucat the Bugatti platform
Like you can use VW parts at certain to fix certain things in a Bugatti
You're not gonna do that with a Koenig Zeg so it's apples and oranges right off the bit right off the rip when you go
Well, you know Bugatti doesn't have these problems. You can write it for 40,000 miles. I hear you
You're just in the wrong lane here, but
Make no mistake a Bugatti a Ferrari a Lambo name the company that you think does hypercars the best and never has any issues
I can guarantee you they've had people because I've been involved with some of us say you sent me this car
I hate it. You need to facilitate me getting rid of this car

I think I need to tell people logistically how this normally would be handled. Yes, that's a great segue

Let's say you bought this car secondhand. You're having all kinds of issues with it
Kona zig is gonna have the point of view like you need to send this in it needs to be here for three or four months
And we need to go through the car that would be the first thing
Just so we're all clear that normally what happened of like hey, sorry about this
I know we have what they have 12 dealers
I think in the United States don't send it to a dealer send it to us give us three or four months
We're gonna sort the car out. We'll get it back to you doesn't seem like that happened. Right. So there's the first strange
Thing that I haven't seen really talked about
The second strange thing is if you had all these problems and you had a car on order and seemingly
You know that is not going well
although
CBK seems to be the guy that laid out the timeline and the timeline kind of favors
Konig's egg on that. I don't want to take a side
But seems like Konig's egg even if they miss a deadline guys hand-built cars miss deadlines all the time
Yeah, go to go to SEMA Ford misses deadlines. They don't even have drive shafts and the trucks in the boat
Why is Ford catching strays right now? I mean anybody Toyota. I mean it doesn't matter
Right, I mean so they had a year to get prepared two years to get prepared and they still don't really meet deadlines, right?
So when you look at all of this, here's what would normally happen and by the way happens pretty regularly
As you'd go I have a car on order
I've paid deposits. I own this car that I paid X number of dollars for that. I've had nothing but trouble with I want to
Dump all my Konig's egg ownership
Okay, it's almost like a stock you'd call your broker
The broker here would be Konig's egg and you'd say I want to dump my Konig's egg
stock which would be these two cars
If they fight you you get attorney involved which by the way anybody buying this level of car has an attorney
Usually in their building on speed dial, whatever
Then Konig's egg would bring their attorney in and you'd have a mediation
And a mediation would basically be you're setting a time frame for Konig's egg
To find you a buyer would be somewhere around six months to a year
Because again, you got to give ample time for this stuff to happen and you'd say hey
I'm not gonna make a stink about this. I just need you guys to facilitate and get me in touch with buyers that want your car
You need to make sure they understand. I'm not trying to be low balled
You maybe even might put a little one page two page five page agreement together of the timeline of things
It wouldn't be some like
monstrosity of a legal document
And it would just basically be like mediation in a divorce
Right, you sit in a room in this case you'd sit on zoom or whatever and you would just hash it out and you would go
Okay, you got 365 days to dump these two cars to another Konig's egg potential buyer
I know I might take I'm willing to take a 10% haircut on each or
20% or whatever you come to
Or you're not willing to take any
Haircut and Konig's egg signs the agreement and you guys, you know dump the cars
That's what makes this strange because this happens all of the time
like it really does and
The fact that neither party is bringing that part up is really strange while they're arguing back and forth
In a very strange that it's even happening world
It's like if you just assume the attorneys would have called each other and said hey everybody be quiet
Let's make a deal. Let's get out of it. So that's where I say
Is this a content play? Yeah, is there is there the tin foil hat and me goes
Something doesn't add up here now. I'm not saying that it doesn't add up
I'm just saying this is so regular to have happened. I mean Stradman dumped his Konig's egg
I was gonna ask about not ask about that
I was actually gonna look it up at a head and because I know he was making a lot of content for a long time with that
I think which was also an aura gear
I believe which is the one that Hamilton had issues with it was secondhand and and it's just funny the way that
Konig's egg was walking around the Jesko that he has on order, right?
And it's just something about the way he said it to like the video was done in a way where it was
You know, it was eloquently put you know, he's walking around the car
He's kind of describing the timeline in a way that seemed much more
Not erratic I guess because that's how I that's how I kind of watched some of Hamilton stuff
And I was like this and then at the very end
I guess to kind of sum it up when he replies back and it's so funny
did we've seen people at the highest levels of power in this world go back and forth on social media and now we're talking about you know
These car collectors and manufacturers are just like what a what a wild world, but he said, you know, good
Good cars bad people or something to that effect about talking about Konig's egg like they build or it's good people bad cars
Something to that effect. Yeah something like that. Yeah, and you know, you've had other collections way in
Right on behalf of of Hamilton. I think triple F guys weighed in worst car we ever owned something like that. Okay
Look, I got people that would say that about certain other brands too. Yeah, you know, this is not abnormal
You know, I have a customer that has great experience with BMW has horrible experience with Mercedes
Right, I mean and they're buying the top level of every one of those cars and they don't like this brand
They like that brand. You're loud, right? I mean, it's just human and by the way, sometimes you get something
That is not the greatest experience
And so you go I can't believe people like this. Well
to cbk's point

They got a lot of repeat buyers if everything was terrible in that building
This company would have sunk long ago
Right in reality because this this is a world. It's kind of unforgiving like if it just was so this problematic all the time
For every owner
That's a wrap. It'd be a wrap by now. Now. It doesn't mean they're perfect either
Right. I'm sure there's a lot of headache. I know there's a lot of headache. I shouldn't even say, you know, it's not even speculation
There's a lot of headache
but
When you are at that level purchasing those cars
You basically don't buy a lot of things that aren't at least some type of headache
Right. And you know what came to came to mind too. It occurred to me
Having been around shop owners of all sorts from tuners to all kinds of other things in the aftermarket world
When somebody gets disrespected
They nobody knows what exactly happened
But this then ignites this whole like vendetta against this shop or the shop owner or this tuner
So something told me and you and I hadn't even talked about this that something may have happened that we'll just
We're just we're just kind of having a story time here on the podcast that um, Hamilton
You know didn't like and that was like his kind of switch. We're like, okay, that's it
This company is getting it and when you have social media power, of course
You know, you and I talked about a situation here recently where
I had to say to somebody like you realize you're talking about a guy that has like 200 million
Followers across platforms if he explodes. Yeah
This is like problematic, right? And I want people to understand. I think everybody's allowed to do what they want
I mean, that's one thing Rob and I stand behind by what you want do what you want your life
This is odd behavior and and where this will get judged and I know that people don't really understand this world
And I I kind of get that
Is amongst the owners that can afford cars like that. This is like stuff you don't do
Yeah, the court of public opinion is unforgiving. Yeah, and you go well, that doesn't really matter
It may matter down the road
You may need to do business with one of those people and they go
Weren't you the guy?
Yeah, I mean it this sounds crazy
But this is why this kind of elevated crowd doesn't do things like this, right
There's a lot of interconnection to a lot of different places around the world
It could be manufacturing could be whatever where these tycoons watch how you act. That's why we we always
Are very surprised about crazy things on the internet because the stuff lives forever, right and
Really smart high-level people knew that before anybody
Like they they just accepted like hey, I'm not gonna do that on the internet
And so I want our crowd to to kind of number one give us their comments and opinions on what's happened
But I want it to be through the lens of
This is odd odd odd behavior
Yeah, my and there's something behind it. That's not being put out
100% I can stand behind that for sure in my clutch culture
10 full beanie always goes on when I see stuff like this and I go right to wrestling a lot of times because of the
Social world the entertainment factor that we live in I even told dick on the phone
I was like this is this screams like classic wwe
But after you watch more videos and even some reactions from other people in that world
You're kind of like okay, and that's what that's when I started thinking about the disrespect factor
I'd like something may have happened that they just didn't like and that was just the end of it
He almost kind of said like let's just burn like was it Goggins? Who's gonna carry the boats?
Hamilton was like we're just gonna burn them off. How about that? I'm not carrying anything. We're gonna burn everything
and by the way
You know
A powerful social media guy just loses, you know, like you said wants to burn the boats. That's what he's gonna do
Yeah, for sure. You know what I mean like
And and I understand that
Oh boy does he
Man, I'm not
I'm not one of these guys that doesn't understand like that. Hey, if that is what you've decided to do
It's your platform do it. I'm not and I want to make this clear. I'm not judging either party. No, no
I don't really know what's happened here. I know one thing
This was all solvable in a five minute mediation, which by the way happens with every brand on big special cars
I mean
from from from four gts that that you know
They made all these rules and people broke the rules and attorneys got involved. I mean
That's a ford. Yeah that that happened on so it happens in the conic zig world. It happens in the bugatti world
It happens in the ferrari lambo world. It happens and when you have big powerful
Brands attached to big powerful wealthy people
Usually a little five minute mediation gets the cars unloaded and it's all good to go
Usually, but you know what the world cannot escape dudes being bros and bros being dudes
All right, and that will sometimes burn it all to the ground
I saw a video and then we'll move on to the subject of uh football players
I forgot which classic, you know, I think it was defensive end or something talking about the story from 15 years ago
Okay, him and this other player get into a beef on the on the field at some super bowl many many years ago
And on the field the guy that got tackled said i'm gonna fuck you up next time
I see you no matter where we are right the other player is like all right bet
15 years later
He sees this guy on the sidewalk and he's telling his buddy like take my hat
Take my phone and because he thought on site no matter how long it's been. We're talking almost two decades later
Yes, just bros being dudes and dudes being dudes guys being dudes like it's
As entertaining as all this stuff is and I think that's the best part of it. Yeah, I just go
It could really boil down to as easy as what you said
Somebody said something cross and he goes you don't talk to me like that and I'll show you
And the next thing you know, he spun his phone around and went off what a world
And here's the thing I I actually sympathize with that because it's like

But this level of money

So this bigger heavier larger SUV will now have their two and a half liter four cylinder

So here's a company hybrid that didn't really do engines well
When they were more traditional now, we're going to throw a few turbos in the mix

probably thinner oil and longer maintenance times and
Is this good for these brands who couldn't figure it out when things were seemingly easier to build
So 270 horsepower 311 pound-feet of torque 49 more than the v6
I like how that's always like a plus like hey, we got more power out of smaller engines like

There's more people that don't know about the intricacies of like the car world than those that do so
We'll say our audience, you know as big as it is is and is growing
It's still is nowhere near the amount of people that just don't know a lot about how cars have been put together
That all these conversations we're having about data and technology and safety
So when people say like these people aren't doing their jobs, we'll just use any big, you know, big wig at a company
They're actually doing exactly what their job is which is making their shareholders as much money as possible
Because there's way more people who are going to be gullible enough to just bite on the newest shinyest kind of thing
Which is great. I love consumerism. Love capitalism, but we can't fool ourselves
There's just there's never going to be enough people that know or understand how it works to want to kind of rail against it

You need to start doing this and you want to keep your job and not be booted from ceo, you're going to do it. Yeah
I mean, it's hard to find another 25 million dollar job paying that
I mean, you know with the prestige globally of being the head of a car company
There's a few things that when you're the executive of these types of kind
It's like being the executive of an oil company that's global being an executive of banks
Being an executive of investment firms being an executive of car companies. There's only so many of those jobs
Yeah, you know, it's sort of like getting into the mba or the nfl or major league baseball
There's a limited number of spots
So once you reach that height like jim farley, he's not going to be like, hey
I'm just going to go over to this upstart car company that has four dollars in the bank
Right like that's not what he's going to do. You know, he's a quote-unquote car guy
that's not going to happen and
What move could he make?
After he leaves for that would be a step up for him. It's a pretty small number
So shareholder comes up and goes
You need to start selling data. We own shares and these other companies
I've already talked to their boards and their executives. They could use it. We could sell it for this much money
Which by the way, if you think jim farley's putting those deals together
It's the shareholder big dogs that own shares and 50 different companies and go
We've already laid out who you guys are going to talk to so put this in the car and i'm not saying it's this brass or

Part of state farm and they own part of all state and they own this and they own that and they own

And they go these people would really like that data. Can you make that happen?
