19: Variety Bash 2019
Meet Las Smith, a 28 year veteran on the Variety Bash an annual rally event raising money for children. Les details the inaugural running of the Bash started by Dick Smith and John Singleton. Les has been racing in his 1967 Fairlane with Team Toshiba and explains what is needed to meet the challenges of such an event. He talks about many celebrities that join the Variety Bash including stories with John Paul Young and John Farnham and the legendary Dick Smith. Halil and Ross are back from holidays and Ross talks about cheap parking in Queensland as well as flying drones on the beach. Avo's son has an M3 race car and has raced since 14 years old and the boys discuss the CAMS family rule when racing with family members. Nasser the dentist "crashes" the podcast and the boys hear about their first female listener - Ross' wife!!!
