In my car hole
Running solo during this holiday week to try and get an episode up and out. I am sitting in my garage in the new Acura MDX hybrid and talking to my laptop, which is on my lap.Topics include my truck, my Benz, some upcoming rides, and a few upcoming trips. A Manuel Transmission
We're all in the studio and joined by guest Manuel Carrillo III. He's an automotive content machine doling out great pieces (both written and video-based) for a plethora of Internet Brands outlets. He's also a friend of Hooniverse. We brought Manuel in because we wanted to hear about his latest endeavor; restoring his father's old 1977 Porsche 911. This is a car that has been sitting for some time, but it's also the very car that brought a baby MC3 home from the hospital. He's invested in the outcome, and we want to learn more about it all.
Sleepy in Seattle
I'm up in Seattle for the launch of the new Audi A4/S5 Sportback. It's a fine machine, but I just wish it was an Avant. Regardless, there are other things to talk about including the Indy 500. So onward to the questions which help me cover all the various topics we need to talk about.
Before your Civic duty
I'm sitting in a hotel room in Marina Del Rey and tomorrow I'm going to drive the new Honda Civic Si. Before that happens, let's talk about some other cars. Recently I went to Canada to test Audi's new SQ5 and it was really good. I'm trying to decide what to do with the 1974 Benz W114 I bought, and I'm thinking of putting some new wheels on there. Finally, I'm getting ready to go and watch the Indy 500 this weekend and that should be quite awesome.
Meeting of the Triumvirate
Chris, Zack, and I are all in the studio for the first time in what feels like a long time... even though it's only been a few weeks. We talk about Zack getting to check out Jay Leno's Garage and his trip to Icon for a Casino Charity evening. I talk about my recent fuel line fix on the 1974 Mercedes-Benz 280 sedan that I purchased. After that, we take your questions, and we're keeping the accents alive as well.

Chris from B is for Build and Freddy Tavarish Hernandez stop by to talk about cheap cars, YouTube, and anything else we can think of... which is usually inane and random, when you leave it up to us.Chris is entering the challenge with his Mad Maxian Infiniti G35 that he picked up cheap from CoPart. Tavarish has gone with a 4.6-liter Ford Mustang convertible. It's a V8 manual trans car, so it should be a blast even if it looks like a California rental car from the late 90's.

Corbin Goodwin and Michael Elterman are the hosts of a new show called Corbin'S Hit Show. You should watch it because it's hilarious. We invited the pair onto the podcast to chat about the show, and some other topics that pop up including the Corbin's RX-7 and Rolls-Royce Drift Car, and Michael's LS-swapped Fox Body Mustang.
Alone after 200
Here's a solo episode recorded a few days after 200 was recorded. Since 200 doesn't come out for a few more weeks, I wanted to make sure I get an episode out this week so we're not waiting longer to run Ep200.Here I talk about some potential project cars I'm looking at acquiring, some possible plans for the HoonTruck, and a recent drive in the new Audi S4 and S5.

Ring Brothers - SEMA 2016
Perennial favorites and awe-inspring builders Jim and Mike Ring stop by to share their experience building Wes Rydell's 1948 Cadillac Coupe ATS-V hybrid. As usual the guys have done some outstanding work but few people appreciate just how big of an undertaking the 48 was. The car is FAR from a simple engine swap and in total it's truly a complete re-engineering of an ATS-V that happens to look like a 48 Caddy.
