With slick body lines from the long hood back to the sloping rear roof line leading down to the short deck, the profile is all performance. This model is subject to a lot of stylings from slick cruizer to full on drag racer. For Jerry Straznicky, it is the 671 blower sitting on top of a small block that does the trick. A lot of automotive enthusiasts were eagerly waiting to see the movie 'Ford vs. Ferrari' when it finally hit the big screen. The actual 25th Annual Keels & Wheels event was cancelled due to COVID, but it is still the 25th one to happen on the first weekend in May. Does the recent Houston incident show 'humans aren't ready for self-driving vehicles'?
For some time now, we have been hearing more and more about self-driving vehicles - how much safer the roads will be. The basic idea is that the 'computer' will evaluate all situations and make the most logical decision which is primarily to avoid an accident. We already have adaptive cruise control systems to keep vehicles space, we already have blind spot monitoring, we have systems to keep a vehicle in a lane, and cameras so we can see around us to avoid an accident. So if we have so much technology that under the right circumstances a vehicle can drive own it's own, why do we have issues? For one the infrastructure is not all built to support the sensors needed for a vehicle to know where it is and where it is going.
